I am customer of Bharti Airtel.I use the cug plan for govt officers.In last month company has rised the call rates without any previous intimation by call,sms or email.I came to know about the rise only after receiving the bill.after complaining to customer care they are not replying satisfactorily.With this attitude I feel cheated

    This complaint is being registered after nearly a month:
    The "tamil news pack" was activated automatically when i was searching in google on 25th dec2012 morning and i lost Rs.30 from my main balance; At that time i was in roaming. Also,i couldn't call 198 (customer care no.). Then i called chennai customer care no([protected]) from another mobile no([protected]) the next day. They told me that the news pack will be deactivated and the money will be refunded. But i didn't get the money back. So i called 198 on 31st dec 2012 and told the entire story to them; they also promised me to refund the money back; i trusted them and i left this issue and i tried to change from airtel to other network and sent 'portal message' to 1900; they called me and convinced me that they will definitely refund the money within 3 to 4 days; but they didn't;Then i called them again from another mobile no.([protected]) and told the tale again; they gave me their higher official number([protected]) but i couldn't get them on line; Again i called them on 11th jan 2013 and i got the same higher official number and i didn't reply them due to language problem; Then i called 198 'AGAIN' on 18th jan 2013; This time my call was diverted to their manager; Again i told him the entire story and he promised me as usual to refund it within 4 hours; but i didn't get the refund; I called '198' the very next day ;they told me a new story that they refunded my money and process got failed;then i asked them to link me to that manager;they asked me to wait for some moment and immediately ended the call;Within few seconds i called them and scold them with angry after telling the story again;
    So it is clear that they are making unwanted delay instead of satisfying the customer; i request (on behalf of many victims of issues like this) you to take necessary action

    Airtel Chennai — Subscribing money for unwanted links

    hi i ve been using airtel network for 5 years On jan 1st charges ve been deducted for me for certain links like Bestseller 15 rupees,driving fever 15 rupees and for tadka live 10 rupees.on 2nd i deactivated everything but on 5th they took charges for all the above.i gave a complaint the customer care executive said they deactivated but to go to santhome and give a complaint about it.how is it possible for a student to waste their time by moving there to give a complaint?then whats the use of customer care? again on 7th total of rupees thirty have been deducted from my account.i voiced my enquires to customer care Mr.Gokul credited the 30 rupees back to my account.He further gave me General Manager number.i called and spoke with Mr.J.Balachander,he again and again justifying their company mistake and not hearing to my words they're not ready to respond and not ready to credit my 40 rupees in my account because of the company's mistake i lost seventy rupees and got back only thirty rupees.just take necessary steps and raise voice against airtel.i got a referance num on 5-1-2011 that it has been deactivated and the no is CBDCC [protected].
    again on 6-1-2011 i got a msg that my reference number is COVWC [protected].i have given my reference number but no steps have been taken kindly take it as a serious issue.
    Complaint on Huge Bill Amount of airtel Postpaid Connection,

    As I was using the Airtel Postpaid connection since last 3 years, My number was [protected], and all was working well, no due, no complaint, however in dec 2012, they have raised my bill amount to 35000/-, without any intimation to me that your bill has been exceeded at your credit limit, as my phone bill credit limit was 2500/-, as I had activated 2G plan of 4 GB download in 249/- p.m. after that they sent me only one message that i have till now, that your mobile bill amount has been 48000/- and please pay at the earliest, .
    so here my concern is if my phone credit limit was set to 2500/- then how did they allowed to increase the amount to 48000/-, and why didn't they informed or message to me that your credit limit has been exceeded,
    then why i got the message that your bill has been reached at 48000/- then i called to customer care and asked me why my bill has been increased so much, & why didn't u not inform me, then they didn't reply on it, and next day in the night suddenly they stopped my outgoing call, without any intimation to me, then again i called to customer care, so they was telling that you have to pay your outstanding bill,
    I requested and called to customer care so many times to start my outgoing but they didn't start the outgoing, , then after couple of days they disconnect/block the Sim.one more thing which I had checked in my bill details, that if i activated 2G internet Plan then how come they charged the amount at the 3G, which is showing in the BIll.
    Hence I request to you to sort this issue.

        i cant reach the customer service centre for complaints, i have activated gprs 2g plan 124 on the date[protected] and yet my balance is getting short, they are taking my money when i get a customer care man last day he gave me 29 rupees back and he said that i have the gprs offer bt after that when i wake up in the morning i just lost 59 rs balance from my mobile wats the heck is happening atleast please arrange me a person to talk, or just get out of kerala i[censored] dnt have the responsibilty

        Airtel — Cannot get Internet

        i cant get the internet connection for the last one and half weeks. i took the internet connection for one year and i cant use it for the past 2 weeks.When i call them they will tell it will be corrected after 8 hours but i cant get it. i will get the connection once in 200 times.

