I am facing the problem regarding my current Airtel unbilled amount. My credit limit was Rs. 5000/-. I was on international roaming on 27th July 2011.

Since last two weeks, I am receiving calls and messages from customer care that my current unbilled amount is approx 23297. If my credit limit was 5000 then why all my services were stopped. Last year it happened when I was on international roaming; also, i have examples where services got stopped for those users whose credit limit were got exceeded. On 30/07/11 : I received a message that "Your approximate unbilled usage as on 30 Jul 11 is Rs.8734." After the first notification also it was not stopped.

I emailed [protected]@in.airtel.com and informed the team that as per airtel policy when your credit limit exceeded why services were not stopped and informed them that I need a call from senior official. They didn't responded back. Instead of this they started calling me to pay. Please look into this.

Bharti Airtel — shifting others unbilled into my account

I sachin sharma using Airtel company's mobile connection was asked to pay an amount of Rs 3177 as that was not cleared by my brother who has been using airtel's connection. As my brother's number is not my add on connection, nor do i have anything to do with his number or other payments made my him, then his outstanding cannot be transferred into my account.

By forwarding his outstanding into my account they have stopped my connection due to which i have incurred a loss of 12000 in my business on 29th july and have been suffering a lot because i use to deal in equity and have not been receiving alters and other valuable information on the number.

I am into a job where jobs are done on a STAT basis and if the turn around time is not met then the company losses a percentage in its payment thus deductions are made to me.

I am unsatisfied with Airtel Customer Service and the mails I am discontinuing my services from Airtel and transferring this number to Vodafone. I am putting this number under transfer now.

If I can received a message from 121 number stating that my bill has increased to 8343 then how you can say this statement " We regret to inform you that the usage notification from overseas telecom operators will have a time lag. Therefore, we might not be able to notify you on your unbilled usage and credit limit, if exceeded."

You are giving a wrong statement to customers there is no time lag. You notified me and I have details. Please provide me a correct statement. I just need an answer why services were not disconnected when it exceeded my credit limit. As per Airtel Policy services get disconnected it happened last year on my companies other number when I was on international roaming this time why it didnt happened. I just need a correct written answer. I have all evidences regarding my previous emails when services were disconnected.

As your are refering to old emails then I would like to refer to an email I
have sent to consumer compliant office with all your emails and phone
conversation.My concern has still not been addressed by your company. If you
check all my emails my company and my concern was related to why services were
not stopped when it crossed my limit that was 5000/-. And till now why response
email/call has not come from your senior official regarding the same. Within 24
hours I need an answer to my question. And I received email stating that once
bill is generated you will get call.

    I'm receiving useless promotional ads from Airtel for BodyGuard songs caller tune. I do not need that. While trying for "do not disturb" @ airtel, as always the idiotic site says internal server error (I do not know how come everytime you try the site do not work while I heard they say to their client company that the server must not go even for 5 min down). Please stop sending the any kind of promo/ad sms/call to [protected] and also get your server repaired and make it up and running atleast an hour a day with the info posted which time it would function.

    i, sobin having registered for DND for mobile number [protected] ..with a reference number S[protected]. but still getting lots o[censored]nwanted promotionla sms from numbers 55435,555630, 555633 etc. Please take necessry action.

    Hi this is "Tanuj", customer with "Airtel Bharti Ltd" from last 3-4 months.

    I am already registered for DND since mid of DEC-10, but still on daily basis, i received a promotional SMS on daily basis.

    Many times I asked to the Airtel customer care executive. They asked many times, you will not received a message from the tat time. the tat is going on, but still receiving SMS on daily basis.

    I marked a mail to Airtel, the pop up is coming, we will get back to you with in 24 hours. but still can't get any action, or revert to me.

    I faced that problem in my two numbers from last 3 months.

    My numbers are [protected] [protected].

    I had a network problem from last 3 months itself.

    I requested to you kindly take a action AS SOON AS POSSIBLE.

      I am using Micromax MMX 310G modem for internet browsing.
      I am staying Kestopur near Milan Bazar Kolkata 102.
      Problem is that i am getting extremely slow internet connection in that place from last 3 days.
      I contacted customer service center but problem is not resolved.Hope this time problem get resolved.

