Airtel has upgraded their software in my complex and now have forcefully disconnected many channels from my set top box. When i raised a complaint with customer service regarding this, they said the site engineer will come and rectify it. Now the site engineer says that airtel has upgraded the software and hence i have to buy a new hd box and after that i will get my channels. This is not the first time airtel has done this to me. The charges for each box is 600/- plus 150/- service charge. My point is why should i keep paying for this every time airtel upgrades their services. There are over 200 families in my society today that have to change their box. Why is airtel running this scam and forcing us to buy a service that we did not ask for. The site engineers that visited are also extremely rude with this behavior with no ethics. I want a case filled on airtel for a forceful scam on public due to their upgrades of their systems.

    Yesterday i received this message in which on rchg of 399 the pack validity is 84 days bt yesterday when i go to mobile shop for recharge he said that validity is only for 70 days n i showd him this message and he told me to talk to customer care n whn i filed a complaint to customer care abt this they said we cannt help u in this... M disaapointed from airtel bcoz of this hope u will solve this prblm as soon as possible otherwise i will hve to chnge the company airtel n shift to another company...

      I am using airtel network for past 3 months and as per they said the data will fastest among the other networks. But it may only applicable for the pospaid plans. Because the unlimited plan is not even working well and even calls drop for a while. Don't know why they are telling its a fastest network. I am really fed up using the india's fastest network. Even my friends using aircel and other networks but they are laughing at me as am using the india's fastest network.
      If we do speed test it will show that 25 mb/s like that but we are asking just give us 500kbps well. And that's more than enough

        I have an airtel prepaid connection number (+91 - [protected]) frc 495/- from kolkata. Whenever i came to roaming (Vellore) i am unable to make outgoing calls, but receive incoming calls.

        The 4g data is also not received even though my husband has airtel and able to use 4g data in the same room itself.

        It is very hard when you have a critically ill patient with you and you are not able to make urgent calls even though spending necessary amount.

        Vellore airtel store and kolkata local shop both said they won't be able to help as this is something airtel has to sort out. Please fix this problem asap.

          I paid 31 rupees for 400 free sms for 28 days. But when more than 350 sms and days are valid today 09.11.2017 i was deducted 2 rupees for 2 sms i sent for a local number. So today 09.11.2017 again i paid 31 rupees for 300 sms package as i required to send more sms. As my balance of 400 sms package offered by airtel to my number and validity is still existing kindly return 31 rupees today what i recharged + 2 rupees deducted for 2 local sms to my airtel bank account. Pl take action immediately.

            Air tel collected the rs, 1000 for brodband connection. Due to some issue they could not provide connection. Rs 1000 was paid vide cheque no 2585359 and credited into air tel account on[protected]. Refund was requested since july 2017. I do not know why it is delaying.               Dear sir, your airtel cellular network is the most used mobile network in my locality, but there is no 4g upgrade and most of all 3g network is so unstable and annoying... So please upgrade your network here or least of it fix the 3g network... Hopefully this complaint reaches you....
              Please resolve the issue otherwise i will port my airtel number to other provider

                Would like to complain about the pathetic and appalling service provided by airtel.

                I had ported my vodafone number to airtel in the month of september 17. Since, the day i've ported my number to airtel, my number is not reachable, due to which my family members, colleagues, friends etc are not able to contact me, and even if by chance they get the call connected, there is no clarity due to network issue and the voice keeps on breaking.

                I had reported this to airtel customer service on 17th september 17; and till now (I. E. Today, 09th november, 17) the request or complaint has not been resolved and i haven't received any follow-up call from airtel, as well.

                Every time i call up the customer care, they tell me the same thing, that we are working on your request. I mean are serious, its been # two months and no solution yet.

                Recently i had faced another issue, which i had again reported to the customer service team of airtel, and i wanted to port my number back to vodafone or any other company.

                There was a death in my family, and my family members were not able get in touch with me due to the good for nothing network of airtel. Upon addressing this concern to the airtel customer care team, the revert which i got was truly shocking and not expected
                " sir please wait for 24 hours, our team will get in touch with you".

                Now the irony is that, i can't get the number ported back to vodafone or any other network until three months are over with airtel " india's good for nothing network".

                I would never ever recommend airtel to any of my family members, friends or colleagues, and if in case someone is thinking to port with airtel, or planning to get a new connection with airtel, i would highly suggest that you better go with idea or vodafone, which is far more better than airtel.

                    Myself offer I am regularly using is 309 which is applicable only for 28 days, but my friend's number for the amount of 407 you are giving the offer for 78 days.

                      I applied for porting from airtel postpaid (Mumbai region) to airtel prepaid (Ncr region) i lost my network on old sim and then i inserted my new sim. But still by my sim is showing 'no service'. This number is of great value for me.. It is my both my personal and official number. I tried calling 121 but there is no option to call your representative and i have mailed to you by 4 times but still i am not getting any reply.. What kind of pathetic service is this??.. Dont you guys understand how important is porting for someone who has been associated with you by the same number for 8 years..                         I port my [protected] no from tata docomo to airtel but when dail from another no. it tells that invalied no or dail no. is wrong. It causes to me highly inconvince since dailer not able to contact me. Therefore it is requested to redress the same being a valuable customer n also build a new relationship since Bharati Airtel is a no 1 company.

