I had lost the Airtel Sim and had blocked it after losing it. Since I was not interested in further using dint claim for another and had mentioned the airtel representative of not interested in continuing with Post Paid plan. I paid all the dues until tehn.

But still they kept me billing for 6 months and I dint notice that , but they started calling to my other number and kept pressurizing in paying the bill.
So finally did oblize paying the bill, but even until now they havenot cancelled my number though have informed them.
Bill has almost reached 2k. Now again they want me to pay the amount before cancelling it.

Airtel being such a big customer is cheating with people. Though I havenot used their service for 1 year they kept me constantly billing it and they want me to pay the entire amount before cancelling again.

Please let me know of what can be done with these kind of cheaters

Airtel Service — Cancellation of SIM

Airtel/Post paid sim — No service from January 20th

Dear sir/Madam,

I'm using post paid corporate connection taken from Airtel since 2003. Actually mine is an add on card (My parent number is [protected], it is with my husband. ) fecility given by the company, that means i can call only 3 numbers registered to the company. Everything was fine till this 20january 2009. Suddenly my service was disconnected by the company even after paying my monthly bill before the due date.When i called the customer care the guy told that your complaint has been registered and will be rectified as soon as possible.soon after the phone call i got a SMS from the company your problem will solved by 27 jan, we need 1000hrs. ok i waited and remaind them again and again. Each and every time they are saying sorry for the inconvenience, it will be rectified soon. But till today nobody solved my problem and i'm not able to contact the people with my cel phone.
Please consider my complaint and do the best.

Airtel — Charges applied even after cancellation of sim- postpaid

Had disconnected number [protected] even after that Airtel people are sending us bill charges and trouble by giving calls and harrasing us necessarily.

Cancellation wasn't been processed even after visting Vashi Airtel Gallery Sector-17. The excecutive isn't even getting the complete details from their dept reg. the number even though full and final settlement was been done on 18.12.2009.

Had taken new number against the old cancelled number which got activated on 24.12.2009 and the old number got deactivated the same day itself with no further services. Even after trying to make them understand to get the details from concerned branch, executives are acting deaf ears.

    Airtel — COMPLAIN FOR YOUR UN-COMPLETE SERVICE

    I port my no. [protected] (previous network - Aircel) to your network (Airtel).

    I guess that your netwok signals is fine in all areas, but I don't know about your service.

    Your service/customer service is very poor & weak.

    I don't suggest you to well maintain your service, you better know than me.

    My no. [protected] started in your network in July 14th 2012, Saturday, but next day (Sunday) its INCOMING CALLING are off.

    Whenever any person call me, its say that my no. ([protected]) is not reachable, problems are simultaneously.

    Well that I never port my no. ([protected]) in your network, I'm very upset your service.

    I went Airtel Customer Service Center, there I told my problem, they help me but, nothing solution, problems are simultaneously.

        Hi,

        Faulty bill which include some advance for 3G services (h 4 yearly adv rental 5gb 3g gprs free, 3p/10kb(after 5gb, 100% [protected]@80kbps)@840 13" i.e. Rs. 8400.00 + Taxes.)

        Which is not requested by me or not informed to me in advance for verification. Now, my services are barred due to crossed the credit limit from 12th Jan'13 morning. I have talked to Customer care Service executive on 11th Jan'13 for wrong billing & 12th Jan'13 for barred outgoing & he confirmed to activate the outgoing & bill correction within 48hours but no action taken.

