I am Mohiddin Kamal from Manlgaore, i have been served to Bharti Airtel Telecom for 3 years in diffrent roles.I got re leaved from this esteemed institution in the year 2008 (June) due to better offer from Banking Industry.

Here I am very sad to express that even after my several request i couldn't claim my Provident Fund. Kindly note my Employe Id.28745 & guide me to do the needful.

    This is regarding my Airtel Digital TV Customer ID :[protected], I recieve an error message SM2 since 10th May 2011, I called customer care on 12150, First I was told there is some problem with the Satellite Transmission and will be sorted in max. 48 hrs, then i again called on 13th of May 2011 and was told to perfom some steps which didnt help.


    Then I was told engineer will visit to reinstall the Dish, but nobody showed up. Called again on 15th-May-2011, was told engineer will visit my place by 3pm 16th May. Nobody showed up.

    Today on 17th I called Customer care and was told by the representative that She cannot help as the system is being upgraded and she hung up when I question about my solution. Is this the way your reps speak to a customer, Airtel DTH is not providing any Free services I am paying for that, and this kind of behaviour is unacceptable.
    Me with DISH TV and my friend with Airtel both faced same problem few days ago. Whenever we give power to setup box STB, it starts blinking and only after long time it starts.
    In dish TV we change the following capacitor with ratings 1000uf 10V to new 1000uf 16V or 1000uf 25V (25V capacitor is recommended for permanent solution).
    In airtel STB change the capacitor with ratings 1500uf 10V to new 1500uf 16V or 1500uf 25V (again recommend 25V).
    Both DishTV and Airtel STB has two capacitor with same ratings as I said above. In most cases only one capacitor needed to change. This capacitor attached on STB SMPS circuit board, it is the small board on which STB's power cord attached. You can take this small circuit board to your electrician to change above described capacitor or you can change your self if you can do. The damaged capacitor may look some bulge type, you can easily recognize the damaged capacitor. The capacitor in both STB has approx 1 inch height cylindrical shape, read ratings to recognize easily
    I too have the same problem. consumer ID [protected]. When I called up [protected] and choose the menu option for technical support. I was routed to an advertisement to buy the ten action package west indies vs india. I feel Airtel hasn't paid properly to their IVR designers...or such simple failures should never happen to IVRs of such international brands like Airtel..

    Also, I feel that for such problems which are noticed by Airtel once should be added in Knowledgebase available online so that people/Airtel Techs can fix these faster.

    nevertheless, I called them up again from my mobile and I am assured for a fix within some time.

    NO TICKET CREATED FOR MY CALL!!!

    Still, I am awaiting to get a fix for this and I hope that Airtel will not give me a chance to raise this in consumer forum.

      My airtel dth account number is [protected] i had registered for new channels on 1 april 2011 till date no action has been taken . Evey time i call them they ask me to wait for 3 days and again i call them they ask to wait another 3 days . I never knew that airtel would behave so unprofessionally i also work in a bpo field when we do these types of mistake we are terminated how come they do not it to these customer service executive and till date no action has be done and even if i call them now they just pick up the call and no one answers and after 3 minutes they disconnect the call . What service is this since we are indian these multinational companies take us all customer for a ride and when they want you first time they are ready to fall on your knees to buy their product . I never even dreamed Airtel would be company of this pathetic standard i used to defend you guys but i shall not, Truly a pathetic and terrible experience.

        Respected Sir,

        I am surfing internet,during the surfing i got message that your last call charge is 99 Rs.When I called customer care they told me that you have purchase a game so the charges apply to you.
        But fact i come to know about game when i called customer care.I did not access any service message.Even this service message details also i known when i called customer care..
        This 99 Rs. deducted worngly...I go my log details in my mobile for clarification but there in coming message of airtel is true but after that there is no packet data assess.than how they deducted my valuable money .
        Please DO something for that.

        sir i am surfing internet . i use ur 98 internet pack but when i recharge my no. then my balance deducted. i called costumer care executives many times but they told me to cradit my bal. but there is no resolution till now. total deduction is of rs 40/- plz resolve my problem. my airtel no. is [protected]... i will be thankfull to you.

          Hi,
          I have been using Airtel for the last 3 years and recently applied for MPN, first time my porting got rejected because of outstanding amount. This time my bill amount was Rs. 404 I paid Rs. 950 and applied for MPN again. I got a message from 1901 saying, poring rejected due to outstanding payment.

