I faced a very bad circumstance with Bharti Airtel. I bought an airtel 3G plan for my instrument which did not work even 2 days.
I took my instrument to the airtel gallery and showed them that their plan was not working. The associate named Ranbir in Chembur gallery told me that he will cancel my number. Inspite of me calling multiple times on 198 and 121 to check my cancellation status they refused to take my request saying they could not cancel postpaid accounts when called at these numbers.
Ranbir assured me that he would take care of this, inspite all these issues i paid the first bill. Further three more bills were generated for which i was asked to not to pay the bill by this associate.

When my case took no direction, I called the highest escalation officer Mr.Vijay from Airtel , had a 40 minute conference call with him and his seniors and associate named Ranbir, finally they instructed me not to pay any money and my case would be taken care by him.
A month passed and today an advocate named Mr. Tarun called me to pay this bill as a case was registered against me and assured me that he would send me an email back with confirmation that this amount would be refunded to me as this case was registered in error. I paid the complete amount and thereafter informed him and received no email back from Mr.Tarun.

I was cheated by the complete Airtel department. I need assistance from Consumer Complaint forum to help me resolve this fight for right.

AirTel — Bharti Airtel Cheated me...

Sir,
my name is sunil, i was having postpaid connection of airtel bearring mobile number:[protected]. this is corparate card by which i can access unlimited internet by 199 rental.
on 17-feb i called in customer care to activate this plan and by mistake he activated 99 rental plan where 2gb is free. i called in airtel customer care again for this plan but they told they dont know about this plan i told him that all my office friends are using then he replied that he had no idea of that.then i though it is 2 gb is also more than enough for me but i proved my self wrong my bill came on 4th of march is 33000 and after reducing that 2 gb free access they charged me 16980 rupees.my bill period is 17 feb to 3 march.only 14 days how one can use that much of internet that to with 2g speed.
1)when my credit limit is 1200, then why dont they given me any intimation that my usage is exceeding my credit limit.
2)Sir there is no transpereancy in postpaid their intention is to cheat by some how because as we can check our daily internet usage by simply calling on *123*6# in prepaid, why dont in postpaid.customer must have rights to know atleast how much he has used.
3)Sir when company has given me only 2 gb access then after complition of that they shoud send some intimation or msg that my free usage has over after that i will be charged so and so.....
4)After all this airtel recovery boy came to my home when i was not in home harassed my family member asked my brother for to give atleast one security check which he will not going to deposit as it is just for security
and he himself in order to take my brother in confidence, he himself asked my brother to give cheque having closed account or having no funds as he is not going to deposit it,and then my brother had given cheque having no fund,when i come to home i called recovery boy that dont deposit that cheque and returned me then again he said no that cheque has no meaning it just as security which he will never going to deposit.(I have recorded this communication on my mobile as evidence).after few days i recevied one notice of sec.138 due to insufficient fund by thier advocate sir, what should i do now i dont know that much about law and i dont have that much amount to pay that too i dint use that much internet i asked almost 100 persons whoever using internet they saying it logically impossible to use more that 2 gb in 13 to 15 days with 2g speed. They should atlest inform me that my usage has exceeded over 2gb or they should abort my service after I have exceeded.Sir I have no intention and have no meaning to use cheap thing in huge cost…..

Airtel — Wrong instrument

This is regarding my airtel landline [protected]. Yesterday I locked a request (no.[protected] for beetel x62 cordless phone. I got three calls for confirmation that which instrument I want. I clearly mentioned them that I want beetel x62. But the person visited my home had installed x64. I checked the box, after he left my place. I submitted a complaint(no.[protected] in which the customer care person told me that is has been resolved. So, i have to open a new request. They are continuously closing my complaint without even visiting & fooling people with the wrong instrument. Kindly look into the matter,

Whenever I post a complaint to www.airtel.in/airtelpresence it says that my #G plan that I bought is Invalid . The 3G plan no. is [protected]
Inspite of constant calls to Nodal officers, nobody at airtel is helping for chaeting that happened by their associates. After writing on this Consumer Forum that they would help, seems like it was just a statement to cover themselves nothing more.
Inspite of so much follow up, the behaviour of Airtel associates have not changed.
They have denied to help me with this case. In fact they hang up calls when I discuss with them my case. They are not ready to take any action against their unfair officers and the mental trauma they have given me during this process.
I would like to bring to each one's notice that Airtel has generated a wrong wrong and troubled me with threatening phone calls for incorrect recovery.
Please beware of them.Inspite of writing these posts on Consumer Forum, Airtel associates just do write back that we will reach you, but they do not call you and help you.

