Hi Team,

This is to bring to your notice that attached bill is still showing an amount of INR 1537 as due for last month. I had also called up on the customer care but seems like they were least bothered to fix my concern.

To give you an overview, my Airtel IPTV connection was not working for the entire month of June for which I have 11 different ticket numbers (mentioned below).

436922 - On May 30th
[protected] On June 04th
[protected] On June 05th
[protected] On June 14th
[protected] On June 17th (This is call reference number, as ticket number was not provided by the agent)
[protected] June 18th
[protected] June 20th
[protected] June 21st
[protected] June 22nd
[protected] June 26th
[protected] June 30th

Finally issue was fixed on July 05th. During entire month of June, I was harashed by numerous phone calls stating again and again that my issue will be fixed (since I also work in a call center and sleep during day time),attending those calls was no less than a night mare for me.

I also got a confirmation call after July 05th from Airtel executive to check if my connection was working fine and since I somehow knew that next thing coming my way is the monthly bill, I did asked that exective to ensure that I am not charged for the duration my connection was not working & he assured me the same.

Now, from last 10 days I am getting call from Airtel on daily basis asking why I have not deposited the amount and everytime I have to tell them the complete story. This is again no less than harrsment as they don't even look at the history of customer before calling and all they are concerned about is damn bill. Is that how AIRTEL takes care of their customers??

Atlast, today (August 17th) I decided to walk upto Airtel store in hope of a solution, irony of my life... system was not working there. Lady executive over there noted my concern and all details (including above mentioned ticket numbers) and ensure me that she will call back in next 1 hour and that never happened. Since, I am in need... I again went to the Airtel Store (almost after 3 Hours) and by that time Lady executive had already left. Another Person Anil Verma assured me a call back tomorrow, lets see what happens next........

Meanwhile, I just thought I should write to all airtel departements in hope that someone will read this email and will help me.

Thanks for acknowledging my concern, however just wanted to inform you that... I have still not received any update from the Airtel Store (Sahara Mall, Gurgaon) I visited yesterday. I called Anil twice and did send him an SMS... still no update.

Please help me get the waiver for period my connection was not working & meanwhile if you can get my connection started again as it has stopped working from last two days (seems like disconnected). Due to unavailability of Broadband, I am unable to check my official emails which are in turn hampering my work.

Rakesh - Is anyone really looking into my billing concern? As mentioned in my complaint above, I walked up to Airtel Store assuming that they will have some extra privileges but seems like their situation is even worse than a call center executive. Till Date I have not received any concrete answer from them.

Secondly, a new harassment has started from Airtel... I am getting calls from unknown numbers and they are asking if we can come to collect bill. A person by name Sharaft called me this morning (# [protected]) and asked me if he can come to collect the bill and was rude, I again got a call around 3.30 PM from number [protected] and same story.

If this is how Airtel wants to treat their customer, than I think the only Option I am left with is to file a harassment & incorrect billing case in consumer court against Airtel Service.

This is my worst experience with Airtel till date.

Rakesh - I don't think that anyone is really working to get my issue fixed because my connection has been disconnected from last 4 days. Is that what satisfaction means in your dictionary. I am sorry for my language but now I am really frustrated.

Resolved??? By whom? I did received a call from airtel today and was told that adjustments will be done within next 90 days period. So until I get to know the revised amount I need to pay... This concern will remain unresolved for me. Lady who called me did not gave any surety and herself was very confused. Is that what you term as resolved???

Here I come again after 8 months with the same issue.

My IPTV (land line number[protected] has stopped working again. To bring to your notice, I raised a ticket[protected] on 18th Feb 2012 and finally a engineer (Rakesh) visited my place yesterday on 22nd Feb. I was told that a new connection has been allotted to someone else and line port where my connection was patched has been given to him now, due to which my connection has stopped working. I wonder how a company can do this, is that how you treat your old customers (I have this IPTV connection for almost 1.5 years now)?

Anyhow, I was assured that my connection will be fixed from the back end. No one bothered to provide an update and finally I decided to call Rakesh who visited my place & I was told that connection cannot be fixed and you get the IPTV connection closed permanently. I was shocked to hear the response from his side.

