We used Airtel Broadband Service from 2009 till 5-Nov-2012. The main reason for disconnection was improper service.
We asked Airtel to change connection name from my sister's name to my name, when we called Airtel support executives, they asked us to go near by airtel shop and register complaint.
My sister and myself we both went Madhapur-Hyderbad Aritel shop nearly 4 times, finally got frustrated and asked them to take complaint. They said they don't have complaint registration forms and asked us to go Ameerpet Airtel shop. we refused to go there and asked them to take complaint. Finally they gave one pick form and asked to fill my details along with my sister's details and address proofs and letters from both o[censored]s. After registration, they did not give any ticket registration number, when we asked them to give ticket number, they said they will register later and send us to our mailid and mobile number. when we insisted to give ticket number, they gave pick slip copy as ticket#
Later we did not get actual ticket number neither to our mail ids nor mobile number,.
the complaint we registered was to change connection name to my name, but They sent next month bill on my sister's name, when we called airtel, they said there was no complaint on connection name change
then we again sent mail to appellate.[protected]@in.airtel.com, nodal.[protected]@in.airtel.com, along with pink slip form which they gave us as ticket# as attachment, they registered complaint and changed bill name to my name, but when i asked to change that month bill to my name, they disagreed, so, finally i sent mail for disconnection, after few telephone communication , they disconnected.
Next month i got call from Airtel to pay balance amount, my bill amount was some thing around 2500 change, i said i'll clear total amount, if they were ready to change last month bill name to my name, they did not agreed.
Later again after 1 month they called and asked me to pay 1500 , they said 1500 Rs was enough, no need to pay total amount, since i used Airtel intrenet on that month, i said i was ready to pay 1500 .
Finally,some airtel executive came home and collected 1500 cash plus landline equipment and gave some receipt.
Later 5 months, Now they are calling and saying they issued some legal notice for not paying 1476 Rs.
but i did not get any legal notice to my home address or email id.
Why i should pay 1476 Rs now, they said it was closed 5 months before. It is totally a harassment
