What happened to my laptop???????? It's been half a month already since I sent it for service, but until now, there's still no news. It's really disappointing that I'm encountering such problems like these. I bought a brand new laptop for the reason that i urgently need it and i don't want to catch miserable headaches with second-hand units, but i was greatly dismayed coz the one the one that was given to me was deffective... I sent it back to the store where I bought it, but they were not able to fix it, i sent it back over and over again (3x) but still same problem occured until they advised me to send it for service. So I did it, and they promised me that they will finish it in 8-10 days, so I believed! But until now, since March 1, still it wasn't repaired, and its pissing me off, calling them from time to time, promising me that they will give me feedback as soon as possible but never heard about it afterall! Now everything was ruined! I was supposed to leave for vacation last March 7 and bring this laptop for my mother as a present for her birthday but i wasn't able to do so coz my laptop is still under repair! I moved my flight and re-booked it to March 13, but still no news from you! I'm really really DISAPPOINTED, if i only knew from the beginning that your products are like that, I should have chosen another brand and not this ACER which gave me sooo much headache! So please inform me how many decades should I wait more before I can have my laptop coz u kept on promising me that you'll give me feedback and I waited... and I'm really really mad that I didn't get any ring from you!

Please be concern with customer's feelings! Don't promise if you can't make it! Don't sell deffective goods! Check the quality of your products coz it's really a waste of money and a waste of time buying it!!!

I assure that i won't make the same mistake again of buying this crazy product!!

    I HAVE PURCHASED ACER DESKTOP IN SEPTEMBER, THE PC ENCOUNTERED PROBLEM WITHIN 15 DYS OF PURCHASE.I LOGGED IN A COMPLAINT WITH THE SERVICE CENTER (14-OCT-08) & THY ASSURED ME THT THE PROBLEM WILL BE SOLVED WITHIN 7 DYS.LATER THEIR ENGINR CAME TO FIGURE THE PROBLEM & TOLD THT MOTHER-BOARD IS FAULTY & WILL BE REPLACED WITHIN 7 DYS.THE PC WAS UNTOUCH FOR MORE THAN 3 MONTHS !I GOT IT REPLACED IN 2ND WEEK OF JAN-09.LATER I ENCOUNTERD THE SAME PROBLEM IN FEB-09 AFTER THE REPLACEMENT & TILL DATE NO ACTION HAS BEEN TAKEN.I AM REALLY DISGRACED BY THE WAY THESE PEOPLE TACKLE THE CUSTOMERS.NO PROMPT RESPONSE, FALSE COMMITMENT & DELAYED SERVICE.I THINK ACER-INDIA IS NOT GIVING PROPER ATTENTION TO THE OUT-SOURCED SERVICE CENTERS TO FOLLOW STRICT GUIDELINES FOR CUSTOMER SERVICE.DON'T FORGET THT "IT IS MORE IMPORTANT TO RETAIN AN EXISTING CUSTOMER THAN TO MAKE NEW".PATHETIC CUSTOMER SERIVCE.

    Hi,
    I have purchased a New Acer Desktop Pc on 31-7-09, but after connecting the pc that pc was not working.after logged in the complain to acer they had sended ther eng. on 1-8-09. he found the problem in smps. He made A service Report and assured me the smps will replaced on monday (3-8-09). and today is 5-8-09 butt still i dont have any responce or call from their site.

    after call to acer again they are telling to wait they will do that within 48 hours.


    They are making there reputation poor by themselves .

      We purchased an Acer Aspire last year in April 2008. When we recently took an Idea Netsetter - a postpaid connection (I am an employee with Idea), the data card works on every possible PC / Laptop model right from Sony, HP, Dell, Compaq, but surprise !! it did not work on the ACER.

      I then gave the laptop to my technicians at the office, who suggested that we take it to Acer to get it rectified. When we landed at the Acer service centre, we were told that this will get checked and corrected.

      However, the very next day, I got a call from the Acer executive stating that he called the Customer Care at Idea and was told that there was a minimal balance, that is why it was disconnecting each time...the question here is how can there be a balance when this is a postpaid connection? and why was the netsetter not working on Acer?

      My advice - Please DO NOT purchase any Acer laptops, these will just give you more grief.

        My brother bought this laptop last year it is now out of warrenty, some of the motherboard keys are not responding and no character is typed on screen, working speed is very slow. please tell me what should be the problem in this laptop.

