I have recharged power voucher Rs43.00 on 15th August 2011 at 2.31pm TransID[protected], for All local calls Rs.0.30p per minute validity 30days.on My Mobile Phone [protected]. But After 3days 18th August 2011 this power voucher is automatically deactivated & call charges become Rs.0.50p per minute. Then I was complained about that customer care(198) & on 23rd August 2011 this power become Reactivated & call charges become Rs.0.30p per minute. But the deducted money was not refund. After few days on 25th August this Power voucher become again deactivated & call charges Rs.0.50p per minute. I was complained to customer care(198) but till date 01.09.2011 this was not activated. my money was refunded. Also my Customer Care line is disconnected. I want my money back & Penalty for my Harassment.

    It is now a really end of my tolerance level for Airtel sms. How many times i have to make a complaint for "DO-NOT-DISTURB". WHY I AM GETTING Messages like below, once i already have made several GENTLE requests (in a good language). Still I am getting messages though I dont need it. Look below for recent examples:

    especially regarding sms (1) above, why the balance is deducted without my permission. Airtel even didn't ask me for such offer, neither i subscribed for that. WHY THE HELL THIS IS HAPPENING?

    By asking whom you activate the services? Am I the SALARIED EMPLOYEE of AIRTEL to obey whatever you ask me to do? Don't think like that. Why this ##$#$ing customer support system is not so effective?

    How did you dare to send message again and again and again? Below are few tickets I raised long back, this is just for your example, after that none of your executives gave me the complaint numbers:

    I hope you are EDUCATED and can read above complaint. Why you people are playing with my patience and tolerance limits? Do you want me to use some abusive words? Do you want me to make police complaint? Do you want me to go to court? Do you want me to go to the news media to tell about your indisciplined and cheating management?

    Airtel is giving very rubbish support with some who play with my privacy. Airtel don't care about complaints. Airtel Cant take any actions. All airtel servers might be affected by viruses, that they can't process my complaints further.

    TO HELL WITH YOUR CUSTOMER SUPPORT SYSTEM AND TO HELL WITH YOUR PROMISES.

    BY HOOK OR CROOK, I WANT THIS RUBBISH THING TO STOP WITH 'IMMEDIATE' EFFECT. . . . . . . . . . . .NO SMSs, NOT A SINGLE CALL FROM AIRTEL SHOULD COME TO THIS NUMBER ([protected]).

    After this, one single SMS you send me, and your SIM card will be in drainage, and also other members in my friends group who are using Airtel (more than 50-60) will do the same. Just keep this in mind, that this is not a casual sentence,

    I CAN DO WHAT I AM WRITING HERE. SO DON'T PLAY WITH ME.
    I DON'T KNOW HOW TRANSPARENT YOUR PROMISES ARE. . . . . . BUT I WANT MY MONEY BACK THAT IS DEDUCTED UNNECESSARILY, WHATEVER 10 rs. 20 rs. 30 rs. . . . . . without my intention. Because I haven't subscribed ever for any of the subscriptions before. . . . . even if Rs. 10 is a smaller amount, we have to earn it, "hamara baap nahi deta paisa iske liye"..

      I have asked Airtel Digital TV Customer Service to unregister my mobile no. 3 months before so that I will not receive any unwanted sms alert from them.

      But still they have not solved my problem.

      Its like misguiding consumers.

      It's a worst service provided by you.

      Your Customer Care associate says that [protected] is not associated with any account.

      Still I receive alerts on the same saying your account has been successfully recharged.

      Are you able to resolve this issue or not?
      All those who are planning for DTH, I will suggest to go for Tata Sky than Airtel.

      Airtel is the worst in providing the customer satisfaction.

      Once you register your mobile no. with Airtel, you will receive frustrating alerts even if you asked them to deactivate that no. from the list.

      I am experiencing the same last 4-5 months.

      Even after talking to the Customer Care Executives no. of times, nothing happens.

        But My Complain is Why This kind of fake message should come? Why they can't stoppped?

          I am subscriber of Airtel 3G Services and currently subscribing to the Rs.200 plan (250 MB Free Usage).

          On August 2, 2011, I received a message saying that I have consumed 157 MB of 3G data usage, But my mobile handset records show that my usage was only 98 MB. I immediately called the customer care and spoke to Mr Arun Kumar and raised a request with the ID[protected]. He told he will check the same and rectify it. But, that did not happen. After that day, I stopped getting my 3G usage alerts.

          In my latest bill, I can see the usage is showing as 353 MB. But, my handset shows it is only 222 MB. I have been charged for the extra usage because of the incorrect data coming from your database. To report this, I made a call to the customer care again on August 22, spoke to Mr. Nagaraj and the request was raised with the ID 39186031. I was assured that the issue will be rectified in 2 days time. I have got multiple call backs from the customer service, but my issue is not resolved. Also, I am getting messages from Airtel that they tried to reach me on my mobile, but they could not which is a vague excuse, I believe.

