R/sir,
I am customer of airtel and i have submitted documents for porting of my airtel no. [protected] 3 aug.2011 from airtel to idea but without any taking my request airtel has rejected my request. I have call lot of time help desk 121, 198. i have complaint to both appellete airtel and idea. both gave me 72 hours time but till today my mobile no. did not port from airtel to idea.

I request you to take strictly action avout this matter and to port my mobile no. [protected] from airtel to idea.

    I have been facing problems in porting out, from Airtel to Vodafone since last 2 months.I have applied twice for porting out, and everytime they reject the my Portout request for no reason. FInally they gave me a answer that, I cannot port out because I am in a CUG.
    I dont understand, how do this Airtel people find these reasons.
    Totally frustrated and I want relief from this issue, please help me.

    my airtel mobile number is [protected].Airtel deducted my balance without my knowledge and information.after that i was applying for mobile number port out.then from Airtel one of their executive call me and told me to stay with Airtel.but i dont want to stay with airtel any more and they not releasing my portout.everyday i recharge a certain amount they deducted slowly by surely.when ever i call customer care they have different stories to tell me.

    please shortout my problem.

      my 3 years old lifetime airtel no was[protected], suddenly it was shut when i charged around 100/rs for net and other call.
      I raised a complain here, some body from airtel called me, talked useless.

      No body from airtel came up.it seems all the malpractice is their right.

      I want my money back.

        When searched on the net, I found that this number is from Pakistan.

        So Please take nessearry step about this mobile no. which is from pakistan.

          hi to whom so evr it may concern

          i am [protected],

          i am getting nusense messages, shaayari , ads, subscription which cost 2 rs per day without any confirmation and i even don't know what for its been deducted .
          and airtel customer care people are irritating me when i call them for help, provided they even charge for that unfinished call as 50 paise per minute. so i think airtel is trying to bug people by charging for creating inconvenience to customer and also to clear it.

            Dear Sir,

            I got recharges my airtel prepaid mobile no [protected] from a shop for Rs 299/- and I got only Rs. 1/- .The recharge was done on 22.08.2011 at 09:54 pm and trans id is[protected].I got an SMS the same afternon "recharge with 299/- and get full talktime.Offer valid for 30 days". Henceforth I recharged it for Rs 299/-. It happend with me twice, is this the policy of airtel to cheat their customers if yes should is switch to any other network and leave airtel. I belive that you will revert on this issue on very urgent basis, and will return balance into my mobile number
            Kindly refund my amount back or I shall report the matter to senior authority.

              Hello,

              I am writing this with a lot of frustration and helplessness. I had an airtel fixedline/broadband connection with airtel until May 2011, when I requested for shifting my connection and airtel failed to shift the connection in time and despite reminders they failed to do so again and again. With poor service and long list of issues with airtell and failure of shifting the connection in time, I decided to disconnect the airtel broadband connection and requested airtel to do so and send me a final settlement statement with adjustment made for my deposit which needed to be refunded. Airtel managed to disconnect the service, that too with some delay, but I never heard back on final settlement from them, though they reminded me of bill amount while shifting but nothing after all the disputes.

              Until date I have spoken to airtel people several times and also written a couple of emails to movers.[protected]@airtel.in but have failed to get any response.

              I am not sure what to do, but I receive some calls from random numbers asking me to settle my bill with airtel.

              1. I have not received any final settlement from airtel.
              2. With such a poor service from airtel, all I have asked for is that I will make payment after final dues are adjusted to one single amount, but I dont know why airtel has never reverted.
              3. I am really harassed by n number of calls from airtel and irresponsive behavior from their reps.

              Kindly log this as a serious complaint and take necessary steps to close the issue so that I dont feel harassed again by airtel.

              I would like to close this ASAP and need final confirmation on disconnection as I still keep getting survey calls and marketing calls from Airtel for the number in subject.

              I will request you to send me a note in writing with all the closure and disconnection letter as despite several calls where you have ensured that the connection is not active, I dont think its really updated well in all your systems.

              Would really appreciate a little worthwhile service for once.

              First of all you should know who your customer is. Sorry to say, it seems completely irrelevant to you.

              My name is pankaj garg. I was using Airtel connection and found that it is the worse thing can happen to anyone. I deactivated my connection in aug but they kept sending the bills and even after making the payments just because of the threatening calla from Airtel. They have not send me the final statment.               Here it is not clear that minute are for howmuch period of time. Where is within one month or so period unutilised mins has leapes from my account, We have on objection about the terms of Scheme but it is prime duty of company to disclose all terms and conditions.

                IPTV is the most horrible thing to have happened to me. I took the IPTV connection in April 11 and it stopped working on 11th Aug 11. On 12th I raised an SR2243332 to Airtel. Their technical man came and said that the set top box is not working and that many people in the area are facing this problem. It is over 10 days now and I have raised several SRs but the IPTV is still not working as the set.

