i have been using an aircel sim for last 2 and 1/2 months. my phone number is [protected]. the problem is that i have been receiving phone calls reguarding advertisement, voice calls many times a day. also there are sms-s reguarding advertisement from various toll free numbers, most of them are spam messages. these are very disturbing for a person....such phone calls are very irritating and disturb me. i visited their website and saw a scheme START DND TO 1909 to stop these. but it was an invalid code. i also requested a complaint on their website and filled a form reguarding this giving my personal details
Dear Customer,

This is in regards to the complaint posted on 9th May 2011 . To avoid all the advertising and marketing calls and SMS you have to register your number for NDNC . The process for the same is as follows, send sms "START" space "0" to 1909.

When I send the SMS "START" "0" to 1909, I got the ack from Aircel that "Dear Customer, Sorry, We can not process your request. <BR>Please try again later.
My mobile no. is [protected].

I also get the same message back from Aircel "Dear Customer, Sorry, We can not process your request. Please try again later."

Why the request cannot be processed. There is no explanation and there is no timeline for me to wait.

    I bought an aircel prepaid simcard and used it for an year. I lost the sim card some day. I enquired with aircel customer care how to recover it. He said it is free of cost and can be recovered from any customer care office. But when i reached the office, he demanded 100 rs. I gave him anyway. But after two days, when i kept in my mobile. It says SIMCARD rejected. When i asked him, he says you kept simcard in your pocket so it is rejected.

      i am Ramamoorthy, i am using two aircel prepaid service, mobile number [protected] and [protected]. unwanted advertisement call and sms coming to my mobile often ie. many times per day. this call and sms giving disturbance to me and i cannot concentrate my work. here after i like to stop this kind call and sms immediately. kindly take necessary steps to prevent this advertisement call and unwanted sms.

      I am facing problem with some unwanted calls.

      Aircel — unnecessary call and sms

      i have an aircel no.[protected] last 1to more year. i have regiser for DND but they will not take any action about this DND and they send me reguler sms to my no. when we call io costomer care they answerd me to plese send DND massage when we Massege sand for dnd They again sand us unwanted massege and call
      i had pay money for the whole month Internet pack, but after working of abt 15 day, its dont work properly, I complain it to the Aircel customer care - (complain no - 1-[protected]) Date - 26 feb. 2010. the customer care promise that the problem will be shoulve withen 72 hours. but after passing of so many day the problem is still same.
      Strange once the DND is activated these calls and messages are blocked. There must be some technical error, just try and get in touch with the nearest Aircel store and they will help you with it.

      I am customer of Aircel Mobile service provider being connection Nos. (0)[protected] & (0)[protected]. I was registered at DND through Aircel and they assured me that on and from 25th March, 2011 every unauthorised Phone Call and SMS will stop in my numbers and also when I contact with Aircle Customer Care Service they have charged Rs. .50/- me on every 3 minutes. But till to-day that DND service not activated in my numbers and also second time I was contacted with the customer care of Aircle and they assured me by same manner. In this aforesaid I am fell so disturb. Please take steps. With regards.

      I am also victim of same problem. My aircel no +91 [protected]. I have enabled DND on 1-Mar. After 1 month also I am getting calls. I have complained to customer care, But no use. Just the assurance is given when we talk.I am getting calls everyday morning 7:50 AM to 8:10 from same no +9155011. It irritates heavily. I am planing to complain to TRAI if it continues.

      Aircel — unauthorised deduction of rupees by sending sms

      I am customer of Aircel Mobile service provider being connection No. (0)[protected].         I was PORT my number ([protected]) from Airtet to Aircel and forwarded my request on 29.4.2011 (UPID – AD194189). On 05.04.2011my Airte services barred and I used my Aircel sim but it was not in working condition. I called Aircel officer (Mr. Kulwant Singh, mobile no. [protected]) and he insured me that number would be operational within 24hrs but it was not operational after 48hrs. I tried to Mr Kulwant so many times but he does not pick my call.
        At last I called to Call Center tell him my situation, they informed me that ur request is still in progress and they are unable to tell me how much time they will take for activation.
        I never ever expect such kind of services from AIRCEL and the kind of attitude shown by Aircel executive is totally irresponsible.

