I have been using the same airtel prepaid sim card for about seven years now, but last 3 months have been disasters for me, in the name of balance thefts, wrong booster offers, once sms booster for 30 days is paid for and activated, gets deactivated in seven days time. customer care cant be reached for some reason. im hating it now.

    My Name is P.Elumalai, I am having Airtel prepaid mobile#[protected]. I have activated GPRS long back & the same is not working properly for me.
    I tried to reach customer care many times. But, the IVR options are worst & they r not responding to me. My call getting disconnected from customercare before they answering me.
    But, my money was deducting frequently , But i am not using the services.
    Please take this complaint as priority & respond to me ASAP.

    Airtel Mobile Service — NOT RESPONDING TO COMPLAINTS

    The Concern,
    my mobile number is:[protected].,my name is Mukul Mukherjee, i have taken an airtel connection in the state of west bengal, for the past few days i have been entitled a model video pack with out my concent. i called up customer care for stopping this service as i did not want this, further i have sent messages also to stop this kind of services.

    But inspite of my efforts i was ignored, many a times i was told that this service will be closed down shortly, but no steps has been taken as of now, more over its really hurting and a sence of insult for me to call down the care centre and getting a response which is highly ill behaved.

    i hope this matter would be taken care shortly.

      Sorry to report about a disaster in service by Airtel.
      We have been using a landline with broadband in Gurgaon since last one year[protected].
      When we approached 121 on 22 Jan 2013 for disconnection on 29 Jan 2013, we were told that we will get a call back within 2 hours (Ref No[protected]. No calls so far
      When we reported in airtel website, we got acknowledgement LB[protected] dated 22 Jan saying that they will get back within two working days. It is already 5 days & still no reponse.
      It is rather unfortunate that such a big player like Airtel cares very little for individual customers.
      Overall, it has been a very painful experience for a simple disconnection of service.

      Our landline & broadband suddenly out of service since this morning 27 Jan 2013. NO CLUE ON WHAT IS GOING ON. There are no calls, no response & possibly no procedure for disconnection of service. Customers of airtel definitely deserves something better!

      Very disappointing and frustrating to interface with Airtel.

          Airtel Prepaid — money deducted

          money deducted from my balance and not reverting it back instead of calling me lot of time, giving new date each time.
          i am also holder of airtel prepaid account. and the observer of their frauds as well.

          the government of india should have to make laws for these tellecom companies to avoid such type of deductions of money from their account...
          dear manager.

          i am manish kumar, user of prepaid connection with your company( airtel ).my cell number is [protected], i have a message from number 4774 intimating that my missed calls alert service activated without my subscription or any request to airtel. and
          automatically 15 rupees deducted from my account from balance rs 2 to negative balance rs 13.

          its not the case of just RS 15 .its fact that company is having lakhs of connection and missusiing their accounts with these types of obligations.

          i have already complained to customer care but no any positive response acuted.

          i request you to please reimburrse my dues back...

          early response will be appriciated .
          I am having airtel prepaid card every month Rs.30/- get deducted. I have not opted for any caller tune still the amount gets deducted.

          Request you to check and pls reverse the amount back in my balance asap. Tried calling customer care very bad response someone picks the calls and gets disconnected.
          Lat day I got a message from 64611050 saying "Thanks for using unlimited pack service on airtel wap. You've been charged Rs. 50. I haven't used any service of Airtel's. Still they took 50 rs frm my account. When i called the customer care they said the details has been updated on their server and asked me to call after 4 days. They are not giving me a satisfactory response nor are they listening to me. My mobile numb is [protected] [chennai]. What shud i do.. PLease look into this

          i used GPRS on 16.07.09 and 19.06.09 rupees 20 pack.
          but after activation the Amount Rupees 40 deducted in my account.

          Airtel WAP Service — It is deducting money from recharge value

          Please deactivate the Airtel WAP service from my phone No. [protected]. It is unnecessarily deducting Rs. 20 and 10 which is a grave cheating.

