West Bengal State Electricity Distribution Company [WBSEDCL] Complaints & Reviews

In front of my shop, the electric board department has started transformer installation. I would like to object to this installation as it will cover my shop and also it will be very dangerous for customers as it's just in front of my shop.

I am currently outside of India and shops are not open but it will open soon. Already one transformer on the pole is present in front of my shop but now as a part o[censored]nderground work, the department is installing another transformer which will cover my shop completely. With this installation my shop will no longer be usable for business or any other purposes.

I have attached a picture in this mail for your reference. It's a kind request to move this installation from my shop's front space.

I have no electricity from yesterday, I have complaint so many time but the workers closed it as resolve my complaint, but they are not solved it even they did not contact with me.

In our area hamiltonganj Near Bandhan Bank, hamiltonganj natun bazaar area everyday single phasing no power problem . everyday vidyut sahayogi app complaint system I complaint but problems solv only one day.This problems everyday routine in our area.Please solv this problem permanently for better customer service provide.

I am surprised and quite shocked to receive the electricity bill amounting Rs. 1696 against electricity consumption for the last three months (May – July, 2022) at my residence. I have not stayed in the said address for the last two years. Needless to say there has been some anomaly. The same thing happened in 2020 and 2021. But then, I could not approach your office due to the ongoing pandemic and some mishaps in the family as well as extended family. I presumed that there was error which would be subsequently adjusted. But bills amounting to more than Rs.550/- per month continuously is highly exaggerated.

I would be obliged if you could settle this matter in accordance with the provisions to the satisfaction of your customer. Please rectify this mistake so that I can pay the actual amount.

Hi Sir,

We are suffering no electricity from paste 6 hours. We always face same issue intermittent.

From 11 30 am till now the low voltage problem is not solved

Our cable is getting demanged day by day as our neighbours tress are hanging dangerously over our cable connection.In previous 5 years We have to change the cable 3 times due to tress branch.We have already requested them to cut the trees but the owner of the tress denied to cut the trees.If the tress are not cutted any time accident will be happen.Threfore plz consider my appeal and take necessary action to cut the trees it will be very helpful for us

I've paid the electricity bill through Google Pay using the QR code which was given in the bill. The amount was paid on 06th May 2022. But still it is not reflecting in the download payment receipt area in wbsedcl site. Please look into the matter as soon as possible. Attaching the screenshot of my payment as a proof. I also didn't get any message after completing my payment. Consumer ID:[protected].

I beg to state that my house is at 29/21, Vidyasagar Sarani, p.o. Barisha, Kolkata:700008. The branches of tree of my house is lying on eletric wire connected to my house from light post. Any time it can damage the electric wire.
Also, my neighbors are complaining and harassing us everyday for cutting those branches.

So, it is requested to take action from your end to cut the branches of tree.

I contact both Phonepay and WBSEDCL to launch Complain but no one solves the problem. closed

On 15th July, 2022 I paid amount through google pay qr code (qr code is on the electric bill provided by wbsedcl officer after checking metre) Rs 1466 to WBSEDCL for the electric bill of Consumer Apratim Tosh, consumer id[protected]. Amount is debited from my SBI account [protected] but WBSEDCL site says payment is failure, so receipt is not being generated. Please look into this matter, refund the amount urgently

I have made a payment of Rs 299/- via Google Payusing Bharat QR (Electricity bill) to WBSEDCL (billdeskbqr.[protected]@hdfcbank) for the month of April 22 to June 22, against the consumer Id[[protected]] on 01.04.2022, but WBSEDCL has not yet received the payment, although the amount Rs 290/- has been debited from my account on 01.04.2022.

I had paid my WBSEDCL bill on 7.07.2022 through google pay by scanning the QR code printed on the bill and the money was successfully debited from my account but there was no confirmation given.
The website says that the bill is still unpaid.
I would like you to investigate into the matter and ensure that the refund is generated at the earliest possible.
