I, Supanun S., mobile no. [protected] have activated the weekly internet bundle for blackberry of rs.100 last night around 7.30pm. My balance has been deducted and I have received a message saying that my request had been sent and that the service will be available within 4 hours. Till now 9.30 am. of the next day the service is not yet available on my blackberry. I called up the customer care twice and was told to call in a toll free number 7070 of which I was told again that this service is not available in my number. This is not the first time this problem is happening.
My last request is that most of the customer care assistants do not communicate in English which makes it really difficult for some o[censored]s to interact. Not only me, but many of the customers are hoping that you would make proper changes on this matter.
Kindly look into the matter immediately.

blackberry services — not happy with your customer services

Dear Sir / Madam,
Self is the branch manager of eastern travels pvt.ltd., bhubaneswar branch . Last month I bought a black berry handset from your 'Sahid Nagar web world', vani vihar square, bhubaneswar and since last 4 years we have been using your services and paying the bill through the above said office. As this month the bill has crossed more than rs.3, 500/- therefore I went to enquire about the bill detail as it was not in the present bill . I clearly remember initially it was coming with every month's bill .
( please note we are getting the bill detail in our other phones, even we got these in this month ) .
When I stepped in I met Mr.Himansu of Reliance as he has helped in taking decision to buy the black berry . I told him that I found the black berry is really helpful to our business and planning to give it to all my executives. Then I asked him to help me in getting my bill detail . He suggested me to go to Gayatri again I returned back from her desk to Mr.Himanshu as it was written ' THE NET SERVER IS NOT WORKING, SORRY CANN'T SERVE YOU' But Mr.Himanshu again advised me to go to Ms.Gayatri to enquire about the bill detail . Then I went to Ms.Gayatri but she told me to wait, afterward she took the help of another lady who was sitting beside her desk . After long wait she asked me whether we were getting the bill detail every month then I said 'yes' as I have seen these previously . She took out six months bill and told me rudely that you are lying as the last six months bill doesn't have the bill detail . I really felt offended as she was trying to prove me a lyer . I am sure previously the bill was having bill detail and as the only authrized person I have never sent a request to deactivate the same.
However this could have been explained to me in a better way without blaming me . I sincerely request you to kindly give proper training to the front desk employees so that these kind o[censored]nproffessional attitude will not reflect . As this may effect the Reliance company's image and more over the clients may prefer to change their mobile to another company rather going to the Web World and get themselve insulted.

I will appreciate if you could lodge my complain and arrange to activate the bill detail in my mobile bill i.e [protected] .

Looking forward to your kind co-op and necessary action at earlest.

Pm — BlackBerry

I bought this cellphone from HeeraPanna. With a bill (paid VAT ). It has a Warranty attached to it for 1 Year too.
I asked if the cellphone is Mac compatible. & he mentioned yes. Only later next day i found out it compatioble with verision 10.5 & above & not older ones such as 10.4
So, when i ask for a full refund the shop mentions shall deduct VAT + Rs.2000.
So, now i have to pay Rs.1800 for upgrading my mac to 10.5 too. Is the only solution I have.
(What if it was some guy who could not afford to pay this cost ) I cant imagine the state of a Senior Citizen.
Be carefull people... real careful.

AirTel — Regarding blackberry service

Hello,

I am an Airtel prepaid customer bearing the mobile number [protected] using its blackberry service. Before I was using bb 299 plan which allows only mails and messengers, then after using it for two months I upgraded my plan to 899 by recharging my phone with RC 1111 and later when i requested for my plan change they told that there is some problem in server so I need to wait for it, as per them I waited for more than 15 long days and after that I again tried activating bb 899 plan n finally after deducting by balance I even got confirmation sms that my plan has been changed to 899 successful but when I tried using the browsing service its shows that I dont have data package active in my number. I contacted to BlackBerry customer support executive where he told me that there is some problem in server and my active plan is 299, and even asked me to contact 121 for the refund. When I contacted to airtel customer care they told me that within 48 hrs I will get my balance back and also given me the complaint number[protected] and after waiting for 2 days when I called them, they said that 899 plan is active on my number for that they can't refund my money, but still there is no 899 plan active on my number as I'm unable to do browsing, then I called BlackBerry customer executive, he told me again that there is some server problem for which 899 plan is not activating in my number and asked me to contact the nodel officer.
When I called to Nodel office ([protected]) I spoke to the lady name with Jyostna and told her my problem, she ensured me that she will get back to me within 24 hrs and also would solve my problem but still there is no response from the.