I then decided to call customer care to report this issue (spoken to Priyanka) and no wonder I got to hear a different story. My Ticket 11854036 was closed with a status that there is a problem with the electrical line. What kind of crap is this? Rakesh, who did not even bother to visit inside my house made conclusion on his own that there is a electrical fault? What the hell electrical fault has to do with the Airtel IPTV connection when my TV, Modem, Setup BOX are functional and well attached to the electric board. Since that ticket was closed, I am not allotted a new ticket number 12070196.

Airtel Team, pleaseeeeeee... I have seen this in past and DO NOT wish to go through this all again. I had faced a similar issue about 8 months back, my IPTV was not working for more than a month and I was charged for the entire duration my connection was down (now thats a smart way to earn money, provide connection which does not work and than continue charging to the customer).

I want some responsible person to look into my issue and get it fixed at the earliest.

    I have a broadband connection. Earlier my plan was Impatience plan with 4Mbps and 50 GB download limit FUP. Then I requested it to be upgraded to Turbo 150 GB download limit FUP and they said they did that. That was 2 months back.

    Today I got a mail from Airtel saying my 25 GB quota is over and for the rest of the billing cycle my speed will go down to 256kbps.

    Are these freaking retards kidding me? My plan is 150 GB not 25 GB. I asked them to UPGRADE to 150 GB and those bloody DOWNGRADED it to 25 GB.

    I have been trying to call the customer care for past 1 hour. Each time it takes 5 minutes to get through to one of those so called customer care executives and then they put me on hold while they pull up some data and it gets disconnected every time. Can you believe them? Each time they put me on hold - bam - I lose connection. Airtel is starting to suck donkey balls.

    Does anyone know how's other broadband services in Bangalore? How is this Tikona broadband? They used to call me up daily and I chose Airtel over them but now I see I might have made the wrong choice.

      Hi Sir, I am using Airtel from almost 7 years and of late I am facing a lot of problems with their service. In fact they have been very very irresponsible in treating their loyal customers in a very bad way....
      Today I recharged my monthly GPRS pack of Rs. 98 and to my surprise i noticed that i got only 1 GB of data usage!!! All this time I used to get 2GB... 50% reduction... or to say 50% Hike in tari[censored] and without any intimation??? I am very upset and seriously thinking of porting to other operator...
      When they know that this kind of schemes affect their loyal customers I strongly feel that they are obligated to at least send an SMS saying that from next recharge you will get 50% reduced data usage... but no when I spoke to their customer executive he, after hearing my grievances, transferred my call to the area supervisor and he started all over again asking my problem and then said he can't go nothing... and it was changed some two days ago... strange...
      During this neck to neck competition between the operators, Airtel is the only provider who does not care about the customers. We have always come to learn that competition between services benefits the consumers... but alas not with Airtel. Tata Docomo is giving 4GB for 98, Aircel Unlimited for 98 and Airtel 1GB is too bad.

        false promotion offer given by customer care
        this was the time i called up customer care for upgrading DTH annual subscription, i was informed by customer care, that you recharge for 325 rupee and you get 350 rupee after 48 hours to your account, he even confirmed that you can do this multiple transaction and each transaction will have 25 bonus rupee reflected in your account. just that i have to recharge every time with 325 rupee. done!
        i asked him to reconfirm on the same, fair, he placed me on HOLD for a minute and double confirm about above offer. it took 45 mins that evening for me to do 7 * 325 transaction to reach 2100 rupee. latter once all set, i called up customer care, now its shocking they rejected to provide me the offer which they said from there mouth, how shameful. airtel is rumbling bumbling there client they give about there valuable time.

        nodal was one more pathetic experience, the person who came on support from nodal sounded more like DON and came over phone to say conclusion that we can't do anything PERIOD.

        its sad that such brand value company are making profits by servicing bad to worst of support, i would be please to leave airtel and jump to other service provider who has meaning and give little importance to there customers. i would insist others to also avoid airtel , its no good dht company compared to tatasky or reliance dth.

        also DON"T EXPECT NODAL TO HEAR YOUR VOICE, THEY ARE NO GOOD COMPARING AIRTEL CUSTOMER CARE.

        WHAT A SHAME !!! WHAT A SHAME...
        MR. Naveen you called up 3 times to me and said we are looking into the matter, we agreed upon the deadline till 15th aug, wondering what made airtel to say you solved my issue. IT SOOO DIRTY TRICK SIR. Also isn't it awful, that u need so many weeks to resolve small small tiny matter ?

        NODEL IS AWFUL, even corporate team are among the one. All same team i guess.