        Acer — Automatic shutdown of laptop after 1-2 hours

        I have Acer TravelMate 2355NXC laptop. It automatically shuts down after 1-2 hours. I think this is due to excessive heat up of Laptop. We are living in Shimla & there is no service center hereSo please tell us nearest service center or any service center in Chandigarh.

        i hv lappi acer aspire 4520, its not starting. i think its motherboard is gone. wat cn b done in dat?? cn it b repaired or a new shud b used. AMD athlon 64x2 processor.

        acer 4520 laptop — laptop failed to boot -amd motherboard failure

        My new laptop ACER 4520 used oddly for not more than 100 working hours has stopped working due power problem and the AMD MOTHER BOARD failed to deliver. Now the service people asking to pay for new mother board which cost Rs.12500/-

        I BOUGHT ACER COMPANY LAPTOP MODEL 5742 ON[protected].AFTER 2 MONTHS IT STARTS CREATING PROBLEM LIKE ABRUPT SHUTDOWN …ETC .ON 1ST AUG 2011 IT STOPS WORKING COMPLETELY .SO I LODGED A COMPLAINT REGARDING NOT POWERING ON AND SHUTDOWN OF THE SYSTEM IN AGRA SERVICE CENTRE.THEY TOOK SO MANY DAYS THEY CHANGED ITS BOARD 4TIMES REPLACED ALL ITS MAJOR COMPONENTS LIKE BATTERY PROCESSOR FAN…….AND MANY MORE,BUT THE PROBLEM REMAIN UNSOLVE .THE SAME PROBLEM OCCURING AGAIN AND AGAIN AFTER CHANGING ALL THIS PARTS

        Hello, everyone I have acer aspire 4520, it's always turn off a few minute latter and sometimes it won't started
        when we start my laptop and press F2 Button and open Boot Menu when we use ( left, right buttons on keyboard and change Tab ( Information, Boot, Exit ) so it work properly.And when we change Tab ( Main, Security, ) then system is totally Hang. and after 1 minute shutdown automatically.
        Some times when we start my laptop so the laptop is not start and power off in 2 seconds. or system boot automatic.
        Please tell me what can i do to fix this problem.

          I purchased one ACER Laptopas 5551 ANWXMI
          LXADNOC0236290C2392000 On 10th November 2006 with 2 years extended warranty.

          I faced no problem till 20th of February 2009 when Laptop was shutting down suddenly. I thought it might be due to Window OS. I tried to delete and reload the same. But relaoding was not possible. I contacted your service centre at New Delhi and lodged a comlaint No.[protected] dated 24.2.09 and advised me to meet Afore Serve Com Ltd, your customer service centre.

          On 26th I personally visited their office and handed over my lap top. After checking the laptop, they advised me that there was no problem with the hardware but it was only windowxp which is not workinng. But yesterday, they advised me that out of two RAMs of 250K one is not of acer and is made of Transcend, therefore it is not covered under servicing. They wanted to tell me that it was I who changed this RAM.

          I am happy to say that my acer laptop had never given any probem since November 2006. Therefore, I had to reason to consult any one on this earth. Moreover, as it is covered under warranty I should contact acer had there been any such case. I am not a cheather. I am your bonafide customer.

          Please advise your service centre to do the needful forthwith.

            I bought new Acer Aspire-5920 in March 2008.

            1) I noticed that the space in HDD is about 151GB only instead of 160GB.
            2) The battery provide only 2 hours backup (fully charged)

            Waiting for positive response.

            well it's HDD is 160 GB, , ...but some part of the disk is consumed for other windows components which is not shown by OS...every company gives this much storage on the name of 160GB.well abt the battery backup, it's not much but a typical 6 cell battery gives this much only.

              Dear Sir/ Madam,

              I have bought Acer Laptop in Aug 2007 . While Buying the Laptop i was given1 Year International Warranty + 2 years addtional Local Warranty (For India ).

              2 months Back my Laptop Power Button statted giving me Problem. But when i went to Acer Service Centre in Hyderabad Near Scundrabad they r saying that they cant Help me as i myself need to go to company sort the issue.

              I have my Laptop in Warranty Period and If Companys Authorised Dealers / Service Centres give me a reply what should i do. Where should i go and ask for help . I cant go to service centre and fight .

              Plz help me . I do have all the bills and Warranty receipts, My Laptop Model no is Aspire 5583NWXMi and SR No is LXAXVOCO1172802FOE2505.