        Kindly help me out.

                Hi Everyone,

                I am Venkatesh, [protected], from chennai. I am using Aircel Prepaid connection for 4 years and changed to Postpaid connection before 6 months.
                As I was getting billed for extra amount than I expected, I chose a option to move my connection to Prepaid. When I had asked Aircel, OMR, showroom for the same on November month end of 2012, they simply asked me to wait till December 1st week as the process will start at that time only. I waited. When it was December 1st week I again had gone to inquire about the migration. In that time, they asked me to wait till December last week. I waited.
                I again had gone in the last week of December, they asked me to wait till January 1st week. I had waited. Things went like this. Finally, it is January last week. when I went t the show room for inquiring about the migration, they are saying wait till 1st week of February. I dono what is happening with Aircel. Simply testing patience of Customers. Because of this tension, I had also got mental pressure and not able to plan outing with friends as I was visiting Aircel, OMR, showroom often.

                Kindly provide suggestion to get rid of this issue.

                    sir my Aircel number is [protected] and i want to change the company to MTS. When i was sending message to generate upc code the aircel company did not give me the upc code after sending sms. they deduct money also. i am trying to call aircel customer care but it is blocked by them. i dont know what to do. i just want to change the Aircel to some other operator. Please help me out and i request TRAI to see what is going on in Aircel company they doesnot provide upc code to the customers. This is not going fair enough. I hope my problem will resolve by appropriate authority by soon as possible.

                        I have been recharged for 70.Rs full talk time, i used my balance for 5.Rs and the next day my account balance is just 6.Rs. We called to aircel customer care that it has been activated music.

                        we said that we didn't kept any anything and they said that it has been activated from january.

                        They took my money now and saying four months charges and there is no 4 months subscription in that aircel service.

                        Aircel — false charge of dialer tune and harassment

                        Respected sir,
                        The charge of Dialer tune is taken which is activated on the prepaid connection (No- [protected] Aircel Kolkata) without my permission. I have informed to customer care executive on that day from that time more than two times. They informed me that it was actived by an OBD call which was promotional incoming call from network. But I am sure that I have not pressed any key to active on that call or any other. I, therefore, asked them which key I have pressed to active it. They were unable to inform. So, they demanded 72 hours to solve the query. The Complain no was P[protected] on 24th august 2009. After the next 72 hours I was not got any response. After 72 hours, again I have complained on that. Then, they informed me that the charge of the dialer tune should be returned within 72 hours and of cause the dialer tune should be deactivate. Again they gave complain no R[protected] on 27th august 2009. Again I was not got any response. After 72 hours again I have informed that then refused to return the charge. Then I told them that I should complain to consumer forum for this harassment. But till neither the charge is returned nor is the dialer tune deactivate. And over that the charge is taking in every day.
                        I, therefore, request you to kindly please inquiry on that to find the fault and after that help me to recovery the false charge from Aircel

                        It seems you are quite irritated by the whole issue. However I feel its too petty to worry about – you just need to visit the nearest AIrcel store and speak to the nodal officer there. I am sure he would look into this immediately. Do carry your complaint number for reference.

                        Aircel — caller tune have been subscribed automatically and charging rs 7 unnecessarily

                        Hope you have not by any chance or mistake said yes or opted for the service… if not just speak to the customer care and I am sure they would give you a quick solution..
                        I have recently PORT my Reliance mobile number ([protected]) to AIRCEL. A few days earlier I have a call from AIRCEL customer care, offering me 5000 SMS for one months. She gave me just one condition that I must have minimum balance of Rs49. She confirm me no any charge will be deducted from my mobile balance. But after two days I realize that they deduct Rs49/- from my account balance.

                        After that I call many times to the customer care. Every time they suggest me a different option.

                        Now I want to back my money.

                        I request you, please take a hard step to stop this kind of public harassment by the mobile operators.

