    i lost my sim last week of may. I kept that sim in my wallet. some body has stollen my wallet in my building. yesterday i have taken new sim with same number from aittel office. when i lost sim there was 80/- in my account. but yesterday only 6/- is there. Definetly some one has used my sim to make calls.

      Escalation on Frustrating Airtel Customer Care

      This is Venkatesh from Bangalore. Am Airtel Broadband (No. : [protected]) Customer for more than 2 years.
      Two Months back I've registered (Applicatio no. : 263270) for IPTV and paid 1750 to Aitel Agent 'Muni'.

      This is the 10th time i am writing for the same issues!!!

      I have told the in airtel not to activate any useless services on my phone unless i request you to do it.

      My phone numbers are [protected], [protected], [protected].

      I am again telling the dumb and deaf in airtel - cancel all services that i have not requested for and refund any amount that has been ruthlessly deducted from me by cheating me. I keep getting messages from ad - 54321 that i have been renewed for various services. I do not wont your [censored]ing mms at rs. 2 nor do i want your cricket or radio or caller tones or any [censored]ing non sense.

      You better well cancel all these and credit the amounts that have been deducted from me.

      And stop this nonsense you [censored]ing airtel !!!

      Who are the marketing in airtel. Who do they think they are? I am not taking any money which those earn? Then why the [censored] do they have to take my money without my permission. I am warning you, this will get really bad. We have a group formed in our city which is slowly growing and if this nonsense continues, we really make u pay the price for this.

        Hello all,
        Im using HD DTH set top box, customer id: [protected]
        I'm writing this review after a full 26 days of customer negligence and total frustration towards airtel DTH customer service.
        I'm with airtel since the last 1 year and I was really fortunate enough not to call customer care till July 26th.
        From that week itself, I was getting some problem, audio was cut over my hdmi cable. Many times called up customer care and finally on 22nd of August, one guy came in the night (may be to show us the sense o[censored]rgency airtel is having towards its customers) with new STB and replaced the old one.
        I felt I won finally after the long war of some 25 days, but the real problems were about to start.
        I was getting "Error code 14" after that and I was told, they will soon activate the new STB withing "few hours" as per the "great, customer oriented" airtel so called executives.

        1 day passed just like that, nothing happened with "Error code 14". I got a call the next day from a person called Ravi (contact no: [protected]). He introduced himself as the "customer care manager" and he asked me to pay Rs. 750 to get the services to resume.

        I had recharged for the South ultra package for entire 1 year and I had sufficient account balance also that time. I told him the same, then his reply was that was the charge for new STB. STB has 1 full year warranty, and it was expiring on Aug 1st 2011 only.
        I had raised the issue with STB on July last week itself, and according to this Ravi, my first complaint reached them only on Aug 14. I had a big time fight with him and he threatened me unless I pay the money he wont activate the service !!!!!!

        That time I had 160 days remaining days of recharge days and 607 Rs in my account. I had no other choice, my money is with Airtel, so I admitted finally to pay un necessarily. He sent a person to collect money AT THAT NIGHT itself and Ravi was giving orders to that guy unless I pay the money, you should not activate and all in front of me. I thought of throwing the STB on his face literally.

        Service again got reactivated on new STB, till next day noon. This time I was getting "Error code 6" saying I had not enough balance !!!!! really surprised again I had to call customer care. same answer - "definitely sir, it will get closed withing 1 hr". Hours and days passed, nothing happened. Fed up really with Airtel. Really.

        Now the basic service is denied to me even with all my money just went to airtel. Frustrated after 2 days again called customer care and asked to connect to senior manager for them (If at all any body is there for name sake atleast) Got another junk and good for nothing fellow named VAIBHAV, (airtel DTH customer care escalation manager ), talked with him 1 hour, promised as usual within 1 hr, and I told him if it is not happening this time, I need my money back and to disconnect my connection. He promised till next day 11 am, I was sure that nothing is going to happen.

