Dear Sir,
I have purchased a sim No[protected]H3 & Mobile No [protected] on[protected]. The sim activate at late night on[protected]. The sim has rejected after[protected]. I have contact at your relation center – Airtel, Near St. Merry Convent Girls School, Nasirabad Road, Ajmer on[protected] for this complaint the staff of that office dose not co-operate me and they misbehave also with me and my wife.
Kindly let me know full details that why the sim has rejected by the company and what should I do for the sim. Kindly take action against your official staff of Airtel, Near St. Merry Convent Girls School, Nasirabad Road, Ajmer.
I hope you will send me instruction for the same and do the needful in this matter as soon.

    Airtel — Don't Know the Exact Problem to them

    I Am ramesh from Coimbatore. I had taken a connection with airtel on October-2009. almost after 3 months suddenly they disconnected the service. i contacted the airtel customer care they told me that the SIM may be damaged go to the nearest airtel showroom and get changed the sim after this i had went to the airtel showroom and get chaged the sim. after changing the Sim i contacted the AIRTEL CALL CENTRE for not activating. Now they are saying the line is permanently disconnected for non-submission of Documents. But what the truth is i Have submitted the Documents Twice.

    Dear sir my num is [protected] , sir they minusing my balance 4 to5 times by sending sms for hello tunes, hello cinema , the customer care is a big layer they are not doing any think , these is the big cheating with the custmer i have lost about 100 rupees now y only say in these bad times we can effort ,i am rechargeing for 50 rupees , when my balance is recheaging about 12 to 15 rupees they minusing it that means what , and this company is having to much complain in market also sir icannot effort these type of things pl help me and tell them to give balance back and take some strong action againts these type of thinks .     Ya its 100% true in airtel. Even it happen to me and to many of my friends. Always airtel charging money from our main balance if once we received the automated call from airtel. Eventhough we cut the call within 2 sec after hearing the computer generated voice, they used to charge us rs.15 or rs.30 based on the call we attend. If we contact customer care means, they used to tell that we only pressed the corresponding key for charging the money. Its highly irresponsible act from airtel. These problems arise if we attend the calls regarding hello tunes, airtel radio subscription, etc...also they used to set hello tune by themselves and charging from us by telling that we only select that song. See we know whether we select any song by pressing * and 9 or not, but they used to tell that because you press only, we are charging. Someone stop this idiotic thing from airtel...

      i am arvind kumar pandey and my airtel mobile number: [protected] .I had MNP from idea to airtel on date 02/08/2012 and my sim card was actvited that day.and bill generated on date 12/08/2012 .the bill amount was generated about Rs4600. after talk to cc ,i known that this charge for gprs/internet charge.i am shock because i am activate gprs rs98 pack since date 02/08/2012. i am sorry to inform you iam not able to pay because i am student ,i have no money for payment. iam nervous and i can't undearstand what i do?please help me pls sir
      how can i pay this amount of to take ten day service,.

          Bharti Airtel — Connection disabled unilaterally

          On 19.04.2008, I had taken prepaid connection of Airtel from a vendor in Thane and the cell number is [protected]. For address proof I had submitted MTNL bill copy. And for photo identification I had given copy of dirving license/ PAN card ( I don't remember exactly)

          Suddenly on Friday 13/06/08 evening I received an SMS from Airtel that As per TRAI guideline my verification is unsuccessful and was advised to contact ARC within 48 hour.

          My grievences are - (1) To the best of my knowledge nobody has approached me for any verification as per TRAI guidelines (2) If I am given 48 hours time on Friday evening, but ARC is not open on Sunday - what should I do? (3) On Sunday itself the mobile connection was deactivated - without waiting fo rend of 48 hours. why?

            Sir,
            I am writing this letter with deep regret that inspite of being regular customer of Airtel, I never got a proper response from the customer care team or nodal officers or the appellate desk even.I don’t know if this mail wil be read or discarded…but I am giving a try ..at least Indian consumer forum may be concerned about its customers.

