Complaint marked as Resolved The issue resolved itself after calling customer care twice. BUT I’M DAMN SURE
CC executive did nothing.
First executive said at 11am that wait for 1 hour (standard timings are 30 mins, 2 hrs and 4hrs and rest is 24 hrs and 48 hrs so she seemed to have no clue to me and I just hung up).
I called again and the new guy told me that there’s some technical issue that will be resolved within 4 hours (that’s standard waiting time so I just asked him further but he had no clue apart from knowing what standard waiting time is).
After half an hour, I retried sending START 0 to 1909 that was failing constantly and to my surprise it went through.
I called my number and it came as busy!
I sent a PORT my number to 1900 and it went too.
I called myself again and call came.
Did shopping online, bank otp came.
So! Everything is working after 21hours of getting networks on my new sim card.
Although VODAFONE took 10 minutes in the process where Airtel takes 21 hours. But for various reasons I love Airtel
Airtel customer support has been notified about the posted complaint.
