I am a Platinum customer of AIRTEL services. Still after a lot many complaints they have hardly bothered to improve services of 3g. I am using galaxy note 2, the network shows full signal of H+ but the speed is pathetic. Not able to use applications properly. Airtel had changed my sim card as well but still is not working. I have another number of Vodafone and I get a speed of 1 mbps of download and 800kbps o[censored]pload speed when I use that sim on note2.
It's been a month now following up at customer care.

    Hi sir

    I am facing issues with internet speed on my phone since 9th January 2013 and I had a word with almost everyone in airtel. Customer care people don't even know how to talk to the customers. They don't even know that I have been using intenet from last 3 yrs, they don't have records for the same.

    I have registered a complaint with highest level of airtel (applette) on 17th jan 2013 on which I was about to get the resolution by 25th Jan 2013... I never received a call or an email from airtel by 25th. Therefore I contacted them today on the phone and Anita or Amisha from airtel said that she will contact the concerned department and would call me back in half an hour but I never received a call back again.As a customer I am not supposed to get this kind of service. A lot of time they have done this to me (giving me run arounds).My internet is running very very slow on my phone due to which I am losing a lot business.Airtel only says these fancy lines on the email to attract the customer but this is all rip off.I would like you to please intervene and help me fix this with airtel...Please let me know whatelse I can do.

      I am not making any calls from my landline (which comes with the broadband connection),but still i am getting the bill!

        Hi,

        I've given a request to Airtel Shop (Porur Branch) to change my prepaid mobile plan to post paid, they said that within 7 working days it will be activated but it is been more than 2 months and I'm finding no improvement, in fact it is worster than before, that is from past 5 days if any body call to my number it says 'the number you've dialled is switched off'.

        I been calling to Airtel customer care but its just waste of time and money, they are picking call but not talking but the currency is getting deducted.

        I can say that It's height of worst customer service I've ever experienced.

        I've ever experienced such a WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE. I think this is the only service provider who will DISCONNECT THE NETWORK itself without any intimation. I called airtel post paid this morning and spoke with agents Prema, Vimal, Sathish, Shiva and Sudhakar. All of these except Sathish, placed me on hold forever and never came on the line back, two agents disconnected the line. I hope these agents know that i cant call from my mobile, i called from booth and everytime i have pay atleast 50 rupees for each call i make, becoz to reach a Cust service agent itself it takes a long time, i have to choose all the IVR options and reach them. They just repeat the same dialogue" Sorry for the inconveneince and frustration", but they really dont feel sorry.They always promise they would call me back in 2 hours, but they never call me. Last night they unbarred my network and im not able to make outgoing or incomming, this was done without any intimatation, if they say that they follow process, they need to call me and let me know that they are going to disconnect the line. USUALLY IF WE DONT PAY BILLS, THEY WOULD FIRST BLOCK OUTGOING, BUT ONLY IN AIRTEL THEY BAR THE NETWORK ITSELF, WHICH IS SO FRUSTRATING. Because of this i missed my company vehicle since they are not able to call me.I went atleast 2 hrs late to office which brought me lot of problems, i was not even able to call my manager to intimate the problem. This after calling your agents atleat 5 times one gentleman called Sathish told that he will activate my connection in 2 hours and he will also arrange a callback but he never did as usual. When the agents believe that they have attended our calls well and if they think that we are happy with the service, only then they would send a Sms to send our feed back, but i dont think they document all the calls we make. I prompted for a service request number and got it from the agent today, [protected] and[protected]. Im going to Drop this connection and switch to a different one. This is to let you know that the only reason im dropping your connection is,
        1. The worst customer service they provided
        2. The flase promises which they made
        3. Placing the customers on hold forever or disconnecting the line
        4. Assuring that they will call back which they never do.
        5. Not sending proper Bills.

        I will surely let my collegues and friends know about the service you provided.
        If your mental ability is the same level as your terrible spelling and grammar perhaps you misunderstood them?

        Bharti Airtel — Waste Post paid service

        I already had per paid connection from airtel.

        airtel post paid marketing people given some wrong information about post paid connection and give me post paid connection with CUG..

        all verification over then they given me the post paid card.. after 10days back they disconnect my number i contact airtel customer care they told your in bachelor accommodation so u need pay Rs.200.

        i paid Rs.200 and they activated after 5 days back again they disconnect my CUG number. i ask to customer care they told your wrongly using CUG like that its only for blood relations only why they not tell in first getting connection????????????? fraud...