    On[protected], I had recharged my Airtel mobile after checking up with the Airtel's website (airtel.in) for top up of Rs.300. The offer was given clearly, for Full Talk time of Rs.300.

    But I received like this: Talktime: Rs.264, Processing Fee: Rs.3, Service Tax: Rs.37.08

    I had complaint this to the Airtel Customer Care on 24th (Complaint No: CBNRA[protected]), they said, I will get it resolved by 4.00PM of 26th October 2012. But No update till 28th October 2012.

    Again I had called to Airtel Customer Care on 28th (Complaint No: CBNRA[protected]), this time also the person said you will receive the full amount by 4.00PM of 29th October.

    NO RESPONSE till 3 November 2012. Finally I've received a text message saying "We tried reaching you regarding CBNRA[protected]; but could not contact you...!!!

    I'm totally confused to get it resolved and regain the loss of Rs.36.

    I personally suggest Bharthi Airtel to alter/ remove this tagline from your signature...

    "Connect with us 24X7 and we will be happy to assist you with a swift resolution to your queries on all our products and services"


    Frankly telling, this tagline will not suits your company's quality.

    Whether the people are mad to just keep on calling to your call centre for those they are not getting remedies for a long time? Who bare the customers loss of time?

    Anyhow, thanks for the concern taking at least by looking at this complaint!(I guess, you prefer the external complaint boxes rather the internal one?)

    I'll wait few more days, if any result may happen with your effort.

      Postpaid to prepaid migration

      I lost my airtel post-paid SIM card almost 3 months ago, but unfortunately I couldn’t realize that as I was out of station.

      So once realized I planned to convert it to prepaid, and I went to airtel office (Indiranaga, Bangalore) on 20-Oct-2012.

      Caller said i am speaking from Airtel Call Center Indore & you got Prize of Rs.300000/- & a Pulsar Bike, i was ask him what is your requirement for it he told me your A/c No. when i ask him Rs.300000/- you give me cash or cheque then he disconnect the call.

      when i was call this no after some time the no is swiched off.I was traced the no, this nos location is UP West.

      I request to you please trace the no.& take legal action.

        Dear Sir,

        I am existing Customer Number# [protected], it is really frustrating experience with Airtel DTH , after relocating I requested for reinstallation of connection.

        Nobody came to my apartment , after making 100 calls to Airtel DTH customer care, they made many commitment every day, but nobody has visited apartment for reinstallation. I feel it is local Dish vendor is not allowing enginners to visit the community for reinstallation.

        I have spoken with Mr. Midhun and Mr. Vinod, no positive sign for customer service. The senior customer service person was very happy to hear that I would like to cancel connection, not sure that's how airtel would like to operate.

        The reinstallation request details are as following : 25750265.

        The cancellation request number is: 25837482

        Finally I decided to cancel this connection, but not happy the behavior and service provided by Airtel DTH.

        Airtel DTH — Re Installation Not Done

        Hi,
        We have shifted our house from Choolaimedu -94 to Taramani - 113 and have requested for a re installation of the Airtel DTH connection (Customer ID: [protected]). We have called multiple times and each time we get an answer that the installation would be done by today afternoon, and if we call in the afternoon, we get the reply, by 5:30 PM. I really cannot understand your problem and fed up of the hallow promises given through customer care. To top it all once they have even closed the complaint that we lodged stating that the issue has been addressed. Until now no one has contacted us. This is going on for the past 10 days.

        After seeing Airtels response in few of the complaints, I m hoping that some one would address this issue and still have a little bit of faith.

        DTH — Reinstallation

        Recently I moved from Bangalore to Hyderabad. Hence, I got my Airtel DTH connection transferred to my new residence. I had logged a request to re-install it to my new residential address. But the company has failed to do that in more than 2 weeks time.
        My first complaint was logged on Fri 10062011. It was done both online and call to customer rep. Since then I have made about 12 calls. Every time I speak to an agent they give me a new time and date for the engineer to install the connection. Moreover I had recharged my account and it is getting debited for daily usage, for a service which I am not using.
        The company is insensitive towards its customers. Hence I would advise all you guys not to go with AIRTEL DTH connection.

