Dear Sir,

The product which i bought for internet usage was Tata Photon plus which has maximum speed of 3.1 Mbps in Chennai. But while using the gadget me only get speed less than 0.2 Mbps. I am not satisfied with the feedback by the supplier on my raised complaints. Kindly provide me a positive solution to fight for the quality product.

    dear sir .I am h c khurana and i am using photon plus connection since last 10 days and shamefully i have launched 3 complaints regarding network but i have not received anything from your side even your engg. have come 2 times but they say we cant do anything.please tell me what to do of your useless connection photon no is [protected] and latest complaint no is[protected]
    first tme your je came to me in res at moti nagar and after one hour he told me that i have checked all settiings and i cant do anything about slow connection . he also told me that tata photon is the worst among all companies "I even dont use it and prefer to use airtel. why did u buy this".
    i told this je named ganesh what to do . he told me better to buy airtel connection. i said what about 2400 rs for photon plus he told u never get anything back from tata and told me to complaint in customer care
    on sunday i launched 2nd complaint and your je came to my office address at kashmere gate. i tod him that signals here are zero of tata photon plus and he said tata signals are worst in kashmere gate and u will never get signals here . he also told me that our job is only to close complaint by fooling customers even if we have to tell anything
    for third time in front of your je i gave a complaint to your cc and they gave me a complaint no[protected] and a message came to my phone that your resolve time for this complaint is 16 sep 5.46 pm and today i am sending this e mailon 17 sep and yet no body came to me
    then i called cc and there i had a chat with poornika ji . she was the most helpful in you tata photon and she assured me about prompt action and latest complaint no for that is[protected] and i am again waiting for the resolution .

    please sir help me about this photon connection a i am losing lot of my work because of your connection .

    TATA- PHOTO — NO connectivity

    This has reference to the problems faced by me regarding usage of TATA Photon + The photon device has not been working since 25th Aug 2009. My A/C No:[protected], Photon No: [protected]. I am based in Nagpur

    I have been since then running from pillar to post to get this issue resolved.
    I had initial logged a call with request No:[protected]
    I had also escalated the matter to your site Reference No. is 100944 on 2/09 & today Ref No. 102544. dt.7/09
    I have also contacted the following nos. Technical: [protected], Toll free [protected]
    Sameet Dey :[protected]
    Atleast 5visits ( 4 different persons) have been done by the technical personnel.
    Different reasons have been given as below:

    Laptop Probem/ settings in Laptob blocking uSB device.: I offered them 4 diferent laptops. Problem remains the same.
    We have reset thetower, now it should work: Problem remained the same.
    We will upgrade the software in the Photon Device: No one turned up.
    The modem Hardware has a problem: No one is ready to certify the same.
    The following persons have visited me:
    Ishan -Service Engineer: [protected]
    Vikram:[protected]
    Mr. Ravi(Utkarsh Electronics):6464108 & spoken to Mr. Ravi, Amar Kahar & Mr. Anil Deshmukh o[censored]tkarsh Electronics. Each one of the above promises to resolve the matter in a days time.

    On further calls im only assured that one more engineer will be deputed.

    I am disgusted, frustrated & fed up with the services. Such service is only bringing disrepute to the TATA's

    I am stuck, since i have paid Rs. 3500/- for the modem, & run internet bills in exess of Rs 3000/- in 2 weeks. I have also paid the same. The down load speed is not what it has been claimed to be. False claims have been made while selling the equipment. This is also misleading the customer.


    I was further informed that the photo will be replace in a couple of days. i also got a call 2 days later that the photon will be delivered in a hours time.
    LAter on I when i followed up i was told there were technical issues an teh same would be rectified within 48 hrs.

    Mr. Samit Dey who is based in Pune has again asked the IndicommNAgpur office to get in touch in me. I am left in the lurch and with nowhere to go. I never expected this from the House of TATA.

    Tata Photon Plus — connectivity

    tata is taking advantage of his brand name,without having knowledge and emply they came into internet business.its my suggetion to mr.TATA...

    Hello i have been using tata photon plus from quite a long time now, even though it gives really slow speeds as compared to advertised i continue to use it, but from past week this new problem has started it is continuosly getting connected and then getting disconnected i am a day trader and continuity in net connection is a must for me i called customer service few times first time they said that this is a general problem and be rectified in 2 hours( but nothing happened as expected) and the next time i called the execute asked me to uninstall then reinstall then resart and lot of stuff but after everything has been done the problem still persits, i know tata photon is a really big internet service provider and one customers problem doesnt really matter to them but if everyone one started to get dissatisfied by your services then photon would be history so plese look into the matter.

