I have been using Airtel broad band connection from past few years and there were no major issues till now.The minor issues being promptly solved during a days turnaround time.
But from past one week the phone has been dead and internet has been not working.I had raised a request with call center with request id 44988684.Till now i have seen the most worst customer service ever.They simply dont seem to bother about how to resolve that.

Fed up, i raised a request for disconnection.The call center personnel said that she will send me a confirmation mail.But till now i havent got any such mail..

Airtel customer service is not as good as it was in the past.Perhaps the management can take a clue from this if they want not to lose thier hard earned customer base from past.

    Sir,
    i am use airtel company in mobile and my airtel no. is [protected].i want bill of last month feb 2011 . so i will send PPREBILL on 121 at 13 mar 2011 and my Req ID 142995 and 50 rs will be deducted from my account for this bill but it will not come then i will contact to airtel customer care they say there is no req form your side and say resend this message so i will resend this message but again they will deducted 50 rs from my account and give new req id 146364 at 25 mar 2011 and say in 10 days your bill will reach but bill will not come in 12 April 2011 at 12 noon.

    So plz help me to bill .

      This is to inform you that I Ankur Sengupta had a number of Airtel ([protected]). Previously I was the consumer of that number then I handed over to my brother and I took other Airtel no. [protected]. But I always pay its bill. The issue is that the Airtel no. [protected] got PD due to non submit the bill by my brother. I was totally unknown about this matter. Any how I cane to know that the facility of Incoming and Outgoing is not available in the Airtel no. [protected] and the bill amount is Rs 2800/-. Mr. Vishal who was the collection incharge told me to submit the bill. I requested him to take the amount from my father because I am out of station. He came to my father and took the amount worth Rs 2800/- and told him that this is number [protected] got barred and if you restart this number then you have to pay Rs 350/- to restart and resubmit your documents. In case my father gave him all the documents and money worth Rs350/- and told him that we have changed our Residence from Khurrampur to Shatabdi Nagar what would be then? Mr. Vishal and Shobit told him that no issue give your all essential documents we will get your number [protected] started. But when my father asked for the receipt he denied rudely and told that receipt for this money will not be delivered. Anyways my father did not say anything to him just told him that ok no issue just restart this number [protected].

      Now what happened that after some days Mr. Vishal no.([protected]) got switched off and Mr. Shoibit ([protected]) comes to solve or issues. Here this number [protected] not restarted as a Postpaid and instead of Postpaid they gave me a sim and told me that I is Prepaid and after 3 Months you will be able to convert it on Postpaid. Yesterday[protected] I reached to Vardhaman Plaza to take that Sim of [protected] there a new drama begins Mr. Amit and Mr. Jain refused to give me the sim and told me that first you have to pay Rs 25/- for this sim. I told them politely but Mr. jain rudely behaved and I had to pay Rs 25/- more to get the sim. I called to Mr. Shobit ([protected]) and he gave me Rs 25/- back at Govt. Inter College but the 10 Rupee note was taped and was refused by the bus conductor of Roadways where I was going to Mawana for my job purpose. I had no money but by the grace of god one of my acquaintance gave that 10 Rupee note and I safely reached to Mawana otherwise God knows what could happened.

      And now today another drama comes in the early morning I inserted that sim [protected] but is was not be activated. I recalled to Mr. Ashutosh ([protected]) he clearly mentioned that you have to recharge worth Rs 50/- then as much you can so that your number could be restarted again.

      This is ridiculous for me. I spent Rs 2800/- then Rs 350/- then Rs 25/- where 10 rupee note was taped and now I would have to give Rs 50/- and Rs 25 or Rs 50/- for talk with this number even incoming facility is not activated.

      Don't you give salary to these rude boys. I almost spend Rs RS 3575/- for this done by your boys. Now it is high time to bear.

      Kindly refund my Rs 350/- so that I could recharge and run this number. Now its your turn to see what you say to me.