            About 2 months back on[protected]. I lost my handset with Airtel SIM number [protected]. Immidietely I called up the customer care and requested for deactivation of the SIM.I had clearly told the executive that I would not be using the same number in future and asked him to cancel all related info immidietely.

            I got a confirmation after 48 hours that same has been done. After this, I got a bill for period dated[protected] to[protected].So I paid the outstanding amount and verified with the customer care that this was my last bill for this number.

            But soon after, I got another bill for the period of[protected] to[protected] .I immidietely called up the customer care, and asked why I got the bill if the number was cancelled on 1-8-2012?? I got no response. So I sent a mail to [protected]@airtel.in....but no response….I called the nodal officer desk number ….no response….ditto with appellate desk…the IVR said complaint cant be taken since number was already cancelled.

            So I registered a new complaint on[protected] that inspite of number being cancelled 2 months ago, I m getting a bill with outstanding amount.But till now I dint get a favourable response….instead, I got an SMS threating me that if I don’t pay the amount , I will be sued in court.

            Moreover the nodal officer desk is saying they dint get any complaint for cancellation of SIM before. If you check the records , the number was deactivated right from 1-8-2012.So how can they charge me the rent for the period [protected] to[protected] i.e., 2 months after the cancellation of SIM?

            The only reason was that the cancellation procedure took 30 days after the request was taken….now that is the fault of the technical/provisioning team….not the customer right?
            The customer’s duty is to inform about lost SIM and request to cancel the number.Thereafter the customer care team has to keep records and see to it that customer is satisfied with the resolution.Instead nodal officers are even denying that they got a request for deactivation…then how come the number is not is service from 1-8-2012??

            And even the manager of the customer care team are speaking so rudely with a lady customer…that I should be suing Airtel and not the other way round….!!!!

            In case this mail is reaching some responsible person, who has some concern about the customer, then please look into the matter and help a grieved customer.Kindly don’t charge rent for SIM , even after the customer lost it 2 months ago…please don’t cheat customers …!

            In today’s tough market , the only USP for a telecom company is the customer satisfaction and good will it gathers….

            I have completely lost faith in Airtel customer service …and hoping that at least the top management can resolve the issue and wont force the customers to approach consumer court for every grievance…..!!

            Airtel (Bharti Airtel Limited) — Bill produced for 1 month even after cancellation

            Hi,

            I was having one Airtel broadband connection on my name in Gurgaon and my Airtel number was[protected].

            I got a bill for my connection no[protected] of 512 rupees.

            My concerns are:

            1. I have raised a request for cancellation of my DSL no[protected] on 23rd
            March 2010.
            2. I was told that within 1 week it will be disconnected.
            3. I got a bill for Rs. 512 for billing cycle from 23 March 2010 till 22 April
            2010.
            4. How it could be possible because anyhow i was supposed to be charged for 1 week(as per Airtel that it takes 1 week to disconnect a number after confirming the same on phone) but i have been charged for 3 weeks.

            I want Justice in this as i am not bothered about the money but the inconvenience caused by Private companies. Its always happening in case of private companies that they harass the people and afterward starts threatening calls to them to pay the extra money to them and all.

            I am attaching the bill as well for your reference. Please assist.

            Bharti Airtel — Billing even after Cancellation

            Dear Sir,

            I have been a loyal customer of airtel for well over 6 years now. (Vignesh Gautam)

            About 3 months ago, I was contacted by your office at swargat, Pune with a very lucrative 'loyalty' offer sim card. So i went ahead and took the sim card ([protected]). I also paid a deposit of Rs. 300 in cash.
            However, due to reasons, i decided not to take an additional number & so i when your executive came to my house for confirmation, i refused it.
            Later on i also went personally to your office located at kalbhor nagar, chinchwad, pune and personally gave a request for cancellation. I got in touch with one of your executives (Vikas - [protected]) who assuered me that the cancellation would be proceeded with.
            Its been over 3 months and i am still receiving monthly bills & calls demanding bill payments. My usage has been 0, only rentals are being charged. So far Rs. 800 odd.
            Even after calling your customer care several times, they seem to be very casual in their approach and always passing the buck.

