Dear Sir/Madam,

I am writing this email to bring to your notice and requesting your help in resolving the discrepancy in airtel billed amount for the services of June'2011. The Airtel activated the 3G services on my mobile no.[protected] on 03/06/2011 and got SMS for the same from airtel, immediately called up the customer care and requested for deactivating the 3G connection, restoring my 2G connection and he confirmed me that this request would be executed immediately. But the representative of airtel did not execute my request till 22/06/2011. I was of the presumption that 3G was deactivated on 03/06/2011 itself. On 22/06/2011, I came to know that my GPRS was deactivated, called the customer care and came to know that 3G was not at all deactivated on 03/06/2011. I have been wrongly charged for the GPRS services used during 03/06/2011 to 22/06/2011 at the rate of 3G tariffs (the billed amount for June'2011 is Rs.3274/-), I should have been charged for GPRS services for said period as per 2G tariffs (i.e. Rs.98 for 2GB limit). I have raised multiple nos. of complaints with Airtel & [protected]@airtel.in, but the answer given to me is "the billing is proper" & "on 03/06/2011 3G activation request was given by me. It is really false, I have not at all requested for 3G activation on 03/06/2011, when I got SMS of 3G activation, I called customer care to deactivate it. The airtel officers have not at all verified the voice record of the conversation had on 03/06/2011.

You can look at the June month Airtel bill, wherein there is proof that I called Airtel customer care 4 times on 03/06/2011 itself to deactivate the 3G services. But the 3G services was not deactivated until 22/06/2011.
This mistake is from Airtel side and not from my side. So the charges should be waived off.

Request you to resolve this issue at the earliest as the bill is overdue.

It has been 2 months, I have not yet got any resolution to my concern. I do not know will it be resolved in my life time. It really shows how the Airtel is serving and cheating to the nation.

    AirTel Customer Service — not attending call bt customer services

    i have taken a connectiuon of Airtel. before 14 days activated teh gprs service. bt frm last 7 days i am not able to use the service. after consulting the customer srvices they didnot reply satisfactory and bared my call to customer care executive so that i am not able to talk with airtel representatives on [protected] as i dial 9 to connect customer care executive call is disconnected at the time of starting my gprs service i have faced the same problem then i called from reliance no, because of this i am facing a lot of problem.
    any time mostly b/w 2-3 am suddenly i got sms and its mentioned tht u have been charged rs.100 nd rs.95. nd after amt deduction we r unable to make calls to customer care. itni madarchod co. maine nahi dekhi. now after loosing amount of 650 do they co. think tht i will stay connected with. thnks to MNP service, 3 no. have been already moved to co. and 11 no. will more move just wait and watch. i would never ever recommend anyone to choose airtel.

      Dear All,,

      We are facing all of trouble from Airtel.

      First we have applied for MNP (Airtel to Vodafone) on dated 12/07/2011. That has been cancelled due to contractual aggreement.Although, we have no agreement with Airtel regarding this. We had gone to Laxmi Nagar relationship agency and met Mr Sunny & Suman for knowing the correct reason for cancellation MNP but they have not given proper reply and told that again you will apply.

      We have again requested that please convert my connection in Pre paid to post paid. They told that new SIM is not in stock and avaibale after ten days. We could not understand that. We have again to again requested that they aggree to issue one SIM and fill the requisit form. Now again 4 days has been expired but still it not convered it.

      We require your support against that relationship agency and Company.

        Dear Sir,


        My unbilled amount showing 7488 Rs and my cradit limit was 2000 rs then how can be it exceed from my limit and airtel make GPRS charge so much although i didn't use so much .

        I did complain of SMS issue on 21 July . Request id was[protected] and without intimate and solution airtel did close this Request .Still issue not resolved .

        I have taken corporate plan and such kind of service and issue should not be consider as we also work in service provider company.

        My outgoing is not working then why my Unbilled amount increasing per day i did stopped all service from customer and when outgoing is not going then how my bill is increasing per day.

          I am airtel prepaid customer. My number is [protected].


          I recharged with GPRS Internet pack of Rs.98 on 05 July 2011.From 27 July 2011 I am not able to connect to gprs internet connection. Whenever I am trying to connect it responding data connection lost error.



          I called @198 complaint helpline number of airtel. I told the customer support person Mr. Babulal about my problem then he responded me aggressively that I should call on some gprs number not on this number. I asked him that I want to submit a complaint regarding this concern, that's why I called at this 198 number. He replied in rude manner and when I asked about another number then he gave me 12118 for gprs helpline. Ref. No. : CMOBI[protected]. This is very shameful that how you people are treating your customers.



