I have taken an postpadi airtel connection , CUG-199 bill plan in which I can make 600 mins of local mobile calls to any mobile (Airtel to Airtel or Airtel to Others) at free of cost. After 600 mins, I will be charged at the tarifff they decided. I have received a bill last month. When I checked the bill, the total duration of calls made to mobile phones did not exceed 10 hrs (infact it is 8 hrs 30 mins approximately). I am supposed to get this as discount in my bill (168.8 Rs which they charged ), but they have given 129.40. When I called the customer care, they told me that they give the discount only for the Airtel to Airtel calls which amounts to 135.20. I then Questioned them even if that is the case I should get 135.20 Rs as the discount, but why I was given only 129.40 Rs. The rep told me that he will transfer the call to his supervisor. But he disconnected the call. It happened several times. I am fedup with the airtel and planning to switch to other service provider. I have several connections with airtel and I am not given the discounts they promised. I am ending up paying more bills which I did not want to.

    Myself Biplab Goswami i have a a airtel prepaid connection [protected].For the last few weeks i am facing tremendous network problem in my area .There is either no network or my phone takes the roaming .It can not be excused as a far area or anything as the services were good till few weeks back .but now its horrible Airtel is said to be the best mobile service provider .its sales figures are rising because the customers are satisfied .So in a era where there is tremendous competition and number portability is there airtel is decreasing its services.
    I am expecting a response from the company asap.

    no network coverage in my home town.I had submitted the required

    its more than 1 months now i hav been complaining airtel customer care that there is no network coverage.i m user of airtel since last two years.and have blind trust on airtel.but now i m very much dissappointed.and i hav now totally lost it.every time i made call to customer care they just provide me with new dates and even dont feel regret for the same.i hav called customer care about 6 times few of the complaint numbers are as follows:[protected],[protected],[protected].the no. of mine is [protected].and soon i m going to change it with other services if the same problem is not dealt seriously as it is matter of life and death as i hav this no. only and i hav to keep in touch regularly with my doctor.this is not expected with u AIRTEL.
    I moved to my new house in Sept. 04. I have never ever recieved a proper network coverage of AIRTEL on the ground floor of my house.

    I made several complaints to this effect on their helpline 121 & the erstwhile helpline [protected]. Airtel Mobile has never bothered to respond =vely. They just take a complaint & do nothing about it. They have put signal boosters in our neighbours house as their billing was huge so they did not wish to loose the big billing !

    Maybe this post will help resolve the issue. Or else I am oving to Vodafone the day the number portability becomes a reality.

MY PROBLEM STILL PERSISTS AND NO ONE IS BOTHERED TO RECTIFY THE PROBLEM. MY FIRST COMPLAINT REFERENCE NUMBER IS 16106169 DATED 31ST MARCH 2008. MY SECOND COMPLAINT NUMBER IS 16593914 DATED 6.5.08. THEY SENT AN SMS SAYING THEY WILL GET BACK TO ME ON MAY 9TH, WHICH THEY DIDN'T. THIS IS AFFECTING MY BUSINESS IN A BIG WAY. I CANNOT CHANGE MY NUMBER NOW AS THE SAME IS WITH ALL MY CLIENTS.     Since from last 11 month i complaining for zero network coverage, but no action action as been taken,
    So i approched to cancel my card (which i taken in Nashik, but currently i am in Mumbai), there asking to cancel from maharasthra circle office, which is near kalyan(far away from my place, where i residing), and nothing to do with mumbai circle.Since within state there operating in different circle, which is very painful, even when i contacting to customer care.

    i am residing in kandevali east mumbai and airtel doesnt have coverage here, when i spoke to customer care they told me they will rectify this problem, but that was all fake its been more than two months my cell doesnt catch the signal in kandevali area and the customer care is so rude anf frustrating that they disconnect my call whenever they want to.

    i request all the cell users to not to use airtel in mumbai as they always have this network problem and it seems they are not bothered about it.