        Again called customer care at 3:30 pm today, got another manager named "AMAR". Asked him to cut my connection and he was refusing with silly reasons AND I GOT A SURPRISING NEWS, MY VIEW CARD NEEDS TO BE REPAIRED!!!! HAIL AIRTEL...AGAIN ONE MORE PROMISE - SERVICE WILL COME AS SOON AS POSSIBLE WITHING 4 HRS...now that day is also over...
        Now I dont care whatever happens to the connection.

        I AM NOT GOING TO CONTACT CUSTOMER CARE AGAIN. LET MY MONEY GO, LET AIRTEL SUCK PEOPLE I WILL GO FOR ANY LOCAL CABLE SERVICE. I VALUE PEACE OF MIND MORE THAN MONEY.

        I have involved a topmost responsible customer manager (very very rare in Airtel DTH, fortunately I got one) in my issue and finally resolved after 35 days of continuous fight. No other customer care executives were involved in the issue and they wer not bothered to solve the issue other than just giving false promises.

        I need to get money to refund back to my account which I spent un-necessarily the STB which was under warranty period when my first complaint was raised (On July last week) + the 35 days of miserable service to my account. I have already raised all the complaints.

        Do not trust customer care for Airtel...simply they will bluff...

        And after that one more other problem One guy is simply booking movies and recharging from my account from an un-authorized number. Really surprised !!! any one can withdram/recharge from any one's account?

        Simply the worst DTH and customer service in India/World.

        Customer has to fight each time for his basic needs after paying huge money !!!

        Advice to other customers - Please Dont go for this shameless service. Nobody cares you other than your money.
        How much time more you need? Today is already 30th of August. 1 month gone in resolving an issue. Is this what your customer service? it is not customer service, you can name it as customer hell.

        I need to get my full amount 750/- to be credited back to my account and the 35 days of days added where I was fighting miserably with customer care executives.

        My customer number is [protected]. For the past 5 days i'm getting ERROR CODE 14 so could not watch TV. I gave complaint to call centre everyday, they say somebody will come today to fix the issue but nobody turned until this day. But after few hours of filling complaint a message comes automatically as "Issue is resolved, call "[protected]" if not" . When I call that number most of the time he didnot pick the call, atlost oneday he picked the call and gave another useless mobile number "[protected]", this number nobody picks.

        Please resolve this issue otherwise refund whatever my money i have in my DTH account. So I will go to someother DTH services. You have worst customer service, I wonder how you can increase your subscriber with this customer service.

          It is sad that I have had to write this but right now I am prepared to write to Mr. Sunil Mittal too...

          My woes started 7 days after my airtel landline/broadband connection was installed. I must admit that those 7 days were good and the broadband speeds also were excellent.

          Ever since then its been 25days, 3 complaints, one technical visit, my bvroad band connection and my land line outgoing just refuses to work. I am without broadband for the last 25days and not sure how long more…I would have lost serious work hours as we are expected to respond to work queries after work as well. It was unfortunate to have to deal with this level of indifference of the Airtel Broadband system.

          The call center first take about 5full minutes to get connected, then to find my info it takes another 5, overall its 10 minutes of holding listening to the painful music and then the line gets disconnected.

          The situation is not only dissatisfying but has resulted in an irreparable damage. As a customer and a shareholder in the company the transaction has left us dissatisfied and angry.

          SO angry that I had to shout at the poor CSO on the phone. Still after numerous escalations and complaints I have no resolution.

          I am really sad that I have wasted hours just trying to get my broadband connection up.

          All this after my first bill amount has got credited to them. Not I am light by my first broadband fee, with no connection working all this for just a broadband.

          I really feel my earlier broadband Reliance was far more responsive and I curse myself for this silly change.


          Although I am writing this - I am sure there will be no reply from Airtel to this complaint…

            I bought a Nokia N8 phone on 28th june. on the cover there is the offer
            “Enjoy the power of Nokia N8 with Airtel
            Free mobile internet from Airtel for 6 months
            Just insert the Airtel SIM to activate the offer”
            I inserted my SIM and started using the Internet. ( offer valid to Airtel
            costumer for 6 months from the date of activation )

            However i got the 2gb data free for 1 month…
            But the next month there was no such free data.