Hence I request airtel either refund my amount back or active my 899 plan.

Airtel Mobile — Blackberry Service

This is regarding my mobile number [protected]. Last month I've received a bill of 34387.84 INR. The bill says that I've used blackberry services continuously for more than 72 hours from 17th Nov till 19th Nov 2010 and during these 3 days the blackberry service bill amounts to over INR 29000. How is it possible to use the service without sleeping and eating continuously for 3 days and nights? I am using blackberry service from last 8 months and never got a bill of more than INR 2000/ month. I never use blackberry for checking my emails and use it rarely for browsing. I never downloaded any software on my mobile at least during this period. My mobile’s browser record doesn't show any such extensive usage. After running around [protected]@airtel, nodal office and now appellate offices of Airtel for last 3 weeks, I am told today that the charges are valid. They say it's charged for browsing. I am ready to settle the bill but want them to send me a proof of what sites did I browse continuously for day and night which they say they can't. How can they bill for something which I've not used?
Yes, this is something unacceptable. I have been using the BlackBerry services since last 3 months, but if this is the case I might think of changing my operator..

    This issue is going from December 31'st 2012 to till date
    All proofs i have given and attached the bank statment again which has all the details.I received a new bill which the amount is not yet adjusted.

    This is regarding my aritel bill for the period 11/nov/2012 to 10/dec/2012

    I have paid the bill on 31/dec/2012(due date) from my airtel account(online) but i got sms from that payment failed.So within a minute i have paid one more time from the site and its was success.

    I checked with my bank(chennai branch) they told that both transaction was successfull from bank end and amount went the merchant payment gateway(that is airtel).The bank gave me the payment voucher number [protected] with the trace number for both 076580/080074.

    On Mar 24, 2013 airtel asked me for bank certificate and i had given the certificate too.But still they are not adjusting my amount Rs.656.18.Please help me.

    Airtel Broadband — Not refunding the amount

    Hi

    I am Jayakumar from Chennai.

    I applied for new airtel Broadband connection on Sep 22, 2009. Application
    no: 906991

    But when I called customer care after a week, they said that we cannot offer Broadband Connection in my location.

    Why don’t Airtel check, whether new connection is possible for my location before receiving any new application?

    If else i would have approached another provider.

    They said that we will refund the amount Rs. 2700 I paid within 2 weeks.

    But I didn’t receive my amount yet.

    I am using Airtel Mobile (postpaid) customer for 3 years.

    Is this the way the airtel handles a customer.

      Have applied for airtel data card on 16th mar 2013. This card was offered to me
      Under special plan for hsbc staff. Have received sim for the same the no is [protected] after paying rs 550 according to them I was supposed to get dongal in two days but not yet got. I called them twice in last week but they were unable to answer. I have stopped calling them and I fade up. airtel is least bother about their customers and make us fool. my 450 has gone for toss and apart from that I have been suffered a lot in these days

        I applied for a broadband connection on 28th March, 2013. On 29th March, 2013 I got a message that the request is in process and that airtel will revert to me within 48 hours. It has been more than 72 hours now since I have got any communication from airtel regarding the broadband request. Today when I called at "[protected]" for knowing the status of my request,I was asked to hold;I did so for more than 8 minutes without a word from the other end.
        I hope higher authorities take adequate action.

          I am using an Airtel prepaid number from July 2008. Recently when i downloaded a app on my smartphone it showed the number registered in the name of Chandan. Although i got it registered in the name of my father Mr. Rajesh Kumar Saxena. Now when i contacted their office, I got the answer that there is no solution to this Problem and the name cannot be changed. It would be a big problem for me in case the sim is lost or is damaged. So kindly help me in getting the number in my name or the original name i.e. my father's. Its the only contact number in all my Contacts and i cannot afford to lose it. I am ready to provide all my original documents again and all the details about this number in last 4.5 yrs.