          For last 5 months, my data usage in the bill was tallying with that of my handset. Why the issue is happened only this bill? I strongly believe there is an error happened at your system which is showing such a huge difference.

          I strongly urge you to stop cheating your customers like this. Technology is improved and the customers have a better option to track their usage. You should be aware of the same.
          I have faced numerous issues in the past also with Airtel, but this is a major one.

          I request you to correct this at the earliest and send me the updated bill.

          My bill date is nearing, so I need a rectification to this ASAP.

            I am an Airtel customer with mobile no "[protected]". I have subscribed for the DND service in the month of May 2011. But till date(1st Sep, 2011), I am receiving the SPAM ad calls and messages from below numbers:

            2. 56660
            3. 56363

            I callled to the airtel customer care no so many times. Some of my recent complaint reference nos:

            1. CBDAL[protected]
            2. CDRGP[protected]
            3. CBDAL[protected]
            4. RGCDE[protected]
            but they didnt took any action and situation hasn't changed any thing, and still receiving the calls and messages from the above mentioned numbers.

            Please do the needful to resolve this issue.

              I am facing the problem regarding my current Airtel billed amount. My credit limit was Rs. 5000/-. I was on international roaming on 27th July 2011.

              I emailed [protected]@in.airtel.com and informed the team that as per airtel policy when your credit limit exceeded why services were not stopped and informed them that I need a call from senior official. They didn't responded back. Instead of this they started calling me to pay. So I decided my services to be stopped from Airtel and getting this number changed to Vodafone or getting new number.

              I am unsatisfied with Airtel Customer Service and the mails I am discontinuing my services from Airtel and transferring this number to Vodafone. I am putting this number under transfer now.

              If I can received a message from 121 number stating that my bill has increased to 8343 then how you can say this statement " We regret to inform you that the usage notification from overseas telecom operators will have a time lag. Therefore, we might not be able to notify you on your unbilled usage and credit limit, if exceeded."

              You are giving a wrong statement to customers there is no time lag. You notified me and I have details. Please provide me a correct statement. I just need an answer why services were not disconnected when it exceeded my credit limit. As per Airtel Policy services get disconnected it happened last year on my companies other number when I was on international roaming this time why it didnt happened. I just need a correct written answer. I have all evidences regarding my previous emails when services were disconnected.

              Bharti Airtel — Inflated billing in international roaming

              I am using postpaid connection of Bharti Airtel since last 6 years in Gujarat. I also use mobile office while in national roaming to surf the emails. Recently in May 2009 i was on international roaming and as usual i surfed the internet to check my emails. After disconnecting i checked my data transfer and in the entire trip the same was about 2Mb. I was shocked that during my stay abroad the mobile went dead and on enquiring i learned that my mobile outstanding is nearly Rs. 34000. After returning to India i enquired the customer care whcih gave a standard streotype message that do interim payment to avail the services of incoming and outgoing. I approched the nodal officer but the reply was the same. I waited for the bill generation and was astonished to see that i was charged 52Mb of data. The bill showed 1Mb of data transfer every 30 to 50 seconds. I asked airtel personal in customer care that if one is surfing the internet on a standard mobile which do not have any blackberry services then how can he surf data at such high speeds. A standard webpage of all linex based email servers if of not more thna 5 to 10kB. My calls are still barrred, the nodal officer is not responding. I feel that there is some cheating in the volume of data being charged. Incedently in India when i use the same service Airtel charges me 20 to 100kB for the same surfing and in international its in Mb. Can any one advice what action should be taken.

              After several complaints and request to airtel we still recieves unwanted message on my prepaid no.[protected] for example celeb gossip from no.555630. Daily we recieve one message and they deduct one Rs. against the same. we feel this is a sofisticated robbery. I hope you will stop this otherwise we have an option to go for to for New service portability.
              I have never faced any problem with postpaid service which i am using since 2000.

              I have requested to know why my mobile services were not disconnected when it exceeded my credit limit of Rs. 5000/-, as it happened with me last year on different number in International roaming. I have given request to customer care to know this through emails and called them 10 times, they say you will receive call from senior official within 2 hours but till now that two hours didn’t came. This issue is going since 1st week of August when my bill was not even generated, now it has been more than a month I haven’t received any written answer from your company end.

              There is another issue that is related to very low Network Signals in Anand Niketan colony (110021) it has also been reported several times but we haven’t received any response from your team. Technician come and check signal in all houses then they say we will increase the frequency which they don’t do and close the cases.

              I would really appreciate if you could look into this and the emails below.