        Airtel Postpaid — Worst Customer Service

        Dear Sir/s,

        This is to bring to you notice that i have been facing problems with Airtel & it has been more than a month now. I have signed up Airtel postpaid service (delhi) i have taken 2 connections with them however they have stopped my primary account under the number [protected] in my name Siddharth Lohat. They have given me the reason that because my address was not verified correctly they have stopped my number. I was not even notified before cutting my number off. On top of that I work for HCL Tech. LTD Noida & i live in west delhi. Because of their silly mistake they have commited i lost Rs 675 because i didnt get picked up when my cab came to pick me. I had to hire a radio taxi to avoid unscheduled leave to save my wages. on top of that i have registered with them with another number which has not been activated yet. I was told that they will get in touch with me by 07/10/09 which didnt happen apparently. I am annoyed with the customer services as well. moreover i was told that they will go ahead & reverse the charges on the bill as well. however again i didnt hear anything from them now iam without the phone for nearly a month now & they are still not giving me any resolutions i have been promised on sevral occasions that they will gimme the resolution ASAP however they were not able to do it which seems unproffesional to me.

            I have already complain about this matter that my number [protected] is disconnected due to some reason and the fault is from ur department and know they have provided me the new number which is [protected] but not give me the balance which was on my previous number they have only given me RS 50 but on my previous number the balance was more than RS 150 you can also check from your system .

            To whomsoever it may concern

            This is to let know that your company AIRTEL has disappointed me yet
            again regarding the my Documents not reached to the concerned department, as
            being a customer I have been suffering a lot, as my services were disconnected
            without any intimation ,I called a number it went thru to customer service and
            I was informed that I need to go to nearest customer correspondence office ,I
            went to Behra enclave office they said they dont have any information and need
            to submit the documents again .I believe this botheration is like a Harassment
            to me and I am disturbed again and again in my busy schedule .I would be please
            to inform you that after clearing this I would switch my services of this
            number to vodafone and other 2 numbers [protected],[protected] would be followed
            soon .


            As per the customer service deptt my documents have not been submitted ,So can
            I please know that why I was sent this email mentined above, that the documnets
            have been reached to the concerned authortiy .I believe airtel has made a
            regular practice of bothering people .


            My next step would be to file this in consumer court ,If I will not be getting
            the apology

              ON 25th Dec 2012, I requested broadband service in online site : http://www.airtel.in/wps/wcm/connect/airtel.in/airtel.in/home/foryou/broadband+a... On the very same day i got call from airtel sales team, and on the next day a sales person visited my home and got all my address proof and also got 1200 as initial payment for the service...               Till the date i did not get my connection and also not got the money refunded.. whenever i call customer care they say that the money will be refunded in 21...

              But today they saying that money will be refunded on 13 of Feb 2013 only . and sales person did not cared to attend my call once the time after he got the money and left me.

              Worst service from Airtel which was never expected.

              I am Facing the same problem as deepak4ursmile.. We have asked for a connection in thoraipakkam from the same santhome sales branch.                 I have been applied for port on 24th of this month and i got a call form the retention department of airtel and offered a better plan and promise me that they will activate it in next 72 hours but they did not do it. now when i called their customer call no they said first cancel ur port request and then they will activate it. I followed the instruction given by airtel but i get a message that this is not a prescribed format to cancel the port request. i was surprised as the format was told to me by the airtel. Now the problem is that, they do not activate new plan on my no and i am suffering from loss due higher call charges due to their false promise. Please look into the matter and do something against airtel.

                  I am Jaideep and unfortunately i decided to buy an Airtel postpaid connection for a long term use, from a retailer in sector 56 HUDA market "Jhalak Communications". I changed my job and wanted a permanent number, I took the new kit after submitting all my documents and a security deposit amount of Rs.250. Its been since 15 days that I am looking forward for my connection to get activated, I got tele-verification calls a couple of times and myself tried to contact the retailer for a physical verification, which never happened.
                  I have been running from pillars to post to get the number ([protected]) activated but of no help, neither the company CS team helps nor the retailer from whom i have bought this connection. i also went to the retailer for a refund of the security amount but he too denied siting various reasons.
                  This is the state of apathy of so called the leading operator in telecom industry, if someone concerned reading this complaint may contact me on my prepaid number [protected], having given my number i am quite sure that no one will even bother to get it resolved but however one thing is for sure me, my friends and my family will never again think of buying an Airtel connection and all friends who are reading this please beware of AIRTEL, never buy any connection from this arrogant telecom giant.

