on 17 dec 2013 amount of around 500/- deducted without any reason, after that next day by 7:30 am i have called customer care & lodged a complaint, so those people told that rectify & refund full amount. on 18th of dec 2013 i have called customer care plenty of times those people are told till evening 4 pm. on 19 th also i have received call from some 4 to 5 people with different numbers. they are told that your mobile is activated 3G on 17th dec 2013 by 4 pm. so you have been charged, another people are told Rs. 9 pack has been activated for that reason its happened, nobody is interested to refund my balance... so finally some body has called me from: +91 [protected] some lady called me and told that your mobile is not activated any net facility so you have been charged, after that i replayed her my mobile is recharged by Rs. 199 pack of 2G and its 2GB its recharged on 03/12/2013 and its valid till 01/01/2014... then she is not agreeing & not possible to refund... after that serious issue only i mailing you... so please take a serious action on the issue. daily this people are cross checking me around more then 10 times. each and every body is different type o[censored]nsatisfactory reasons giving.

    Sim has been blocked without reason and information

    Dear Sir/Madam, I am using Airtel number [protected] on my name with proper identification from 7 years without any fail. Airtel communication has stopped my number without information and without any reason.This is my official number and my all communication has stopped because of this number. i cannot leave without this for an hour.when i called to customer care they replied we cannot do anything regarding the same and this number...

      I had recharged my Prepaid number with 1GB, 2G data pack as per the below mentioned transaction Transaction ID - 541394 Amount (Rs.) - 125.0 Fri, Nov 29, 2013 at 11:55 AM I have been using the 1GB, 2G data pack for more than two years now, and had never required more than 1GB data for a month.(I understand my data usage need) It was all working fine until I received a promotional on 15th November 2013. It said, that a DATA PACK TO ACCESS FB HAS BEEN ENABLED, (I never asked for any offer) which was valid for three days. I did not concentrate much on the message, as I already had my monthly internet data plan in place. In these three days, whenever I tried accessing any weblinks, You tube from FB, it gave me a pop up, "Extra data charges will be incured for the usage". This sounded weird, and I immediately tried accessing the weblinks and You tube, checking the MAIN ACCOUNT BALANCE, which was around 106 rupees then. As there was no remarkable change in balance, I ignored it, assuming, my MONTHLY DATA PLAN is in place and that would continue once this offer expires. Problem arrived, when i realised that, the OFFER is expired and my DATA PLAN showed the LIMIT to be "0".(Offer should have got expired on 17th November 2013) I realised this, after losing my 100 rupees from the MAIN ACCOUNT BALANCE (on 18th November late night). I immediately called the Customer care who was incompetent to listen to the issue, empathise, or clarify but hung the call without even trying to understand what my actal issue is. Please check and get it rectified, reimbursing or refunding me the amount incured on the data charges, from December 18, 2013, 12:00 AM. I would also request for a customer confirmation received before activating such offers, which would save lot of trouble and stress.

        Hello, Out of the blue I got a call from airtel CC saying that incoming has been barred due to incorrect documents. I said I am using this SIM for past 6.5 years. Then that representative told me that then this could be because of SIM got damaged as it has been used for too long period !!! What ??? Are you kidding me ???? Just find some reason to irritate customers. I tried to escalate the call and do all other things. Nothing worked out. So I have decided to go to "Bannerghata Head office" of Airtel and submitted all my documents on Monday 16th Dec 2013. On the same day I got message saying that i have submitted documents this that. After 3 days I called CC and the answer which they gave me put me in aweful shock !!! They have told me that my documents has not reached verification department. When I asked why, they told me that Bannerghata office has not released my proofs ???!!!??? I got no words to describe Airtel`s poor care for the customer. I have taken auto to travel for 40 KMS to reach head office to submit documents. And they are kidding me saying that I have to go back again to remind them to release my proofs !!! What on earth, Airtel is thinking about customers. When I escalated call to a floor manager, they told me the real truth behind all these stuffs. Recently on BACK-END Airtel has updated new software, because of which they needed proof again. Isnt this funny ???? Even in that case, they could have asked peoples directly saying the real reason. First Airtel barred my outgoing. After that incoming also got barred. Its highly ridiculous that Airtel doing like this to a loyal customer who owns this number for past 6.5 years. I CAN NOT travel back again 40 KMS just to remind those irresponsible airtel representatives at Bannerghata road to release my documents. Please do the needful. If nothing is going to be fruitful from this complaint also, then I will straight away move to VODAFONE or others. Not just me. I will surely move all of my team mates and colleagues to other service providers.