            When we try to contact on 198 or 121 customer care is talking for 1 minute
            only after then the call is disconnect and then no receiving of call from
            customer care..
            This is ridiculous! Airtel a big name is doing such a fake..
            Airtel such a big name is doing such type of FRAUDS...
            Dear sir,
            No response from ur side regarding my complaint.. only acknowledgement mail is coming...
            Please fast resolve my matter as soon as possible.. I already sent all the information..

              Sir,
              I Recharged my account number [protected] with Rs500 on 23/08/11.
              Still pop up message of 'balance low recharge with Rs 310 & get 15 bonus' has not been stop by Airtel.
              I talked Airtel customer care executive twice about this problem, & also requested to give complaint ID. but inspite of that niether problem solved nor he gaved me complaint ID.
              This problem is hetic as it disturbs view very frequently n stays for 6 secs. One cant escape from that pop up.
              So, pl the needful n acknowledge me complaint number.

              The problem condition is same as it was on 23rd aug. Still the pop up messages not yet stop. On what basis you are closing this issue?

                Airtel has billed me data usage of 75.3 MB of data usage which is not possible as it is not possible to download 75.3MB data on my mobile phone. So I asked them to provide the list of sites visited and data downloaded and they said that they cant provide this infomation. As a customer I have all rights to know if they have billed me for a usage I need to know which site or doenloads have they claimed. My company would not pay the bill to me as teh usage is very abnormaaly high. So I would request you to please help me get this information so that I can provide the same to my company.
                I have raised two complaints and Airtel has not reverted yeat on it. Complaint no. is 39219405. Many thanks and look forward to hear from you. The open teh bill please type nju3

                  Hi,

                  I have applied for number portability from Airtel to Vodafone on 29th july for the first time for my two numbers [protected]

                  and 618 and since then trying to follow up with them to get the updates. They always blame TRAI saying that it is TRAI who

                  can give you the correct reason for rejecting the portability. I have generated the unique port out code also twice in this

                  process and even the second one is getting expired on coming 28th Aug.

                  I have been getting extremely pathetic service from Airtel mobile service. I have tried their customer care(number of times

                  talked with floor managers 2 different people with same name manjunath, Vijay, Ravi kiran), Nodal officer(on mail) and 3 of

                  their appellate officers(Savitha, Ramesh and some other lady Lakshmi) also on this everybody tell the same thing that there

                  is no issues from Airtel side and it will take 7 days to finish the process. Some of them even went to an extent saying that

                  they have not received the request itself for port out. One guy Ravi kiran is even asking me to provide proof that I have
                  issues with Airtel and the delay is happening because of Airtel. Everytime I gave them a call they will simply say it will

                  take another 2 days and it will be done. I have given them a call on 9th, 12th,14th, 17th, 19th,21st, 23rd and even 25th

                  August to get the status before that I forgot the count. When I called today the Appellate officer(Savitha) she first of all

                  gave me the wrong information that the process is still going on and will be done in next couple of days but when I informed

                  her that I got an sms saying the request has been rejected then she asked me to re-initiate the process once again once the

                  existing unique number expires after a hot discussion on this issue for almost 1 hr. She says Appellate officer is the last

                  point of escalation and if I am not satisfied with their reply also then I cant escalate it further to anybody. When I called

                  on 23rd Aug the customer care guy Annirudh said its all fine and the number will be released from Airtel by 24th and then the

                  next service provider can connect you to his service and in morning when I woke up I get another surprise story in an sms

                  informing me that my request has been rejected again. They don't come back with any updates on what is happening on this

                  front I only need to call them everytime to get any updates why there is so much delay. They are such a irresponsible and

                  disgusting company that they hardly care about the inconvenience the customer is facing.
                  I am not left out with any options now and I think the only thing left now is to probably go to consumer court and get this

                  issue resolved and to ask court to put a hefty fine on all the people involved in this scam of fooling people.
                  I request you to please don't make fool of the customer incase such processes are not feasible then don't introduce them at

                  all. Rather then saving the customer interest TRAI is also saving telecoms companies from loosing customer.

