    I have taken airtel DTH connection on 1-APR-2013 using online. I have given my details name and number on web site so many time, as advertisement on your web site says "get called instantly", sorry to say that no body call me on that day. At last i dial 12148 from my mobile and with the help of one executive Abid i have paid the said amount 2766/- for new Airtel DTH-HD connection. He committed me that the installation will be done within 24hrs.-48hrs time. I have requested him that please try to manage this within 24Hrs time, he has asked me that he will try at earliest but the same will be done at max 48Hrs.

    its about more than 48Hrs. time but till now nobody will call me or inform me for installation. At last once again i call 12148 and talked to the executive Prachi and she told me that by end of today this will done and she will try to arrange the call from the solution department that help for the installation, but sorry to say that nobody from there call me, but nobody call me yet.

    I dialed 12148 once more and speak to Prachi and she express apologies and then she transferred the call to solution department. I talked to Ashish Saroj and his reply is not satisfactory and will be delivered in next 72Hrs time. This is very ridicules.

    There is no proper response from Airtel even after massive followups from them. If i call 12148 they ask me to call 12150 and vice verse.

    This is very pathetic and humiliating experience that got from them.

    Airtel DTH — delaying to activate my airtel dth connection;

    delaying to activate my airtel dth connection; in my side loss 30 phone calls and my energy.
    My calls for re installation havent been attended for the last one week
    A new complaint no & time is given every time I call.




    For the last one hour your call centre executives are pretending that lines are not clear.
    So with a phoney accent they start saying HELLO HELLO and disconnect my call.
    Chandni, Ravi etc etc whatever psuedo names they call themselves...


    Incase Airtel is too busy they should let me know the same... and incase service cannot be provided why not refund the money that you are sitting on??

    Hope your South African customers will be more understanding than we are in India.

    Bharti Airtel — Delayed installation

    Hi,
    I already have a airtel landline connection with broadband for last 3 years. last year i got wi-fi installed on the number. I got a customer service rep coming to install an intercom on my airtel number, & recommended that I change my plan to a more feasible plan, which will give me XYZ benefits. i agreed-he took money, gave no reciept & has disappeared with the money--is not responding, He has forwarded my requisition to the concerned departmwent of airtel-but no follow-ups. I have just landed up losing 2K.
    It should be called Farttale-rather than airtel !!

    Airtel DTH — Delay in installation and no activation

    Given an excellent broadband and postpaid connection services I went for Airtel DTH on 1st July'10. I bought the connection over phone and paid via credit card. I was assured that the installation and activation would be completed within 48 hours. Today its 7th July and via repeated follow ups with customer care, I was successful in getting it installed.

    Now starts the second big hurdle to watching TV. Services are not activated. I have already called customer care 8 times and everytime I call, I get a response that wait for 1 hour and the services will be activated soon. 3 times they told me that you would need to have a voucher pin from marketing and sales department or installation department. They are just making fun of people who go for their services without knowing the actual face of their services. I had NEVER imagined in my life that I would have to follow up to this extent for getting a cable connection. This is the WORST customer service that I have seen in my life for any services.. be it bank/phone/electricity.

    It wont be possible for me to go ahead with this kind of services and hence I want my money back and connection cancelled. My customer id is [protected]. My contact mail id is [protected]@yahoo.com.

    Airtel — Very long delay in service

    I have been requesting Airtel People to change my broadband plan but they are continuously delaying the service, moreover their customer care representatives are not bothered they just say that our server is down kindly wait for some time. I have alot of work to do via Internet So please I request to the Authorities to do the needful in the same regard.

    Bharti Airtel DTH — Delay in installation

    I had purchased the airtel HD DTH on Monday, 8 Nov, 2011. I paid used credit card on phone call from the Airtel assistant. I was promised that the DTH would be installed in 48 to 72 hours.
    But till date, it has not been installed.
    I made 4 calls yesterday. And always the reply is that I would get a call back.

    Now I would like to cancel the airtel DTH and get the refund. Please help
    i have sent my details to the email address

    I had purchased Airtel DTH through IVR on 20 december yet delevered installed. I made so many complaint through call center & mail only received Appology only.

      Respected Sir/Madam,
      I own a Airtel no.[protected]. Recently I got it converted from postpaid to prepaid from their customer care center at Mayur Vihar -1. I was charged Rs. 410 + Rs 143 where they said 410 was my due amount for postpaid number and 143 was conversion charge. I don’t want to say anything about Rs. 410 whether it was more than what should have been charged but Rs. 143 which included Rs. 100 as for recharge as a compulsion why should that be compulsion. Customer care center had given my a new sim which I lost so I had to go to that center again for a new sim for which they again charged me Rs. 125 as 25 for sim and Rs. 100 as compulsory recharge again. Now when my number got activated I had Rs. 0 as balance.
      What sort of working is that for every service there is a compulsory recharge of Rs 100 for which you are charged but do not receive that recharge as if that is a bribe to receive the service. When I called this customer center in Mayur Vihar-1 on [protected] there was no response. Then I called 198 from my mobile so that I can lodge a complaint at around 1 pm on 4/04/2013 but this number which under instructions of TRAI should be complaint lodging number but with Airtel it is a information giving number for different schemes offered from Airtel. But still I tried to lodge a complaint but the executive said hold on and then holding on for some five minutes call was disconnected.
      People such as Airtel know that customer has no where to go they can use him as they like. They have started to work as employees under government service use to work, they charge bribe for every service. This is not the first complaint against Airtel months back my wife was charged Rs 1800 for Gprs charges without using it. I am not the only person who would be getting such sort of service from Airtel but I might be one of few who care to raise their concern to this level nobody cares to write because there is hardly any hope for any action and nobody cares for Rs. 200 or even more.
      I am not much concerned about my 200 Rs but I am concerned about how many of people like me would have met the same fate and would have not cared about Rs. 200 or how many would have been charged Rs. 2000 or more in one day for using gprs services when these days you can use unlimited internet with Rs. 95- Rs. 99 in prepaid. Please let me know where to ask these questions through RTI from Airtel.