              Hi Sir, hello, sir I have acer laptop. last few days it not work properly.it showing some error, and it not start not properly only power light on but no display and other activity. please rectify my problem as soon as possible. Hear no acer servicing center is available. my contact no is [protected] where is the service centre of acer in Lucknow.
              Same problem for me too. Power light glows but no other activity.

              I won the Laptop Aspire 4253 as a prize from channel V. so i dont have the invoice (got the box though). One month after delivery, the laptop died. now i cannot even see if the laptop is within warranty(no info on site) .So no warranty for me???

              I have Lenovo laptop and dell netbook. They have everything including warranty lookup online but never needed to use it during the warranty. Acer is not even close.

                I have purchased acer6930 laptop last three months before(4/1/2009) till now i didnt get SpecialFestiveOffer 5056 (nikons coolpix digital camera).they ave promised to delivered the gift with in 45 days . now it is more than 3 months .when i contact acer india they are not responding . and sometimes they promise that dispatch the gift with in three days or with in week . i have called 20 times .                   Complaint 4) Now from last 5 days when i put on the laptop without Charging on the Display goes off.


                  Now I do not want to get it repaired if you guys have certain care and want your customer should not suffer like me pls give me the replacement for this defective piece.

                  As i have got patiently replaced Mother board, DVD Writer i do not now what else is left in the laptop.

                  Let me not undergo the pain, With in 6 months i am facing so many problems how can i use this lsptop in future.

                    Acer — about laptop adapter & battery

                    I have an acer laptop whose battery backup was very poor on complaining in the service center it has been replaced but I dont think with a new one bco'z still its battery backup is weak.The adaptor was also defective and not working properly as it has been checked and cleared by the service center engineers. The adaptor has not been changed and the adaptor which has been provided to me is a repaired and used one since it ought to be changed by a new one. The most rediculious thing is that engineers of the service center and whoever the employees are have really no manner at all and they try to threat us and even behaved very ill mannered and in a illetrate way.I complaint in "AFFORESERVE SERVICE CENTER , PATNA" Exhibition Road. Plz take some strict action as soon as possible.
                    I bought 2 acer mini laptops, one for me and one for my daughter, in Jan 09. One charger started going in and out and would only work if you positioned it a certain way. Now it's not working at all and the 2nd charger is starting to do the same thing. I looked into getting a replacement charger but all the ones I've found run around $90, a little pricey for budget right now. I am extremely disappointed that this product is failing. Before this problem I was teling everyone how great it was and now I will e sure to let everyone know how bad it is.

                    I also purchased two Acer AspireOne mini-laptops in Dubai (Jumbo and Carrefour) and had BOTH power cords stop working (I traced the problem to loose wiring where the cord plugs into the machine).

                    The warranty does not cover the power cord and neither store sells replacement cords.

                    The customer service numbers refer to local dealers who either do not answer their phones, or do not sell power cords. Finally, I found an affiliate that offered to order cords for me, but the cost was 250 Dhs EACH (25% of what I paid for the machine!). ANY Acer power cord will work for this machine, but I have yet to find any place that will sell me one at a reasonable price.

                    In the meantime, I have jury-rigged the power cord to work with a home soldering job, but really--what frustration for a required component (the laptop will not work without power).

                    Frustrated and left with a cheapened impression of Acer.

                    My friend has the same charger prob, shes bought a replacement off ebay as the parts dept were too dear, hers is still under waranty but she was told it doesnt cover the charger!
                    Im up plymouth next wk and intend to chase this up face to face with them, its very poor and has put off acer completely.

                    i have purchase an ac adopter of acer bearing sl no is AP0650A[protected]DPF04 . my invoce no is 2745 dt 29/12/2011 from my home city patna (bihar) under warranty for 01 year. but this ac adopter has stop working after 15 days from purchasing date. now i am livening in viman nagar pune after a number of search i got a address of acer service center in karve nagar road near ashwani hospital. i went there with my unserviceable adopter with my invoice , but working staff of that service center has refused to give a service under warranty. they people said that i[censored] want service under warranty you have to go that shop from where u have bought. i have asked them that statement in writing they refused.
                    my laptop is switched off due to adopter problem. i am unhappy with acer service center it is very difficult for me to go my home town for servicing my adopter. please help me immediately other wise i will knock the door of consumer court.