      logging a complaint against tata photon internet service..... my USB plan is for unlimited scheme. this month 13/9/2010 i've charged for 666 rupees for unlimeted plan.... before charging i made a call to customer care for asking the amout to recharge they told to charge 100+666 rs @ first time i too charged later when i checkd for activating the service it doesn't charged again i called the customer care 1 female told there is a outstanding balance of 364 rs... 15/9/2010 again charged 500rs 16/9/2010 when i cheked whether net activating are not again made a call to customer care a male told to recharge for 150rs....

      so my scheme is for unlimited plan 666rs but to activate my service i totally payed sum of 100+666+500+150=1466rs is this the way u charge for the 1500rs schme.... how stupid is this... totally fed up...no proper care is taking to the customer no proper vocabluary communication skills to dial... please be aware of buying tata photon people.... lotz of hidden charges... lotting our money....

      This is to inform you that my bill amount is too high during the month of 20/9/09 to

      19/10/09 rs.2191/-. But i have used more during the month of 20/08/09 to19/9/09,

      It was just rs.909/-.I am very much confident there is some mistake while calculating

      Usages. Kindly look into the matter once again for the sake of customer relations.



      Further i want to clear to you i have been told at the time of buying broadband from your

      Outlet in sec-9 rohini that you will get unlimited surfing and downloading of 2gb under

      The plan of monthly rental of rs.750/-.



      But i don’t know what is the problem in your system. If your 750/-monthly rental provide me

      Unlimited surfing and downloading of 2 gb than i am agree to continue ,otherwise cancel my

      Contract with you and refund my money back which i have paid at the time of buying your photon rs.3500/- at your earliest just to avoid further complications.

      Yes, the same case happened with me as well.
      And I have called several times for the same, but everytime they come up with same answer that usage are fine. billing amount is correct. I have frustrated with their service.
      Her I want to tell you that TATA Photon Plus is TOO COSTLY. and they are reluctunt to understand customer's problems.

      Please never buy tata photon plus. It's really bad. I am not going to pay their bill and I ll through the USB device in gutter. I dont want to add my share in their revenue.

        Hi guys, MY PHOTON NO IS 92335040 I am living in a rural area and here is very poor internet services, I looked for all available internet service provider here such as BSNL, Reliance, Tata. The only one solution that I find is tata photon whiz, that work in my area with very very poor speed. All other service available in our city area, but not work in the rural area.

        I am getting speed of 0-32-40 kbps with tata photon whiz, which is very low speed. For opening any site it take lots of time and sometime if the page is very heavy, it even not open.

        Please guys help me by informing about any hack or any software that can increase my speed. I have no any other option to choose internet service provider in my location.

          I have purchased a Tata photon data card in the second week of July.I was using a old device which was working on my computer system, the Tata Photon people asked me to purchase this new device suggesting it has better speed than the older one. He sold me the device and told me that it will be activated next day.Next day the device doesn't work on my system.I asked for the problem to the person, he came after couple of days to check but could not solve the problem. He took the device with him telling that he will check with some technician and then revert back to me.After couple of days when I inquired about it he started telling me that their is some problem with my system only, instead of solving the issue he started blaming my system.I told the person to return back the money but he refused to do so.Now the worse situation is that now I am receiving the monthly bill for that device which I am even not having it.

          Please look after the issue and suggest me for getting my money back.

            Don't join in Photon if you join you will be slave for the concern and will lose all your happines and freedom. there is a lady rowdy in the company.
            I know who the lady rowdy is.
            But there are many rowdies here.
            Revathy, Uma and shridevi(PMO)all are same such rowdies.

              "It truly is the fastest in its kind".... this is what they advertise but i agree with them as it did not even take a full hour before the modem was declared "DEAD"....
              I received the post paid modem on 27.6.10 and immediately after getting to know how to use it by the service guy who had come for the installation.... the Modem started heating up, the next i knew was low speed and the device getting diconnected..
              These are the number of times i have complained.
              1)Gave my first complain on 29/6/10 vide complain no.[protected]
              received a call from the Tata Photon+ people directly on 2/7/10... was been told to submit the device in their workshop(Sai Telecom)at Nerul wherein i will get a new device in the next three working days
              2)Gave a second complain on 7/7/10 vide complain no.[protected] regarding the new modem which i was suppose to receive in the next three working days.
              3)Gave a third complain on 21/7/10 vide complain no.[protected] .... still did not receive the Modem ... Now the real fun starts ... i receive call practically every 2 days regarding PAYMENT,which i fail to understand as on what basis should i pay "For not using your service" .....
              4) Gave a fourth complain ..... but this time the TATA Photon+ guy listens to the whole conversation and disconnects the call when i asked for the complain no.
              This shows how courteous they are towards the client ,i request you to disconnect my modem and stop giving me calls else i will take up this matter to the Consumer Forum

                I bought TATA Photon Plus around 15-20 days back. It stopped working after 2 days. I called customer care and they told me that my document verification is negative. When i called my dealer to know my document verification status, he told me that my document verification is complete. This after checking cross checking with my dealer and customer care 4-5 times, I came to know that my document verification is complete. But my device never worked. I kept calling my dealer time and again to look into the matter but he just kept giving me assurances to get me the device replaced. And till now nothing has happened. Now my dealer has stopped answering my calls. I am really pissed off with their behavior. I request you to look into the matter and take action.

