India Complaints - No cash withdrawal, But Account debited
by Rs.10, 000/- Account No.[protected] was debited
by same amount. ATM Card No.[protected]

I have used my DEBIT Card / ATM Card No.[protected] o[censored]nion
Bank of India, Burdwan Police Line Branch, Bank ATM situated at Burdwan Police Line Branch, on 20.01.2017 at10:09 am for withdrawal of Rs.10, 000/- Unfortunately, No cash delivered by ATM, but my Account No.[protected] was debited by same amount.

Kindly credit my above mentioned A/c. urgently & oblige.

Sir im from chiplun. I have UBI account in Palshet, Guhagar. I loose 7000 from my account at 29th of december. I already give the apllication for request of refund. But there is nothing responce from the branch. Take a proper action althougt i will go to police for the help.

This certificate 1 april2016 to 31 March 2017 submit to company for incom tex proof for 6 Feb2017.

Pl take necessary actio.

i do the phone to BM but BM was wrong vihevior.

    I have also mailed to Union Bank of India mob banking team. They revert me after a week and asked for my a/c no. and transaction date again. Till now i didn't get my money back in my account. I am a common man and i was thinking that nationalize banks are good compare to private banks. I feel i am cheated. Kindly do the needful.

        विषय: बैंक खाते से अवैध रूप से पैसे निकाले जाने की रिपोर्ट किए जाने संबंधी।

        मैं आपके बैंक की साउथ एक्स, दिल्ली शाखा में खाता धारक (बचत खाता) हूँ। मेरे बचत खाते की खाता संख्या [protected] है।

        मैं दिनांक 22.01.2017 की रात्रि को पैसे निकालने हेतु ICICI बैंक की ग्रीन पार्क शाखा के एटीएम पर गया तो मुझे ज्ञात हुआ की मेरे खाते में रु. 18, 000 (अट्ठारह हजार रुपए) कम हैं।

        जब मैंने पता किया तो पता चला कि दिनांक 22.01.2017 को मेरे खाते से वोडाफ़ोन M-Paisa/मुंबई के जरिए रु. 18, 000निकाले गए है (आपकी शाखा से निकाले गए संगत पृष्ठ कि प्रति संलग्न की गई है) जबकि इस तरह का कोई भी transaction मेरे द्वारा कभी भी नहीं किया गया है।

        उक्त गलत transaction द्वारा काटा गया मेरा पैसा मेरे खाते में वापिस किए जाने का कष्ट करें। आपकी अति कृपा होगी।

          With reference to the above, my account has been debited by Rs.2000/- on 08.01.17 for failure transaction of withdrawal Rs.2000/- by using AXIS bank ATM at 3rd mile, Tuticorin. In this regard I submitted complaint form on 09.01.17 and subsequently mailed the same on 19.01.17 to the branch and also forwarded the same to the follosing ids on 25.01.17.

            We, s d girls higher secondary school, sri ganganagar had various fixed deposits with your sri ganganagar branch and getting interest on it. The branch had not deducted any tds out of interest in the f.Y. 2008-09, 2009-10 and we had also not submitted any form 15h to the branch. Now the income tax department had created demand against bank for non deduction of tds for these years. If we had given form 15h for non deduction of tds then the same may be submitted to the income tax department at the time of creation of demand by the bank. Now the demand had been created against bank and we are no where at default but ready to cooperate but the bank had deducted the amount of demand from the proceeds of our fdr which is illegal and we are bound to approach you for justification.

                On[protected] i have given my car loan files to mallilatta union branch, they very next day they will do the sanction, next day file has sanctioned they informed us, they did my house inspection also, next day when i went for documentation, they are telling for deviation it will take time, while giving file informed them if it is not possible, please inform next day only, but they said file has sanctioned. tell the yours branch manager how to behave with the customers. if he couldn't do the file, he could have informed me next day only, why did he took 3 days for tell, and he said file is has sanctioned also.

                  I am student of Kendriya Vidyalaya and our fees is submitted through online procedure our fees are submitted quarterly in year. For the fees submission of January there is no intimation is given by the bank via message and rupees 170 is imposed on my fees as fine for not submitting the January fees saying that you are submitting your fees late. And when I speak to the bank about the matter regarding the intimation then Bank says that it's the fault of telephone companies not us. And I get no satisfaction answer. They says that these are small errors which mainly occurs. Then I asked them who will bear this fine then they says that you have to borne that charges.