        I Would suggest everyone to AVOID AIRTEL DTH connection, These people are luring by pathetic customer support and even continued to show there lame support. They have no sense what they are dealing on and offering fake discounts offer's to consumer which they reject after accepting the payment.. Lets unite and avoid airtel, they are really no good compare to others.

        airtel got back saying we are giving u 175 rupess on note of gesture.
        this is funny, they give promotion offers and reject the same offer in no time and when escalate they come back with a favor... SIR I DON"T NEED YOUR SYMPATHY.
        FIX YOUR support SYSTEM FIRST, and then do a favor and don't the MARK issues AS RESOLVED until its fixed...

          Airtel — Ridiculous customer care service!

          I had a outstanding bill of 1783 from jan08, and i dint make payment as i had issues with the call charges applied in the bill and also i had spoken with airtel customer care regarding changing my mob no. to prepaid no., i dint get any proper responce from customer care which forced me to stop making payment.
          I received a call from airtel(mr alok) and he after listening to my complaint, setteled the billing amount to 1000 and asked me to pay the same day, so that airtel can issue a noc and get my No. changed to prepaid, i made the payment on same day and updated mr alok and also updated him the receipt no:[protected], he assured me that in a day or two i will get a noc and then i can aproach any airtel outlet and get my no converted, but i dint receive any update till yet
          i have also tried aproaching customer care, but they say we dont have any update and i wil;l have to make the balance payment to get my no activated and changed.
          please HELP
          I am having hell lot of problems with customer care and also with airtel providers as such... They are a pain in the neck... I did not opt for any hello tune service, but i had two times deducted with the amount. And also the sms fecility is bad... Even for a local sms.. They charge rupees two.. This has happned number of times... When i try to contact the customer care guys... They listen to everything and later disconnect the call.. And when i exceed three times to reach and talk to them... All i get to know is ".. To know ur balance, press *123*8#".. What a ridiculout service it is. I want my money to be credited in my accouint and also know why u people do such things... Also tell me about the sms thing... If i am not getting my answer, i have to take action against you guys, i have to complaint to the customer complaint cell... I am very serious on this matter. Talk to me and resolve this matter asap.

            I raised a disconnection request on on[protected] and confirmation of the same
            has been received on[protected]. And it is informed that within 7 days it will be disconnected. I wrote the second mail(reminder) for disconnection on[protected]. I wrote the third mail(reminder) for disconnection on[protected], and everytime they are sending "We regret the inconvenience caused to you" mail. I called up customer care multiple times; but no effect. Airtel is cheating its customer, because I have to pay the rental, till it finally got disconnected.

            Below is the mail thread:

            It is nearing a month after the disconnection request, I called up multiple times the customer care and this is the 4th reminder mail I am sending to you.

              sir,mai ap ka 1 sal se air tel digital tv custmer hu. mera custmer id number he [protected] . pichale kuch dinose hum apki compani ki service se bahut naraj hai.gay mahine me mai ne ap ki call center mai audio ki problem ki vajah se complent kiya tha. 15 din tak me ap ki call center or service center me phone karne ke bad ap ke service center wale ake mera set top box change karke gaye. per oh set top box kuch ghante me hi band pada. maine phir se ap ki call center mai complent darge ki per muze 7 din tak call center or service center me phone karne pade.22 din tak mera tv set band raha or muze bahut pareshani bhi saheni padi. abhi maine 14th aug. ko 22 din ke refund ke liye complent ki he.per complen ke 3 din ke bad bhi muze refund nahi mila. sir aj competition bahut badhi he or aise me ap ki company es tarah se service deti he to jald hi ap ke company ka diwala nikal jayega.

              Hopeless customer services and response to customer.
              I am an airtel Digital TV user and my customer id is [protected].
              there was problem in signal to setup box. I have registered the complain to customer care. then they told me that their representative will come tomorrow. tomorrow when nobody came i again called then they told me again for tomorrow. After 2 days, one of them had come and he said he cant rectify the problem. i asked for the senior fellow if he could do that. then he gave me the number which was going switch off. Such an fellow he was that he doesnt know how to go to the signal settings in TV.
              Horrible experience.
              Dont buy this.

                Hi Team,

                Please note that my Mobile Postpaid amount of Rs.1189.26 is totally
                unacceptable for the Month July-Aug. My Mob no is [protected].

