    I’ve received a mail from airtel on 14th December 2013, with 2 attachments. The attachments had the airtel bill on my name for Rs. 2211.58/-. From September 7th 2013, I have been constantly communicating to airtel over phone and mails for disconnection of aritel services which I was using. But instead of procedurally disconnecting the connection they are sending bills and they have also sent their representatives to my place, that too in an unsuitable hours without prior appointment for bill collection. I had taken the airtel connection (broadband and telephone line), vide number[protected] during October 2010. Then I was residing in GKM colony, Chennai 600 082. I had been provided with the connection from Airtel Periyar Nagar, Chennai 600082 Office. I had taken the connection in VijayaDhasami Offer. Airtel staff had explained me that this offer provides the following three benefits to me. 1. Normally, installation charge of Rs. 500 has to be paid for getting airtel connection. But with this offer if I pay Rs.500 initially, that will be adjusted in my next bill as a cash back offer. 2. In addition, Rs. 1000 is collected as security deposit, which will be refunded when surrendering the line after adjusting the dues, if any. But in this offer, the security deposit is waived and will be adjusted during connection termination and refund will be made after adjusting the last bill dues, as a cash back offer. 3. A reebok watch worth rs. 2500 will be delivered through courier. As this offer seemed attractive and worth I had subscribed to airtel connection, through periyar nagar airtel office. Offer 1 and 3 had been properly processed as said by them, immediately. Between August 2013 to September 2013, there was a change in billing plan and I received a bill for Rs. 1000/- (approx.) on 6th September 2013.Airtel executives had been calling me for past six months since, august 2013 and had been explaining about bill plan change with better benefits. They also said it is an optional migration and I have to migrate only if am interested to do so. But this bill plan has been changed without my consent. As I was not willing to continue the aritel service at a hiked billing, immediately on 7th September 2013 around 12:30 hours, I had contacted Airtel complaint cell 198 and I had communicated to disconnect my line with immediate effect. I believed that according to the offer through which I have subscribed for airtel connection, my last month bill will be adjusted. As my connection was not terminated till my bill due date I myself stopped using aritel services and sent a mail to [protected]@in.airtel.com on 7th October 2013, for disconnection of services. I also gave reference about my voice communication for disconnection over mail. But only after receiving a communication through email from airtel, I knew that my disconnection request was not processed or rather it was not even communicated through proper channels by airtel customer care executive who had attended my call on 7th September 2013 12:30 hrs. Anyhow I have provided all the information required for process of disconnection in my subsequent mails to [protected]@in.airtel.com. And on 28th October 2013, I received a mail from airtel that my disconnection request will be processed. Here I would like to clarify that the delay of processing disconnection from 7th September 2013 to 28th October 2013, is purely because of the mistake / negligence / fault of airtel customer care executive who had attended my call on 7th September 2013 12:30 hrs and I am no way responsible for this undue and unnecessary delay in connection termination. But airtel is generating bill for the period for which I have not been using the connection actively and trying to penalize me for the mistake committed by airtel executive, without communicating my decision for disconnection through proper channels. This is absolutely an unfair business practice. I am unnecessarily being forced to suffer unceasing mental agony because of these miscommunications and unfair bill demands from aritel. I would also like to mention that I have been a disciplined customer till the dot I communicated my disconnection notice and I had paid all the bills so far without any delay or default and I have properly communicated my decision for disconnection also. I want to be immediately relieved from over billing for the period for which I have not enjoyed any airtel services.

    Again on 20th December 2013 I have received another mail seeking immediate payment of Rs. 3122, that is calculated for still more later period of two months after disconnection. I am again and again being burdened with bills for the period in which I had never utilized any of the airtel services.

    I request an immediate relief in this issue.

      I tried many times online to update my existing airtel digital tv pack to Ala carte pack. Every time i attempt it show successful msg that my pack will change within 24 hours but still not changed. First time i tried on 7th Dec 2013 but still no output. Customer care also not helping everytime they are saying we have escalated this issue to higher authority and they will resolve within 24 hours

        Hi, I am using my mobile number Airtel - [protected] for more than 3 years now and yesterday on Saturday (14th Dec 13), without any prior indication, my incoming was blocked. I was not even aware of the situation until I received a contact unsuccessful message from a courier service. I asked my friends to call me, and they were unable to call me because Airtel have blocked my incoming calls. On contacting the customer care(as soon as I came to know about my issue) on 14th Dec(Sat night), they told me that my verification is unsuccessful( after 3+ years of card usage and loyalty), and so they blocked my incoming( and not outgoing, which is still wrong without a notice), and I can only unblock after I resubmit my documents. So, I am stuck, as Saturday is gone and Sundays, the relationship centers are closed. So, I am left for two days, wondering what EMERGENCY calls can come for me and I cannot receive my calls.           demand to return Airtel DTH Set top box

          Hi, Today I have received SMS from DM-MNKSHI(Airtel) to return Airtel DTH Set top box to avoid legal process. I am not using this from last 5-6 months, is that the procedure followed by Airtel. I think once you have purchased the Airtel DTH you can keep it forever & can activate / deactivate any time.           I bought airtel 4G LTE from one of the airtel executive and that time he told the service will be activaed within 48hr. After one and half days my physical verification and televerification was done and the guy who did physical verification told that your servic will be activated within 24hr. The 6 days got over even my service is not activated. I called airtel helpline [protected] and give my 10 digit 4G number and they told your information is not updated in database they cant activate my service. Than i called the guy to whom i buoght the device he told ok he will check and update me. But he did not update me and after some time he is not responding my call also. Than i called the guy who came for physical verification. he told me that he updated my information to department. I called the airtel physaical department and they told still database is showing blank. I got Manager number I called her, she said I'll update you in 2 hours. 8 hours have passed, no update from her yet. Too dissappointing.

