Hello Sir,
Acer India Pvt ltd.

I bought the acer aspire 4736Z series on Nov-09, from that time till now 2 times i had to face problem.

It got shut down twice n didnt start, for the irst time i went to the same shop and tehy did factotry settings , after 2 months same thing happend.
This time i should to the service center in Langford road, they said may my OS got corrupt. So they instauled new OS and gave me a new hard disk saying that to avoid further problem but my hard disk was all fine .

Today i asked them to give my hard disk s that i can take out my all files but they denied saying that to get a new one thay have given it to the whitefield office and cant return.

WITHOUT MY PERMISSION OR PRIOR CONCERN HE DID THIS.NOW I WANT MY FILES.

THE SERVICE PROVIDED WAS WORST AS THE SERVICE BOY DID'T HAD ANY ANSWER TO MY QUERIES. LESS TECHNICAL KNOWLEDGE.

THE head of the center is MR.RAMANI.

I want him to take action and get back my hard disk.

My boss Acer Laptop purchased few months ago and bill of acer laptop is missing. Acer Laptop Manufacturing is 08/2009. I went to Amritsar Service Centre, Opp. GND University, Amritsar. But he said to me first provide the bill then i attend and see your laptop.

This is to bring to your notice that i purchased my laptop in the month of June 2011.
And started facing problem w.r.t Battery Backup in 10th month of my purchase.

I called the customer care for the same but no solution was provided.
Once i visited on of the service center near Laxmi Nagar(Near V3S mall), but i was surprised to hear from them that my
battery is giving backup of 2-3 hrs. but it was a blatant false because actually battery backup were of less than an hrs.
Surprisingly i checked the battery backup once again but same result .

I WONDER what kind of equipment do they use for checking the battery Backup.
Being such an renounced company but such a bad customer service.

Only in 1 yr if laptop is giving less than an hr (45 min appox.) battery backup is an big manufacturing issue.
I am really pissed off from the service of this company never in my life going to purchase this product nor do i will suggest anybody.

    This is to bring to your notice about the misbehavior of your Service Center manager namely Mr. Rajendra Shah posted at Surat(Gujarat) dated 26th July 2010 at 4:10pm.
    The matter goes like this:
    I had some issues with charger so when in morning I called call center (technical support) they told me that first show it to the service center and then after we'll generate the complaint ID for you and when I went to service center they were not ready to entertain me without the complaint ID and because of this I got late to office by 2.5hrs,till this level of inconvenience also I didn’t mind but at 4:00pm when I went again with the complaint ID they found it incorrect somehow and asked me to sit there and wait for the SMS to come and then only I'll be entertained despite that they were able to see my ID in their system and found it incorrect but gave me this information later after I called to higher authority Mr.Paresh at Ahmedabad, so I got angry at the service center manager and what he said is as follows in a very high pitch and with abusive language:
    "I am oblidging you by giving adapter from my stock and you are talking to me like this,you dont have right to talk like this and that do whatever you can and keep sitting I won't replace it even after 10 days"

    Is this the way a troubled customer should be looked after???
    Is this expected from the MNC like Acer Co. Pvt. Ltd.????
    Does the customer doesn’t even owe right to yell at the end of the day after so much trouble????

    Customer is the king of the market, he/she can expect such level of indignity, insult???
    absolutely mate plz get to the consumer court because of some like this a brand gets blamed.go ahead mate we still have a very good judiciary system so fck these guys speacially that take care and best of luck.

      This is to inform you that one of my customer has bought ACER 5738 Laptop from my retail outlet but when he faced some technical problem in that he went to your service centre at Tonk Road-Jaipur.
      The behavior of your staff Mr. Vikas was totally unprofessional and intolerable. He said to customer
      1. This model is a discontinued model and the retailer has forced you to buy a product which is out of market since Jan.
      2. You have paid Rs.33995 for a model with core 2 duo processor which is foolishness. If you would have come to us we have given you corei3 model at cheaper price.
      3. We will not give you any service in this go to the retailer and tell them to give the service.

      If this is the service standard of your company I am afraid how would I sell your product. It is also very unfortunate that I have also bought ACER I don’t know what kind of problem I am going to face in future.
      If there is any kind of seriousness in your company regarding customer service, I expect a call from you.