      I started GPRS on my mobile 6/6/2008 & then on 7/6/2008 i want to disconnect it, so i send many SMS .They also give me reply that System is under upgradation so send SMS on 8/6/2008 after 2 PM.so i send SMS on 8/6/2008.

      but airtel cut my Rs.45 including 3 days i.e from 7/6/2008 t0 8/6/2008 .so it is unfair.

      BUT I CAN'T U S E GP R S SE R V I CE!!!
      I had subscribed for Airtel GPRS offer for Rs.274 one month ago in Kerala circle. It took 4 days to activate the offer in my mobile. The speed was poor as compared to that of idea and vodaphone. And the help from customer care was also poor. After exactly 30 days, the GPRS got inactivated. In fact i got service for only 25 days excluding the activation period. When I tried to recharge again for 274 rupees, the customer care executive told that the validity of connection is reduced to 15 days. I dont know what the is airtel doing. While Idea and Vodaphone comes up cheap rate plans for GPRS access in Kerala, airtel tightens the claws.
      Yes I agree Sooraj. Airtel has shocked me by increasing the gprs price by a whole 200%. This has been terribly disappointing for me cause till now airtel was my only and the best mean to get to the internet. (since I live near a rural area).

      But luckily for me asianet dataline is coming to my area soon so I will change from this crappy gprs. But many others may not be so lucky.

      Like you said airtel has increased its price like they expect the customers to cough up the 274 x 2 = Rs 548/month. Infact for the same price I can get a 128 kbps unlimited connection from asianet. Looks like airtel's new brainless official wants to kill their own customers.

      This month me and my friends have dropped airtel gprs. Good going airtel. >.>

      I am yet another victim of Airtel's malicious billing. I have been charged 2.8K for a month's GPRS usage!! I have asked the personal to disconnect my connection, instead they have sent me some legal notice!! Huh quite funny!!

In the month of Aug and Sept the gprs was working fine but in this month of Oct I activated and deativated twice a time. The connection to server get disconnected and I am totally unable to use it. This has been queried with 121. I found no result. It is not working proper yet and I am unable to activate gprs. I had been just paying daily rent without using internet. I want to recover the four days of rent. I am very very disappointed with the gprs and customer care service.

      Many times i faced the problem during connecting GPRS .When i connect suddenly it shows there is no gateway to process r some times it will disconnect automatically .. I gave complaint in customer care also still now its not cleared .. For this problem i spend more money and time ...

      AirTel — GPRS download and charges

      I have an airtel postpaid connection and have been using it for official purpose.
      From 7th evening onwards I have been getting messages from the 646 numbers saying that I have downloaded a lot of WAP applications. These messages kept coming again and again.
      I called the customer care on 7th evening and they said they cannot do anything as the bill was not generated. The messages kept coming saying the I have been charged Rs99, 50, 10, 15 etc.
      Soon the bill reached Rs 2400 on 10th Dec (It was Rs 114 on 7th).
      I complained 2 times to Airtel and started calling the nodel officers but nobody was responsible enough to give any meaning full explanation. My numbers outgoing was bar'ed. My bill was generated on 12th and then I called the nodal office and they dint have any valid explanation. Now as of 16th I totally lost the connection. Right now they dont even respond to my calls.
      I want to take some action and considering going to consumer court.
      My advise to all ..please dont use or suscribe to Airtel live services as the company or the people dont have any idea of whats going on and why bill of such magnitude was generated in a span of 2 days. FYI my airtel bills have always been under Rs 500 for the past 1 year.
      excess amount of gprs has been charged. i have send message for 349 rental plan as it was on yur background of 121 that type agprs and send message to 121. i have send that message but [protected]@30kb was charged to me and huge amount of Rs.1000 apprx. was charged to my account.so please wave up that amount and charged according to the pro rata rate of 349 for those days on which i have used. I just clicked on the link and read the contents of "Cost" and "T&C", and exited. There was no option given to subscribe for the service. 2 days later, I received another browser msg telling, your 'subscription' of Jumaani will be renewed in 2 days. To red your prediction or to unsubscribe, go to the link given.. Again, there was no option to unsubscribe. After 10 days, Rs.10 got deducted from my account and I received a msg after that.
      I had another problem with Airtel Live earlier. They had send me a link to subscribe for free wallpapers, with only Re.1 being charged. As per the subscription, they were supposed to send me links to download wallpapers for free. I got the confirmation msg after I selected an option "games" in the link, telling Re.1 has been deducted, and there was this link in the same msg, "http://m.igfun.com". I visited the link, and saw games and clicked on "Dakar2008", hoping that its free of cost. I got a msg again, with the deduction of Rs.99, but the game download was not successful, saying "Invalid File". I gave a complaint to Customer Care regarding this. They called me back some time later, and said that they have sent me the link to download the game again, but I never received the same. This went on for 2 weeks, as I kept giving complaints.. I still did not receive the game. Then they BLOCKED my number to customer care!

