I am currently having Airtel broadband modem connection (customer no. [protected]). I made a bill payment of Rs. 2000/- by cash towards the broadband connection on 15th September, 2012 in Chandigarh (Receipt No.42684). The Airtel Bill I received for October (generated 10th Oct,2012)( bill #[protected], surprisingly added my September due amount by totally ignoring my payment of rs 2000/- .
On top of it, Airtel disconnected my broadband connection due to their failure of realizing the billing amount I paid for September.
I made a complaint over phone for not updating my payment on 16th of October (complaint #[protected], on same day I went to Airtel relationship center and had shown the original receipt of my payment. Following day i.e. on 17th October, I mailed Airtel the detail of my complaint along with the scanned copy of the receipt. Till date (28th October) no resolution has been given. I tried to call the customer care executives, most of the time they abruptly disconnect the calls midway failing to provide any proper explanation and whenever I email them in their 121 airtel mail id, I receive the same answer that Airtel will resolve this issue shortly and get in touch with me. I have to travel very frequently for my work and I have lots of pressure, it's not possible for me to follow up with them on everyday basis. It has been 12 days since original complaint I made, but I am still in dark if the amount has been updated in the system against my account
Airtel — connection not gioven and not refunding the money
I applied for a new broadband connection on 27th aug'07 at lucknow(U.P) for which I paid Rs 1200/- through cheque, I was not provided with the connection because of non-feasibility. Now I am asking for the refund of my money since 30th aug'07.Its been more than two months company has not returned my money. I called customer care so many times and even sent email also , everytime they give me new concern no and next time when I call them the previous concern is closed and new concern no is given. So far I have been given four concern no of which three concerns has been closed and a new one given to me today.
Sometime they say cheque has been dispatched and will reach in few days, sometime they say that I have paid only Rs 700/- according to their system. I had already provided them copy of reciept of payment and copy of account statement from which payment has been made to Bharti Airtel on 3rd sept'07 long time back. It seems as if they are not wishin to refund the amount.