I have sim airt tel sim with the no of [protected] in sikar rajasthan . sir I m facinf some problem here from last 1 month I have to charged without any surfing on web. Sir here I want to tell u that when I call to call center then what s reply .
      1) 3/04/09 thay charged me Rs. 10 then I call call center Mr monoj was there I told him that y my balance reduse then he reply me that u have subscribe starduct service on ur cell but when I say him that I never use this service he go for argue but after all he return me my money .
      2) 4/04/09 thay charged me Rs. 15 then I call call center Mr jitu was there I told him that y my balance reduse then he reply me that u have down load a video or audio songs on ur cell but when I say him that I never use this he also go for argue but after all he return me my money .
      3) 5/04/09 thay charged me Rs. 20 then I call call center Mr amit was there I told him that y my balance reduse then he reply me that u have down load a java games on ur cell but when I say him that I never use this he also go for argue but after all he return me my money .
      after this case I call to miss simren she transfer me to boss ( Mr Deepak ) he assure ma that now u will not face these problem .
      after that i charged rs 99 04/04/09 then I call call center Mr manoj was there I told him that y my balance reduse then he reply me that u have down load a jave games on ur cell but when I say him that I don’t load then he assure me that in 2 hour they will give me back my money
      after two hour I call again I call again call center that Mr rahul was ther I put in his mind all matter then he assure me that I will get my all amount but when I don’t get then I call again that mr gigraj was there after a long argue he told me that me should go in court n u r free to do anything whatever I can he give me address of office ( C BLOCK MALVIYA NAGAR JAIPUR ) n told me that ur free.
      Sir its not the matter of my Rs 99 but the companies reputation . Due to these fellows customer is surfing n after some time company will suffer n it will go down fall
      It is requested to u please take action against them n return my Rs 99 so I can b proud to b air tel consumer.

      Airtel — Charging without consumer concern

      Today early morning at 02:30 AM, I got an SMS from Airtel stating you have been charged me Rs 30 in lieu of Hello Tune and the Hello Tune has been activated. I had never requested for it and at all not aware of it. I called back to Airtel Customer Care to report it as complaint. At first call, I was able to talk to a customer care executive named Amit. While I was explaining my problem to him, the call got disconnected. When I called back again the option to talk to customer care executive was not available to me anymore.

      I don't know what kind of fraud is this going on. Now the only option for me to get the go to customer care office, leaving my own work. The fare to and fro to customer care center will be 20 and pain additional to save just RS 30.

      So I need to raise this complain, how can all these things can happen to me

        My Set Top Box has become hanged and there is no screens for any channel. A number of complaints made but to no avail. This Airtel DTH service is very bad. I do not recommend anybody to go for it. Each time, I make a complaints, an sms is sent to me saying "pleas share this happy code" with service engineer. No service engineer is seen as yet.

          I have airtel DTH connection since 2009. On 31.03.13 I filed a complaint for inability to view video from airtel DTH however sound is audible. It was giving no signal for the picture. I was told that within 24 hrs a technician shall visit to resolve the issue. The technician calls and says that he can come only at 1030 am which is not possible for me as i come back from pffice at 1730hrs. However, the Customer care tells that the technician is available till 1930 hrs. So no one has responded for my complaint yet. Still everyday when I call regarding my issue I am always being told that within next 24 hrs the issue will be resolved. The 24 hours are not over even in 5 days. Guess the airtel clocks ticks in a different time zone.

          Finally I have decided to go for a disconnection and opt for another DTH service provider.

          AirTel — poor response from customer care

          when ever i call them for complain they just deactivate my customar care

          I am wexed with the services of AIR TEL. they are not in a
          position to delivery my monthly bill to my address. every
          time they come up with some stupied stories, and it wont
          happen again. My mobile no is [protected]

          Dish TV — Injustice and harrasment

          BEWARE! BEWARE! The proverb in hindi "Dushman se door Rahao"

          I also have the story of what others are narrating.

          First it was decided by the Society to go for dish TV installation. but later on cable guys offered good discount by offering free set top box by hathway cable. but I stuck to my guns for choosing Dish TV. Thanks to our great Superstar's (Mr.Shah Rukh Khan) agressive promotion and false gimmicks of their brand and quoting the Phrase 'Kya Aap Cable se santhust hai' I fell into their prey.

          From the day one of booking with their authorised representative Veera Marketing, Mumbai- Contact person Mr. Sachin Patil ( tel ; [protected] &[protected] and paid our cheque dt[protected] for Rs. 7030 for two dish connections for our home being not aware of what is in store!!

          The payment was made on the basis of following commitments made by their authorised representative Mr.Sachin patil of Veera Marketing

          1. Both the connections will have Dish Maxi package for one year from date of activation and all channels as per the brochure handed over to us will be provided. that the said package includes Business & News channels CNBC, CNN IBN, AWAAZ etc.