      I TOOK AIRTEL SIM FROM (VASAI-MUMBAI) AND TRIED TO GET

      BUT THEIR NOT SENDING ME MOBILE(MOTOROLA-E-6) SETTING AND DEDUCTING EACH TIME RS.15, AND THEIR ALWAYS REPLY
      IS THAT WE ARE SORRY WE WILL SEND KNOW, BUT NO INTERNET
      CONNECTION WORKING AS THEIR NOT SENDING MOBILE SETTING, PLEASE REFUND MY ALL MONEY DEDUCTED BY AIRTEL, PLEASE

      i am reacharegd with rs.96. i get 100mb (for day) 2gb(for night). when i useing 5 kbs i lost 50kbs. becos company"s system showing only 2 digit after point(.) eg 94.20MB.my rfone number is [protected]
      i subscribed for vbc89 plan and it worked well. the gprs settings in my phone got deleted and suddenly i am being charged whenever i browse. we need some special settings for the plan. how do i download the settings since i have still got some validity time remaining.

      sir , I just started gprs service with 100 free at day time & 2 GB at night .when i started service that time i notedown previous net used detail that was 9.78 GB and now it is 10.11 GB but now when i an going to acces gprs there make deduction from my account although i already payed

      I m RAVI RAPRA n i m using a airtel postpaid connection ([protected]) since so many years in under corporate connection (HCL tech. pvt ltd.) now the prob is that some months back my num was blocked for some reasons but after tht it has been reactivated now n when i m tryin to use the GPRS connection thn the web page is not openin i know very well abt the GPRS facility n the same i was using wid the same (GPRS mnthly rent Rs. 99) num before blockin u can check ur rcds, i think now this service is not actvtd if it is not actvtd thn actvte it n giv me proper responce wid the call back on my alt num [protected].

      This is my 2nd complaint..i hate to do this but....this is regarding the gprs facility provided by airtel...the connection just stays inactive most of the time and whenever (by a miracle) it does activate ..the speed is just too low ..I downloaded 2 kB in 20 mins...2kilobytes...come on.....i hope you address this problem quickly.

      I had gprs problem in my area...wasnt able to connect properly. I called the customer care they told me it must be settings problem and sent me new settings. It dodnt work..now again i called and they said that there was a network upgrade going on and it would work after maximum 2 hours but it didnt...and now the airtel system diabled my number from contacting airtel. But i called again after 2 hours from another phone...now they were telling that there was congustion in my area and it would get done in 4 hours. The GPRS plan was for 24 hours and from that they are taking 4-6 hours repairing something and giving wrong reasons..
      AirTel is a leader in Telecom but I have a bitter experience with their Support
      Close to 50 calls if not more must have been made to[protected] their support numbers to restore my GPRS . The experience has been interesting - I have recited who I am, from where I am and the purpose of my calling - like a parrot to every single executive, who will promptly say the problem wil be resolved within 2 hours or wil promise to transfer to the tech dept.

      Well all I am benefitted now is a free live music - the airtel tone.

      Nothing has happened even at the time of writing this
      I hope some one in AirTel looks at this as I have high regards for the co but dont know why their customers are treated like this

After 10:30 PM (22 may 2010) 10 Rs. Deduced from my a/c but services not activated. At next day on 23 may 2010 at 11:30 am I have call to costumer care for information that how I will connect Internet. But they have ignored me. After 12:00 PM to 11:30 PM I was continually calling to customer care but call has automatically disconnected. Sir I suffered with critical problem please respond me.       I called customer care on[protected] and told about their poor GPRS service. The customer care executive told that the problem would be solved before[protected]. I called customer care again on[protected] and told that I'm still experiencing poor GPRS service. He told that the problem was already solved and told me to check my mobile. The problem is not solved yet. I've asked my friends about the connection speed everyone said that they were still experiencing the problem. Solve the problem immediately

      I have activated internet pack(GPRS) on my handset and use it quite frequently, but many a times the service provider Airtel has deactivated my GPRS before the expiry of my GPRS validity. I have to call customer care where they say that no internet is activated on my phone. With much difficulty when i explain them everything they send me the settings again. This happens very frequently. Along with this currently my phone shows being connected to the internet but i am not able to access any website through my phone. It always says that server is not responding. Also they have blocked the customer care number from my phone. Previously also they have done it very frequently. I have proper internet activated on my phone and it is still valid.