                      Sir,

                      I purchased Acer laptop on 31.03.2006 in the name of my son Varun Mittal. the details of Laptob sr. No. is LXA550C0615430A821EM0 p/no 5W.00567.020 Docket#0430 But due to battery back up problem and some other problem i gave my lap top to your office in Chandigarh after getting my complaint lodged with your office, But I was handed over the laptop saying that if battery back up is upto 20 minutes we dont change the battery. In the meanwhile I received a call from Acer that if i make an AMC with the company before expiring of my warranty period which was ending on 30.03.2007 I will get the AMC for two years after giving Rs. 5500/- plus taxes for which I agreed. But the battery back up problem was not solved. Again I called your office in Delhi and lodged my complaint and I was advised to go to your sector 17 Chandigarh service centre where the charger cord was changed but the battery problem was not solved again.

                      Sir, here I would like to mention that than I lodged my complaint with your office in Delhi over telephone and they satisfied me saying that it will be changed. I was contacted by Your Delhi Office 5-6 times they asked me my mailing address and telephone number and home address and confirmed that Battery will be delivered at my residence. The last such phone I recieved was in between 25th of November 2008- 29 November 2008, the Officer who was calling me assured that i will receive the battery soon.

                      Sir, I would like to bring to your kind notice that I have neither received any battery till now nor any call from your office. Rather after that whenever I called up your office I was asked that it will not be changed.

                      Please advise me the exact position, if it has been delievered than where and when, if not uptill now than what is being done now. the battery back up my lap top is zero now.

                      I bought a new Acer laptop on 26th Dec 2008, I've just noticed over the last few days, the battery is indicating as fully charged and yet when I take out the AC Adopter mains power lead and try to work the laptop off the battery alone, nothing is happening it doesn't even switch on

                        I Have Bought a Desktop From Acer Aspire L 100 In March ' 2008 With A warranty Period Of 1 Year for A Investment Of Rs. 32000/- (Only for THe CPU).
                        Since November I Starrted Facing a Proble Of System Not Getting Booted. As Such I Gave It To The The Acer Service Centre In December 3rd Week Wherein I Have Been Informed That The System's MotherBoard Has An Problem Which Would Cost Me A investment Of Around Rs. 7000/- With No Warranty Period .
                        Is It Fair Enough to Invest Something Wherein We Do Not Get Warranty ?

                              This is not the first time, I am complaining about a problem that I face constantly, again and yet again.
                              However this time it went overboard.

                              I bought an ACER laptop in October 2007.
                              Since I have started using it, I realized that it overheats itself. So much so, that it is impossible to even keep it on the lap and use it.
                              I have given it for servicing to ACER umpteen times. And it comes back with no difference what so ever.
                              From July 2008 to November 2008 I have been so troubled by this whole experience.
                              Your service to the customer is so bad, I can’t even begin to explain.( I am starting to detest) ACER
                              I once got my laptop back with the keyboard not working, the mouse not working. I had to arrange for external keyboard and mouse to be able to use the laptop to access important data.
                              It seems that you have no regards for anyone else’s time or convenience or peace.
                              To co-ordinate with the dealer, the service executive for constant updates and constant follow ups has been a mental torture, believe you me.
                              I will go to the level of saying that I was traumatized by the whole thing.
                              And the worst part is even though I have somehow managed to get my laptop back, it is still the same and overheats drastically.
                              After spending so much amount of money, all I get is a horrible product and even horrible service and practically snatching away my peace and sleep.

                              I do not know how to can take the consumer for such a ride.

                              I would like you to answer some questions for me please

                              Is this some kind of a joke?
                              If yes then is your sense of humour so bad?
                              Do you think you are the only player in the market to do what you like?
                              Do you think the customer is a fool?
                              Do you think the customer has no other job in the world other than to first get harassed and then complain and then follow up on the complains?
                              Do you think you are going to be able to compensate the customer for the time loss and the mental stress that you cause to the customer?

                              I shall await your response till the 4th of December 2008.
                              I better be compensated well.

                              I do not understand that in this age of social networking, and constant communication, how you let customers get so dissatisfied. Please understand that bad word of mouth can lead to severe damages.
                              If I do not receive satisfactory response, I am sorry to say, that I will have to take help of the media. And this you take it from me, that the media will help.
                              I will be forced to write product reviews on review sites. And well the power of google, and internet...well what can I say..
                              Negative publicity is not good publicity I hope you know that.
                              See, the thing is that please do not take me wrong. I do not wish to spread the bad word unless I am awfully forced to do so. And please do not take any of this as empty threats.