          2. In this subscription I can view 67 hindi movies and 5 english movies.

          Although Mr. Sachin promised to install it in first week of August, no progress was made and he was not responding to our calls. We had to run from pillar to post for 5 weeks. when we called their executive Mr. Vivek Mishra given in their web site ( Ph [protected]), he directed us to Mr. Sekar (Ph [protected]) who after several days being not effective, gave his superior’s no Mr. Eric Samuel ( Ph. [protected]) After continuous foolow up with their executive finally it got installed on 31st Aug 2008. Again for activation we had to run from pillar to post for another 5 days calling up their call centre(minimum we have to 20- 30 minutes telphone charges will have to bear by us) and executives. finally it got activated on 7th sept.2008 (although they say 4 - 24 hours). I thought my agony will end there, however it is only start of our never ending problem.

          After 3 weeks of my subscription, on Oct 1st I am seeing my CNBC package was removed. So I called the call centre to restore the same. They did. but I was not aware they are going to charge for this package.

          After that for a month I was taking Movie on demand (7 movies).Since, Call centre Customer Care executive said you can view free on parent connection and child connection is not eligible.Whenever I book the movie I take confirmation from them it is free to view and they also say YES.

          Suddenly on November 12th when I was viewing my Account on Main Menu bar it was drop down to 15th June 2009 from my original renewal date of 7th sept 2009. nearly 3 months subscription. This gave me big shock. I Contacted the call centre(Holding the line for 40 minutes for lodging the complaint). I was told that money is deducted for movies.I asked why it has to be deducted since the movie is free. then customer care said this movies are viewed on your child connection. I told them your allegations are totally baseless. when I am getting free movies on my parent connection why should I book it on child connection. They were repeating the same thing(Parrot talking)and when they can't answer they put message Thank you next representative will answer shortly.Since the call centre was callous in not responding to my pleas, I contacted Mr. Eric Samuel(Regional Manager, Mumbai who has helped me in installation and activation) and as advised by him sent the e mail dt 13 Nov. 2008 which is given below


          I am disappointed and anguished at the arbitrary and intensive callousness of your billing section.

          I have given below the details for your immediate redressal of our grievances.

          (1). our VC nos : a) [protected] ( STB no 0876ABF28DS31623)
          b) [protected] ( STB NO 0876ABF28DS31622)

          (2.) I was informed that item b above is the parent and a as child & hence b is eligible for free movies confirmed by your call centre at the time of our first time booking of MOD

          (3.) My original validity period is 7 September 2009.
          Now today I find that this validity period is reduced to 15 June 2009 as shown in account.

          (4.) I have seen sofar 7 Hindi movies and all times it was confirmed free by your call centre at the booking time.

          (5.) I was shocked by this utter nonsense in my account being arbitrarily reduced to June 2009 by your callous colleagues at Noida. My continous calls to your call centre evoked poor & insensitive response which makes me feel that it is more appropriate to call it 'Callous centre'.

          (6.)I hereby request you to immediately restore my balance to original date i.e. 7 September 2009 and confirm once for all which STB is eligible for free movies ( 67 Hindi + 5 English ) as confirmed to us at the time of booking by your representative.

          I look forward to your promise of ensuring restoration of my account to original validity date.

          After this plea also no restoration was done. Again another problem came over with my child VC. They have removed some of the channels which includes Star Cricket, Star Sports, ESPN, TCM, MGM etc. some 12 channels have been arbitrarily removed from my connection. So again I called up Mr. Samvel for this. He directed one of his staff member to talk with me. Then she spoke to me regarding this issue. She said child connection is a discounted package. All the channels what you are getting will not have this connection. Then I asked her what for you are taking RS.3015. I applied my logic and told her if I pay Rs.600 more to cable guys I will get all channels which includes Colors, Neo Sports, Neo cricket and some other regional channels including which I opted for.Then she was not ready to listen and kept the phone down. Then suddenly In the same evening again she called and said from my head quarters I have received your account statement for the deduction and I am forwarding this to you. go through it. After seeing the statement I came to know they have deducted for CNBC Package for both connection at different amount and for 1 movie. Again I had sent the email to Mr. Eric Samuel and copy to accounts dept.

          Now comes another great guy from accounts who is merrily deducting arbitrarily customer's money at the drop of a hat on atrocious reasons.

          (1). Please note that he has deducted Rs. 247 on 1 OCT 2008 & again RS 280 on 7 November 2008 for CNBC package. Also Rs 50 for movie on supposed to be "Child ".

          (2). Please recall my talk. I had explained to you that when I contracted with you on 7 september 2008, for maxi package, it included the CNBC package as per your brochure given to us.. On October 1, 2008 you arbitrarily removed these channels from my connections. When I complained to your call centre, you restored same . I was neither told nor I realised that you are going to deduct. As explained to you, this tantamounts to cheating and fraud on customer i.e. hoodwinking customer by promising to give certain channels and after taking money for 1 year, removing the channels and asking for more money. In that case I should have the option to quit with my money paid.

          (3). Let your great Accounts manager explain the mystery behind not deducting for both on 1 October 2008 and also why two different amounts 247 & 280, Callousness and arbitrariness at whimsical best. He deserves an award for that.

          (4). Also I have not activated by sending any SMS as claimed by you. This is again misrepresentation and forgery by your company. I am sure this will be exposed in a court of law.