              Unable to make calls to STD landline number

              This is highly ridiculous i had make this complaint almost a year back and it is still not fixed.

              i had raised a complaint with airtel almost a year back on 15th April 2012 , saying i cannot make calls to any STD BSNL landline numbers.I got a from airtel customer care saying it is resolved.

              Airtel Post Paid — Cheating by executive

              I am staying in Thane west where in my society Airtel is installing one tower. since airtel is installing one tower in my societyOne day an executive came to my place and give me a good post paid plan whic will come under corporate scheme. i found that scheme good and opted the same immediately. the plan was
              monthly 199 rental.
              200 Mins free
              200 SMS free
              30/ 50 /R.1 calls
              STD @ Rs.1
              he told me that first bill will come at R.1.50 for STD and we have to pay and inform that executive to shift the scheme to STD @ 1 rupee. it is almost two months now, i am trying to contact that STUPID EXECUTIVE FROM AIRTEL..his Mobile no. [protected] is switched off till date (tried while writing this as well). i have deposided 599/- as security.
              THIS IS WHAT AIRTEL IS DOING. CHEATING, CHEATING, CHEATING by giving wrong scheme to customers...

              Bharti Airtel Ltd — Cheated with me on plans

              I am running with a connection of airtel from last 2 years. There is no delay in payment in any month. They called me on 24th dec and asked me abt new launched plan. I was not clear abt the plan but I asked them yes after a hour I again called up them to stop and don't change my plan as my current plan is cheaper then what they offered me. They simpli answered that once after change request the plan cannot be changed.

              This is a cheated.. I want to log a compalint regarding a cheated plan given to me.. This is nothing but the harrassment with customer.

              They closed my earlier plan and implemented a new plan on my number. I don't want this plan at any cost and I will definately recommend all my friends to stop airtel connections on orkut and I will definately mail to all my couligues and chain mails to stop buying AIRTEL the fraud company connections.

              I will also sue airtel for a cheat with me and ask them to pay a fine of Rs. 1lac as I am closing my connection b'cos of company's fault and I lost the number running from last 2 years and my market.

              I have been an airtel (pre-paid) customer from last 3 years and during this long period i never had any complaint for their services, but from last few month i m being charged unknowingly for the services which i neither used nor subscribed. recently on 20 dec 2009 at 7:48am i got a msg from "54321" saying tht i have subscribed "subwaphvideo30" and being chared Rs. 30/- for the same. Before that i was also charged for "job alert" service which i never subscribed. Even talking to customer care associates went useless and they couldn't do anything they said. i m really bugged up this time and want a full time solutions for such problems. please help or i will have to some other network which i dont really want.

                i am krishnamoorthi . i purchased one Airtel data Card from airtel show room address ( No 170, Nsr Road, Saibaba Colony, Coimbatore - 641011) on 21st march 2013. tey told the scheme they provide as data card and scheme worth 1500+30 rupees for 10GB plan and it is post paid plan (Data Card number which i bought is - [protected] ). they told me that first one month u have free usage of 10GB after that u want to pay the bill amount of 1500 from 2nd month end. but they get 1530 rupees from me and they activated me 950 rupees plan and there is no free usage . i have contacted that rep Vivek and his office manager many times. but they told told we wont do any thing and we wont refund the balance amount also. then i called that rep vivek and ask about my problem to solve but he scold me in very bad and worst words. i am going to put a case on him . please dont buy any product from airtel. its a fraud company. that airtel office number - [protected], manager number - [protected], Rep Vivek number - ([protected],[protected],[protected]). airtel is no giving respect to their customers and they using bad words. avoid airtel. if any one using airtel hereafter then u also will get scold by that airtel people one day sure. airtel is not fit for this job.