          Hi,

          I have lodged one complain to Airtel in regard to their Internet/fixed line services on 7am of 2nd Nov’12
          And the corresponding service request No is 24226714, for which the maximum resolution time is showing as 04-NOV-2012 02:15 PM. Even I called several times to the toll free No but no genuine response and I literally doubt if they intentionally disconnect the calls if they were unable to answer.
          But regrettable no one have turned to fix the issue and also no one have least bothered to call on time. After the above committed time, I have sent many reminder emails and follow-ups. But Airtel is extremely shameless as use all. There is nothing much to wonder on this.
          Airtel never provides any responsive support to their customers. It’s my own experience since the day I have chosen Airtel as my Internet service providers i.e. in last 6-7 months. It’s an absolute blunder to choose Airtel service. I believe they treat customer problems as they are doing any sympathy/empathy.
          However they are very punctual in generating bills on time and sending several reminders (email & sms) for the same. Even after you pay the bill (at least a week later you will still receive reminders for it)
          As compared to other Internet providers in market, Airtel charges little more & there is no second thought on this. Even though they fails to offer an adequate service to their customers who never forget to pay the bill on or before due date. So why don’t Airtel use their commonsense to maintain the promise. As per my personal experience all the commitments/statements which they offer are absolutely phony/fake. Why we have to run behind this uselesss Airtel, for ongoing support, even after paying hard earn money, without fail.
          How this people get courage to run such fake company in a public market by taking the money by providing nothing. In addition to that they increase the level of frustration of customers which makes an severe impact on their professional and well as personal life. And also the purpose for which they have opted for this service is not getting fulfilled at end of the day.
          How we can spread such awareness campaign to public to keep away from such fake/painful service providers. And allow other not to face such things which we have already experienced by paying our hard earn money. Also we have already ran from pillar to post, asking for the help in defected/interrupted service. Called up several times to Airtel care & also personally felt the pain on vain, But got nothing at end of the day. Still I don’t know where to go and whom to tell & what to do 

            My grievances are as below:
            1. They had blocked my customer care toll free number and 121 number too. I'm unable to contact them if any problem arises.
            2.They deduct charges for various schemes, which even i haven't activated, they by self activated and in telling argue.
            3.i have recently activated my MSG pack, then also my charges are deducted when i MSG.

            SIR, i may have not registered this complaint, but now all these problems are occurring continuously and not solved and this exceeded my tolerance limit.
            I request you to look into this matter and solve it.

            Hello,

            I am using a airtel friends sim for over the last three years. I enjoyed the features provided by the sim. Around the first week of august I received a sms stating that I will be charged with 50ps per number with effect from 11th august and it also stated the way to deactivate the features. I was concerned and I contacted the customer care (for which I was charged with 50ps) and I was understand the message. You will have to understand that I was using all the features available to me for the last 3 years or so and was suddenly asked to stop otherwise chargeable with some unaffordable amount. Since I was not calling to the numbers I deactivated the profile. But still I have been charged with atleast Rs.2/- from my account on a daily basis. This is continuing for the last couple of weeks and this is completely annoying.

            I am not able to understand how can a subscriber be charged for complaining or for any inquiry. Currently airtel is charging its customers for calling and talking to their customer service executives at a rate you say as a low rate. But still this is purely irrational.

            Another important thing that I would like to put to your notice is that, Kerala, my native state is provided with the least benefits with respect to the rest of the country. Now you are putting your subscribers under terrible situations. The only benefits that gets by any subscriber is those who possess the corporate sim. This is purely insane.

            The new era of mobile revolutions is hurling India to newer dimensions. While airtel, my personal favorite, still sits on the age old tactics and schemes. Airtel came with new and new innovations and beautiful and attractive features but I am missing that magic touch. If you are planning to continue like this, airtel will be loosing out all of your potential subscribers. If you are planning to go like this please do one more thing: Please change your motto: EXPRESS YOURSELF. You are putting every possible barriers for expressing ourselves.

            I am waiting for a quick and apt response and being optimistic that you will do the needed.

                Hi,

                I was holding a broadband connection with Airtel (number : [protected], account number :[protected]. In Feb 2012, I have raised a request for transferring the connection from JP Nagar to Kanakapura Road. They did it on time, but from the next day onwards the link was down. I had raised multiple tickets for resolving the issue. Nobody looked into this problem and finally in March 2012, I had asked them to terminate the connection. They asked me to pay around Rs 200/- and i paid it in April.

                But after that, i am getting the bills every month. I again reported the issue to them and asked to close the connection in June 2012. They did not took any actions.

                For the whole duration the usage was zero as the link was down. Now they are asking me to pay the bill for the entire duration and threatening about taking legal action against me.

                All the service request numbers i have raised till now have been deleted from their back end, unfortunately i didn't noted down them.

                Please help me !!!