          (5). Again your claim that the one movie was hired on socalled " Child " i.e.[protected] is totally wrong and I once again emphatically confirm that we have taken all movies only on [protected]. I am sure this also can be proven in a court.

          (6). Under the circumstances, I hereby call upon you to restore my validity period upto 7 September 2009 immediately with all channels as per our original contract, failing which I will take appropriate action including legal, which you may take a serious note.

          I intend to forward this letter to your chairman's office on registered post to take a response.

          After so many things have happend I had send the letter to the chairman for his personal intervention in this matter to retrieve their image and credibility as a corporate with some standards.

          After 3 days I got a call from Noida Mr.Girish (Ph.[protected]) spoke to me. He said we are really sorry for what happened. My executive will visit your place immediately and resolve your problem.Now 48 hours gone nobody came to my home. Not even called up. It is very pathetic.

          Only thing today morning I noticed they restored my account to original renewal date to 7th sept. Otherthings are remaining the same.

          Just Cautioning the new subscriber before you take the connection think twice. If it is more than 1 connection becareful. My sincere advice not to venture for any dth till they bring transparency to the customer. We should know clearly what channels they are offering in the given package and take it in writing everything for both the connections and the authorised signature and seal of the company. so anything is done incorrectly we can take legal action. I have cut and burnt my finger. But I want others to learn from my mistakes.

          AirTel — Lack in Response

          I wanted to migrate my package to 699-Super Saver...
          The Customer care executive asked me to send a mail regarding this to their Address...

          I did sent a mail to the correct maill adress and even i got the reply which was autogenerated it said that i would get a response in 24 hrs.
          I sent the mail on 30th March 2009 at 1:53PM
          i got the auto generated mail of their at 2.00PM the same day...commiting me that they would revert back to me in next 24Hrs.
          ie. 31 March 2009 at 2.00PM

          I haven't got any call from them nor any mail regarding this till date...ie. 2nd April 2009 time 11.00AM

          When i talked to the executive the person first says that they haven't received the mail but after checking they say they have got it...They are totally confused and are not responding properly...

          Dish TV — wrong accounting

          my vc no is [protected]. i recharged my accnt by paying Rs500/- on 21-3-09 for silver pack @ 109/- PM with free alacarte( 20% of recharge value ), which was confirmed by customercare .my dishtv was partially deactivated on25-5-09, which means i am charged @ 250/- PM. i have given 4 e mails out of these 3 emails have been reflected as failure domain, thro dish tv also i am not able to log in as the page has been taken off. this clearly indicates that since they are controlling the channels they are free to play with the customers as they feellike. i request to please send me your email so that i can fwd those emails

          Airtel DTH Service — Poor quality of signal and no proper response from customer care

          I am trying to call up the customer care no [protected] today i,e 22nd Oct 2009 at 4:45pm. I spoke to one Mr. Vishwajeet and gave my customer id no [protected]. My complaint was the signal is very poor and ther is break in the signal every now and then. To my shock i was informed that my account is cancelled and he cannot lodge complaint with respect to my customer id. I requested him to let me know the refund process since my id was cancelled he is asking me to contact the dealer from whom I purchased the same. But I do not have contact details of the same since i have not stored it.

          Airtel DTH — No Signal - Poor response from Customer care

          I am Rajan, customer of Airtel DTH who is trying to activate the DTH service which got interrupted on 12th Jan afternoon for no fault of mine..

          My wife called the customer care on 12th evening to report a problem of disconnection. It was promised to me that the issue will be rectified in 24 hours. It was explained that the service was disconnected on our request. Apparently we have not given any request for disconnection...
          Since the problem was not rectified, my wife called the customer care and spoke to the supervisor by the name Thirtha. It was promised again that the problem will be rectified in 24 hours. On 13th Jan 10 night I called the customer care and spoke to another Naveen (Floor Supervisor). Same promise again "will be rectifed in 24 hours"..
          I called customer care again on 15th Jan to report the issue. Surprised to see the agent who answered the call was very rude and impolite (around 4.55pm). When the call was transfered to the supervisor, the call was disconnected with the phrase "since there is no response from other end, I am forced to disconnect the call". However I was very much active and shouting from other end.....
          I have not expected the Airtel service to be so bad as it is in the past 3 days for me.

          This is to bring to your notice the worst ever customer service that I ve experienced with Airtel DTH. I needed some extra cable wire to relocate my TV unit to a separate room within the same premises. So i called the local dealer on 21st may 2010 but i ve not been given any reference no. nor any fixed time period for service delivery.
          But till 24th may 2010 i ve received no response from the dealer and then I called customer care on the given toll free no, to my surprise they expressed their helplessness to register my request as i BELONG TO A SUBPRIME LOCATION and insisted that i should contact local dealer. Upon my insistence I ve been given one request no. and was ensured that my problem shall be resolved by 26th May 2010, I also received an sms confirming the same.
          its 28th may 2010 but my request not yet resolved. with this concern i called the customer care only to find that they can't help it.
          let me remind you while we buy Airtel DTH we strongly beleive that we are making a good deal for assured service. we have not paid you anything less than what you have asked for, and such type of selective treatment of customers despite charging the same amount, accounts for gross injustice and customer harrassment.

