I have already mailed complain against unwanted SMS for home loan, modular kitchen, health checkup, New plot, Flat etc again i am giving details of nos which have send me these kind of messages, Dont understand where do they get the no. and what will i do with 50 offers per day. here are some of the nos.

I have been receiving unwanted push, "aap ke dost" type of SMS's. I request authorities to disable all SMSs. I have called up Airtel helpline number numerous times in past, but no action seems to be taken yet in this regard.My mobile number is [protected].

I am prepaid subscriber of airtel operator under Mob. No [protected].I am getting unwanted ugly sms daily as i have already stoped this service through START DND. I am disappointed n desperate to receive such sms on my mobile which are poluting the kids n environment of home. i request you to take action against such operators who send such non sense sms without any subscription of an individual. If such messages will continue I may also think to change the operator from AIRTEL to some other.

I get lot of SMS from various advertisement companies. Free SMS service from websites has opened up spamming engines, it is now easy for anybody to send unsolicited SMS. Airtel has not able to stop this, can courts intervene?

    Hi,

    I had raised complaint on 1st Oct 2012 regarding I got SMS as "thanks for downloading [protected]@_RS_ from your air-tel, Yo have been changed Rs 99 " and i have not downloaded any link or not registered on any link so request for no not include 99 Rs amt on bill so customer care execute was agree with my comment and he provided me reference number for call execution. Executive had told me that we will not add Rs 99 on your bill.
    But i got bill from current month and that amount is included on bill. Today (25th OCT 2012) at 2.44 PM i called on air-tel customer care but now he is not agree on same issue and not talking with me regarding issue. He disconnected same call .

    Its very bad impression from customer care officer.

    very shame thing coming with air-tel.

      I am submitting this complaint because of an embarrassing experience vetted out from Airtel. The only fault from my end was that I opted for an airtel broadband connection. I was using the connection ([protected]) till April 2012 and requested authorities to transfer the connection as I was moving to a new location.
      Now suddenly litigation is moved against me for not paying a bill of around 4183 for which I have not used the connection. My claims are based on following points
      1. The airtel representative, who came to transfer my connection, gave a new connection instead of initiating the transfer.
      2. On citing this, a complaint was registered against the representative (A reference no can be found against my connection details)
      3. I had informed about this incident to CC and they promised that will disconnect the connection.
      4. The disconnection request now in understand, came to existence only by month of August.

      When I was called recently to settle the bill, I had told them that if I have any charges outstanding against my usage I will settle it. I understand that I have already paid bill for whatever data usage done, and the amount of 4183/- is the rent accumulated even after requesting a disconnection.
      On requesting disconnection of fixed line, I had continued patronage with airtel by taking an airtel 3G connection, and I hope you respect the customer feelings and close this issue soon.

      I am receiving calls from your collection department almost on a daily basis, asking for the payment. If i have any data usage registered which remains unpaid, i am ready to pay, which i am sure is not existent.

      I am still getting calls from people introducing them as people from advocate office (Delhi), and asking me to settle the bill amount.

      This is really intimidating experience, for a simple reason that i opted to take airtel connection.

      Please resolve this matter with proper resolution.

        I am krishna, i am using your postpaid mobile connection ([protected]) from last 4 years, In this June , i activated 349 plan, they told me its getting 750 mb gprs free. But next month i got 2900 bill for using gprs (extra 26520kb). Without any information how would we know whether gprs is crossed 750mb. In this regard i enquired AP customer care. But they didn't give any proper reason. So they harrase me to pay the bill. With that amount we will get 1year unlimetd airtel internet connection. So this is cheating.

          My due date was on oct 24th. I called up the customer care on 23rd oct at around 8 30 pm(today) and asked him for recharge plans and offers available. The information given to me was recharge of 341 on 310rs recharge, 451 on 410 rs recharge and 561 on 510 rs recharge i.e.10% cash back offer. Upon confirmation I recharged for 510. However now when i call up the customer care they say there is no such offer and that they would give me a max of 40rs cash back. And i have to wait for close to an hour so that he can take this decision. Why do two executives give different offers?..are these cash backs out of their own pockets?.. This is not the first time this has happened. Every month we recharge on confirmation by the customer care and then have to fight for it.

          I have been using airtel digital tv services for the past 2 years and i am extremely unhappy and frustrated at the responses of the customer care executives. I would greatly appreciate if you respect the money and time spent by your customers.