          i was wrongly and incompletely informed by an female associate on 10th of january when first time i contact with your custmer care.Actually i was going to take a recharge for GPRS plan so i was not exact aware about the plans in punjab airtel prepaid.i call to custmer care centre and my call connects at Jammu centre at airtel prepaid(Punjab).an associate inform me the plan of rs 149 unlimited GPRS and inform me that you can recharge your account and you will get unlimited data.i recaharged with rs149 at[protected] at 11:21 AM but i got 700 local A2A minutes instead of Data which was not required so i call again regarding inconvinience to me and complaints regarding misleading information given to me by the agent and demands for waiver but they simply denied for this.Then after i regularly call to Custmer care regarding my problem but they simply denied and did not give me resolution.from that date i call daily at centre related to my same issue.i think i had call in custmer care about 30 times during this 30 agents,about 20 seniors(KNE'S) ,5 teamleaders such as Mohit Walia(JAMMU),NAUSHAD AHMAD(JAMMU) and GURPREET SINGH(CHANDIGARH),,,and even i had talked to Manager of JAMMU Airtel centre..but not a single person give me resolution to my satisfaction..and every time they commit me call back but i did not get a single call back from their end till now.last day at monday i speak to Mr. GURPREET SINGH (TEAM LEADER) and they listen my call in which misleading information was given to me and give me resolution and feel sorry as well as compulsate with me for waiver of rs100 and inform me that waiver will be passed with in 4 hours of rs 100.but as per their commitment rs100 waiver did not passed to me till now.and today i call to know the status then i speak to team leader at JAMMU center and they directly refuse that no such request for waiver is processed till now,so kindly take solid action against this and pass my waiver of rs 100 as per commitment as soon as possible and one more thing i reuest that all my calls taken by associates from date 10th january to 15th january should be listen because minimum 15 times i have called at centre are disconnected by agent end even by seniur associaes also and take solid action against them so that your process can be better otherwise these associates can be cause a big loss for airtel.thanks.

            my mobile no.[protected].i droped a cheque at madivala airtel office on 14th may 2008. but stil not cleared that cheque. unecessarly disconnect the service and making reactivation fee.

            I Arky pajuh of Lad-Rymbai Jaintia Hills Meghalaya had posted a complaint and the complaint is not yet solved .I was a distributor of airtel pco in Lad-Rymbai for past 2years but now without information i was suspended from distribution and the Pco Voucher of Rs 75000/ were deactivated and i send it for replacement to the company 2years back and till date i hv no update regarding my vouchers ,but instead things went more worst wen all my Pco MACHINE were deactivated which cost round figure 2lakhs plus and wen i call the sales executive they make fun.So Sir i request u to solve my problem.

            sir plz check my bill from may to november. plz to be check i have charged rs 100 for 3g in may or june after that i have been 500mb data for what i dont know when i had an plan of 3g where i had been given 200mb for rs 100 then why i had given 500mb for free. after that i have charged with open 3g charges or made my 3g plan deactivate without given any information plz to tell me when i am paying rs100 for 3g then why i have open charged for 4g in the month of sep oct or nov plz check these 3 month bill and solve my problem or call me at [protected]

                Hello,

                I given a request for Port In to Airtel which has been happened successfully on Sunday 13 Jan 12 at around 1 AM. I was very happy at I got good service but next day on Sunday morning at around 10 am when I tried to call STD number I got to know that on my connection STD and ISD facility hasn't activated. Then I called Airtel Customer Care number (121) at around 11:30 am (not sure exact time) then call center executive told me that this will take 4 hrs to activate STD and Basic ISD services. When I checked in the evening still it hasn't activated and then again I called to Airtel customer care on 121 and I got same answer. I wait for whole night and then on Monday 14 Jan 13 at around 10:45 am and submitted change request form at Airtel Gallary in Aundh Pune branch as while port in Airtel has done typo error in my first name instead of Shashank they have entered my name as Sushant hence for this also I need to go and submit a new form and also valid proof along with which is really a stupid thing as already I given all the required documents while taking the connection at the time also I told them to activate STD and ISD services and then they told it will take 4 hrs.