      Airtel — amount of 2800 Rs collected from my mobile bills.

      From January 2008 Airtel was sending me excess bills for the service that I was not used. Every month an excess of 300 Rs for the DADA is collected, informing that I'm using DADA, WAP, eta. With repeated request also Airtel still deny to return the excess amount of 2800 Rs collected from my mobile [protected].

      I had handed over all these bill copies to some of the leading newspapers and TV media.

        Still the same problem of hanging of many channels viz. COLOR, Bindas, Nick PIx etc. is persists during afternoon and evening time even after my continuous request for resolving the same to your local customer care at VAPI, GUJARAT, SMS services and your

        Now since last two days the service become more worst as during evening and night hours your so called Digital TV service is giving me the messages that the card inserted is not of Airtel with error codes like 2 or 25. than every time we have to shutdown our TV, need to remove the Airtel card from the receiver and again need to reinsert in the receiver than for some time may be 10-15 min? it shows the programmes and again shows the same problem with same error codes.

        Now even my 6 yrs old son also knows what is the procedure we need to follow when your services get hanged with such types of error codes.

        I don't know why such types of problems happen with AIRTEL only? i have TATA SKY at my father's home where he never face such types of problem any time even after more than 2 years!!!! So this is the unique problem that airtel customers are facing on which airtel has to think for some concrete solution other wise it affects very seriously on the costumer strength of AIRTEL!!!!



        Today also i again call to the local airtel customer care and got the same answer that we will send some one but let me tell you till date after such answer no body is even taking care of at least attending the complain.

        Can you please suggest what further i have to do or i need to take any other actions?

        Or give me the suitable contact number of any superior in Gujarat where i can request for the service which is my RIGHT as a customer after paying one year subscription in ADVANCE.

        Your urgent reply is highly appreciated as i do not want to loose my Ind. vs SRl final crcket match today.

        Actually i took your annual package including all channels WHICH WAS COSTING ARROUND 3800/-

        NOW SINCE LAST ARROUND TWO MONTHS, YOUR SO CALLED DIGITAL TV IS NOT ABLE TO SHOW ME MANY CHANNELS MAINLY IN NIGHT HOURS (STARTING FROM 6:00PM). THE CHANNELS WHICH ARE NOT VISIBLE ARE COLOUR TV, BINDAS TV TLC AND MANY OTHER VERY IMPORTANT CHANNELS.

        I CALLED LOTS OF TIME TO YOUR TOLLED CUSTOMER CARE NUMBER ([protected]) FROM WHERE I AGAIN GIVEN ANOTHER NUMBER FOR YOUR LOCAL PERSON ([protected]) WHERE I REQUESTED MANY TIME TO COME AND CHECK THE ROOT OF PROBLEM BUT TILL DATE NOT A SINGLE ACTION IS TAKEN.

        Good luck if you choose to subscribe to any of Airtel's services/products. Mr Mittal and associates are not interested in hearing consumer complaints.

          Hi Airtel,

          I have been using Airtel mobile Prepaid for more than six years but these days your service & customer support are getting worst .

          today I have Activated AIRTEL GPRS(10Rs Per day-Unlimited) on my handset & i got a message that 'Rs 10 daily unltd GPRS Pack is activated.Next deduction due on 10/04/2011 00:00hrs.to deactivated dail *567#' after that i going to surf internet on my mobile but after few min i saw that my all balance are gone iam shocked how it happened.

          So I tried to contact customer care 198 and also [protected] but my customer service are deactivated from your end.

          Tell me this is your service

          My Actual Balance was more than 72 Rs before activation of GPRS but after activation its suddenly drop to .3 Paisa.


          What is this i want my money back or i have to take some Action against you .It may be court case or shift to Other network provider.

          & Also I am continuously trying to deactivate AIRTEL GPRS but i am not able to connect Customer care because you are made customer care disable on my number even i tried to dail *567# and after that select 7 for manage account the 1 for deactivation but my GPRS not deactivated yet every day 10Rs Deducted from my account.

