sir i had earlier contacted u regarding the portability of ma no. [protected] back into airtel from aircel. i had submitted the documents on 17 jan 2013. the no. has not ported yet. i enquired about the unusual delay at the franchisee and finally i was assured at the franchisee that the no. will port into airtel on 3rd march. being totally unsatisfied with the services provided by aircel i got an airtel sim from ma friend promising him to return it on 4th march. i placed ma aircel sim in ma wallet. to my misfortune ma cousin fell ill and we had to shift him to AIIMS. meanwhile one of our relatives passed away and in all this confusion i lost ma wallet in which i had kept the sim. today on 29th march i went to the franchisee once again but the careless person told me that the UPC code has expired. when i argued y he didnt deliver the documents in time he said the the delay was because of the shutdowns in J & K. the fact is that i submitted the documents on 17th jan and the unrest started on 9th feb. one more thing is that he told me that he had confirmed the date of activation of ma airtel sim, on 25th feb, when he told me that the sim is going to activate on 3rd march . now i cant get the code as ive lost the aircel sim. for ur info i'd tell u that when i ported it into aircel from airtel the UPC code validity used to be only 15 days then. and it took only 25 days for the whole process. nowadays the validity of the code is 30 days but the stupid airtel personnel and franchisee being careless did not forward the documents well in time. now i have almost lost ma number and am very worried as i've mentioned the no. everywhere, in university,nears and dears. ive qualified the written test of the jk bank relationship executive and have to appear for the interview now. im worried about if the bank ever intends to contact me how they can as this is the very no. which ive mentioned in ma written test application form. im totally depressed and ive decided that if not sorted within a few days i'll sue airtel into the consumer court on the charges of carelessness, leading to ma mental stress and inconvenience, Besides i'll publish the news in a couple of newspapers that will lead to loss of goodwill to airtel.... so better defend ur company goodwill. i[censored] wish to contact the franchisee the no. is [protected].

I recharged my mobile no.[protected] with rs 498 on 26.5.2008 for gprs connection but service not yet been provided.I want to know whats my fault taking service from u.I have tried every thing that ur cc said to try.Is that customer care or careless by hareshing us. i m from purulia district, W.B.

I have received a missed call contoinuously during the late night. Somebody talking with vulger words regarding sexual. I received the display number is +622520. I don't know where its came from. Please findout the address and inform me at the earliest. It will helpful to complaint the cyber crime branch to me.

you can submit an FIR against Him at ur near police station.
If you are not expecting any other calls, switch off the mobile at night and have a good sleep.
or call your mobile srvice provider and block that number or if your handset has an option of blocking the number, use it.

Airtel — Address of personnel

Sir, i am getting a call from [protected] continuously. using abusing languages and giving threatening of life. can you please tell me how i can get the address of the same person. I have checked that the person is having airtel sim from internet.

    I am receiving a bill for a prepaid connection holded by someone else. I have fowarded a complaint to consumer forum department.

    Airtel Postpaid Connection — Bill not being received regularly

    I have not received my bill so far though the last date for payment was 14.11.2008. In the past also, the bills are not being received regularly. On one occasion it resulted into delayed payment for which I had unnecessarily to suffer for the delay on the part of airtel . The matter may please be looked into and it may be ensured that the bills are delivered regularly and timely.

    i recieved message on my phone to pay my bill however i have not recieved my bill tilldate.i have payed my dues on 08 dec.also my phone doesnt work outside jammu eventhough its a postpaid one

    Bharti Airtel postpaid connection — Bill yet not received at mailing Address

    Sir,
    it is to inform you that affter three repeted complain regarding not reciving the bill at the mailing address, the Bill is not yet recived till now. Against further verification, they replied that bill is already recived after signed at the mailing address but it is not true at my point.

    Please look and sort out the matter as soon as possbile at the earliest.

    We are using [protected] postpaid connection from airtel from past many year the only problem we are facing with airtel is they are not delivered the monthly bill properly for that we have complaint serveral times to 121 / 198 or even airtel retails shop but every time we got insurance that they will resolve our complaint with in 48hrs to 72 hrs but result nothing this current month same thing happen we received message that bill delivered & kindly pay due amonut for that we have enqiure 198 regarding bill delivery where we got reply from cust care bill has been received by some Mr Gopal i can challange that nobody by this name at my home even my neighbours that shows courier company showing fake delivery to airtel & we are suffering for same

    Kindly help us to resolve this issue because now this has happen again & again after every 2-3 month.

      on 18th march, I applied for port request from vodafone to airtel. And I was said that my mobile number [protected] will be ported to airtel within a week or in 10days.
      On 23rd noon, I received a sms that my number will be ported to airtel at midnight 12.30 .
      But, today it has become 11th day and yet it is not ported. Please guide and help me to find solution for it, so that I don't wanna lose that number.

