I have made a full online payment towards starting a six month subscription of The Hindu newspaper starting from 01 Jan 2017. It is 07 Jan and so far not a single newspaper has been delivered. I have been calling the customer "care" number every day and they have been most unhelpful because they simply ask you to "trust them" or "it will be resolved asap". I want them to refund my entire amount because they are clearly incapable of delivering the product. I warn all future customers also.. much better to start delivery from the local retailer rather than to go via their website.

    My subscription No is [protected] ..I have not received the Tamil daily for two days .While complaining to your sales officer Mr.S.Sreekanth, he ask me to SMS my address and later he not even attend our calls .You sent me a letter to renewal of the subscription and in this regard too we called them and Message to him and results nothing.

    i didn't expect this much careless response from your end, being a very big esteemed concern like you .
    Please note that i am regularly purchasing Hindu English for the past 30 Years.Believing that only i like to subscribe Tamil Hindu.

    Hope you took this matter seriously and expect your valuable reply in this regard.

      Sub id:[protected] hindu subscription id:w 2016 11 27 es sub 0029. Not receiving hindu tamil daily news paper since[protected]. Srirangam distibutor says he has not received any instruction from your side. Whatever may be the reason, do instruct the concerned immediately for the timely delivery without any further delay. Hope you will avoid such recurrence in future.

        I have made online payment of Rs 549 on[protected] for THE HINDU newspaper one-year subscription (No. [protected]) (New thippasandra, bangalore).
        Till date I have not been receiving the paper and I have rang up the HINDU Toll-free number[protected] multiple times complaining the same, but all went in vain. I have also been ringing up the representatives in the Bangalore office and they asked to drop a message with the subscriber details and my address which I did but I see no action been taken yet to resolve. This is highly unethical. Hindu your going to loose your credibility.

          My association with the hindu newspaper spans 40years and this is the reward i receive from such prestigious institution.

          The editors (Mr. Ram) please wake up before things go out of control.

            I have made online payment of Rs 749 on[protected] for THE HINDU newspaper one-year subscription (No. [protected]) from[protected] till[protected]AG Colony, Yousufguda, Hyderabad).
            Till date I have not been receiving the paper and I have rang up the HINDU Toll-free number[protected] multiple times complaining the same (one of the registered complaints NO. 126532) but all went in vain. I have also been ringing up the representatives in the Hyderabad office and they asked to drop a message with the subscriber details and my address which I did but I see no action been taken yet to resolve the issue. I got vexed to follow up with the officials in the Hyderabad office and dialing toll-free number and reminding the issue.
            Could this issue be looked into and resolved at the earliest possible.

                  I have booked complaint to hindu customer service on the above subject. Complaint is lodged on 19.12.2016 and the complaint no is 131322. No body spoke to me on the status of the complaint so far from the hindu side!!! And again 20.12.2016 & 21.12.2016 there is no delivery of both the news paper.

                  For the same issue, i have registered a similar complaint a month before. It seems, the hindu is happy with the service level as my money is with them!

                  Will i be getting compensated for the loss? Please help.

                    Complaint Number 130339. Its been more than a month since i paid the subscription for the daily newspaper "The Hindu". I was supposed to get paper from 15-Dec-16. I have been trying to reach them, escalated, called them, mailed them many times and its almost 7 days i haven't got the paper nor the refund is initiated. The customer care executive always says that they will get back to me in 24 hours and never gives update. Every time they say they will call back and never does. For any question like whats your name to wish greetings to the customer executive...the answer is we understand your problem sir, we will get back to you in 24 hours...man...i couldn't stop laughing. I have mail proof's for the same with the executive names. Worst is that they say please mail us and get the complain registered. I reply saying that i did i got the complain number and its not resolved and that's why i have been calling, the response is, please mail...same mail id repeated and ..we will get back to you in 24 hours and phone is slammed on the face. I tried asking for any of their manager to escalate the issue, and every time i hear that they are in meeting, wondering when they will work then. Have made more than 40 calls and not an update till now. Regret subscribing to The Hindu.

                      This is to inform you that i have subscribed for your magazine in the name of Mr. Lalit Mohan Agarwal from C.L. Agarwal and Sons, Bara Bazar, Aligarh, Uttar Pradesh in the month of august this year .I am not getting the magazine from one and half a month.I have got my last edition on 11November2016.
                      This is my heartiest request from you to please look into the matter and apprise me of the progress made in the issue.

                        I had subscribed for the Frontline magazine more than two months back. I was entitled to receive the first copy on November 12th, 2016. But, I haven't received it till now. When I called to the customer care toll free number, the told that they registered the complaint. The complaint number is 125948. Later, they advised me to check with the local post office. I've checked but I didn't get it. When I called the customer care number again, they gave me another number that is exclusively for Frontline. But, that number is not reachable at any time. So, please see to a solution for my problem or refund the amount if you fail to do so. Else, I'm ready to take any legal action towards this.

                          My complaint on the subject dated[protected] may please be connected. I am not in receipt of the paper for the third consecutive day. Prior to 16th, I used to purchase the paper on daily basis. After subscribing for the half-yearly supply, anticipating its delivery from 16th instant as notified by the company, I have dispensed with its purchase since then. Now, I am neither supplied the paper nor in a position to revive the earlier exercise. Had the Company contacted me on 16th as intimated through SMS, I would have been in a position to communicate the problem. At least now, please initiate action to ensure the delivery of the paper from tomorrow the 17th of December, without subjecting me to the inconvenience of complaining time and again.                                     This is in reference to the non delivery of hindu young world print (jr.) & hindu in school (e-paper) sr. ordered on 12th october 2016, hindu reference id w20161012ywcl0008. i have not recieved a single print edition or any e - paper. it is really surprising to not have recieved any of the two newspapers as i had ordered for a combo pack. also it is disheartening for my children who have been eagerly waiting for the same. this is to request you to look into the matter urgently and do the needful.

                                      Cheque of icici bank given on 24aug2016, to marketing person and collect receipt no184028

                                      Till today (15dec2016) they not even deliver single copy of news paper,
                                      They looted money by using name of the hindu.

                                      I called to[protected] on 1dec2016 & finally come to decision they refunding my money (Mr s chandrasekar - team leader) reply via email.

                                      But till today 15dec2016 i not received single rupees then again i called to above number and talk with mr s chandrasekaer, they reply me to wait till 3weeks for refund process from accounts departments

                                      Please suggest me should i take legal act or wait for more three weeks

                                        I have subscribed for the hindu newspaper for one year from 1st of nov 2016 from the beginning i was not receiving newspaper regularly i had complained about the matter and i have been assured that it will be resolved in very few days but it's been more than 2 days but i did not get any resolution from them. Not even any response from the hindu.
                                        Now my vender is not at all delivering it for 15 days i don't know whether he does not receive from the hindu or he gets but sell it to someone else.
                                        Its's irritating when you have paid for what you are not getting.
                                        There is no one to take care of the customers query.