        As I have escalated this issue over customer care yesterday, temporarily my incoming has been allowed. And also today I got a call from another team as I have raised a query in this forum, saying that they will look into this issue in the back-end. But the current status of my proof submission as updated by this person also seems to be similar as given by CC i.e., documents have not reached airtel verification department.

            Hi, I'm using a Airtel Digital TV connection and have a Super Mega Package which I renew periodically every month. Last month I was travelling and not able to recharge the account due to which my services got discontinued. A day later I re-charged the account as usual but the company has charged a late payment charges i.e. Rs 20.00 and deducted the same from the account balance. This is un-reasonable that how a company can charge a late payment charge on a pre-paid account. They can only stop the services once the balance gets exhausted, but they can not charge any amount to resume the services. It's like pre-paid connection in mobile services, if you have balance you can use the services else the services will be stopped.

            Moreover I haven't been informed earlier about these late payment charges, if I can get SMS to recharge they can simply mention the same there. They keep the customer in totally shadow.

            This is my appeal to the forum to raise an issue and make other consumers aware of these kind of policies of AIRTEL.

              respected sir, I have been offered one post paid connection one airtel employee and my no was [protected]. I have purchased this number exclusively for my wife as i am using prepaid No of airtel company [protected]. I am serving at Army Hospital (R&R) Delhi Cantt and residing at Sanjay Vihar. Though Airtel network is available at office ie at Army Hospital (R&R) But there is no network at Sanjay Vihar. I have brought this to the notice No of times to customer care executive they just keep telling that your problem will be resolved as early as possible. When i dont get any response I will stopped using my airtel No [protected] and when asked by airtel employee i told him that your connectivity is not available at Sanjay Vihar I will unable to pay your monthly rentle hence I requested them on phone No of times to wave of my unnecessary bill amount and forward bill of actual amount that i will pay it and and when I will get that amended bill at my billing address and stopped my connection immediately as i am not using this number ie [protected]. since last one week one employee miss nazia keep calling me from phone no [protected] and asked to pay all the dues without further delay or say get ready for legal complications. Being a soldier it is very difficult to get me few days leave to visit my home town. as the company is unable to provide me their bill it is their responsibility to provide hard copy of bill as have not been opted for soft copy bill. Being a soldier of Indian it was never my intention to keep anyones due outstanding. But I am unable to pay unnecessary amount demanded by airtel without any valid reason. You can get it verified from them as during my billing time there is no connectivity available at Sanjay Vihar. Even as on today it is quite difficult to get connect with airtel at Sanjay Vihar. In view of the above it is my humble request ask airtel company to provide better connectivity and stop making fool to soldiers with their posted plans.

                As far i waited so long and so patient i came to know Airtel will not give any solution for the complaints...2 persons whose name is Ajit Jain(Residing in pallavaram-Chennai) and Ashok Lodha (Residing in T.nagar - Chennai) has a link with a higher official in Airtel Chennai..

                They both are getting all information like call details message details messages everything from a Airtel Higher official who has the rights to read messages of Airtel customers...He is selling it for money and day by day it is keep on increasing and day by day they are openly selling they details especially female customer...Recently one they took one girls number details and the girl is missing so this issue will make they AIRTEL PERSON caught who engaged in such act and it has going to become a biggest issue in INDIA SOON...