                    Airtel rejecting my MNP application
                    I am using airtel no [protected] (Delhi) for the last 5 Apr 2011 . And i want to change my mobile operator Through mobile number portability from airtel to VODAFONE.
                    And i went to VODAFONE show room and i submit my id proof and porting charges.

                    But i receive a message from VODAFONE that Airtel mobile operator reject your porting . Because of Contractual obligition. Actually in my case there is no contactual obligation with Airtel because mine was an individual normal PREPAID connection. they are simply delaying my complaint saying so many lies. Actually MNP is a customer right. but here airtel is denying that right for me.

                    I am planning to file a complaint in consumer court for compensation.

                    I am Haresh Kumar Indra, a Airtel User ([protected]), Coimbatore, since 4 years, have applied for a mobile number port out from Airtel to Aircel since am not getting network in area am working. i was rejected my portability thrice with no reasons. the only message i get is " rejected due to Because of Contractual obligition ".i lost my balance of Rs.450 for no reason recently. when asked to airtel there was condition kept that i have to cancel my porting request to resolve the problem. first time when they rejected they gave me the reason of rejected because my complain was solved.
                    the thing is it was not solved at all its still no network there.

                    I had request for porting my no- [protected] & other nos in CUG from Airtel to other service provider.

                    My request is getting canceled again & again stating the reason as 'Contractual Obligation in subscriber agreement'. When contacted to Airtel staff at there Nagpur Office first they did not responded & afterwards stated that you cannot port.

                    Iam requesting for porting all my numbers from Airtel since last 2-3 months but all in vain. Our porting request is getting rejected all the times stating some Contractual Obligation in the Subscriber Agreement.

                    You representing from Airtel so can you tell me what's that clause in the agreement for rejection. Upon approaching your Relationship centers your representatives are not ready to take any letter from the customer stating that they are instructed to do so.

                    I would request you to kindly do the necessary or otherwise I don't have anyother option than cancelling all my numbers and getting new ones from other service provider. As the tacts which Airtel is adopting are to cheap to keep their customers intact instead because of Airtel itself is making way for their customers to exit permanently and spoiling it's own reputation

                      I would like to inform you that I have recharged internet gprs pack of 98 on 18th August 2011 from your customer care service but till now on 31st August 2011, I am not able to use my internet, I have contacted your technical helpline number also that is [protected] more than 8 to 10 times but from there also I am not getting any satisfactory answer, i have contacted Mr. Rahul there he was a Team Lead in technical team and he told me to give just 2 more days I'll resolve your problem or I'll give your recharge amount back into your main account balance.
                      The error which I am getting when I try to browse my internet is "Packet Data: Authorization Fail", i have saved all the setting which I got from your customer care and I have done manual settings also but I not able to browse, I have changed the handset also in which but in other handset also I am getting the same error, I have contacted your ARC also but of not use.
                      Whenever I got call back from your service they simply says that your problem has been resolved and its working fine now we have checked at our center and they simply close the ticket but the problem remains the same in my handset.
                      I have contacted your Ahmadabad technical team also but from there also I have not got any satisfactory answer.
                      I have been using internet in my handset from the beginning when I purchased the connection but from last recharge I am not able to use internet, I am looking forward to here some good news from your technical team, I thought you can provide internet to your prepaid connections also handling so big number of connections can't resolve one simple problem.

                            Hi, I have logged the request for shifting of my airtel landline number with broadband from my old house to new house ( which is only 1 km far from old house) Vasundhara, Ghaziabad in Airtel Costomer Care on 24th August 2011. The complaint number was 2877912 and got deadline 26th August 2011 by Airtel for completing the shifting. But till 27 its not done. I have called many times in Airtel customer care from 27 August to 29 August 2011 but always got reply this will be done today. One of Customer representative told me that my complaint was not logged correctly so she has raised a new complaint num 3163304 on 29th August 2011. She has given me the deadline 30 th August 2011 but still not done. Then after having fatique, i have called in Nodal officer of airtel ( to esclate the issue). I have also called many times in Nodal office but still not got any satisfy answer. Few of them also told me deadline but still not achieved by airtel. I am surprised what is the problem why it is delaying. I never expect such type of service by Airtel. Please some one help on this and resolved my problem asap.

                            Airtel Broadband — Shifting of Landline & Broadband connection

                            We have raised a request to move our Landline and broadband connection to our new home on last tuesday[protected].The dealline of the request was 48 hours.But even after 1 week its not yet done.I have called customer care on 2nd,3rd,4th and 5th of september and raised compaints regarding the same.But still nobody from airtel backend office have contacted us even regarding the location of new home.