How would it be possible when my GPRS connection is not enabled. I have complained the customer care and there has been no response or reversal of money debited.

        There is something rotten in state of Sunil Bharti Mittal. Airtel could be now on way to become worst broadband service from best in this country just last year. I called almost a month back to get new broadband connection, service which is available in our area. They created as usual ticket and told me someone will contact me in three days and in another three days I will get my connection. One person from Prameela Enterprise did show up and promptly filled up the form, took the check for two thousand rupees with promise that connection will be available soon. A week later when no one showed up, I called up Airtel and they told me sorry someone that they have registered my complain and someone will show up soon. Another week passes by and I called Airtel customer service number and now I am told that they have misplaced my application and they get the contact person from Prameela Enterprise on phone who tells them that indeed he had filed application and they tell me on the phone they will indeed sort this out and send someone soon. Guess what another week passes and no one shows up, so I call up again and this time only thing the rep agrees that he will courier me the check back. They don't want any more new customers, it is end of Airtel broadband!
        I hope this company dies soon and please return my check. My application number is TBLR 268938 and the rep who came to my house his contact number is: [protected]

        I don't believe that anyone tried to contact me on my cell phone that was given as contact number in original application.
        Either you people need to stop advertising this email "[protected]@in.airtel.com" for communication or read the email. I have send all the details and even included link to this complain in that email.
        The complaint has not been resolved, I have not received money or connection!

          Dear Sir,

          After having suffered for more than 9 months It is time that we send you written complain for necessary compensation as the Telephone Mobile Service Provider ( Airtel ) has not been giving any bills since past 9 months.

          Yet taking money without giving any bill for any arbitrary amount and have been always threatening that if we don't pay what ever they are asking they will disconnect the line.

          On the other hand we as consumer have left with no choice but to pay what ever these people are asking for with always request that please send us the bills.

          This marry go round has been happening since the month of Nov'10, on sending them written letter hand delivered they have send only for one month the bills of the phone and again resorted to the same age old technique of extorting money even with out giving any bills.

          We are completely vexed with this approach and are completely kept in dark of the money that we are paying month after month to keep our line on without even knowing how much we have used our telephone for and under what heading that we have spend money.

          In the bigning i manged with my accountants dept without giving bills and yet taking money out and giving it to Airtel since both the connection are in the name of my office but always i have been questioned for the bills against payments.

          Since past few months as per the instruction of both my Auditor as well as Accounts people who have very clearly instructed me that payments will be disbursed only when we are becoming tougher in asking that we can only pay on receiving bills and not otherwise.

          Since past three occasion they have started even disconnecting our connection and even the incoming is also barred which says ( SIM CARD REGN FAILED ) which is not acceptable at all since being a PLATINUM CUSTOMER for last more than 6 yrs.

          This frequent disruption has caused huge losses to my business amounting to almost Rs 10 lacks on one occasion and Rs 5 Lack in other which i would like to get from Airtel for their misbehavior of continuously extorting money without even paying the bills.

          Further again on the same basis i have paid interim payment after loosing the business so that i do not loose more business as there is no remedy with Airtel on the 12 the Aug'11 for both the above telephone.

          Again since yesterday night again my phone is disconnected even after making payment ( which is any way a very regular phenomenon ) with Airtel and seeing this i went to my Bank today morning and made a stop payment of the Cheque which i have released thinking that they will begin my connection as well as send me the bills and regularize the whole matter.

          But all went into vain again as there is a breach of trust by taking money and again disconnecting the line, and again loss of my business. Based on this i have taken a decision & i have stopped payment and also want the loss which i have incurred to be given to me come what may.

          I am ready to take this matter to what ever level it wants and get the compensation and the punishments to Airtel by stopping them to ex trot money from any customer without giving them the bill.

          Hope to have justice on this matter quickly.

