Dear Sir,

I would like to inform you about the pathetic service by Airtel and one of it's relationship center in Bangalore..
I had submitted application for re-activation of my postpaid connection on 4th of November 2012. The Airtel outlet person (Mr. Yogesh) promised that it would be activated within 24 hours and collected the required documents along with Rs 500. Till date the connection hasn't been activated.
I have contacted the relationship center person four times till now, every time he promises to get the connection activated within 24 to 48 hrs and gives lame excuses for not getting the job done.
I have written the issue to the nodal officer as well, even they haven't sorted out the issue.
I am fed up of their tardy and un-professional service, I kindly request you to look into this asap.

Still the issue hasn't been resolved, can you please specify when exactly the connection will be activated. If this can't be done kindly refund the amount charged by your representatives.

      I've been using Airtel for past 4-5yrs. I've been deducted balance manytimes by airtel telling i ve activated some services. Today morning,they deducted Rs.30/- tellin i hav actived MEET N GREET abt which i hav no idea. If this continues,i ve no other option but to switch network. Pls do d needy work n return my balance

            I Dr.Manish C. Paranjape Mobile No.- [protected]
            I had contacted Airtel Customer Service on 8th November 2012 for 3G settings for my handset. I asked them the charges for the same. They told me that activation is free of cost and charged only when i use a 3G Data Plan. I said " Ok " only for the settings.But without my consent they billed me for Rs.252INR. When i tried to contact them they took my complaint orally and didn't give me a complaint no. When i insisted they told me that my call will be transferred to the " Senior " , but the call never went further and only " Ringing Sound " was there for 10-15min.This same sequence happened for 6 times in the last 2 days
            and I was charged for the same ,even for the call & waiting period of 15 to 20 minutes.
            finally I am fed up with the response and service and losing Rs.252 + 25 (call waiting charges)
            I also tried to call from my second airtel No. but the response was same. and my mobile network die out temporarily from the same day.
            please guide me what to do ?

            As per my complaint dated 10 November 2012. I have been waiting for my amount to be refunded but it seems similar to the "waiting on-line " for the response from the customer service, except for the " Common Response " posted on my complaint by Bharati Airtel. I have neither subscribed for any 3G Data Plan nor wish to subscribe in the near future. Bharati Airtel has taken advantage of my balance that was Rs500+ and i fear they might automatically bill me.

            I also want to know that whether the consumer has a right to claim damage/charges for the Professional Loss (Network Failure/No Service leading to zero communication with my patients) and Mental Harassment caused for the same.

            Please look into the matter and suggest me further action that can be initiated and also any help from the Forum for further action.

              Hi

              I am having airtel postpaid number [protected] since more then 2 years, and using the GPRS Rs. 98/- plan in this number,

              When I got the last months bill, I found that without my consent the GPRS plan has been changed to 3G plan and I have been extra billed for that, I immediately asked to stop this service excess bill rectification, I got a call from airtel that your bill will be rectified in 12 hrs and update you on SMS and mail.

              I have not received any updates from airtel till now on my complaint ID 46660154 and now today my number has been suspended for non payment of the bill without any information .


              Can you look in to this issue immediately, and let me know the updates ASAP

                Hi,

                I am the subscriber of Airtel, whose no.[protected], it is an lifetime SIM upto 2011, now its SIM card registration failed, not existing in the Airtel service. Earlier i submitted the all documents to obtain SIM as per their guidelines, When i contacted to Airtel relationship centre regarding my problem, i got ... your phone no. deleted from the system, no chances to recover.

                Then i asked the reason, they have no answers.

                AirTel — Deleted my number!

                I had a prepaid sim card from Airtel that I have been using for last 2.5 years, 3 days back my cell phone started displaying "Sim card registration failed". I went to the Airtel office in Pune and asked for the reason and they told me to call help desk number. When enquired they told me that your sim card has been deleted from there system and when asked why they had no clue. Then as usual they said that address documents were not submitted to whic I know in the last 2.5 years at-least 4-5 times they have taken address proof from me!
                This is really disgusting as I had recharged the sim card with Rs. 500 just a week back.

But It's Showing Wrong charge from side. that is I do not have use Mobile gprs net never but showing charger from your side. And Your Airtel web-world boys says 750 local minute free for 1 month always but it's not showing from your side my airtel bill is total wrong.that is not good for me.                             Airtel 2G Internet speed continuously decrease now a days. It gives below 10 kbps speed to mobile internet user on many area of India and in our region also while telecom copany like tata docomo gives maximum 40/50 kbps data speed. While discussing with Customer care it argues that they provide 30/40 kbps speed but it is not real.
                            Airtel is now become largest telecom company it should increase its data speed so that internet user get more benefited.

                              I have not been able to receive signal at my office in chandni chowk,because of which I have not been able to make or receive any call. My no.is about 9 years old,all my customer has this no.My business is suffering because of this. Two years before also such problem occurs and after many complaints the problem could be resolved.I have complained on[protected] for this via complaint no.46265354 .Again I complained on[protected].
                              so please do the needful.
                              I am an Airtel DTH customer. For the last 3 days I have not been getting TY signals. the error code is B 001.I contacted the Customer care centre which in formed that the issue would be resolved within 6 hours. It has not been resolved.
                              Yesterday I received a fake SMS from Airtel informing me that the issue was resolved. It was not.
                              A technician came to my home. He inspected something and told me that he would come back within an hour, but disappeared forever. i contacted over the local cell number of service centre. They informed that my dish was moved by one of their engineers while doing repairs of some other customer.They did not inform me the name of the engineer who without even informing me had touched the dish provided to me, which has caused the problem.
                              The Airtel DTH continues to charge me even for the days the service is not available.We are at their mercy, aren't we?