    Im Using Airtel PostPaid & Staying in Bangalore - Marathali. Im facing Network issue with AirTel & there is no Proper Response from them inspite of raising many Issues. Once I get inside my Home there will be no Network & Due to this , Always i need to come on to Road to Make Calls / to recieve Calls.
    Due to Network Issue, my Bill got increased like anything due to which i made calls by going out of Home inspite of getting Calls. I need Minimum of 50% Bill waver from them.

    this is to state that i am deeply suffering from the connections problem of the airtel no. Everytime when i got a call, i cannot attend it inside my home because of the network problem. everytime i have to get out of my home to attend the call and same for doing the call. this is happening since i have got this connection in january 2009. i have lodged several complaints to the costumer care centre also, but no satisfactory response came to me so far. i had thought of replacing my home connection and broadband connection to airtel (as i have heard about them), but now not in my single thought i think about them. they talk about their connection in rivers, mountains etc, but the reality is even i am not getting it on land. my airtel no is [protected]. and i am talking about the area sec-7, rohini, delhi-85

    Seems AirTel is Following a common Message saying " Issue is Resolved" even though the issue is not Addressed. This is not the Corporate way to deal with Customer.
    Please Disconnect my AirTel connection & I've decided to not Pay the Bill which is very High due to your Network Problem. Almost I've interacted with your AirTel Customer Care support Engineers for Minimum of 10 Hours & this Lead to Severe HeadAch where in i've spent RS 1500 Thousand for Consulting Doctor & RS 5 Thousand for Viral Infection due to mostly Talking OutSide of my Home where in there is a Drinage.
    Im Ready to Pay the Bill only When I get Bill Waver of 50 Percent inculding my Last Two Months Bill or Pay me back the Doctor Consultency Fees & I will close the Pending Bill amount of AirTel.

    My mobile no. is [protected]. On January 29, 2011, at about 6 o'clock in the evening, I visited the tata docomo website and registered for details regarding MNP on their website. I got a message saying that their customer service agent will contact shortly. It was working fine until then but there has been no signal on my phone since that time while other airtel mobiles are getting clear signal inside my house. I cant make any calls and when my number is called from another phone, it says mobile is switched though the handset is on. I suspect Airtel is deliberately blocking me from moving to another provider. Pls help me on this issue.

    Airtel Mobile Service — No Coverage

    I am facing covergae issues with my airtel mobile connection, this issue has been present from the past 3 years, though we raised a complaint 2 years ago, the issue was not resolved because of which we have ported our connections to other service providers.

    I have recently moved back to airtel, but the same problem still exists. I have raised complaints but the issue has not been resolved.

      Every time Airtel is creating a new reference number but not taking any action.

      I have closed my old connection[protected] on December 2010 with all pending payments But still I am receiving bills for that. Reference mail is given below. Today I got a call from customer care again for the same connection and executive used very rude and abusive language and warn me for legal action. If this is the case then I can also put this issue in consumer forum for the harassment of the customer.


      This is to bring to your notice that as an Airtel customer I am highly dissatisfied with the working of customer care. I am using Airtel broadband connection and it was not working since last 12 days. Even after repeated calls to the customer care the problem is still unresolved. I talked to the customer care executive, supervisor and senior supervisor. All of them assured that the problem will get resolved but it’s not resolved yet. After multiple follow ups also no one came to attend the problem. This is really very frustrating and to add to this I have been kept on hold for 40-50 minutes daily every time I called.

      I have been user of Airtel since 9 years and the experience I had recently is the worse. This issue got resolved yesterday but this was the worst service I ever got. I had to make approx 14 calls to customer care for this issue.

          I am having Airtel Postpaid mobile connection since 5+ years.

          I am facing two problems with Airtel.

          1. Poor Signal at my residence ( AECS layout, Kundanahalli, Bangalore ) Most of the time the signal is lost. I have complained about the same to service providers many times. Still no corrective action taken.

