We got our Airtel IPTV connection on 17th June with the 1099 plan. On the very same day, when connection was activated, we had raised request to activate ESPN topup pack (consisting ESPN, Star Sports and Star Cricket). We were told that this will be activated within 4 days, but even when we waited for a week, this was not done. Now its almost 1.5 months, still no resolution!
We then followed up with number of phone calls to customer care, sometimes 5-6 calls a day. The problem with their customer care was, everytime they would put us on hold and then somehow the call would be disconnected. We would call them daily. Most times they would end up raising new customer requests. It's been more than a month now, but still the top up pack is not activated. Sometimes we were even promissed that it will be activated within 4 hours! A lot of false promises have been done. It's nearly a kind of mental harrasement to the customer. To an extent that they even barred our phone number in such a way that we would not be able to talk to customer care personal! We then sent email to [protected]@airtel.in.. there too number of requests were raised, and not resolved.
Their systems were being updated from 9th to 19th july, and after that it seems they erased all the old requests, so they are now raising new requests, but again, no use.
It don't understand, in just activating a small topup why would they make the customers go through such an ordeal!

It's been 9 days since you registered our complaint. Still it hasn't been resolved. We have already requested for cancellation on 198. They ask us to reconsider the decision, but unless the issues are solved within short time span, I'm not ready to reconsider this.