                I have paid Rs. 1750 as installation charges in April 11 for a product which stops working in just 3 months and then there is no after sales support. The technician simply tells that the IPTV set top box is not available and that he has no idea when it would come.

                I demand refund of my amount so that I can buy some other service. In case Airtel does not resolve my complaint in2 days, else I would be forced to go to the consumer court and claim damages.

                I have got IPTV installed at my home which is not working for the past 4 days. Repeated complaints to the customer care have yeilded no results. No one has attended the complaint till now and speaking to the senior supervisors at the cust care is also to no avial. My complaint number is 45071514. Since the IPTV has landline, broadband and DTH, none is working causing a lot of inconvineince to me and my family.

                The issue has not been resolved, as can be read from the mail below. Stop closing it before resolving it.Adjust the bill for the period the services were not provided and look into the bad signal problem which causes frequent disruption in broadband.

                At the outset, my complaint regarding the waiver of bill has not been looked into, neither have you mentioned it so as such in your reply. Can you provide an update on the same. (refer to the mail below and kindly READ it[protected], 45165970.
                To simplify, this means that you have not replied satisfactorily.

                Secondly, the issue regarding constant disruption in broadband has not been looked into either[protected]. Even now the signal keeps going leaving the broadband page in error. To simplify, this means that you have again not replied satisfactorily and trying to get rid of the complaint by saying this has been resolved. Typical behavior I would say as I have been at the receiving end of it ever since I booked a connection from Airtel.

                Can this "resolved to your satisfaction" game be stopped playing as I can not see how a issue when not even looked into can be resolved to my satisfaction.

                Please come back to me with some proper resolution and not a sample of the mail below.

                  This is with reference to follow-up going on for below mail trail for last 2 months. I was

                  provided surety a month back from head quarters Gurgaon. Mdm Salin Pushpam called me a month

                  before and assured that she will get this done by Hyderabad Engg Team, still things have not

                  moved forward. I am really feeling sorry to use these words that you people are not capable

                  of doing this simple installation job.

                  I see things are at same place without any progress. This is really disappointing that

                  company employees who are even working in head office are incompetent to get the work done.
                  I am member of welfare society of my building and checked with secretary and found none of

                  Airtel Hyderabad engineering team has approached them for putting up connection from

                  junction box to our building. Our building has 34 apartments and neighbor building is

                  already using Airtel Wire internet.
                  Before I paid the advance payments for installation I was told that there is no feasibility

                  issue and I can go ahead and pay for new internet connection. But to my surprise it’s now

                  going to be three months.
                  I had paid advance of 1200 vide cheque on 22nd June, 2011 and for which also have the

                  receipt. I also got sms three months back that installation will be done ..
                  I am unable to go ahead with other internet connection because of you guys. I am suffering a

                  lot as un availability of internet. Now let me know if you guys are going to refund the

                  money without any legal processing or you want me to go ahead with FIR for same.


                  The Consumer Protection Act, 1986 you are given notice to either complete installation with

                  in this week before 26 Aug or refund my amount. Let me know in which form you want to send

                  refund.

                  Airtel Broadband — Broadband connection delayed by 1 month

                  I applied for a broadband connection from airtel with the following details:
                  Name: Ujjal Sarmah
                  Mobile: [protected]
                  Airtel CEF number: 2786635
                  Applied on: 16-July-2011
                  Amount Paid: Rs 500/-
                  I was promised by airtel that the connection will be activated with 3-4 working days. Now it's been more than 1 month past but I still don't have the connection at my home.
                  I have submitted about 5 complaints to airtel customer care, and each time they only gives false promises saying that your case has been prioritized and will be resolved as soon as possible. There is a complete mail chain with the customer care and still they are giving false promises. I need your help to get the problem resolved. It is a harassment as I relied on them for the connection which is very necessary for me at my home, otherwise I could have opted other vendors.

                    Sir, for the last about four years I have been suscribing to the Airtel Land line no-[protected] and later we also opted by its broadband.But in the month of Aril 2011 (tentatively) the Airtel through its representative called us and offered the service of IPTV broadband with call faciilty which suited to me and i agreed .In the month of June they insatalled the instrument and i paid AIRTEL checque of Rs-1750/- vide cheque no-885181 Axis bank Khan market which cleared in the account of Airtel on 10/06/2011.They gave me the service. But on 27/06/2011 vide bill no[protected] Airtel sent me a bill demanding Rs 3574.47 in which they charged again Rs 1750/-installation chagre which i had already paid as above. They also charged Rs-25 for film "Udan " which was free .They added late fee of Rs75/- on which they levied taxes of rs 326.79 thus the whole bill totalling 3574.47/- I contacted Airtel customer service and brought the unfair exaggerated bill in their notice.Then realized their fault and assured the send me revised bill.But till now I have not received the corrected bill though I have brought this indiscrepencies in the notice of Airtel.Some complaint numbers are 48971360 dated 16/07/11, 4907242 dated 21/07/11 and 2469744 dated 18/08/11. All the time Airtel assured that they are sending me the corrected bill deducting all the overcharges but till now they have not settled the bill. Now i have been bringing this again in the notice of Airtel through this complaint .Please give me the correct bill in place of wrong exaggerated bill and relieve me from undue financial liabilities.Regards .Prabha Ojaswi

