My mobile number is[protected]. I subscribed airtel 2gb 3G data pack; however I received message from air tel " You have consumed 100%Â of the built in 3G speed for your airtel mobile .Speed is now revised.For continued 3G speed SMS 3G to 121 and select a 3G pack "

It is frustrating. I am getting speed of 50 kbps on first day of recharge. Pathetic service by airtel. Customer care person also not able to understand the issue.

    Hi,

    I had airtel broadband connection at my home. At that time of new connection,I paid Rs. 2150 (as 3 months
    advance payment). Later i disconnected the connection. Airtel executives also came to my place to take the modem & phone instrument back.They also have provided the receipt for the same.

    Now i am asking for refund of my deposit amount, airtel customer is saying they do not have record of deposit amount with them.
    Its been four months, MY PROBLEMS ARE NOT RESOLVED. I have provided all the details like deposit receipt & bank statement of withdrawal by airtel.

    Its very disappointing that such a big & branded company(Airtel)is doing such things to their customers.

    Kindly help us to get our problem resolved.

    Airtel — NOT refunding my deposit money

    Sir,

    I am an erstwhile Airtel customer from AP and my previous mobile number was

    This mail is with reference to the amount of Rs. 8000/- deposited against my mobile number with Airtel. Although I have surrendered both my numbers and they are no more operational as I moved to Bangalore but I still haven't got my money back. I have been speaking to various representatives
    but no help so far. Few weeks back I got to know that on Dec 24th 2007, a check of 8K was sent to my Secunderabad address where I do not live anymore. I do not understand when before leaving Secunderabad, I had informed Airtel staff that I have moved to Bangalore and gave my Bangalore
    address in writing, why are they sending my money to Secunderabad?

    Till date, I have contacted Airtel AP circle through STD calls and through mails and everytime, they give me false promises that they would help me. It's been 7 months now since I have surrendered my numbers but still haven't got my money back. Also to my surprise, they have deducted Rs.1000 which they are unable to explain. I need your help to get my money back.

    Airtel Broadband — Not reciept of deposite money

    I have deposited 600 INR for a Broadband connection on jan -1, 08 but the local executive did not gave the connection until 18 - jan. After 18 jan they said there is no slot available Now there have been 6 months and no money no connectionPlease any body DO NOT GO FOR AIRTEL...

    Bharti Airtel — Did Not Return Deposit Money on disconnecting the Number

    I had been using an Airtel number [protected]. I used this number for 5 months and on disconnecting the number after that, Airtel was supposed to return the Deposit money Rs. 250 which they had initially taken as security deposit.
    However, they paid me only Rs. 102 out of 250 in spite of myself clearing all their bills in advance.
    Thanks for the clarification on my query.

    Request you to please take care of my second complaint also that I talked to you about yesterday. This complaint is of prime importance. Please treat it on priority.

    Airtel Broadband — refund money

    Dear Sir,

    I have applied for airtel broadband on 15/06/2010 through an executive by paying cash of Rs.1000/- and my application no. is SEF No. CH 1036652. After receiving the money they totally neglected about giving connection and later after 10 days when I called them they told area exceeds the limit etc.etc. I was told that the refund amount of Rs.1000/- will be delivered through cheque/DD directly to my home.


    But it has been 2 months already I did not get any refund amount from airtel broadband. Kindly make arrangements to refund my money or kindly let us know what action can I initiate to stop entertaining these fraud commitments. Kindly do the needful or let me know where to contact to get my money back.

    Note: I shallprovide all the proofs along with required details as soon as i get response for this complaint.
    Hope this complaint doesn't go in vain.

    AIRTEL/BROADBAND — refunding money

    i have applied for a broadband connection on 31/12/2011 and paid Rs 1000/- cash with documents, they told me that they would provide the service within 7 working days but they didn't. they gave me the reason that due to some technical problem they were unable to provide and they will refund the money now its 30/04/2012 and i haven't received yet.