                I need the Corporate bill plan to be changed, for this I requested to the Customer care executive to get the procedure information. After doing the one to one conversation with the executive. He said that I need the NOC form both the companies to change the bill plans. However the I am the payer of the Bill amount. Is there any kind of rules and regulations are provided by the Telecoms Regulatory Authority of India.?                   We applied for a new connection through your customer relationship form number DLPA-027864.
                  Also we paid Rs.300/- cash along with this form to Mr. Hemant Kumar ([protected])
                  The SIMM No.[protected] & Mobile No. [protected] allotted by him is still not working.
                  Ms. Arti available on number [protected] misbehaved be badly.
                  I contacted many times to the concern in-charge Mr. Lokesh ([protected]), as he promised we failed to get credit of Rs.300/- to my regular Airtel mobile till now.

                  All above Mr. Hemant, Ms. Arti, Mr. Lokesh are related to the office:

                  I am harassed because of the attitude showing by your authorized agent / staff, they cheated me for Rs.300/-.

                      Iam Naresh. N living at No:1/17,alex street,ullagaram, Chennai-91.Last year November month i gave Rs.1100 to airtel Broadband connection dealer (N. Dinesh) and in reply he filled Airtel Broadband connection forum and gave it to me.Even after one month i doesn't receive any connection.so, i contact Airtel customer care No.[protected].Even i follow through customer care i doesn't receive any positive actions, so,i cancelled my connection and i request to repay my amount Rs.1100 through customer care,they accept it and they request me to wait for 21 days and after that they assure me, you will receive that amount through courier. After waiting 21 days i again call customer care they said me that "your cancellation is not updated in our system now only i updating sir so, please again wait for another 21 days". What i can do i totally upset & angry.By calling that airtel customer care itself i lost more than Rs.100.I payed at November and since i doesn't receive any amount. Please help me what can i do?

                        my airtel no is[protected] . i have received bill through email bill no[protected] . in this bill there is improper discount in gsm and airtel calls. totalabout 595 calls done and discount is 500 so only 95 calls @ 50 p extra chages are 42.5 rs but about 100 rs extra charges are included in the bill plz clear it

                            Even after repeated complaints, Airtel continue to harass Consumers with calls from person referrinf themselves as Advocates.

                            Everytime the person seem to utter same Dialogue, which is, "I am <Name> and and Advocate. I am standing in Delhi high Court outside Magistrate's office. Please pay the balance or I will forward your case to Magistrate then you will have to pay <amount is whatever he thinks will terrorised me, last time it was Rs.21000>. Also you will have to appear in front of Magistrate in Delhi with 2 persons for bailing me out.

                            It has been many time said and posted on this portal that I have not availed the services, instead were forced onto me. I never knew that the services were active untill the Company started billing me for this and started giving such threatening calls.

                            I would not like to request this time, but would like to tell Company that I will not succumb to such activities. So please stop harrasing customers which are genuinely true.

                            Despite the DND service activated on my mobile no., i receive the regular messages &amp;amp; calls from the airtel company regarding their offers &amp;amp; all. Even after a lot of complaints being filed for this harrasment in the customer care.the messages &amp;amp; calls are not stopping.I am getting mentally harassed by their calls &amp;amp; messages &amp;amp; coudnt find a way to stop this.

                              AirTel — FAILURE IN RESPONSE

                              Dear Sir,

                              Regarding disconection of airtel service since last two days for the [protected]. Still my connection is not active and at the time of incoming /and outgoing call to call this number call the msg. replied is "THIS IS NOT A VALID NUMBER". I spoken to customer care. there is no response.

                              Pleae do the needful.

                              Airtel Prepaid — inconvenience after registration

                              Respected sir,
                              with great regret i would like to state being a member of the airtel family i am greatly depressd by your customer care service. On 10 October 2010, my connection of number [protected] had been disconnected on account of not registering my number. on 11th October I deposited the airtel application form and the other necessities. they told me the line would be activated within a short period. when it was not done so i reported to 121. they also told me that the line would be activated within an hour, but it never happened. i have called twice after that but have met with only false promises. I being a senior citizen consider this harrasment as an insult, not to mention a great distreess for me and my family. this type of management is shameful from the part of airtel leading to a loss of credibillity and goodwill. i hope that you would address my grievance.