          Airtel DTH Service — Lack of Response from Airtel

          It is very frustrating that after calling for almost 14 times the Airtel Service Provider, to fix a video problem, & still they dont have enough diesel to burn & come to fix it. They were supposed to come on 13th of June' 2010, instead they sent a message on 12th saying that the problem has been resolved. well how funny & irresponsible it is. Forget 13th, we called them so many times after that, everytime they say they are checking & sending their person at our home. The same story repeats again & again.. Today it is 22nd June, we cant tell what f__k they are doing about a simple issue.. This is how u get the services of so well-known brand AIRTEL. During adds they promise this they promise that, but the most important thing about any product is its service after they sold sumthing from the company. Its really a shame for a company like Airtel to do such thing.
          I am telling this last & seriously for the last time that if they dont solve this problem asap we will personally have to deal it so that no other consumer can get badly affected like this..

          ON 16th July 17, 2010 around (1:51 PM) had a word with 1st customer executive the one who never gave her name. All I had ask her that iam getting a signal problem and its showing me the error code B 001. I hope she had registered the complaint against that. Then she tolled me one of your technician will come and he will charge Rs 100 for a visit when asked for the explanation for the charges and the reason she had to put my call on hold and then she hung up my 1st customer service experience on 16th July 17, 2010.
          Next call which I made was around (2:08 PM) the time I got connected & said hello this girl hung up again. My second customer experience of the day.
          Then my next call was around (2:10 PM) .this time I got connected with the executive name “kushbo” I informed about the problem and before I could say something she put me on hold. And then she hung up. My third customer experience of the same day.
          Then my last call which was made around (2:19 PM) . This time it was more interesting this girl name “Madhumita” straight away started a conversation in Bengali were I had to request her to talk in English. Rather explaining her my problem I asked her to transfer my call to some Sr person and they transfer my call to guy name “Himanshu”. I toled him about the problem and given him a solution to resolve it. which is to disconnect my connection of Airtel dish Tv . As from day one iam getting problem. And he was ok about it 2 so that’s fine with me. I hope that was my last experience with customer service. I informed him that my call was getting disconnect by your executive and his answer to it was. it’s a network problem from my end . were I already had explained that I was put on hold every time. So in one day I was declared liar got insulted by 3 or 4 customer executives. No one was able to resolve the problem. I can pay Rs 5000 and get a new connection from some different service. But will not pay Rs100 for Airtel technician to come to my place and resolve the issue which is from Airtel. And if in future I get a problem I don’t want to get humiliate again. But yes I will take this further to consumer court as this was not the 1st time I have faced this kind of behavior with Airtel. And please stop calling your customer service as a customer service. Because they don’t do what they say. I want to disconnect this service because of your customer service.

          I had raised an issue with Airtel customer service on some channels not working as part of my Ultra pack connection. The issue was raised on 29th June and except for repeated phone calls from different individuals asking for the nature of the problem, no solution is in sight.
          After a lot of emails and follow ups an engineer visited my site, promised to come back and rectify. Now its a week since that happened.

          I'm at loss in terms of what to do to get these folks to solve my problem so that i get my value for money. This is the worst customer service i have faced from any entity i have dealt with. Please help in any way possible to sort this issue out.

I am regularly paying the subscription for airtel digital tv but right from day one some channels like colors, cnbc awaz, and others could not be seen clearly due to weak signal. Airtel engineer came atleast 3 to 4 times and ultimately concluded that the quality of cable used by your team while installing the dth is to blame for the poor signal. He also promised to send somebody to replace the cable and I am waiting for it for last 20 days.

          I had very high opinion of your company and I am sure you would also be disturbed by the way the quality of customer service is going down. I hope you take a note of it and instruct the officers to look into the matter.Needless to say that I have several time filed complaints to the customer care executives and got the complaint numbers.

          1. The customer service had promised to send an engineer to fix the signal issue, however no one has come neither anyone contacted us. I have phone the customer service 50 times. Everytime i called, i was promised (misleaded) that the issue will be fixed in 3hours. Its been 20days that 3hour never got over for airtel. Moreover, I have received a text message from Airtel DTH saying " your issue has been resolved".

          2. 99 out of 100 times the customer service representative says that they are facing technical issues and advise the customer to call after 2hours.

          i don't wht the TAT they are following. There is no proper coordination between distributer and customercare.

          distributer is telling customer care persons are not aware of the product infomation.

          Airtel DTH — Poor Customer Service

          Very frequently I'm having the problem of not being able to view ADHITYA TV. Though this is part of the Free Tamil Top-up (see attached file for reference), AIRTEL removes this from the free top-up list every month and they add it again (after sending numerous emails) every month. There is a break in this ADITHYA TV service every month.
          AIRTEL says that this is a technical issue.

          I just want to share my experience with Airtel DTH. I have recharged my Airtel DTH account [protected] in June 2010 for Rs.500. My account is credited with Rs.500 after recharging
          from the recharge coupon. After 24 hours my account was suspended. When I called customer care, they didn’t have any clue why they have suspended my account. After number of follow up, they replied that some other customer claimed that amount and my account is debited without informing me. when I asked to get my money back, customer care executives disconnected by call several times?????. Now Mr. Naveen and Mr. Rakesh from Airtel DTH needs a proof of that the recharge coupon that I used to recharge my Airtel DTH account almost a year back.

          Is this a Joke????

          My Friends if you are using this service and recharging with recharge coupon then keep it and do not throw, else you will be the next in this list.

