REPORTED TO BE NOT APPEARING ON ABOVE MEMO..I REQUESTED THE CONCERNED PERSON TO LOG THE COMPLAINT CALLBUT HE ADVISED THAT IT IS OF NO USE AND I WAS DIRECTED TO GET THE S.NO.ON THE BILL FROM THE SELLER AT BANGALORE DULY AFFIXED THE SEAL OF THE FIRM.

Acer Aspire — No replacement

My laptop wasn't functioning and hence I had taken it to the service center. My laptop was in warranty period. I have the job card of the same dated 22/05/2010. The concerned person said they will have to replace the motherboards. It's been months they are not responding back and are not replacing the part. Everytime we ask them , they say the part will arrive in 2-3days.
sir my key board does work properly.give me how to approach to repair my lap through acer company.i am in ap.i buy the lap before 6 months so what id do now?send me some contacts in rayalaseema(A.P).HOW I GET SERVICES FROM ACER.
I HAVE WARRANTY NOE MY LAP NOT WORKING PROPERLY NOW HOW I GET SERVICES FROM ACER.ANY CENTERS IN RAYALASEEMA(A.P).SEND MY MAIL.

Acer Aspire — slow working

slow working,hanging while working,slowest process ,slowest of the slowest file transfer,worse perfromance than ever..kindly take need fully action by your office.

    Acer Relocations - based out in Bangalore and operating in all cities - Chennai, Delhi, Kolkata Bangalore etc. are complete fraud.

    They promised me to provide complete services at one price and also assure insuring the goods in transit through United India Assurance. The fact is that they never insured the goods and never provided me the the copy of the insurance policy. They pocketed this money.

    Their packing was pathetic and almost all my goods were damaged during the transit - which they never repaired after the delivery. Though they promised but they never insured the goods and hence you I did not get any insurance claim either.

    To my horror, most of my valuables were stolen during the transit - the sealed cartons were opened during the transit, goods were removed and the cartons were sealed back. Once again - they blamed me for putting the valuables in the transit and said it was my mistake - and that I should not have kept the valuables in the cartons. Once again - as the goods were not insured I did not get any claim.

    Not only this, once my goods were loaded in Chennai, they said it is the Company's rule that they accept payment only in cash. They refused to accept a cheque. After lot of request, they said they can accept the cheque only if I made a full payment. I did not have cash and so I had to make a full payment. This was my biggest mistake.

    Once the goods came to Delhi - they said I would have to pay another Rs. 5,000 (over and above the agreed contract price) to get the delivery of my goods - this was a complete cheating. I had no option but to pay as my goods were in their control.

    Once they have got all the money and cheated me, they are not responding to my calls.

    Frustated and helpless customer.

    I had a similar experience. They are complete fraud. Karnataka Police must do something to stop this. I had incurred a loss of about Rs. 50, 000 but did not get a penny as compensation from them.

      I have purchased acer aspire 4530 series laptop from Mumbai(G.N Computers).I carried it all the way to my workplace at Agartala and hardly 1 month later I had to take it to local service centre as the lan port stopped working.it took them 1 n 1/2 month to replace the motherboard which was faulty.The irony is that the day I brought it home I found that there is no audio.Again went to the S/C to listen that the audio chip is faulty and again 1 n 1/2 months to replace it.hardly 2 days after i got it repaired The laptop just blacked out and this time local S/C even denied to receive it without a call lock,remember during the whole episode I had numerous interactions with company"s S/C,call centre and guwahati customar care centre,but got nothing but assurence.At last i had to take it to G.N computers and they sent it to mumbai S/C.I requested them to get it changed with a new one as the worranty is comming to an end,but in vein.Again more than one month they took for repairing.During all these period I had pay my internet bill but do nothing.It took it 5-6 days to start malfunction again and I sent a complain to company's mailbox and till date no reply as what i understand is that they just wanted to spare the worrenty periob by hook or crook and thereafter they don't give a damn to their customers.I just want to say to all plz. donn't go by the ads by bigstars rather go by the consumer experiences otherwise companies like this will just cheat you to pay the bills to the filmsters.Thanks all.