                                I have made bill of rs 273 on airtel showroom at samrala on 1st Jan 2013
                                vide airtel receipt no 14146518 dated 01.01.2013 vide transaction id no
                                62716028.Till now the payment has not been updated in my account.
                                I ad port out my no to bsnl and they have stooped incoming and outgoing of my
                                no due to outstanding amount i had not paid to Airtel.
                                My no. is off last 5 days.Need to continue its service from Airtel side with
                                immediate effect.I am regularly following up with Airtel's samrala executive she is such a manner
                                less girl/she don't know how to speak to customer.
                                She directly says she is not bothered to same.Disconnect my calls manner less
                                way and when i visited there she refused to take any responsibilities.Her no is
                                [protected] and [protected]. What the hell she is doing there if she can't help
                                customer?Why should i and my business suffer ? I need written apologies from
                                her and call from her regarding her rude behavior.
                                I am regularly calling at 121 since last 20 days regarding this problem,non
                                o[censored]r executive taking it serious.Even today Ms.poonam just told system is
                                down.may i know why all the time your systems are down.Who is responsible for
                                service.Should i c the way to complaint legally.My premium no is not in

                                  I have been a customer of Airtel for more than 4yrs and I have never defaulted any payment or was there any case of late payment from my end. However in May 2012 I was unhappy about broadband service quality and decided to cancel the broadband connection. I am listing the sequence of events in bullet points below

                                  • In June 2012 I called the customer service and asked for cancellation of broadband service. They mentioned it will take 7days for the cancellation to happen. They started calling us and giving us other offers with reduced prices and begged us to continue with airtel. I clearly stated that for the next 3 months I would be out of station as well and don’t intend to have any connection till then. Incase I decide to have it later I would call them.
                                  • Every month I started receiving fresh bills for services that was never there and never availed by me.
                                  • I started receiving calls (from July to Sep) asking me to go for other plans though I was not interested and mentioned the same very clearly. I also told them that I had just delivered a baby and not to harass me by calling me everytime for such things. But the calls never stopped. All through my delivery and maternity they harassed me with such calls and the bills never stopped coming till September 2012.
                                  • After this another game started. Calls were for collection department for payment. Sometimes they would even threaten over calls. Everytime someone called we used to patiently explain to them on what had happened and the answer used to be “we will get back to you” or “someone will call you”. Never did anyone call to settle this issue but always they used to ask us to pay atleast Rs3000 or atleast Rs2000 and finally they came to Rs1000. Meanwhile I also received legal notices.
                                  • I mentioned that I will pay Rs1000(which is my bill amount for the month of May) and would want this to be settled but however I would like to receive a statement first with that amount and that once I pay the same the account would be settled.
                                  • I have mailed them over and over again about my problems. Till date I haven’t received a single reply. But the calls continue to pour.

                                  I need an end to this problem. I have a very small baby and cant afford to run around their offices to clear this. Please intervene and get an end to this issue.

                                    I would like to introduce myself as Deepak G. Ojha. I am using Airtel postpaid services since 2 years. In month of December 2012 I had activated 3G services on Airtel under the plan ‘Rs.100 for 300mb’ which should be used within 1 month from the date of activation. I deactivated this service within 5 days and my total usage was 159mb. On receiving the bill for the month of December 2012 I observed that I have been charged Rs. 494.37 for 3G and 2G services usage, while i activated only 3G. Immediately on contacting Airtel customer care for this discrepancy in billing I was told that certain limit has been laid down for each day use and if its exceed that limit extra charge will be imposed. This thing has not been explained while activating . This indicates if customer pay for 300mb data and do not use full 300mb still Airtel will charge extra amount. This intricacy of the plan is never explained to customer while buying the plan. It is made to believe the plan is ‘Rs.100 for 300mb’ for the duration of 1 month.
                                    On repeated calls to customer care and written complaint of the same no one has cared to provide any satisfactory explanation for this discrepancy and after sometime they refused to accept the calls.
                                    I would like to Airtel to take note of this complaint and repayment of the undue charges on immediate basis.

                                    Airtel — Extra Undue Charges

                                    Airtel has levied undue charges in the last month's billing cycle of this mobile no. [protected] which is used by me.
                                    They have charged me a cumulative of Rs. 370 on 4th May 2011 itself on the basis of some usage of Value Added Services(VAS), the details of which have been included in the attachments(encircled with red). When asked on their customer care, they assured me that it must have been a billing error which will be rectified subsequently but no such corrections had been made in the bill.
                                    I strongly deny any such usage of internet because my semester exams were going on from 2nd May to 6th May and I hardly used my mobile, may be for a few minutes but not for 70 continuous minutes as shown in the attached photo.

                                    Please kindly look into the matter as soon as possible.

                                        Hi,

                                        My Airtel 3G postpaid data card number is [protected].

                                        My credit limit is Rs. 2000 and my current billing plan is Rs. 750 / month.

                                        Last month I got a bill of Rs. 4500 and this month I got a bill of Rs. 986 making the outstanding payment Rs. 5597.

                                        I tried approaching Airtel customer care about why I got a bill of Rs. 5597 when my credit limit is clearly Rs. 2000! I have not heard any solution except for "My apologies for the trouble".

                                        DEAR AIRTEL - I DON'T NEED APOLOGIES. I WANT RESOLUTION OF THE ISSUE.

                                        I want to clear the payment and cancel the account at once. If anyone from Airtel customer support really care about customer issues, please respond.