                I have taken 299 postpaid plan in which I was told that I will be given
                750 minutes (local+national) + 100 sms/day.

                But in the current bill deductions in total call charges is only Rs
                373.7 and also I have been charged SMS service too.

                I dont know who will be able to help me out as I am unable to pay such
                huge amount for Mobile bill. I think Airtel has started putting
                unwanted charges in mobile services which could lead to losing trust
                of Public.

                Hope you understand this issue and revert asap with an adjusted bill.

                  I have been an Airtel Customer for 10 Years. For the past 2 years or so, my bills have been consistently in the 1000/- or less bracket. All of a sudden for the past two months, Airtel has given me a bill of 10,000/-. The Call and SMS charges are only about 2000/- but the GPRS charges are 8000/- for two months! I complained to them and they said the data download charges implied are correct and have to be paid. I said they were too high and you guys are looting customers in the name of mobile GPRS, I complained multiple times and asked them provide a waiver and cancel my GPRS, I have atleast 50 Airtel connections between me and my family and for a customer of 10 years who has always paid the bills on time, they are completely unwilling to reduce the charges. They are manipulating the customer by waiting for such opportunities to over charge the customer, like predators. They never educate the customer about the increasing bill and the data download charges or usage statistics. They wait for the customer to be unaware and look for an opportunity and pounce on him. Having the largest market share and customer base makes them the king and the customer is utterly disregarded. In the name of data download they are blackmailing me into paying a very high sum and I will take this matter up with the court of law if I have to. The phone number is important to me and they know I cannot forfeit it and so they are trying to extract money from me. Please help!

                  me and my six friend had given a request to transfer my prepaid sim to post paid and paid the amount of rs.250/- each. And they had said that they will verify the address and activate and havent done so.after a week when we approched the office they have said that this week they will verify and a month passed away. when we have given a request for cancellation of sim and demanded for refund of our money then they had said you will get back your money within 60 days and today it is 70 days over, and today when we approched the office and they said they havent received any message.and their behaviour is rediculus.so we have decided to file a case against airtel and we have total proof of it.

                  My name is chethan i have taken the airtel connection my number is [protected] it is an national package and it does not contain clip charge but from past one year i am paying the clip charge i spoke to customer care people but they are telling they will solve this problem but no one is calling me from past two monts daily i am waiting for there call but no body replied now a days it is giving very worst service i really hate to continue with this servise

                  I had taken an postpaid connection after few month I cleared all my dews, and they said that u will get your deposit refund within 45 days now it more than 2 month yet i didn't received any refund from them when I talk to there executive they are not willing to refund the amount, they are saying that the amount u had paid is for activation and this all was not inform to me while taking the connection. I was informed that the amount which i am paying is security deposit when ever u disconnect your connection it will be refund to u. I can only say about them that AIRTEL is just cheating to customer and there executive are good for nothing just embarrassing customer. Why the hell they had open customer care i didn't get it. when ever we go at customer care to resolve any thing nothing is going to happen over there.

                  So all my friend beware of such an fraud company

                    The above message I am receiving some time in alternative days, some time once in a week etc and every time Rs.10/- being charged towards this. Whereas, I never subscribed for it and I approached the airtel dealers, send some messages for deactivation, but till today no action has been taken to unsubscribe the same. Even I have send messages from my mobile *646*602# and call button, but message coming that we are unable to process your request.

                    I therefore request that necessary action may be taken to deactivate the message from 64611010 and refund the amount already deducted till now.

                    I have been Charged Re.1 for using Full Track Subscription Service from Airtel..
                    However i have not used any service of the sort..
                    I would like to know why i'm getting charged..because later i will get charged for renewing it for sure.
                    The matter is not resolved. I am totally disappionted about your service and till date I have not received my money/Talktime back.

                      My name is vishal satpute and my no. is [protected]. This is the Airtel Friends-I connection and has been using from last five years. The problem is I am not getting my plan beefiness.
                      I have using this plan from last five years by recharging Rs 110 every year for plan continuation. This time my plans validity was ended 13th August 2011, before that I got a message from Airtel saying please recharge 110/- for your plan continuation as your validity is above to end. I confirmed from 121 customer care and did recharge of 110/- on 12th Aug 2011 for plan continuation.
                      I got a message as the recharge gets successfully, but I was not getting the plan benefit that I was using. I called several time to customer care and raised complaints[protected] against plan benefits. Many time I asked to want to talk to serious but they hang on the call for sometime and disconnect the line, here I am wasting my money as they charge 50 paisa.
                      Today 16 Aug morning I got a call from the customer care regarding the same issue. I explained everything and ask for need to talk to senior. They connected me with senior name samir. He told me my plan validity is up to 10 Aug and as you recharged before the date so you will not getting this plan benefit. This is to totally not except able and this is excuse from Airtel.