          I made a request in customer care of airtel dish tv on 8/6/2011 which has been resolved on 30/6/2011 in this duration they had deducted amount which they have told me to renew acount because the query was regarding STB issue and they want to deduct STB amount from acount so i have renewed my acount and they were deducted all the new STB charges of 350/- from my acount after that because of airtel system problem they have took 30/6/2011 date to resolve my issue and its not my fault its company fault so i m asking about service credit so they r not giving me the service credit and not giving me responce properly when i was calling on customer care they r releasing or disconnecting my call without any intimation the service of Airtel DTH is pathetic and poor.

          AirTel — Poor Service & lack of response

          I am a dedicated customer of Airtel since last 9 years, availing both landline and mobile service. I have got Plan-899 connection for my Blackberry in Oct'11 for my mobile [protected], enterprise email service is blocked since last 1 month without citing any reason. Whenever i call them, their service team had no clue to solve the problem and the seriousness to respond quickly. I am fed-up with Airtel and their servies, gives me feeling that this company may shut-down anytime. Most disgusting thing is they blamed my handset for poor service and later i confirmed that connection doesn;t work even after changing SIM to other handsets.
          Last week i was in Chenni, there 'EDGE connection was there, but again lost when i came back to Bangalore.

          Similiar thing happend with Landline, where broadband service is not working since last 3 months. They are unwilling to solve the problem and chasing for payment. i have requested for cancellation, they are dumb to my request and chasing for payment.

          i have never experienced such dirty service from Airtel in the past and most frustrating thing is that they don;t bother to respond to customer complaints. i have decided to switchover to VODAFONE for Mobile phone and BSNL for landline as there is no sign of recovery from Airtel.

          AirTel — CUSTOMER CARE RESPONSE POOR

          Dear Sir....

          i am using Airtel number for last 7 year My mobile number is [protected]... 9 months before i have changed to post paid connection... after i changed to post paid connection still i did not recevied not even single bill to my communication address../

          I have complainted many time for this 9 months priod more than 25 time... but there is no proper response from airtel side...

          there are continusly calling me for the bill payment... if i am asking for bills.. they said we are taking the complaint and working on the same you will get the bills with in 10 days... but still i did.nt recevied any thing...

          now a days they are not calling because of their commiment i have paid the bill payment nearly 4000 rupees...

          After the bill payment i call them for the request status they are not responding properly...and i asked them to connect the call to their supervisor...they simply putting the call on hold and after 5 mint disconnecting the call..this is happen for me more tham 6 times.... today (16.6.2012) also i have tried three times they are doing same transferring the call and disconnecting ...

            Since many days i am Receiving Fake Call From Airtel Office Hyderabad, stating that i need to pay postpaid bill for some other alternate number. But i don't have any other postpaid connection & also my number is of Corporate connection which i got this from my company Huawei Telecommunications (I) PVT. Ltd, i'm using since Month of Feb-2012. Many times i told to the person whoever is calling that i am not responsible, but they are keep on... calling & Harassing me to pay bill. i don't know how come Airtel people are doing again & again.Today morning also i got a call from number [protected] named shirisha stating that she is an Airtel Executive calling from Hyderabad Airtel Office & asking me to pay bill of some other person named Lalitha Padmavathi. i don't Lalitha Padmavathi no relation with her,but again & again getting calls from airtel, also they are not giving the number of her.               I've purchased Airtel DTH HD DVR package on 31st March, 2013. I got installation done after 3 days, That is 4th April, 2013. My package is still not activated after 24 hours of installation. Customer care response has annoyed me a lot.

              Either activate the package with immediate effect or refund me my money.

                My Customer No [protected] . Have raised my first request to re-install my Airtel

                Digital TV at my new locaion last Friday and the requet no is 29456353. No one called

                me or attended to this. Then again I called them and raised another request after

                expalining and complaining to them that my first request is not attneded to and they

                raised another request and the request no is 29501760. Against this request too no one

                called me or came to install my equipment.I callled them again and spoke to their

                escalation manager and they promised that it will be attended to immediately but until

                now no one bothered to call me to resolve my issue. To my surprise I just received an

                SMS stating that my second request is resolved. But until now is not resoved and there

                is another request under 29536978 is raised yesterday.

                airtel/Digital tv — Not resolving the request

                I have requested Airtel Digital TV customer care to solve one of the issue in my set top box which occured due to last service done by them only.
                They told me that by 12:30 PM one person will come and resolve the issue.

                He didn't come whole day, just now i have recieved a message that your reuquest has been resolved successfully.

                I don't even understand which type of fraud people they are.

                Last time after calling them 5 days continuolsy finally one guy came and solved the issue.
                I dont know why they are showing too much of attitude :(

                  My mobile number is [protected]. Somebody has registered my number by the name of Arun Kumar Aggarwal for an Airtel Broadband Connection. Now that person has not paid the bill, and the Airtel team keeps on calling me. Everytime Airtel team Calls, I tell them that I am not Arun Kumar Aggarwal and please stop calling me, but they still call me daily.

                  They have called me 50 times and everytime I deny they still call me again. Yesterday, they called me and I was so irritated that I told them that yes I am Arun Kumar and go to the registered address and collect the money.

                  Today[protected] they again called and when I told their customer care executive that I am not Arun Kumar Aggarwal, he told me to tell him my name, otherwise they will keep on calling me. I told him that I dont want to disclose my name for privacy purposes. He abused me and disconnected the call.

                  The number from which I received call is[protected] and it was received at 3:34pm. The name of the executive was Vikram.