      I provided documents for airtel PrePaid to PostPaid conversion to airtel rep. All the verifications are done and got sms from airtel remove prepaid sim and put postpaid sim . But it did not work. After calling customer care 50 times...they told me looks like sim number is not correct surely its airtel fault.

      postpaid — rectify sim number

      As per service regd no[protected] i applied for migration of my post paid connection to prepaid . Because of ur' s exec. mistakes my sim no has given wrong & my actual sim no is H[protected] . Please consider my case & accept my querries so i will be obliged

      Airtel Post Paid — Not responding the query

      I was holding a postpaid number [protected] in Noida. ON 12th Nov 07, i personally visited a customer care office and put a request to discontinue the same number as i was moving to Bangalore on 15th Nov 07.
      WHile coming to Bangalore, Packers and Mover stole my cell on 14th Noc 07.
      I was told by the customer care officer that my number will be blocked with in 72 hrs.SO it should be blocked on 15thNOv.
      Very recently i got a call from Airtel, asking me to pay the bill that were generated in the months od Dec, Jan, Fab and March.
      After all this, i talked to the Airtel for hrs to send me the bill details, but they are not providing me and creating problems. They have a pathetic service. Even do not reply the mails.
      I am asking them to provide the bills and my request details that i put to discontinue the Airtel post paid number.
      Even i had the same experience with airtel. I feel like sueing them. On march 24th i personally went to the customer care office in vashi in mumbai and submitted all the documents and NOC to transfer the account holder name. They said verification would be done within 15 days and god knows wat happened till now no person has come to verify and even the account holder is the same. Inspite of me calling to the customer care people guys they say u need to go and contact the office where we submitted the documents.
      And how do they think like that. To submit the documents i have taken leave and again to meet them regarding this again i have to take leave bull .
      People in the office dont respond correctly . They dont listen to customers. It is not the case with me only, it is the same even with my friends who use this airtel service. I dont know whether they will be a change in their service.
      I have card of Virar Area, but i cannot call from Mumbai since 15 days.10 times i have call customer care but no response
      I have sent one mail to conumer court

      Please rectify my problem

      The same happened here, but my questions here is will these complaints posted will be listned by some one ? and is there going to be any action against it ?

      I have the similar problem with airtel that i have bought a new no, but the guy gave me an old sim which some times works and sometimes says Inactive sim card,

      Wont these beggars reliaze that its our hard earned money .

      And in my prepaid a/c airtel have been deducting money saying that i have downloaded java games and for downloading animations for 65 Rs. which i have not .

      They can beg instead of doing like this .

      Dear sir i want to inform u that a few days ago your customer care executive called me told me about some postpaid plans i liked the plan and told her to send a field executive to collect my documents and money he came and collected all the documents on 24-07-08 and told me that i ll get the connection in 24 hrs but till now i have not got the connection and more over when i call them they disconnect the phone.sir r u making us fool by all this if this is the condition then i ll have to quit airtel and take some other connection more over i ll also log a fake case in the near by police station regarding my money.so sir may u be kind enough to look into the matter.

      Post Paid — Sim Based Services not functioning

      It Has been brought in notice that the services of airtel are not up to mark since app last 3-4 months where the company executive tries to missguide and are trying all funny techniques.

      Letter Initiated on 19/1/2010 & Service Request Form dated 20/1/2010 No 249054 Goes as Follows


      A, Refer Old Complaint noted Some 3-4 months back regarding Call not able to connect on Code197 ( A no provided by BSNL for Telephone Dictionary) Had to pay for contacting the Regional Manager Mr Tejas Mankad & The Appelate Authority where I was not only miss guided by the Applet Authority but was also surprised the way she had handelled the issue. Where she atleast had no knowledge what went wrong .An issue at Airtel Side

      Because of which i had to loose rs 700/- when met with an accident as was not able to contact 0281197 for contacting the values for knowing estimated losses at Rajarshi Bajaj.

      B,Last mont the MMS & Airtellive services were sudenly stopped .Atlast after contacting the Regional Manager Mr Tejas Mankad & Appelate Authority Mr Ganpat nearly after trying 4-5 times got the settings manually at the busiest hour and was litrally on the edge to lodge a complaint as different executives were handelling the issue in an un organised manner.But Airtel Live never was started.

      C,Same time even after N nos of reminders the team is not able to start the sim based services & different executives gives us fake commitments that the services are started ,which has not only left me frustrated as loosing time ,money & mental peace in informing the same issue for nearly 13-18 times each time the call received or call made to the concern .Wasted nearly 8-10 Hrs till date contacting the concerns & the charges for which Airtel or associate is responsible.An issue at Airtel side because of which not even a single customer of Airtel Gujarat can use the Service Aitel Live Sim Base Service.But charges gets deduced for the SMS sent .

      It's a high time when the services/Faults are arise at such a time when needed at the utmost.

      Loss of approximate 300/- have been incured just in visiting the stores or the regional Manager.Loss of about 275/- in talk time in informing the concern within this 3-4 months.A claim of 50000/- for mental harrasment is also charged as not considering the matter important ,The ignorace to the above noticed problems leads me to apper here on the consumer forum.

      Kindly look in to the matter as really am fed up with the above pressures faced .

