Hi, my name is navneet. and i have been using tata photon whiz. I would like to mention the way i was treated and the insult i have been through in past couple of days. I noticed that i had no more use of internet services, so i decided to disconnect it. So, in order to submit my application for disconnection of internet, i went to this TATA indicom store in PHASE 3B1 in MOHALI (PUNJAB). When i told the person sitting on the front desk that i wanted to disconnect my internet, he told me to go and talk to the lady who was sitting behind him. I approached her while she was talking to someone over the phone. I waited her to finish off the call. After 2 minutes, she was done with the call and i told her that i wanted to disconnect my internet. She told me to talk to the lady who was sitting to her left. When i approached her, she asked me why did want to disconnect the internet so i told her that i was not in need of internet anymore. She opened my account in her computer asked me that i had to pay the due amount and it will take 4 days to get it disconnected. I said it was okay i can pay the amount right now and asked her to take my application. (Her attitude was so wrong. She was acting like i was an illiterate and she was superior). She refused, saying that it was in the name of my mother and her signature are mandatory not mine. i said okay i will get an application signed by my mother tommorrow. I wasn't yet finished and she started talking to another customer. I said thank you, but she ignored it. When i left the store, i was feeling so insulted and harrassed. the next day i went with the application duly signed by my mother. When i went next day, there was some other lady. i told her the whole story and she repeated the same procedure so i told her that i had that application signed. But she said that the id proof of your mother is required without it, application can't be accepted. I told her that i woud come tommorrow with the id proof and asked if there was anything else i had to do along with the id proof. she said only id proof is required. Again i left the store and felt like a fool because the previous lady didn't inform me that the id proof is required. She was so arrogant that didn't even bother herself to talk politely. So i went today along with all the required documents. There was the same lady whom i had talked to, the first time. I gave her my application and she asked me to pay the due amount. I paid the due amount which was 771. i asked her to confirm if my internet will be disconnected by 4 days. She said it'll take 15 days and she said it so rudely and carelessly. Again i was so frowned by her attitude. so atlast my application was taken today 23 september 2010.
I HAVE BEEN USING OTHER TATA PRODUCTS AND I AM PRETTY MUCH SATISFIED BY THEM. BUT THIS EXPERIENCE WAS TERRIBLE FOR ME. I am so unhappy and disappointed by the attitude of that lady. I don't know her name, but she is the one who takes care of disconnection of services. i went at around 11 am.
I also wonder why TATA being such a good company, hire arrogant people to represent TATA. After such a terrible experience, I swear i'll never go to tata indicom outlet, and never buy tata mobile service. i'll tell all of my friends about this incident.