              As we r the digital Air Tel consumer for last three years.From last three months we inform to local dealer that the signal of all channels are not received to our TV Through set of Box.but in vain.Than we complaint to consumer care on 12150 a month back.Our complaint no. is 21927396 & our costumer ID is [protected].we regularly follow the costumer care no. to rectify our problem. They give us only assurances.They did n"t solve our problem till date.After paying full payments of monthly package for Rs.200/months,we r getting only 5 or 6 channels
              Pl. inter-vain in the matter & solve our problem.

                Hi,

                I am also an victim of the above airtel negligence. I did an recharge of Rs. 54 by looking into your valid recharges page on the airtel website for Maharashtra & Goa.

                Upon recharge i received an message stating talk time of Rs 1 & nothing about the free calls of 175 mins as mentioned on your website.

                I called up your CSR to discuss the issue, and i must admit you really have some worthless ones serving us. They have no idea about the problem and don't wanna share their names. Upon persistence they disconnected our call thrice. Now we are not able to reach them.


                In some worthwhile discussion with them, they informed us that there is no such recharge of Rs 54 for the state of Maharashtra. Upon mentioning that the info is present on website, we were told that the website has old details.

                So there are 2 queries -

                1) Though the online page reflects your recent updates of the recharge of Rs 95 (validity reduced from 30 to 21 days), but for some reason Rs 54 recharge hasn't been updated?

                2) A company of international stature like Airtel has incorrect details on their website. Looking at the above complaint it already has been 3 days. Being from software background, i really don't think you need so much time to rectify such a small problem.

                I hope Airtel looks into the matter seriously & stops fooling the people with such cheap tactics. Facing a problem is not the issue, but having to resort third party for such problems is the main issue. Issue should have been resolved directly through Airtel.

                    I ravikanth from hyderabad using airtel pp connection from 1 year onwords ,last month i have not paid the bill as i am in out of station regarding job work ,ur cc people call me about the payment i told that i will pay the bill after reaching home , they also disconnected my i/c and o/g services also now they are calling to all of my o/g numbers about my payment without calling me . they all are calling me and telling that the cc people are speaking volgurly regarding the payment .WHO ARE THOSE PEOPLE TO TRACT MY OUTGOING CALLS?DO THEY HAVE ANY RIGHT TO TRACK MY O/G LIST ? they are calling from [protected] and speaking very rudly with ladies also she is also a lady how can she speak the village language with ur customers .if i pay the money now then they will take those words back again?i am requesting u to take seviour action on her.

                      1. on 18th Sep 2012 I got a call From NET department wherein i had spoken with Mr Satish Pathak he promised me that he will increase my credit limit to Rs. 5000 and he will activate me a Internet plan of Rs. 99 unlimited plan. and he send me the email also in which it is clearly written that my internet plan of rs 99 will be activated from 6th Oct 2012 .. he promised me that it will be activated automatically.
                      till now Rs. 99 unlimited plan has not been activated by Airtel team which they have already send my in written.
                      2. on 20th sep 2012 at around 9:22 pm i have received a msg from Airtel AZ-AIRCCM that as per your request GPRS has been started on your airtel mobile on 20th sep 2012 and Free 3 G services of 2GB per month has been deactivated from your mobile ……at the time of activation airtel provided me 2Gb 3G data free for first 4 months under HBO offer... my plan was changed without my consent
                      My 3 G Plan deactivated without my consent and i got 900 Rs. bill for using internet

                      request you to look into the matter and resolve my problem as soon as possible...

                          1. At the time of installation, I ve made a total payment of Rs 3600/- for a new connection & as installation charges. This offer was said to be for a period of one year. For last one week I am getting a sms as My bal is low and get it recharged before disconnection of services - ie just after mere 5 months period alone.
                          2. On contacting the person named, Mr Surya Narayana (the person who Installed then) does not give correct information or respond to calls.
                          3. I also take this opportunity to high light few other issues experienced at customer end.
                          (a) I am not given a receipt of payment or any documentary evidence for this Installation until this date despite repeated queries.
                          (b) No Coordination between your Airtel Dish TV seller & Service Provider. Both do not own up the responsibility and try to pass on the bugs to each other. The offers given on initial purchase is contradicted by service providers. For instance i) According to Dish TV seller, No Installation charges & is free; whereas Service provider does not comply with it. ii) The required Channels specified as included in packages initially are denied after installation & are added up with more additional charges.
                          (c) Number of people [min 4 at a time] jump into customer till the cash is handed over to them after which none answers the calls.
                          4. My call to your customer care service @ Bangalore too did not yield any great output.
                          5. Hoping for right remedial measure & your assistance / necessary action in this regard.