                  I am using [protected] for the past 10 years and suddenly I have received an SMS from Airtel on 19th Nov stating I need to pay Rs 2720 for the Internet charges, which I never used. I have checked with my friend and he also faced the same thing. I called Airtel customer care immediately and complained, since then (19th Nov) the internet charge was stopped, however, the charges imposed for the Nov Month was not waived. I request Airtel to waive this amount immediately TR Eswaran

                    hi i am shivakumar i am residing in K.R.Puram, bangalore, in our building selvaraj named person was tenant from 1 year but before 5 month he went somewhere seeing other house. i think he may not paid mobile bill. we don't know how airtel people know our number from 1 week calls from airtel costumer care speaking wrong words with my wife and my daughter. telling that he will send police to arrest us. can you please tell us that how we are responcible for this. if he don't pay bill. kindly please take any action for this. thanking you shivakumar

                      This is complaint on Airtel which denied to convert my post paid connection to pre paid. I was using Airtel connection for 6 months in a maharashtra state. I got shifted to Bangalore and I wanted to keep the number for few more months and wanted it converted to pre-paid. When I went to the airtel regional office in bangalore. They denied to convert post paid to pre paid saying this belongs to different circle. We only do this for our circle. They wanted me to go to the Maharashtra get it converted and come back here?. If we want a pre-paid to post-paid conversion, they will come to your home and do all the things you ask!! The trick is they will delay the process so that the customer has to bare the rent till that time it is converted. This is the way the company is making money. I sent mail regarding to Airtel customer care and even to the nodal office. Customer care is sending me the list of addresses of Maharashtra airtel offices? and nodal officer is not ready reply to my email ever after 3-4 follow ups. I have clearly said them I will not pay the rent the day I visited their regional office in Bangalore. We have 5-6 airtel connections in our family, I am thinking migrate to other provider..and I am also insisting all my friends and relatives not to use airtel.

                            I’ve received a mail from airtel on 14th December 2013, with 2 attachments. The attachments had the airtel bill on my name for Rs. 2211.58/-. From September 7th 2013, I have been constantly communicating to airtel over phone and mails for disconnection of aritel services which I was using. But instead of procedurally disconnecting the connection they are sending bills and they have also sent their representatives to my place, that too in an unsuitable hours without prior appointment for bill collection. I had taken the airtel connection (broadband and telephone line), vide number[protected] during October 2010. Then I was residing in GKM colony, Chennai 600 082. I had been provided with the connection from Airtel Periyar Nagar, Chennai 600082 Office. I had taken the connection in VijayaDhasami Offer. Airtel staff had explained me that this offer provides the following three benefits to me. 1. Normally, installation charge of Rs. 500 has to be paid for getting airtel connection. But with this offer if I pay Rs.500 initially, that will be adjusted in my next bill as a cash back offer. 2. In addition, Rs. 1000 is collected as security deposit, which will be refunded when surrendering the line after adjusting the dues, if any. But in this offer, the security deposit is waived and will be adjusted during connection termination and refund will be made after adjusting the last bill dues, as a cash back offer. 3. A reebok watch worth rs. 2500 will be delivered through courier. As this offer seemed attractive and worth I had subscribed to airtel connection, through periyar nagar airtel office. Offer 1 and 3 had been properly processed as said by them, immediately. Between August 2013 to September 2013, there was a change in billing plan and I received a bill for Rs. 1000/- (approx.) on 6th September 2013.Airtel executives had been calling me for past six months since, august 2013 and had been explaining about bill plan change with better benefits. They also said it is an optional migration and I have to migrate only if am interested to do so. But this bill plan has been changed without my consent. As I was not willing to continue the aritel service at a hiked billing, immediately on 7th September 2013 around 12:30 hours, I had contacted Airtel complaint cell 198 and I had communicated to disconnect my line with immediate effect. I believed that according to the offer through which I have subscribed for airtel connection, my last month bill will be adjusted. As my connection was not terminated till my bill due date I myself stopped using aritel services and sent a mail to [protected]@in.airtel.com on 7th October 2013, for disconnection of services. I also gave reference about my voice communication for disconnection over mail. But only after receiving a communication through email from airtel, I knew that my disconnection request was not processed or rather it was not even communicated through proper channels by airtel customer care executive who had attended my call on 7th September 2013 12:30 hrs. Anyhow I have provided all the information required for process of disconnection in my subsequent mails to [protected]@in.airtel.com. And on 28th October 2013, I received a mail from airtel that my disconnection request will be processed. Here I would like to clarify that the delay of processing disconnection from 7th September 2013 to 28th October 2013, is purely because of the mistake / negligence / fault of airtel customer care executive who had attended my call on 7th September 2013 12:30 hrs and I am no way responsible for this undue and unnecessary delay in connection termination. But airtel is generating bill for the period for which I have not been using the connection actively and trying to penalize me for the mistake committed by airtel executive, without communicating my decision for disconnection through proper channels. This is absolutely an unfair business practice. I am unnecessarily being forced to suffer unceasing mental agony because of these miscommunications and unfair bill demands from aritel. I would also like to mention that I have been a disciplined customer till the dot I communicated my disconnection notice and I had paid all the bills so far without any delay or default and I have properly communicated my decision for disconnection also. I want to be immediately relieved from over billing for the period for which I have not enjoyed any airtel services.