                I purchased Data card from shara mall ggn and number of my datad card is [protected]. but the speed of Data card is very slow I launch so many complaint regarding this But no response from your side my last case number is 22177230 which s written on the date 22/07/2009 13:01:52. after two day a person came from network department and he say that your area don't have coverage that why i transfer your case to my senior departmet but still i don't recieve any response from your side. Now i want quick response from your side

                  my customer I d is [protected],FROM DIGITEL TV Nitin Ahuja (Telephone #[protected])called me several time in March for recharge the Digital TV. we have some nice scheme if you recharge for 1620 for the whole year. We will give you whole year pack in the same package which you have presently watching (i stopped digital tv since last 8-10 month). Although i was not in mood to recharge but he insist me serval time to recharge now and get the benefit of one year subscription. i recheck him regarding the same, he double assure me that you don't worry about the tenure of the subscription.

                  I recharged on 31st March, 2013 for the Rs. 1620 for the whole year but when i got the message from Airtel the period is valid on for 8 months. i was shocked to see the SMS and I called the customer care centre for complaining the same but he stately refused that there is no scheme like this but he cut down my phone while saying that your voice is not coming. This is thing which Air Tel people are doing with their customers. Kindly look into the matter and increase the validity of my subscription.

                  AirTel — airtel tv subscription

                  My Airtel Prepaid no is [protected].
                  I subscribed Airtel mobile tv some 3 weeks before and I call customer care on and asked them to unsubscribe the service. They said that they will resolve within 3 days.
                  From that date tothis days
                  [protected], Rs. 30 was deducted
                  [protected], Rs. 25 was deducted
                  [protected], Rs. 40 was deducted
                  [protected], Rs. 30 was deducted
                  [protected], Rs. 20 was deducted
                  [protected], Rs. 15 was deducted
                  [protected], Rs. 40 was deducted

                  I called this customer care nearly 15 - 20 times. One day(On May 3rd or 4th), customer care called me and said that this service is completely deactivated from your mobile.
                  Even from the day, they started deducting. Again I called the customer service, Every time they said that they will deactivate the service and there is no more charges will be deducted. Last two days they diverted my call. I cant able to contact customer care.
                  I lost nearly 200 Rs for that without using anything.
                  This is a very big headache for me, If you will not resolve this, surely i ll switch to some other networks.

                  AirTel — DTH Subscription

                  Hi All,

                  My name is Lt Col (Retd) Babu Singh Sengar and I have Airtel DTH connection from Airtel (Customer ID: [protected]).

                  I was offered a subscription of 1 year which offered additional 2 months free subscription. I paid Rs. 2652 to the Airtel Rep. who took responsibility to give me this offer.

                  Last week I checked and found out that the Airtel Rep. did not update my offer on the system hence I would not get the 2 month free subscription. I had paid advance money for 12 month regular subscription. I had placed the complaint to the Airtel complaints helpline and sent a mail to the Nodal officer.

                  Today I checked my balance and noticed that the regular subscription has been reduced by 2 weeks. On further inquiry, I was told that the monthly subscription has been increased hence the reduction.

                  I have lost faith in Airtel and am looking for alternative venue to resolve this issue. Please let me know how can I get this resolved once and for all.

                    Airtel with its worst services has totally devastated me with its 3g services ,these guys who work in airtel are least bothered about the work and most interested in playing holi and diwali with their bosses , i have no words to abuse its 3g services i am suffering from 7 days spent 3000 rs on this connection of airtel 3g i have been varified 3 times daily these bunch of crooks say that it would be activated next day and tomorrow never comes its a big mistake to buy airtel 3g .

                      I had booked Airtel DTH on 29.3.13 through online and the booking id is 193742 and the transaction id is "[protected]". But still as of now My customer id has not been created .
                      I have been trying the customer care for installation details but when I ask them about Installation they disconnect the call and this has happened for more than 20 times. I have recorded every thing the customer care people told me.

                      They say they would transfer the call but they immediately disconnect the call. It has been horrible enough to wait long enough to catch the person and they are not responding and simply disconnect the call.
                      I need information as to when the installation will happen and when the customer id will be created.

                        Bharti Airtel is in habit of repetetive frauds to harass me In case of no service and payment frauds. Mine lalndline number is [protected] and I am user of broadband and laldline services.