          In this way your customer care person is taking care of airtel consumers. We are paying in advance for your services and you people treating us in that rude manner instead of solving issue.



          I already faced data connection lost in previous month also, then you people settled it with giving back 15 days amount Rs. 45 to me.

          Now I am facing same problem again.



          I am fed up with this type of service given by airtel.



          Should I move to some other service provider.

          AirTel — GPRS/ Internet

          i activate Airtel Mobile office and then validity of my card over so they disconnect all the services including gprs.
          as all services dsconected i was unable to sen sms to de activate Mobile office so they deduct Rs 15 for next day without providing inetrnet service to me.

          Very Poor Service For Last 3 Days. Can u Belive Downloading Speed of 3Mb/hour. Poor People Poor Company.
          i am chandrajit dutta from burdwan.my problem is that i am working with gprs for past 1 month and the speed was 460kbps but today (20/5/2009) suddenly after opening the sim and connecting the sim with another modem my connection speed have been slow and it is 115kbps.so please suggest me what shall i do or how can the speed increase.
          I have activated daily gprs plan of Rs 25 daily. It works well in cell but when i connect it to pc, it shows that it is connected but no site opens.help.

            myself pradeep negi. i have purchased a data-card for micromax of airtel company.data-card is ok but internet speed is 20kbps...i am requested to you solved out my complaint as soon as possible..product emei no..[protected]..no. of fcts mmx 300g...i am living in faridabad, sector55,house no..525.
            myself pradeep negi.i am purchased a usb modem for micromax of the company airtel.the problem is that the usb modem is not support in window7 properly .through which the internet speed is very-slow is about near 20kbps. i am talked with airtel customer care than he told me your complaint is locked and mail to airtel company.till 29th july, 2011 airtel company in favour no call for me related solved out my problem.i am requested to you solved-out my problem as soon as possilbe.i wanted to back my money.product emei no..[protected] and s/n emcx [protected].

              Hi,

              I called to customer of Airtel DTH and applied for the new connection. They told me that please provide us your credit card number we will debit the money from your credit card and after that we will give the connection immediately.

              As they promised they will give the connection on the same day, they failed to give the connection
              So i asked for refund the money back .They are not able to refund the money even after 20 days.My question is who will pay the interest for me for the 20 days.Why i want to give the money to them for 20+ days.

              Does airtel ready to provide some money for me for 20 days without interest?

              NOTE: Dear friends don't take airtel DTH connection worst service from day-1

                My customer id is [protected]. From last two days I am not able to view any of the channel on my Airtel digital TV due to error code B001. Firstly when i contacted to CC they told me that this problem persist at broadcaster. After 24 hrs still the problem is same. then i checked for cable connections, Power off & on of STB. but still problem is same....
                Today morning i switched on my TV & STB but the system hanged out on loading screen of Airtel Digital TV....& continuous error display on the screen & not able to change the channels too. So i called CC & lodged the complaint about the issue. I am yet to receive complaint number from Airtel. Service center is not responding the calls. please anyone tell me why should one believe Airtel for their good customer support when they are not taking the customers problems seriously. How could they satisfy their customer with this kind of service..?????

                Thank for your needful response. But actually the contact details provided by CC about Airtel Service center who has to be assist me to resolve this problem, was not anymore with Airtel Service. New Service dealer not known to CC not even their contact nos.

                Finally after 3 days & continuous followup with CC my problem was got solved.

                As a customer i would like to request you to please keep updating your data base for quick response to customers complaints.

                  sir i m a college student i taken a airtel sim card on my college id because i dont have any other identity proof.when i taken that sim they started my services but after 2 month they bared my servicer that time there was more than 500rs after that i went to airtel service center but i was unable to get any right information they told that your sim is rejected and u cant get your balance and same number again. pls do somthing for me i realy want my balance again and i want to teach a lesson to airtel.pls take reaction this sir.

                    Also provide the address of the dealer who have falsely committed to me and still 1 month has passed and no action has been taken.


                    I have been also trying to reach your Airtel Broadband Manager Mr Raj Shekhar [protected], who is not entertaining the calls. The marketing person who took the amount name is David [protected]


                    Air tel services are disgusting.

                      i am a customer of airtel telrservices.of i really get harashed of it because of it's totally non responsible service.it alues dedut spme amount from my account on the name of vlue added service. but i am not interested in any type of vas so i never used to activate .i don't know why they activate service with there interest and deducted money with a thanku note .today[protected] also they activate on of such service and deduted 3 rupess.it's become there routine.even i m not able to talk to customer service.sir please these types of things are harashing consumers.

