Hi I got the Fake call from pakistan at least country code say so (+92)
I got the call from number [protected] today. The person told me that I won a lottery of 25 lacs and asked me to give a return call so that I can be contacted to branch manager. though I didn't call back considering the fake call.

Please let me know what needs to be done Next? and can you please confirm that its not going to harm me anyway?

    I never expected this from BHARTI AIRTEL

    I have been charged Rs.40, Rs.20, Rs.15, Rs.90, in various days in the past one month, for activating useless Value Added Services th. Airtel Live(they say). I have got a Smartphone, with a good access to Internet. From time to time, it shows a Notification(useless) to download some or the other thing. In order to remove that notification from the bar, I have to click that once, but as the moment I (or some other person) click on that notification, I get an SMS, that you have been charged with Rs. ..... .... .... ..... many times.

    I know, the Company will not be affected much, if I change/convert my service provider to another, but I think, this case might be valid for many others also. SOME ACTION MUST BE TAKEN AGAINST THIS REGARD.

    Customer Care pe agar complaint karo to, pehle to wo itni der tak hold karake rakhte hain, aur fir 15-20 mins wait karne ke baad kehte hain, ki AAP PLEASE 4 HOURS KE BAAD CALL KARIYEGA, ABHI HAMARA SOFTWARE NAHI CHAL RAHA HAI.

    4 Hours ke baad dobara call karo to, call koi aur uthata hai... aur fir se use puri Kahani, starting se sunao and again the same reply, comes from the other side.

    Pehle Daaku luuta karte the desh ko Ghode pe aa kar, lekin ab......!!!!!!

        dear sir/madam,
        we have internet connection with a name of harish mahalwal . telephone no. is [protected] , account id 12492717 .we withdrawn our connection with them in march 2012 at that time they tell us to pay remaining rs 2700/- to clear balance and after that our connection will be cut by them so we paid to rohit mehni Representative of airtel rs2700/- cheque. cheque no. is 336184 bank of india, safdarjung enclave branch reciept no. 7584922 after that we get our closer no. from airtel i.e 701C09 .In march we take connection from mtnl. we are not using any service from airtel since then suddenly after some time we start getting call from airtel to pay pending amount for using internet usage from them .They tell us that we dont send a mail to them for closing of internet connection with them. we tell them on phone we got one confirmation no. from them i.e 701C09.
        Now they are harrasing us by telling us to submit bill or come to court for penelty. We dont know what to do so we decided to submit a complaint here please help us .

          AX IMALRT service is active by default and service continues unabatedly deducting the balance...121 service for stopping service seems to be an eyewash....i did not expect airtel to make such fraudulent deductions...this service has been the bane of many airtel subscribers but the company does not seem to care especially when its bringing it a bounty albeit by fraud...hope the TRAI takes note

            Hi,

            I am saurabh and I am using airtel no. [protected]. I just got a message informing me that I have chosen Mirchi FM and Rs. 10 have been charged for 7 days. I am alone to use my mobile and careful enough not to activate any VAS. I am unable to deactivate this. Please help me in deactivating this service and impose penalty on them for doing such activation without sending any request.

            Moreover, Airtel customer care service is totally absurd. They don't let you connect to any executive more than once a day and give absurd replies in that one and only call. So you'll end up in frustration calling 121. something needs to be done on this front too.

              I am Ramesh Nadiger and I have been using Airtel prepaid Mobile No. [protected] since 2008.And I am residing at Nellore in AP at present .The mobile was carried by my wife on[protected] and she was returning home from Childrens park as usual. Two bike riders came speedily and snatched her purse (held in her hand) in which a little money and mobile was kept within a fraction of second and fled away. It was clocking 8.00pm and dark in the evening, so she couldn't note the bike number.

                As per the request/option received on my mobile No [protected] from customer care of airtel, I have opted for conversion from prepaid to postpaid of 4 mobile numbers of my family members as under:
                1) mohan rao [protected]
                2) chandrika [protected]
                3) mahati kondapalli [protected]
                4) charvak kondapalli [protected]

                All the above numbers are of airtel service providers. As per my request the customer care department have sent Mr Venkat Reddy, Service executive of our area. Accordingly he has collected all the required documents alongwith photos and signatures somewhere around 22nd or 23rd of september, 12. All the four mobiles were activated on 27th september, 2012(from prepaid to post paid). I have received welcome letters for sl no 1,2 and 4 members. Again on 03rd October, 12 Sl No 2 and Sl No 4 have received messages(sms) for submission of id proof and address proof or else the services will be debarred. After getting assurance from venkat reddy we have ignored the message. Since 6 days the services for both 2 & 4 have been debarred, in spite of providing id proof and address proof of both the members for the second time. I have been calling No 121 regularly and explaining my problem to several service personal and other members who have received my call.The process of calling 121 and placing request for activation have been for 7 times. Again and again i have to put my enter case and tell that i have provided the id proof and address proof second time but no one has cared to solve my proble. Even I have requested them to revert all the four numbers from postpaid to prepaid as they are not in a position to solve my problem.