          I was shocked to see this, I'm stuck with airtel now. Can somebody guide me on how to register a case with consumer court?

            The complaint is very much valid with zero or low network and repeated call drops on Airtel, I have taken a Vodafone backup sim seems to be working fine as compared to airtel. I gradually I will shift to Vodafone with MNP. My airtel account no. is [protected]. Also airtel pays no importance to customer complaint or feedback and keep making false promises of working of new cellsite in the area within 6months. This timeline has completed 12months already without any action.
            Hi,

            I had been an Airtel Customer for more than 7 years, and am dejected and furious at the way they handle their services and customers.
            Airtel is having Zero Network Connectivity in Kharadi are (Near EON IT Park) for more than 1 month .

            I lost count of how many times I raised the complaint .
            losing my patience, i even spoke to Customer Support Managers stating the issue.
            Service requests were raised, promises were made that i will be approached back in 48 hours but not a single Customer Support Call is received till today by me. Now it is more than one month, and still i am experiencing ZERO/NO Airtel Network in my residential area (Gera Emerald City, Kharadi).
            Today, i have ported my Airtel number to Vodafone .
            But, I am not going to leave this matter alone . I will be escalating this to the highest managerial levels possible. Airtel treats people like . The worst part was that, even though i was not receiving call back regarding my numerous complaints, i was receiving daily calls from them asking me to pay their post-paid bill. The joke to this is Airtel somehow managed not to send the ebill to me despite many complaints from me asking them to send it. The irritation of me trying to make them believe that i still havent received the bill can be imagined by any customer who has been at the receiving end of such a treatment.

                I have been using airtel mobile office 2 GB internet pack of RS 98 for the last 6 months & I m extremely satisfied with its browsing as well as downloading speed.I have even suggested my friends to use ur service for net surfing.But this month when I bought RS 98(2 gb ) internet pack ,I m losing d net balance i.e. MB(MEGA BYTE) balance even wid out browsing or surfing..Initially,I had 2048 MB ,but after 4 days when I checked my net balance I found that only 600 MB is left though I used only 200 MB or so...Infact I hav never been able to complete 2048 MB in one month,but these month it has deducted to 600MB in just 4 days..I dont know why or how my net balance is getting deducted this way...

                I hope u hav understood my problem . I m xpecting quick action from u and hoping that my problem will be solved in few days. This is my airtel mobile number:[protected]

                  I have been using airtel DTH (Customer id - [protected]) for the past few months. For the past one week, a number of channels were not coming with the message displayed that the Set top box is unable to receive signals..

                  We called the airtel customer care on April 3rd - they took note of our complaint and gave a reference number saying that the issue will be fixed within a day.
                  No one called , no engineer turned up at my place, issue is not resolved - but at the end of the day I get an sms from airtel saying Issue is resolved and complaint closed.

                  I called them again the next day - and for the next 3 days the same process - no one comes to fix the issue but they sent a message that Issue is resolved.

                  Finally after a week a person turned up, he was working on the issue for almost an hour and finally said that the fault is with the dish and junction box and gave another contact.
                  We called this new person, he too has been saying that he will come to fix it and it has been 3 days now.

                  Now, no channels are coming.Called the customer care again and told the person on the line that I want to talk to one of the higher officials.. he put me on hold for almost 15 min and the line got disconnected.

                  This is my worst experience with any product.
                  I suggest nobody take Airtel DTH -
                  - worst service
                  -signals are very bad - if the mobile rings in the next room, the channel blacks out for sometime till the call is disconnected
                  -no issue resolution
                  -customer care executives dont understand your problem

                  Airtel — NON RECEPTION OF SIGNAL

                  Airtel which proclaims, to be the no 1 service provider in india, must visit National games village, Koramangala, bangalore once to know the facts. signal level varies often here, and most of the times at the lower end and not reachable on hte other end, this may be due to concrete surroundings, I think Airtel engineers should address this problem

                  Good luck if you choose to subscribe to any of Airtel's services/products. Mr Mittal and associates are not interested in hearing consumer complaints.