          2. I am getting unwanted promotional SMS. Though i have registered in Fully Blocked DND

            I, Ayush Ruia, had bought an airtel 3G data connection from Sangeetha Stores on the evening of 8.07.2011. This connection was purchased on the promise of a 3G connection, and not for harassment in its place. The Airtel salesperson at the premises was a person named Yashwant (Ph. No. [protected]). He promised me that the postpaid connection would be activated by 10 am the next morning. This same word was also given to me by his supervisor, Neelakandan (Ph no. [protected]) over the phone during the interaction.
            The next day, I was informed at 10am in the morning by a third person named Prabhakar (Ph. No. [protected]) that the sim card given to me was a prepaid one instead of postpaid. He promised that he would attend to my need within half an hour. As expected no one came and on contacting any one of the three persons, they would give me another half hour to hang on to. This was the case till 12:30 after which no one picked up my call. I was kept at my home, from going away for house hunting, in wait ofr the Airtel connection to arrive. At 4pm in the evening when I was finally fed up of the wait and went to the store to return it, that all three of them literally begged me to take the connection as they had activated it.
            Taking pity on them I took the connection back, which proved to be my biggest fault. The data card on plugging in, gave only 2G speed. On inquiring further, I came to know that the card had not been activated fully. All the three people did not respond at all to my complaints. The Airtel customer care also proved to be highly inefficient. Every customer care executive would tell me that it was not the right department and that they could not help me. They would redirect me every time to another number, which would again be useless and moreover, it would not be toll free. I have registered many complaints which are provided below:

            I finally got fed up of the trouble and now regret choosing Airtel at the first point. All these customer care personnel would refuse to take in my request for deactivation of service.                 I applied for airtel broadband connection.Reference number is[protected]. A person came and collected documents and cheque from me. His name is Ravi and his number is [protected]. At that time, I asked for receipt of the money but he said it will be mailed to you in couple of days and when I insisted on providing some receipt, he said that this is general process airtel follow.

                Then after few days I received the call that there is no feasibility in my area and they asked to call airtel customer care for refund. I called the customer care but they are asking for application number which I don't have, as no document was provided to me at the time when I handed over the cheque and other documents. I had tried calling Ravi but he never picks the phone. I had raised the complaint (complaint number[protected] but no action taken.

                I hope this forum will help me in getting the refund.

                  I lost my cell phone and called Airtel customer service 121. After blocking outgoing calls, they asked me to visit the nearest Airtel Relationship Center. The nearest to me is :-
                  1) Zion Associates
                  D.No. 12-6-36/3, Shop No 2&3, Opp Kukatpally Bus Stop, Moosapet, Hyderabad 500072Hyderabad

                  I went there. There were 3 guys on the counters (no uniform) and a crowd of around 30/40 people. Absolute chaos. After waiting for an hour for my turn they promptly told me "No stock of SIMs , so please go to next nearest Ameereth Releationship Center.

                  2) Zion Associates(Ameerpet)
                  D no 71616 Above Imroze Café Ameerpet X Roads 500016Hyderabad
                  The situation here was worse. But luckily after 30 mins the guy on the counter told me that they cater ONLY to pre-paid SIMS ,and since mine is post-paid, I have to go to another Relationship Center @ begumpet.

                  3) Startel
                  No1, White House, 6-3-1192/1/1, Kundan Bagh, Begumpet, Hyderabad 500016Hyderabad

                  Here too I waited for 1 hour before someone heard me. Strangely the guys wore uniform. I filled the form and got the duplicate SIM. I was told that it will be activated in 4 hours.

                  Now it is more than 2 days and it is still inactive. Called 121 and got a ticket number 38652388, but no solution. Sent mail but no response.
                  Shame on you Airtel...You are worse than any Indian Government office..Why do you keep these useless relationship centers? Why is my number not active? I am not going to give up, I pay my bills on time and you better get your act together......