        My name is aayat khan.i have purchased ACER E-Machine E725 Laptop from Shree ganesh computer (Ram binnani)khamgaon on Dated 16-jan-2010 having sr no.LXN780C00994631E031601.As per company's rule he promised me for one year warranty.But on dated 12-may-2010 laptop card reader has some problem due to that data card has been trapped (blocked) in it.so i brought laptop to dealer(shree ganesh computer) then he told me that i will solve this problem and get out that data card he didn't refer to service centre.Finally he had broken the card reader's slots and made it useless.after that he told me u can contact to Acer service centre Nagpur. it is therefore requested to acer co. to take needful action for my under warranty laptop.

          My name is Anand and I purchased Acer Aspire 5536 laptop on 6th of January. I was well pleased with the performance of the system for the first 2 months. However, after 2 months, it started showing some “Forced shutdown” error message while shutting down the system and the startup got slower as well.



          It even took around 15 minutes to start and all of a sudden one day, it’s not starting up. I couldn’t even go to BIOS or even to last known configuration. So, I couldn’t take a backup of my files.



          Now I am very desperate that, I made up my mind in choosing Acer. I do understand that, any computer can cause problems.



          But it’s very astonishing that, I gave my Laptop to your Service Center on 5th of May and even after 1 month. They couldn’t help resolve the issue with my Laptop.



          As, I enquired about the problem. I came to know that, this was some monitor flickering issue. After that, they are telling like, they have replaced the mother board and they are waiting for to change the processor.



          And, I even called up your Customer Care, for complaining this and they are not at all responding to what am saying. I already told the Customer guys that, I have given the laptop to service center. Even, though he is just giving the details of the service centers, which I already have. He was not all in a mood to help me at all. Forget it!!!!!!



          Today, I called up the service center and they are still asking for one more week to change the processor. What is it going on!!!!, they are telling like, processor is in shortage. I can’t believe it…



          Now I don’t want this messed-up laptop back. I want a new laptop to be replaced with 1 year warranty and my files backup with effect to date replaced. According to service center, they don’t have any authority to do anything!!!!!



          To whom, should I be complaining about the loss of my time and money?



          Whoever has the right authority, please replace my Laptop with 1 year warranty and my files backup.

          I had the same experience with ACER 5535 laptop. Just one year of its use the mother board and processor gone for a toss.

          Summary : Do not buy ACER laptops.

            i recently bought acer 0532 aspire one from datamation services,guwahati,assam,india

            sir i am using mtorola motorokr e6 mobile phone which is multimedia enabled

            when i use my phone to connect to internet with a data cable the phone gets connected,but as soon as i start browsing the fon hangs up
            i hav tried out this with with my desktop and there is absolutely problem
            i even called up the mobile operator but came to know that there is something wrong with the mobile

              I have been using acer extansa 4620, for last two years. it has got 3 years warrenty. Now I an facing a dangerous problem with my laptop. That is I have found a serious Crack on back side(both right and left ends) of my lid. When I approach customer service center, they told that, it cant repaire or replace. Some of my friends are also facing the same dangerous and adventitious problem.

                COMPHERALS ACER are complete cheats , never go to them.
                I gave my projector which had a un broken bulb and it used to power on but some problem causing it no to work , I have opened and checked the bulb and condition before goign to the shop .
                COMPHERALS ACER

                The person Gasendra Singh of the COMPHERALS ACER repair centre asked as to give to projector for diagnosis and said it will be repaired within 6000 rs , trusting the company acer outlet , I agree to leave the projector , they later after 10 days returned the projector saying cannot be repaired and charge 552 rs charges and tricked and kept my orginal projector and returned me some old non usable projector saying it cannot be repaired..after 10 days.

                When I went home and opened the bulb section , the bulb was broken ....

                Never go to COMPHERALS they are bunch of cheats .


                Acer - company has set-up and authorized the biggest cheat COMPHERALS , Langford road Bangalore .
                Acer and COMPHERALS should be taken to consumer court for this cheating .

                I hope Acer will take some actions.

                I have all documents and proof of other people who have seen this cheating

                Its was found that the 3rd party they send for repair damaged & broke the Projector bulb and send it back to them quitely.