                        My name is dharmesh k.p.Nair, and am a regular user of airtel broadband past 1 year, When i take the connection i have asked the agent for a 4mbps connection with out any speed limitation,At that time airtel announced one offer for customers inside the 1 km range of airtel exchange for 899 rs per month.The agent talked with his superior and contacted the exchange and confirmed that we are eligible for the 4 mbps unlimited connection,and approved it. Last 1 year we didnt face any issue regarding this connection, but from[protected] my connection speed is limited to 256 kpbs, i have register complaint several times on airtel customer care, but always am getting negetive feedback from their side, they told me that according to their database our plan is 899, 6gb limited plan, so i have explain them everything regarding my connection. but still i didnt got any kind of help from their side, every time when i call they are asking 12 or 24 hrs time to solve the complaint, and one or two times i got 4 mbps connection and after a few hours again it going back to 256 kpbs. i called to customer care today morning too, that agent told me that he cant help me and ask me to contact to this e mail id with all information, as i said am a regular user and at least i will be downloading 20 to 30 gb per day, and my business is related to internet,so fast connection is must for me. last two weeks am not able to send even a 100 mb file to my client and not able to download more than 20 gb, So my business is totally collapsed.so i request you to kindly solve this issue asap

                          Hi sir. I am Dr.Milap.Somaiya . Acually sir i purchased airtel hd connection online on 23/07/2011 and then i recieved a call from their call center and he send and executive to my office to collect the money for it Rs.2790 within half an hour which i paid and i was promised that he will fix the connection on 24/07/2011 between 10 to 12p.m. Then after collecting the cash i received a call to confirm the payment and again he promised it will be installed within 36 hours. but now its been four days and i have been calling various departments of them but no body is answering and they keep promising that tomorrow we will surely install. on tuesday that is 26/07/2011 their executive told me that they have still not booked my order... now its been four days and again they are promising one more day.. i think these companies keep promising their customers and dont keep them.. pl take some actions against them so other customers dont suffer .. my no is [protected] and they gave me an id [protected].

                            This is to inform the concerned people that while I was in Russia,I wasnt allowed to call from my Airtel prepaid connection.

                            Before I went to Russia I activated International roaming Service of Airtel.I was told that I would be able to call from my Prepaid Connection.But when I landed in Russia I found out that I wasnt able to call.No outgoing calls were allowed.Only incoming call came in.Besides I was charged with Rs 150 per minute of Incoming call which is more than the Airtel people told me before I went to Russia.

                            When I came back and contacted them,they were not able to give any satisfactory answer and even dropped my calls before answering me.

                            Once one is out of the country,one needs to contact his/her realtives to let them know how one is and may need urgent assitance or help.I wasnt able to do that due to this unwarranted and mean act of Airtel.

                            I would like to get proper solution and punishment for this mean,improper and uncalled behaviour and service of Airtel which led harrasment and tension to me as well as my family.

                              I am a user of Airtel , when i am trying to call to any where then i am getting no network in my room.

                              As my number is of chennai and i am want to use in delhi. Then i consult with one of my friend for airtel network then he told me don't use airtel sim, use Vodafone or Reliance sim because they are giving full network here.Then i shocked to hear this.

                              AirTel — NETWORK PROBLEMS

                              I COMPLAIN SO MAY TIMES TO CUSTOMER SERVICE FOR

                              airtel network — networkproblem

                              i'm having a problem with airtel's network.i was complaining since 1 year.ur response for my complaint was poor.we some times have 0 signal here in vivekanandanagar, kukatpally. please solve this network problem as early as possible.my contact number is [protected].
                              I have been having innumerble instances with Airtel Network:

                              1) Calls get dropped quite often though both parties "confirm" good network signal.

                              2) Either party is not able to hear the other though both parties "confirm" good network signal.

                              3) A single call that usually can be completed in say "1 minute" now most of the times take 5 to 6 calls, all because of this frustrating Airtel Network issues which keeps dropping calls midway. This in effect has a negative side to it, as we end up being charged for the 5 - 6 calls instead of 1 call.

                              4) Static on calls - instances have been quite frequent.

                              5) Most of the Airtel Customer Service Agents (121) though polite, are not aware of issues, and also are not adequately trained to address issues.

                              6) The common "excuse" that is provided on a call to Airtel Customer Service Agents 121 is that their Applications are down.

                              7) It is very hard to get a Supervisor or a Manager on line to speak to. The common excuse that is provided is that they are not available in that shift?

                              8) When I make a call to any number, somtimes I keep hearing a Ring Tone and the call never gets picked up, but the other party reports picking up the call but unable to hear anything on the other side, and we invariably end up getting billed for these calls too.