                              Also, I think you should stop proclaiming that you are a good company because according to me neither do you offer any functional benefit (horrible horrible horrible horrible product), nor any emotional benefit (don’t even get me started on that- I am already so stressed out by the customer “service” that you have “provided” )!!

                              I would like my issues to be PERMANENTLY RESOLVED -Or else, I am sorry to say, I would have to take drastic steps such as taking Acer India to court. I will soon be sending my lawyer with a legal notice.

                              This is Gyanendra Yadav, working with Government of Madhya Pradesh, as State MIS Manager in a project.



                              For my project, I bought a new ACER Aspire4530 laptop on 9th May 2009, Banglore and right after one week the laptop is not working properly like recording audio, webcam is not functioning, and CD ROM makig noice by shaking etc.



                              I have raised ticket[protected] on[protected] and was told to fix the problem at the nearest Acer service center. I went on[protected] with my laptop at "Compherals" Acer Service Center located at langford road, banglore .



                              Service center id (ACCID) - COM080 and they have given me a job no. 2241 on 24-06-09 and ask to collect the problems fixed laptop after two days.On reaching to the service center on 27-06-09 I was again told that to come after two more days i.e. on 30-06-09. On contecting "Compherals" I was told that there is a problem in motherboard and they are going to replace it so they are waiting for part from ACER since 10days.



                              On reaching this day to "Compherals" I was told that my laptop is repaired and ready to collect, when I checked for the problems which i had raised a ticket those are not solved. They did nothing with laptop except wasting my valuable time. I m badly need my laptop to complete one of my important projects.



                              I would like to know is there any way to handover my laptop back to the acer so that I can opt for other brands ...

                              Acer is the worst when it comes to after sales service. Also Acer is well-known for its defective products and never makes an effort to improve. Most customers get carried away by its low pricing. But its better spend a little more money and buy a better products of a better brand. Even I own an Acer Ferrari 4003Wlmi. I bought it for Rs.1 Lakh and spent Rs. 35000 in 4 years, only for repairs... even the Warranty extention would cost just a few thousands lesser. But there is no point as the service providers of Acer in bangalore are hopeless. For my horror the Motherboard is out of order now. If i intend to get it repaired i have to go through a lot of metal agony running behind the service provider to repair my laptop. Its better to trash this Acer stuff and buy some other laptop. I will never make the mistake of buying an Acer product again.

                              I am Pragathi kumar, from Guntur district, Andhra pradesh. A couple of months back I bought an acer aspire model no 4736 . From the date of my purchase onwards I didn't the cam for my notebook. Recently, I noticed that, My cam is not working from the purchase date itself.

                              I tried a lot to my level best, by installing drivers. My book problem wasn't resolved.

                              my acer aspire 5738 laptop hangs when i try to install linux window on it.
                              ACER the biggest headache one can buy..thats what me and my friends have faced..after i bought this laptop i have tried many a times to getthis problem solved..my screen turns black suddenly and i have to switch off my laptop before i can work again..this problem started a month after i purchased my laptop..the service centre in mangalore is horrible.. they got some part changed but still the problem persists..i'm so fed up that now i dont have any energy left to go and get it checked...the problem with my friend was her motherboard was giving her problem so the service executive again in mangalore got her a new motherboard for Rs.10, 000 but recently we came to know that a new motherboard was never installed instead the old one was repaired...DO YOU THINK WE ARE FOOLS...this is the last time i ever bought an Acer product.To hell with your making our life easier...its making us more and more busy and infuriated as well...if you cannot make your customers happy you may as well shut all the centres and stop making the gadgets...THE SERVICE CENTRE AT PVS CIRCLE MANGALORE IS A BIG FRAUD...BEWARE ALL...

                              I am ajay saini from delhi, i am using accer lcd 18inch.After 5 days one spot on display automaticaly & after 2 days it. become big & two more spot on screen.I complaint on your coustomer care & my complaint no. is[protected], but still after 20 days no response from your side i am talking with your cst. care executive but he says we can't help you any more & he cut the phone without any reply.Plz. tell me clearly otherwise i will go to consumer court.
                              What the above customers claim is absolutely true. I made a similar mistake of going for acer lap top. It worked well for 3 months and had frequent hanging problem. Once though shut down properly.refused to boot up next day. I tried my best it did not. Since it was under warranty period i took it to the authorised Acer clinic recommended by their Delhi office. They asked me to come after 2 days saying that it is OS problem. When I phoned up they said it is rectified and under Observation. Next day Iwas told that it is ready and I was asked to collect the laptop. In the presence of the service personnel it did not boot and the engineer told me that now it is hardware problem and hard disk is to be changed. and was asked to come after 4 days.