                    My name is N. C. Thomas. I am one of the dealers of indian oil corporation ltd operating an outlet near to the union bank kothamangalam branch. I approached union bank kothamangalam branch for opening a new account.
                    But from the bank officials i receive a irresponisble approach result in unnecessary dragging and postponing day by day for opening an account. I am already having with almost all bank branches operating at kothamangalam.
                    Only due to the nearness to my outlet i prefer union bank, kothamangalam branch for an account in the name of My firm, M/S Kothamangalam Auto Fuels.
                    Pls take this matter as a serious concern and instruct the branch manager to do the needful at the earliest.

                      Hi,

                      My debit card is expiring today. I got a msg on 20th that my new card is being dispatched to the branch. On contacting the branch, they ask me to come and collect the same. I had visited the branch yesterday only to find it out that the card has no yet come and they will inform once it does. If I want them to issue a new card, I need to get it done from the call center. Now getting through the call center is another herculian task and after many trial I could reach and agent. Before the agent could give a resolution, the call got disconnected and even after repeated tried, my call could not get through the agent. After pressing all the options of IVR, the call was getting disconnected. Would this forum help in taking my concerns with the right person/channel?

                        Two new branches Thakurpukur & Belgachia are supposed to be opening soon under Union bank of India Kolkata region. But sadly all the norms and regulations of RBI & CVC have been intentionally flouted to accommodate a selected group of vendors. The entire activity of tendering for selection of various vendors and contractors(Electrical, Civil, Furnishing, Premises etc )has been made an eyewash to safeguard interests of Sri Chittaranjan Patra of Kolkata Regional Office.

                        The same set of vendors has been repeatedly engaged over the last couple of years for branch opening purpose and other works. CVC guidelines are never adhered to. Advertisements are published in the least circulated newspapers and required time frame for participation is not offered to the vendors. Sri C R Patra cleverly creates a situation of eleventh hour urgency to bypass CVC guidelines and employ his favored contractors. Honest officials of the bank are harassed to safeguard vested interests of Sri Patra. Even premises are selected in an adhoc manner with minimal publicity. It’s a frequent experience to see Sri Patra asking NPA borrowers of the bank for various favors(Laptop, mobile set, Ipad etc) in return for concessions in settlement.

                        Veracity of the allegations can be easily verified by any investigating agency. The relevant papers regarding selection of premises and vendors for the recently opened branches(eg Belghoria, Ichapur, New Town, Jadavpur etc) are to be scrutinized for revealing the wrongdoings. After inauguration Mr Patra is not concerned about the wellbeing of these branches or its customers. Several months have passed but adequate number of staff has not been posted to serve the account holders of these new branches. HR portal Union Parivaar can be quickly checked for this.

                        A very bad example is being set in the banking industry by Kolkata office o[censored]nion Bank of India. This trend of false urgency to circumvent CVC guidelines has to be thwarted and if required RBI licenses for new branches can be renewed. So immediately take measures to investigate and rectify the wrong doings in the process of branch opening at Thakurpukur & Belgachia. Also ensure that RBI & CVC guidelines are strictly adhered to in the process and punitive measures are taken against the deviants. Due emphasis is to be given for the proper functioning of the newly opened branches rather than opening new branches to serve vested interests of a few individuals.

                          Dear Madam,
                          We have applied for 7nos. cheque book on 23rd December 2017 but we have received only one after one month. After many requests and submission of account opening form, your Gurgaon Main Branch has not open the salary account of our employees from last three months. We have not any single cheque to give against our employees salary from last one month.
                          On dated 16/1/2017, we have given another request for cheque books, but still we have not received the same.

                          We have not given salary of our some employees due to non availability of cheque books. We have cc account with this branch from more than eight years, we have never seen this type of very poor services. Pls do the needful on priority so that the things can be normal.

                          We have given more then 50 account opening form verified by your staff before 20-25 days, but still it is pending. We have not received cheque book and our employees salary account is also not opened by your branch. We are facing so many problems from your branch. Pls do the needful at the earliest.