            Please look in to the matter at the earliset and stop harassing me.

            Hi this is Asiya shirolkar from pune maharashtra m using prepaid card of airtel since 1 yr but every time they cut the balance for any rubbish reason and whenever i tried to call custumer care these stupid fellows did not know how talk on phone being a cusomer care executive they just hung up the call for no reason...
            I dont knw how can TRAI appreciate AIRTEL for this kind of pathetic sevice...airtel changes the plan of the customer without prior information.OR INTIMATION..n when we call that PATHTIC customer care these people say IT IS CUSTOMER'S RESPONSIBILITY THAT YOU SHOULD TAKE UPDATES FROM CUSTOMER CARE...

              My name is Abhimanyu Yadav i have a airtel haryana sim its no. is [protected].I want to recharge for internet, so i call on customer care 121 for recharge plan amt. detial. They tell me RS 149/- recharge for 2 GB internet ( Date & time :[protected], 07:00 PM ). So I recharge RS 149/- but i this recharge is wrong this recharge note give me 2 GB data. I get 1500 minutes local airtel to airtel, but i was not recharge for minutes. I do not use that minutes. I call 121 and 198 to complain about why they tell me 149/- recharge for 2 GB internet but they can not register my complain.They put my call on hold and disconnect .Now abort my 121 or198 calling. So please help me.

                I have not opted for GAMES MANIA_5 subscription but every day Rs10 is being
                deducted from my Mobile Prepaid account since Friday 12th Oct 2012.

                In the past I faced a similar issue and had requested Airtel to discontinue the deduction and
                reimburse the amount back, which was done on 1st Sept 2012 but almost after 1.5 months it has
                restarted.

                I request to please discontinue the deduction and reimburse the amount back to my prepaid account
                at the earliest and to ensure that this does not REPEATS.

                Airtel — Getting paid for those services which is not subscribed

                Dear Sir,
                My mother is being charged by the Airtel Mobile Service for all those additional paid services which she never opted for and she is not at all interested in any additional paid services of Airtel either.My mothers name is Sushma Purohit and her mobile no is [protected]. My father has contacted Airtel office in Bhilai several times and told this matter to the Airtel staff.But even after repeated complaints the matter is not resolved.Please take stern action or suggest measures to sue Airtel authorities in this matter.

                Airtel — deducting the money for the services which are not subscribed

                sir, every now and then airtel is deducting the money from my talktime on the name of some service like news, cricket etc. Though I have not subscribed for those services.
                the blady Airtel doing all this nonsence - me too had the same problem and contacted CC several times no use - better switch network.
                i last 40 rupes and spend around 20rupes by talking CC - my contact no is [protected] ..

                AirTel — deduction of services not subscribed

                Mobile service of AIRTEL.My mobile no is [protected] and I have prepaid service so they deduct money at their own will depending on the amount present.On Sat they deducted Rs 45 for hello tunes and downloading of some song which i have never opted for and there is noone except me using the phone. The customer service is most disgusting,they do not answer nor let you talk to their senior and respond by sending message whch does not have the option to my problem.
                with great difficulty I had to ask someone else to help me get the refund. Today it is the same story again now they have deducted 15rs for my tunes and when I contacted customercare he tells me it is my mistake.Imagine you deduct money on your own you have all the records and i wonder how AIRTEL trains its employees to harass customers when I am a senior citizen.
                i would like to communicate witth someone senior who can understand.

                  I am using Airtel Broadband with Landline for last 1.6 Yrs now in Mumbai, and also have 4 other Airtel Postpaid Mobile/Broadband connections in my family.