                    I am Hemant Nawale an Airtel loyal customer my mobile . I am using this cell number for more than 6 years. I never defaulted on my billing payments and also not delayed payment even for a single time.

                    I converted my billing plan from INR 249.00 to INR 199.00 in around May 15,2011 as per Airtel requirement to support “Add On” service. I also subscribed/applied for one more (add on) number i.e. [protected] on the same day at Borivali Airtel Gallery. I was informed that the inter - calling between these 2 numbers would be free as per “Add On” service.

                    However, I have been charge for inter –calling between these two numbers from the 1st day of its activation. After that I visited Airtel Gallery 3 times also filed a complaint on your Customer care # [protected], My Complaint # 38087015 on 21st June 2011.

                    Thereafter, I got several calls from Airtel Customer Care and I explain my complaint/billing issue with many guys (every time I talked with new person and explained my query to everyone). No one has solved my query, none has gave me resolution. I am very upset and have frustrated with Airtel now.

                    For final resolution/settlement, Today I called Airtel Customer Care # [protected] to ask for final settlement amount and how to disconnect my these two cell numbers and in reply I got the below answer.

                    “Your mobile number will not get disconnected until you pay the bill fully and even if you cross the Credit Limit, Airtel will keep charging you for rentel ampunt i.e. 199.00 per month + service tax.

                    I am very fade up with all these follow up I am making to settle my bill amount. Finally I am drafting this email to you guys (I got your email IDs from Borivali Airtel Gallery) and if these is not answer within a week, I am planning to go in Consumer Court to claim compensation from Airtel for wasting my time, energy and for mental harassment I had in last more than two months.

                    Airtel Customer Service is sickening. Its abosolutely unfair practice and harrassment when they say that they will keep billing the account and wont disconnect the line.. this is absurd. They should come up with the decent solution on this. Their customer service associates should raise their standards.

                          We had taken up an Airtel broadband connection few months back in the name of my wife, Suneesha.

                          Landline Number:[protected]

                          For the billing cycle of month June 2011, we did not receive any bills .. neither online, nor a hard copy.

                          Looking at the last months due date, I decided to make an online payment on 1st July 2011. Surprisingly, my login ID and password did not work. And, the option to retrieve passwords did not work as well.

                          Then, I decided to make a payment without using the online account, through quick pay on Airtel website.
                          This time a confirmation code was getting sent to an unknown number which I had never provided.

                          Then I got an email (on aneesh.[protected]@gmail.com) from Airtel that their servers are down for maintenance between 9th July 2011 to 19th July 2011.

                          Unable, to retrieve this code, I decided to make a payment at the relationship centres near my residence. According to Airtel website, one is in Chakala, near Bisleri (Andheri East), other one is in Lokhandwala (Andheri West). On visiting both the addresses I found that there is NO Airtel relationship centre at either locations.

                          Whenever, I call up Airtel Customer Care centre, I am hung up, and never responded to.

                          I got another mail saying servers down till 21st July 2011.

                          One day Airtel Customer care called up and said please make your payment of INR 660. And, when we said that "we never received a bill". They asked for our e-mail address and hung up.

                          1. I still don't have the bill for this cycle.
                          2. I still don't have my online account password. Which I need to make payments because I can not wander all the time to locate which of your relationship centres are still operational. Take some pain updateing on the website.
                          3. I can't understand that who linked that unknown number to my account. Please get this changed.
                          4. So, if a bill shows up next month with a delayed payment penalty, I will not be paying the extra amount.
                          5. If, you want your customers to pay for your service, provide them with hassle free methods.