          Airtel Prepaid — Balance deduction due to their own management mistake

          Dear Sir/Madam,
          I don't know when did they activate a weekly subscrition on my mobile and cut Rs. 20/- on it's name. Then i contacted airtel customer care on around 2nd or 3rd june and they gave me a reference no. COVDE[protected]. I again contacted them on next day and they told me that they have removed such subscription from my mobile no. Now on 10th june again i got a message of balance deduction and found Rs 20/- deducted from my account.... What does it mean??? .... Please take some valid action against these activities because these activities decreases the trust of customers.

            Around 2 years ago I purchased my WIFI Modem from AIRTEL, When I had bought the modem the person had told me that the modem was insured till I was a continuing customer with AIRTEL and that any problem pertaining to the modem (REPAIR OR REPLACEMENT) will be handled by AIRTEL.

            Now apparently sometime in 2011 the changed their policy that my modem is only insured for 1 years from the date of purchase. Can they just change the policy like that without my approval ?
            They are not even ready to provide me with the Policy to go over it. . .

            They are offering me a list of centers to get my modem repaired BUT WHY SHOULD I BEAR THE COST ? The changes in Policy cannot be applicable to me, they have to remain as per the time the Modem was bought.

            That Policy was the only reason I had bought the modem from AIRTEL else there are a lot of options out there. Now they are not wanting to take any responsibility.

            One more thing apparently this MODEM (450TC1) has this common defect, as in its quite a normal that the WLAN light stops completely indicating a problem. I mean the repair guy just asked me the model number and asked me if the light was on or off and when I said OFF he said that that it was a common sight.

              Hello Prabhu (Airtel team),

              The bill amount for the month of Nov 2012 is paid already.
              I have registered so many complaints since 23/Nov/2012 for non-working of the connection and no one has turned back to solve the issue. I have also sent many mails and complaints which is of no use.
              Even the internet was not working since 23/11/2012, i paid the bill till 5/Dec/2012 which includes no usage of internet for 12 days which Airtel should refund me.
              So by 27/11/2012 i have requested to cancel the connection which Airtel has not taken any action.

              Also

              1. No one came to rectify the issue after my complaint 23/11/2012.
              2. I have not got any letter / mail for any reminder like this email earlier. (This is not re-iterated reminder for the payment. This is the first mail i got after i sent several mails of Airtel disconnection.)
              3. I would like to face this issue legally with all my mail proof / complaint numbers that has been sent to Airtel customer care since 23/11/2012 and proceed further for compensation if needed.
              4. You can always request for the mail proofs / complaint numbers which i have sent to customer care since 23/11/2012.

              Airtel Broadband — Bill for the broadband connection

              Sir,
              This is to inform you that I have complianed against the discrpencies in airtel broad band bill for the connection [protected]. I have subscribed the antivirus of cost 85/- per month. But from the start of this financial year the charges were increased automatically from 85/- to 170/- for the month of March to Apr 2010. Further the charges were increased from 170/- to 255/- for the month of Apr-May 2010 without any information / intimation. I have raised the complain on 01-06-10 but till today I did not recieve any clarification for this increase in charges.

              Beacuse of no clarification for my complain I am unable to submit the bill. I also said this problem to airtel but still they did not expedite the procedure. I have also submitted the three reminders to them.

              I would be thankful if you suggest something for the same.

              Airtel Internet Connection — non receipt of regular bill

              i hve forwarded my request for discontinue my internet connection a/c no.15436484.which is received by airtel "executive and a request no 118658 is given to me......till date i had made several requests (request nos. are on airtel record) to disconnct the connection over wrong billing and unjustified penalty......your executives are contacting me and presenting childish version..yesterday they again contacted me on my cell no. [protected] and told me to pay a amount of Rs.900,as final sattlement, when i requested them to send an mail or sms in this regard.........your executive simply withdraw the sattlement by saying that he is not authorise to do so,. it is strange why your executives are using East India Company tactices .................pls be professional ! i just want to get rid of you people...................... o.k.

