Hello,
I had booked a cab on 27-May-2015 using the Taxi for Sure (TFS) on-line facility. Details of the booking and confirmation are given below.

After the cab and driver details were received by me, I called the driver’s cell phone number at 04:43AM on 28-May-2015, to confirm and ensure his arrival on time. The driver informed me that he would not be coming and that another cab had been arranged. And this just 10 minutes after receiving confirmed details of the cab. No message regarding the change of driver or cab was received by me.
I immediately called up the TFS customer care no.[protected] at 04:44AM. The TFS representative informed me that he would immediately send me the update message.
I was expecting an update of the new cab number and driver contact details. Instead the update SMS received at 04:45AM on 28-May-2015 stated that the cab may be late. The message did not mention how late or details of any other cab. I got worried when I saw that the message contained an option to cancel the booking.
Upset by the casual tone of the message, I again immediately called up the TFS customer care at 04:46AM. I was shocked and dismayed when I was informed that no cab would be arranged. This last minute failure to provide a cab really put me and my mother under terrible stress. I am a kidney transplant patient and my mother is 80+ years old. I had only a few minutes to arrange for another transport at 5:00AM!
This callous and irresponsible attitude and deplorable quality of service towards the customer is just not acceptable. I am not even going into the facts about the difficulty, tension and stress my mother and I experienced trying to reach the city railway station on time.
The TFS service provider:
- failed to provide a cab despite a confirmed booking
- cab was not available minutes after confirming the cab number and driver contact details
- failed to update me till the last minute and that too, only after I called up the customer care
- failed to verify and ensure from his end regarding availability of cab and driver before informing the customer
- has a callous and irresponsible attitude and approach
- deserves to be reprimanded or penalized for failure in promised ‘Quality of Service’ by the Consumer forum and / or Licensing Authority