                The devices were sold to us(around 50 students from NITIE college, Powai) through a bulk deal. All those students who bought the device are not happy with the services and network provided by TATA photon.
                No one is happy.

                Tata photon has become useless off late and doesn't work when you need it the most...
                I could not go to service center(as proposed by the customer care) because of my busy schedule. Yesterday, I again spoke to Sumit Thakkar(who claims to be the boss/manager having high powers), he told me that all my lines are clear, my CV is positive etc. But today, I came to know that my document verification is still not complete. Now, you suggest me what should i do and who should i trust? Everyday, I get to hear something new from someone. He has been postponing the issues by keeping me in dark and here i was sitting helpless. I am planning to move to consumer court if my issue is not resolved. But yes first, i will go to service center to get it checked for technical issues. It will be really pathetic if no action is taken against the dealer.

                Last time I was told that u will try to contact my dealer. Here I give you his contact number. I request you to deal with him.
                I spoke to the service center. They have told me to come with my bill which my dealer never gave me. In fact, he sold around 50 tata photon device with a discount and did not give receipt to any body. And he has not been answering my calls now. Please suggest what to do.

                Offer was as follows:
                Device cost: Rs 2000/-
                free download of 10 Gbs for 2 months.

                I really want you to take some action against him. I am mentioning the details again

                Tata Photon Plus — Device doesn't work

                I got the TATA PHOTON PLUS new prepaid connection on 5 Dec for 2,500. Number: [protected].
                Logged a complaint (PTC[protected]) on 7 Dec that it was not working. I was getting a connection terminated message on connecting; though signal strength was full. After calling the call center multiple times they finally sent a techician; who only could prove that the device worked on his laptop. He said he would transfer the case to hardware team; which never really happened and the case was unceremoniously closed. On calling today they are again asking us to recharge the connection; of all the ridiculous suggestions. Why should I be spending 1 more Re on this pathetic service? Please suggest on how do I take it forward as they have refused to take a return and give me back my money. I am completely frustrated by the Tata Photon+ Service and would not recommend it to anyone.
                hey friends dont trust anybody.think before buying anything.i was puchase tata photon whiz before7 months they told me 4 156 kbps.but its downloading speed is just13 kbps. more and more times site not open.

                now ia have bsnl sim i use 280rs plan gives 6gb limit.i use phone sony cybershot
                normal speed 30to 50 kbps.reaches to 120 kbps using downloading with IDM.

                    Dear Sir/ Madam,

                    I purchased one Tata Photon Plus device in corporate Postpaid plan @700 / 2GB HSIA and my Modem MEID No: A000001AB2EC17 MODE: HUAWEI EC 1260 Balck. The Tata Photon Number was : [protected]. I used 3-4 month of the conncetion and as I was parallay using other concetion I wanted to close the above conncetion and I placed the request for disconnecting connection and I paid up all relavant bills against the connection.

                    After two three months of disconnection I decided to take a Pre-paid connection on the same device and therefore I sent my representative to Tata Indicom True Value HUB at 35,Park Street, Kolkata, West Bengal with relevant documents, photograph for new connection. There my representative was attended by Ms. Ramanjit Kaur (Mob:[protected]) and subsequently by Mr. Arnab (Mob: [protected]). Both of them mis-guided my person and told him prepaid service not be possible to give in that modem and they installed again one Postpaid new conncetion taking Rs.100/- charges with bill plan of 250min by force.The new postpaid connection number on same device was : [protected].

                    To clear my doubt I talked once your custome care [protected] tollfree number whether the incident is true or not. But the customer care executive told me that I could easily be able to get prepaid connection on that device.I came to know that the stupid both Tata True Velue Hub persons mede us 'Bewakuf' simply to fullfill their monthly postpaid photon plus sales target. At that pont of time I wished to place request to the Customer care to close the connection as I did not want Postpaid connection any more.Your executive advised me to visit to same Tata Indicom Hub and to fill one cancellation request form over there and submit them. I visited there but nobody entertained me over there and they all are strict into their mood.Even when I told about your customer care advice, they simply said your customer care executives give worng info and they do not know anything.