                Will you kindly look into the matter and settle my problem urgently.

                I applied for change of my connection from prepaid to postpaid on 30th July
                2011 at Hadapsar Pune Airtel office by giving necessary documents and paying Rs
                300 but it is yet to be done.

                from airtel customer care I came to know that my number is registered on someone else name since 2008.

                I have this number since 2005 almost for 6 years. Then how come the number is registered on someone else name from 2008. It looks like airtel has wrongly registerd my number in 2008 to abide regulatory compliance for registering all existing prepaid numbers.

                Its a gross violation of rules to register someone existing number against someone else name.

                Request you to rectify the mistake and change my prepaid number to postpaid. I have already given necessary documents and paid Rs. 300 for this change and got a new SIM card. Pl note that the postpaid number should be same as existing one.

                postpaid)

                Dear Sir/Ma'am,
                I had applied for conversion of my no. [protected] from Prepaid to Postpaid on 30/1/2013. I had been accordingly given a new sim and asked to wait until the verification of details was complete which would be done in the consequent days.
                Its been 2 weeks now, and even after all the verification is complete I have no clue as to what is the status of my mobile number's conversion status. Also, there has been no help offered on the customer care or from the Airtel Relationship Centre from where I got the new sim for postpaid service. All i get to hear is to wait since there is some issue with conversion.
                I wish this query to be solved within next 24 hrs else I might have to drag Airtel to Consumer Court for harassment and non fulfillment of the obligation after I've paid Rs. 300 for this conversion.

                Given a request for conversion of my mobile from pre-paid to post-paid on 23rd December 2013. Till data the conversion has not happened in-spite of visiting to Bharthi Airtel Head Office, Begumpet Hyderabad AP daily or calling a customer care executive daily. Every time your people say it will be resolved in 24/48 hours but it never happened. And every time whenever I raise a issue I need to explain my problem and provide them with all the details.


                My Queries are :
                Doesn't your system capable enough of getting customer info if I tell my mobile number. How many times I have approached to them and my problem.

                What is the SLA for resolving any issue? If there is any, why don't you publish it?

                Isn't there a system to log a complains directly from your web site?

                At least a mail address would have been good.

                Your executive says its a technical problem, provide us technical desk team contact media to approach them when it's not in executives scope.

                Why is Airtel providing the franchise to fake people who are irresponsible, who don't have minimum common scene to respond to customers call in-spite of calling repeatedly, after providing all the necessary documents and money.

                I requested Airtel prepaid to post-paid conversion on 26th Dec 2014. I have given Rs. 300 as deposit for activation and its been more than 10days and still it was not yet done. I tried calling the executive, he is not responding. Every time he will simply reply that, it will get activated today evening.

                I try to spoke your customer care very worst and pathetic, Customer care executive forwarding the call to post-paid CC and post-paid forwarding to prepaid. Customer care does not even ready to take complaint no and put my call on hold for 27 mins and disconnected. I am suffering a lot because of this.

                I have went to Aditya Mall, Indirapuram, Ghaziabad airtel centre 5-6 times and filled form and did all the formalities. But seam is not activated till now. I called them 100 times, they did not started verification process too.

                I have applied for prepaid to paostpaid conversion on 6/4/15 at Nit 3 faridabad office .usually the conversion takes hardly 1 day, but in my case it took 10 days. That too after daily visit to the office (NIT-3 near masjid). Somehow on 16/04/15, the service got started. I did the verification process by dailing 59059. Activated a 149 Booster pack and called a local friend. Few hours after the activation the signal went missing again. I rushed back to the sorted office leaving all my important work. They said I will have to swap the sum to a new one and within four hours the service get start but I am still debated . It's been more the 12 days since I applied for the conversion. This is worst pathetic service from air tel. They are still clueless about this issue. I really regret conversion. Please at least activate me number no matter it is prepaid.

                  ref my earliar mail in this connection also , i was advised me to approach customer care , i personally spoken to ur executive almost three times and requested them to change my phone registerd at the time of buying this connection. but nothing has been done, as my security aid whose moble no [protected] is registered with u is getting disturbed because o[censored]r usual habit of sending frequent sms .

                  i need to change my current airtl phone number because i get lot of bLAnk calls on it.please help as soon as possible

                  I am Raghunandan Jeurkar. I am having airtel prepaid card no.[protected] . Since 2 days, my number gets changed automatically. I never changed my sim card , but no. gets changed and if I call to my original no. ,it says "Switched off" . Because of this my all calls get blocked . there is no change in balance .the new no. which gets activated , having very low balance. I called to customer care , they say there is no such facility provided by Airtel . After some time , my no. gets activated again. Please give me solution.