                I raised a SR[protected] also from My Airtel site. Today (14 Jan 12) around 1 pm I got the message as your STD and National Roaming services activated but it hasn't and then again I called customer care on 198 and I got to know that there is some site up gradation is going on so kindly contact after 2 hrs when I called in the evening around 7:15 pm on 198 the customer service has told me since your ISD service hasn't activated your STD is also not working once we activate your ISD service automatically STD service will be activated. Now at 9:15 I got the message from AZ-AIRCCM saying that your ISD services has been activated.

                But still neither I am able to do STD nor ISD. Don't know whom to told and whom should I contact. Basically I have taken a plan STD 399 Plan in which I am getting free 500 local and 500 STD min free so it's common sense that if any customer is taking STD plan so the concern person is more need a STD call more over the basic part is the STD and National Roaming should be a default facility which should be come with activation. For ISD, I can understand there is special activation required.

                Hope I will get proper help and my issue gets resolved.

                Airtel — not providing isd and std services

                Dear sir
                I have been requesting airtel to activate my std and isd services on my fixed line number [protected] from oct 25th 2011 request no 6225664 and 6225766 ,they say it will get activated in 4 hours but still not working.

                For you & concern team information I am mentioning my problem again:

                Problem 1 :

                I can't make any STD and ISD calls though on your system it's showing as Active whenever I am dialing any STD and ISD numbers I am getting reply as "STD and ISD facility is not available on your phone kindly contact to 121 customer care to activate it."

                Problem 2 :

                While taking the connection I submitted all the required documents. But there is typo error in my First Name. In Airtel Account information my first name showing as 'Sushant' it's wrong. The correction should be needed and it should be showing as 'Shashank'. When I called to Airtel Customer Care the executive told me submit required documents.

                On Monday 14 Jan 13 at around 10:45 am and submitted change request form at Airtel Gallary in Aundh Pune branch with necessary proof (Passport xerox copy). Kindly do the changes immediately as when I called to Customer care on 121 they told me it's require 15 days. Not sure why it require so much time even though there is no mistake from my side. Until you change it I can't claim the bill to anywhere. It's mandatory to have a correct name and address to claim.

                  On my transfer from Pune to Chennai, I have been requesting the customer care to re-install my connection since 12.12.2012, but in vain. Every time they note my request and assure me sending engineer with in 8 hours to resolve my complaint. I had a talk with their Team Leader (reportedly) on three occasions on this matter.(Namely Sh.Bhaivab, Sh.Nitin & Sh.Nikhil) but my complain is still persisting. I have at-least made complaint for 16 times on this issue. Since I use the services prepaid, I am at loss for every moment delay.

                  Is there anybody in the service providing company who will respond on my complaint and resolute.

                  AirTel — non installation of dish tv

                  Parminder singh here from ludhiana i ordered disht tv of airtel on 23 february by sending online request.the customer care called me and told me all the details and new offers about airtel dish tv.i talked to jatinder sibgh from amritsar.he agreed me that u hav to pay 1590 rupees advance and on 24th february ur dish tv will be installed.and on 23rd february at 4 pm inderjeet singh from ludhiana collected 1590 rupees from me.from then on i am waiting for the installation of dishtv.due to cable operators not broadcasting cricket world cup i opted for dish tv but its getting too late.its of no use if you install it after the world cup is over.they dont even pick my phone.if this attitude keeps on going from ur side i have to look for taking legal action against you.i am really depressed by the services provided by you and i wont recommend anyone in future to buy any product from you.

                  Dish TV — NON INSTALLATION

                  I purchased a dishtv connection on 19 feb 2011, along with a samsung tv, and I have been told that installation is not possible on my premises. I spoke to the dish tv call centre asking that the hardware (worth Rs3190) be delivered in exchange for my dishtv voucher.

                  However, the technician and the mumbai office have refused to provide the hardware in exchange for the voucher even though the voucher clearly states that 'Upon presentation of the PIN number of the voucher, Dish TV HD Hardware (including STB, VC, dish antenna, LNB, 12 mtr wire) shall be provided'.

