The complain is against www.100bestbuy.com C/O Suksh Technology pvt Ltd, Salarpuria Hallmark, 15/[protected]@16, 4th floor, Kadubeesanahalli, Outer Ring Road, Bangalore - 560087, INDIA.
I had participated in a lucky draw contest on www.100bestbuy.com for Apple iPhone 4S in Rs. 199/- on 17 December 2011.
On Friday 20 January I had received a call from a representative of the company regarding the draw result for the contest.
The lady on the phone said that while I have not been selected as winner for an Apple iPhone 4S, the company was offering an Apple iPod shuffle and Reebok watch combo instead.
I inquired with the lady whether it was an "Apple iPod" to which her response was yes - "It is Apple iPod Shuffle - 4th generation player", and that I will have to only pay the taxes and courier charges - amounting Rs. 1164/- as COD.
Since it was another Apple product - as she had confirmed, I confirmed my interest for the same.
When I received the products via 100bestbuy / Ref: 1944382 on Monday 23 January, 2012, I was shocked to see the contents!!!
There was no "Apple iPod" but instead a locally made cheap quality mp3 player which is an iPod look-alike! Top it up with extremely dirty and damaged earphones with a bad replica of Kingfisher like logo on it, which I couldn't even touch - let alone using them in my ears!!!
I tried reaching on their call centre to clarify this, but their numbers are ALWAYS busy, and have never got through with them on call.
Alternately, I wrote to them on customer support email id, expressing my unwillingness to accept these products, and that I receive complete refund of my money: Rs 199/- for contest + Rs. 1164/- paid COD.
But all I got was only an auto/ standard response on 6 February!
In-spite of sending several reminders, the company has not bothered to address my grievance, nor shown the courtesy to respond back to the numerous reminders.
As a last resort, I am filing this complain on the forum for guidance and further action.

I-Value Mart/Digital Camera — Non receipt of the booked product
This is my second complaint in the Consumer Complaints. As already detailed in my previous complaint, I have booked a Digital Camera for Rs. 8000/-and the payment was made by me through the SBI Credit Card.The product was booked by me in Feb.2008 under order no.3213 but the same was not delivered to me till July. After persistant persuataion, they somehow renewed my order another order no 5690 was communicated to me. But till this date, i.e 5th of Dec. 2008. nothing has been heard from the company. This is a fraud company, and their only job is to cheat the customers. I request you to kindly give ear to my complaint and have the company blacklisted as well as his registeration be cancelled. I want my money back and I do not want the product. Kindly do something.Rakesh Koul