                                HI I am Gaurav Kumar, this complaint is regarding airtel customer care and their services on 25/10/2012 i had given a written request along with id proof to disconnect one of airtel number used by my wife i.e. [protected] at airtel collection center (sector-40,Chandigarh)as i had already clear all the dues and the last payment i had made is of rs 225/- the receipt no is[protected] on[protected] and this assurance is given to me by that vendor that you will receive a call from airtel retention department regarding the same disconnection.On[protected] i received a call from a lady.As she told me that she is calling from retention department and she listen all my complaint and finally on her request that you are one of our old customer and give us a last chance i agreed to migrate my wife postpaid number to a prepaid number and she assured me that on[protected] an executive come to house and collect all the necessary documents regarding conversion of number i.e(from postpaid to prepaid)but on[protected] its a holiday so i was expecting him to come next day but since now my request is pending not my number converted into prepaid and i am bearing the rent for the same number.please help me out ... thanks

                                  on[protected] i reinstalled my DTH connection at new address. After installing the settop box was not showing sufficient signal level and quality, i told the service engineer Mr. Tinku mobile no. [protected] to get the signal quality improved. he told me that there may be weather problem, everything would be alright, and he may be contacted for any problem, if occurs. from the very next day the signal quality deteriorated. i called him so many times but he didnt respond.

                                  since i was bust with my shifting, finally on[protected] i formally complained at cutsomer care vide complaint no.25664194. on[protected] the engineer came and concluded that the dish location is not correct and would be reinstalled. he told me that he has already informed his office and the same person would rectify the problem who has earlier installed.
                                  i waited for full[protected] and[protected] no body turn up. on[protected] i again complained at CC vide complain no. 25731452. today its[protected] more than 8 days. my dish problem is not yet solved. EVERYTIME I COMPLAIN, A NEW COMPLAIN NO WITH 24 HRS TIME IS GIVEN
                                  THESE ARE MY VARIOUS COMPLAIN NOS I HAVE DONE VIDE EMAIL/ CC ETC 25664194,
                                  25731452, 25792568, 25813751, 25814735, 25815215, 25850329.
                                  digital guys call for feedback only and i tell them the whole problem everytime i have told 100times the same thing to 50s customer person. everytime i call on their cc no.[protected] i had to wait for more than 30min with repeated call drops. calling to their so called senior executives is no vain.
                                  ONE MORE THING, AIRTEL DIGITAL ARE CHEATERS THEY FRAUDULENTLY CHANGED MY ADDRESS IN THEIR SYSTEM ON[protected] SO THAT THEY CAN MAKE EXCUSES THAT MY ADDRESS IS WRONG. HOW CAN MY ADDRESS GET CHANGED IN 5 DAYS OF REINSTALLATION ONLY?
                                  I AM FED UP WITH AIRTEL. AIRTEL SERVICE IS WORST I HAVE EVER SEEN. IM DISCONNECTING MY DTH AND HAS ALSO APPLIED FOR PORTING OF MY AIRTEL MOBILE.

                                  UNFORTUNATELY THERE IS NO EFFECTIVE AND TIMELY CONSUMER COURT IN INDIA OTHERWISE I WOULD HAVE SUED THEM.

                                  Airtel mobile phone signal — many times informed to rectify

                                  We are residents of APSEB colony . This street is located in between Alluri Sita Ramaraju statue & Siridisai temple Seethammadhara. People living in all apartments vizually Saijyostna towers, Saisruthi apartments are suffering from very weak or no siggnal of airtel mobiles in side houses. Many important distant calls ISD & STD calls we are loosing. The System answers to the calling party Not reachable. To Make a phone call, we have to come out of the houses and speak loud. This lacks privacy and disturbing the neighbours.
                                  Pertaining to this many a complaints were given in the retail outlets while making recharge of airtel mobiles. No action is being taken up. Since we gave this number to all our concern and job records, we cannot change the sim of other available mobile companies. Hence Airtel techinal department may please take necessary
                                  action and rectify/ strengthen the signal around this area to ratify this kind of situation.

                                  I your customer for a long period. I contact your customer care unit regarding a number enquiry. as from that number I am receiving miss calls daily on repeat When I call back, the call cannot be connected message. I want to who is disturbing me.If can help then please do it. The number is +[protected]
                                  very pathetic and pitiable to hear your grievance. s as u say dese c.care guys has a technique to drain all ur energy by making u tel the whole story 100 times 2 n-number of persons and mnake urself vexed and repelsive of calling dem again. this is their strategy. write 2 deir c.care mail-id and resend until u get reply mail. and with those copies u can file case in consumer-court.
                                  im repeatedly emailing but everytime the same reply we are looking into your problem and will revert back. butENOUGH IS ENOUGH I VE DECIDED TO SWITCH TO TATA SKY. THERE CC SEEMS BETTER.. I HAVE ALREADY PORTED BY AIRTEL MOBILE TO VODAFONE.

                                    In this bigger world comes small by technology, but in airtel....... not following....

                                      Hi Sir,

                                      I am Airtel Digital TV customer. i am using the Airtel TV for the past 2 years, and now i am having problem with Setup box, and for this i have been calling them for the past 15 days. they are not giving the prompt details and not giving the proper commitment. like when i called them they will give me the resolve date for the next date, and the same happening for the past 5 days, and i paying the money simply without viewing the TV. The Airtel people is taking the money only and not serving to the customers. i am mentally effected with the issue and spending money for this.

                                      Please help me on this issue.

                                        The interface for buying smartbytes(extra high-speed download bytes) doesn't ask for any confirmation before submitting my request, which leads to me placing an unnecessary request. Airtel customer representative says airtel doesnt provide option to cancel the request. I regret being a postpaid customer of airtel, they can bill me at their will.