                  I tried to recharge my Airtel no [protected] through ICICI debit card from icici website for Rs.250 on 26th Jan 2013. The money got deducted instantly showing the payment was successful. But i didn't receive any message on my mobile and no value for the payment (Rs.250) i made. I tried several times to contact Airtel customer care, but not able to reach.

                  I recharged my mobile no . [protected] on 10th oct 2010 for Rs 333 from the website rechargeitnow.com. The payment got deducted from my acc but the mobile no. did not get recharged. Even after so many complaints on the above mentioned website i did not receive any reply from them. I called up the airtel guys also but they said they did not receive any request to recharge this no. from the website. Now i want a expedite solution to this problem

                      Yesterday i recived the following mssg from Airtel,
                      "You have been renewed for BOLLYWOOD GOSSIP subscription service from Airtel.You have been charged Rs.5.0"

                      And thus my Rs.5.0 was stolen by Airtel.
                      I don't know when I activated and they informed me about renewal of this service!!??!?

                      It was all without my cofirmation.

                      plz deactivate this servive ....!!

                      And if possible refund my money !!! :'

                                I have 3G dongle for airtel (No: [protected] Acct No: [protected]). I
                                have activated the RS. 450 (2GB) plan and got it changed to Rs. 645
                                (3GB). My bill for last month was Rs.1579.39. There are several things
                                that made me mad about your service not even a month into activating
                                it.

                                1. My number took ages to get activated when it did suddenly my phone
                                got changed without notice which delayed activation for 2 more days.

                                2. The sales man told me that i can change my plan any time in between
                                the month and when i did change the guy at the counter says i will be
                                billed on prorate basis which doesnot know how it works( except for
                                the name of it ) and does know how much of free GB i used.

                                3. No one ( your call center, at the service counter, sales man) have
                                any idea regarding how much my bill would be if i use it excess the
                                offered plan.

                                4. My number got deactivated and is still the case until now without any notice.

                                5. Finally i cannt reach you because i dont have a airtel number. ( I
                                called up atleast 10 times from other network everytime to land in
                                prepaid service center).

                                6. I got a call in office time to pay the money in 5 minutes to get my
                                account acivated. ( A lady told a guy will come and pick up the money
                                in 5 minutes time, when i told iam in office she replies the same "I
                                am in office too")

                                Now can any one take the pain of explaining me the bill or atleast
                                send the bill to me ( I didnt receive the bill yet). If it is only the
                                money you care about tell me when i need to pay ( as it is i am struck
                                with you guys buying the dongle). I think i have until 31st to pay the
                                bill.

                                Dont cheat customers explain that you need airtel number to get the
                                dongle and please explain the terms before the sale.

                                I never excepted this kind of service from Airtel atleast.

                                I have applied for 3g Airtel dongel on 31.05.2012 from Airtel vendor and he promised me to to gave it on 1.06.2012 but he did not gave it to me on time.
                                when i called him many times and messaged him to cancel thee order firstly he didn't picked thee phone .later on when i talk to him in person on 04.06.2012 he refuse to cancel thee order and refuses to return my money as well as my documents.
                                Then i launched a complaints on Airtel on 5the June ( complaint number[protected] , on 8the June i called Airtel customer care for knowing status of complaint ,i got an answer theat Airtel representative tried to call me but my phone was switched off, but my phone was always ON .Then later i launched anotheer complaint on 8the June ( complaint number[protected] again when i checked its status theen i got same reply theat Airtel representative tried to call me but my phone was again switched off,i don`t know how come it is possible ?My phone never gets switched off and i am getting calls all around thee world except Airtel.
                                Again i filed ane more complaint on 11.06.2012 ( Complaint number[protected] still i did not get any response from theeir side.

                                i lost money and suffering from mental Trauma from past 14 days.
                                I just need my money back and want to take serious action against thee Vendor for wrong commitment.