                        My name is Mazin Khan and I am subscriber to Airtel No. [protected]. Some MMS messages have been sent through my number on 5/11/2012 and I have been charged Rs.40/- by the service provider airtel for the same. As I had not used this MMS service i called up Airtel the following day to inquire about the deduction made from my balance. After my interaction with the customer care executives a number of times my deductions was refunded to me. But I persistently followed up with the executives who reluctantly gave me the numbers on whom the MMS was forwarded and these are the numbers I do not know. As this is the second time that my number has been misused, I am confident that my mobile is been misused by somebody and if this does not stop I may get into trouble in future. As the MMS sent through my number are in bulk and are forwarded to the persons I do not know, I feel this is a case fit for the cyber crime branch cell. As the service provider has frankly informed me that it is not the problem of their company and I m alone responsible for this, I need Your help to curb such types of misuse of mobile numbers.

                        So I request you to investigate on the matter and provide concrete solution to my problem.

                          My balance has been deducted. INR 30 has been deducted from my balance for phone number [protected]. I was browsing internet on my mobile for the URL: m.moneycontrol.com and a flash ad appeared. I believe by mistake the flash ad got clicked and Received a message from AIRTEL that RS 30 has been deducted from my balance for activating Ask an expert.

                          I immediately canceled the service, However the balance has already been deducted. How can Airtel activate any service on my mobile without asking any confirmation from my side and deduct money in an illegal way ?

                            Airtel has the most useless customer service call centres.The executives are semi-literate dimwits who have no intention of providing any kind of service to the customers. They are only interested in ending the call asap. So they just put it on hold for a min of 15/20 mins and eventually the call is dropped. In a span of 4 months I have spoken to umpteen customer service executives to get my internet problem resolved. They are nothing more than trained parrots who repeat the same lines like a broken record. As a last resort they transfer the call to the so called supervisors who have even lower IQs. Rahul Maurya, Asif Ali and Ashok Pawar are some of the specimens I've had the honour of interacting with . None could resolve the problem even after 4 months. If this is the quality of customer service Airtel provides , they should just scrap the whole service division and save the costs involved in running it.

                            In the end though, I was pleasantly surprised by the service provided by Nitin Pratap Singh ( a supervisor) who was very helpful and is in the process of resolving my problem. Thanks so much Nitin for your sincerity and diligence. I think your colleagues have a lot to learn from you.

                              My customer ID is [protected]. I have recharged my Air-tel Digital TV account after long time on 27 Oct 2130 Hrs by 1100/= for one year. after hour i have registered complaint for not getting any signal. On 28Th Morning I checked all cable connection and got error SM1 and again registered complaint for error satellite migration & received time for engineer visit before 1830 hrs on 28Th Oct. Like This daily They promised for next day and finally on 03rd of Nov. my problem was solved. Hence from very First day onward for 8 days i have not received any Picture.
                              Air-tel was charging 5.75 Rupee daily from my account, I asked customer care That Once I am not receiving any picture Than why They are deducting my amount. They replied That it will be refunded Ones my complaint is resolved.

                              Now last 3 days i am asking customer care to refund amount 5.75 X 8 days - 46/= to my account but somebody says There is No such rule, Other says OK sir it will be credited to your account. Still i am waiting for credit.

                              Airtel DTH — wrong deduction of amount

                              Dear Sir,

                              i am a customer of Airtel Dth services. service is registered on my father name with the customer id [protected]. i lodge a complaint about a unproper edeptor which affecting picture quality. i got reply via sms that my complaint is solve but there was no action taken by the airtel.after some days again i lodge a complaint that time they solved it in that action they have to deduct rs 300/- once as a service charge. but after a month they deducted rs 300/- again and saying that you lodge 2 complaint so you have to pay twice.
                              i am a customer of Airtel Dth services. Service is registered on my brother name with the customer id [protected]. I lodge a complain about not receiving any signal .On my complaint they had sent an engineer who after survey told us that the main part of the antena i.r LNBF is broken and need to be change . He promissed to come back again on next day and for temporary purpose he replaced an old LNBF but it doesn't worked out .So he told us that he is going to come with new LNBF.

                              Next day the engineer didnot come and from that day we are every time informing the customer care to sent the engineer but no proper action they took.

                              With that our account had been debited with the LNBF Cost .I just wanted to Know when no New LNBF was replaced then how can they debit my account .

                              Therefore due to your people day by day you are debiting our account as fine for not recharging the account .

                              Look into the matter And refund my debited money as no new LNBF is replaced.Your engineers are giving Foul Feedback at your end Due to which we are suffering a lots...

