Dear Sir, I have ported into Airtel Network from Vodafone Post paid in April, 2011. But recently on[protected], when I requested for a SIM replacement, I came to know that my number which I am using from more than 8 years is not my name and on someone else name. When I requested for change of address they have asked me to drop a mail to nodal office and after getting a reply take a print out and come back. I have mailed my details to given mail id nodalofficer.[protected]@in.airtel.com on[protected] and got reply from this mail ID on[protected] stating that I can change my address details by submitting a copy of the mail, ID Proof and Address Proof. I went to Airtel Relationship Center, at CBM compound, opposite HSBC Bank on the same day and requested to change the details. They have given a application to fill and given a new SIM and informed me that my number will be deactivated next day and will be activated with in 4 days. But my number got deactivated on[protected] and did not activate till date and giving very careless reply that they do not know when my number will be activated. I tried sending mail to nodalofficer.[protected]@in.airtel.com but no use. I am using this number for all my bank accounts and personal use. Now I am not able to make any online bank transactions as this is my registered mobile number for all my accounts. Please solve my problem.

    when my sim is receiving messages in inbox.the is nothing shown in display.it only shows message downloaded.what type of service is this??i have changed my handset and still the problem is same.and another problem of my sim is that there is 198 and 121 customer care can not connect any person to talk.when i pressing number 9 to talk with the customer care the automatic system shows it wrong.but when i doing the same thing on another airtel sim is works well.so definatly the problem is in system.so do something and solve my problem. thank you..

      Dear Sir,
      From Airtel I had broadband connection, From the day broadband was installed there were continous outages, for this reason I asked them to close the connection, they promised to improve on the same and I paid them two month bill.

      But things did not improve, and continued as before, the connection will be on for some time and them will go dead.
      When they called for bill, I told them the problem and said I do not want there connection and asked them to close it. On this I am told to call 121, when one calls 121, there are menu, sub menu, sub menu and after trying couple of times I gave up. I continue to get call on bill payment, they does not entertain call for closing connection, or registering technical issues.

        I had applied at an airtel retail in kharangajar, jamshedpur, jharkhand for rs 19 power recharge on my phone [protected] on 18.01.14 which claimed to make calls at 1paise per second ... but TILL DATE NO SUCH POWER HAS BEEN ACTIVATED... the calls are consuming more money...NOT AT 1PAISE/SEC!!! I SIMPLY WANT THE RS 19 POWER TO BE ACTIVATED IN MY PHONE IMMEDIATELY!!! OR ELSE I WANT MY RS 19 BACK!!!

          I am one of the valued customer of Airtel for years having number[protected]. But due to the incidents I face I regret and feel bad about the poor service and support provided by you guys. I would like to let you know the incident which happened and the consequences due to that. I am CEO of a dynamic information security startup. I was out of station and there was a important business meeting which is mandate to be attended in Blru. Since I was unable to attend I sent an SMS to my employee ([protected]) on Jan 8th 21.52pm to attend the meeting and the SMS was not delivered to him.

            i am writing this mail with lot of frustration, i got my Airtel 4G connection on 25/01/2014, from the very first day the speed is not more then 1mb/sec against the promise they have made 4, 0 mb/sec. but as the days passed the speed is around 150 kb/sec, from the very first day of the activation i have been complaining about the same, the funny thing is Airtel people when they want some verification to be done from there side, at that time my number is reachable, but when they try to reach me for issue related, they say that my number is not valid.this is the reason they are giving.And the most funny part is when they give demo with www.speedtest.net the speed will reach 40mb/sec, i think they have some contract or pay some money to the with speedtest.net website, so that they can fool people around by showing the high speed.so i think airtel is no more interested in solving my query, so i will not be paying any bill for the service which i was not provided.my details 4G no: [protected] Location : Bangalore Contact number : [protected]. Airtel is worst service ... simply don't fool people around for the sake of money... instead try improve the service..so that people build confidence in your products.