                      Airtel/Mobile Office — Mobile office not working on my laptop 9831282021

                      I am not able to connect mobile office on my laptob. If this problem not solve within 24 hour then i will have to leave the airtel connection because for me first impression is last impression. And i am only consumer, pay and use the formula for me. I don't have timd to complain.

                      FOR THE BILL CYCLE 17 AUG 09 TO 16 SEPT. 09 RECEIVED BILL WITH VALUVE ADDED CHARGES OF 198/- , WHICH IS ACTUALLY NOT AT ALL USED BY ME. THE DEALER, ON CONTECTING SHOWS ME THE ENTRIES OF VAS IN THEIR RECORDS. BUT I AM SURE THAT I HAVE NOT USED ANY VAS THROUGH MY MOBILE. I AM READY TO PAY REST OF AMOUNT.
                      I SUBMITTED COMPLAIN APP. 10 DAYS BACK , BUT TILL TODAY NO ANY RESPONCE HEARD FROM THE AIRTEL.

                        I activated airtel gprs Rs 98 plan for free data usage upto 2 GB on 11th July, 2011.
                        After activating it, I found out that a considerable amount was getting added onto my unbilled amount every day.
                        I called the customer care executive expressing my concern about this.
                        They replied that there was no need to worry and that these amounts will get added on as unbilled amount but when the bill is generated only 98 rupees will be charged for internet if my data usage is within 2 GB.
                        My credit limit is Rs. 1500.
                        Now when the bill was generated at the end of the billing period, that is, on 06th August 2011, I was shocked to find it to be Rs. 15528.11
                        The amount on account of my call usage charges and bill period charges was around Rs 324, and the rest was all internet charges.
                        On scrutinizing my bill and calling the customer care executive I got to know that internet browsing through airtelgprs.com was covered under the plan I activated and that browsing through WAP_ALL (Airtel Live) was to be charged(Which was never told by customer care executive when I taken the Rs 98 GPRS plan).
                        But my point is that my credit Limit is Rs 1500, so airtel should have intimated me when I crossed it. Instead they waited for the entire month for me to accumulate more and more Data charges and slapped this bill of Rs 15528.11 on my face. The normal data charges are Rs 20kb/30paise. So if I would have thought of spending my entire 2 GB usage, my bill would have been around Rs 31000.
                        The Customer care executive, who clarified my bill details, transferred the call to her floor manager. On telling the floor manager that as my credit Limit is Rs 1500 why should I get a bill of Rs 15528.11 and explaining her gprs usages, she offered to waive my bill.
                        I wrote a mail to [protected]@in.airtel.com and nodalofficer.[protected]@airtel.in , appellate.[protected]@airtel.in explaining my issue, but got no reply till date.
                        My point here again is why did airtel wait for my usage to reach up to Rs 15528.11 to intimate me and not when it just reached my credit Limit of Rs 1500?
                        Airtel barred outgoing from my mobile on 9th August, 2011, as if they finally realized that I had exceeded my Credit Limit of Rs 1500. Please provide a fruitful solution for my billing issue and also ask Airtel to make their billing system transparent so that whenever a person exceeds his credit limit, he should be intimated then and there instead of waiting the amount to get accumulated to manifolds the actual credit Limit.

                        stating that they have checked and established that the charges levied against GPRS usage are correct and valid.. Hence, the account in question does not qualify for any other credit adjustment to be processed with.

                        My question is You may have a foolproof billing system and there is no manual intervention in it.
                        But when I found out that a considerable amount was getting added onto my unbilled amount every day.
                        I called ur customer care executive expressing my concern about this.
                        They replied that there was no need to worry and that these amounts will get added on as unbilled amount but when the bill is generated only 98 rupees will be charged for internet if my data usage is within 2 GB.
                        Why they didn't told me that time?
                        Also, my credit limit is Rs. 1500, so u should have intimated me when I crossed it. Instead u waited for the entire month for me to accumulate more and more Data charges.
                        Is this a foolproof billing system?

                        Yesterday, Airtel Customer Care Executive Called me & told to pay the full billing amount and they are not ready to listen my problem... Till now, no solution has provided by airtel authority...now i may have to move to consumer court...