                              9) There are many instances of cross connections midway during a call, and we have to end up disconnecting the call and make another call again.

                              10) There is no Support Number that we as a Customer can call to have these "Network Issues" addressed. There should be a number for Customers to call the Network/Technical Team.

                              11) The list goes on & on, and the only relief (if we can call it that), is that if we as a Customer are aware of our rights and dispute these "invalid" changes, Airtel ends up "providing" discounts and free talk time. But the point is, we ask & subscribe for a Service, expecting good Service as well as Good Customer Satisfaction, but all we get is a run around time and time again.

                              12) The excuse they have given me many a time is that my Mobile must be fauly and suggested I try the connection with a new one, though I did tell the Agents that the issue is not with the Hand Set, but with Airtel Network, as has been proved time and time aagain by various other Customers who are with AirTel. I did change my Handset to a new model, and I am still facing the same issue, I even changed my Number and then my SIM, but to no effect.

                              13) Airtel understands that they have a Network Issue (what they call a Global issue), and it has been 5 or so months now, and the issue still remains. How long we as Customers can "bear/tolerate" this kind oa pathetic service.

                              14) Airtel also has an issue os Activating certain sercices without Authorization, and sending an SMS stating that I will be chanrged so & so amount for the Serivce. I invariable end up calling 121 and disputing these.

I cannot talk on my cell even for atleast a minute, it has to disconnect several times till the time i complete my chat. Being near big bazaar this is the problem so wat about others...I too have a relationship centre of airtel infront of my house but no proper response is given by them as well...

                              I am staying in Shastri Nagar in Pune.I and my husband both are facing severe mobile network problem at our home.We both are using Airtel.
                              We are facing this issue from last 3 months and raised complaints in the Airtel 2 and half months back.
                              But every time we call Airtel Customer care they say that we are transfeering your issue to the Network team.
                              Finally we talked to their escalation officers as well.From the time we made the complaint till today we get the response that the problem will be resolved in 15 days.But till now its not been resolved.
                              We are totally frustated as we are unable to make any calls from our mobiles.Everyday we are making atleast 3-4 calls to their customer care and they respond properly.

                              I am a user of Airtel, when i am trying to call to any where then i am getting no network in my room.

                              As my number is of Delhi ncr (dayal nagar, faridabad) Delhi. Then i consult with one of my friend for airtel network then he told me don't use airtel sim, use Vodafone or Reliance sim because they are giving full network here.Then i shocked to hear this.

                              Can any body solve my problem for network .

                                I was unfortunate to have chosen Airtel Digital TV as my DTH service provider therefore I accept my mistake of not going for a more reliable and respectful-towards-its-customers provider. Having done so I still did not except this kind of shoddy service from a reputed (allegedly) firm like Airtel that it has now come to seem as a punishment.

                                I bought the 2 month subscription for Rs 1590/- offer which included a cash back of Rs 250/- as advertised on your website. The offer seemed attractive and I trusted the brand Airtel, since Airtel is my broadband provider as well, but the trust imposed turned out to be fatal I guess because ever since this ill-fated decision I have nothing but being victimised by the poor standards of customer service of Airtel Digital TV.

                                My connection (Account ID:[protected] has a "No Signal" problem with error code B001 since 13th July 2011 and I immediately logged a complaint when I saw it and then began my ordeal which is yet to end, please read the description:

                                1. First thing, NO ONE ever speaks in English despite choosing it as my medium of communication at the very outset of the call. Pathetic would be my verdict - considering we live in the global age of 21st century.
                                P.S. Please remove the option of choosing English as the language to save the disappointment caused to customers (but only if you cared about people who paid for your salaries)

                                2. At first, at the time of registering the complaint (around 13th Jul 2011), your executive tells me that this problem might be because of bad weather and since it was raining at the time I bought his argument and was prepared to wait till the rains cleared up. A complaint was lodged nevertheless SR no. 9982118

                                3. Your engineer (with all due respect to that word) calls me up the next day and upon learning about my address tells me blank on my face that he can't take this complaint up because "the place where he lives is far off from my address". Since it was an Airtel Digital engineer and a city as huge as Pune, I assumed it would take him at least 2 days to reach my home as you guys must be used to travelling on bullock-carts because i[censored] noticed the progress technology has made I would not even be having to write this mail, he sounded freakishly reasonable. Any ways I thought its now my responsibility to find an Airtel Digital technician who wouldn't hate the landscape of my locality enough to resolve my complaint

                                4. The next day on 16th Jul, Airtel Digital thought of simply surprising me, A horrible surprise. I get an sms stating that my complaint has been resolved, I run back home in anticipation but then I got the surprise that Airtel Digital TV had planned, no TV!!! You guys are humorous but the only people not smiling were me and my roomies, but alas who cares!