                        They are forcing me to pay bill for which i do not receive services. They have excuse of giving small discount and then charge huge remaining amount for no service. My connection is still victim of voice disturbance and intermittent sync, but they are forcing me to pay bill. I am not prreffering to switch to other service provider as my connection is old and economical but I can not pay for services which I have not used. Retention department people from airtel also told me to disconnect connection many times. They all are stupid with no attiquetes.

                        One more thing, I was about to cancel connection due to poor services, but collection department told me to pay samll bill after discount of Rs 290 in March 2013, they write this in receipt and sign it but now refused to give same. I can upload the scanned copy if required, I called them 15 times but in vain. Name of persons are Ravinder and sahil from collection department. My phone number is [protected] for contact.


                        I request consumer court to take strict action against them and provide me compensation for bad services and false promises asap.

                        Airtel — forced payment of fraudulent charges

                        Hi,
                        I have taken an airtel postpaid connection under Advance rental (one year 1199) scheme on 10th May, 2008. On 05th May, 2008 i have asked Aritel to convert my postpaid to prepaid as i do not want to continue with advance rental plan. But i have been told that advance rental of 1199 for next year has already been chanrged to my account. I made so many request and show my concern for unwilinness to pay 1198 for next year. But nothing happened and finally i have made a request to close my connection. After that, Airtel harassed me through all possible ways and forced me to pay the fradulent charges of 1198.
                        When i paid the charges, i re-issued the connection as i know i can use the connection for one more year because i have already paid the rental for next one year. But then in next bill i have been charged a fresh rental of 298. When i complaint that i have already paid advance rental and i should not be charged monthly rent, Airtel does not agree. The said we can not find out that you have paid for any advance rental.
                        This is a complete harassment. I am a software engineer and i do not have time to go to consumer court. Can i get justice through this forum?

                        I issued cheque on 11.11.2008 through ICICI bank for airtel landline bill, they withdrawn the money on 14.11.2008, i have proof from icici bank statement even from Airtel customer care manager also.
                        Airtel customer care manager asked Apology orally, it happens due to mistake in accounts department. But still mental torchar from customer care service every day and not cleared in bill also.

                        AirTel — Airtel Boardband fraud !

                        Lets begin this story from MARCH 2009
                        I installed airtel broadband internet at home with a plan of 512 kbps night unlimited costing me 877 pre month including taxes
                        After a month we get the shock of our lives when the bill after 1mnth of limited usage and waking up nights to use the internet ... we get a bill of 4000 Rs ard that amt .. shocked we call up the agent fellow MR.KANHAIYA MISHRA ... to tell him about this catastrophe,
                        After much a do - it was found that airtel had put in the wrong plan number and therefore our services were started again, after telling us that the extra amount will be waivered ... (This was due time till the next month had already arrived) Soon the next month came unlike their services, the bill always comes on time.
                        This months bill thankfully was right amount but suprisingly the waiver that we had asked for wasnt given the bill still showed 4000 +877 after all this month full of talking to very rude n irrisponsible customer care executives.
                        So we decided we will not pay the bill yet again till the waiver is given .
                        Day two of the arrival of the bill suddenly one saturday afternoon a DUMB (is an understatement) COLLECTION AGENT comes to our door step asking for the bill money . We enquire how much are we to pay ... SUPRISINGLY the agent did not knwo how much money he is to take from us !!
                        We refused to give him the money and told him to F$#k off
                        Next day again the agent comes by ... by all due consideration we were like there might be a fault of printing so we paid the bill accordingly of Rs.1760 (Rs.4 extra) i.e 877+877 of 2 months .
                        But no the line wasnt restarted, our line had been bared and still shows a billing out standing of 2000 Rs.
                        I have made calls everyday talking for atleast 1/2 an hour to all the call center employees in all corners of INDIA from GANESH, MAHEASH RAJESH DEVESH to the likes ... for 5 days day and night all assuring me that the services will start in 24 hrs ... i guess they live in som hyper time where 24 hrs is like never ending ... our services have still not been started, halfway down the next month and the next month bill awaits !!
                        without using internet at all for the entire month ...
                        I just called another insolant call center employee who kept me on hold for like 30 mins flat and answered telling me that i will have to pay 2000 Rs to restart my services .
                        Now what justifys this ... I wanted to inquire how i can file this case in the consumer court in lines of fraud ..