            I have been using Airtel broadband for past 2 years . last 2months i am facing problems in the connection, inspite of giving more than 7 complaints for the same problem in the same month no proper response is received from the service center at coimbatore. As per the promised time frame of 12 hrs the service centers should be present at the work place but no personnel has sorted out this problem. The service people cont pick the calls and disconnect the calls also when called they saying that they'l come in one hour which they fails to do so. I have already paid for the whole year and this is not the 1st time i am harassed by the service people at coimbatore.
            Dear airtel team,

            This is to remind u that since there is no reply from your side for the mails that i have been sending for past few weeks i am going to take this matter in a legal court.

              Dear Sir,

              I would like to congratulate TRAI on its efforts to publish this Consultation paper on Broadband QoS - "Bandwidth required for ISPs for better connectivity and improved quality of service". I really admire TRAI for its initiative, forethought and the enduring work for a better quality of telecom service in India despite apathy from several quarters including the government.

              With this letter I would like to bring to your notice a controversial and unfair
              decision of Airtel Broadband with subject to "Airtel Fair Usage Policy".
              Airtel Fair Usage policy has become the latest nightmare for the customers of
              Airtel Broadband.

              "Airtel Fair Usage Policy" or AFUP is totally unfair on customers with Unlimited
              broadband plans as Airtel has decided to cap all unlimited plans starting from 15GB for 256kbps and reducing the speed to 128kbps for further downloads. Unlimited plans cannot and should not have restrictions on either the promised speed or unlimited data.

              As per information/emails received by customers from Airtel, the limit on unlimited plans are as follows:


              512 kbps = 5 GB data limit per month - after that speed reduced to 256kbps
              1 Mbps = 15 GB data limit per month - after that speed reduced to 256kbps

              Airtel users have confirmed that their speeds have been reduced.

              Let me to explain the which i'm facing in Airtel right now. I'm using airtel broadband for the past 11 months. I'm on 1 mbps unlimted plan. My average download per month would be 30 Gb atleast. In the middle of july month my speed had ben update to 2Mbps without any official notification and i continued to use it. My billing period is 26 to 25 for every month. On july 29th i got the notification in the browser that i had exceed the 80% usage of my FUP and after the Limit my speed has been revised as per my plan. then the next day my speed has been reduced to 256 kbps. In this 11 months , i never experienced such a problem like FUP. But nw they are telling that as per my plan , they are supposed to give only 15 Gb data limt and afterwards the speed will be only 256 kbps.They doubled my speed to 2 mbps, Because of this large bandwidth, even if i use internet 10hrs a day, 15 Gb data limit would be merely crossed in 5 or 6 days. This is totally not the 1 mbps plan. I'm paying 1200 plus according my plan and i'm supposed to use the internet about the speed of 256 kbps for the rest of the month (24- 26 days).

              Once the unlimited broadband data is capped, it ceases to be an Unlimited plan. When the speed is reduced to less than the minimum 256kbps it ceases to be a TRAI defined broadband connection. Airtel in fact is violating the very
              TRAI definition of broadband connection in India and this will be a very serious lapse by Airtel.

              Airtel had merely suggested AFUP in its response to TRAI's consultation paper on "Bandwidth required for ISPs for better connectivity and improved quality of service". But now Airtel has gone ahead and implemented AFUP. This means that Airtel is enforcing data transfer limits on their supposedly unlimited plans without the consent of TRAI or its own customers. Does this not amount to cheating or fraud on its customers and in direct violation of TRAI's guidelines on broadband?

              We have always believed Airtel to be different from other ISPs in India.They have always charged a premium and continue to do so for unlimited plans. Initially everything felt just right with Airtel Broadband. But things are apparently changing for the worse. Only TRAI can protect consumer interests from the wrath of such mind numbing decisions that put barriers in nascent growth of broadband in India.

                My name is ram, i have recently ported to airtel from vodafone, in very first month am facing problems o[censored]neven billing charges and poor customer service. I rarely use gprs/internet on mobile phone as i use Tata Photon Mobile broadband service. I used gprs from mobile (when am away from my system) like i used to use before porting but am shocked to see that in the very first month am charged Rs. 4,653 only for the gprs charges where am usually charged not more than Rs. 50 to 100 in Vodafone with same usage (without any internet rentals).

                My services are barred without providing me details why the charges are levied but on bill generation i confirmed it was for gprs usage charges.