                            We have to pay this months full rent also,even if we are not using the broadband service of last one week.
                            I have updated my new address to Airtel on Sept 5th. Daily twice to customer care has been no use just waste of my money and listening to the IVR. Noone has yet contacted me or service person in my place.

                            Please take the necessary action for the same.

                            Airtel — Issue with Landline shifting

                            Hi Friend,
                            I am having a Airtel landline and Broad band approx. for the past 18 months. Recently i have requested for my landline shifting to new location with in chennai (near to Ampa Skywalk) on Aug. 23 , 2011. They said it will be shifted in 3 days , after 3 days they said that it will take maximum of 10 days due to up-gradation process is going on in Airtel. After 10 days, i am keep on calling them to their customer care about my land line request status from that day onwards at least 2 times per day but they keep on responded me with your landline will be shifted "As soon as possible". After few days only i get to know the meaning of "As soon as possible" is equal to in-definite period. I got frustrated with their process and they harassed for one month . So, i have decided to make them pay for their bluffing game with the customer.
                            Note :- Even before requesting for shifting the landline, i taught of cancelling the connection because of earlier issues Airtel regarding billing issues but they made me believe that they will provide better service but after that it became too worst . Please try to understand by seeing this note, how much i got frustrated with Airtel.

                            Please do the needful and get back to me with necessary informaton about how to go further with them.

                              That "free" internet access is perhaps applicable only for "Airtel Live" and not for general internet surfing. That's why you're being billed/charged for it. Same happened to me for Vodafone "3 days unlimited internet" package. I was being billed, later Vodafone told me its only for Vodafone Live and not general internet access.

                              My suggestion: Try connecting with "Airtel Live" connection instead of "Mobile Office" connection => you'll find it in your connection settings.

                                I am getting msg from 555630, 50101 regularly. I can not understand that how this type of service automatically activate without any responds from me. This is so many time that, I have face problem of this type of msg. and automatically deduct my balance. I have also try to talk customer care so many time through 121, 123 and 198 but at end time the call has been disconnect automatically. By the msg “thank you for calling artel.”

                                So I have try to start DND through online and I have get two time massage that your request has been accept. And the msg are :
                                1. “Dear customer, please enter following unique identification code on Airtel’s DND registration page to complete your registration nT7b” and I did that but the result is zero. Dt-23-aug-11
                                2. “Dear customer, please enter following unique identification code on Airtel’s DND registration page to complete your registration 0HDa” there after the result was zero. Dt-29-aug-11

                                Thereafter my balance deduct one by one. So I want to know why your network is very irresponsible.

                                So I kindly request to you please deactivate, if any service activate in my mobile “+91 [protected]”. And return my balance. Other wise I should be change my network

                                    I checked in airtel site for 2G internet usage (2 GB) in airtel site and found that it is Rs199 and recharged my mobile for Rs.199. When I turned on my internet all my account balance got deducted.

                                    When I contact customer care, the representative told that offer is for Rs.198. Why don&#039;t u update ur site with correct details?
                                    Hi,

                                    My mobile number is [protected] and it is under 299CUG plan with internet usage of 1GB limit.

                                    My mobile credit limit is 3600 rupees.

                                    In the monthly bill statement, on 11-Feb-2015 it is showing high usage and it crossed 1GB without using internet from my side.

                                    For the overall bill cycle, it is showing 1.8GB as consumed. For the 0.8 GB, customer service is asking me to pay around 8000 rupees.


                                    The issue was reported on 11-Feb-2015 and customer service updated me through SMS on 13-Feb-2015.

                                    During internet limit crossing and amount limit crossing, customer service did not provided me any intimation till next 2days i.e 13-Feb-2015.

                                    From 14-Feb-2015 my outgoing is blocked and asking me to pay the bill for around 8000.

                                    Today, my SIM got suspended.

                                    I am using this number from last 3.5years and never my bill crossed 600 and never my internet usage reached 1GB.


                                    Airtel Customer service doing wrong internet charges in the bill and asking to pay 8000 for 0.8GB.


                                    Also in market, for 1GB cost is around 200 rupees. But for post paid customer, playing the GIMMICKS and asking to pay the mentioned amount.


                                    Kindly help me in resolving this issue.

                                    i am your regular customer for the last 7-8 years, i have 1GB, RS 150 Plan. my bill period is from 22 to 23 . my bill is very high.on feb 5 i stopped using internet when my data came near 1gb so that i will not have any extra charges includ into my bill, even i call 121 nerly 22nd feb to stop my internet services. but inspite of all my internet bill is high.kindly waveoff my extra amount, kindly left me with some option so i cannot terminate my all four numbers from your company.
                                    My Airtel no [protected], the net pack I recharged for 3g is taking away useless data usage only for simple browsing its taking away 40-50 MB data usage for single click. pls check this and do the needful.