                        Since a week, I am getting SMS from fraud mobile No.[protected](SMS centre.com) regarding winning LOTTERY. I am not able to understand that from where my Nos is detected from your data bank and more over which I do not like promo call. Requested to look into this matter and spam this nos to all concerned mobiles to reduce exploitation by like this frauds.

                        My phone number is [protected]. 12/03/2013 I got an SMS from DD-AIRCEL. Please find below the content of that SMS.

                        &quot;You have been renewed for Aircel Video Club. You have been charged Rs.10.0 for 7 days.&quot;

                        Normally I ignored those SMS&#039;s which comes without number. Today when I noticed that SMS, I am very much surprised (As I haven&#039;t activated it but they have renewed it. What a joke ) and called your Customer care executive (198) and the customer care guy told me that &quot;There is no activation information even in his system but it&#039;s not possible to refund my money as I have called after 2 days (As per Aircel policy). When I told him that share that policy with me then he replied rudely that it&#039;s not possible to share the policy and visit our office for further information. When I asked him to transfer my call to his supervisor then he transferred my call to another number but nobody picked up my call even after ringing for 1 to 2 minutes.                         Again[protected] I got another SMS. This time they have activated Aircel Music connect service. But this time I saw and called 198(Complain service) to unsubscribe the service and refund my money within 5-10 minutes. They replied me that they have created one complaint request and I will receive my money within 2 days. But 22nd March, I called again as I haven&#039;t received my money. This time they gave me a service request number (1-[protected]) and told me that I will definitely receive my money within 2 days. Till now there is no news of refund. So, today I called again but this time they told me it&#039;s not possible to refund as there is no request of refund against my complain. Then when I asked them to tell me the exact reason then she just drop my call without answering my question. I called again and this time also she cut the call without answering my question. I think this is the best customer care service of AIRCEL.

                        Now I want my money back.

                        I request you, please take a hard step to stop this kind of public harassment by the mobile operators.
                        I recharged with 198 rs as per aircel&#039;s pocket internet plan on sat 22/06/2013, and received 500mb of 3g. I exhausted my 500mb and still had some urgent work to do so again I recharged with 67 rs on 24/6/2013, however so far that recharge has given me nothing. The recharge was successful but I did not receive any 3g balance( should hv received 250mb). When I check with complaint dept. They told me they were having a system upgrade and I will receive my balance shortly. When I did not I called customer care/technical support this time and the guy with very poor english told me that despite my recharge he could not see any 3g balance on my account and asked me to contact complain dept on 198. Now whenever I try to speak to someone at 198 after an auto recording o[censored]seless offers I am told by the ivr that all agents are busy/heavy network traffic and my line is disconnected. So that means my 67 rs was stolen by Aircel and I cannot even ask for any assistance. And mover the 2g speed is also v v poor and there is nothing I can do. Bloody thieves is what they are.

                            I am R.Arun, I have using the AIRCEL service from 2007 onwards,
                            Presently government announced the change the service provider without
                            number changing and AIRCEL also problem for me bills was not received
                            for last 4 months, bills amount also high and network compliant also
                            high. I have change the service provider because above said problem
                            and as per rules I have sent the message to 1900 on 19.03.2011
                            (portability change - PORT [protected]). AIRCEL was given the unique
                            porting code - DT 386383 and submit to the Vodafone on same date. ( I
                            will transfer to AIRCEL To VODAFONE.)

                            Upto 19.03.2011 bill was closed and AIRCEL payment of Rs.200/- on that date.

                            But I have received the message from Vodafone ON 26.03.2011, your
                            porting code does not match. (Received message from Vodafone - Hello!
                            your porting request DT 386383 dated 26 Mar 11 has been rejected by
                            your current operator due to the porting code does not match the Donor
                            allocated porting code for this number. Pl contact your current
                            operator for further details). I have contact and told the above said
                            problem to Theni Aircel show room ([protected]), Coimbatore office
                            [protected] and Madurai office[protected] but no one told
                            the solution.

                            AIRCEL and Vodafone message also same code but how was differ porting
                            code. I don't know.

                            I have paid on upto date on 19.03.2011 but who will bear the till date
                            bill payment.