        Dear Sir,

        Me and my wife was using airtel corporate connections of mobile and later She wanted to change the ownership of one mobile number to my name(Husband). We approached a Airtel relationship center located at Sanjaynagar Bangalore(Pooja airtel Treasurers) 6th March 2013. They took all the documents and without acknowledgement they hold without processing for one month but they promised to do the process within 24hours. I was in a assumption that they have already changed but when I went to pay the bill I came to know that they have not even started the process.

        I had a long discussion with them but they had sorry faces without reasons I warned them and insisted to process. They started and again they promised the same saying that your account name will change within 24hours and before that they will call and inform.

        Later without information they have disconnected my number. After I visited the same relationship center, they said its on process thats why they disconnected it will activate in 24 hours. But later as per their instructions I was waited so many times nothing progress happened. I had called customer care 6 times after waiting so many times, but nobody responded with a solution or nobody has given complaint reference number for my acknowledgement.

        They have disconnected my number on 10th April '13 and till now (14th April'13 9.45am) its not activated and no confirmation when it will happen.

        I am facing lot of difficulty and lost many business calls due to this problem and still facing. This show Airtel pure negligence of customer service and they are least bother about customer. If any one of the employee in airtel still feels that customer is important they will call me and say sorry for the inconvenience and activated the number and confirm the same.

        Dear Sir
        I would like to inform the "Negligence of Service "offered to me regarding Shifting of my DTH service from Madurai to Chennai.
        On 9th April I contacted 12150 regarding shifting.They adviced me to recharge to Rs 500.
        On 10th Apr I recharged for the said amount and informed Ms.Sangeetha and Mr Farhan of Cust Care and they provided me the compliant No 2370749.
        As your Engineers at Madurai not responded Mr Farhan adviced me to remove the DTH on my own.
        On reaching Chennai ,again I reminded the Cust Care ( Ms Anila ) on 12th for installation of my DTH thru service req no 2397138.
        At 2.47 pm I am getting an SMS that it has been resolved.
        On 13th Apr I called up Cust care ( Ms Lavanya ) and she assured me that DTH will be installed at 6 pm on 13th.
        As there is no response I escalated this issue to Mr Mallika Arjun and Mr Rajesh.
        Mr Rajesh gave me the complaint No as 2406271 on 13th April.
        Sir I want to know when it will be installed at my new address at chennai.

            I have a 2G plan active on my number [protected] which entitles me to a total of 4 GB (2GB day and 2GB night) usage. Since the end of Feb this year for some reason my daily data usage is being charged fro my main account balance rather than from the 4GB free data usage provided by the pack. The charges vary from day to day and I have to call up every day requesting for refunds and a solution to the problem. Although I do agree that the refund is being provided that is not a satisfactory solution to the problem, as you will agree having to call them each day is quite a nuisance and is down right frustrating. The deduction of the balance from the main balance needs to stop and correctly be deducted from the free data usage provided. PLEASE HELP...

              Hi,
              Initially when I bought a postpaid SIM ,they said it will be much cheaper than the prepaid.
              they showed me the plans and according to my budget I choose the best one to cut my cost of calling.
              First month they billed me around 900.I was shocked,but I paid as I had no options left.
              From the next month onwards they started sending bill over 1100 Rs.I had no options left as ther was network issues in my locality.I asked the customer care and even the vendor where I bought the sim that Please change it to prepaid.They said after this week and then after 1 month and so on.
              Even I paid bill of 1700 Rs.
              But this month they charged me 3300 Rs bill.I am really unable to pay.I am already under money crisis and working in a private company .My family is still under huge debt.
              Please do something.

                Airtel DTH has increased the monthly charges from Rs. 200 to Rs. 220 and also withdrawn some channels without information. I complaint to them on 6th April 2013 and as neither consumer service executive nor his supervisor was able to help I requested for disconnection, this was promised. On 8th April 2013 Ms Nisha Maurya called up from Customer Retention Department called up and spoken to my wife and promised that some channels which has been withdrawn from the monthly pack will be restarted for 6 months but the monthly pack charges needs to be paid Rs 220.00 as she will not be able to do anything on this.

                We agreed and got the connection re-charged with Rs 350.00, but the channels as promised by Ms Nisha Maurya to be re-started were still blocked. Thereafter I again called up the helpline and they informed me that Ms Nisha Mauray has not made necessary instruction to restore the blocked channels but has cancelled my deactivation request on 8th April 2013 itself getting this information took approx 49 mins.

                It looks Airtel due to revenue and consumer connection losses has scooped to such a low level that it has started cheating the consumers with false promises and extracting hard earned money by coaxing the customer.