                              AIRTEL DIGITAL TV — WRONG BALANCE DEDUCTION

                              My customar Id is [protected]. I am using three set top box under the same Id. In my room my STB id is [protected].On 12.10.09 i got a message in my TV that rs. 75/- has been deduct from my account balance. Then I made a call to customar care on 14.10.09 at 12.09 am. and at that time I came to know I have booked a movie. But really I dont. Then I asked to the Flr. Manager(Mr. Kunal) that I want to listen my voice recording when I booked the movie. then he told me they cant because of their company policy.Then he gave me a complain no. 1220878 & told me my problem will be rectified within 15.10.09. On 14.10.09 I got a message in my registered mobile no. that the problem has been resolved.Today I again made a call to CC and had a talk with Mr. Biman Biswas(Sr. Process Leader) but he was telling me that I have booked the movie, then again I want to listen my voice when I have booked the movie. But he refused me. I just want to know why they are cheating with the customar. If they need money then they can ask directly to the customars.I just want justice pls help me. And please refund my Rs. 75/-. Otherwise I will disconnect my digital tv connection & I will take different tv connection.

                              Airtel has the worst customer service. They had a technical problem and deducted Rs. 1200 from my Airtel Digital TV subscription. When asked why, they have no reason and tell that the money is reversed in my credit card. I have cross checked with my bank and there is no money there. The service was disconnected from their end on 14th Sept. To date my TV subscription has not been activated and the amount not credited to my account.
                              When i call the customer care to know about the complaint status, they create a ticket number for every call.. so far I have close to 15 ticket numbers from emails and phone calls. I always give them the old ticket number for follow up, but everytime they create a new ticket number. This is ridiculous and the worst kind of a service I have never expected from Airtel.

                              I have purchase airtel digital tv online on 27 oct 2009.. i booked the economy pack of 3250 for one year .when i was making payment through i-banking thier site said your payment could not be make due to some technical problem so try again after some time and in this way my transaction was made 3 times each for 3250 rs.. I complaint to costumer care and they told me that my two transaction will be refund to my bank account in 72 hour but i havn't get any amount yet and they dont give me proper response even whenever i make complain to costumer care .                               Hello Airtel,

                              This is Saurabh Sharma (Customer ID - [protected]), I am here to address one of my concerns which has not been handled by the
                              Digital Tv Customer care and every time I call the customer care, they open an SR logging a complaint however I do not see any stringent actions
                              been take from their end.

                              It's the same with the team leaders as well as the customer care executives, either they do not know how to handle the issues addressed
                              by the customers or they lack process knowledge, which is again creating lots of dissatisfaction amongst a whole bunch of customers.

                              I did a recharge of Rs.628.00 on 9th of October since I had to get the airtel tv relocation done and requested for an engineer to visit
                              my place however after calling the customer care several times, I could not get the technician to my place hence I got the airtel TV installed
                              through a local airtel technician available in my area where I am residing currently.

                              Neverthless, of this act of carelessness, the airtel has charged me Rs. 300 towards the relocation however none of the engineers visited my place
                              to install the connection because of which I paid a local technician an amount of Rs.800.00(Including the extra cable charges).

                              Despite of my several calls to the customer care, the action what they have taken so far is that they logged a complain against the engineer who was
                              supposed to visit my place and no further actions have taken place so far.

                              I called the customer care today as well and spoke to Rachna who was unable to address my issue and when I asked for an escalation, she said that none of the
                              team leaders are present on her floor hence I opened a service request number # 4481941 (issue is balance deduction) to request the senior executives to look into the
                              issue and call me back with the detail clarification.


                              I want to seek a clarification about why I have been charged an amount of Rs.300 when none of the engineers have visited my place, could you please look into this issue
                              and revert ASAP?

                                I am Kuldeep Tyagi. I have applied for Airtel Broadband Internet cable connection at Pocket M, Sarita Vihar, Delhi to a Airtel sales executive ( Rajesh Sharma mobile no.[protected] ) who came to my home and filled a form . I have submitted the required documents: Address proof and Identity proof. He asked me to give Rs. 1000 in advance And promissed me to provide connection as per given time.
                                I gave him advance 1000 rupees. And he gave me a copy of form with CEF no-3204985 on 6th Oct, 2012.
                                But after waiting few days he gave me continuosly false promises and no one came to provide me broadband connection.
                                I continuously tried to talk to him but he stopped picking up my calls. I am helpless and now expect a favour from you to look into this matter. As per him His DSA office address is AMBA BPO, 4, BEGUMPUR, SHIVALIK ROAD, MALVIYA NAGAR , DELHI .
                                I talked to Mr Kuljeet Singh DGM AMBA BPO; Mobile: +91-[protected] he told me to talk to Regional Manager- Amit Heera Mpbile no-[protected] about this matter.
                                I talked to Mr. Amit Heera on given number and he told me that Rajesh Sharma is a fraud and has left the job already. When I asked Amit Heera to refund my amount if he is not able to provide connection then he said that He is not liable to refund the amount against this issue. I logged complaint (Reference number is[protected] to Airtel Customer Care on [protected]@in.airtel.com but after a call they did not respond.