                    Again I explained all the story to your Customer retaintion team person and finally placed the request to stop the connection. After 2-3days I got call from your customer support as confirmation and reason about quiting the connection. I told them I will not gona to pay any bill against new postpaid connection ([protected]) if comes because I have been treated harrashed and misguided by your person. Your Customer retaintion executive told me firmly that I need not have to pay anything for bill and within 2-3days the connection will be discontinued and after one month from disconnection day I can able to take Prepaid new conncetion in the same device. But today I have received the soft copy of ebill in my email against the number which embrased me a lot and finally I become fade up and disapointed by thinking about such a mistake of taking TATA Photon Plus service (How that get Techlite award?????!!!!!!!!!!!!!! like such service quality)

                    Today I talked to your toll free customer care and the executive said I have to pay the bill and have to wait for minimum three month more to get new pre-paid service on the device.

                    I wonder why your Indicom True Value hub/store does note offer prepaid Photon Plus service? If only post paid service is encourged them for lucrative incentive then why TTSL launced prepaid service for Aam Admi?

                    For supporting my statement plz refer all voice record calls and compints notes against the new number.

                    I would request you to wive off the blll against the number and do the needfull and get the device free to take new prepaid connection on urgent basis. Othwise I have to go finnaly to consumer court to suie against TTSL with compesation claim for my mental harashment.

                    HUAWEI EC1260 — Can not Access

                    I am sumit tyagi i have purrhase the device EC1260 with TATA PHOTON+ ,this is not working

                    Tata Photon Plus — no device & service

                    dear sir my self sushant gaikwad
                    i had purchsed a tata phton plus broadband srvice (postpaid) from hyper city mall,vashi navi mumba at dated[protected]
                    i paid all amount & required documents on the spot,
                    acording to the executive there i may b recived my device in 4 to 5 working days
                    even after 5 days also when i didnt recvd my device
                    i contact agents so many times bt they gave me only excuses,
                    even i went to the mall also sevral of time,i also mail ths complent to M.D.of the tata photon also,
                    finally i recived my device after almost after 2 week
                    bt again same problem i cant activate my service
                    as again i contact them
                    they told me to resubmit my drivin licence or
                    to mail a scan copy of my drivig licence,even after i done that
                    they replied that dat day after tomarro a person will visit at my place verify me & my address & then i can start my services
                    its almost 3 weeks i had purchsed ths service bt didnt used it even after paid al money its not worthe to me
                    so coz of ths i m mailin u

                      I have purchased a Tata Photon Plus device on 3rd Sep 2010. Tata claim that this device has the speed up to 3.1 mbps but I did not get speed beyond 10kbps - 20kbps. It is very difficult and frustrating to have this slow speed which does not even let consumers check their email. I am also having a big query about the customer care of Tata. Whenever I try to call a Tata customer care, I have to keep myself waiting for 10-20 mins just to get the call picked up. Its just like talking to Prime Minister or President of India. I have also placed a complaint regarding slow speed of just 20kbps. Tata claims that the technician will visit home within 24 hours, but it has been 5 days and I am still waiting for his visit.

                      Tata Photon Plus — Low Network Coverage

                      I have purchased a Tata Photon Plus device on 3rd Sep 2010. Tata claim that this device has the speed up to 3.1 mbps but I did not get speed beyond 20kbps. It is very difficult and frustrating to have this slow speed which does not even let consumers check their email. I am also having a big query about the customer care of Tata. Whenever I try to call a Tata customer care, I have to keep myself waiting for 10-20 mins just to get the call picked up. Its just like talking to Prime Minister or President of India. I have also placed a complaint regarding slow speed of just 20kbps. Tata claims that the technician will visit home within 24 hours, but it has been 48 hours and I am still waiting for his visit. Does Tata think about and values the customer. I suggest Tata should stop these frustrating activities by increasing the staff and fulfill the customer’s queries or believe me; customers are going to be fooling this way anymore.

                      me suffering too...the worst internet in the world (photon+), , , , , i m facing a very low download speed of 10-20kb/sec...it takes 15 hours to download a file size of 700mb...very disgusting...i have a photon+ (prepaid), which is now unlimited...they say that it has 3.1mbps of download speed...which i never get..and after the balance reaches 0...it will have 1.5mbps...but i get..10-20kbps...wow what a fcuking service...and what to say about the customer care...they just pick up the phone and try to convince customers...                       Connectivity is a major issue for me too.
                      I was just getting 1 or 2 signal towars (mostly blank signal).
                      Customer care executive, guided me to un-install the OS.
                      When I am in roaming, the same system works very well.
                      But, how come, when I come back to the place where I purchased the connection its not working.
                      OS is the same while roaming as well. I am asking the customer care executive of tata indicom...Can you justify why an Un installation of OS is required just to fix the connectivity issue? The same OS works well in different palce (where it is not corrupted), but in some other place its become corrupt. I will un-install. but can you justify me why?

                      same is the problem with me...they promised me for the speed to be 3.1mbps.but the speed is not increasing more than 10kbps.specialyy while downloading a movie...it is just pathetic...even more than that.i got the recharge of 1250...but that was just useless...because the entire month went in compalining and still nothing has been done regarding this...they aree not even ready to take the device back.the company people are not even responding to the calls properly...they themselves are not understanding about wats going on.i am feeling like throwing this tata photon+ on there face...the word is PATHETIC..because no body is ready to take the responsibility of th e same..they told me they will soon do somthing about it but it is over a month and nothing has been done...i ll suggesty everybody to never buy a photon+.