                      I am from himachal pradesh. On the 23rd nov.2012 I gave the porting request of my number to get port it into airtel at the airtel customer care office of our district. They said that it will take 1 week to get port. But they made me 4 visits to their office till the 2 months but it was not ported & they made excuses and excuses.
                      Finally I sent a complaint about them in their regional office. A person named Mr.Vebhav contacted me for this and was saying that he will over cum it shortly and revert me back. But he has also lost from last 3 months.

                      After that I regularly sent mails to airtel to solve it. But these people are very good in making excuses. They said that the no. I gave to them is not contactable. What a fraud is this.

                      Please do something on this. What kind of customer care is this.

                          I got a call from airtel on 15/mar/2013 and they said they will activate my previous account (closed in aug/2007) for free of cost. Which i agreed. Then he asked me there was some balance in prdv account to which i replied that has been settled. They said pls send the letter and receipt to our customer care, whichwas duly sent to airtel. My account got activated on 16/mar/2013.

                          Airtel disconnected my connection on 5/apr/2013 without intimation. Which i came to know on 8/apr/2013. I tried to connect the internet by wi-fi but could not connect. Aftef a lot o[censored]n-sucessfull efforts i called up airtel customer care on 9/apr/2013 where i came to know that airtel has disconnected my services without informing me and without any of my fault.

                          I spoke with executive and explained him every thing which he understood and transferd my call to his supervisor (Rakesh) who told me that he will get the account activated by naxt day first half i.e first half of 10/apr, which i was not okay as my work was suffering, he than transfered my call to his team leader (Priyam) who told me he will try and activate the account in 2 hrs or by next day first half. Neithef of which was done.

                          I called up customer card again on 11/apr/2013 and the same story was repeated and i was again commited that account will be activated by naxt day first half.

                          Next day (12/apr/2013) i got a call from airtel that account has been activated, but when i checked in evening, it was still not active.

                          I called up airtel once again on 13/apr/2013 for this and the storh waz again the same that account is not active due to prsv balance.

                          I have spent more than 2 hrs talking to airtel customef care and spent money on that and on top of it i had suffered on my work which cannot be fulfilled. Kindly help me in getting the account activated on the earliest and relivent compensation for the harassment by airtel for no fault of mine.

                              When i connect 3g dongle with my laptop one application is install and on click of connect internet is connected.
                              when i login wen site like irctc it was showing very less speed around 0.07 kb to 0.30 kb.
                              when i call the number which was mwntion on application for help it was connecting to postpaid service.
                              I am not able to reach the dongle helpline for prepaid service.
                              when they dont have the service airtel should not launch 3g prepaid dongle simply bluffing customer is not right.

                                I have a Airtel DTH. Earlier my monthly plan was of around 125 Rs per month and hence I added the package "Hindi Plus". In Sept 2012, Airtel changed my base package to 200 Rs per month.

                                The 200 Rs per month package has all the channels which I added through Hindi plus addon package. It means that airtel is charging me twice for the same channels.

                                Please look into it and refund my money for the hindi plus addon starting from Sept 2012.

                                  Hello,
                                  This is the 3rd time that there has been a delay in shifting of landline from Airtel side. Despite repeated emails and calls at the customer care, there has been no resolution of the query (Refernce No:[protected]. The resolution time was 11th April. Last time too we have faced a similar issue. Also, the technical team behaved very improfessionally and rudely. The customer care too was not of much help. They keep mentiontioning about a revert in 2 hrs time. However that is not the reality. Also, we have faced billing issues and have had to call to resolve the corrresponding billing issues several tmes in the past. As we are working proffesional it has become very difficult to manage this considering we have taken leaves from office which seems illogical.

                                    Hi,

                                    I have given a request to close the connection on 23.01.2013 - 9:43 am with the request number 27745720. I have been contacted by Airtel customer Care for change in plan with a lower rental , i have strongly requested them to close the connection as i dont require it any more. and also to make a point the Modem and the Phone connection are taken away and got disconnected around 25.01.2013. Also we have not used the connection after that. There wont be any usage on Feb Month. It is certainly not my problem to keep the account as active and charge me even after not using the connection. I have got a call from customer care around 20th march for the Request 30067062 which is raised on 15.03.2013 3:30 pm. I have stated the same and they mention that they will waive off that since i have not used it. Please note i have been using this connection for around 4 years and have never defaulted. Why should i pay rental for which i have not even used.

                                      Today I had done 200 recharge to my mobile.As mentioned in their website https://pay.airtel.com/online-payments/prepaidResponse.do#write-review today[protected],It is full talk time offer. But I got only 175/-.They are taking more money without responding.