                                As you told me before that to contact nearest ARC with documents, when i went there they told me they can`t do anything & i have to ask money from that Vendor only.

                                if you can`t help me soon then i have to esclate this issue to WIPRO & there might be a result that WIPRO will kick your employee out of the campus and will not allowed any vendor from Airtel in future ahead.

                                i just hope i`ll get the resolution soon.

                                I have bought a 3g dongle of your co. But for last couple of months the connection is terminated automatically after a 30 min or 1hr session. I contact 121 and 198. There a customer care executive (!) takes my call and after hearing my problem he/she transfers the call to his senior, there one more time I have to brief my problem. After hearing he says that as he cannot do anything in this regard he is transferring the call to technical helpline. Here the fun begins. The phone rings and rings and rings. No one there to attend my call. Only a digital voice says that my call is very important to them and I have to wait. This game continues from last 30 days. I contact them again and again. The same happens time to time. I am a customer of airtel from 2008 (my earlier no. is [protected] where u can check my recharge amount) and till I use airtel dongle and I recharge plenty. Am I not eligible for your kind help?

                                  Dear Sir, I have a very big problem with bharti airtel. they are charging unfair amount every time in my bill. Every time they are charging amount by fake methods after that they will feel sorry and will give us discount in bill. I have four airtel postpaid mobile numbers. out of four, two have been ported to other operator. Now problem is that i have a number [protected] is under a cug plan Rs 100 rental. In which they are providing 500 local minutes & 200 Sms. both of the scheme mentioned above are not exceeded than limit. I have rs 98 internet plan and in this plan i have used only 600MB out of 1GB. So according to the plan my bill should be 100+98+service taxes. But they have charged me Rs 902. In actual they charged me Rs 990. Rs 88 is paid advance in last bill. In every bill i have faced these problems & due to this i have ported two of my numbers. I am also planning to port my other two numbers. And also i am planning to fire a case against bharti airtel for doing thses types o[censored]nfai things and also for wasting my time, disturbing me mentally. So i request you to look upon my case & resolve it.

                                  i am using AIRTEL mobile connection .the charge me illegally for caller tune services. i never apply for caller tune to airtel.but i got message that caller tune is activated in your sim and you have charged 30 rs for that after 10 minutes i got a message that your caller tune has changed to om jai jagdish hare. and for that you have charged rs 15.i never apply for caller tune and never apply for changing the caller tune to om jai jagdish hare.and i apply for 3g services .it should be started within 7 hours after the application and it is not yet started. when i am trying to talk with customer care executive they did not connect me for that i did try more than 5 times and i did not get connected yet. i want i should get my 45 rs back in my account.i also apply for a service in which no company can disturb you by advertising their products and their offers but this service is not yet applied .please tell me what should i do?

                                  Bharti Airtel — BILL CHARGES

                                  I am using Airtel Mobile([protected]) connection. My April bill month was Rs. 2480 in which WAP charges contribution was Rs. 2128. which was not used by me. I am continuously complaining about this to customer care, appellate officer and nodal officer and after complaining several time they are not solving my problem and now they did disconnect incoming and outgoing of my number . I am asking for my WAP charges detail from past one month and they did not take any steps towards of it. i did try several time to consumer care and No of mails to all authority of AIRTEL but did not get any solution so far i am helpless in tthis case.

                                    I own a postpaid mobile connection provided by airtel mobiles.
                                    My bill cycle is 23rd of jan and i decided to change my bill plan from this date only.
                                    My request is to convert my postpaid mobile plan to Infosys corporate plan I37 CUG 199 PLAN MH.
                                    Now I do not understand one thing that what is the relation between changing the plan and the bill payment.
                                    Please note that all my bills are paid before due date.
                                    when i tried to escalate the issue my calling the customer care, I was barred from connecting to the customer care agent?
                                    in reply to my mails, they always provide ambigious answers and not resolving my issue.
                                    I did not expect such kind of response from a reputed organisation. It's simple frustrating and i am into a mental stress from past 2 days due to this.