                  Kindly a strict action be taken against that person.

                  Airtel Broadband Services — Escalated bills for internet services, not ready to register the change in rate plans

                  In the month of Oct 2010 registered with Airtel to change the plan of internet to Rs.499/- from Rs.1299/- which was not done. Checked in Jan 2010 and noticed that was paying the same rate. Again registered through customer care to change plan to Rs.499/- to Rs.1299/- was not done. Instead in March they disconnected. Again they reconnected saying waiver for 3 months will be adjusted in the next month. Again they disconnected in April 2011. Till date I have received several calls and mails saying waiver has been given and not given. Each time it has been changed in matter of minutes. All the complaint numbers, mails and verbal recordings are with me.
                  I am not sure anymore what to belive and Airtel has no credibility and each department has adifferent say.

                    Airtel company had activated Internet on my mob. No. ([protected]) without my permission. I talked customer care, they told me , “bcz u bought a new mobile set so company has gifted internet for 1GB for 1 month , I asked them after 1 month & after 1 GB wat will be the procedure to deactivate internet . then they said after given usage & given time company will automatically deactivate your internet service. Now they are saying that ur usage is more than the gifted & u hav to Pay.but they should have deactivate the service after the gifted data .i did not send any request to activate the internet service. they are continousely harassing me.

                        One and half year back I had a prepaid (Airtel) connection then I changed it into Postpaid for corporate connection and after resigned from my old company I want to change it into prepaid.

                          I have been using airtel past 4 years and paid few lakhs as my bills too. Being a loyal platinum customer, I wouldn't expect the company to play cheap tricks on me. As we all know that airtel provides a cash back of 5% on postpaid bills paid through airtel money. I got my cash back initially for a month or two. Airtel also mentioned that they give a cash back of 20% on bookmyshow.com bookings paid through airtel money. I never got the cash back after my first few transactions. Neither for the postpaid bills I paid nor for the bookmyshow.com bookings.
                          I also spoke with the customer care representative, one guy says that the offer doesn't exist, another guy says u r not eligible for that offer and the other says I will get the cash back after 7 days - The same company representatives, speak with different tongues. But i made the transaction with book my show on 3rd Feb 2013, It's been 2 months and not 7 days. I hope you either educate the call center representatives or be more transparent with your offers.
                          Whatever it is, the headache is on to you. But fix my problem soon. I wish to shift my network than arguing with your uneducated customer care representatives.

                            Hi,
                            I have airtel Mob postpaid connection([protected]) but later on not satisfied because of network problem and did't get speed in GPRS internet. I processed for MNP to BSNL. But Airtel ARC and customer care don't get me out from Airtel. They called me numbers of time for additional discount offers and etc.. But not process my MNP request.. They took almost 20days. Because of lack of MNP procedure my UPC code expired. As i generated new UPC code, they automatically generate new problems like CUG activated and etc... So, please get me out from this problem as soon as possible. Thank you.

                            I given a request for MNP for porting out from Airtel to Vodafone on 8 Dec 2011 but till date it has not been done, after follow up they are not giving any proper feedback or any solution, what to do any suggestions for this issue

                                It is quite unfortunate that service provider like Airtel is lagging in customer satisfaction and exploiting their helplessness to its advantage.

                                I got my Airtel DTH connection on 24.11.2012. I wanted the dish antenna to be installed on the front wall of my ground floor house as other’s had done, but the service engineer insisted on installing at the roof top stating that signal would be better. I didn’t object as they are professionals and know better than me. However, the cemented wall / bar on which they wanted to install the antenna was very thin and, therefore, not suitable for installation as 2 of the 3 nuts would have to be screwed on the edge of the wall, thus weakening its strength. When I objected, they assured me that it will remain intact and even if anything goes wrong they will reinstall. I had nothing to object then. However, while they were installing the cracks developed on the wall, as feared. Still, they insisted that nothing will happen and that they are there to set right the things. I accepted.

                                On 28.03.2013, there was a squall and the antenna got uprooted from the same two places where cracks had developed and was hanging on one nut/screw only. The signal was lost with error code - B001. Despite repeated efforts, I could not get their customer helpline numbers the same day as they were busy. On 29.03.2013, I spoke to the executive, Mr. Hassan who told me that Rs.250/- will be charged for reinstallation. When I narrated the whole installation story he transferred my call to his senior, Mohd. Tarif. Mr. Tarif lodged my complaint under ref. no.29428908 and said that I would get a call from their office within 4 hours. When I did not receive their call even for 10 hours, I called them up once again. This time Mr. Akhilesh was on the line. Again, I narrated the whole story including the installation part. I was told that I should have brought the matter into their notice then itself when the installation was taking place as those were the outsourced agency staff. I questioned as to how do I know that they were outsourced agency staff when they were wearing shirts inscribed “Airtel”. Mr. Akhilesh then told me that he would register my complaint and get the antenna installed at the same place as relocation would cost me Rs.250/-. I insisted installing at the same place won’t be tenable and I will have to call you again & again. Also, charging Rs.250/- is unethical on the part of the Airtel keeping in view the facts I have stated. However, finally I agreed to get the same installed at the same place. My complaint was registered under ref. no.29445435.