                                Dear Sir, I am helpless and expect the favour from you agianst theses fraud peoples of Airtel and AMBA BPO. Please take immediate action to resolve this issue and refund my advance money back.

                                AirTel — fraud by airtel sales executives

                                I am Yogesh Choudhary resident in Pune.
                                In December '08 first week airtel sales personnel name Shruti, cell no. [protected] called me for their new postpaid scheme,
                                Then I agree on one scheme of 350 monthly rental postpaid plan, to convert my same prepaid no. [protected] into postpaid.
                                Then they send their sales executive to fill the form and collect advance money of INR 250 and give a new postpaid sim card of wrong series at my resident and after that they delay my connection for two weeks and after that when I ask them angrily about my connection they told we are just file your profile right now and on dec. 22 2008 they cancelled my prepaid sim card registration and my postpaid connection is active on dec 23 2008 but I don't have right sim card which is active to till today (dec. 30 2008) and their cell no.[protected] is switched off and airtel customer care says we can't do anything you have to contact those people from whom you purchase that plan.

                                I am here on behalf of my friend namely Mr. Ramesh Kumar Rawal S/o Sh. Santosh Kumar R/o # 3425, Sec 15-D, Chandigarh. We submitted all the required documents with Rs. 500/- cash on dated 7th day of February, 2009 around 5:30 PM. for Airtel Broadband Connection (Rs. 499/- plan, unlimited) and the executives namely Mr. Mohit and Mr. Vishal having telephone numbers [protected] and [protected] respectively promised that you will be using the broadband connection tomorrow by 6 PM. They said that our technical executive would come around 12:00 noon but up to 6 pm, there was no one for wiring or anything else. We were just trying to contact them but all in vain. Moreover, when I tried to approach the customer care in the regard on internet, the circle area radio button is not working there. A great technical error of web-developers. On continue browsing on Google, I found this website and I am just trying to say the concerned authorities that please look into the matter so that we may use Airtel broad-band soon. Thanks.
                                One day I got an sms requesting me to contact Agarwal Info, Chennai if in case I need Airtel broadband connection. Guess it is a franchise of Airtel. The following were the nos mentioned in the sms:
                                [protected], [protected]. I called one of these no. as I was in need of Braodband connection. One guy named Harish picked the call. He asked for my address to check the feasiblity in my area as I resided in sholinganalur, Chennai. After an hour I got a call back from him stating me that it is possible for Airtel broadband connection at my home. He requested me to pay a sum of 500Rs to the marketing guy named Magesh. His mobile no. is [protected]. He got my photograph, 570 Rs from me and promised i will get the connection in 4 days time. Then 5th day I called him. He told me to talk with a guy named Krishnakumar who is also an employee of Agarwal info. His mobile no. is [protected]. He didnt respond properly. Every day I used to call him. He was jeep on dragging day by day. Then after 3 weeks time he told me to talk with his manager named Baskar. His mobile no. is [protected]. This guy checked with other team and told me that my house is 95M away from the dp box and it is not possible for them to give connection.
                                I asked him why the hell they checked for the feasiblity and got 570 Rs from me. He apologised and told that i can be moved to cancelation and I will be getting my money back in 10 days. Yesterday, suddenly Airtel people came to my home for installation. I called baskar why he told that it was not possible previiously. He again apologised and told that his team has achieved the target for the previous month. So, moved my application to next month. So, whatever these people said was not true. They are very big frauds. If you want to get a Airtel broadband connection please go to Airtel showroom direcly rather than going to franshise like Agarwal Info. Because of Agarwal Info., Airtel's name is getting spoiled though they provide good service. Now I go with TATA INDICOM.
                                Those people are not ready to cancel my connection too. Now my moeny is in vain. Could you please help me in getting the money back. In this world of recession 570 bugs is really a big money for me.