                              Regreted porting to Airtel, was very comfortable using prepaid services, but customer care influnced me about postpaid services, aknoledging them i got it changed from pre paid to post paid,
                              shoked to recieve thousands of bill end of the month, and i stopped using the services, later on demand i paid Rs 2968/- after they commited to put me back in prepaid service.

                                Myself Dr Dinesh Choudhary from Trivandrum....using airtel mobile services from long time....i have recharged my mobile no ( +91-[protected]) through net banking for 1750 on 2nd october...i got the msg of successful recharge on mobile and money debited from my account but not credited to my mobile....i have lodged compliant at airtel mutiple times but no response by them..they are not giving satisfactory answer how it happenend.........
                                It is really a torture for a customer to call them mutiple times and write complaints on their online form for his own money..........

                                Airtel — Unsucessful Recharge Money not Credited to Account

                                I have an Airtel Prepaid connection and recharged for Rs.999/- on 17th November 2008 through internet. The recharge was not sucessfull and the same amount has been debited from my account. .I enquired to Customer service & they told that the amount will be credited to my account 48hrs.but nothing done.

                                    On 13the August 2012, I had reached thee 1GB limit of my net plan whose validity period had not yet ended and theus I sent a message to activate a new plan. I received a message saying theat thee net plan will be activated in 4 hours.

                                    After a week, I received a message saying theat I have reached thee credit limit of Rs.1000 and to continue thee services I will have to pay thee amount. Withe theis, my internet facility was disconnected.

                                    On 24the August, I called thee airtel number 198 and talked to a customer care executive. She told me theat my net plan was still active and theat I would not have to pay thee amount of Rs. 1000 and started my internet service again.

                                    At thee end of theat monthe, I received a bill in which I have been charged for thee net usage during thee period of 13the August to 24the August. I tried to contact thee customer care executives but theey give no proper response. I did not pay thee bill for thee monthe and got a call from thee number [protected] to ask me about thee payment. I told theem about thee situation. After theat, I have been receiving regular missed calls from thee same number for about 2 monthes but no action has been taken.

                                    About a week ago, i again got a call and I explained thee situation again. The executive said theat he will mention theis in thee system. Two days ago, my outgoing service got disconnected. That day I got anotheer call, again asking me theat same question. I again explained thee situation, and told him theat I had already explained it to anotheer executive. He said theat he will mention theis in thee system and theat I will get anotheer call withein 48 hrs.

                                    I again got a call today, asking me thee same question but not giving any clarification about what I had explained during thee last call. Please to sometheing regarding theis. Also, please start thee outgoing services as soon as possible.

                                    I’m a loyal customer of Airtel and have been using Airtel (Delhi) for more than 7 years and never ever I had any problem or discrepancy regarding my bill earlier.
                                    I got new Airtel number in Bhubaneswar, Orissa. On 17-Oct-2010 I activated Rs. 98/- Gprs plan on my number. I called up Airtel customer care before activating and was told that I will have 2GB limit per month. After using internet for about a week I checked my unbilled amount and it was in excess of Rs. 700/-. I called up CC again to ask about this high unbilled amount and was told that this is the interim bill and my gprs usage bill will come under Rs.98/- gprs pack and will be updated at the time of bill generation at the end of bill period. But later I received a bill of Rs.2149.64/-. On contacting CC I was told that I have to pay the same amount as I have used “Airtel live” and not “Airtel gprs”. Also, my outgoing calls were barred 10 days (25-nov-2010) well before my bill payable date (06-Dec-2010). Kindly note that, the CC executive haven’t told me anything about accessing internet thru Airtel gprs and not thru Airtel live at the time of activating the pack. How will a user know which access point to use? Also, they didn’t even cared to tell me at the time when I called up in-between, after a week’s usage. I should have been told that my interim unbilled amount is because Airtel Live usage but that time they just told me that it will be adjusted at the time of bill generation.

                                    Secondly, and most important of all, I have a credit limit of Rs.1500/-. How come my bill exceeds the limit? Also, neither did I received any message or communication of any sort after my unbilled amount reached 90% of my credit limit nor my outgoing was blocked after crossing the credit limit which airtel should have done as per the definition of “CREDIT LIMIT” given in its FAQs on its website.
                                    Now tell me why should I pay this amount? The CC executives in Airtel Bhubaneswar, has no knowledge of their own product and technology. Why should I suffer because of their unprofessionalism? I have to call them 5-10 times and even then my issues remain unresolved.
                                    I’ll not pay the bill unless they dissolve the gprs charges which are because of Airtel stupidity itself.
                                    I have forwarded his complaint to the nodal officer, Airtel and also mailed it to the above mentioned email id. Awaiting action in this regard from airtel.