        I had purchased Acer Aspire 5740 G Laptop from CROMA (A TATA enterprise) at T.Nagar, Chennai on 17 May 2010 (Serial No. LXPMBO [protected]F4200). From day one the laptop started giving trouble. Junk charecters appeared intermittantly on display and followed by that the system started to hang. Some time the display goes off and the system started to hang.

        I complained to customer service Ref ID[protected].
        They told to do defrag and disk clean up (for the new laptop ?!) And report back. Still the problem persisted. Then they told to Restore the system to Factory default and report. Then also the problem not resolved. Finally they told they will assign the call to service centre Redington (India) Ltd and promised to send the address by SMS and gave telephone Number. I did not received the SMS. The telephone No provided was not in existence[protected]!. Finally I could locate the service centre taking one day Leave to my office. They said No such call assigned to them. Then again I made a call and registered my complaint with Ref ID[protected] and wanted the product to be replaced since the problem is there from day One. The call centre girl not accepted that and just said to hand over laptop to service centre and they will resolve.

        The service centre returned the laptop after 2 days stating Refix the RAM. No problem found, laptop is working fine. The same day after reaching home I found that the display goes off and the system started to hang.

        Now againg I have to take one day leave to my office, take Auto rick and go to the service centre to continue with the ordeal again. I feel miserable for such MNC companies who cheat Indians by selling sub standard products with out Quality control. I feel like comitting suicide for failue of the laptop which I purchased after saving for 10 years.
        Company like TATA should not deal such low quality MNC products and cheat.

          Dear Sir,

          I have purcahed the Acer Desktop Q-4830 ( Sr no. AWS23DS[protected]XE) on 26th Jan-2010 from Croma Obrio Goregaon East Mumbai. I am facing problem from date of purchase but dealer and Acer is not giving me satisfactory answer for the same. It seems that the prodct is faulty as I am unable to use the product last 2 months. I have made a lot of complaints to dealer & Acer also but still they have not able to resolve the problem. I have requested to dealer for replacment of the product but they have refused.

          Requested appropreiate action.

            Acer Relocation is cheating people in your name. They are taking money acting as your agent. We sincerely belie that your intervention is necessary to stop these fraudsters. If you do not believe, then please make a call to their executive pretending as a customer. Then ask them if they insure goods and who is the insurance agent. They will mention that their insurance agent is United India Insurance.

            I have been a victim of them and they took almost Rs.7000 from me to insure my goods while moving from Chennai to Delhi, however, they did not provide me a copy of the same. My goods were stolen during the transit and also most of them were damaged. But I did not get any damages or compensation.

            I wish to create awareness amongst all the people including Police and Income Tax Authorities that Acer relocations are involved in money laundering activities and are evading most forms of tax – income tax, service tax etc.

            I have done some search and have come across similar instances where others have also been cheated in exactly the same fashion as I was. Please spend 5 minutes to think and take some action. Your action will help innocent people save their hard earned money.

            For security reasons I cannot disclose my name as Acer Relocation can be a life threat to me. I beg for your help.

              Acer aspire series laptop model AS3810TZ purchased on 12-4-10, developed fault on monitor when contacted their service centre they damaged the monitor screen while inspecting fault. Since then I have been running pillar to post contacting Acer's mumbai office, their service centre at vashi,new mumbai, Acer's Head office at Bangalore(Mr Sudhin Dev) to resolve my problem, but though more than a month has passed i have received nothing but false assurances whenever I called.The company or its staff or service centre have never ever cared to call and give me feedback on progress of my complaint. My office work is piling up since my computer is faulty, I am totally harassed after buying ACER LAPTOP

              Acer — Faulty PC

              Sir,
              I have purchased new desktop PC with Sr.No. AWS23DS[protected]LE from M/S Jain Traders Thane vide their Bill No. 5127 Dt. 19.08.09 amounting Rs.25000/-
              from then I have gaon through the following problems
              1) It was told that you will get assured gift,but when checked the date was passed.
              2) For installation of O.S. I have paid separately.
              3) Then there was the problem of Display & CD ROM for which I called your service centre with case ID's[protected]
              [protected]
              4) Then there was the problem of CD ROM & O.S. because when I shut down PC it was automatically getting ON. I had gaon for new case ID[protected].
              5) He checked but asked for installation of O.S. again for which I have paid separately and your mechnic told the problem with either motherboard or SMPS.
              6) Still now the problem Switching On after I shut down PC is nt solved.
              So please tell me why shall I suffer, why shall I waste money on Installation of OS & telephone?
              Please do the needful.