                                On 15 december, 2016 at around 12.30 in night while withdrawing Rs.1500 cash from UNITED BANK OF INDIA ATM the aforesaid amount got deducted from the account but cash was not dispensed by the atm machine and amount got deducted from my account. I complained the customer care but after two days they give the reply that i must complaint in Nanded branch and i did the same but still no action has been taken.
                                I am a responsible central government employee in the M/o Health & family welfare that is why i took it as my responsibility to complain online further so that the matter can be resolve as soon as possible.i am attaching the snapshot of that transaction to trace it further.

                                  Dear Sir,
                                  My salary account opened in Union bank by company. Due to i changed the company I had to transfer my account from vasna ahmedabad branch to Bhairavnath Road, Maninagar, Ahmedabad branch in 2013. Suddenly I one another account number reflected on my account in Net Banking. So I went to branch and asked about it and i got answered that no worry your main account working perfectly so no any problems. But today I went to bank for renew my debit card and person said for which account you want to renew debit card and I said that i have only one account. Person said no their is 2 accounts and one account is dormant and you have to pay charge to close this account where it is I didn't open any account and i just transferred my account fron one branch to another branch then why i have to pay for this.

                                    To whosoever it may concern

                                    Let me start with a sorry, I'm one of your normal customer in UBI at Poojappura Br, in Trivandrum. With the recent posting of a lady branch manager in the aforementioned area, who is not at all interested in attending to customers and keeping doors closed with no light and AC, I approached her few time and always without any questions, she redirects to the counter.
                                    It's to be noted that the lady is always on mobile or in sometimes in computer.
                                    I have been your customer for quite sometime and have seen the behaviour and attitude of the earlier managers, which were of great help.
                                    If you are posting these attitudes to these type of branches, very soon you can notice the decline in accounts. Two years back at Poojappura Indian bank has opened and can notice the increase in customer.
                                    If you have any investigation team, kindly without informing the branch, watch for few days and will come to know the truth.
                                    Another man posted in that branch (who is hesitant to disclose his name) from some part o[censored]P openly told to an old man, which I overheard is "I don't talk or understand your language & if he wants talk in Hindi".
                                    Anyway gaining goodwill and a customer is very difficult.

                                      I (Anandkumar Krishnanand Tiwari) would like to inform you that I have education loan in your branch and my education loan A/C No. is [protected].

                                      I would like to draw your kind attention towards my education loan account which has been marked as NPA since last 8 months even after paying EMI regularly in advance & i have been chasing the bank from last 8 month to correct the mistake they did and upgrade it to normal account but i am not getting any fruitful response from branch.

                                      firstly the bank has pulled me for NPA mistakenly even after paying the regular EMI in advance and after this bank is not correcting their mistake. i am regularly calling the bank and personally met jay kumar singh several times for this issue (branch manager kandivali Mumbai branch) to upgrade my account to normal firstly he has promised to do it as soon as possible and later he denied to do this and said this is getting delayed by regional office and he cant help me out here.

                                      it is not the first issue i am facing with this branch before this i was chasing the bank since last 6 years and they haven't provided me the interest subsidy yet. i complaint for this at union bank complaint site and finally last month jay kumar singh has told me that he has requested for my interest subsidy.

                                      I asked about my interest certificate for last financial year for tax exemption but they are not providing me the certificate because my account is NPA and they can only provide me after it upgrades to normal.

                                      still i am paying my EMI regularly but still i didn't understand why this bank is behind me like that . please take some action and provide me interest subsidy, upgrade my account to normal account from NPA & provide me interest certificate for last financial year before 31st of January(last date of proof submission in my company) and also i need a written letter for this.

                                      could you please do the needful?

                                        I sent them a mail to send my Home loan Interest certificate. They did not even care to respond. Other problems
                                        1. Extremely difficult to reach the bank
                                        2. Even if one manages to contact one, resolution will take ages.

                                        The bank still expects customers to visit their branches( in fact just the home branches), stand in queue and request the bank staff to listen to their problems while other counterparts have moved away from that mentality.

                                        The concept of 'Relationship Management' is alien to them. So much so that they called me only when during audit it was found that I had not paid EMI for the last 3 months. They did not bother to even check if borrowers are paying the EMIs properly, forget about solving customer's problems.
                                        Union Bank of India customer support has been notified about the posted complaint.