          But i not got activation still .Now i am thinking Airtel is very worst service.

            my cell no.[protected]. originally this phone was under prepaid scheme and continuous persuasion by your executives, I changed over to postpaid. within three days of activation of postpaid, Iam fed up with services and some sort of cheating. one AKILA from Air tel office claimed to be EKATUTANGAL, CHENNAI from phone no[protected] liaising with me and she sent a executive to me, who handed over a SIM and taken Rs 300/. without giving me a receipt. on query he informed me that the amount was for security deposit. then my phone had a balance of Rs 179/ or in prepaid sheme. Now Iam surprised to find a message after three days of change over from pre paid to postpaid, bill dt 12/12 for Rs 164.90 is generated and it will reach you shortly. Now iam at loss that for one day use that is changed over only on 11/12, you levy me Rs 164.90.My use cannot be more than Rs 20-30 or so . I tried to get info from 121 but it gives bhashan that i neither have patience nor time to listen. I tried to contact on phone no.[protected] and no one responds in that phone for the past three days your executives did not explain any thing except they took a signature of mine on a blank form. I find no transparency in dealing with the customer I therefore, decided to quit from post paid and change to pre paid if not i would like to change over to other operators to stop this sort of harassment and pl direct one of your executive to contact me immediately.

                Hi Team, I Joseph Nefin requested to port two numbers (Vodafone -[protected] and Airtel prepaid -[protected]) to airtel postpaid on 27th October 2013 with Airtel Agency, Sun Shine Infosoft, Panampilly Nagar, Cochin, Kerala PH-[protected], [protected]. It took 1 month and 6 days to get my Vodafone number ported to Airtel postpaid. Other number [protected] Elizabeth Noorji (my fiancee) number porting is still pending for almost 1 month and 17days. I had requested to port it to my company CUG Postpaid connection on the same day.The Airtel dealer collected an activation charge of 300 which i shouldn't have given as it is a CUG company paid connection. He insisted me to pay it and I paid. But still after this many days number is not getting changed to postpaid. I had handed over my documents and all related data for both connections on the same day. I tried contacting the two Numbers they have provided, but I don't get any responds. Kindly revert if there is any mistake from my side and please do advice on this.

                  MY MOBILE NO IS [protected]. AND I HAD NOT REGISTERED FOR GETTING AR-BLALRT SMS SERVICE BUT FOR THE LAST FEW WEEKS I AM BEING CHARGED UNNECESSARILY I HAD LOST MY PREPAID MONEY ON THESE SMES. Also called Customer care a week back, but these unwanted SMSEs are STILL coming. I JUST WANT AIRTEL TO STOP THIS SERVICE AD-BLALRT AT ANY COST AND DON'T TROUBLE CUSTOMERS LIKE THIS.                   No resolution details have been shared with till now for the SMS problem raised as of 25 Dec'13.

                  As of 25 Dec'13 I am still getting the same SMSes TWICE A DAY as if nothing has happened despite efforts from you side.

                      I had provided security money and all required paper to AirTel executive on 21-Nov-13 for prepaid to postpaid conversion. After too much calling and complaining them about the conversion, I got a sms on my cell on 12-Dec-2013 to inset new postpaid sim to get start postpaid services. I done but not working...                         I have already registered a request on airtel website regarding my issue but no contact was made from your side to rectify our problem. I recently got a new broadband connection installed but I am not able to create an account on the website. This will create a problem for us as we have to pay our month's bill. Our bill due date is near and obviously you will be charging your late fees if not paid in time. My registered mobile number and my DSL number - [protected]_tn is showing as invalid. I tried to contact your engineer several times but he is not interested in helping us out. My second complaint is that I was promised a free modem with our new 80 GB unlimited connection (offer) by your sales representative but the engineer who came to install connection didn't give it at the time of connection and is refusing to give the modem to us now and is making excuses. I called him for 8-9 times during the past 1.5 months. Kindly look into this and try to get this solved.                           We had Airtel 4G LTE installed on 07/12/2013. It was activated on 12/12/2013.The speed of the internet is very slow. I have already contacted customer care for the stated problem but it did not help. Speed of internet is very very slow.Terribly disappointed with the product. My previous BSNL connection was way faster than this one. Please fix the problem ASAP!