        Respected sir,

        On Nov 28th, I went to Airtels outlet located opp to abirami mall, puraisaiwalkam, Chennai to buy 3G Data card. Airtel executive told me that if you take unlimited post paid browsing plan (cost 950rs per month) for 3 months, you would be getting a 3g data card (dongle) for free.

        So I paid 2850 rs and taken that 3months plan and got the post paid card with the no [protected] and also a data card .

        After 3 months, that is , now I am getting a call from Airtel legal dept asking me to pay for the Data card. I have explained him but he seemed to be unaware of that plan.

        So he asked me to talk to the Airtel executive who sold me this. I contacted him and he asked me to contact customer care. I called customer care, They asked me to talk to the billing dept.

        And that's it, I am here now.

        It looks no one seems to be responsible for this and redirecting me from one dept to another. As a service provider, It should be Airtels responsibility to talk to the concerned dept, not the customers responsibility.

        I request for strict action to be taken against Airtel for the false claim and also for not being accountable.

        Hi,
        I am an airtel broadband customer. I had subscribed to the broadband connection and paid them 6 months in advance. Still in the bill they have added the amount and ask me to pay again (Rs 6995/.).
        I raised a complaint with ref number 55038498. They have now marked it as resolved (and have not informed me until I checked the status), and still the bill amount has not changed.

        Can you please let me know what steps to take, as this is not the first time they are taking me to the edge.

          Sir,
          I am from Tamil Nadu & using airtel prepaid number (TN circle). But in my screen display, the network is has been shown VODAFONE IN/AIRTEL (In Andhra Pradesh). I have checked with another airtel sim in AP. But in that display, it appears AIRTEL. Manually i searched the available networks in my phone & my friend's phone. My friend's phone detects airtel signal whereas in my phone, AIRTE SIGNAL WAS NOT IN THE AVAILABLE NETWORKS LIST. I have interchanged the sim cards & tried again. Still no change. I surprised when i see this. My prepaid balance was deducted so many times without making outgoing calls & sending sms in roaming. I'd been charged for browsing though i had active GPRS in roaming. 121 customer care is not valid in roaming & i called for AP customer care centre. They told me to call TN customer care centre. I have reached TN service centre by +[protected] & I spoke with the customer service representatives for roaming charges in. I had been charged Rs 1.5/min. Airtel customer care was not helping when I go out of station.

          Kindly clarify the following:
          1. In airtel sim, why does the vodafone IN signal is crossing?
          2. Why does the airtel sim is not getting airtel signal?
          3. Why does the airtel signal was not appearing in the list of available networks?
          4. How to reach TN customer service centre in roaming?

          Sir/mam, i m having problem while i m in roaming. If anyone call me while roaming then somtime they hear voibe that 'this no does't axist'.
          And i m also anable to call while roaming..

            I am a regular prepaid customer of Airtel spending about Rs. 3000 per month on recharges and services. I use an IPhone 5. I always subscribe to the 3G service and usually take an unlimited plan. There is usually 3G available on my telephone number [protected]

            On 17th March 2013 I activated a Rs. 655 unlimited plan which is valid for 30 days. This is confirmed by the company as can be seen in the trailing mails. The service worked well for two days and thereafter from 21st March there has been no 3G service on my number. Initially I thought that it was a location issue but there was no 3G in the whole of Pune!

            Subsequent to making a complaint I keep getting the same standard email reply. I also get calls from the Customer service agents who ask canned irrelevant questions and give me the same standard replies even though the replies were given earlier with no results.

            Lack of service for 7 days on a 30 day plan amounts to a deficiency of 25% and Airtel is not going to extend the service nor refund the advance charge!

            Strangely, I received a call from +[protected] on 29th March inquiring about why there was a drop in my usage! Really!! Once again I got the same canned questions and replies and after reminding them that I use an IPhone they still provide settings and procedures for a normal handset!