                  Airtel — Activation of my new port in sim and torchering me

                  I have kept portin request into airtel on 8 agust 2011 from docomo. On 14 agust 2011 my number was rejected by docomo and changed into airtel. From 14 agust 2011 iam not able to receive or make calls. Though i requested to customer care they are wasting my time and money.

                  I am using airtel no [protected] from last 2-3 years today when i checked the balance it was showing 0 approx balance also my friends told that when they were calling me it was giving switched off message then i get it paper (scrach card) recharge with rs 30 top up then when i called my son he told me it was showing a different no ([protected]) then i was shocked i called customer care they have no answer then i inserted the same sim in another handset then i called and checked it was my no [protected] and bal was also rs 78 approx . then when i reinserted the sim in my old mobile it was again showing the different no [protected].
                  I checked the handset with different sim it was totally fine. How can a same sim showing different no with different balance in two different handsets.

                    i am user of airtel mobile phone since last five years,i am facing the problems of followup calls for payments,the customer care of this company is making around fifty to hundred call per day for bills payment which is very harrashing and mental torturing for making payments

                    what is this formula of mental harrashments which is not permissible by law

                          Recently I received a message from airtel which stated as follows - "Thank You for choosing ASK AN EXPERT on your airtel mobile. You have been charged Rs.30.0 for 30 days and your account balance post charging is Rs0.[protected] at 18:56."
                          I am absolutely sure that I did not activate any plans at that time. When I contacted their customer care. They said that I activated the plan via sms. Which I didnt as I veridied it by checking for sent messages. Airtel is eating up my balance by activating such plans without my knowledge. Sir it is my humble request that you look into this matter.

                          Airtel — unnecessary services which eat up my entire balance

                          I am an MBA student , I took an Airtel no , After 3 months there were some SMS on my phone about some services and they wrote in that "if you want to stop these sevices SMS 'stop' to this no" and when i did that msg came "the service cannot be stopped"
                          now it happened many times and now whenever i recharge my no. these messages come and eat up my whole balance, name of services are
                          1. AL ENTERTAINMENT
                          2. JOB ALERT
                          3. JOKES
                          etc
                          I am really frustrated , as i am a student i cant afford to recharge my no. every day.
                          I have tried calling customer care, but there is no option given to talk to Airtel people
                          please help me..

                          Same thing happened to me yesterday. I have been using airtel service for past three years and off late there services are becoming pathetic. Over this they even charge if you want to register a complaint with customer care. If this is not resolved I will stop using airtel. My complaint no. Pr[protected]
                          "Thank You for choosing ASK AN EXPERT on your airtel mobile. You have been charged Rs.30.0 for 30 days and your account balance post charging is Rs293.12 at 11:03.."when I called the AIRTEL CUSTOMER CARE executive...he is saying that I activated that plan...how that we educated ppl will do without our knowledge...they think us as fools or what...! I want my money back...n this case must not repeat again...!
                          I am very unhappy with the service you are providing now a days, and the fools you have employed at the service desks who do not know how to talk to the customer. I am travelling these days and am on roaming. This month I have been charged for Ask an expert twice which took 60 rs from my prepaid account without informing me or without my consent. When I asked about the same from your one of the service desk person who did not know how to talk to the customers replied that its not the airtel service. so for your information i checked on various forums and found that this is very well related to airtel. I would request you to look into this matter and refund all my amount which has been taken because of this unneeded service activation and also for future please stop all these service to be activated on my handset.

                                We have taken a PRI connection from AIRTEL in the m/o march 2009 the No.[protected] before this we had using land line nos.[protected] at the time of taking the connection we had told to him that 4009000 is our prime no. and the same had been purchased by us with Rs. 25000/- therefore we want this no. active they merged this no. with the PRI no. 4164000 with the facility that we can received all incoming call from this but outgoing is not possible with this no. now from the M/o April-2012 we made several request to him please demerge the land line no. 4009000 with pri and install to it separately but till today they had not resolved this issue. they only send to us reply that we can resolved your query within 24-48 hours but till now the 24-48 hours time not fulfill by them.

                                Please advice what action we can taken against him.

                                  ON 12 OCT 2012, I HAVE CALL TO CUSTOMER CARRER FOR STOP MASSAGING OF CRICKET, THAN CUT THE CALL I HAVE RECEIVED 05 MASSAGE FORM COMPANY THAT IT IS CUT BALANCE FOR HELLO TUNE OF Rs. 30/-, HELLO TUNE SELECTING CHARGE Rs. 15/-, AND SMS PACK RENUWAL CHARGE Rs. 26/- BUT I AM NOT SELECTING ANY THIS TYPE OF FECELITY, THAN I HAVE IMMDETAILY COMPLAINT ON CUSTOMER CERRIER, THEY WILL RETURN Rs. 30/- FOR CUT OF HELLO TUNE AND THEY SAY THAT NEVER RETURN BALANCE Rs. 26/- & Rs.15/-.

