Respected sir,
On Nov 28th, I went to Airtels outlet located opp to abirami mall, puraisaiwalkam, Chennai to buy 3G Data card. Airtel executive told me that if you take unlimited post paid browsing plan (cost 950rs per month) for 3 months, you would be getting a 3g data card (dongle) for free.
So I paid 2850 rs and taken that 3months plan and got the post paid card with the no [protected] and also a data card .
After 3 months, that is , now I am getting a call from Airtel legal dept asking me to pay for the Data card. I have explained him but he seemed to be unaware of that plan.
So he asked me to talk to the Airtel executive who sold me this. I contacted him and he asked me to contact customer care. I called customer care, They asked me to talk to the billing dept.
And that's it, I am here now.
It looks no one seems to be responsible for this and redirecting me from one dept to another. As a service provider, It should be Airtels responsibility to talk to the concerned dept, not the customers responsibility.
I request for strict action to be taken against Airtel for the false claim and also for not being accountable.

Airtel — service careless
I recharged my mobile no.[protected] with rs 498 on 26.5.2008 for gprs connection but service not yet been provided.I want to know whats my fault taking service from u.I have tried every thing that ur cc said to try.Is that customer care or careless by hareshing us. i m from purulia district, W.B.