                It is surprise to see that the time i used gprs as shown in bill is the time i slept at night and when am busy in office - i can’t use gprs on mobile when am sleeping and its funny to think that i used in office where am connected to 100mbps internet.

                I have called customer service several times and spoke with several people when my unbilled amount is Rs. 2700 even after requesting for cancellation of gprs services and after disabling gprs completely from my end i was surprised to see the charges are now Rs. 4,653.

                I have all the details of the persons whom i spoke with and the emails i have sent but none handled the issue.

                So friends, be careful before porting.

                I don't understand what work has been done since one week, you replied to my concern on 13 Aug and i received call from one of your team member on 16 Aug evening who just told me that my concern is being taken into consideration and driving towards resolutions but when i asked him do you actually know what the concern is all about and the airtel no. which am inquiring he could not answer.

                I explained him the issue once again and gave the mobile no. which am inquiring about finally he told he will get back to me on with resolution on 17 Aug morning. I did not get till now.

                Also on the same day 16 Aug i received call from your collections team for recovery of bill amount, they asked me to pay half of the bill amount and i said that i will pay for what i have actually used. I asked her to email me with the conversation had on phone, she did not sent an email nor called back me for resolutions.

                Services are barred since last 20 days and don't understand how long it will still take. Please don't make me to regret further for porting into airtel from vodafone.

                So was the case when I used to use Airtel. It was because of these thrilling charges levied by this so-called Premium Service provider that I had to port to another service provider. Some charges levied by them are so unreasonable and unreliable that it is hard to believe the same. It is a total distrust of the hype that the brand Airtel carries. It is only because of its undoubtedly good network that it has a good customer base but if the above mentioned things continue at the same spree, the days are not far when Airtel's customer base will go down like the markets in the US.

                  Hello,

                  I have lodged a Service Request 447157 on 05.07.11 to shift my landline connection [protected] [|BAL|Qrc[protected]|] with IPTV. I was promised that within 20 days the connection will be shifted.

                  When enquired again on 22.07.2011 Airtel closed Service Request 447157 and lodged a new Service Request 1538093 which was promised to be resolved shortly.

                  On 11.08.2011 when complained to Airtel Nodal Office and subsequent calls to customer care I was told the previous Service Request 1538093 is closed on 01.08.2011 and new Service Request 1636924 is now there which will again take 20 days for completion.

                  My concern is why Airtel has closed the Service Request 447157 & 1538093 without my consent.

                  I am being told by Airtel than my request is pending due to system up gradation and technical issues. My neighbor has got a new connection with the same plan I had applied for this week.

                  If Airtel is not able to provide services which in turn has forced me to use Costly wireless internet it is the customer who is at loss. Airtel is still not able to commit on a exact date on which the connection can be shifted.

                  I have the emails for the communication send to Airtel with me.

                  I want complete refund of 2250 INR as the installation charges and refund for bill payment for the month of July of 1253.57 INR immediately so that I can apply for broadband with a another Service Provider.

                    I am using airtel gprs postpaid service for last one year, already paid advance Rs.999/- rental for this service other than monthly bill. for last one year it was alright, but for last one month I am not getting gprs service in my area and put up several complaints, in customer care, but still this problem has not been resolved.now if I am surrendering my connection I will be simply loosing my rental charges. so either they give me the service or return my rental amount.

                    I bought a "NOKIA N8" mobile phone and i got 6 months subscription of free internet service on phone from Airtel but after using it for 3 months the service had been interrupted.
                    I called to the customer care 10 to 12 days earlier and asked them to resume the left service but they didn't cooperated me and from the last 3 days they not getting me connected to customer care officer.

                      As of this moment none of the Airtel representatives have come to our place to get this rectified and on repeated calls to customer care there has been no proper response or a deadline as to when this issue would be solved
                      We are a service apartment where guests use the phones to make STD and ISD calls and because of this problem we are at the receiving end of some very angry guests threatening not to come back to our place because of bad service rendered to them.
                      We have been with Airtel for the pat six(6) years and have never faced such problems before. Its quiet sad to know that your quality of services are diminishing .so look into the matter and get the issue resolved asap.

                          I want to change the billing date of my airtel broadband .no [protected] .
                          Its due date is 29th of every month which is very odd and i mostly miss the bills as I generaly pay all my dues in first week of month after salary .