                    I am Ravi and I am an Airtel user and received a call from [protected] on 27 January at around 7:35 PM, I didn't took the call but later on I searched for it on Google and found that this number was spam and can cause sim cloning, I am very much concerned and would urge the concerned authorities to take appropriate actions for such nuisance.

                    Kindly help me out in this context and do take required action as early as possible.

                      I have been using the same airtel prepaid sim card for about seven years now, but last 3 months have been disasters for me, in the name of balance thefts, wrong booster offers, once sms booster for 30 days is paid for and activated, gets deactivated in seven days time. customer care cant be reached for some reason. im hating it now.

                        my mobile number is:[protected].,my name is Mukul Mukherjee, i have taken an airtel connection in the state of west bengal, for the past few days i have been entitled a model video pack with out my concent. i called up customer care for stopping this service as i did not want this, further i have sent messages also to stop this kind of services.

                        But inspite of my efforts i was ignored, many a times i was told that this service will be closed down shortly, but no steps has been taken as of now, more over its really hurting and a sence of insult for me to call down the care centre and getting a response which is highly ill behaved.

                        i hope this matter would be taken care shortly.

                          Sorry to report about a disaster in service by Airtel.
                          We have been using a landline with broadband in Gurgaon since last one year[protected].
                          When we approached 121 on 22 Jan 2013 for disconnection on 29 Jan 2013, we were told that we will get a call back within 2 hours (Ref No[protected]. No calls so far
                          When we reported in airtel website, we got acknowledgement LB[protected] dated 22 Jan saying that they will get back within two working days. It is already 5 days & still no reponse.
                          It is rather unfortunate that such a big player like Airtel cares very little for individual customers.
                          Overall, it has been a very painful experience for a simple disconnection of service.

                          Our landline & broadband suddenly out of service since this morning 27 Jan 2013. NO CLUE ON WHAT IS GOING ON. There are no calls, no response & possibly no procedure for disconnection of service. Customers of airtel definitely deserves something better!

                          Very disappointing and frustrating to interface with Airtel.

                              money deducted from my balance and not reverting it back instead of calling me lot of time, giving new date each time.
                              i am also holder of airtel prepaid account. and the observer of their frauds as well.

                              the government of india should have to make laws for these tellecom companies to avoid such type of deductions of money from their account...

                              i am manish kumar, user of prepaid connection with your company( airtel ).my cell number is [protected], i have a message from number 4774 intimating that my missed calls alert service activated without my subscription or any request to airtel. and
                              automatically 15 rupees deducted from my account from balance rs 2 to negative balance rs 13.

                              its not the case of just RS 15 .its fact that company is having lakhs of connection and missusiing their accounts with these types of obligations.

                              i have already complained to customer care but no any positive response acuted.

                              i request you to please reimburrse my dues back...

                              I am having airtel prepaid card every month Rs.30/- get deducted. I have not opted for any caller tune still the amount gets deducted.

                              Lat day I got a message from 64611050 saying "Thanks for using unlimited pack service on airtel wap. You've been charged Rs. 50. I haven't used any service of Airtel's.                               Airtel Prepaid — Balance deduction due to their own management mistake

                              Dear Sir/Madam,
                              I don't know when did they activate a weekly subscrition on my mobile and cut Rs. 20/- on it's name. Then i contacted airtel customer care on around 2nd or 3rd june and they gave me a reference no. COVDE[protected]. I again contacted them on next day and they told me that they have removed such subscription from my mobile no. Now on 10th june again i got a message of balance deduction and found Rs 20/- deducted from my account.... What does it mean??? .... Please take some valid action against these activities because these activities decreases the trust of customers.

                                Around 2 years ago I purchased my WIFI Modem from AIRTEL, When I had bought the modem the person had told me that the modem was insured till I was a continuing customer with AIRTEL and that any problem pertaining to the modem (REPAIR OR REPLACEMENT) will be handled by AIRTEL.

                                Now apparently sometime in 2011 the changed their policy that my modem is only insured for 1 years from the date of purchase. Can they just change the policy like that without my approval ?
                                They are not even ready to provide me with the Policy to go over it. . .