                                in the starting when i begin to with airtel connection,that time dealer take 500 rs and told that u'r airtel bill start from 2nd month....ie this 500 Rs is u'r advance for first month ...n after a month first airtel bill came.n now i was telling to that dealer that i have already paid for that before only and he was saying that that was installation charge...rather Modem was mine...n before he dosn't told me that any about installation charge..that time he told me installation charge is free..now when i went to airtel office to make complaint of him , a lady (receptionist) told me that he left his job... and i make furthur inquiry about him ...i found that he is still in work..that lady(smart one) try to make me fool....in local no one is hearing our problem....i think airtel that's new policy to make costumer fool by telling several lying at the time of making connection.....

                                Airtel Broadband — Complaint against Fraud by Airtel Sales Executive

                                This is in regards to new broadband connection subscription that was done by me from Airtel's official website.An executive by name Mr. Naval Kishore working with your Authorized Channel Partner- Globus Consultancy and Services in IP extension visited me on 26thJan'2011 and collected INR1800/- cash and INR1899/- as cheque and shared a tarrif enrollment form which has and SEF code 25050 mentioned on the same confirming me that Engineer shall be visiting my residential address on 29thJan'2011. Since then I am unable to contact him on his cellphone no. as given on his visiting card- +91-[protected].lodged a complaint with customer care on 30thJan'2011 and my complaint reference no. is 42487082. The call that I recieved from Customer care division on 31stJan'2011 took all the details and informed me that this is a fraud and he shall be mailing me the photograph of this person to confirm and forward my request to Airtel Head Office in Okhla Industrial Area.
                                Unfortunately, I haven't got any call or email after this.

                                Airtel — Fake promises by Airtel Broadband Sales

                                Hi,
                                I have applied for a Broadband connection for myself on 29th May,2011. As they needed address proof, I submitted the same to Mr. Shubhashish Rakshit (+[protected]) and Rs. 500 on 30th May, 2011 morning. He mentioned that the connection and installation will be done by 30th May, 2011 evening. Since then I have been told several stories but the connection or the installation. I have been talking to another guy Mr Amit Shikdar [protected] (introduced by Mr. Shubhashish Rakshit ) over phone but none of them managed to fulfill their comitment. If this is the kind of service and commitment is being delivered to customers from a company like Airtel, then I'm affraid how long Bharati is going to be a top Telecom company in Inida.

                                Guys this is a request not to trust any of Mr. Shubhashish Rakshit or Mr. Amit Shikdar. Please don't give them money before they come to your premises for installation.

                                I have something more to add to this. Yesterday morning I was promised by Mr. Shubhashish Rakshit (+[protected]) that the connection will be done at most by May 2nd, 2011. But I never got any call from anybody saying that we are coming to your home for installation, so I called Mr. Shubhashish Rakshit several times, but he never picked up the call. In the afternoon I called Mr. Amit Shikdar and he mentioned guys are going to be there at my house by afternoon. I got a call at 5:30pm saying that they are coming to my place so I went home just for the installation. I kept on waiting and waiting but nobody came until 7:30pm. One guy turned up at 7:30pm and he mentioned that he is there for setup and configure internet. I mentioned that the connection (the guy termed as wiring) is not yet done, nobody came for the wiring. Then he was surprised and called up somebody and disappeared. After 20 min I called the guy saying that what’s going on, he mentioned that as the wiring is not yet done he can’t configure. Then after another 30 min some guy called me and said that they are near my house. So I said are you for “wiring”. He mentioned that as my house is too far from their hub they can’t do the wiring at that time. I was completely pieced off and said to them that I don’t need the connection and asked for the money back. That guy asked me to contact the sales person, who came to take the application.

                                So this is the kind of service I have received from Airtel guys. Should I take anything good about Airtel from this? I think I should tell each of my friends to be away from Airtel Broadband service.

                                The this is, I had received a call on Monday from Mr. Amit Shikdar. He said that as the distance of my home from DP is about 350 meters he couldn't get this approved. As a result he had to cancel the request and he mentioned that he will try to get me my money back by 1.5 to 2 months time.

                                I could not agree with you more, Following is my story
                                I requested for a connection on 3rd June 2011 and also paid 500 rs installation fees. I have not got a connection till date, even after 10 days. When i call up the sales person Mr Manjunath - [protected], he tells me the same story that the connection will be installed today. This has become my daily routine these days to follow up on the salesperson just because i made the mistake of having chosen Airtel. I am so frustrated now that i dont even want the connection. The salesperson however refuses to refund me and sticks to his same story -the connection will be done today.I just want to get out of this mess.