                            Bharti Airtel — Innocent Victim

                            Dear Sir / Ma'am,

                            This is a complaint on behalf of my Father Sri Joginder Singh who is over 65 years old.
                            He was continously bombarded with messages on his cell no [protected] for Airtel Tunes. Out of curiousity he wanted to check out the offer and here starts the story...
                            He was charged with Rs 30 for the mistake which is fine as this was his mistake.
                            However he was subsequently charged Rs 30 for November and another Rs30 for the month of December.
                            I called the Airtel Customer Care number several times in the evening today but could not get in touch with the Customer care executive (there is no option to choose where you can talk to a representative) Finally i tried all possible nos 121, 123, [protected] and managed to talk to the Care representative who obviously was "unable" to help me. I spoke to his Supervisor Jaideep who claimed that the call center was infact that of Bharti itself and not an outsourced call center.
                            I begged that I speak to the Manager and after placing me on HOLD for a few minutes, i was told that the Manager by the name Abdul is very busy to talk to me and would call me back in an hour. It is past that hour as i write this email and I am sure that call would never come.

                            I am really not sure if the company would take my complaint seriously after all I am just another complainant...but I would still like to try before i give up - hence this email

                            I am Tonoy Tarafdar from Andhrahalli, Bangalore-560091. I have purchased one Airtel sim card for my friend Miss. Neha Prajapati under her name as well (MOB NO-[protected]) from Gandhinagar Airtel customer care office, bangalore, under the concern of Miss. Usha at the end of November, 2009, and i have submitted all such necessary documents as per to her information. However,her outgoing got barred because of not receiving the documents. I have resubmit the documents again on 8th December and 18th December, 2009 to the same outlet. Her number got activated after that, but we confronted the same problem again after a week which made me to speak to their supervisor Mr. Manohar over the phone. He has assured me with the resolve of issue. And he has done the needfull as well. However, today 2.1.2010 afternoon we confronted again with the same issue in terms of barring of incoming calls because of the same cause. We really got embarrassed with the connection, their service and with their commitment again and again in different intervals. I urge to resolve the issue and to pay them a severe penalty because of their mis- commitment and service.

                            Airtel — No knowledge of Airtel Employees regarding Company Policies, Giving Fake informations

                            I need to Put a complaint regarding Airtel. My complaint is: I had made security deposit of Rs.5000/- on 28 Nov.' 2009 for activating international roaming for my mobile no. ([protected]). About getting this deposit back, I was told by one of the team member that whenever I will close this facility, I will get back my deposit amount. On 10th Dec,2010 I called airtel office and asked for closing my services and refund me the security amount. Then they told me that it will be reimbursed after 45 days.After that I called Airtel on 23rd or 24th Dec. But they told me that request for refund is not registered. Then I asked them to do the same. Again I called on 23rd January,2010 and asked for the refund status, then also they told me that refund request is not yet made. Then I requested them to put the req. again. Then on 1st March, 2010, I called on 198 Cust. care of Airtel, and got the answer that Your refund cheque of Amount Rs.2984/- is being despatched on 14th Feb.2010.
                            - Airtel team is telling me that January '2010 month bill amount is deducted from your security deposit on 8th Feb.2010.Who has permitted this to Airtel?
                            -I have not got any information regarding the same.
                            - Who has authorized Airtel to deduct Jan'2010 bill amount on 8th Feb. while the last date of bill payment mentioned on the bill is 11th February?
                            - I have also made Rs.2000/- cash payment on 11th of Feb.2010. So for the same January'2010 month bill they have received the payment twice.
                            - Employees are not clear about the policies!!!
                            Regarding the same I have performed many calls from my cell phone and wasted my time without any result. It has caused only harrasment to me.
                            Further to this, I am facing network problem at my residense and for the same I have requested to Airtel team through mail and phone even more than 200 times (verymuch true figure) but there is no positive response. I am following for this network problem since 21st March' 2009 but there is no remedy for me.
                            --- I am getting the calls from Airtel team every month that this time your usage(Bill amount) is very low? Can we ask the reason for the same?
                            I have called and mailed even more than 200 times and wasted my time.