                        This is to bring to your notice that we had done online application through www.ichoose.in for tata photon mobile broadband. There was an offer with Standard Chartered Bank, if we use SCB credit or debit card then we can avail the device for 1499/-.... We had booked on 13th Aug and was informed that the device will be delivered in 3 working days. However its been 28 days but till now didnt receive the device...

                        On contacting the TATA photon co. We 1st get reply that less of staff then we get reply executive visited once and nowthey are telling they visited several times. Some tells our hosue door is RED colour / someone sayd BROWN.. Both are wrong..

                        I'm absolutely not satisfied with the resolution provided by the team, I
                        feel cheated buying the device and having to run after the company
                        officials to get it fixed.

                        I would like to clarify that I paid full amount for the device and after
                        following up for more than a month a service engineer came to my place
                        to check the device, only to find out that the device is defective. Now,
                        if your own guys have acknowledged that the device is faulty and need to
                        be replaced, why should I be made to visit your service centre to get it
                        rechecked, I paid the full amount for the device and I'm entitled to the
                        services of a completely functional product. I'm wasting my time and
                        money because of your poor standard of service and faulty product given
                        to me.

                        Its absolutely ridiculous that you close the complaint without any
                        confirmation from the complainant, if thats the way it is then why do
                        you even inform me that the complaint has been closed?

                        I want nothing more than what I'm rightfully expected to get when I pay
                        the complete price for a product or service, this is a breach of trust
                        and cheating in its ugly form.

                        Arrange for a functional photon or take it back by sending somone at my
                        home at an agreed upon time according to my convenience, that is the
                        least I would expect from a professional organization after they give me
                        a faulty device and acknowledge the same. I will not go to any service
                        centre as I made pretty clear earlier. You guys have not delivered what
                        you promised as per the sales contract, its absolutely unprofessional
                        and unethical customer dealing on your part.

                        Trust the message from above is clear, I would rather throw the photon
                        in my trash bin than waste further time on it bringing it to your
                        service center only to waste more of my time and energy.

                        I am in complete agreement with you as I faced the same problem 2 months ago. The tata photon service is the worst in the market. Dont let them eat your hard earned money and lets pledge them to teach a lesson. I know that its diffcult to sue them and waste our time but what we can do is ask our family and friends not to use tata photon connections. Load all the social networkign sites with your issues so that a real face of tata could be shown to the people.

                        Dont ever buy a tata photon connection.

                          I have been a Photon + user since last eight months. I am a student of NITIE, Mumbai and stay there only.
                          The subject service area is NITIE, Vihar Lake, Mumbai. The device had been working satisfactorily all this time.
                          But since last month, the performance of my Photon+ device has deteriorated beyond imagination. This is concurrent with the buying of nearly 40 Photon+ devices by my other friends in the hostel.
                          However, while bulk buying all my friends were promised by the Tata Sales Person that NO CONNECTIVITY ISSUES will be faced due to congestion of devices and this will be taken care of.

                          But, the connectivity, as said, is in a condition that it can take over a minute to open a google search page!!
                          These are totally pathetic service standards set by a brand like Tata.

                          Please resolve the issue urgently.

                          TATA Indicom — Worst performance

                          I had taken a connection in November, 2008, Since then till today i.e 29.5.09, I have not been able to connect any internet site even for 10 hours. However, I have been paying monthly rental charges of Rs. 526.00 totalling to Rs. 3682.00 till date. Hours after hours I try to connect any site without success due to the fact that the speed is dead slow. I have contacted their Guwahati, Hyderabad, Kolkata office many times. But till date they have not paid any interest to solve my problem. My account no. is[protected]
                          I have complained for the same many times, these customer support will do nothing, after few days they will just close the case stating that your issue has been resolved without giving any reason or anything...

                          I also use tata photon in powai near the L & T company. The speed is horrible it keeps fluctuating between 0kbps to 35-45 kbps as shown in their statics unlike what is claimed. Its so frustating sometimes I feel like throwing it away...

                          But Tata still claims that they provide lightening speed or whatever.. that is completely ...