                        Airtel Broadband — case of fraud

                        I got a no from internet regarding New Airtel Broadband connection. I called that no and the next day a person called Aleem came.He took Rs 1000 from me and refused to give the bill and told that he will get back to us within 1 day.There was no response from him so i called him.The person told that the connection takes 1 week.After that he started telling that there is some technical problem and he said he will refund the amount in 1 week.Now its more than 25 days and there is no response from him or his.Even after repeatedly calling the office these people are not responding properly.

                        i am using airtel card on my number airtel activate itself and telling in sms its free of cost deducted 15 rs.
                        after second day start news service which we get from tv and charged 1.5 for 7day 1.5*7=10.5
                        after 87th day they started began daruvalas astrology service althought i rejected call directly and charged 15 rs. i tell to recover my 15+10.5+15=40.5 and call charge for complain 5(10 call) + 2(4call)+2(4call)

                        AirTel — fraud and poor service

                        Sir, I had installed Airtel Dish TV on 04 Nov 2010 with the help of the local dealer authorised by the Airtel Company here in Srinagar. Remote of the dish TV become unserviceable on 17 Feb 2011 within the warranty period but the person detailed by the dealer to provide services in Air Force Station , Srinagar had charged me Rs 250/- out of turn inspite my remote is in warranty period whereas the remote costing Rs 150/- only that too after the warranty period and my set up box got unserviceable on 21 Feb 2011 that too is in warranty period after calling the engineer for rectification they came to my house after three days and charge me Rs 200/- for visiting charges which is illegal as per the company rule, as the visiting charges will levied after 6 months and the visiting charges as per company norms is only Rs 100/- . After they installed new set up box now i am not able to see all my channels which I prescribed in my package due to poor installation and when I am calling to get it rectify they are making me fool from past four days and not coming to rectify it.I also lodged my complain in customer care on 24 Feb 2011 against cheating by the dealer vide complain number 5587405 and bad installation vide complain number 5584981 but still no action had been taken against any of the two complaint by the company. So kindly I would like you to take action against the above mentioned company/ dealer for cheating me and giving me the worst ever services of my life till date as soon as possible.

                        Airtel — bad service, fraud service

                        service of airtel digi tv are so bad that i have lost my hope of getting service, they are purely playing with the customer, what they have done with me and my family, they call us several times and told us that they are coming for service but all are false, it happens with us 12 to 13 times, my brother told that we will complain but they misbehave with my brother and gave him their complain email id, and told that we can do nothing. Now please help us from this problem.

                        I am a customer of airtel postpaid moile since 2006... airtel has billed wrong billing in my no [protected] i did so many complaint and mails but i did not get solutions,i was complaining since august 2011 but i did not get response. i got tired and did full payment on 05 june 2012 and i got commitment by airtel executive mr arvind chouhan and mr rohit, they committed me as per them my no will activate with in 24 hours but after 14 days it is not activated and now they are not receiving my call.
                        they have called me by these no airtel office no is [protected] and rohit no is [protected] and arvind no is [protected].

                        i thought they have done fraud with me.

                          come to our home after have big go with customer care and technical
                          assistance number provided. there after engineer has given wrong resolution
                          which is also quoted with reference number 29476907. now after finishing
                          all this guy named Adarash bearing phone number [protected] from the
                          regional office has called and spoke in rude manner that we will not do
                          today i.e..[protected] which is the official stipulated SLA time. agreed
                          and had warned me that to do escalations as many i can. so hope you can
                          help in this regards or else let me know to whom to escalate.

                          Note:- I am losing my daily burning rate of 15 rs as still the relay has
                          not been resumed.