                          I have allready paid huge late payement charges and wanted to change the billing date in such a way that due date falls in first week of every month . I believe this would be doable things as I have not been told during connection that your bill date will be fixed .This is really very harassing for me and I am either left to discontinue from Airtel or be on their mercy .

                          I have spoken to 121 several times but without any help .

                            I m geeting charged Rs. 5 for [protected]@5 service per day without using it.I have many Complaints to Airtel Customer Care but i not getting any stisfied fesponse from their side.Plz stop this as soon as possible as i cant afford this deduction any more my number [protected]
                            please de-activate this service.
                            SOLUTION TO THIS PROBLEM -

                            1. Send "STOP" msg to 121
                            2. It will give a list of all activated subscriptions, then choose the serial no. of 'masti pack' and again send it to 121.
                            3. It will ask to you to confirm it. Do so!
                            4. After an hour or two you will be sent a msg that this service has been stopped. There you go, the service has been "UNSUBSCRIBED".

                              Refer my complaint on 04 Aug 11. I sent another mail to this effect but still there was no response... Further I recharged Rs 100 and told them to change my package which has been thrust upon me. Its almost half a month and I ' watching unwanted channels thanx to airtel.
                              The customer care reps are totally clueless and cold. They cant help and keep repeating same statements without any positive response... can some air tel rep call and restore my connections.

                              I feel the woes with dealing with Airtel does not end...

                              I requested for 'South Super Value › 119 channels @ Rs.120 pm + taxes' on both my connections on 31 Aug 11.

                              I had specifically mentioned the package name to the lady on line. But now I find that I have been provided a pack South super value with 3 language pack for Rs 170.97 pm on 1st connection and value pack for Rs 159.94 pm on the second connection.

                              I wonder i[censored] can pl provide me what I am asking for i.e. South Super Value › 119 channels @ Rs.120 pm + taxes instead of imposing what I do not want.

                              I expect a positive result immediately.

                                  This is Rajat using airtel mobile number [protected] post paid connection for above 10 months. I have activated airtel 3G on 18th of July Rs.100 for 100MB and deactivated the same on 31th of July but i realized airtel charging extra MB’s against that I have used.

                                  I called customer care and they told “we can’t do anything”

                                  From Airtel I received this message on 25th of July.

                                  "Your 3G data usage as on 24th July is 16MB which is 27% of your total available free usage. If you wish to upgrade your pack, SMS 3G to 121."

                                  Yes, I have query should you people have common sense to distinguish what is wrong and what is right.
                                  I believe you didn't do homework before replying because if you cross checked the 3G data usage messages that sent via SMS at regular intervals with the data usage calculated in bill then you would definitely found the huge difference.

                                  I think here you are accepting that any Airtel communication via SMS is just a way to make people fool !!!

                                  This is pre-intimation that I'm not going to pay a single paisa of fake bill.

                                    Sir i have purchased airtel preepaid sim bearing no.[protected] from Ananta R.B.Associates,Airtel Express Outlet,G-1,Ganpati Tower,Vashali Nagar ,Jaipur,Ph.[protected] on dtd 08.08.2011.they have charged rs.200/- and told me that you will get Rs.60/- talk value. I asked them that you are charging Rs.140/- for the sim which is on very higher side as into my knowledge sim is costing only Rs.25/-approx,but they told me that this is companies price. i asked them to give me the bill for the same ,but they also refuse to give the bill of the company and give me receipt of Rs.200/- which has no registration number.they insure me that sim will activate after few hours. Sir till dt.11.08.2011 my sim is not activated. although I personaly visited there shop on dtd.09.08.2011 and launched the complaint that the sim is not activated,they ensured that it will definately starts in the evening but all in vain.Sir i call them more then ten to fifteen times to activate my sim ,but no action has been taken by them except saying it will activate with in few hours.Sir your goodself is requisting to look into the matter and take necessary action as per rules againt them.Looking forwered for favourable Justice.Thanking you.

                                    Sir after four days i contected Ananta R.B Associates at their Ph no.[protected] that my sim is not yet activated. firstly they asked that your incomming is now activated you can check it, but when i checked it was not activated. Then i call them and told them that it is not working. They asked me that you may recharged the phone atleast Rs10/- then it will started. I told them that you said to me that there is a balance of Rs60/-in it, then why i recharged it. Then they asked me to wait for another few hours. sir then i called them in the evening and they told me that your form is rejected due to over writing.Sir at the time of issuing me preepaid sim no [protected] they took my signatures on the form with my photograph and tell me that they wil do all the other formalities like filling up the form at their end. Sir i fail to understand why they are harrising the coustomers like this.