            Hi

            I Rathinasabapathy complaining for the cell number [protected].. I recharge for Rs 234 on 9th april 2011. On that day i lost Rs 2 and on next day morning i lost Rs 30 and evening Rs 2. Again on next day morning they took Rs 2. I lost this amount without speaking on cell.

            I dont want anyother service like caller tune , internet , etc. I use this number only for calls. I never request for anyother service.

            I kindly request u to give me proper explanation and give back the amount which u took unnecessarily.

                ITS OF MORE THAN A WEEK WE PURCHASED AIRTEL HD SETUP BOX.

                EVERY TIME THEIR ENGINEERS SORT OF TECHNICIANS VISITED THE PREMISES BUT THEY WERE NOT capable TO INSTALL THE SETUP BOX AND SOLVE THE PROBLEM. THEY HAVE CHANGED THE SAME BUT OVER AND ABOVE THEY FAILED TO ACTIVATE MY SERVICES for a second time, THEIR CUSTOMER CARE AND THE ENTIRE AIRTEL DIGITAL SERVICE IS A WORST SERVICE PROVIDER IN THE COUNTRY AS COMPARED TO TATASKY, VIDEOCON D2H WHICH I HAVE USED.

                KINDLY TAKE THIS INTO HIGH CONSIDERATION AND GIVE VALUE TO YOUR VALUED CUSTOMERS.

                    I got a free Airtel DTH connection with my Sony Bravia. I got a customer id and recharge coupon for Rs 1000 and then my horrible journey with Airtel started. First it is impossible to get thru 12150 it just happily keeps on connecting but the moment you select the option to talk to any customer executive for new installation u get disconnected. Somehow I found out that the 1800 number at least connects to a customer service executive (lets call them jokers as this is what they are) so these jokers give me different confirmation receipt numbers each time I call them for new installation:

                    and confirm every time that the installation would be done in 2 days. One joker had the guts to give me the number of a technician: [protected] Sai Enterprises, google this number to find out the cheating that goes behind this number. Worst part every time I call them (today included) the jokers ask for the same information again and again Sir what is your scratch card number, what is ur TV model number which package you want to select etc etc?
                    I'm absolutely fed up and frustrated with these jokers and their service. I'll talk to the Sony World manager too about this, right now I'm not sure if I even want to go for this connection.
                    I wish these guys were operating in a country where the customers had a little more power and they would be bankrupt in no time. On same lines the id given at Airtel website [protected]@airtel.in is useless no point sending a mail there. I sent the complaint to other email id [protected]@airtel.in and I got an immediate response that my complaint would be "looked into" and so far nothing.
                    Who r u fooling here? I've sent a mail to airtelpresence even before posting out here and I get a feeling that the above is also an automated response i've received no SMS from your side.

                      I purchased an Airtel prepaid SIM on 12 mar 2011 ([protected]) from Airtel dealer at Pune and submitted all documents. My SIM was activated same day. Subsequently I was called by Airtel verification team repeatedly and informed that the SIM is not registered in my name. One fine day oone of their agents called and then confirmed that all details have been corrected online while he was talking to me. However nothing was done.
                      I have raised atleast 7 mails to their nodal officer too and have been assured needful being done.Subsequently, on 4 April 11, I again submitted my documents to the dealer. Suddenly, on Sat 8 April 11, the SIM has been de-activated by Airtel. Serious issue is that Airtel staff entered wrong details and this can be a serious security issue if some one manipulates.

                      Probably to hide this seriuos lapse, SIM has been deactivated.

                        Airtel customer care is just a dumble ness.If you are trying to tell them your complains they are telling you to wait for an hour.even not registering your complains in airtel.this all person are illitrate.airtel broadband is just a cheating.


                        prvin silvani is one of thier executive from banglore who has not understanding english proper even not registering complains.