                              The behaviour of the personnel sounded equally arrogent and not even polite. I plan to put a sticker on my car " Beware. Please do buy Acer computer. Their service is horrible".

                              I truly agree every aspect of this mail. I still curse myself that I bought an Acer Aspire 5580, in September 2007, for 42 grand in Hyderabad. The dealer is Mr. KV Rao.
                              The dedicated service center is near Swarna Jayanti complex, Dhanaraju Apts, near Ameerpet, Sanjeevareddy road.
                              The servicing charges have come to 8000 rupees now and will be more as it crashed again after not more than 6 hours o[censored]se.

                              IT SUCKS !!!

                              I've tried to use good english, but Acer dosen't understand it.
                              Even my system overheats itself, and that is the least of the problems. It started screwing up about 6 - 8 months after purchase. I have serviced the thing 3 times in the warranty period. There is a long list of issues and I'll state it all, even if it fills up the server log space.

                              Just after 5 months, the lcd screen gets permanent dark spots, trust me, no rough handling, and they say they wont replace that.

                              From day 1, the system becomes a HOTPLATE after about 10 -15 minutes from start-up.

                              The so called 1.3 mp Webcam, just takes low quality pics, worser than my old 2006 model cellphone, From day 1 if I try to use it as a webcam, or take a video, there is a message - ' webcam is not connected '. I've tried installing the drivers & software umpteen times, from the driver disk provided, and Acer website. I tried with other OS as well, no go whatsoever. Also, the camera connection goes off for the low quality pictures as well, every time u turn it around gently as instructed. The service people don't even pretend to hear this problem. That's more than Pathetic.

                              The graphic card screwed up twice in the warranty period, got fixed just for a while and is still a problem.

                              The power button was replaced after about 8 months after purchase, and again after close to one year, got charged well 2nd time.

                              From the beginning, I have to turn on power before I start the system, or it dosen't detect power, the charging light does not glow, until I restart again. The battery backup time is hardly 90 minutes.

                              Coming to the main issue, There have been many instances of total system crash, and that is still the problem. If I turn on power button, there are just some white lines appearing on the screen, That's it !!!

                              The first time, it was on warranty. The second time, the servicing is done and I'm charged well, the third time as well. The fourth time, the serviceman said that the motherboard is gone, and i'll have 2 replace it, which will be 14, 000. Most of the companies give a 4 year warranty on motherboard, not acer. Then I speak not kindly to the serviceman, he considers, charges me 5600 rupees for nothing, gives it back after about 2 months, where he says it was resting in Bangalore. Now, that is criminal. The same way it crashed again after 2 -3 months, I took it to Hyd again, service charges about 600 Rupees. The total charges just for servicing it have come down to about 8000 and more.., excluding travel charges. I didn't use it for sometime as i am working in a different location. My sister started using it, then after 5 times o[censored]se, not more than about 5 - 6 hours, it has crashed again. The same white lines on LCD.

                              The WORST part is the Customer Support, both online(Acer Website) and On Call. I have sent complaint mails umpteen times, and there is not ONE response mail till now. When I call up my dealer, he just talks for the sake of it, hangs up before I complete, dosen't pick calls.
                              I guess Acer Corporation here, or everywhere, does not value it's customers right after the purchase is made.

                              I wish all o[censored]s could pool up and take up the case to the consumer court for necessary action as acer dosen't respond anyways. I don't know about courts and cases, but I will be following up now on the double.