                                      Airtel - post paid — Billing of mobile wrong- company doing fraud with consumer

                                      I am sourabh vishwakarma. I took airtel post paid about 1.5 year ago. at that time my postpaid plan was home india 149. for this i paid 1000 Rs. but this plan not suit to me hence i switched to other plan 444 in December 2007. in this plan company provides 444 minutes(7hrs 40 min.) local plus STD calls free and also 444 local SMS free for every month against 444 rupee as rental . but when i recieved the bill i was shocked because it was very high amount then earlier.
                                      My total uses for this month is 7hrs33 min. and as per policy i didn't get full dissount. even in bill this is wrote that i have got 444 minute's local plus std's call free. but this bill not matched as per bill plan. on discussion with their customer care they are not providing the answer and confussed me. now i want to apeal againt this bill to consumer forum.

                                      1. Issuing Fraud Mobile number by giving wrong information- Even after repeatedly telling and confirming Airtel executive Mr.Ganesh from Vega Center Pune issued me a fraud Add-On number.
                                      After the first bill it was agreed by Airtel relationship center in Chinchwad that the number issued was wrong and fraud.
                                      Still i used to pay the bill regularly without enjoying the benefits of the Add-ON card.
                                      After payingthe bill also Airtel executives used to call eveyday day for many times asking to pay bill disturbing the whole day.
                                      Finally i discontinued the service.
                                      After this they used to take out number from my dialing history and call them and used to disturb them and tell them that there is courier for me.
                                      PLs help i m tired of Airtel and fed up of this calls with no mistake of mine.

                                      Airtel / Postpaid Mobile Connection — 3G Charges/Usage Disparity

                                      This is in regards to my bill dated 21 June 2011, Airtel Number [protected], Relation Number[protected], Bill Number[protected].

                                      This bill shows my internet usage as 250Mb, where in have a free usage o[censored]pto 100Mb.

                                      I receive regular SMSs from Airtel regarding the usage. Hence I make sure that I do not cross the 100Mb limit to avoid any additional charge on the usage, Though I have not crossed the 100Mb mark yet, till this month that is.

                                      I have not received any intimation(SMS) stating that I have exceeded or atleast a message stating that I have touched the 100Mb mark.
                                      On the contrary, I have 3 SMSs on 13th, 14th, 15th stating that I have used 94Mb or 94% of my free usage.
                                      And none after that.
                                      As there was only 4 days for the bill to be generated, I did not mind even if I crossed the 100Mb mark as it would not have been by a great deal.

                                      But the usage of 250Mb is quite a surprise as my previous records have never touched 100Mb.

                                      When I called Customer care, one of the agents informed me that I crossed the 100Mb mark on 15th. So it is interesting to know that I used 150 Mb in the last 4-5 days.
                                      The only use of 3G is to read RSS feeds, Check gmail and visit 3-4 websites a day. And I do not see how that should/would increase my usage to such numbers.
                                      I have wireless connection at home for any heavy download (if any).

                                      More over, my contention is that I was not notified that I have crossed the 100Mb mark, rather mislead-ed into thinking that I have not.
                                      Now it is the wrong information passed you Airtel's side that has caused us to be in a situation we are in.
                                      If I was notified about the correct usage by SMS, I would have stopped the 3G on my phone, then wait for 19th (when the bill is generated) and then enable 3G back again.
                                      As it was Airtel which sent me wrong usage information about my usage, I refuse to pay the 3G charges.
                                      It is not my mistake that I was lead into thinking that I have not crossed 100Mb mark.


                                      I have had this connection for 5 years and generally have had good service, except this year, since Mobile Number Portability has come into use.
                                      There had been issues with Billing all along this year.
                                      With charges that weren't supposed to be there.
                                      SMS plans that I had disabled, were being billed, 3G plan getting deactivated in the middle of the month.


                                      I have spoken to Customer Care who have promised a call back from concerned team/manager regarding the issue, but have only call from sales asking me for an upgrade of plan.
                                      I do not mind paying for services I have used, but not for services I have not.