                        I Tried 198 100 times I am unable to connect the customer care.Now I have no way to tell my problem.That is why I am complainting here
                        i am unable to connect the customer care, in my mobile wall paper as been activated . i want to deactivate unable to search them . i have recharged for rs.250 last week but i lost rs 110.

                        kindly deactivate the wall paper and do not send any message to mobile no [protected].

                        air tel are cheaters, if the balance is zero they do not send any message and once we recharge immediately keep sending messages and we will be losing money.

                            Hello Sir,
                            I used to play online games a lot. So when ever i play online games my broadband connection frequently gets disconnected. I complained to the customer care and the technician will check the cables and says all are perfect. There is some fault in your system only. Then i Went to HP service centre and told them about the problem. They said there will be fault in the modem and they told me to call customer care and change the modem. So i made a complaint regarding this. Then the technician came and he didnt replace the modem. Till now he didnt replace the modem. I was very upset with this. Please see to it and take necessary action.Thank you.

                              Please clearify me what is happening. If You will do like this than nobody will go for online recharge service provided by Airtel.

                              Airtel Prepaid — AMOUNT NOT CREDITED TO MY MOBILE

                              I recharged my mobile through online banking 15 days before two days i waited for credit then from the third day i made call to customer care they lifted the call and they replied that amount will be credited in 5 days. After that no amount was credited from that day onwards. While i making call to customer care they are not lifting the call my call is diverted.kindly rectify the problem as early as possible as AIRTELl is a reputated organization and giving good customer service it is not good to divert the calls while makiing the call to customer care, suppose If they are attending the call and saying some answers it is better .kindly credit the amount to my bank account or to my mobile.

                                I am Airtel HD DTH customer from Coimbatore. I had applied for the Movies Now HD channel through request given as SMS to 54325 on March 19th 2011. Then I thought it should be a matter few minutes that I get added up the channel. since there was no response for more than half-an-hour - I called the customer care and asked them about it to know that there has to be direction chnage done to my dish since the new channels are being given through them. They told me that some engineer will come and do that.
                                The next day as nobody came - I called them back again and told them that nothing has got corrected - so they said they are making some changes then and so I would be without any transmission for some time - and THATS IT ! every channel was off the transmission to my house (error message: SM2) - so it even much worse than before and so again called them to know that the changes should have been done after the change of the direction. One kind person changed back the settings and so everything was back to normal then. I got my Request No: 631448 and Happy code to be shared with the engineer on 25th March 2011 and then again another SMS with request No: 6317667 for another request of the same problem the same day. When I talked with the Customer care once again - they told me not to place any more requests. So kept quiet with that
                                After one week, I contacted the local DTH dealer from whom the equipments were once got - and a Lady answered saying that, " Sir! The customer care persons would state anything unreal of doing so you can't expect anything to happen within such a short time. There are about 15,000 requests pending and it would happen by that order" - I asked her if she could give any approximate time line for my request to happen and she asked me my request number and told me I need to call her again the next day to find that out. The next day and till now the number is out of reach.
                                I tried to get the personnel, who had once set the DTH in my home ( 6 months ago), so that he could come and get this direction business ready. He initially refused but later told that he would come if gets paid for it separately - I accepted for that. But after dodging for a 3 days with repeated phone calls - he never called me back to do anything. So I thought he was least interested for an existing customer and never thought being loyal for one poor guy sitting here who can't do anything about this. If he had refused, without offering me a chance - it would have been honest of him but he wanted money but never had time to collect it !!!
                                Frustrated with all my routes and got quiet for sometime again - for things to happen itself.
                                After waiting till 09th April I called the Customer care again explaining all this things once again - and again one gentleman, answered politely stating that he would make some one come over here to my home within one day (Request No:6767829 and the happy code).
                                I don't know what wrong I had done all through the procedure and no one had answered any truth till - if it would happen within some days or not - all of them were giving false promises. SO I HAVE THOUGHT OF CLOSING MY CONNECTION IF NO FURTHER ACTION IS TAKEN WITH THE REMAINING GETTING CLOSED BY 12TH MAY FROM ACCOUNT - AND JUMP TO SOME OTHER DTH SERVICE.
                                If there is a chance of any Airtel Managers to see this complaint - is there by any chance complete things, instead of calling me and giving me assurances???