              I have a airtel digital connection with Cus ID: [protected] which is installed at my Chandigarh residence. An alcarte package was active which amounted to Rs 168 (incl taxes) I recharged Rs 310 and requested the customer care rep on telephone to change the package to South super value (Rs 175). It offers additional Malayalam and malayalam 2 top up as complimentary. However, they told me that it cant be activated since I am not staying in the north. While I belong to South, I am in Chandigarh since I am in the IAF and stationed for few years in Chandigarh. I am forced to watch north Indian package. It is ridiculous to restrict customers from watching thier choice of channel irrespective of whether they stay in any part of the country. I am not in Chandigarh out of choice.                   Dear Sir, This is second time I am writing to file against Airtel as I get no response so far for my 1st complaint dated 21st Jan 2014. It was told by the Area Manager that my problem will be solved on 24th Jan 2014 (7 - 8 PM). But no response from anyone so far. This is indeed a real problem from airtel for not taking any action on thier people. (I consider the issue like this: Now area manager also supporting his service engineer (who is the actual cause for this complete issue). But what is the necessary action taken on this issue & on these people (Area Manager & Service Engineer) from Airtel.) I can't wait beyond this point. Need some justice. Please do the needful.                       For last few months Airtel has been doing Fraud with Customers If you online recharge your mobile for 300MB, it shows that you get a validity of 30 days but they are only giving a validity of 21 days. All the customers who have been recharging online, do not know about this and their validity expires in 21 days. Airtel is takin 30% money extra from consumers by doing this way and in last few months they might have generated a lot of revenue doing this since consumer is not aware of this. I lodged a complaint 2 times but no action was action and today also their website shows that if you recharge for 102 using exclusive web offer, it shows you will get 30 days validity. [protected] On 3rd Jan 2014 I recharged my mobile from internet and I got 30 days validity but it expired on 23rd Jan. I called Airtel Customer Care and they told it's a bug in the system and you will only get 21 days validity. I told the person if it's a bug then you should inform the customers, are you fooling customers by showing wrong information and taking more money ? The guy did not listen to me His name was Zabiulla Khan Mohammad - [protected] On 25th Jan I again recharged online and website showed me I will get 30 days validity but again I got 21 days ? Why is Airtel doing this FRAUD WITH CUSTOMERS ? Airtel has taken more money from me and from all the customers for last 3 months in India who have recharged online. Please escalate this case to consumer court and strict action should be taken against these companies who are taking more money and making lakhs of profit by fooling customers.

                          Hi There,

                          I am Karuppasamy P, living in Chennai. Once I received a call from Airtel representative, in which they have described a plan which attracted me. The plan as follows

                          Monthly Payment Rs: 300
                          800 calls per month
                          Calls b/w a particular number is free for 24/7 (have to pay Rs 100 pm).

                          I have selected this plan and said ok to the representative.
                          She sent a sales representative to my Office. And he collected 500rs as Deposit amount and required documents to activate the network.
                          He said that the network will be activated within one week. (it was happened on November 1st week).



                          After one week one representative came to my home for address verification. I signed in a form. Then he said will be activated within a couple of days.

                          After two days, a call came from them said that the proof verification failed and asked me to submit another copy of proof. I did.

                          And then there is no news from them, I was waiting until December 15th. Then I called the representative who collected amount from me. He gave me their office number. I contacted the number. A representative attended the call, I told him briefly. He said he will take action, will activate within a week. This was happened in end of December. I was waiting until January. In the first week of January I called the same number, and the same guys told me that it will be activated within next week. I said, no I don't need your service, just refund my amount.

                          He said, ok I will take actions regarding this. And by next two days I called him, and he said it was processed and the amount will be reached to my address within next 15 days. This was happened by Jan 7th, 2014.

                          Still I didn't receive any calls, amount from them. So I called him today (27th Jan, 2014), and still he is responding irresponsible. I don't what to do.

                          Still it is not yet activated. And there is no proper response from their side.

                          Can you guys help me to solve this. I need my money back, Rs 500.

                            I am facing issues with Airtel. When I asked for the help, they simply like to reply whatever they like to but not about the actual problem. Kindly help me in this case. Following is the full conversation with Airtel

                            I have three post paid connections to be convert pre paid.I went five times to Airtel gallery for the same but executives are ignoring me. Only reply me to come again next day. This is very very harmful as well as painful to me. Instead of sorting problem they are creating problems.
                            It is truly very frustrating behaviour from Airtel Gallery side.
                            I need to change my airtel number post paid to prepaid. They said that, it will take 48 hrs for activation. But after passing 72 hrs it didnot activate. i contact customer care but there no response. They didnot ready to solve this problem
                            I had requested Airtel to convert my Post Paid number to Pre paid. As requested by the Airtel office all the documents have been submitted and signed. Now my number has been disabled. When I try to call this number it says invalid number. It appears that the Prepaid activation has not been done by the Airtel.

                            Now that I am in London, I would require somebody from Airtel to solve my issue, In any which case I want that sim to be activated as this is the number I have been using from very long and have personal sentiments towards it.

                            I have sent around 2 emails from your service request section available in My Airtel Application. But, nobody from Airtel has responded to date.

                              i lodged a complain to fraud management but eventually got thru to a customer agent who felt my complain was funny and began laughing despite the fact that airtel does not notify its customer on unsubscribed messages fee. this i must say is a poor gimmick to extort money from customers and to top it up, the customer agent on line laughs to show how unserious the organization is. this is poor i must say. thanks.

