Prepaid Balance theft By Airtel by automatically activating AL friends chat service

I have bought 3G usb modem from a shop. I have invested Rs. 1908/- For 3G modem & around 109 for Activation. I want to know that who gives the right to the telecom companies to forward any customers personal details to any other stupid companies who starts disturbing us 24 hours by sending "SMS" and VOICE CALLS. I am not sure this is just my observation...this is my 8th complaint in a row in just 3 months after porting my number. I recharged and no benefit credited.