                  Airtel — Port out misguide

                  I applied for port out of the service a few days back. On 26th march 2011 I got a call from Airtel of Mr. Bhan Prakash promising me a better plan if I do not port to be activated in 48 hours. I accepted the offer. My plan has not yet activated.
                  Is Airtel trying to just mislead the customers and trying to delay the process of porting out of the service?

I spoke to the airtel executive and said to pay only Rs 1100 and the remaining amount will be waived off. The number i got a call from is:[protected], she said her name is Suma.
                    I made the payment but the services are not ON. I am continuously following with airtel executive and I was told with in 4 hours, 1 day the services will become active.

                    Its been more than 2 months since the services are not up. When i call on the number that i got and ask for that lady, then they wait for some time and keep the receiver. Some times they do not receive the call and some times they say she is not here and i will ask her to call you back when she is in. But i do not get any call from them and my problem is solved.

                    I am continuously getting calls from Airtel asking me to pay the amount and its become tourture for me. I am not able to concentrate on my job. When i explained the situation to them, they are not listening and asking me to pay total amount. Even i say, i will give you the number and check with her , they are not listening to this.

                    Please do the needful and help me in this regards.

                    Hi,

                    Thanks for your reply. I got a call from[protected] saying he is senior executive and I explained him the situation. He is rather questioning me if there is any written statement that I will get waiver off. I said, i have the service request number and i can give it to you. Even i asked him to put a conf call to the lady whom i spoke and i can talk to her; he had kept the call on hold for some time and then disconnected.

                    The service requests number are: 33232039 & 33232017. One is for waiver and another one is change of plan.

                    Is there any way that you can trace that lady and figure out why it is done in my case. You can get to know the employee id or name of the executive who raised above service requests and find out, right?

                    There is no progress of the complaint and no updates from Airtel. As per the airtel executive said, I had even sent email to 121 but no reply from them.

                    This is totally bad and not acceptable. It would be good if some senior officer from Airtel takes this case and solve.

                      I just wanted to registered a complaint against Airtel, because my Cell no: [protected] has been disconnected without any prior notification. it was in use till the month June 2011. However when I tried to use it now it says that the sim card registration has failed. When I tried my number from other phone it says the number is incorrect. How the sim card can be expire so early, it has to be in 90 days and it is not even proper 45 days as well. I want an explanation on this from Airtel

                        bharti airtel company make the fool poors and illiterate persons.because employs dont undersatnd their fraud schmes now listen send sms hello tunes,gprs service, songs download etc. etc. and give the option use it apply it in mobile shortcuts. illeterate persons not understand and mistaken click option use it and see mobile show money reduce cut 10/30/15 rupees what a plan. poor persons dont understand but company make their money now tell me what action against this unauthorise option. i[censored] do then send response or no then plz tell me way how to stop this airtel frauds schmes
                        the same thing happened to me. i called the BPO person through 121 and told him the problem. he assured me that he will take steps to avoid this situation in future. let us wait and see. if the problem continues i am going to port to some other service provider

                          We were registered one complaint regarding a technical issue at Airtel DTH Service Care. I registered the complaint on August 7th 2011. But we haven't received any response from the Customer Service Care as of now. We spoke to the customer care many times regarding the Same Issue. Every time we call them they asked us to register a new Complaint as our previous request are being closed automatically in regardless of whether the issue is resolved or not.

                          once some Technical person called us and told that he would come afternoon. But he never came and update the ticket status as resolved. We are totally fed up on this Issue. Please help us to get it resolved. Its really pathetic.

                            My name is Sivanandh i was using Airtel no:[protected] for more than a year suddenly on August 20th this no is been Blocked by Airtel when i called up the Customer service they said that this no is not used for more than 3 months so they blocked it is this a procedure to blocking a number without intimating the customer also they asked me to go to a showroom near by my area and enquire about it as per their advice i went their and asked them about the issue and they given me a Nodal officers number([protected]) to contact he checked the database and after sometime he asked me to hand over the phonr to the Showroom executive and told him to re-activate the number and charge 175 Rs/-.as of my knowledge a duplicate Sim Costs Rs.25/- but here they charged 175Rs/- iam really fed up with the service for what i need to pay 175 Rs/-when the mistake is with Airtel side..please get me a solution for this also they are not in a position to give an ETA(estimated time for activation).kindly get back to my alternate no:[protected] or mail me at [protected]@gmail.com.