                          I would suggest nobody to get photon...

                          Buying TATA Photon + is sheer wastage of Money . Downloading speed in day time is many time 30 KBPS . As per Tata photon advertisement the downloading speed is upto 3.1 MBPS When contacted customer care for the same they keep there fingure on word "" upto 3.1 mbps" .However they don’t hesitate to say "sorry " on any complaint . I think there sorry is complete meaning less.
                          also they can write the mail that your issue is resolved irrespective of fact that your problem is not solved or your query is not answered properly

                            I'm Tata Photon + customer from the last 7+ months. l got this connection from Delhi and now i have moved to Bangalore. Soon i will be going out of country for long time and during this period i don't want to use Tata photon +.
                            I don't even want to put my Tata Photon + number in safe custody as its chargeable (Rs 75 pm).
                            I been trying to reach at the customer care but i'm not getting complete and proper information about the same. I been also calling at the Delhi tata photon + complaint number +[protected], with no success. And worst thing is that, it is costing me the STD charge as am calling from non tata phone. This is a very poor service from you. Why there is no HELP or Guidance when the customer wants to cancel the account. And when it comes to providing new connection or for bill collection, you guys will be after customer life. I was not expecting such service from Tata, which is very reputed brand.

                            TATA INDICOM/TATA PHOTON — Request for cancellation of TATA Photon. It is taking around 3 weeks.

                            Hi, I have used TATA Photon plus broadband services. I requested for cancellation on 2-Dec-2010. But customer service said it will get disconnected. But they ended up saying it got barred on 13-Dec-2010, no input and output calls can be made and said it got completely disconnected on 21-Dec-2010. Even though I have not used services after 2-Dec-2010, they are saying, I have to pay the amount. For activation it takes only one hour and for cancellation it takes 3 weeks. Even I am not able to contact customer service through phone, it says invalid account number or phone number. I am not even able to pay the amount using internet or phone service as it says, invalid account number. I am just communicating through emails as I deputed to abroad on job purpose. What action can I take. Please advise.

                            Tata Photon+ — cancellation

                            I have got a Tata Photon+ with my new acer laptop. The dealer(FocuZ Computers, Kollam) inform me that by paying Rs750 the device will be activated and first month rent will be free. But later then i came to know that here there is no service for photon+. and i got a bill within 15 days. I payed the bill and i request to cancel the connection on 17/01/2011. But till no further actions have been taken by them and i can able to use my photon. this complaint is registering through the above mentioned tata photon device.

                            I regret my decison to go for Tata Photon card. (not one three)

                            I was using Tata photon card and no issues with the speed as this was sued for general browsing only. I misplaced my card (firsttime) and when i approached the Customer care center near by my house they suggested to go for new temporary card (cheaper one with slow speed) and keep this on Hold for three months. However i found my old card in weeks time and approached the same centre to cancel my new temporary card. also i had called up the customer care center regarding request for cancellation of new temporarily card. Please note that i never had chance to use the new card since i found my old card. however temporary card was not cancelled for unknown reasons and i was getting bills for five months and finally i had to pay five months bills to cancel my temporary card.

                            Agin I had lost my Tata Photon card and when i approached their customer center which is nearby to my house they had asked me to buy new Tata photon card and cancel the previous number. I had requested them to cancel the old card after making payment for all balance and brought new one after paying full equipment charges. My package was for 950.

                            But unfortunately the new Tata Photon equipment stopped working within one week and this was informed to customer care center as well their office near by to our house. However, when i received my bill i noticed that they had charged for entire month even thou my new card was damaged and they had acknowledged my complaint. Also another shock to see that instead of canceling my old card they had put my old card on Hold. I was informed by them that i had pay the balance payment including Hold charges to allow them to make cancellation. with no option i paid the entire bill and requested them to cancel the cards (both)

                            I had another shock after three months when one lady called me and informed me that three months Hold period is over and now from next month onwards they will start charging for entire amount. I tried in vain to explain that i had never made any request for Hold and instead requested them to cancel the service for Old card for which i have already made payments twice even thou i had not used their service and also made request for cancellation by telephone/ email and in person at their center nearby to my house.

                            In spite of my request i had received another bill including HOLD period charges plus full month charges. When i approached their customer care center on phone i was informed that unfortunately my requests for cancellation was not registered in their system and only option would be to pay the Bill amount to cancel the service. Since i have busy schedule and would not like them call my home in my absence. I opted to make payment for entire period even thou the service was not used for six months. I sent the scanned copy of payment along with request for cancellation. I received acknowledgement that my request is received and my card is canceled.

                            However now after two months, I am receiving another Bill from them. I was informed that it takes three to four days to cancel and 15 days payment had to be made after making cancellation. Now i have decided to go legally since it appears that their greed for money and also no gurantee that they will send one more bill. Trust me i have recived one more mail saying that my services are being restored thou I have not made any request.