                              Sub: Acer 4736z S.No. LXP540C0270030B7DD1601. CASE ID:[protected]
                              With Reference to the model a complain launched at the toll free number wrt. To the CASE ID:[protected] and the laptop was send to Jaipur service centre. The mentioned problem was songs were playing very slowly and a message was being displayed as hard disk replace in windows 7 and Windows XP got corrupted so many times. This problem also verified by me Devendra Ochani owner of Aakash Computers, Ajmer, but the Jaipur service centre returned back the laptop saying that they had reset the hard disk and there is no need of replacement of hard disk (as per their statement). Note: It was done in the month of December 2010. After a week the customer again came back with the same problem. We again called up Mr. Dinesh Pathak and told him shall we lock the call again but he refused me from getting the call lock by assuring that they will resolve the issue as earliest and told me You just send the laptop and we will replace the hard disk as we have hard disk in the stock. So we send the laptop by courier on 13th Jan 2011 and its delivered on 14th Jan. 2011. We again called up Mr. Dinesh Pathak on 15th Jan. 2011 (Saturday) and he said it is a holiday speak to me on Monday morning. When I called him on Monday near about 4 pm. In this communication again he assured me that I will replace the Hard Disk and send you the laptop by today’s courier. After 15 minutes of this communication he again called me up and told there is not same hard disk as I replaced earlier. First of all when he communicated that he haven’t changed the hard disk how it changed in second time. Second thing who authorized him to take company’s asset without any call no. There are also so many que. Which I want to raise on integrity of Mr. Dinesh Pathak. Mr. Dinesh called the customer and told him that Aakash computers changed the hard disk and called me by saying that customer has changed the hard disk. Another que. Is that this is a systematic service centre of a reputed company then why we received the laptop without seal after repairing from service centre? Why we haven’t received any repair note by stating that what part has been changed or repaired? Nobody can prove verbal statements. Mr. Dinesh Pathak received the Laptop on 14th Jan., 2011 and I got revert on 17th Jan., 2011 when I called him when part was changed why don’t he reverted on priority? Finally he return the laptop to my address which I have received on 19th jan 2011. I have also spoke to Mr. Bharat on toll free No. then he suggested me to mark a mail on this id.
                              Company will loose its image in market if this will be continued by such people of service center doing work like this and leaving us without proof what work has been done in the laptop and again when the problem arises they deny for warranty. Why cant a the person put a seal on the part (hard disk cover) to proof that this part has been repaired / replace by company’s service centre. Now my simply request with you kindly consider the case and resolve my problem by replacing the Hard Disk of this Laptop on priority.

                              My name is Ajay Kumar Singh .I had bought ACER Aspire one d257 model in Dec2011 from Diamonds Computers, Sanjay Place Agra. My Acer notebook is Creating problem from starting onwards after purchasing from 20-25 day. its battery after consumption of 65-70% ( i.e. remaining of 30-25% of charging) automatic goes switched OFF/Hybernate mode. when i try to switch ON again it does not get ON. when i Plugged ON for charging then it is able to switched ON and at that time Battery Shows 5-6% Charging. i have visited 5-6 time Service Centre Digital Care Agra (UP) for this problem and still visiting but problem Still persists. Service centre is telling that they have replace Battery but Still problem persists.MY current CASE ID :[protected]. i am getting frustrated by going again and again. kindly replace or Change my Notebook.

                                Dear Sir / Madam

                                I have purchased acer aspire 4520 approximate 9 months ago. Last 4 months there is a long list of problems being faced.
                                Its adapter, mother board, power board, even the dvd writer is being replaced. I am at horrer how all this happened that to in the time span of just 3 months.

                                Not only this there is display problem. I have visited the centre in Ludhiana many times which is 50 kms from my home. But this the person there named Balwinder, Incharge said me that he is out of station and cant handle it.

                                It is very pathetic that the company is not worried about the customers.

                                  "we apologize the inconvenienve, but windows did not start sussesfully.a recent hardware or software might caused this"

                                  then i tried to format my system with windows xp cd then also some error showing

                                  make sure any hard drives are powered on and properly connected to your computer,
                                  and that any disk related hardware configuration is correct.this may involve

                                    i had purchased acer aptop model name is extansa. my laptop is in the warranty period. i had admit my complaint of the switches and the battery backup problem in the local acer service center in aurangabad, maharastra 3 month before. But there is no action taken by the local service center and the main service center of the acer. now there is another problem created one month before in the laptop is that the dvd drive is not working properly but i am suspicious to again add this complaint because of delaying. so sir i request to you please attention on my complaint and try to give 3 month extended warranty on the battery and another parts of the battery.

                                      I am also having the same Acer Extensa-4220 model Laptop, I am using it since 1 year, till date i did'nt had such problem.

                                      Its fantastic and good laptop. I had upgraded the RAM to 2GB 800Mhz. And its working fine.