                            Two value added services were activated without asking for proper confirmation and they have been charging for two months. When I called Airtel customer care and explained that these services were activated without my notice, they didnt refund my full amount.
                            MY COMPLAINT: For activation of any services they have only one step ( send SMS), so people reply accidently to their advitisement SMS and it gets activated, I feel they should have atleast two step process to activate any service ( like , 1.Send sms, 2.Re-confirm for activation)

                              I recently ported out my number from vodafone to airtel. On 19th March, I was in Delhi in a meeting when suddenly I got repeated messages from AT-AIRNF saying "Thankyou for using HELLO TUNES SUBSCRIPTION sevices. you have been charged Rs. 30". Since I had not started any of these services and neither wanted to, I reported the incident to 121 from Delhi (under roaming) but the just kept my call on hold each time. I also wrote an email to he corporate customer care regarding the issue on the same day.
                              After a couple of days, I received an email from corporate customer care that the Hello tunes shall be deactivated. However, when I inquired about payment of the charges, there was no reply from the customer care.
                              The issue still persists.
                              Why should I pay any charges when I have not subscribed to any services. Is airtel trying to make money by doing such fraudulent auto activation activities.
                              Who is responsible??

                                what to say about airtel? i had applied for MNP(Mobile Number Portability) on 4th march2013 with all my required documents(my international passport as my proof of identity). which at first they didn't accept it saying international passport is not accepted by airtel.then after repeated request and telling them the truth that i was the distributor of airtel for 3 years. they have accepted my documents (including 4numbers of passport sized photo) and gave me an airtel Sim Card in lieu of the number I have applied for MNP.but it has been 27days now they have not activated the Sim card.i have intimated this to the nodal officer of my zone and the appellate officers including 121. the probem has not been solved yet except some automated emails I am not receiving any respond. finally i've received an email from 121 care that they could not contact or me or solve my problem as the numbers given are not in proper format. i have given all my numbers including my mother's airtel number as alternative contact in international mobile number format as +91**********. what else they want? I have forwarded the mail to Mr.Sunil Mittal also today out of anger.

                                  Hi,
                                  I want to complaint against sudden application of FUP of 10 GB after 1.5 year of plan. I am an airtel customer from around 2.5 years.

                                  My original plan was 512 kbps which was upgraded to 1 Mbps around 2 years back when they were performing speed upgrade. Also sometime then i got an offer to pay 100 Rs more and double speed only for existing subscribers. I opted for it and got 2 Mbps speed. When i opted here i was specifically told that there was no limit on downloads.

                                  Everything was working fine no problems and i didn't have any FUP for around 1.5 years until recently in march 2013. Suddenly i received a message that you have used 80% of FUP and when i checked in my account it showed 10 GB Limit. I called Customer Care and asked what plan i am on they told i am on something called Delta Migration Plan and i had limit of 10 GB and after 10GB speed will drop to 256 Kbps.

                                  Now i told them that it was not possible because i am using same plan from around 1.5 years and my usages would have almost always more than 10 GB and that you can check my records. They said that we don't maintain older records for unlimited plans and there is nothing that they can do about my FUP.

                                  I couldn't work in 256 kbps and have migrated to higher 4 Mbps plan as a temporary alternative. At such speeds this FUP is crossed fairly quickly and even by paying so much amount you don't get proper broadband experience. Hence i will be moving soon to some other alternative ISP maybe ACT or Reliance etc.

                                  But the point to be noted here is not much about FUP but more about how they can anytime come and change your plan without any prior information or notice. When i opted for plan it was full unlimited or very high FUP that i never reached. How can same plan have different FUP suddenly. Also it was not the case that i was informed that my plan expired and i will be moved to a new plan , neither when i took it this plan i was told that i will have an expiry date. This is no way to treat old existing customers which have been with you from 3 odd years.

                                  As i went through consumer forum i found that i was not alone there are others who have been suddenly slapped with these new FUP's, some of them with airtel from 7 years. Although airtel have given very good service but now this incident has arisen the need for better alternatives and move on from alternative to an ISP who doesn't play such tricks to sell their higher rate plans and have courtesy to stick to their plan what they offered at some time.

                                  The exact same thing happened to me. They offered to upgrade my existing plan for free and suddenly imposed a FUP on the connection. After that we get an unusable 256KBPS connectivity. I am surrendering my Airtel Broadband at the end of Oct 2013. I have had enough.