                                    This is in respect to the latest bill generated for my post paid mobile number [protected] for the month of August, Airtel has over billed me ( R.s. 3000 ) irresponsibly for the month of August.
                                    I had specifically asked for enabling R.s 98 data plan and it has not been activated and i was billed for data usage on a different plan for which i had not given consent to.
                                    Airtel is causing me immense inconvenience by calling me up every day, each day a different airtel person call's me and asks me to pay the bill, I am sick and tired of explaining the same issue to them over and over again

                                    Today i got a call from airtel and they started shouting at me for no reason as i was trying to explain my case and the lady cut the call, i called back immediately and asked to know her name but she gave a fake name as "Rithika". Now I refuse to pay the bill unless i have been billed fairly on a 98RS plan. I will register a formal complaint in the Consumer court/grahak seva if this is not resolved.

                                      Airtel is providing so poor services as i am using one toll free and one pri of Airtel. This is a new connection and its credit limit is 15000 i have crossed that limit and i did not get any intimation from Airtel that you have crossed your limit and they have block all services on my number, besides it i did not get any bill of my Toll Free number. now they are saying that first pay this amount then only we will activate your services so i went to Airtel office to make a payment and they denied to accept cash payment,so i dropped a cheaque for Airtel and it will take 2 days to clear the cheaque and after that it will reflect in their system. Now i dont have any other option and my complete business is down.

                                        I had applied for an Airtel Broadband connection on 11 Aug 2012.

                                        I got a call from a lady executive from the Airtel Office (+[protected], who told me that if I made the application right away, I would get the connection in three days. The lady also advised me that Mr.Suresh Kumar, an Airtel executive would come for the documents and payment (a crossed cheque for Rs.999/-, in favour of "Bharti Airtel Ltd"). Mr.Suresh Kumar (Cell #[protected], who had an Airtel Employee ID card, came to my residence, collected the payment and the documents.

                                        I never received the Airtel Broadband connection. However, the cheque which I gave was cashed from my bank account on 08 Sep 2012. I called up the Airtel Office many times and the staff was insensitive to my query. Finally, one lady after checking with her supervisor, said that the application was cancelled and the refund would be couriered to my address in 40 days. Even after the said time, I have not yet received the refund. When I try to call the Airtel office, they say they will call back but they do not call back.

                                        Airtel Broadband — Connection and installation

                                        Hello Sir,

                                        I had applied for an Airtel Broadband connection on July 27, 2010 through a sales person (Mr. Chandru - [protected]) who came and collected a cheque worth 500/-. He told me the Airtel guys will call me up in two working days. I waited for 4 days. Repeatedly called him. He kept on giving one or the other reasons. After that, he logs in the application after a week or so. I get a call from the vendors who provide connection asking me for my address so that they can look at the feasibility. I help them with that. After that he says it is not possible to give connection. The next day another person calls me up and tells everything is fine. We are waiting for the work order so that we can give you the connection. Yesterday, Aug 13, 2010, the vendors call me up and asks which modem/router I wanted. And they also said I have to pay for it. Rs. 800/- for normal modem or Rs. 1400/- for wifi router and another 500/- for the telephone device. I was shocked to hear this. I was told that the modem and the telephone instrument would be given free by the sales person. I was not convinced with them. They said they used to give free phone and modem before and the rules have changed now. I finally agree to that. He told me they will come and give the connection in the evening. I came early from office and was waiting for them. They never turned up. I called up one of their supervisors ( Mr. Shiva - [protected]) who promised me to send a person immediately. I again waited. No signs of anybody. He then gave me another number (Vijay - [protected]) who in turn gave me another number (Deva - [protected]) who told me it is not possible to give the connection now and it will be possible only the next day Aug 14, 2010 at 10: 30 AM. I agreed to it. Today, I waited till 11 AM. Tried calling all these numbers. Either their phones are busy or they don't receive the call. I tried them several times and in doing this spent more than 100/- on call charges. Then i get another number (Jay - [protected]) who tells me it is not possible to give connection because of technical feasibility and they need the approval of some guys and they will get to know if connection can be given only on Monday.

                                        I then called up the sales person who said I cannot help you and to do what I wanted. It is extremely frustrating for me to go through this ordeal. I took a day off from office today to ensure the connection is given and I have waste my time, money and energy.

                                        I request you to please take appropriate action against these frauds and help me get my money refunded.

                                        Airtel Broadband — Not providing connection even after payment

                                        Sir even on several request and telephonic calls no response. they have taken the money and no response they dont pick calls. even they have lied many times on this issue