                                From past six year I am using Airtel Sim Card, but last month I asked for the Post paid plan, they call me and ask for document and i have given all required document to airtel executive with deposit amount of 300Rs. before giving Document the used to call daily and ask for document .As soon as i have given document they didnt pic the call and not respond properly . now i told them for refund amount now they are saying we will not give the Refund amount you come and collect the amount or else we willl recharge your mobile number with 249, remaining will deduct for taxes.
                                this type of false promises and the misguide the out station customer. So please before giving any document you confirm first about company.

                                  I am using airtel number [protected] from last 6 years.Last year around 10 th November 2013 I have converted my prepaid connection to the postpaid. But now I am facing problem while using airtel because of false billing. I have activated 2G unlimited internet service on my number from 10th Nov, 2013. My billing cycle is 20th to 19th. On 19th Jan 2014 9 p.m. I have called customer care to deactivate my 2G unlimited plan from next billing cycle i.e. 20th Jan 2014-19th Feb 2014.But in 20th Dec 2013 to 19th Jan 2014 billing cycle, Airtel had charged me the GPRS charges which is false.In that cycle I have 2G unlimited plan activated so how can airtel charge me for the GPRS use in that cycle.After giving the deactivation request I have not used the GPRS.

                                    Hi, This is Prasanna. I have taken one Airtel postpaid mobile connection on 23rd January 2014. The number allotted for me is [protected]. I bought this from ITPL Airtel Relationship Centre, Whitefield, Bangalore. The executive told me that the SIM will be activated within 24 hours at any cost. Now today is Monday 27th January 2014. As of now the SIM is not activated. I have mailed twice and contacted the 121 customer care more than 5 times. The reply I received is that the address verification on my connection is not yet done. It is not my fault. I dont know why this much delay in Airtel for address verification for a single Postpaid connection. I thought of taking another postpaid connection from Airtel for my wife. Now I dropped that idea. There is no meaningful reply from Customer care also. All fake commitments that customer care is working for 24 X 7. I sent a mail on Friday 24th January. I have not received a reply as of now. Their customer care is not working on Saturday and Sunday. At last I asked them to cancel my connection as it takes too much of time for activation. Atleast for this mail I am not sure the educated Airtel persons will reply or not. I got frustrated too much with the way they treat their customers. One customer care person is saying that address verification will take 7 days. Another person in the next time call is saying that it will take 24 hours. one more person is saying that it will take 72 hours from the time of purchase. There is no uniform reply and finally another person asked me to go and contact the dealer from where I purchased the SIM. This is how the Airtel company is treating their postpaid customers. The number 1 worst customer care experience that I have never had before.

                                    Hi, I have also the same concerns as Prassana has it. I recently shifted to Mumbai and have converted my circle from Bangalore to Mumbai Circle. I have submitted all the required documents and photographs that was asked for on 3rd March 2016 and till date there is no response. I have visited the Airtel store three times and have no count on the number of times spoken to the customer care executive. In the beginning at least my number was active and was on roaming but now my number itself says not valid. The worst experience I have had here with Airtel. I have even mailed so many people but have not got any response from any. Nor the Airtel store guy near dr BR Ambedkar Road, Wadala, Mumbai store has given any response. Expecting some response here. Please look into the issue ASAP.My postpaid number is [protected].

                                      my airtel digital tv is not working from the day when i brought. it is a new connection. i have paid and brought a new connection. after that if i call to toll-free nos it is not working. if called to this no[protected]. if i say my connection is not working. your balance -2000. i told i have brought a new connection. please let me know what is a problem. as per the plan it has to come to 2 months. the day when i brought is not working at all then why i have paid i brought. please give me some i will check and let you know kept for hold 30min. not responding at all. after 30min they are tell we need 24hrs to resolve the problem. it has been 2 weeks till the date. no body is ready to resolve the problem. 20 calls i have made to customer care. now i don't want a connection. i want my money back. i am not happy with the service. card no[protected] BR52002B B[protected] contact no [protected] email: [protected]@gmail.com response the complaint at list.

                                        Airtel sent me hiking bill in internet, then block my out going, then block my incoming that's why I couldn't make payment middle period. Then a guy named Mr Mallick ([protected]) contact me and ask for settlement with Rs 2200 and he promise me to give the prepaid SIM of that no [protected] after payment. I trust him and paid Rs 2200 by cash. The amount already deduct from my due amount. Neither he made any settlement nor he sent my SIM. For the rest due amount, the other guys ringing me daily. There is no response/answer from Mr Mallick and Airtel.

                                        Kindly take action immediately, I will be glad for your kindness.