                After complaint to Acer, there was a discussion and mutually agreed to get it repaired with payment of 15K (I had to pay else it was a dead box for me)

                  1. I purchased an ACER ASPIRE NETBOOK from Acer mall,DIGITAL STORES,RAJ PLAZA,RAJPUR ROAD ,Dehradun on 23 Apr 2010.
                  2. The cover of the netbook was not handed over to me as the same was not available with the dealer,who assured me that i would be given the same in couple of days,but the same is still awaited tll date.
                  3. Secondly,the keypad of the netbook had some problems.I handed over the netbook to the dealer asking him to rectify the faults,but it has been more than a week and thr problem still remains unresolved.On contacting the dealer on varios occasions,no positive reply is given.
                  4. Such a pathetic after sales service from a company like ACER is unwarranted for and i personally think that the dealership should be given after a thorough scrutiny of the credentials of the dealer.
                  5. I bieng an Army Officer would definitely advise my circle not to go for an ACER product after this experience.

                    Since the last one month a vertical band has been noticed on my laptops LCD. The band was also flickering and changing the LCD colour.

                    I lodged a complaint (case ID[protected], date - 9/3/2010) and submitted my laptop (Acer Aspire D250) to the Micronics Enterprise, Kolkata Acer service centre.
                    They changed the LCD and the Motherboard.
                    I came home, after receiving the serviced laptop and found the same problem again..this time with an addition of faulty date and time software.

                    I lodged a complaint again (case ID[protected], date 14/4/2010). The case is still open.
                    I returned home with my service laptop this time with 100% assurance of a PERFECTLY service laptop, with another new Motherboard and a changed LCD cable.

                    But I am utterly disappointed to see that the problem persists.. NOW WHAT?

                    Does Acer expect me to go the the service centre for the 3rd time and get the same job done again?
                    Does Acer expect that I will respect and carry forward the brand name of being well served by Acer?


                    I am not only disappointed but also disgusted with the kind of service given to me by my faulty Acer laptop. Also, I cannot depend on 'Micronics Enterprises', Kolkata, for their services. They are inefficient and cheating on me saying that the problem has been solved.

                    I am not in a position to carry on my work on a faulty and defective laptop, whose LCD starts flickering with a vertical band and request for a full money back, or a laptop replacement.

                    This is a manufacturing defect and does not seem to get over even with change of laptop parts. It will never be working fine.

                      I am going to register a case against your company at the consumer court within next 4 days.Because i think some kind of action should be taken against you people for fooling us and not even taking responsibility for it.

                      I am Mr.Suresh Krishnan from mumbai, This refers to the
                      acer notebook AS4810TZ purchased on[protected] from MS vijay
                      sales, vashi-navi mumbai.Since then the said machine gets
                      hanged after one hour. i have called at your customer care
                      more than 5 times, they have suggested me to re-install
                      windows 7 through the recovery disc. i have re-installed
                      windows 7, still the problem is not solved then they had
                      given me the case id 03121-20 and asked me to take my
                      notebook to the acer service center at sector-17, vashi,
                      Navi-Mumbai.

                      Then again i called at your customer care and registered a
                      complain they had given me this case id[protected] after that
                      again i took this notebook to the service center located at
                      sector-17 vashi, navi mumbai. This time they told me that
                      the machine is working properly the only problem is with CD
                      ROM and within the 2, 3 days they will be replacing it but
                      the system hang problem is solved after keeping it for 2
                      days. Again on[protected] to the said service center, they
                      changed the CD ROM tray and returned it to me.

                      On the same day the system again got hanged and the next
                      day i took this to the said service center and requested
                      them to check whether this problem is due to OS and told
                      them to keep it for another 3, 4 days and solve the problem
                      i am facing with the system.

                      Today morning i had collected my notebook from the said
                      service center around 11.30 am after keeping it with them
                      for 6 days and he said that the problem is solved, you
                      wont face any system hang problem from now onwards.

                      Around 12.30 pm i switched on the notebook, within 5 mins
                      it got hanged.

                      Now i think there is no use of taking this notebook again
                      and again to your service center and i dont think this is
                      brand new notebook, i think you people have fooled me
                      although i paid Rs 30,000 to purchase this notebook. This is
                      my first acer notebook and its a very bad and irritating
                      experience with you people.

                      Now i am writing this mail to inform you that i am not in a
                      position to again take this notebook back to your service
                      center to get my problem resolved. Although i will take this
                      notebook to your service center now once to show to your
                      engineer that the system is getting hanged again.

                      After this i am going to take a legal action against acer
                      for fooling me and for all the pain you people have given me
                      since the day i purchased this notebook.

                      Acer Laptop — Worst Service from ACER Laptop

                      Dear Mr. Rakesh,

                      This is in references to Case ID No :[protected] and Job card no: 433 dated : 19/07/2010 in the name of Mr. Sachin. Goregoan.