                    Dear Sir, I have applied for MNP from Airtel to Vodafone by sending Port followed by mobile number and got unique porting id i.e AT987824 dated 22 Mar 11 with expiry date of 06 Apr 11. I submitted the required documents on the same day. After 2-3 days i got a computer recorded message from Airtel offering some of the exciting offer to withdraw my request. As i already fed up from the services provided by airtel in this circle. without listening a complete line of recorded message, i rejected the call as i wanted to up hold my request for MNP. On 29 Mar 11 i received an sms from Vodafone saying that "your porting request AT987824 has been rejected by your current operator due to there are subsisting contractual obligation from the subscriber agreement. Pls contact your current operator for further details". Within another an hour i called to the Airtel customer care for asking the reason for rejecting my MNP request. From customer care side somebody ( i did not recognised his name) told that my request has been rejected because i have accepted some of their offer to withdraw my request. Whereas i have already mentioned that i have rejected their computer recirded call giving some offer. on that issue i spoke to customer care executive and asked him to transfer my call to the upper executive. He simply told that i am transferring call. But after few seconds he disconnected the call at his own. After that i called again and spoke to Customer care executive again. This time i recognised his name. It was Mr. Lakshami Narayan. I told him the full issue and again he said same thing that you have accepted some of our offer that is whu your request has been rejected. He was not at all agreed to accept mistake from Airtel side.Then i asked him to transfer call to your apper executive. Thank gos this time he really transfered call. Now the Team Leader Abhishek Was there on other side. He also tried to convince me that i have accepted some of their offer. So surprising i have accepted their offer and i myself is not aware. I simply told him that i am not interested in any of your offer ans as well any of the services. And i asked him what is the solution because i have not accepted your offer. he said sir put up fresh MNP request, there is no other solution.We can not consider your this request. That time i simply told that i am going to put up Complaint in consumer forum. After few minutes i received call on my mobile from Ms Shanthi from mobile number [protected]. she said Sir Sorry for inconvenience and asked me the reason for change. I told her that i am not happy with your services. she told Sir please dont file any consumer complaint, we will consider your request and release the Network. I asked her again that i hope you are going to release the network on my same request. That time she told yes sir.Since that day already 14 days have passed and there is no response from their side. And now i am not able to contact customer care also, because they have amended their system in such a way that there is no provision in computer recorded call to speak to customer care executive. Due to this only last option left to me is going to consumer court. I will wait for the head office to take necessary action till 14 Apr 11. After that there is no other option left with me except going to consumer court.
                    Dear Sir, My cell is continuously on. And i have not received any of your SMS till now. i think with this now you can understand the condition of network at this place. And that is why everybody is trying to switch to other networks. think off about the network condition of this place.

                    "Connect with us 24X7 and we will be happy to assist you with a swift resolution to your queries on all our products and services" there is no concern of Airtel to this wordings, what they are using for their promotion. days together have passed since i have made this complaint, but no action has been taken till now. Now i am planning to move to consumer court and will take the company to court, as i dont find any success by puting my complaint to www.consumercomplaints.in. During this last so many days, i tried my best to call Airtel customer care because i was a loyal customer to Airtel for last four years. But now i could understood that there is no meaning of Customer to Airtel. They even stopped me to speak to their customer care by removing option of talking to customer care in my mobile number number. I have already tied up with Some of the media to start my struggle against Airtel.
                    Sir, it is yet not over. I dont know how is your team is considering as it is resolved?
                    till the time i am not released from Airtel network, How can you consider that it is resolved. Are you closing all your complaints without customer satisfaction like this. It is not over

                    Dear Sir, i am repeatedly getting messages at consumer complaint forum as well as on mobile that my complaint have been resolved. But merely generating new porting code and sending documents on your request doesn't resolve my complaint. Till the time i am not ported out from Airtel network, my problem is still open and this time i am not going to listen any story from your side.

                      Hi, I am Rakesh Kumar Singh having Customer ID No-[protected], I am suffering problem since 19th March 2011, many times complaint to you and nearest service centre, but not resolved our problem, the engineer visited 3-4 times, they pointed out the setup box is not working, i changed tommorrow but never comes tommorrow.

                      Hi,

                      I have a multi room connection with Airtel DTH.

                      This issue is related to my HD connection ([protected] - 001). Whenever I tried to use HDMI, there was no audio after one week from installation (Sep 2010). I called so many times to Airtel Customer Care and No service engineer came to my home. Finally I settled with AV mode, though I paid so much of money to get HD setup box.

                      All of sudden, this setup box is not even booting up for the last ONE MONTH and I could not able to view any channels in any mode. Every day my account balance is reducing, though this setup box is not working.

                      This time also I have made at least 20 phone calls to Airtel Customer Care. Everytime, they would say that this problem would be addressed the next day. But I would receive a sms as "My issue has been resolved" at the end of next day without any appearance of Airtel Service Engineer.