                        It's been more than a month since I paid for my Airtel Broadband and I am yet to get a connection or at least get someone to resolve the issue.

                        The summary of events:
                        15/July/2011 - Applied for broadband connection through Anand Kumar, Airtel outlet at BG-28, Aditya Mega City Mall, Indirapuram. I was told it will take 1-2 weeks, but normally should be done in a week, and Airtel will give me 10% discount on bill as a good-will gesture for late connection.
                        18/July/2011 or 19/July/2011 - A person from Airtel came to my premises for internal wiring
                        Some where close to 5/August/2011 - Visited Airtel outlet to know the update. I was convinced that it will be done within a week
                        10/Aug/2011 - Received SMS, "Your airtel broadband and fixed line bill for the month of Aug'11 will be generated on 11-Aug-2011 and the due date will be 30-Aug-2011."
                        10/Aug/2011 - Dropped email to AirtelPresence, Airtel Outlet and Mr. Rajesh Agarwal from Airtel outlet
                        16/Aug/2011 - Still no update from Airtel

                        This is gross insult of customer rights by not providing a promised connection even after payment and sending the sms for bill generation. I was a customer of Airtel broadband since April/May, 2007 to March, 2010 and then was out of India for an year. After coming back, I am really shocked to find Airtel's service in such a pathetic state.

                        I work in management role for an IT firm and hence internet connection is really crucial and critical for me. This professional situation coupled with personal dependency where my family members want to see my infant son on video chat, makes internet a 'must have' item for me. This delay has already caused a lot of loss for me and I don't intend to continue it further.

                        It's my request to immediately get my broadband connection active with two month's bill waiver as a gesture for delay in connection. Else please refund my money along with the gesture compensation for the delay. The amount will come to INR 1800 (500 deposit + two month's broadband rental, 650).

                        If again this time, I do not get any response from Airtel, I will be forced to move my application to consumer court to get the real justice that I deserve.

                        Request you to please stop bull sh****ng around the issue, either resolve it or just say 'No', but don't try to drag it longer and making it more painful for me.

                        1) My number still remains the same as mentioned. It is also the same number as registered in the Airtel's database. Also I did not received any sms from Airtel on 20/Aug/2011. It's sad when you reply is such a way, because mobile service being used by me are of Airtel itself. Also, there is a miss call alert on my phone which updates me on any call, when I miss because of n/w issue. My biggest question here is that, you can send a SMS regarding the payment on my cell phone but for any concern, it is not available for you????

                        2) For a request that was logged on 16/Aug, you guys wanted to contact me on 20/Aug, and then dropping a comment on Saturday.Your comment here is just a way of buying some time, else you know I am not reachable on internet on weekends because of no internet at my home. Despite having all the necessary means to contact me, this event definitely points out to something else.

                        3) Finally, I request you to please check you e-mails, I have been following up on this thread constantly on e-mails keeping Airtel Presence in loop ([protected]@airtel.in). Till date I have not received any reply from you guys over there, and then I had to use this platform.

                        Request you to please refer to this thread to get my contact details, or check your database and even if that is not sufficient, check you e-mails, because I sent the last mail on 19/Aug/2011 itself.

                        Still if all that does not work out for you, my number is "nine eight one zero eight one seven five eight one".

                        All this treatment just amounts to harassment, and I am 100% sure that I will approach the consumer court for all the loss that I have suffered because of Airtel.

                          This is very astonishing that instead of making several calls to customer care the set top box which is non functional and has to be replaced is not done.

                          I made a call on13th May 2011 stating my set top box is not working. The person came and replaced it with the adaptor. Again the same problem started after a month in end of June. Several calls were made but no one came. The set top box used to work sometimes and again it would become dead. This problem continued I had to call again on 31st July, 1st Aug but to my surprise as promised will send someone to solve the issue nobody turned up. I was very upset and again called up on 13th Aug and asked the call person to give my line to executive. I spoke to Mr. Gori and explained him my problem but he also did not solve my problem Instead told me that my warranty has expired on 8th Aug and I am supposed to pay Rs 750 and get new connection. the se Mr Prem was sent on 14th Aug and he asked us to pay Rs 750 and get new installation done.