                            Altogether, After making my first request for cancellation i would have paid more then rs 5000 as payment without using their service. this apart from making payment (35000 old card and 2700 new card)for new Photon card equipment.

                            I have great respect for Mr.Tata and this was one of the reson i use tata products, alos I had no issue with speed and would have gone for another card for my use but with my above experience with their Tata Photon cards, I decided not to go for tata product any more.

                            Conclusion : Tata Photon Hyderbad has no Business ethics.
                            Tata Photon in Hyderabad has no facility for cancellation of services. They will keep sending the bills even after cancellation and their Bill department which is filled with CRIMINALS try to collect payments even thou you have made balance payments for cancellation and they will keep sending bills/ emails/ calls as you see in news about Credit card payments collection agents.
                            Their customer care will reply with greetings but will make no effort to solve your issue and instead will leave the issue with criminals to collect the payments any possible way.

                            I used Tata Photon+ since December 18, 2010. l got this connection from Kerala and now I have moved to Bangalore.

                            I used this connection till January 27(or 28), after which Tata Photon+ suspended my Internet services saying that I had not paid the bill for 2 months, whereas I had been using the same only for 40 days.

                            Moreover, within that period when I shifted to bangalore, the Photon+ services were suspended for a further 1 or 2 days saying that it usually took this much time to activate, since the address verification was not completed. This was during December (29 or 30).

                            Above all these, I didn't even get the two bills which I was supposed to pay.

                            So I decided to cancel my connection and made the payment to Tata Photon+ on March 12, 2011(approximately). After this I phoned the Photon+ customer care multiple times and asked them to cancel my connection.
                            But whenever I contacted these Customer Care people, I was told that they would transfer my call to some manager in charge of cancellation. And always I had to wait for 3-5 mins, after which they would say that the managers number was not connecting and that they would arrange a callback the very next day. This callback never happened.

                            Now I have got a message from the Photon+ team that they have sent me my bill for my Photon+ usage (which I haven't received again!) and that I should pay the same for continued usage. I am not concerned about the continued usage part, but I haven't used the Photon+ service for almost 2 months and now they expect me to pay for that.

                            I was not expecting such service from Tata, which is a very reputed brand.

They are now saying that one can avail of Safe Custody for a maximum of 180 days during one's life time or till such time you have the modem.
                            This is the first time I am witnessing that a TATA Group is going back on its commitment.

                            ABOUT SIX MONTHS BACK I HAD CANCELLED MY SON 'SIDDHANT MIDHA's' TATA PHOTON CONNECTION NO: [protected], ACCOUNT NO:[protected]. I HAD USED THEIR ONLINE CHAT SERVICES TO CANCELL THE PHOTON CONNECTION. BUT SOON THEREAFTER I KEPT RECEIVING CALLS ON MY MOBILE No ON REGULAR BASIS FROM TATA PHOTON CUSTOMER SUPPORT DEPTT AS TO WHY WE WERE CANCELLING THEIR CONNECTION. I TOLD THAT SINCE MY SON IS NOT USING IT THEREFORE THIS CONNECTION WAS NOT REQUIRED ANYMORE AND IT IS FOR THIS REASON THAT I HAD REQUESTED FOR THE CANCELLATION OF THIS CONNECTION WITH IMMEDIATE EFFECT. THEREAFTER I STOPPED RECEIVING ANY FURTHER CALLS FROM THEM. BUT IT DID NOT STOP THERE. SINCE THE LAST COUPLE OF MONTHS I.E FROM AUG, 2014 ONWARDS THEY STARTED CALLING ON MY SONS ON HIS MOBILE NUMBER WHICH WAS REGISTERED WITH THEM. THEY HAD EVEN SENT A BILL TO OUR RESIDENCE IN GHAZIABAD WITH A CLAIM AMOUNT FOR Rs.1684/-.                             I'm Tata Photon + customer from the last 4+ months. l got this connection from Kolkata and now i have moved to Gangtok. Soon I will be going out of country for long time and during this period i don't want to use Tata photon +.
                            I don't even want to put my Tata Photon + number in safe custody as its chargeable (Rs 75 pm).

                              With Deep Grief and Painful Heart I am bound to write such letter to you. I am a user of Photon USB Internet of your reputed brand.

                              I have a TATA Indicom Photon connection number [protected].
                              My Customer Account Number Id:[protected].
                              Internet conection under the tariff plan HNI HSIA USB 1100 MB Plan.

                              1-CONNECTION SPEED SLOW:-
                              Initially tata photon data card was giving a download speed upto 50-60 kbs/sec. Now service is poor my photon data card acess download speed 25-30 kbps/sec, very low. Tata indicom broad band in spite of having one of the most ethical parent has taken consumers for ride Why the connection spedd got very slow ?