                  For last 2 & half months my landline was not working, for which i had called customer care department twice in Aug for complaint, but due to their system not working at that time my complaint was not taken then. I had requested the customer sup
                  port executive to plz update the complaint once their system is up for which they replied they will do it.

                  I called them again on 12th Sept 2012 asking them for the status of fixing the issue, for which their executive replied that they don't have such complaint in their system & they will take the complaint then & surprisingly i got the message with the complaint no. on 12th Sept 2012. I did a lot of follow up with their customer support team as well as with the escalation managers Jasbeer Kaur & Sushil Kumar for fixing this issue ASAP.

                  Now today i.e. 12th Oct 2012, my landline as well as my internet connection is fixed & their technician also came and checked, but surprisingly again a new issue arise i.e. the internet data limit as per the technician who came to check said its over & the speed is switched to 256Kbps. I really don't understand when the connection got fixed today then how come the internet data limit got over. I am using a 2MBPS line with 5 GB data limit.

                  All these months i have been paying the rent inspite of my connection not working. This month i did not pay the rent as i got bugged cauz the connection wuz not working for last 2 & half months now. Today when i called their customer care department & spoke to their escalation manager Mr. Sushil Kumar for waiving of the 2 & half month rent as it wuz not working, Mr Sushil replied that he can only give me waiver from 12th Sept & not before that as their is no complaint registered for the same before that inspite of me calling twice & their systems were down or slow.

                  This is very disappointing. I will make sure that I will post this on every social network and let others know about the airtel service. I am using Airtel connections (have 4 Connections) for last 15 years now, & this is the kind of response i get from them.

                  No resolution till date.... i am posting this on all the social sites today.....request all people who are fed up from airtel to help me spread this to everyone whoz using airtel

                  Group of people acting as AIRTEL representative - having Forms of AIRTEL - involving call centre people also with them...Cheating people by taking Money (Cash) for prepaid service in name of AIRTEL...a person called Sohail...visit my place - explained me prepaid scheme...took Rs. 666/- give me receipt of same...even called Call Centre on [protected] female called Swati attained the call as explained the scheme saying they accept cash only...now I have paid them - have receipt of same ...received the call from mobile no...[protected] - now both the mobile nos...are not available...what to say?                   "Thank u for using Videotone service on Airtel Wap. U have been charged Rs. 15." and then 15 rupees are reducted from my balance. I have facing the problem from February to till now. I have complained more than 50 times. Everytime they told me that "Your problem will be solved in 48 hrs." But it happens every month. Now I want to [censored] those who are in Bharti Airtel's curtomer care service. And I want to say 1 more to Airtel "You are the biggest FROUD."                   Airtel — cheating/fraud

                  i am a prepaid customer of airtel life time mobile no [protected]and i had misplaced my mobile n sim card on 22/11/2008.i was issued a new sim card with same number on 22/11/2008 with all proper verification and charged sim charges at pune airtel opp nehru momorial hall but in spite of calling customer care n visiting airtel office so many times the said connection is still not activated..this amounts to fraud n cheating by charging life time rent and sim charges the company is not activating the the mobile. i plan to file a police complanit and approach consumer court for compensation.
                  i had requested for deactivation of job alert services through airtel customer care executives 3-4 times every time i get an assurance that it would be done in 24 hours but inspite of that i am being charged and now whenever i try to contact ur customer care ex. they just disconnect the line and getting ur services deactivated through sms is not possible as ur service is hopless like ur executives my contact no. is [protected]

                  Issue still not resolved & nobody even contacted from your side...

                  I am just asking you to waive of 2 & half month rental cauz the connection was not working, but still its not resolved... How long will Airtel & its team will take to resolve this issue. I expected a better response time for your privileged customers (Using 6 Connections & the oldest one is at least 15 years old), but don't see anything happening from your side.

