unaffordable prices in pvr

It is really sad that, pvr is making common people to buy a 500 ml water bottle for inr 60.
Popcorn and other snacks prices are like reached sky already.
I don't understand what is logic behind such a hike in prices and where that looted money goes.
People are scared to watch movies also in theatres because of food courts. Stop looting in the name of entertainment. Shame on your greedy business tactics pvr....

I went to the pvr icon theatre at vr mall in chennai. To see the checks chivantha vaanam movie. Especially for a r raman music i went to see that movie. But total disappointment volume is very low in this theatre. If they did not even increase after 1 month also people who love sound effects please don't go to this theatre. It's no value for money. carrying food in the theatre

Went to a pvr icon movie (Andhadhun) yesterday (10 october 2018) at versova, andheri west. Was asked to put all the food items in a bag and keep it outside at the counter.

When asked about the new ruling of the court which allows the food to be carried, the reply i got was that they will not allow the food to be carried in.

Please look into the issue since it is not the first time i have faced this issue at...

orion mall pvr is changing 420 rupees for large popcorn in bangalore

The movie charge is rupees 120 to 150 rupees and they charge one large popcorn 420 rupees. Lodge a complain and file the case on them in pvr orion mall bangalore and vaishnavi sapphire mall pvr and mantri mall. Ticket price is 200 snacks are not allowed from outside why is it this rule is it school or college. Why do we need to purchase the food inside. No food is less than 400....

pvr making consumers compulsory to buy combo with tickets

Today i went to buy tickets from pvr box office in kota. The ticket cost was around rupees but the person asked me for more money as he said that it is compulsory to buy a food combo worth 200 rupees. When i said i dont want to buy it he said that it is compulsory to buy the combo.
Thus pvr are making consumers to buy services that consumers do not want and are earning money from unfair means. Government should take strict action...

rescheduling tickets

theatre hall seats uncomfortable

I had booked 2 movie tickets online for the movie raid, show timing 1055am, 18.03.2018, seat no m9, m10, audi 03. Booking id wjdwrst. Pvr phoenix, lucknow.
I had booked prime tickets for comfort and a pleasant movie time. But to my surprise the seats used to give jerk whenever a person sitting on that row seat used to move. Moreover the upholstery on seats were damp smelling.

It spoilt my day and had a very unpleasant...

Malpractice in selling movie tickets

The book my show app had the advance booking option in PVR PANVEL, for 10:15 show but did not have that option when i went to buy it personally!! The app is charging me 25 rupees extra which for 4 ticketa became 100 rupees. I thought of saving it and found it i was wrong!!. They are doing it on purpose!! What should i do and where should i complain about such malpractise....

Hi,

What is happening in cinema hall. Apart from prices of movie and parking being exorbitant, what was too shocking and alarming was the cost of popcorn. Popcorn being charged at 100, 200 and 300 rupees.

The actual cost of these pack of popcorn shd be not more than 5 rupees. Even after considering the various other costs involved, they can charge at 20 rupees, or 30 rupees, but y more than 300% of the cost....

Hi,

I got a PVR gift card from my employer and I tried to book 2 movie tickets at http://www.pvrcinemas.com. The balance of Rs 500 was deducted from my gift card and there was a message 'BOOKING FAILURE'. I made this transaction on 30-May-2013 (as I remember).

The total amount to be paid was around Rs 577 out of which Rs 500 was adjusted with the Gift Card and remaining balance of Rs 77 had to be paid...

I have booked online ticket (thru PVR official site)of "jab tak hai jaan' for 15th nov, 14:20 show(5 tickets) at MBD Mall,Jalandhar and I have used my Hdfc netbanking for the same.Though Rs 987 have been debited from my a/c yet I have not received any confirmation of my tickets.

PVR services are pathetic period , In mumbai there is no customer care number. The number given is a dummy , nobody picks it up and we the customer get picked for 340 bucks with no web confirmation of seats or movie details but the money is deducted, why? because a reputed theatre company like PVR can't afford customer care. Quite funny for a 250 crore company. Atleast if you guys have some pride and dignity at PVR refund the money atleast...

I made an online booking on pvrcinemas.com and the payment was deducted from my internet banking for Rs. 467/- but the pvr web site did not complete the transaction - it straight away took me to the home page after accepting the payment. The booking does not show in my account on their site either.

Rude behavior of manager and mismanagement

Last Sunday we went to Juhu PVR for Don 2 3D movie. We were a group of 8 and as we entered all o[censored]s were given a 3D glass each. However, a friend of mine came late and he was not given 3D glasses by the staff...and he just rushed inside. The 3d glasses were so pathetic that all o[censored]s saw the movie without 3D glasses. after the movie the staff would not let my friend go out unless he submitted the 3D glass. But how on earth could he return...

PVR Website detects extra tickets automatically

Hi PVR has a very very poor website which give wrong result sometimes. I tried to book only two tickets, it took 520 rupees and also i selected only two seats, but your dirty site booked ticket for 10 tickets and took 2600 rupees. Don't even know how did it happen. The remaining 8 seats it detected automatically, it is really very very pathetic. Can you give me the solution for this what to do?.. Even i was trying to contact PVR customer...

I booked Saket PVR ticket on December 25, 2009 twice through my POS ATM (SBI Account No. [protected]) but failed to get tickets any time. However, on both the occasions the money Rs 590+ 590 was deducted from my account and even after the lapse of several months, the wrongly deducted money was not returned to my account so far. It is surprising that even after closure of 2009-10 balance sheets, all excess or wrongly money could not be pinpointed...

The complaint is marked as resolved when a company has responded to the complainant, addressed his or her dissatisfaction, and came to an agreement where both parties agreed that the complaint is indeed resolved. However, a complaint can be automatically marked as resolved if a complainant isn't responding or updating a complaint for 30 days after the company has tried to reach the complainant.

Non-receipt of vouchers, cheating at Candy Bar

I posted a complaint at PVR Case ID: CAS-25111-XQG8GG. Even though they promised me compensation by giving out vouchers. I never received them at my address. I had sent them an email with the complete address.

Now PVR claims that the issue is already resolved and they have closed the case as resolved.

No vouchers have been received and they have stopped responding to my emails.