                              2- IRREGULAR BILLING MAIN PROBLEM:-
                              Since last three months I have not received the bill, email ,mail alert for bill. Ihave requested to send my bills through my Email ID [protected]@gmail.com. But the shameful aspect of such a reputed company that nomail of bill has been received till today. Repetadly contact to dealer replied the it will updated in next billing cycle, delay was due to server or head office problems.

                              3-DENIED ACESS PHOTON CONNECTION IN OTHER DISTRICT OF SAME STATE-:
                              Tata indicom broad band in spite of having one of the most ethical parent has taken consumers for ride .When I took connection, I was told that Tata indicom would be available anywhere. On accessing at Udaipur (RAJASTHAN) same photon data card denie to acess internet,

                              4-NO PLAN CHANGED SINCE THREE MONTHS LAPSED :-
                              I gave the request to change my plan HNI HSIA USB 1100 MB Plan to HNI HSIA USB 1500 MB Plan since three months back but still no change recived till today. Again I contacted your dealer center they replied the it will change in next billing cycle. After all I rquest your dealer not to change my plan. Continue my existing Plan

                              If such services continue that means company compel us to surrender Ttata Services . Requested you to kindly look into the matter so that others don’t get humiliated from reputated TATA SERVices.

                                dear sir

                                problem is that my photon plus device is not working since 3rd august 2010 since than i have booked 7 complaints but neither any executive or engineer come to my house to see the problem nor my device is changed. this device has one year warranty. i also went to tata office in vaishali sec- 4, sahibabad but they said till any engineer will not give in writing this divice is not working they will not do any thing. i have mailed to their nodal officer and Appelette Authority but i did not get any thing just a computer generated reply that ' they will resolve issue in 5 days' but nothing happend till date.

                                now i am fed up with this tata photon plus, i want to pur a complaint against them in consumer forum and want to get my money back.

                                please do the needful.

                                  I have lost my photon plus instrument in Jan 2010. I disconnected my service due to the same reason. And cleared all the dues till Feb-2010. Even though I disconnected I keep receiving calls from Tata Indicom Billing agents every day and asking for due in subsequent months. Each time I explain them few representatives say they will verify and come back, others talk rudely. Not sure want need to done to stop this annoying calls from Tata.

                                    Its almost a week that my problem is to be solved and I get a bomb of a mail. Now the time is 4.15pm and @ 4.11pm your executive gives me a call and asks for an appointment.

                                    Can you tell if you have any details about my problem getting solved. Its been one of the worst customer care I have ever seen in my life. This is clear case of cheating now I have all the proof that my issue is not resolved I will very much will go to the consumer court and don’t think I am just like that telling you . I represent one of the biggest NGO’s in Chennai.

                                    I am also trying to get your head’s number along with Mr. Ratan Tata and telling him how can irresponsible people and executives spoils the companies name.

                                    Dear sir,
                                    This is to put into your notice that I have purchased Tata photon Device from Croma,Crown Interorz Mall,Faridabad with the following Acc No[protected] and the No. for the device is [protected] on this regards I had asked for a plan named Tata Photon Plus Day & Night Plan priced at Rs 950/- and includes 3600 min during the day and 5400 min at night instead of this I have been given a plan which says 2GB usage in the afternoon and 10 GB usage at night.I have been using my device according to the plan that i had opted for and my current usage has exceeded over 19GB of which i was not even aware and my net connection has been disconnected without prior information.I am putting the same mail on TRAI(Telecom Regulatory Authority Of India) as well lets just wait and watch what do they have to do or say in this regards And Tell me something why would I opt for such a connection which is not even available in the brochure provided by Tata Photon Plus guys that’s common sence.I am really very much exhausted and my pockets is not going to allow spending Rs 4000/- over a net connection.This is a clear case of fraud from Tata’s Side.
                                    Plz do the needful on urgent basis as I can not stand it any more.

                                      I am purchasing tata photon plus conneetion(no:[protected]) on 28/04/2010 from that day i am harresd by that company because many times they doing blocked my connection they give me wrong bill and i am tata photon plus usb data card for high speep they on detail that its speep is 3.1mbps but i am not getting more than 200kbps speed from begining to now.for that i am doing many complaints to them but nobody clear my problem now my connection is blocked from last one month .i am getting lose in share trading due to that.

                                        I purchased a Tata Photon Plus Broadband on[protected] but it is not working properly after starting 5 to 10 minutes it shows "Can not find Server" many complaints have been made but no action has been taken by the Tata Photon + mobile broadband Service. Only call received for a visiting but no service engineer visited, you are requested to rectify the problem or replce/return the Data Card