                      I escalated this isssue to Airtel Customer Care Supervisors also. Everyone of them would listen the story of their bad service. But they would take no steps to rectify it.

                      As I satisfied with Airtel Mobile, I opted for Airtel DTH. But Airtel DTH is providing worst of worst service in this field.

                      As an end customer, I dont know, what to do next?

                        Hi,

                        I have made a complaint related to add 3 channels to my package.

                        534, 536 and 698.

                        and i have called more than 10 times regarding this.

                        whenever i called customer care, they are telling that to add these channels it is requird to change the dish alignment and the engineer visit your place within 4 hours or within 24 hours.

                        but nothing has been done till now. i am getting Error: SM1

                        please confirm me whether it is possible to add those channels or not.

                        for Bhakti (698) channel, already my account has been debited but, i am not getting that channel.

                        Airtel DTH service has been pathetic. First of all whenever I call the toll free number(12150), the call gets disconnected before connecting to the customer representative. They make you call the toll number
                        [protected] and then only you are able to speak to the person. I had emailed Airtel reg this but I have not received any response.

                        Second i added the new channels CBS, FOX etc on saturday after asking the customer representative. But till today I am unable to watch those channels. That person did not tell me anything about the realignment and I have paid for the channels that I am unable to view. I have called the customer care(toll no.) many times and they are telling the representative will come today.

                        I've been an Airtel customer(4 mobile, landline, broadband) for over 5 years and I did not expect this kind of service. My customer ID is [protected].

                        Technician came twice to re-align the dish for changing to new satellite. but they could not get the signals of the new satellite. As per them there is a tree stopping the signals.
                        Finally, i am not getting the new channels which I've requested(534, 536 & 698).
                        Even old satellite also i am getting the signal quality 30-40 points and signal will goes hourly once.

                          I purchased Airtel DTH HD Connection from Kaushik Enterprises on 08-Apr-11. i elected the South Value pack which has 151 channels +1 interactive Channel + 1 Reginal pack , and it cost me for a year Rs.3890.

                          nice to hear from you...Now the total service has been stopped from the Airtel DTH. if i contact customer care i am not getting any good response...

                          could you please give me the contact number or e-mail so that i can communicate with you.

                          any have if my problem will not solved in another 2 days .. i am going to call media TV9 and infront of them i will burn the AIRTEL DTH dish as well as setup box on the road...etc.please consider this matter as serious and i am not kiddding...

                            I want to know weather the Prepaid and Postpaid connection from a same operator are to be treated as from different Network as per TRAI regulation?
                            I want to clarify this as I wanted to port out from AIRTEL network on which I was a postpaid customer since 2005. When I applied for MNP it simply rejected the case because there is some unpaid dues(though there is a deposit amount of some 500 times of my unpaid amount) This case happened 2 times because whenever I apply for MNP it takes 2 days minimum to process and I had to pay the bills on the application date. So I converted to prepaid. This time it rejects my application showing the cause that I am not on there network for 90 days.
                            I am not finding the point in TRAI publication where it has been written that the postpaid and prepaid from same company are of 2 different network

                            There is no proper network in most of the places then i ned to for wat purpose they started their service
                            I am a AIRTEL Customer having no.[protected]. I remained a postpaid customer from May 2005 to April2011. Now on 6th april I switched over to Prepaid. I applied for MNP to BSNL in Feb-2011 after clearing the dues(My billing cycle is 3rd to 2nd of month) during the 2 days(from 4th to 5th) I accumulated a dues of only Rs2.00 as I was not using the SIM. But your Office rejected the request as I was having a dues of Rs2. Then I switched over from Postpaid to Prepaid. When I appllied for MNP to BSNL your office rejected my request saying that I am not on your network for last 90 days.
                            I want to be clarified that Wether your Prepaid and Postpaid connection are belong to different NETWORK?
                            Answer me in accordance with TRAI regulation.
                            This is the ready-made answer for most of the cases in the world. While I was facing the network coverage issues inside my home, you were doing the same thing to close my complain. I don't expect anything more than that from you.