                Acer Aspire 4736Z — adaptor not given back after repair

                I bought acer aspire 4736Z in june 2010 & it's adaptor ceased to work properly in august 2010. I registered complaint & submitted the adaptor to the service center in Karnal (Hannu Services). Since then there hasn't been any positive response from the service center. They had not returned me the adaptor & they showed against my case id that they had returned the adaptor to me. My case id is 081710/310. I want to have strict action against this carelessness.

                  Dear Sir,

                  We have purchased Acer 4740 laptop from Datacare on 18th June 2010. (copy enclosed). This Acer laptop we have sold to NRG Industries on 23rd June. The customer came back to us on 29th June with the complaint that the laptop is getting restarted within 10 minutes time. We immediately reported the problem to Datacare. We sent the laptop at your service center. Your technician requested us to visit Acer Service center and assured us that at service center we will get the laptop repaired in one day time. Accordingly we handed over the laptop at Acer service center on 30th June. Now it is more than 10 days we have not received the laptop. Whenever we call at the service center they are not able to tell us what is the exact problem.

                  In the meanwhile the customer is not ready to accept the repaired laptop. He is asking for the replacement piece. The customer has given us post dated cheque and he is saying if he do not get the replacement he will stop the payment. Even he has said that he will go to consumer court as well. ( in spite of this we assure you that the PDC which is given by Asian Data to Datacare will get honored)

                  Just because of the relationship we have with Datacare we manage to pacify the customer so far.

                  I am having communication with Mr.Deepak Lohar for the last 10 days almost every day. I have requested to take the matter seriously and put the request for the replacement piece. But I don’t what is stopping him from claiming a replacement piece from Acer.

                  Once again I thank you for the co-operation so far in this matter.

                      06/07/2010 - POOR ACER SERVICE AND NO ONE TO TALK

                      The Laptop has been twice in the repair service for almost 2 months and technical service team did not found and did not solve the problem of the black screen while you turn on the power.

                      The customer service and the technical team are ignorant, not helpful and not professional team of worker and you do not have anyone that you can talk to. Even the manager of the service support did not try to help and to understand and after the second time the laptop came back unrepaired.

                      I am very disappointed of Acer service and very poor quality of laptop .

                      Even you cannot complaint on the website - no process can be found at all.

                        My ACER LCD Monitor has developed a thin red vertical line on the RHS of the monitor screen. I complained. Details are given above. No action has been taken so far. Toll free phone line is getting disconnected the moment I am saying to the customer care exec. that I'm following up on a complain. I accessed the ACER official site which shows that MY MONITOR HAS ALREADY BEEN REPAIRED, whereas, actually, nobody has communicated to me till date.

                        Did a ghost come to my house and serviced the monitor (but failed to repair)?
                        Is this the way ACER cheats? Are they cheats in the guise of a corporate entity?
                        Do they think that customers are so gullible that they won't take any action against them?

                        I completely agree,
                        i had a same problem with my acer monitor.
                        i had 19'acer monitor which is still under warranty.on the monitor many black spots & some sharp vertical red lines has appeared.on complain whn acer engineer visit at my place, he told me this is a physical damage.engineer told me that black spot are the dust particle that stick onthe screen from inner side & the red line are due this dust particles. he say reparing charge will 2500/- . Its better to buy new monitor of some other brand rather than reparing this old acer one. plz dont buy acer monitors they are cheap incase price as well as QUALITY
                        same prob wid my lcd monitor...these acer guys are really fraud...no help frm any side...plz dnt buy acer products...

                          I have purchased a Laptop Acer Aspire NB 5542-302G25 XL8401 from Croma,Centre Squire Mall,Near Sarabhai Circle,Vadodara (Guj.) after motivating Tata Poton-plus internet device is to be received Rs.750/- only. but I regret to inform you that at the time of collection of this device, Redumption of approval letter coupon could not be prepared and they refused stating that this model of acer is new model and it has not been included in the list of Tata photon-plus scheme. I am very disappointed hearing this, before purchase of laptop Croma people and Tata peoples has stated scheme covers all acer models. I have purchased ascer laptop only inspired by the scheme. I will be always sad due to this incident.

                          You are requested to include this model also in the list of the above said scheme to enable me to receive the Tata Photon-plus internet scheme or please arrange to give me benefit of this scheme.