                            I too am a victim of missed calls racket from mobile number[protected].But i went a step higher and dialled the concerned party.To my surprise, i was given another ISD No [protected] and was told that i have won a lottery worth 10 lakhs from an agency promoted for lucky numbers.I was told to contact Mr malhotra of national bank and verify the cheque with 042 series.Since the call lasted 1.45 min, i was duped with Rs 48 for iSD call.I wish to inform Airtel and concerned that this is a big fraud racket where these agents are getting commission from using satellite ISD providers and should be blocked.Please ignore and sensitise ur neighbouhood/friends etc.

                            Hi, I received a missed call from No. +92-[protected] It seems that there is something fishy about all these calls that we are receiving. Either it is being done by the Service Providers themselves to increase the billing of the customers who re-dial out of curiosity to know about the caller or there is some data bank leakage. Kindly look into the matter on priority. It can be some internal sabotage also by the employees of the service providers.

I have heard that some persons from Pakistan try and connect to numbers in India and if the person from India picks up the phone they get the sim card details and than they use these details and misuse the number. It seems that the list of persons getting missed call is growing day by day. I would request the Airtel to take effective steps to help the customers from being a victim of Fraud.

                            Yes this is a serious problem, I have two phone numbers in one series, I got the call on my first number and then half hour later on the second number. It seems that these pakistan numbers are calling all the phone numbers of airtel by picking up their series. I doubt their intentions and would like to comment to this thread because this is serious issue and Airtel should check is the same number is calling their numbers in series one by one then that may not be an appropriate calls or they have to start maintaining DNC registry country wise. I do not want any call on my cell from Pakistan, I should be able to register this.

                            I entirely agree with the complaint. I too received today a call from a number [protected]. I did realize that the call was ISD (from Pakistan) only after I saw the billing charged according to ISD.

                            I am unable to understand a motive behind this call and how did the caller get my number in first place?

                            There are three serious issues with this type of calls. First, we do not know what the caller from Pakistan is engaged into. I am concerned, sch callers may have fraudulent sim cards, being used in different crimes. Our phone may be traced if anything wrong happens and we will be in unnecessary trouble. Second, it is a breach of privacy and trust by Airtel that it has leaked our number to any agency in Pakistan. Why at all should they do it?? If they have not, why should they be careless in not protecting data with utmost security?
                            Thirdly, the billing part. It seems each small pulse costs around Rs 10.

                            Airtel needs to explain these issues on immediate basis. This is something serious!!

                            From last several day i am receiving some miss call from ISD no. which is [protected]. Today i have called back to this no, and come to know they are saying i have won some 25lk Rs. They saying that they are talking on behalf of Airtel.

                            As i am know that this is scam, so i just hangup the phone.
                            But the worse part is, to know more about this issue, and to inform i called up Airtel Customer care. After trying 30mins i reach to a guy at 9:57PM, named Mr. Harish(as he say). When i stated him my problem, he told me that he cant do anything becoz his system is down and told me he can do nothing. And he dont have any idea on this issue. I ask him to connect with TL, but he refuse to do so. Even he dont told me his TL name. I request him several time to connect me with his TL. But he straightly says, he cant do that.

                            This is our country's one of the leading Mobile service provider response on cyber crime. I wonder if this prank is related with any terrorist activity, then is Airtel will take any responsibility on this matter. I am looking forward for explanation of Airtel.

On searching the country code information i got to know this is orginated from Pakistan. To my best of knoledge i dont have any body who is stationed in Pakistan. I also seen several complaints on similar back ground. When called to AirTel customer care they asked me to ignore the call or i can register a complaint in Local Police Station.

I was not sure and what was it and called the number. it was to my surprise the person Arjun Singh (he told) who picked my call and told that i won Airtel lottery for Rs. 25, 00, 000 and he asked me my Account number, my name and Fathers name to transfer the Won amount.
                            I furter enquired where can i get this all details of the amount i won, then he said this would be announced on GEO Channel, i was surprised to listen the Channel name because this channel is not available in India. I replied him saying that i will call you later.