                          The delay has been from your side and the customer has to suffer mentally. Not only that the calls which we have made who will bear the cost? Why should we pay for the new installation? it is dalay from your side. Why not the set top box was replaced within warranty period?

                          Mr Rakesh the issue is not yet resolved and today again I lodged a complaint on customer care and briefed to Mr Jitendra. He also was very adamant and said that the STB will not be replaced unless I pay Rs 750 + Rs 100 fro the engineer visit. I think your all the executives are totally mad and dump. They donot understand the matter. Infact in the afternoon I recieved a Sms stating my matter is resolved. What rubbish you send. It is very pthatic

                          I again repeat When we had filed the compalint on 1st Aug, 2nd Aug the STB was in the warranty period and why did the engineer not come to check? Why the customer care has not lodged? If so then it is not our fault the denial and delay is from AIRTEL SIDE. So again we filed complaint on 13th Aug in where the smart fellow Mr Prem came and very coolly says to replace the STB For Rs 750.

                          I think this the mischief you people are playing . They are aware that the warranty has expired and this is the right time to loot the customer. Any way it is your moral Duty to satisfy the customer where we are not at any fault. The rest we leave it to you . We are not free that every time we make a call or a request and
                          in turn we get to hear the same tape. Instead I would go for another DTH connection and be at peace.It is banging our heads with stupids

                            My complaint is against the letters being issued regarding outstanding dues on our mobile No [protected] issued in the name of Mrs Anju Sawhney, H No 210, Model Gram, Ludhiana.(Account No [protected]). The last letter received in this regard was dated 04.08.2011 for a demand of a net outstanding of Rs 775.29.
                            In this regard I would like to bring the following facts to your notice:-
                            i) The above mobile phone was disconnected in March 2011. This has been documented and the reference No is 36337267.
                            ii) It may please be recorded that every time we received a call from your field staff or one of your officers, (and believe me the follow up is from N number of people , (none of whom is aware that the issue has already been discussed again and again )they were told very clearly that the mobnile has been disconnected in the month of March 2011 and that they should check up the record and send us a bill upto March 2011, which will be duly paid. However, either because the field staff approaching for payment are non professionals or whatever the reason is, the issue is still open, and we are continuously getting notices from your end.
                            iii) The issue was also discussed with your Mr Jatin and then Sh Prince and lastly with Sh Gagagndeep Bedi and the entire issue was clarified to them.
                            Sh Bedi confirmed that all the information as provided by us was correct. He further conformed that even though the mobile No. was disconnected in March and is duly documented, even then charges are being levied.
                            Sh Bedi was also requested to ensure that we be sent a full and final bill upto March 2011 which will be paid by us instantly, to which he readily agreed.
                            iv) However , we are pained to point out that inspite of all these efforts from our end, we have again received a notice from your office wherein the following is mentioned," If payment of Rs 775.29 is not received immediately we will pass on the matter to our solicitors with instructions to commence legal proceedings".
                            This we feel is the height o[censored]n professionalism especially in a company with the name and fame of AIRTEL.
                            It is requested to please pass necessary instructions for an immediate stop to such un professional approach and confirm the balance due to us upto March 2011, ie upto the date the mobile No.was disconnected.
                            This payment shall be made immediately by us.

                              my mobile number is [protected], i am using a sim card of airtel. i had not subscribed for any scheme called "bolly pack" from my number still it was activated, they deducted 10 rs from my balance for this. for the first time i thought it must be by mistake by pressing some button, and then called customer care number 198 and deactivated the scheme.after few days (a week after) again my 10 rs. were deducted for the same bolly pack though i didn't activate it nor pressed any button by mistake.i called 198 and complaint regarding the same, the customer care representative told me that it was not unsubscribed and so it got renewed again n so 10 rs. were deducted (though i had already unsubscribed earlier) again i unsubscribed the scheme. after few days again my 10 rs. were deducted after i recharged my cell with rs. 50. i called up 198 and made a complain and they said i have no option but to unsubscribe, i did again. next day again 10 rs. were deducted and i called up 198. they said bollypack was activated.i told the representative the entire scenario, and they said that my account will get back 10 rs, and i got it. now today, again the same scheme is activated and 10 rs. are deducted. I don't understand what to do. PLEASE HELP! I am tired of it

                                Local Branch persons does not respond to phone call quickly. After 2to 3 times they attend it.