                          My notebook serial no. is- LXAKV0C0118070F3072502, I am Gaurav
                          Kumar Agrahari. My case ID is[protected] which is registered on
                          26-june-2010. But my problem is not solved from acer service center of
                          Gorakhpur and also it(case id) is closed from acer service center.
                          Then i complaint again on 30-oct-2010 , which case ID is[protected],
                          it is also awaited for part . So, from 6 month i am waiting for my
                          part, then you have to increase my extended warranty period. So, please reply and solve
                          this matter.

                              I am Saravanan, I brought Acer 5740 laptop last month... While i was working in that... Its automatically switched off, later its not booting and then i made a call to the acer toll free number they registered the complaint and went to the service center they told to me your hardisk got crashed we can replace the hardisk given back to you.... I asked them what abt my data.. they told to me that we are not responsible for that.. Is there any solution for that to get back my data.

                              That was a bummer.Personally when my hard drive crashes am so frustrated.That was not a good experience at all and it was not fair for them to tell you that it was none of their business.It is good to always have backups and i personally have a laptop but i use an online backup called safecopy backup.Here if my hard drive crashes am at peace because i know my data is safe and if i delete anything by mistake i can recover them back by just a few clicks.Now they are offering a free unlimited 5GB free trial and they have also upgraded all the spaces for example from 150GB to 200GB only at 50bucks per year.So please i recommend safecopy backup for data security
                              Awww! Am worried that you may lose your data forever. Try googling up recovery softwares, perhaps you land on one that will help you out. (Note that it's costly and no guarantee that you'll get back everything).

                              Also, learn to backup online. It's safer. I also vote for safecopybackup cuz it's done more good than harm and easy to use. Good luck.

                                Dear sir, Subject:-Complaint of laptop keys
                                I purchased Acer As 5738Z Sno.LXPAROC02691914E372000 through Computer systems & services Main road, Ranchi-834001 on dt.01.09.09 and after two months keys created problem for which I complaint your service center:Suit no.310-311,3rd floor commerce house,sardar babu lane, Ranchi, they repair it three times but keys created problems regularly. The service center suggest me to complaint the costumer care,if they permit we will change your keyboard,I complaint to costumer care on 26.04.2010 and now on 15.06.2010 they declare that keys are physical damage so they can't change keyboard in warranty.
                                I hope that I repaired my keys in yr service center 3times from last 5months and now another keys are also going jam so this is my kindly request to you to allow to change keyboard to your service center immediately or I will be compelled to knock the door of consumer court and for all expenses you will liable for same.

                                ACER ASPIRE NOTEBOOK — keyboard switches damage

                                DEAR, sir.

                                I am Mr. Hiren Padaliya complaint here for my acer aspire 5738 system problem
                                my acer aspire 5738 notebook is in warranty period its some key board switches are damaged its description is as follow

                                1) key board "up arrow" key is completely damaged.
                                2) shift key does not press
                                3) space key also does not press.

                                please, consider my complaint and give me a complaint number and suggest me a solution for this issue. and give me a quick reply for solution.

                                  I bought an Acer laptop- TravelMate4730 on 01/08/2009. Serial no. LXTQ60C0168360DE221601

                                  The laptop was not functioning well and would shut down abruptly. Within the first 5 months I had to go to the Acer service centres twice. They changed the motherboard and the RAM of my laptop.

                                  After a few weeks the problem again occured. So, I took the laptop to the service centre for the third time. Again they changed the motherboard and laptop. They returned the laptop after 25 days.

                                  Now, the very day when I got back the laptop, the laptop again shut down abruptly not to start again. I am tired and fed up of going to the service centres again and again.

                                    Acer Relocations Packers and Movers head office - Bangalore are complete fraud.

                                    1. They took Rs. 6,000 in the name o[censored]nited India Insurance for insuring the goods for transport from Bangalore to Kolkata and they did not insure the goods and never provided me the insurance policy. They cheated and took this money in their own name.

                                    2. My goods were damaged during the transit. I suffered a damage of Rs. 50,000. They never repaired and I did not get any insurance claim.

                                    3. Valuables worth Rs. 40,000 were stolen during the transit - the cartons were opened during the transit, goods were removed and the cartons were sealed back.

                                    4. Once my goods were loaded in Bangalore, they refused to accept a cheque. They said they can accept the cheque only if I made a full payment.

                                    5. Once the goods came to Kolkat - they said I would have to pay extra Rs. 10,000 (over and above the agreed contract price) to get the delivery of my goods. I had no option but to pay as my goods were in their control.