                                  I HAVE CALL MANY TIME BUT NO RESPONCE RECEIVED.

                                    Its been about a month since i bought nokia lumia 610 with which airtel promised free 2GB data at the speed of 3G . But till now i have been unabble to activate this service on my phone. I have contacted customer care & even even visited nokia care centre but to no avail.

                                    Dear Sir,

                                    I recently ported from Vodafone to Airtel having heard about its services.
                                    In spite of repeated complaints and sending multiple sms for Airtel 3G service activation, the service has not been activated on my mobile.Firstly, when i try to call their Customer-care from my mobile i don't get connected, then i have to call up from someone else's mobile and eventually when i do get connected, i get a response that this service would be activated in next 4 hours which in reality never happens.This has been happening for the past 7-10 days.I don't understand why Airtel boasts about its services especially its 3G service, when it cannot activate it in the first place.
                                    I rather port back to my original service provider i.e.Vodafone.

                                    Very very pathetic service by Airtel.

                                      Airtel executives has taken by my set top box with a promise to provide a refund of Rs. 1200/- against it on 26th August 2012. However till date no refund has been given to me. As it was taking too long and airtel was not responding properly, I wrote to them to return my set top box and install it so that i can start using it again.

                                      Shocking they have still not responded and are taking unduly long time in responding. Their call center is pathetic and does not provide any satisfactory service.

                                      Would advice all users to stay away from such a pathetic and negligent service provider.

                                      airtel dth services — Set top box not delivered & installed

                                      Dear Sir/ madam

                                      I had purchased an new Airtel DTH service for my home on 3rd of May 2009. I had been instructed to follow IVR instructions on their helpline and make the payment of Rs. 1800 through my credit card. I did so and made the payment of Rs. 1800. they gave me a transaction Id (transaction Id # 8595163), later they called and confirmed my address also. Today 4 days have passed I have not received any calls or communication from them. Neither has the connection been installed. I have made a number of calls to the customer care, but no favorable reply was received. they would put me on hold and then later disconnect the call. Kindly advise and help with the problem.

                                      same is the problem i am facing, you guys make ultra tall claims, i paid for over 3000 rs for a hd connection, the guy said we will process it the same day...leave that day no one called me even to inform about the customer id next day even . there is no differences in you guys as of now after 2 years in 2011. when i called next day on 7th june (next day) all i got to know was that no update was made to my profile(customer id [protected])...u guys suck till date(today on 12/6/2011) all i get to know is we have forwarded the details...blah blah...On top of that when i ask for a refund i am told it will again take 10 days(was shamelessly told that i can take my money back)...yukk...why the hell do u guys take our money if cant install in 48 hrs or refund it in a day.?

                                      Your comments are same as can be expected from a typical customer service team, where only promises are made but never delivered. It has been two weeks and nobody from you have even talked to me regarding this matter, forget about the solution.

                                      The issue raised by me is a straight forward where either you have to refund the money to me (First & Preferred choice) or install back the set top box (last resort). I fail to understand what kind of a different solution your team is working upon. Is this the standard of Airtel in today's competitive environment?

                                      Reality is that now your call center has even stopped responding to my mails. I have today escalated this to your nodal officer. God only know, whether even this will help me or not.

                                      Above issue has made me determined not to use any of the airtel service in future.

                                        Our broadband & phone connection (Account No. [protected]) have not been working since 25th September 2012 till today (13th October 2012) and maybe it wont work at all ( Until we file a case with consumer court).

                                        The customer service is a joke, they talk sweetly and assure you that the issue will be resolved and throw our complaint into trash and forget about it.
                                        When you try to follow up, they say they will "escalate" (joke again) and then forget about it.

                                        We have been to their "main" office on Bannerghatta Road where things are even more pathetic, we saw customers breaking their computers out of frustration. In main office, you can find ignorant staff, who just don't care. If you shout at them, then they will try to respond but only start to give reasons like: "We don't have forms, come again", "I don't have login details to access your details", "The service person is on leave", "This issue is already escalated (so, we don't care)" etc.

                                        We are a small software startup , who got conned by Airtel's Broadband offers and took connection. Our services have gone haywire due to constant issues with Airtel Broadband and Phone.

                                        NEVER GO FOR AIRTEL BROADBAND/ LANDLINE if you wish to use internet to come up in life.

                                        Its Better with BSNL, even if they don't talk "sweetly", they feel responsible and fix things unlike Airtel Personnel - (Who just don't care) and keep blaming among themselves that it was his or her responsibility.

                                        Our phone still doesn't work. Again we just get canned responses like the one above.
                                        Yes, our issue is resolved now.