                            My requisition, I will quick to change the service provider from
                            AIRCEL to VODAFONE.

                            Please sir give me the time and solve my problem immediately.

                            Greetings! Refer my letter dated April 1 & 11, 2011 regarding AIRCEL sim portablity (AIRCEL TO VODAFONE) changes. But still now not yet change, clear cut solution not given for AIRCEL. I was tried portability number for March 19, April 4 and April 19 - 2011 but not yet resolved. (I have deposit with AIRCEL amount of Rs.250.). Last portability also expired day after tomorrow.

                            AIRCEL Customer care says - local AIRCEL dealers, local AIRCEL dealers says - contact AIRCEL head office and AIRCEL head office say - contact customer care. All are doing like round the clock but nobody given the correct solution.

                                I have a Aircel number and wanted to port it out of Aircel as the service is very poor. I gave a request to the new vendor on Wed (27 Apr 2011) but on Friday (29th Apr 2011) I get a response from the new provider that Aircel has rejected my MNP request stating that "Your Port in request for Mobile number 98414xxxxx has been rejected by your service provider due to outstanding payments". When I contacted the Aircel customer service I was able to talk to them they say my outstanding is "zero" but status is "Payment due", not sure what type of system they have. In this process I lost the amount I paid for the new operator.
                                Another discovery that may be o[censored]se to others, Aircel will not connect to customer service if you call them from an Aircel mobile either 121 or [protected]. It just gets disconnected when it says"... connecting you to our customer service" - this was an accidental discovery after 2 hrours of experiment calling the customer service.
                                I have to now try after few days - one more opportunity for Aircel to reject my MNP request

                                I think I mentioned that I was able to talk to your customer service to rectify the issue of your database correction, but the issue still remains - my port out request was rejected by your "system", if at all you have one.
                                Just for your info I did call [protected] but that is for prepaid and they asked me to call [protected] which I had already called on Friday and an SR has been raised to correct your system - not the error that you had informed the new service provider an wrong piece of information.

                                  Worst experience with Aircel customer Service

                                  I received a call from Mr. Ranjan from [protected] I simply asked him that I want the outgoing SMS details of my Aircel number [protected] which he denied and answered in very arrogant way, he said I will not share the details we don’t have the access to it when I asked him to transfer the call to his boss he said I don’t have any boss, Is this the way Aircel treat his customers?

                                  When we called on [protected] a different person Mr. Sunil picked up the call and said there is no one by the name of Mr. Ranjan when I insisted then he said Mr. Ranjan is not available today call back later.

                                  Different answers from different departments of aircel

                                  Yesterday I called aircel customer service team and enquired how to get the Outgoing SMS details. The executive said either you can visit a Aircel store or you can mail across we will provide the details, I did the same now Aircel is sharing different polices.

                                  I want an action to be initiated against all defaulters.

                                  Looking for resolution kindly provide the Sms outgoing details as asked in trail mail.

                                    Sir, AIRCEL activate value added services ( Dialer tone) without my permission, any type of request and deducted Rs 41/- ( as per customer care) ,i had talk to customer care they told me if you registered your complaint in 48 hour so i take it otherwise no, then after send mail to care.[protected]@aircel.co.in & nodalofficer.[protected]@aircel.co.in dtd[protected] but they have no replay . basic problem is sir i am working in MAHARASHTRA and after 1 or 2 month come in Madhya Pradesh then use this number, my meaning is how to get information about any value added service activation and balance deduction without my permission while my sim is not in phone(Maharastra).

                                    Customer care told me this is system mistake, I ask to you system not give balance without any recharge why ?

                                    for example Banks are handling & maintain lot of transaction and accounts but there system is not make such type of mistake why in regular basis ?.

                                    Please take strictly action & charge penalty against such type of mall practices for getting more profit use public pocket in illegal way
                                    & Refund my Balance.

                                    And second is sir please issue to guideline this company registered customer complaint after then 48 hour's. for example if a person for 5 day's in hospitalise in serious case what is his first priority medical or company 48 hours rules.

                                      they active all value added service. they take all money after recharge.