                                5. Then started the vicious cycle of calling up the customer care --> people giving assurances of timely resolution --> I raising escalations on the same calls --> people hanging up on a paying customer --> I calling again asking to speak to managers (in case you hired some) --> customer care executives putting me on infinite holds and finally hanging up --> and here we are

                                Now lets hop over to the future:

                                1. I decided to buy the Neo Sports package and my account balance went negative. When I call up and enquire I am told that the promised cash back of Rs 250 has not happened. Can I ask why? I stall on recharging my account because I know whatever Airtel are they are not thieves and I would eventually get my money back, but alas! Frustrated, I recharge my account with Rs 100 in the hope that I would finally get to watch some TV but could I ever be right with Airtel Digital - a resounding NO. Trust me - this Rs 250 was not given to you for charitable purposes and I DO WANT MY CASH BACK AS PROMISED

                                2. There's a joke on your website that goes like: "Procedure and benchmarks for redressal of complaints through the Call Centre - Benchmarks: At least ninety per cent of complaints concerning non-receipt of all signals by the Customer save and except due to disturbances of weather or natural calamities, will be redressed and we will restore the signals within a period of twenty-four hours of the receipt of complaint." I know I am not lucky enough to be considered amongst the first 90% but I DO WANT MY CONNECTION BACK ASAP

                                3. Since my connection was activated on 20th June 2011 and under the proposed scheme I am supposed to get 2 months' free subscription along with Rs 250 as cash back. I WANT ALL THESE TERMS HONOURED

                                4. But if the people responsible at Airtel Digital TV are casual enough to ignore this mail and this complaint, we would have not choice but to approach the National Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission (NCDRC)

                                Airtel DTH — 15% CASH BACK not honoured

                                I had taken a Airtel DTH Services using Online Service on 15th Mar'10 & got the same activated by 17th Mar'10. During the online booking of service, there was an of 15% CASH BACK for existing airtel customers (Mobile or Landline) and since I was one of them I happen to avail and for that - I happen to follow the necessary steps for availing the CASH Back - It almost more then a month now that but I still have not recieved 15% CASH Back - moreover when I do call their customer executives - they are unable to help me on the same..
                                I would appreciate if necessary help could be provided to me with necessary compensatation...

                                  As i am using my prepaid mobile number for more than 5years, now i am not satisfied with the prepaid plans which the Airtel is providing now and more over third time i have requested for the portal changing, but still Airtel make me to stick with the same networks by Providing an offers or etc,

                                  Last time on 2 June, while i have applied for portal no. they said there is no more offer with them to provide me and more over, i had accepted the same and replied back like i will use my earlier Boosters which i had utilized for 1 yrs and also i had recharged on the same day itself for Rs225. but the next day with out an intimation to me they had changed my plans again to MNC plan, that i came to know after 1 and a half months, they had hided the 225.RS from me.

                                  Today after a compliant raised from my end they have return back 200Rs/-.But i was not happy with the same plan.

                                  Now i had planned to move to Airtel Postpaid But they are routing me to go far apart 200 Kms to change this to post paid. Since there is no Airtel show room in chengalpattu or kancheepuram (DT). but currently im leaving in kancheepuram (DT). my sim card belongs to south tamil nadu which was bought in Chengalpattu only,

                                  So i need to spend a single day and 400Rs/- to do the changes as they are saying.

                                  My problem is nothing but the entire kanchipuram DT doesnt contains an Airtel show room as they said on the call. Kindly help us by providing a good solution to get the problem fixed and what are all the steps we can take with the airtel since the customer focus is total deviated even though we are paying alot of money and they are becoming money minded.

                                    I had Airtel digital DTH connection from September 2010. Really i made mistake because cant abe to add package through web site and through customer service always reply same, call after 30 minutes because server down. Past 10 days i cant hear voice in my hd setup box. I made complaints several times. same reply today ur problem got resolved. But NOTHING happening. Please dont get connection from Airtel Digital DTH. I[censored] call customer service if they cant able to answer they disconnect your call silently. If they retain same support like that i am sure in future Airtel Digital TV will not be live and successfull. Please change the attitude and give good support to customer.

                                      I am using Airtel router for past 2 years, and of a sudden my ISP(Airtel) has blocked all the ports and they are not even accepting that they have blocked the ports from their side, and when i raised a complaint previous time they started to speak lies that all ports are opened and then on next day they did opened all the ports for a week and then they again blocked all the ports. I want a permanent fix for this issue.