                                Secondly your service of RECHARGING DIGITAL TV ACCOUNT BY REGISTERED MOBILE NUMBER also is not responding adequately. WHY SO?

                                AIRTEL RECHARGING CENTRE IS ONLY ONE HERE AND VERY DIFFICULT FOR A CUSTOMER TO APPROACH THEM.

                                I would like to suggest to update your service providing section largely.

                                    Dear Sir/Madam,

                                    I am Dhruv Goel, living at B-95,Sector 27,Noida, UP, have applied for Airtel IPTV (with unlimited broadband 4mbps 10gb) on 19th July,2011, and paid 1750 INR. as installation fees.

                                    After this, its been almost one month and no one came to install the connection, we tried calling on various different airtel customer care numbers and the dealer number multiple times everyday, but always the response was very cold.They say things like..
                                    1. Our main server is down.
                                    2. We will install it definitely by today or tomorrow.
                                    3. We will resolve your problem, etc.
                                    I have taken 3 holidays from my job on the days that they promise they will arrive to install the connection, and on all 3 days no one came. Calling an airtel customer care number leads to the same routine every time , they don't even connect us to their seniors.
                                    But despite all our efforts nothing seems to be happening.
                                    So, I came to know, about consumer forum, please submit my request as complaint against Airtel , and provide me the solution.

                                    AirTel — IPtv Installation delay

                                    I , Himanshu Virmani , applied for IP TV connection on telephone no. [protected], on 20th August, 2010 and they commited that i'll get the connection within 02 working days. I didn't get my connection till now. When i asked the person who has came to my house, he told me everyday that today connection is given. Now, I am waiting for connection for past one week. And Each time i call to people, they told me that i'll get the same within 1-2 days which never happens. My brother is taking leave from his college because of waiting but no-one is coming for connection. Who will compensate me brother's studies????

                                    Thank you for "looking into the matter" and "working on a resolution", but nothing seems to be happening still. No one has got in touch with me. Between, I have news for you:
                                    Yesterday, i.e. on 18th August, 2011, when I called the dealer (which has become my daily routine by the way), he came up with this reply :
                                    " I am not going to install your connection, you cannot do anything because you have no proof you bought it from me(even though we have it). You can go to the police or to the court! Here's all my information:
                                    Name: Amrish Chouhan
                                    Employee ID : 58040
                                    Office Address: B-38/c1, Sector 57, Noida
                                    Phone No. [protected]
                                    Let's see what you can do"

                                    Then he talked rudely for some more time and disconnected the phone. Why is Airtel harassing its customers?? Exactly similar case happened with my friend who then was forced to forget about the money and get a BSNL Connection(which was installed in one day).

                                    I am utterly shocked by the rude behaviour of Airtel employees. Please have the decency to resolve this as quickly as possible.

                                    Some More Time!!! It's been 32 days already. How much more time does Airtel require to install an IPTV connection? Because I was under the false impression that it usually gets installed within 1 or 2 days. And could you please send me your mobile number or your personal email-id (if you are infact some person and not a computer generated message)

                                    AirTel — ipTV Installation

                                    Hi, I registered for ipTV from Airtel on 6th Aug' 2011. Gave the check for Rs.999/- to the Airtel representative and was told that it will be installed in 3-5 working days but I haven't yet recieved any call or instrument. This is extremely frustrating that even after me calling 198 a couple of times - nothing has moved and even my complaint has been marked as closed. I am not sure what kind of service Airtel will provide me after the installation as well.
                                    Can you help get this resolved?

                                      It is really surprising to see below charges on my mobile [protected] against services which I never requested for.

                                      why this has to happen. is this something like provoking the customer to change the service provider? kindly look into this and reverse these charges ALONG WITH the services on this amount of Rs. 163.00

                                        There is no Airtel network in my office.
                                        My office is located in Shah & Nahar Industrial Estate, Lower Parel, Mumbai, it’s a business place and we are very surprise there is no Airtel signal or network in my office. even week signal we can understand but completely no signal is unjustifiable. My mobile is unreachable when I in the office, Can someone look into the matter? I[censored] wana call on this no pls call after 9:00 PM.