                          We got a call from airtel customer care [from [protected]] on 4/11/2017 at 12:13 pm that if we recharge our airtel digital tv (Id: [protected]) with rs.1199/- then we will get 12 months extension of our plan (Value prime kids). We recharged with 1199/- on the same day at 1:15 pm but sorry to say that we received a sms at 1:20 pm that airtel has changed our base pack to "ultd tv 12 m gec+reg csd pack" in which we can see only free to air channels.

                          We lodged a complaint to airtel customer care [[protected]] on 6/11/2017 regarding this matter and they said it will be resolved within 24 hrs (Reference no.:[protected] but no resolution even after 48 hrs.
                          Then we lodged a written complaint on airtel website on 8/11/2017 at 12:30 pm (Reference no.: dt[protected].

                          We got a call from airtel customer care ([protected]) on 8/11/2017 at 2:54 pm that this problem occurred due to wrong information conveyed to us from airtel customer care executive; now if we want our previous pack we have to pay more to airtel!!!

                          Our question is that who is at fault for it: airtel customer care or we?
                          And for airtel customer care executive mistake why we will have to suffer?

                          Please help us in resolving our problem in either way:
                          1) airtel change our base pack to value prime kids 12 months validity as they promised
                          Or
                          2) full refund of our money along with compensation for misguiding us!!!

                                I have recharged my prepaid number by ₹299 on airtel company offer of giving 84 days unlimited talktime but company has stoped the service in 4 days. And on talking with customer care they are not ready to give that service and saying that they are not even afraid supreme court even if you fill a case.                                   Very very bad data service showing h+ and the speed gets not even of 2g. First time with airtel and very bad experience but the voice seems to be fine.

                                  I think in order to compete with other telecom companies and just to be in the market airtel provides good plans but the data services is a complete waste no use had to use wifi instead of mobile data to surf internet.

                                  I think airtel needs to understand that with good plans quality is very important. I'm not sure if the issue with the data will resolve or not.

Very Good customer services you guys are providing. will the email id be public or only to airtel rep? I have already provided the info here for registering use that to contact me. Which description are you referring? And it's very unprofessional to mark as resolved without any resolution.

                                    I am using Airtel postpaid from since last 4years and recently from last 5months till date no complaints were solved by airtel regarding network issue in my virar maharashtra (401305) area.
                                    many time i called customer care of airtel but they are pleasing that there is a work going on ...i dont know from last 5months they are working on which tower...still they are sloving the network issue in my area,
                                    i request not to buy airtel sim in my city virar, rest you may purchase and even i my going to port my service provider ...

                                      I have visited airtel office near jalahalli cross, bangalore-57 for porting my mobile number to airtel because of low signal problem. But the person in their office refused to port the number unless i am ready to pay a total of rs.520/- for 3 months data pack. I need only talk time pack not data, but he was not ready to port the number for anything less than rs.520/-. Now i am going to any other providers which has better signal in my house. Why airtel allowed their employees to exploit the poor customers like this? Is it really legal?

                                        I have an open service request on Network issues[protected] with Airtel for over a month now since the day I ported the number to them. The matter is with Appellete Authority which just a call center with people who are just "order receivers" and don't have any authority, problem solving capability or customer service attitude (they don't respond to email or call back). They claim to be the "highest authority you can reach to". Talking to a senior person is not an option, even talking to a supervisor is a challenge because they are never there on the floor when you call them.

                                        On Airtel website it is mentioned Mr. Navin Pathak ([protected]) as the head of NCR Apellete Authority. I tried calling the number and it goes to the call center. The email id is generic and goes to the their back office / call center. I don't understand why they have a put a name if no one can reach him. Just complying to TRAI requirement may be but they don't mean to be helpful. Basically you are throttled at a low level clerk in the call center by design. Welcome to the corruption in Private Companies in India.

                                        The solution provided to me is that they need to setup a Tower to improve reception without any timelines, which will take at least 4 to 6 months as per my understanding. There are many interim / temporary solution available but they don't seem to be interested to provide one.

                                        I can't port the number for 90 days and I have to wait for 90 days to escalate to TRAI. Knowing these Airtel is taking advantage of my situation.

                                        I am really sad to see the level of customer service in our country. I am posting this with a hope that others should know about these issues and set their expectations appropriately.

                                        The response time to emails is 7 days. I got reply to my 2nd Nov email on 9th. After repeated calling I managed to get a call back from one Mr. Sunny Sherra called me last week and assured me on the call that

                                        a) he will get back to me with a short term resolution by 13th Nov and
                                        b) arrange a call with Mr. Pathak who as per Airtel website is the head of Appellete Authority for Delhi NCR region.

                                        Then he sent me a generic email without any solution and most importantly by omitting the assurances he made on the call. Please find the note from him and my reply.

                                        I am still waiting for the call and resolution.

                                        It is 18 days and counting to get a reply from Airtel. I have sent 3 reminder emails and 2 calls but no response.