                              AirTel — Horrible and embarrassing airtel

                              I have given airtel a check of 1500 rupees on 7th of august. after waiting for almost 15 days and calling them for 'n' number of times, i got to know from airtel customer care that connection cannot be given due to technical difficulties. they said they will refund the money when i called them on 22nd of aug. Today i.e 31st of Aug, they have come to my house thay are ready to give the connection and i have already taken tata indicom connection.

                              These guys are really frustating customers, bluffing customers with false promises that connection will be given in 2 days...

                              what should be done for such a stupid service...............

                              Airtel Prepaid Connection — embarrassing the customer

                              I am a central Government employee and had taken a prepaid airtel connection n the year 2007 and also submitted all relevant documents i.e. residence proof, service certificate, copy of govt. I/card, pan card etc. But on 07.10.2010 one sms was sent by airtel and asked me to produce the document again by today itself otherwise my service will be stopped. When I contacted Customer Care and told that I am not in the town and it is quite difficult to the document within 24 hours and have already submitted the same in the year 2007. If require, I am on leave and will resume my duty at Siliguri on 25.10.2010, and if it is so necessary then they should have intimated me before a week or should wait till 25.10.2010. But Shri Pradeep Roy and Rakesh Kumar of Airtel told me that it is not possible and I have to submit the documents within 24 hours by hook or crook. When I asked them that I want to take to the Senior member of Airtel that where it has written that I have to submit the document in 24 hours and cannot wait for a week or can not intimate the individual before a week. then they reluctant to give the answer.                               I am also facing same problem. with addition with this airtel has changed my tariff plan without taking any confirmation from me. When I had asked about this then call center executive had asked me to do recharge of 100 Rs. to reset tariff plan. But my problem is not solved.

Very starting I had paid the amount for connection after completion of one month I got the connection,ok working.Now I m struggling a lot since signals were obstructed if rain falls and also if the climate is rainy.I think it is very bad. Generally every one likes to sit in front of TV when we r leisure,if it rains we will be mostly have no work & like 2 sit in front of TV but at that time there will be no signals & we cant enjoy it,Wat is the use o[censored]r bad connection.If i ring to the customer care they are asking me to wait till the rain stops,Very foolish answer...Improve ur network...

                                Airtel DTH — NO DTH DURING RAINS

                                It is very clear that DTH IS USELESS DURING RAINS.

                                Another problem with AIRTEL - there is just no way you can speak to a Customer Support guy. Tried all methods - Calling Tollfree, Tolled, 5-digit number for Registered Mobiles & sending SMS. The call does not go through invariably - if by chance, you get through, the guy is invariably sitting in some corner of the country (each time I get through, the location of the call centre who responds, is different) and more interested in getting a confirmation of all details, address, etc. - he is just not sensitive enough listen to your problem. The service is pathetic.

                                I wish I had continued with my neighbourhood Cable TV - the guy used to attend to our problems very promptly by physically visiting and explaining each and every detail. It is sad that I have to endure this problem for 6 more months since I have subscribed for a full year.

                                  My name is Shiva Sharma and I have been a very loyal and esteemed customer of Airtel for quite some years now. I am writing to share my concern and bitter experience with Airtel regarding unresolved queries and false commitment and unethical practices. I will break my complaint in three parts as I have 3 different complaints.