                                They are offering me a list of centers to get my modem repaired BUT WHY SHOULD I BEAR THE COST ? The changes in Policy cannot be applicable to me, they have to remain as per the time the Modem was bought.

                                That Policy was the only reason I had bought the modem from AIRTEL else there are a lot of options out there. Now they are not wanting to take any responsibility.

                                One more thing apparently this MODEM (450TC1) has this common defect, as in its quite a normal that the WLAN light stops completely indicating a problem. I mean the repair guy just asked me the model number and asked me if the light was on or off and when I said OFF he said that that it was a common sight.

                                  The bill amount for the month of Nov 2012 is paid already.
                                  I have registered so many complaints since 23/Nov/2012 for non-working of the connection and no one has turned back to solve the issue. I have also sent many mails and complaints which is of no use.
                                  Even the internet was not working since 23/11/2012, i paid the bill till 5/Dec/2012 which includes no usage of internet for 12 days which Airtel should refund me.
                                  So by 27/11/2012 i have requested to cancel the connection which Airtel has not taken any action.

                                  Also

                                  1. No one came to rectify the issue after my complaint 23/11/2012.
                                  2. I have not got any letter / mail for any reminder like this email earlier. (This is not re-iterated reminder for the payment. This is the first mail i got after i sent several mails of Airtel disconnection.)
                                  3. I would like to face this issue legally with all my mail proof / complaint numbers that has been sent to Airtel customer care since 23/11/2012 and proceed further for compensation if needed.
                                  4. You can always request for the mail proofs / complaint numbers which i have sent to customer care since 23/11/2012.

                                  Airtel Broadband — Bill for the broadband connection

                                  Sir,
                                  This is to inform you that I have complianed against the discrpencies in airtel broad band bill for the connection [protected]. I have subscribed the antivirus of cost 85/- per month. But from the start of this financial year the charges were increased automatically from 85/- to 170/- for the month of March to Apr 2010. Further the charges were increased from 170/- to 255/- for the month of Apr-May 2010 without any information / intimation. I have raised the complain on 01-06-10 but till today I did not recieve any clarification for this increase in charges.

                                  Beacuse of no clarification for my complain I am unable to submit the bill. I also said this problem to airtel but still they did not expedite the procedure. I have also submitted the three reminders to them.

                                  I would be thankful if you suggest something for the same.

                                  i hve forwarded my request for discontinue my internet connection a/c no.15436484.which is received by airtel "executive and a request no 118658 is given to me......till date i had made several requests (request nos. are on airtel record) to disconnct the connection over wrong billing and unjustified penalty......your executives are contacting me and presenting childish version..yesterday they again contacted me on my cell no.                                       I tried to recharge my Airtel no [protected] through ICICI debit card from icici website for Rs.250 on 26th Jan 2013. The money got deducted instantly showing the payment was successful. But i didn't receive any message on my mobile and no value for the payment (Rs.250) i made. I tried several times to contact Airtel customer care, but not able to reach.
                                      Please initiate necessary action to refund my amount back.

                                      I HAVE CHANGED MY HELLOW TUNE ON 04.09.08 BY DOWNLOADING & PAYING RS.20 FROM TALKTIME.
                                      TODAY AIRTEL HAS DEDUCTED MONTHLY SUBSCRIPTION RS. 30 FROM TALKTIME.
                                      BUT SUDDENLY IN AFTERNOON THEY HAVE CHANGED MY HELLOW TUNE AND DEDUCTED RS. 15 FROM MY TALKTIME WITHOUT MY PERMISSION.

                                      I recharged my mobile no . [protected] on 10th oct 2010 for Rs 333 from the website rechargeitnow.com. The payment got deducted from my acc but the mobile no. did not get recharged. Even after so many complaints on the above mentioned website i did not receive any reply from them. I called up the airtel guys also but they said they did not receive any request to recharge this no. from the website. Now i want a expedite solution to this problem

                                      I have been recharged my cell no [protected] by Erecharge Mobile to Mobile Rs 30 on 17th April 2011 10.19 PM. but till today the no is not get talk time. The bill/Transaction ID no is 98422199. Airtel Service Provider.

                                        Dear Sir,

                                        Airtel is deducting money for activation o[censored]nnecessary services without prior notice/sms to the customers. This is a really fraud business and scam doing by airtel. And when we request the money refund customer care people are not responding properly and abruptly ending the phone call sometimes.Please take severe action against this kind of stupid trics played by airtel.