                            For my surprise I had received a call from [protected] on June 02, 2011 at 8.58 AM on my Airtel number. I was in two minds whether to receive the call or not, anyways I decided not to receive as the call was coming from a Pakistan number.

                            I then searched on the net if any any similar incidents were reported, it was a shocking to know that they were many such complaints lodged on this site and other websites.

                            I strongly feel Airtel should take this as a serious breach and get to the roots.

                                    I have a number [protected] taken from airtel. I have charged the said number with Rs.222/- full talk time on 4th Feb, 2011. But I did not use this number at all. On 14th May, 2011 when I wanted to make a call , I got a msg saying that you have low balance and recharge. I made a local call for approx. 2 mints. Then came the surprising message saying that your balance is 20Ps. When contacted the customer care they blocked my number so that I cannot call them. From May onwards I am contacting airtel Nodal officers and Appelate through email . Everytime they will sent reply saying that they are resolving the issue and thanks for the patience. On 14th May, I charged my cell again. Again they started playing. Some calls will come to the cell and if you take it they are deducting money. I got such a call and attended. when I heard the recorded voice I disconnected. Suddenly I got a msg saying that 'Thanks for registering to Pakru Contest. Rs.15/- is deducted from you. I got completely mad. Already they had taken Rs.222/-. since my number is blocked by the customer CARE I called them through the dealer. And when I contacted for my Rs.222/- they replied to me that they are crediting my Rs.10/- for the pakru contest. After so many correspondence on 5th July, they credited me Rs.100/-

                                    The funny thing is that I am asking them for what you have deducted this amount and there is no answer. Still they did not give me back Rs.122/-. No body knows for what they are harassing the customers in this way.

                                    Everyone be careful with AIRTEL. Check the balance and keep always.

                                      This is in regards to Complaint number[protected] .
                                      I received a bill with an extra amount of--Rs.384 for the month of June, 2011.
                                      I called customer care on 8/07/2011and informed about the issue, they said that this was due to "SPEED ON DEMAND" , but we had never opted for this and hence a complaint was logged on the same date, Complaint number[protected].
                                      They informed that the extra amount will be waved out by 14/07/2011,and someone from the Escalation team would call and inform us the same so tha we could pay the bill for the month. No one bothered to contact till 15/07/2011 ,so i called again on 15/07/2011, they could not find the status of the ticket as the system was down.,they said to call after 2 hours, after 2hours i called back they said to call after 24 hours and the is continued till 22/07/2011.
                                      On 23/07/20011 i finally got transferred to an escalation manager(Nayaz Pasha) and was informed that the case is closed mentioning that the amount 384 cannot be waved out from the bill.
                                      AT THE END OF THE DAY I SPENT EXTRA Rs.400 FOR GETTING THE REFUND OH Rs.384, TO TALK TO THE ESCALATION MANAGER, AS I AM NOT USING AN AIR TEL NUMBER AND STILL THE AMOUNT HAS NOT BEEN WAVED OUT BECAUSE OF AIR TEL IRRESPONSIBILITY .

                                      Yesterday i received a message from AD-54321--stating thanks for downloading Hungama Content Game fro m airtel and i have been charged Rs.10 for this, but i had never subscribed for it, this is the FOURTH or FIFTH time this has happened in last two months and this is ridiculous.I want the refund for all this charges and most important is i don't want to see such unwanted reductions in future.Looking forward for your quick response.

                                        Dear Sir,

                                        I bought the airtel digital tv connection on 23rd July 2011.
                                        The service engineer installed the connection (on 24th July) in the afternoon(1 pm) and assured the connection be activated within an hour. Till now the activation process is not done properly and we are not able to watch anything.

                                        We contacted the dealer and they said that the activation has been already done and provided me with the cusomer id([protected]). We did not receive any SMS mentioning the customer id yet .
                                        We contacted the customer care but they said they cannot do anything and asked us to contact the dealer again.
                                        We are very disappointed about the kind of service been provided.
                                        Please help us get the problem solved at the earliest.