                          today i have download some Application from OVI Nokia, and you must know this is free for nokia hand set user. From OVI nokia hand set user can download many Application without any charges only net charges will be aplicable if customer have already GPRS facilicity, it will be free of cost.
                          Then today why Airtel have commited this fraud and illegally deduted Rs. 70 from my prepaid.
                          this is not the first time before i was the user of Airtel and my Last cell num,ber was [protected], the same matter was in this case and when i have log complain your customer care executive was not ready to entertain my complain, when he ready to listen he said you have downloaded CRiket game.
                          i said when i have to go to check my NOKIA e63, and remember on thing in this cell phone download Accelator is already installed and this software take record of evey downloading and there is no any file.
                          finally Airtel had return my money, but i was very exhaust with Airtel and this number i have been close.
                          Kindly investigate it and return my money because i already have forward this mail to my Advocate.

                              As per my complaint[protected] to the Nodal officer Kerala Circle, I receive a call from your side on 19/08/2011—11:33am from [protected] informing me that it was a call from Nodal officer Kerala Circle and it was to inform me that my complaint is resolved.
                              Later I noticed that, he may cheat me by giving a false commitment (Never expect from a Nodal-Officer).So I made a call to the customer care on the same day and talk to Mr.Shaji (Floor Supervisor), he informed me that he may re register my complaint (My new complaint no:[protected] and he assured that once he was alive for the next 24 hours my issue was resolved (The best joke, I heard in this year)
                              By 20/08/2011-4:51pm I receive another call from [protected] your technical team (they told so) they inform me that my issue is resolved. From my past experience I know that they surely cheat me (Since the call is generated from AirTel DTH Team) Later I understand that my expectation was right
                              Losing all hope on your side I again made a call to Customer care (hope that should be by 100th call to the customer care regarding the same issue) on 20/08/2011by 6:30pm, from there I receive the most shocking message. They inform me that they can’t solve my issue because they are mere trainees. I request them to connect to any of the senior executives, but none will be interested on my issue. I sent more than twenty HELP SMS to the customer care, by this time I didn’t receive any call from your side.
                              As per your SMS to my mobile on 19/08/2011 by 03:07pm Validity of my service may expire on mid night of the same day. But from 15/08/2011 onwards am unable to view any of your channels. You are reducing amount from my main account at the rate of rupees 4.71per day. So totally I lose rupees 23.55(4.71x5days) from my main account till 19/08/2011 without providing any service to me. I never expect the same from brand like “AIRTEL” --cheating the customer in the worst manner.
                              Once I understand that my balance is low, I recharge my account on 13/08/2011 by 4:43pm for rupees 1721/-(410days validity offer).So with more money on my account and with more validity, Why you guys play game on me?
                              I feel too pity on your team, Are you guys work with the motto to spoil the brand Image of AIRTEL….???? I assure you, if you are using the same team-- within a short span of time AirTel DTH Services is wiped out from the Industry
                              Every time I call your customer service, they inform me to SWITCH ON the STB for one hour and they told me some issues, even the LKG student may understand that they are lying. Apart from my money I lose from my main account, I lose money for electricity charges (in order to keep the STB “ON” for more than one hour a day) and the most valuable thing –“TIME” (from 17/08/2011 to till date).

                              This should be my final mail to your side, by believing that at least one person in the AirTel team who should show some responsibility towards his job, else the position he is handling (at least the salary he is drawing). If my mail may reach that person sometimes my issue is to be resolved. If it does not happen, with in short span of time, you guys can search for better jobs in some other concern because without customers how can you exist….????

                                My Airtel prepaid no. is [protected].


                                1. since 20th August 2011, my account refuses to get recharged by both easy recharge and voucher recharge. I complaint this problem to Customer care on 21st Aug and they asked me to type 'TM' and send to 404.
                                404 replied 'U are currently enjoying a special tariff/sms benefit. which will not be carried forward to the new plan benefit of the current plan'. Problem not solved.

                                2. I could not get connected to Customer care (198,12131,121) for one month. I complained many times and they promises it will get resolved in 2 days. But the problem persist still.

                                Airtel Prepaid — recharge not working

                                my no is [protected] i recharged for 53rs msg card for one month but after two days its not working now so i made a complaint but no action ve been taken i continuously calling for 3 days to c care but they are not responding well so it totally make me more irritate and hesitate to call again to airtel
                                Tel [protected] converted to prepaid from post paid. Charged for Rs.222/- Recharge confirmed through sms. Now no outgoing.

                                    i am using an airtel number
                                    my SMS dont go on 3G(umts) network...i have checked and corrected the centre number as well.
                                    this happens with every cellphone i insert the sim in.

                                    From my pre-paid airtel number +[protected], I have not been able to send SMS. I am able to send SMS but not able to send replies at all.