                      After Twenty day’s I have called them ( Mr. Sachin engineer of RLC Pvt. Ltd.) ask us to get the laptop since the Motherboard is arrived and when I have send my person to their office with my laptop, they make our person to wait for 1 hours and later they say that there is a problem with On Button will get it done is three day’s time will inform you by phone, I have called them after 9 day’s there was no reply from them, since they don’t know any things about this case. On 20th August they ask me to come with the laptop, on 21st I Personally went to their office they have make me waited 45 minutes and later Mr. Sachin Started to make different stories ( some time he say the motherboard which came on that day was DOA, there was no power button problem, and then started to say that they have called someone else not me. Later on owner of that place and Mr. Sachin promise me that he will deliver the laptop at my office on Monday he has given me in writing and now it’s 9.20 evening I haven’t get my laptop yet. This kind of excuse I have never expected from a Company like Acer and this kind off worst service centre I have never seen in my IT career of 18 years.

                      And when today I have called at your service centre Mr. Abhishek was helpless since it’s 7.30

                      I am really going to take shoot this email in IT magazine , U people need a lesson. Just wait and watch…

                          Unfortunately has not been delivered to me. The only delivery attempt was on 10/03/2010 of which there was nobody in the house to sign or collect the item. the driver or whoever [called SAM] came left a note that says and i quote "SORRY WE MISSED YOU". That was 10/03/2010 at 3pm. Since then nobody has come to deliver anything to me personally or any member of my family.I called dhl last friday {12/03/2010] and they promised to deliver again on 16/03/2010. Now tell me if the item has been delivered, how on earth will it be delivered again on 16/03/2010?

                          Please i am not interested in all this story. The driver who delivered i hope has not died, nor gone abroad. ALL AM ASKING FOR IS MY LAPTOP FROM ACER. NO REPLACEMENT AS I HAVE SOME USEFULL DATA OF WHICH THE LOST OF IT WILL BE SERRIOUS.

                            I had purchased an Acer D-725 (Serial NoLXN440C047936BF8622200) on 23rd October 2009 from M2K INFOTEK at Dhanbad (Jharkhand). Bill no. is M2K/945. However, from last 15 day the lap top has been giving me problems in its DVD ROM. DVD ROM is not working properly.

                            I am absolutely amazed as to how such a defective piece passed your quality checks especially in the view of you being one of the best known names in the business. This defect has made me take leave just to hand over and collect the lap top. Further, this has put me into so much of an ordeal that I had to borrow a machine to complete my various tasks. Despite your assurances I am not all convinced that this issue will be rectified and till then I have to make alternate arrangements so as to carry on my daily routine tasks.

                                I have purchased a ACER ASPIRE 4736Z computer in Januray 2010. Once earlier the laptop was sent to them with subject complaint in February 2010. The laptop is again giving same problem. Can I ask for the replacement of the laptop. Is it legally covered that product giving such recurrent problem may get replacement. Please guide me. Thanks.

                                  I have purchased Acer Notebook vide Invoice No: RET_TI_1, Book No: 1, Dated: 9th Apr 2009 Thursday from Acer Mall - Sigma I.T. Super Store (P) Ltd.
                                  The Notebook details are as below:

                                  Model No: Aspire D250
                                  Serial No: LUS570B2779112BE2B[protected]

                                  This notebook start malfunctioning on 16th Feb 2010 and as a result stop booting.

                                  Taking an initiative, I have immeditely deposited aforesaid notebook to Acer Service Center: Digital Solutions, Lucknow on 19th Feb 2010 3:30 PM vide Case Ref. No:[protected]. But after initial investigation by the service center, it has been said that we have to pay for any replacement/repair whereas this Notebook is still under warranty.

                                  Kindly take appropriate action and provide hassle free services as per the warrany norms so that I may feel that I have purchased right product from a renowned company which comes under Fortune 500 category.

                                    I Thanks God that acer is responding & Thanks our Forum for giving us time and space.The copy of E-Mail sent by me to acer customer care about my feelings is give here.