                                Next day i.e. 30.03.2013, I got a call from telephone no.43046026 that the man will come to attend to our complaint between 12.30 to 1.00 p.m. When no one turned up even up to 3.00 p.m. I called back on the number. A lady picked up the phone and told me that I had refused to get the antenna installed as I was not willing to pay Rs.250/-. I said, where is the question of paying Rs.250/- when antenna has to be installed at the same place and that it has not to be relocated. To my surprise, she mentioned installation at that place is not possible and that you will have to pay Rs.250/- for relocating the same. Without visiting the spot by any of their staff she mentioned that installation was not possible at the same place. It clearly implies that either they would have recollected the installation story on seeing my address as this is not a very old case or wanted to exploit the situation. I called back at the customer care without any positive results.

                                It is not a question of Rs.250/- as this is a very small sum. I am not willing to pay meager Rs.250/- because their demand is unjust as, instead of finding fault in me/customer, they should have deputed their own engineer to supervise the work done by outsourced agency staff. A customer is not a technical hand and, therefore, it becomes the duty of the service provider to ensure that the work done on its behalf is perfect. I had paid the amount to Airtel and, therefore, can hold Airtel only responsible. Outsourced agency staff fooled me. They never mentioned that Rs.250/- would be charged for relocating the antenna nor airtel staff mentioned to me. Had I been informed earlier, I would not have allowed them to install the antenna at that place.

                                To sum up, I can only say that Airtel is exploiting the situation knowing well that the subscriber has already paid for the set top box and monthly subscription and, therefore, won’t change to any other service provider. This is unethical business practices and won’t last for long. Persons like me won’t succumb to such extortion tactics and rather prefer switch to other service provider by shelling out another Rs.1500-Rs.1600. Mr. Sunil Bharti Mittal must not forget that it takes years together to reach to the top and seconds only to touch the nadir.

                                  Have same problem .. get Rs 401 plan (399) e-recharged on 29th march 2013 with message successful time 2:47pm Transaction ID[protected] with 30 days validity..
                                  Still nothing is there as today is 3rd April.. I called them on there paid no. and it cost me around Rs. 200, as executives and supervisors are typical non-sense people know nothing.. only taking time to resolve ny problem in 24 hours.. then in 7 hours, then in 30 minutes..
                                  I totally spend Rs. 600 for a bbm plan activation..
                                  I got call from 1 supervisor from no. [protected] and told me will resolve my problem till 7 O' clock in the evening and will call again..
                                  No call and no plan activation

                                  Very Poor and ridiculous services airtel blackberry is providing.. Treating us like dogs after taking money from us..

                                    I had opted for A la carte plan on 28 March 2013 and after 2 days of service some of the channels were removed without my concession and a new channel had been added.                                     Airtel — Airtel fails to provide offered plan

                                    Since Jan 08 I purchased a airtel bundle plan with LG phone offering Rs 2400/- airtel to airtel free talk time for 24 month & no terms & condition were told.

                                    Every month they have to credit A to A amount in my phone but always fails to do so. On contacting to customer care they will give some untold reasons which was not informed while purchasing. This month also the amount is not credited to my mobile no. [protected].

                                    AIRTEL DIGITAL TV — Fraudulent change of plans

                                    Let me start by saying that Airtel is the NO.1 FRAUD in doing business, either mobile,internet or DTH. I took a connection with Airtel and had recharged for a whole year for all 3 regional top ups that i have selected. In the middle of the year, i had a problem with my set top box. The Airtel representative come to my house and changed the STB and also charged me Rs. 100 for it. After that, he only activated 2 regional topups instead of 3 that i had already paid for earlier. Multiple calls to call centers have not yielded any result. The call center guys are very rude and half of them dont understand a thing of what we say. When i shouted at one of them, he activated the one regional topup and charged me for it again even without me organizing. I am writing this now as I am currently on a call with call center person for about 15 mins with no response. I hope i dont get disconnected.

                                    I received a message telling to continue the service recharge with 225 so I recharged my number with 225 for 2 airtel numbers for which i did not have the same service. I called to customer care, but i did not get proper response from them I called for more than 5 times and i'd not get any repectable answer I am not at all satisfied untill this minute. Can you give me the solution for the same.
                                    My customer ID is [protected]. I booked an Airtel Digital TV connection on 27 Feb 2013 and got 1 month free subscription due to expire on 27 March 2013. The monthly rental of the plan after the free subscription is Rs.445. I requested a change of plan on 26 March to A la carte with monthly rental of around Rs.200. It was supposed to be activated within 24 hrs. I called them again after 24 hrs to check the status and they told me to resubmit my request on their website and send them an email also. I did that and still there is no feedback nor my plan has been changed. It is now the start of the new billing cycle and I am being billed according to same Rs.445 plan.
                                    I request you to please look in the matter to the earliest.

                                        We have made cash payment of Rs.1824/-(Bill no:1345 and aitrel ID:[protected]) on dated 29th March 2013.The payment was personally collected from us by Aitel staff(Mr.Ajay).But at the time of installation the installation engineer (Mr.Rajat Das) of Aitel DTH told that it cannot be installed due to not reciving signal.So he told us to buy another DTH connection of other company.But when we asked him to return our money immediately he told us to talk to his head (Mr.Saiful Modi, Salt Lake Kolkata) .On conversation with regard to refund of our payment of Rs.1824/- he told that it will be refund after 24hrs or more .Since from many times we are approaching the customer care and calling they are not responding to us.If they dont installed anything then why are they not returing us our payment of Rs.1824/-immediately.Please take a strigent action against the Airtel company and its employees for cheating us and giving fraud and inconvience service.