                            Again on 20th December 2013 I have received another mail seeking immediate payment of Rs. 3122, that is calculated for still more later period of two months after disconnection. I am again and again being burdened with bills for the period in which I had never utilized any of the airtel services.

                            I request an immediate relief in this issue.

                              I tried many times online to update my existing airtel digital tv pack to Ala carte pack. Every time i attempt it show successful msg that my pack will change within 24 hours but still not changed. First time i tried on 7th Dec 2013 but still no output.                                 Hi, I am using my mobile number Airtel - [protected] for more than 3 years now and yesterday on Saturday (14th Dec 13), without any prior indication, my incoming was blocked. I was not even aware of the situation until I received a contact unsuccessful message from a courier service. I asked my friends to call me, and they were unable to call me because Airtel have blocked my incoming calls. On contacting the customer care(as soon as I came to know about my issue) on 14th Dec(Sat night), they told me that my verification is unsuccessful( after 3+ years of card usage and loyalty), and so they blocked my incoming( and not outgoing, which is still wrong without a notice), and I can only unblock after I resubmit my documents. So, I am stuck, as Saturday is gone and Sundays, the relationship centers are closed. So, I am left for two days, wondering what EMERGENCY calls can come for me and I cannot receive my calls.                                   I bought airtel 4G LTE from one of the airtel executive and that time he told the service will be activaed within 48hr. After one and half days my physical verification and televerification was done and the guy who did physical verification told that your servic will be activated within 24hr. The 6 days got over even my service is not activated. I called airtel helpline [protected] and give my 10 digit 4G number and they told your information is not updated in database they cant activate my service. Than i called the guy to whom i buoght the device he told ok he will check and update me. But he did not update me and after some time he is not responding my call also. Than i called the guy who came for physical verification. he told me that he updated my information to department. I called the airtel physaical department and they told still database is showing blank. I got Manager number I called her, she said I'll update you in 2 hours. 8 hours have passed, no update from her yet. Too dissappointing.

                                    my cell no.[protected]. originally this phone was under prepaid scheme and continuous persuasion by your executives, I changed over to postpaid. within three days of activation of postpaid, Iam fed up with services and some sort of cheating. one AKILA from Air tel office claimed to be EKATUTANGAL, CHENNAI from phone no[protected] liaising with me and she sent a executive to me, who handed over a SIM and taken Rs 300/. without giving me a receipt. on query he informed me that the amount was for security deposit. then my phone had a balance of Rs 179/ or in prepaid sheme. Now Iam surprised to find a message after three days of change over from pre paid to postpaid, bill dt 12/12 for Rs 164.90 is generated and it will reach you shortly. Now iam at loss that for one day use that is changed over only on 11/12, you levy me Rs 164.90.My use cannot be more than Rs 20-30 or so . I tried to get info from 121 but it gives bhashan that i neither have patience nor time to listen. I tried to contact on phone no.[protected] and no one responds in that phone for the past three days your executives did not explain any thing except they took a signature of mine on a blank form. I find no transparency in dealing with the customer I therefore, decided to quit from post paid and change to pre paid if not i would like to change over to other operators to stop this sort of harassment and pl direct one of your executive to contact me immediately.