            I would like to point out that I had raised a complaint about lack of 3G services in Calangute Goa in December/January as well.

            The company isn't taking this deficiency in service seriously and some action needs to be taken. Accepting and advance payment for a service and not delivering is cheating!

            Airtel — Connectivity and Lack of process

            The fire at Lower Parel has clearly shown that the company has no back up plan and not geared for any emergency. The blackberry service provided is absolutely useless as mojority of time you cannot call "Radio Path Unavailable" is the sessage you get. Connectivity is very poor across the city . Unfortunately I have three Airtel Connections and none of them have proper connectivity. Mcheck launched by the for Bill payment is a faliure as nor the website nor their online system works. To Top it they have tied up with Kingfisher and Amex for their credit card. The co branded card is not accepted on the website or their bill payment centre. It clearly shows how weal their internal process are and external comitment to its consumers is all of very poor quality

                Sir/madam,
                Im staying in hostel and working in MNC company in chennai. Very recently i took a postpaid connection with numbers [protected], [protected]. Sir the repesentative of airtel who took order for two postpaid connection is MR Iyaappan from airtel. Sir while taking connection this person from dint say anything about any deposit amount. Even while verification of my present hostel address they dint say anything about deposit amount. But, after we started using both postpaid connection we get a call from cusomer service airtel by saying that we need to pay deposit of 400Rs. As we stay in hostel address. But sir, the address proof i have given is MY PASSPORT xerox which is having my permanent address further they have also got my OFFICE ID. Even after this they giving a reason that they dont trust those live in hostel.

                Sir, AIRTEL is saying that an indian passport xerox is not worth for taking mobile connection. I have also raised the complaint on the same with airtel customer care for cheating customer like this and not informing things properly earlier. Further, when i ask customer care they simply say that i should go and ask the person with whome i take mobile connection.

                Sir, while taking connection they came to us and took connection and now they say we should go and ask the person. is it our duty to ask is there a deposit or their duty to inform that we have to pay deposit while we take connection. If they have told we would have informed no need such connection at all.

                Now after we gave all our contacts our new number they are making us to do like this. now they saying if we wish we can disconnect our connection. My reference number on this complaint with airtel F[protected].

                Please take up the issue and give us right direction.

                  i have been recharge rs 98/- for airtel net (650 mb )on 20.3.13,but net is active in my numb [protected].yet from that day i did not open the net of the temporally problem persists.it is very very very..slow . when open the net then shows response unknown and packet data connection not available.then a long time net signal is showed and cutted the charges.but net did not opened. Airtel net for doing internet on mobile. For the last month or more i cannot properly surf the net. The problem is that less than 25% web sites can be opened. When i try to open a page a message is shown either reply unknown or no gateway reply. The problem has become so severe that the last 7 days when i used Airtel internet i could not even check my e-mail. Also Airtel has blocked us from using opera mini and other web browsers. I contacted Airtel customer care but the problem remains. Please help me.

                  Airtel — customer care & policies

                  Airtel customer care is very bad. I have called them to cancel my account and the agent told me that he does not have the permission to cancel it and he needs to forward me to another department which will make me a call back in 4 hrs. I did not get any call within the stipulated SLA. I reminded them one more time after a day's wait and now they gave me another id for future references with the same story. Still i did not get any response from them. I had to call them up again after waiting one more day. Same story awaits. Moreover surprisingly, i was told by the agent that no supervisor was available.

                  Finally the concerned department calls me up and says that it is cancelling the account as of today and not the day of submission.

                  Funny part is they are charging me for speaking to their customer care and no service was available including their supervisor and the concerned department. The person started giving me gyan of how reputed this airtel company is and when i shared the story, he simply backed out saying that he will take my feedback and put the phone down.

                  Not sure if this is the same case when we cancel the mobile service. Such a pathetic situation, hope the awareness of Customer Relationship increases in India.

                    This is to inform you that few days ago i had requested for My Number Portability of my three numbers from Airtel to IDEA where after few days i got to know that MNP for all my three numbers : [protected], [protected] and [protected] has been rejected by Airtel without any valid reason.

                    When i called Airtel they informed me that the same can not be done because i am using a corporate plan and for MNP i have to change my connections to individual first which was not informed to me before or at the time i had received the call from the retention person of airtel and also when i had joined airtel from vodafone wherein i was also in a corporate plan i was not supposed to do the same.