                            Hi, I recently applied for prepaid to postpaid conversion of My AIrtel number [protected] through ABC enterprises Chennai under corporate offer of Rental 199(Mega delight CUG 199 Plan). Intial plan as tod by them is 600 minutes free talktime for local mobiles and a Prepaid Airtel number can be added as CUG.But after getting the application form now they say only postpaid numbers can be added in CUG. This is PURE cheating by Airtel Dealer/Representatives and Airtel also seems to encourage them Service has been stopped on my Prepaid number, But my post paid Sim not activated.Customer care executive says Address mismatch(Even though i gave xerox copies of address properly and also received verification completed SMS.(They called me yesterday and checked the address) Now i am asked to go to Airtel Relationship center by customer care All my financial transactions are blocked because of this

                                I have been a customer of Airtel since 2006. I have been facing call drop and net connectivity issues since 2-3 months and no resolution is being provided till date after my repeated complaints. I tried to contact the customer service desk about 15-20 times but was not able to connect to the mobile service. when the IVR was asking me to enter 1 for mobile service even when i entered 1 it was not accepting. This is really poor service by Airtel. I have tried all methods to resolve this issue but your service department is not supporting anything. The information provided to me is not helping me in any way at all. Today was the end of my patience as i was calling customer service and it was not connecting. I have the entire video recording of the call that i was making and IVR was failing to respond to any of my requests (i can share the video recording anytime). How can a customer get good service where he is not able to connect to the customer service dept. when i contacted the customer service dept. the executive told me a solution. It was to go to the Airtel service center and get the SIM checked. There is no method to check the SIM at any of your Airtel Service centers. The executive just checked the sim manually and returned it to me again. The problem thus remained unresolved. If anyone can help me within the next 24-48 hrs i wont move to another service provider, else i will consider doing number portability with another service provider. Airtel horrible service has forced me to take this decision. If my complaint is not resolved i will approach the top management of Airtel (i know all he contacts) and raise this issue. Thanks Milind

                                    I have been using Airtel Broad band connection for more than 2 years[protected], bangalore) In the month of September 2013, I have given move request within city (from Kaggadaspura to Shanti Nagar). While making move request, I have clearly told not to change my plan (once it happened earlier to me) without informing me. During shifting of connection, back-end team called me and said 4Mbps speed is feasible in new location, and there is no need to change plan and no need to change landline number also. Then, I have accepted to continue the procedure. Next day, I have received SMS saying "plan has been changed". Immediately called customer care people and fought with them. Finally, they have accepted to offer "300 Rs voice cap" as an add-on to my plan. During September cycle bill, "300 Rs voice cap feature" was not reflected. Customer care people told it would be reflected in next month bill. During October month bill also, "300 Rs voice cap feature" was not considered. Again called customer care people, they told, even though customer care people agreed to provide this feature, they have not activate that feature. So, they activated it on November 11th. As, I am not responsible for this miscommunication, I have asked to modify my bill. Customer care executive raised Service request. Without informing me, back-end team closed the case. Again after few days called Customer care, again they raised service request. Again, back-end team closed without informing me. I told, I would not pay the bill. Customer care executive told, as it was not activated before November 11th, even back-end team can not do anything. So, customer care executive suggested me to pay the bill as there was nothing to do. Finally paid the bill (ended up paying around Rs 1800 more), even though there was **** no single mistake from my side ****. Again, November month bill, they did not consider "300 Rs voice cap" feature. Again called (on 11th Dec) customer care, executive is reluctant to open another service request and said he would arrange call back from back-end team.                                       My Airtel Landline Number is : [protected] My Registered Mobile Number : [protected] Airtel Account Number : 14869742 Receipt No. for IPTV Connection (CEF No.) : 3488938 My Email ID : [protected]@hotmail.com / Nikhil[protected]@gmail.com I have paid Rs. 3500 to Airtel on 25th November 2013 for installing IPTV connection. They promised to activate my IPTV connection the next day i.e 26th November 2013 but they neither Activated my IPTV connection nor Refunded my money back. They just keep on pushing the date to resolve my issue. Firstly, they said that their team will contact me before 11-DEC-2013 11:00AM. Then they pushed the date to 31-DEC-2013 05:15 PM. When I tried to contact them my Mail then they gave another date 03-JAN-2014 12:15 PM. Each time I try to contact them in this matter they give me new Date to solve my issue. I don't think they want to Refund my money or Activate my IPTV. I'm feeling so cheated with my money. They just installed wiring for the connection and also provided with IPTV Set-up box which their technician have removed and taken back with him and never shown their faces after that. They asked me for downgrade my Airtel Broadband speed from 16mbps to 8mbps which I did the next day. Then I asked them to activate my IPTV and Install the Set-Up Box again. But they keep on saying that your IPTV connection has been cancelled and can't be Activated. Also they refused to refund back my money. Now they are just trying to delay the matter whenever I try to contact them. I have also send the Scanned copy of the Receipt which I received after paying Rs. 3500 for installation of IPTV. I have never used their IPTV service for a single day as they never activated IPTV service in my number. I have attached the scanned copy of Receipt and Mail chat with Airtel Customer Care as a proof that they are trying to DELAY that matter.