                                    Hi, I am Rohit Shukla I have pre paid connection of airtel no. [protected] and work in Britannia Ind. Ltd. I have serious cause of complaint. Your local agent here in Rudrapur Mr. Gautam is highly irresponsible in behavior.Twice my no. got disconnected irrespective of that I have submitted my ID proof. He doesn not pick the phone or help in any manner. Air tel is reputed company but some persons like this damaging your hard earned image.

                                    I was using the Airtel postpaid corporate connection which i got in Aug 2008 after submitting required proofs for almost 1.5 years.Later felt that the chargers very high and in order to retain the same number i moved to prepaid connection with Airtel for the same number again giving all the necessary documents.This prepaid connection i was using for the past 6 months and have recharged 6 times and had a balance of Rs.64.Suddenly on Wednesday evening i dint get any signal and instead i got a message that Sim registration Failed.When i called the customer care number they informed me that Your SIM is damaged and visit the nearest relationship centre and get a duplicate SIM paying Rs.35 and submitting the proof once again.When i visited the Service centre on Thursday,I was shocked to hear from them that my number has been blocked and i will not be able to get the same number once again and they were not able to give me any reason why it happened?.The way they treated me was irritating and as if they are the boss and i am there to get a service from them.I obtained the TamilNadu nodal officer number and called him on Friday.He was kind enough to talk politely and gave me a reason that Government is doing some audit and they randomly check the numbers and if there is no respond for any number they simply block the number.He promised me that it will not be a problem and i can get back my same number as a new connection.But when i visited the service centre once again the way they treated me was irritating once again and i decided to switch to another Service provider.
                                    Dear Sunil Mittal,
                                    I as a ex customer and as a share holder suggest you that please put the things at home properly before acquaring the other mobile operators.The only advantage you are having is the first one to move else with your pathetic service you would have lost the customers at a rate faster than the one you gain.

                                      I have taken the Air Tel post paid plan 5 months back. It was totally difference commitment from the agency
                                      when i took plan. Now its already 5 months passed and the bill amount is very much high equivalent to my prepaid uses. I have already told to the agency to deactivate my postpaid connection and activate my prepaid number. But there is no response from their side. So looking to the current scenario i am unable to keep the postpaid plan for longtime. So I request you to consider my application and give them instruction to deactivate my post paid plan and activate my prepaid number with immediate effect and also please transfer my security deposit amount of Rs.300 to my prepaid balance after deduction of your bill amount.

                                      Airtel Postpaid Connection — no connectivity since today morning

                                      We have post paid connections as carporate at least 20 connection with air tel service provider, but unfortunatly we did not get connectivity since morning .

                                      no body is tacking care ,c.care said that it will start with in 4 hrs since morning we dot know when it will be really start og Bhagwanbharose hi chalega.???????.

                                        I hope a necessary action/solution will be provided with regards to my complain posted here in your website.

                                        I have complaining Airtel customer care and made several mail complaints to nodal authorities to regarding the same. often i used face network issue in my mobile whenever i make calls i used to get disconnected. Frequent call drops. My office is situated in the heart of the city. and there is no proper network. If i raise a mail complaint then the only reply i get is we will revert with in 72 working hours. and they call once if not reachable or if not answered (may be we might held up in work) then not response thats all closed.

                                        They have become worst in service now and customer care is also one of the worst service.

                                        Airtel mobile service provider — "unsubscribe newsstand ipad

                                        I am the customer of pre paid mobile number [protected].

                                        I have been requesting to dis continue SMS news servises number of times. But this request is not acted up on and each week automatic renewal message charging me Rs 10 is received by the service provider - ie sms from 55382. My request to 55384 to dispense with services not acted up on. This is humiliating. Please advice the service provider to discontinue/unsubscribe the sms news services . regards