                                    One month have been passed and we are still on the ground, your reply
                                    (we have checked this monitor warranty details and found Acer india
                                    Pvt Ltd has not sold this monitor.Hence request you to pls contact the
                                    dealer/seller to avail the support.) is very
                                    humiliating,disgusting,irritating
                                    and like you are laughing on me.
                                    My problem is that I myself, is a newly retired person and computer is
                                    now the only hobby.After this tragedy my son has taken away my old but
                                    gold monitor.He is a very busy person, as the trend is, in young
                                    generation.You know it very well and exploiting them.You know it very
                                    well that our younger generation is too busy to follow you.
                                    What support we will get from the dealer is evident to me, you and
                                    every body,as its your day today business.
                                    But three things you should know about-
                                    1) We have a receipt/cash memo of the amount payed.
                                    2) Paid the Sells-Tax to the government.
                                    3) Registered the said Monitor at your Web-Site after purchase.
                                    Now if it is not one that,you have sold, then why are you accepting
                                    the registration on your Web.
                                    After the registration the customer thinks that he has purchased the
                                    genuine product of such a reputed company like ACER.
                                    At last I think that you are completely responsible for, the fault in
                                    your product and to repaire it in the warranty period and also to the
                                    time waisted by you.
                                    So please do your duty quickly.

                                    I am engg. student I had purchased an ACER LCD MONITOR on 3 months ago. on 23rd sep 2010. I had display problem in it. I had registerd my complaint on ACER service toll free no.[protected] on 23rd. sep. 2010 with complaint id:[protected]. and get the promise that before 4 th oct. 2010 I will get the new LCD sreen. but now upto today I am waiting for the replacement. Everyday I am calling their toll free no. but no positive responce i am getting instead of another promise for delievery of monitor. Sir I am pursuing my engg. so have lot's of work on computer & without monitor their is no meaning of compurer & I have to pay lot's of penny to cyber cafe for competing my project work and assignment.
                                    Sir It is my kindly request to you please go through my problem quickly as possible & save my RIGHTS as a CONSUMER.

                                      Hi Sir/Mam,

                                      I'am G.Yaswanth Kumar,from Gurgaon.Recently my Acer(3620 Model)laptop got virus and it's OS (Microsoft XP 2) got corrupted.

                                      On 22/12/2009 I went to Digitech Services Pvt.Ltd, which is a authorized service center for Acer,they told that my OS got corrupted so OS shall be reinstalled.They have billed me Rs.3700/- for
                                      1. RAM up-gradation(Rs.2700/-)
                                      2. OS reinstalling(Rs.1000/-) and to repair Fan
                                      I have paid Rs.1500/- as advance.

                                      At first they told that Windows 7 will be installed on my laptop including drivers.But,at the time of delivery I found that drivers are not installed properly.They told some problem with my Laptop configuration and so
                                      Windows 7 cannot be installed on my Laptop.Later,they have installed Windows Xp2 including drivers.

                                      But, when I came home and after 2 hours I got the same problem as earlier(OS corruption).This time instead of going to them(as I was vexed with delaying work and telling stories) I have done some google and solved the problem.After that it worked fine.

                                      But,during online upgrading of Windows Xp2 validation failed.As a Authorized service center they have installed an Pirated windows Xp 2 on my Laptop.Now,I have to buy a new Original windows Xp. And now, even the Fan problem is reproduced.

                                      My complaint is on Digitech Services Pvt.Ltd,Guragaon for:

                                      1. Installing Pirated Windows Xp 2 on my Laptop
                                      2. Not repairing my Laptop properly(OS corruption, virus and Fan problems)
                                      3. Not returning the Old RAM (512 MB)

                                        With reference to my complaint dated 26 Feb 2010.
                                        My son Ateeq ur Rehman purchased acer LCD monitor Model No- AL 2017 A having Serial Number : ETL[protected] ON 6TH of Sept 2007 from Cost to Cost at Nehru Place. But it is not working now.Even after repeated requests their customer care service is not responding.I think that their market sell in our country is so high that they don`t need to care about their customers or consumer forum or even consumer courts.On telephone they talk irresponsibly and don`t respond E-mails.
                                        If the serial no.does not match with their data bank then why do they registered the same Serial number at their web site successfully after the purchase.
                                        This attitude of such a reputed company is very dangerous for general public they are exploiting us knowingly.On other hand the government is giving all the benefits for these foreign brands and no protection for us.
                                        When we talk to the shopkeepers in the market(Nehru place),they told us that ACER is closing their business in INDIA soon .If it is correct then who will be responsible to our loss and agony.I have only faith on the consumer forum and the sufferers, please unite help each other and respond.