                                I got a new airtel landline and broadband connection on 9 march with 4mbps browsing speed. The airtel executive activated the line after goofing up once already (activated a different number not alotted to me).. He asked me where all he wants the connection to work.. i asked him to activate one landline and broadband connection in my living room and a parallel connection in my bedroom.. the parallel bedroom connection did not get activated but thats a different stroy. the main concern is that the airtel broadv=band speed since day 1 is 30kbps instead of 400 kbps on a 4mbps surfing speed connection. i asked the tech to rectify it, and he gives me an answer that sir as its a new connection the speed will get fine by tomorrow. i knew he isnt gonna help so i let him go and called the customer service (this was my first call)..after going through the troubleshotting steps the customer service rep said that we will check again tomorrow, which never came. i called 3 more times but no resolution. I have again called today and went through the troubleshooting steps again post which the CS forwarded a request to send a technician.

                                Post this i get a call from gurgaon that sir your computer has a virus and its your computer fault. I explained the technician about my background that I have 4 laptops and a computer and I am an IBM employee, a certified Dell Technician and an MCSE and I know these technicalities, to which the employee answers that 'sir dont you have a good computer. i asked him to come and check it for himself, the rude says sir why dont you get the connection cancelled. I asked him to cancel it and he bangs the phone on my face. I guess I am pissed off after 6 phone calls and a stupid technician to tell me how to maintain a computer. I will take this matter further, no matter what.

                                anyone from the airtel legal department contact me, as my brother who is an advocate is already working o the case. lets see who is the boss..

We purchased Airtel settop box few month back. we are facing repeated issues due to signal problem, poor customer service etc.,. now the remote control is not working and its so frustrating that we need to move to tv and change channels. Its so disappointing to hear that one of the top company like Airtel provide the poor service.

                                  When we called up the customer service, its pathetic that no one is picking up calls. Always the response comes as “Busy”.

                                    I am holding Airtel prepaid connection([protected]) since 6 years, i have recharged RC 123(transaction ID[protected] on 2nd april 2011, its benefits are airtel to airtel tariff 10 ps/minute, other local mobiles 50 ps/minute and validity is 30 days, but it worked only 4 days, from 7th april onwards iam getting charged 50 ps/minute for every call, i registered complaint on 8th April with ref number CBDPA[protected]. They just closed complaint without any feedback to me, again i call CC to know the status they transferred call to their supervisor, i was in waiting in the call for 10 minutes for the supervisor response, after call was disconnected, it happened same three times, after three times iam not even getting the option to talk to CC. Again next day i called CC then i was successfully connected with supervisor, he confirmed that wrong billing is happening, he raised again complaint with ref number CBDPA[protected], and he told my problem will be solved in 3 days and i will be credited the balance whichever is deducted due to wrong billing. But it is not solved, and i got a service message from airtel i.e "You are charged correctly as per your tariff plan and to know your tariff send PLAN to 405", even i tried to send PLAN to 405, this message itself getting failed telling check network services. The same happened in March month also, even their is no proper resolution for the complaint given in March....

                                    Kindly do the needful to solve my problem....

                                    I dont why you are not able to contact me with my number?? am switched on 24/7. Can i know why it is taking this much delay to solve simple problems(which am giving repeatadly)??? how mays days still i have to wait for resolution as there is many other operators are available?? and these days Airtel network is also very bad in hyderabad, out of 10 calls min 8 calls are disconecting while in conversation. Never got this much irritation in these 6 years of my usage of airtel. Your cc are very silly, few people will tell am in tariff of 1 rupee, few people are telling am in 50np tariff.. I dont know why your CC people are irritating ordinary people...

                                      On 22nd May 2011 I got credit of Rs. 100.00 which was deducted from my a/c earlier.                                       All are same [protected]@in.airtel.com, [protected]@in.airtel.com. No one is replying neither refunding the credit. Such a third class service I have never seen by telecom provider.
                                      Here in UAE there is monopoly in telecommunication still they are giving top class service & you people facing such a tough competition and giving such kind of service.
                                      I don't have any other option to change net provider who is deducting for unnecessary & not even replying.

                                        I purchased above card before 1-1/2 year.Then used little and kept unusued. Then again before 20 days I needed to use it.So I recharged with Rs. 100/- at Ashram Rd ,Ahmedabad ccc on 25th March,2011 at 14.10 noon.But the SIM didin't work.I enquired at ccc. They told that now nothing can be done.I purchased one new SIM NO;[protected]. Why is it not possible to give credit of that 100/-rupees to my new SIM ? How can Airtel keep my money unauthentically ? If it will solve this Iam going to file a complaint in Consumer Forum. Plz reply within 7 days from today.