                                  PART 1 – Unresolved Query leading to money loss , constant chasing by me to seek help from Airtel

                                  I had been using [protected] in Delhi until March 2011 and in March 2011 I got married and moved to Bangalore. I wanted to close my Delhi number and clear all outstanding. Usually I pay my bills online through my Airtel account and print the bills from there as part of my Airtel bill is reimbursed by my company. Meanwhile, I lost my Delhi sim and account password and called customer care to obtain it. Ideally when someone loses password, the customer care sends the password on the mobile number and email id. Both my email id and mobile number were registered with Airtel for this purpose. I shared the concern that I did not have [protected] sim and requested them to send the password on my current Bangalore number or email. I asked them to mail me soft-copies of the bills as well but that again is password protected and password was not sent to either phone or email. Despite my continuous calls to Airtel Customer care and talking to some 4-5 executives, I was not provided the password on either channels. In the meantime, my reimbursement cycle got over and I could not submit my bills and hence incurred loss of 4500. I was chasing Airtel to help me pay my bills and close my account. But no help was provided.

                                  PART 2 – Constant calls from collection officer to clear outstanding and pay extra charge too and FALSE COMMITMENT

                                  I stopped chasing them after sometime and suddenly in July they wake up and ask me to clear my outstanding. I got a call around July 9 from Ashok Malik - [protected] , [protected] who is I guess collection executive and he asked me to pay 7127Rs wherein my actual amount used until March was 5982Rs. I spoke to Malik and told him the whole story about why there was a delay from my side and how I had been calling Airtel for passwords and bills. Malik replied to me by saying that he could provide me the bills which make up 7127Rs and that would not be password protected. I was really disappointed as these bills could have been provided to me when I asked for them in March and the outstanding could have been cleared then only not leading to addition of extra charge which was added because of the delay by Airtel not giving me passwords and bills in March. I asked for relaxation as I already lost 4500 which my company could have reimbursed incase I would have submitted bills during the reimbursement cycle. After many conversations and arguments, I asked Malik to put me through his senior who has more authority than him and could help me. By this time, I had started going through the mental trauma. I spoke to his senior and again repeated the whole story about my chase in March but then the relaxation he could provide was only Rs 500 – Rs 1000. I was not ready to pay the hefty amount as I incurred loss because of Airtel. In the meantime, on July 13, 2011, I got a mail from [protected]@in.airtel.com regarding the nonpayment and escalation to legal department. I was shocked to see how these people can harass their “Platinum” customer who has even paid 10k to 20k bills per month and never asked for discount because that was actual usage. This was the first time I asked for discount cause Airtel was at fault. The mail also mentioned contacts of Ashwani Gandhi Mobile Number -[protected], & Rajkumar Parmar Mobile No-[protected] for further clarifications.

                                  I replied to the mail within an hour writing the whole story of March and then talks with Malik and his senior and marked it to nodal officer too. But I did not get a reply from anyone except the auto generated mail for acceptance of mail. I spoke to appellate officer as well, whose name I don’t remember and narrated the whole traumatic experience once again to her. She said that she does not have the authority to give me relaxation of more than 700Rs and I could talk back to collection officers as they could provide me more discount. I again spoke to Malik / Ashwani on [protected] and after many arguments, they settled for Rs4500 and gave me relaxation of Rs 2627 on my outstanding amount of 7127Rs. I asked them for a receipt to which they assured me that once I pay my bill, I would receive it on mail and that my account will be closed. I trusted them and cleared my bill the very next day in hope of ending the mental trauma I had to go though because of Airtel and sent a mail on July 14, 2011 to [protected]@in.airtel.com;nodalofficer.[protected]@airtel.in;appellate.[protecte... and called them on [protected] to confirm the same and asking for receipt. I did not get any reply from anyone except the auto answers to the mail. I sent reminder again but they turned deaf ears. I stopped chasing them thinking that my account is settled and closed now. After the rude behavior of all officers, Peace prevailed for more than a month.