                    I request you to look into the same as Airtel is not concerned about the issues i am facing with the poor services i am getting from them from the very first day.

                        It is a said to say that the facility that the telecommunication providing is not for out benefir but its like a punishment for us that we are using mobiles.

                        the companies i do not why deducting the amount as whenever they are in mood when we call to customer service people the say that you had applied for this service.

                        why we do apply when we apply we dont know.this happens regurarly as we do have more than balance of Rs 50.and block the number as we call them regulary that why you deduct the amount from the balance.

                        I am Using AIRTEL number and they deduct my balance.I am using airtel gprs last 5 to 6 months but today 4 oct,2011 they deduct my balance 44rs. when i called the customer care they said me your charges has deduct for using GPRS. But i recharged my internet pack of 98rs and last date of my pack 6th-oct,2011.Yet i have 10 mb left before deduction.

                        I used internet on my pc atleast 10-15 minutes only i opened normal small sites like google,facebook,yahoo and gmail after that when i disconnect the internet, message was show that you have used 50mb and also you have free space of 0.9mb left.

                        I want to know that if i used 50mb so how to show 0.9mb left. I tell you one thing i am using internet last 2 years but doesn't happened like this with any company.

                        This is to kindly inform you that, yesterday my wife(shazia) had a call from Airtel Customer Care regarding hellotune plan... they told that there are lot of plan i.e. yearly, half yearly.. and for 3 month etc... but she said No No No and No.. I dont want any such scheme right now... and then suddenly the call was disconnected by them and after few seconds she received a SMS thanks for subscribing for hellotunes... then she called at customer care and told all the things... but representative/operator (Manu) told to her... that, after your go ahead only hellotune is started on your phone... but shazia told that there was no confirmation from my side... and requested to remove my hellotune and refund my account balance. Manu told to her it is impossible... consequently shazia asked to change the hellotune song since it was not good enough to be kept as dialer tone. .. Shazia changed her hellotune song since she felt very helpless because the amount was already deducted and they were not ready to refund. Her mobile number is [protected].

                            I have changed my mobile network form BSNL to Airtel using MNP. Everything went fine for about 10 days. All of a sudden outgoing calls were barred without any notice. I contacted the retailer and submitted the documents for the second time too. After a week incoming calls were also barred. I submitted the documents again in Airtel office. Still there is no action.

                                  every time unnecessary amount from prepaid account and cuctomer services do not response proper;y this has took place many times whenever customer care excutive talks he or she says our server is down or system is having some technical problems

                                  No permanent solution is being provided by Airtel customer services and its stop working again.

                                  I have got highly obnoxious response from airtel customer side, it is highly unsatisfactory as well as irresponsible response by their side.they directly refused me to provide my sim without any inquiry of my concern and . however i have strong proof of that this sim belongs to me such as i have envelope of lost sim as well as i was the customer of reliance for three year for same number.
                                  as a customer, i will suggest airtel to improve their customer service and entertain their customer concern seriously.

                                    on 26 march 2013 at 4:10pm, I did recharge of 17 rupees 3G plan (which gives 45 minutes unlimited 3g). i got sms saying
                                    "hello! congratulations. you are entitled to 45.000 rupees DA 12 to be used within the period of 1 day from the dated of entitlement until mar 27 2013..."
                                    After that i connected to internet but balance is deducted form main balance. i have not got 45 min 3g. please airtel give 45 min 3g or refund my 17 rupees.

                                    AirTel — DEDUCTION OF BALANCE FOR SERVICES NOT ACTIVATED

                                    Dear Sir /Madam
                                    Its been 3 months since repeatedly again and again money is being deducted from mobile no. [protected](prepaid).Type of deduction is 1 re per day or 3 rupees at atime .once 15 rupees were deducted for some hello tune download.On calling airtel customer care, they you have activated some xyz service and thats why balance is being deducted.Actulally we never activated any service still this kind of blunders happens, They also committed to return the money to the account but that also never happened .please take necessary action.

                                    Airtel — Plan Change and balance deduction

                                    Without any intimation the plan has been changed from 150 free sms per day to 100 free sos per day, and according to the previous plan after the 150 free sms per day it was it charges 10paisa per sms and now after 100 sms its charging 1 rupee per sms. in the similar way i hav been deducted 18 rupees. After all these if i try to complain to the customer care they have blocked the calls to customer care without intimation and any reasons. This is my number [protected].