                  I have been trying to get this resolved over the last 1 week and I have spoke to the call centre multiple times, but this is still unresolved.

                    My balance was Rs 150,within two days become rs 109.I hardly called those two days except two /three local numbers.Enquiring my last 5 transaction,found Rs 17 has been deducted on VAS.By calling customer care told me someone has mistakenly recharge on your account,and we just deducted from your account.They are fooling me.Purely false.Disgusted....

                        i am using airtel connection in my mobile.My mobile no is [protected].i am not using internet pack.Now plz deactivate internet pack in my airtel mobile.Daily 10 rs per loss in my account.I requested for plz deactivate pack with online processes asap................
                        I requested for deactivation of internet services.I tried dialing 567 and following the instructions. I sent a request by email four days ago and no action has been taken by Airtel.
                        I tried lodging a "NeedHelp" form through Airtel Website. Which is again not accepting any request.

                          My Account No-[protected], is with Airtel Digital TV and am user for the alst 3+ years.

                          I am not using the service for the last 3 months and because of this reason I am getting at least 5-6 unwanted/pathetic auto generated calls from customer care.

                          Customer care is not taking care after several requests.

                          Please take this requset on priority basis and make sure that such unsolicated auto generated call should not reach me.
                          It's purely my wish whether to continue or not with the service and don't require multiple similar calls through out the day.

                          Such kind o[censored]nethical behavior force me to think twice for future relationshiop with Airtel Digital TV.

                          Expecting an early resolution from Airtel end failing which I may take the help of law.

                            my complaint about process of Prepaid - Postpaid Conversion.

                            I was apply for Postpaid in airtel on 4th Jan 2013 and now its 14th Jan 2013 - 10 days of span what are these people are doing ..
                            I am just fed up of calling them and asking them when my Postpaid service get started. but every time they gave me foolish answers like still "Processing n all. They take ""10"" days to convert my prepaid to postpaid and STILL MY POSTPAID SERVICE IS NOT ACTIVATED. and worse thing is they even shut down my prepaid service also. its been 2 days my all airtel service are shut down.. that's means i am with empty Phone with no service. They don't even care about customer inconvenience.

                            so final remark about airtel is "VERY PATHETIC APPROACH"

                                this is regarding the mobile number [protected] of airtel. sir on[protected] i cleared my all dues on airtel bill and paid Rs 1390 and submitted all documents for closing my account . receipt no is 1167 khazana gate branch amritsar. after that i got call from airtel representative that i have paid Rs 100 more than the actuall amount . so they can convert this number to prepaid from postpaid and i can have lifetime validity . i told the person that i dont want that please keep rs 100 with you. but again and again bill is coming and i visited airtel show room many times for my solution but nothing is resolved. they started sending collection person to home for collecting bill amount. then i talked to mr vikas sarishwal any senior in airtel he gave my complaint no 47812220 and told me that it will be resolved in 4 jan 2013 2 pm . but today on 14 jan 2013 i got call from their recovery office and they threatned me to pay or they will file case against me . due to this company i cant concentrate in my work and they are harrasing me like anything . please tell me resolution

                                  ON THIS NUMBER AIRTEL HAS STARTED CALLER TUNE IN OCT 2012 WITHOUT MY INFORMATION.

                                  AND THEY CHARGED RS 200 IN MY BILL . I CALLED SEVERAL TIMES TO CUSTOMER CARE TO STOP SERVICE OF CALLER TUNE AND REFUND MY MONEY . TILL 2 MONTHS THEY DIDNT TAKE ANY STEP FOR MY SOLUTION . THEN I STOPPED PAYING MY BILL AND TOLD THEM TO CLEAR MY ISSUES AND I WILL PAY THE BILL .

                                  NOW AFTER 2 MONTHS THEY ARE READY TO REFUND MY RS 200 FOR CALLER TUNE BUT THEY HAVE IMPOSED LATE FEES CHARGES ON ME . AND THEY ARE NOT READY TO WAIVE OFF THIS MONEY.