                                I am Manu Kant, using Airtel Broadband connection (Number:[protected] since May 26, 2011. When i applied for airtel broadband connection one the sales person came to collect my all the documents and amount. I have given him all the docs and amount but thing is that he filled my Customer Enrollment Form (CEF) by himself and when he gave the copy of my CEF at my home and at that time i was in my office. Now i have made so many calls to Customer care department but they are not taking any action against him. And now they have barred my all the services. Please take an appropriate action ASAP otherwise i have to go to the consumer court.

                                Airtel, AMba BPO fraud in Broadband Internet Cable connection
                                Hi,
                                I am Kuldeep Tyagi. I have applied for Airtel Broadband Internet cable connection at Pocket M, Sarita Vihar, Delhi to a Airtel sales executive ( Rajesh Sharma mobile no.[protected] ) who came to my home and filled a form . I have submitted the required documents: Address proof and Identity proof. He asked me to give Rs. 1000 in advance And promissed me to provide connection as per given time.
                                I gave him advance 1000 rupees. And he gave me a copy of form with CEF no-3204985 on 6th Oct, 2012.
                                But after waiting few days he gave me continuosly false promises and no one came to provide me broadband connection.
                                I continuously tried to talk to him but he stopped picking up my calls. I am helpless and now expect a favour from you to look into this matter. As per him His DSA office address is AMBA BPO, 4, BEGUMPUR, SHIVALIK ROAD, MALVIYA NAGAR, DELHI .
                                I talked to Mr Kuljeet Singh DGM AMBA BPO; Mobile: +91-[protected] he told me to talk to Regional Manager- Amit Heera Mpbile no-[protected] about this matter.
                                I talked to Mr. Amit Heera on given number and he told me that Rajesh Sharma is a fraud and has left the job already. When I asked Amit Heera to refund my amount if he is not able to provide connection then he said that He is not liable to refund the amount against this issue. I logged complaint (Reference number is[protected] to Airtel Customer Care on [protected]@in.airtel.com but after a call they did not respond.

                                Dear Sir, I am helpless and expect the favour from you agianst theses fraud peoples of Airtel and AMBA BPO. Please take immediate action to resolve this issue and refund my advance money back.

                                  My airtel mobile no. is [protected].I have never activated AIRTEL FRIENDZ CHAT_DAILY_DECREAMENT_1.5 and even never got any kind of service activation message from the service provider i.e. AIRTEL and today i got a message from AT-AIRINF that "thank you for choosing AIRTEL FRIENDZ CHAT_DAILY_DECREAMENT_1.5on your airtel mobile.You have been charged Rs,1.5 for 1days".Is this a new stunt of generating revenue????? Kindaly take action against people those are involved into these kind of stuff.

                                    MMS services were activated on my mobile number without my consent, and I was charged Rs. 99 as a monthly rental. I did not notice the charges until Dec'11 when I randomly checked my bill. So I went back and checked my previous bills and was shocked to find out that I was charged Rs. 99 from April 2010 onwards. I called up their customer care in Dec'11 and asked them to discontinue the MMS service, but they did not do anything about it. So I wrote a mail to the Nodal Officer in Mumbai on 1st March 2012, and explained them what was the problem and asked for reversal of charges. I just received an automated acknowledgement mail..Finally I wrote a mail to Appellate Mumbai on 28th March 2012 and brought this to their notice. I got a call from them within 3 days of my complaint, but they just agreed to refund me Rs. 299 out of the total amount.

                                    Also inspite of writing them about the MMS services wrongly activated on my number, they again charged me Rs. 79.84 in my Apr 2012 bill.

                                    I wrote one more mail to them and threatened them to bring the matter to the notice of their Company CEO , Mr. Mittal, CFO, Mr. Kapoor and to the Consumer Forum. I again got a call from them, but they were just not ready to pay any heed to my threat. They even openly challenged me that I can go to any forum or even write to their Top Management but still will not refund my balance amount. The question is not about the amount but the rationale behind charging amounts on an adhoc basis, which I am aware AIRTEL is famous for.

                                    Total amount wrongly charged till date : Rs. 2230 + Rs. 79 = Rs. 2309
                                    Total Refund received till date : Rs. 299.00
                                    Balance Not Yet Refunded : Rs. 2010

                                    Before approaching you , I tried to get my problem resolved through various other channels, but no luck.

                                    Hope to get justice and my money back.

                                      I have a airtel prepaid connection.
                                      Once in a month, i get a message on my mobile saying you have been charged 20 rupees for some download or some service which i never even heard of. Customer care is very poor and they dont repsond at all. This is happening to everybody i know who have a airtel connection.
                                      Please dont go for airtel mobile connection. I lost quite a bit of money because of this.