                                  PART 3 – Calls again and Legal Notice and Unethical practices

                                  To my utter surprise, this was height o[censored]nethical practice by Airtel. I got a legal notice on August 23, 2011 from Airtel on my company’s address in Gurgaon regarding nonpayment of Rs2627 on my Delhi number [protected] and extra charges of legal process. Please note Rs2627 is the waive off amount that Malik and Ashwani had given me. I then called Ashwani on [protected] and he bluntly refused to agree that he spoke to me in July for this negotiation. I had an argument with him regarding the same and told him about the legal notice which was sent to my office bringing discredit on me. This was casual for him. I then called Mr. Rajkumar Parmar escalating the whole issue to him. According to him he was unaware of this and wanted a day’s time to revert and promised to revert on August 24, 2011( which is today). I waited for his call and finally called him in the afternoon to check on the status. My call was answered by a female and I was asked to wait and then call was abruptly cut. I called again 4-5 times but no one answered. After an hour, I called again and the same female answered saying that Mr. Rajkumar Parmar was on leave. I then called Ashok Malik on [protected] and my call was answered by some other executive saying that Malik was on leave and when I checked for Rajkumar, he said that he was in a meeting.

                                  IT IS HIGHTIME!!! I WAS TALKING TO A TEAM OF LIARS AND UNETHICAL EXECUTIVES UNTIL NOW. I WANT TO HIGHLIGHT THIS TO THE AUTHORITIES AND MAKE THEM AWARE THAT THEIR EXECUTIVES ARE GIVING FALSE COMMITMENTS TO CUSTOMERS AND HARASSING THEM. THIS EXPERIENCE HAS CERTAINLY LEFT ME WONDERING ABOUT THE CREDIBILITY OF “AIRTEL”. ARE THESE EXECUTIVES TRAINED TO LIE TO THEIR VALUABLE CUSTOMER? ARE THEY TRAINED TO DUPE THEIR CUSTOMERS? ARE THEY TRAINED TO HARASS THE CUTOMERS ?

                                  I STRONGLY RECOMMEND TO TAKE ACTION AGAINST PEOPLE INVOLVED IN THIS MATTER – NAMELY ASHOK MALIK, ASHWANI GANDHI AND RAJKUMAR PARMAR. NOT ONLY I INCURRED MONETARY COST OF CALLING THEM AGAIN AND AGAIN AND LOSS OF 4500Rs BUT THE AMOUNT OF MENTAL PAIN AND STRESS THEY HAVE CAUSED IS IMMENSE. THIS SHOULD NOT HAPPEN TO ANY OTHER CUSTOMER.

                                  I HOPE PROPER ACTION WOULD BE TAKEN ON THIS MATTER AND A CONFIRMATION OF SETTLEMENT OF MY ACCOUNT WOULD BE PROVIDED TO ME .

                                  Dear Sir,
                                  I had applied for change of address and name, which earlier belonged to my mother who had taken under the corporate scheme. I have also submitted the authorisation letter by my mother alongwith the form given by Airtel customer center for change of details from previous to the present one. Inspite of the documentations duly submitted in August end at Vashi customer care centre Sector -17, stlll the issue is not complied. Kindly look into the matter ASAP and also request you to cancel the corporate scheme granted and convert them into the normal one. Else will be dissappointed to back out from Airtel service and use the other service providers which i do not honestly want to as i have been using this number for the past 5 yrs.

                                  Not able to register myself to view my bill.
                                  I am doubtful about the call and VAS charges and need to view the detailed bill. However not been able to register from last one week.

                                  This is happening for the 5th time and I have no idea why AIRTEL engages in such fraudulent practices inspite repeated reminders.

                                  Earlier I had requested several times that JOKES, HELLO TUNES etc should not be automatically activated on my number without my permission and balance deducted.

                                  JOKES got enabled automatically without my authorization for past week and I am receiving messages from 53030 and balance being deducted automatically.