                                  I AM USING THIS NUMBER FROM SO LONG AND I ALWAYS PAID MY BILL ON TIME AND BECAUSE THEY WERE NOT LISTENING TO ME SO I TOOK THIS DECISION.


                                  KINDLY REGISTER MY COMPLAINT AGAINST AIRTEL FOR CREATING MENTAL DISTURBANCE TO ME AS WELL AS MY MONEY

                                  Airtel — Fraud / Incorrect Charges On My Bill

                                  Dear Sir,

                                  I have an airtel landline / broad band connection no. [protected]. Last month I shifted from the 2nd floor of the same apartment to the ground floor and had to ask Airtel Customer Suppor Team to shift the Phone connection from Second Floor address to Ground Floor. I asked the Customer Support Executive if there would be any charges levied to me due to this shifting and the customer support exec. confirmed to me since the shifting is in the same apartment "There would be NO Charges Levied" for this shifting. Later the engineer from Airtel came to my place and shifted the phone line which took him approx. 10 mins to do the entire activity as all the cables are already in place for all the apartments in our society for every house. I again asked him will there be a charge for this and his answer was "There would be NO charge for this service as it is in the same apartment".

                                  Around 10-15 days later I was shocked to see in my next bill there was a Charge of Rs. 300 levied on to my bill in the "Other Charges" section. I immediately called up Customer support and now to my surprise I was being harrased by saying there would be a charge to this connetion as the address has changed and it as per our company policy. "What a Shame" A company like Airtel cheating customers like this. I demanded to talk to the floor supervisor Mr. Danish Siddque (As told to me by him) who was not at all customer friendly and in a mood to listen to his customers. He kept insisting that is a company policy and the least he can do about it. "Helpless Supervisor" to say the least with no courtesy and basic knowledge of handling customers. Moreover when I got a little annoyed with him the way he was handling the entire call he told me I can go ahead and surrender this number if I want to however he would do nothing but waste my time. I asked him to log my complaint immediately and he gave me the ticket number[protected]. When I asked I need the Customer Redressal Cell email address and CEO email address he gave me the address of Mr. Gurvinder Singh saying he is the CEO of the company to which I am writing and would wait for any positive response.

                                  I am writing this in the forum with utmost disatisfaction and want everybody to know how AIRTEL as a company is cheating their customers.

                                  For the past one year I have been receiving the SMS from Airtel Bill service that " bill delivered, received by Sangeeta " that is me but I have never received or signed any bill rather always the bill is thrown at my stairs.

                                  When the bill is never delivered at my house, then who is Airtel to sign on my behalf and just throw the bill along with the statement every month. I have complained regarding this many times but still this is happening.

                                  I have purchased a 3G sim of airtel for IPad , the amount which is charged is 675 advance of one month plan+ 100 sim charge+ 500 activation fee. And we get to know that there is no rule to charge advance and sim charge. I have purchased the sim on 26 march2012 . No communication is done about this till date to refund , also no action is taken by airtel till date against the franchise. Now we(I and my friend who is also suffered from same case) both are looking to go in consumer court .

                                    I have a Airtel mobile connection with number [protected]. The company deduct the amount from my balance without pre-notification of intimation. I have not availing any facility and no information is being provided for the deductions.

                                      My No. is [protected]. I am Huawei Engineer taking care of Backend Process for Airtel MH/MB Circle.
                                      Today 14 Jan after 10:30 AM, I receive a message from AT-AIRINF that " Thanks for downloading value pack from Air-tel. you have been charged Rs 99.0 ". Its my request that I didn't ask for this service. Kindly refund the amount.

                                      Also I tried to contact CCR several time on 198 but only first time my call was allowed n that time executive put me on hold n after keeping on wait she disconnected the call. After this my all call got rejected from IVR itself when I choosing option '9'.