                                    6. Acer did not do the packing and transport themselves - they outsourced it to Sharma Packers. Who charged me addtionally - once again they said if you want the delivery you have to pay Rs. 10,000. This was a daylight robbery.

                                    All the persons speak foul language and abuse the customer when you have paid the full dues. Once they get full payment, they do not respond to calls.

                                    Be very careful, you will feel miserable if you engage them. Your goods will be damaged and stolen. You will be abused, they will intentionally not deliver the goods on time to blackmail you and force you to make extra payment.

                                    I would request Karnataka Police to stop this cheaters.

                                    Victim in pain, agony and mental distress.

                                    Acer Relocation - Fraud — Acer Relocation is a Fraud & Cheat

                                    Beware - Acer Relocations based in bangalore are complete fraud. They steal goods during transit and also do not answer any calls if you want to speak to them for complaints. They will not respond to your call once you have paid the entire money. They do not own their trucks - they hire local vendors for transport which damages your goods. They are pathetic in packing and loading. Trust me - you will feel miserable if you use their services. They will promise for doing the work for a very low fee to attract customers (say Rs. 25,000) but once the goods are loaded in their truck - they will ask for more money. They will not deliver your goods untill and unless you pay extra money - which can go up to Rs. 8,000 - Rs. 10,000. They do not value their words and they are complete cheat.

                                    They do not pay service tax, they do not accept cheque - entire payment in cash - so that they do not have to pay tax. They take money from customers for insurance - but they do not insure the goods. They are day light robbers.

                                      Acer Relocations - based out in Bangalore and operating in all cities - Chennai, Delhi, Kolkata Bangalore etc. are complete fraud.

                                      This packer and mover company is a fraud. They cheated me. Some really bad experience below:

                                      1. They took Rs. 5,000 in the name o[censored]nited India Insurance for insuring my goods for transport from Chennai to Delhi. They never the goods and never provided me the the copy of the insurance policy. They pocketed this money.

                                      2. Their packing was pathetic and most of my goods were damaged during the transit. They never repaired them and I did not get any insurance claim either (because there was no insurance done).

                                      3. Most of my valuables were stolen during the transit - the sealed cartons were opened during the transit, goods were removed and the cartons were sealed back. Once again - as the goods were not insured I did not get any claim.

                                      4. Not only this, once my goods were loaded in Chennai, they said it is the Company's rule that they accept payment only in cash. They refused to accept a cheque. After lot of request, they said they can accept the cheque only if I made a full payment. I did not have cash and so I had to make a full payment. This was my biggest mistake.

                                      5. Once the goods came to Delhi - they said I would have to pay another Rs. 5,000 (over and above the agreed contract price) to get the delivery of my goods - this was a complete cheating. I had no option but to pay as my goods were in their control.

                                      Once they have got all the money and cheated me, they are not responding to my calls. Please note the following number and the name of the persons involved in the scam:

                                        I have registered complain of customer done fraud with us giving us cheque of dormat ac. He has already taken laptop and now no sign of his yet. As per telephonic talk with Customer Care, I am forwarding you the details of laptop, as the customer has done fraud has bought this laptop from "ShallomSC" Surat, Gujarat and has give the cheque of Dormat AC/Inoperative AC of Bank of Baroda, Shahopre Branch, Surat. Even Customer Name "Sanjay R Gupta" "Rajesh" has given also fake number and address.

                                        This Sanjay and Rajesh as per the name they told me might have sold this laptop. Kindly HELP.

                                        Acer Laptop — fraud

                                        i have purchased my acer laptop Aspire 4720Z-3A2G16Mi....serial number...LXAL80C[protected]...DATED july 2008...after 11 month my disk drive failed to work and i gave to lajpat nagar service station..they promised to replace with a new drive but they fooled me and replaced a old drive instead of new one and within one month that drive also failed to work...when i complained about that they told me that your warranty period is over...i feel cheated...and decided to go in consumer forum...please take due notice of my complain to avoid further fraud commited by these customer support service station..
                                        i have purchased acer laptop 4-5 months back n that was my bigger mistake to purchase acer.
                                        the quality of product is vry much poor, 1st its charger was stoped working, n then the quality of the bag is even poor, even after very much care it damages. laptop is loosing its body colour after that much care. i m ashamed to buy acer.
                                        even u all are doing fraud...
