We had invested in us-64 scheme o[censored]ti. We were supposed to get a cheque of rs. 15000

however, according to the company they posted a cheque to our address but it DID not reach us, hence we applied for a duplicate cheque.

But in spite of the numerous inquiries after that and complaining again and again they are not issuing the cheque and always say that the issue is "in progress" for the past many months.

I have received a pan card no. ALFPN9307B with my signature invisible due to ink smudge. On enquiring UTITSL/Chennai , I was told that my application was processed properly and it is not their mistake and I should apply for a new card with the requisite fees. My application was proper without any ink smudges on it. Why whould I face this mental agony and pay for another card when they should have given me a proper card in the first place? I tried to lodge a complaint through their email utitsl.[protected]@utitsl.co.in and the mail did not get through on both occassions!

Please help me with the next course of action

Please see below mail chain to follow up on status of Pan card. I haven't received my pan card yet which I applied on 12th July 2010.

On July 27, 2010 UTITSL dispatched PAN CARD to communication address as mentioned in the application which is still not delivered. Even the UTITSL website mentions pan card status as NOT delivered yet.

UTITSL is not able to resolve the issue after sending so many follow up mails. Also written complaint is submitted in UTITSL office at Indore.

This is height of testing a citizen's patience. Please guide us where should I seek help.

I have already checked the same but they say they don't have any status and directed me to check from UTITSL.

Since the card was dispatched by UTITSL using speed post, is UTITSL is not responsible to help a citizen in identifying the status.

This is strange that a pan card dispatched by you has not been delivered to me and still you don't check with postal authorities and directing me there.

I request you to check the status and get back as soon as possible.

You tell me where is my fault. I paid money to UTITSL and expecting help from UTITSL.