                                  (ii) any messages relating to charities, national campaigns or natural calamities transmitted on the directions of the Government or agencies authorized by it for the said purpose;
                                  (iii) messages transmitted, on the directions of the Government or any authority or agency authorized by it, in the interest of the sovereignty and integrity of India, the security of the State, friendly relations with foreign States, public order, decency or morality."
                                  The NDNC Registry will be a data base having the list of all telephone numbers of the subscribers who do not want to receive UCC.After the establishment of NDNC registry, Telephone subscriber (Landline or mobile) who does not wish to receive UCC, can register their telephone number with their telecom service provider for inclusion in the NDNC. Telecom Service Provider shall upload the telephone number to the NDNC within 45 days of receipt. The Telemarketer will have to verify their calling telephone numbers list with the NDNC registry before making a call. To discourage the telemarketers who make calls to the numbers registered in Do Not Call List, a provision has been made whereby Rs.500/ - shall be payable by the telemarketer to the service provider for every first unsolicited commercial communication (UCC) and Rs.1000/- shall be payable for subsequent UCC. There is a provision for disconnection of the telemarketer telephone number / telecom resource if the UCC is sent even after levy of Rs.500/- & Rs.1000/- tariff. In case of non-compliance to the Telecom Unsolicited Commercial Communications Regulations, 2007, the Service Provider is also liable to pay an amount by way of financial disincentive, not exceeding Rs.5000/- for first non-compliance of the regulation and in case of second or subsequent such non-compliance, an amount not exceeding Rs.20, 000/- for each such non-compliance.

                                    My husband (Airtel number: [protected]) travelled to Chennai on Friday August 29, 2011. His GPRS network is not working since the network's gone on roaming. He has tried several times to call technical assistance to solve this problem. Even after following all instructions they have given, the GPRS hardly starts for 10 seconds every time he restarts and then shuts down.
                                    Not only is the Airtel staff not helping in this case, they don't even have a call back facility to call my husband and help sort out his problem. He's spending on roaming call charges every time he calls to even complain. I can't even believe that Airtel Technical assistance dept has no call back facility to handle complaints.
                                    Airtel has always been lax and casual in customer service. None of our complaints about lack of network or about billing have ever been handled, leave alone tackled. Their customer service executives are the worst, they can't even answer questions or doubts properly. And the only time they call customers is when they need to ask when we will pay our bills, a week before due date?
                                    When is Airtel going to wake up? After we have changed over to Vodafone?
                                    This is lousy service and it's clear from their behaviour how much they care about their customers.

                                    in my mobile many unwanted message come from you for example AD-54321. Some msgs comes from these two no's i.e., 54321003, 54321.these msgs deducted Rs. 3/- per msg. I have not sent any message on my number to activate these services and in last weak my balance deducted Rs:6/- Please Refund my balance and Stop these services

                                      I am using airtel unlimited plan or Rs 799 excluding of tax. From last four month my bill was ok but suddenly in july month bill i got detail that dsl usage charges add of Rs 200 and 100 rs deducted as a discount. my net bill for the month of july is rs 991 while i always got Rs 881 rs (including tax) . Every time 100 rs added as dsl usage charges but other side they deducted this amount as a discount i never pay this dsl usage charges. Can anyone tell if i am using unlimited plan than what is meaning of dsl usage charges in this??? what the meaning o[censored]nlimited plan if i have to pay extra charges to use internet??? I take this connection through airtel marketing executive of Mr sandeep and he didn't tell this thing when i take this braodband connection.

                                      Airtel Broadband — DSL USAGE NOT DISCOUNTED AS PER PLAN

                                      I have a problem with the Airtel Broadband bill generation since Sep 2011.

                                      DSL Usage have not been discounted for the last 3-4 months, for which respective adjustments are being done in the consecutive months.

                                      Due to which, I have raised SR in the month of Sep2011, But every month once the bill got generated, i am able to see the late fee and non-discounted DSL usage amount.

                                      And also, i am getting calls from Customer Care ([protected]) to pay the o/s 388 which i am not clear how could it be possible without knowing the exact correct amount.

                                      Please clarify on this.

                                      Airtel — Broadband bill is not as per the plan

                                      I have been using airtel broadband from airtel for more then 5 Years ,
                                      For last 8 months the bogus bill have been generated . After several request whne they correct the bill stuff two months back for 6 months and said this will not repeat in future but again same types of bills are generated for last two months .

                                      Looks Airtel customer care is not at all sensitive care of customer request and complaint now a days at all.

                                      Can I request some Airtel customer care officer to look into this and help to solve this issue .