                    Airtel — ripping off and no customer service

                    Hi,

                    i have a cell phone connection with Airtel for the last past 3 months and since the time i have the number activated i have been having problem with the services, initially i had problems with my call and my msg's, my call would drop in less then 20 sec andmy msgs wrer not being delivered real time (either sent or received). complaint a number of times on the customer care but got no resolution, when called the guy who initially handed over the sim card to help me with a managers number from the service sector, He took more then a week and never responded with the number, when sent him couple of msg's to help me with the number but i still received no response when called him after a week he mentioned that he will call back and give the number, however never heard from him for the next week. I have had to call him again to request for the number, after which he gave me a number, when i called on the number the number happened to be of one of the managers from the sales team. When i naratted my story to him he mentioend he will give me a call later as he was busy that time, again the same thing. i had to wait for over a week but still didn receive any call, when called him again he said that he had spoken with the technical guys and resolved the issue which i failed to understand as i was still having problems. I had to give up on him and didnt know who could i contact to have my issue resolved. i am tired of typing down everything as i have naratted this to everybody in Airtel but no, i also requested for a number for the Nodal Officer, however dont seem to be getting connected.

                    Please have this issue resolved.

                          Hi,

                          My Airtel Broadband connection was suspended due to non payment of bill for about a month. I had a bill of around 3000 INR. I received a call from Airtel asking me to make a payment. After a long hard discussion they offered me 1000 INR waiver and asked me to make a payment of rest of the amount. They sent a representative the same day and collected the balance amount from my place.

                          The next month when i checked my Airtel bill, I found that I did not get any waivers and 1000 INR was reflecting as previous balance. I called the Airtel Customer Care to find out why this was not waived off. They informed me that there was no request for any such waiver raised.

                          Can anything be done regarding this? The problem is that I dont have any proof of that call. Is there a way I can challenge this?

                            I contacted airtel for broadband with request no BR849112 first they said its not available in my area and I said that to the confirmation call(from something 044*******) and after one day the guy who I talked first calls me and said it is available in that area and he came to my house A-54 khanpur and fill up the form(CAF no. 3172436) and took 1000rs(500installation+500service charges) and said will install in 3 days and now this is 7th day and he is not even attending my call now please tell me what to do i cant even take another connection now cause my 1000rs is stuck with Airtel and I dont think they will refund it so have to go with Airtel, never expected something like that with the so called best customer care company, Please suggest me something what to do in this case the airtel guy was Rajesh([protected])

                              Hi Sir/Madam,

                              I am Karthik Prakash mobile no:[protected], issue is regarding dealy in bill payment, payment made on 06/10/2012 Rs.1000 through online issue is amount is debited from bank account but still is not credited to airtel account it is almost 10days and also i am getting an threat messages on mobile say if i am not making on time connection will be cancelled and legal notification will sent itseems, I have raised many complete in Airtel also mail sent to nodal officer regarding the issue but they are not responding on the same, as there was no other option requested on this, hence request to do needful on the same, and please find the attachment for the bank statement for the proof which i made the payment for Rs.1000.
                              I think I'll get resolution on the same issue.

                                    Hi,
                                    I'm Vinoth from Coimbatore and my AIRTEL mobile number is [protected]. I have submitted Identity proof & Address proof when i got this number registered, March 2012.

                                    After 7 months, they called me and said to submit my documents again or else they would disconnect the service. I really don't know why the verification happening after a long time!!!

                                    I had submitted the documents in Airtel office and my resubmission Application No. is 20693357 on 11the Oct 2012.

                                    Eventhen i'm getting message says "As per government directive, we are withdrawing service for this number due to unsuccessful verification". When i checked with 121,they are saying to resubmit the documents.

                                    How many times i need to go airtel office to re-submit the documents again and again !

                                    Its frustating and really a mental torture, and i want to know to whom i can escalate for reason and to stop this!