My Air tel working fine before visiting there engineer, I got a call from Air Tel DTh Sir your Dish direction will be change and they do it after that I am facing lot of problem nothing is coming in my TV I have told to customer care they give me only compliant number and happy code Can we watch TV with complaint number not only nodal officer also not responding one week has been gone...ok no issue I m going for another DTH service provider

                                My name is Ankur Mohan, I am in Gurgaon. I have same problem. I have called the airtel customer service about 10 times and each time they say some one will come. Its been already 10 days no engineer has turned up to fix the direction or whatever.

                                I always thought that despite the general mess we see with companies we deal with, Airtel is a bit different when it comes to customer service, But with my recent experience I am thinking to change to other guys and that will be all my services including Phones, Internet etc.

                                I hope someone resolves this issues as this is too frustrating.

                                STILL NOT SOLVED

                                What a shame my issue is still not resolved.
                                No one came no one called.

                                Guess what, now you can not even talk to the Airtel digital TV guys. When you call up cusomer care - 12150, and select option 3 (to speak to a representative) - first they will let you wait for 5 minutes, and then an automated message will say "Please SMS somenumber to know your balance).

                                Big shame Airtel. Get your house in order.
                                I would like to convey my message of Airtel DTH Provider that when costumer change his address within guarantee period of STB the connection of Aritel DTH should be re-install his new changed addres without any cost.

                                  I notice my balance deduction for use of airtel live for first time on 1st April 2011 when am amount of Rs 82 was deducted.After that I notice that every day some amount have been deducted due to use of airtel live (for browsing purpose like google.com, picture sites, live video etc) , which I have never used(browsed).

                                  Till 10 April more than Rs 200 has been deducted from my prepaid mobile [protected].

                                  I have already put complain in ailtel several times but no proper action has been taken.
                                  Neither customer service accept to refund me any money for this unused service, nor they assist me how to stop this.

                                  Is this the way that Airtel is supposed to deliver its services.

                                  I am feeling hopeless, kindly assist me gaining proper services.

                                  Also explain if Airtel cant take care of its customers, should I move to another service provider.

                                      I am for the last 3 months continuosly facing a problem that my static IP stops working everyday at night from 11.00pm to 6.00am, but never an issue in the day time. On sundays also most of the times it has a problem. On enquiring they there is no issue.
                                      I have been regularly sending mails to the nodal officer with attachment of the screen shots of the issue. But no response. I have been asking them for the details of the downtime as per their recording system, no response.
                                      Today 10/04/2011, the airtel complaint center executive informed me that my IP has been blocked at three servers for spaming complaints. For your information I do not have any email ID configured on my machine.
                                      I have doubts that somebody is misusing my static IP by blocking my access at night and on sundays.

                                      Nobody at airtel is ready to escalate the matter to the seniors, neither they are giving me any direct contact details of their seniors.

                                        This is to bring to your kind notice that I Anthony Francis was using your fix line broadband (Landline no: [protected]), I moved house in the month of Feb'11 and asked Airtel to transfer my services to my new address, however when airtel checked the coverage in the arear that i was moving to, there was'nt one, so i decided to close my broadband, i made a final bill payment of Rs 1900.00 at one of your outlet in Vaishali, Ghaziabad, after that i came to know that the connection was not cancelled even though i attendaed that final retension call that airtel to reatin the customer, but in my case retenion was not possible because my house was out of coverage area, after so many efforts by me i was retained by airtel i dont know on what grounds, i started recieving emails from airtel thanking me that i have decided not to move away from airtel services, i again visited your branch and had a word over the phone, and to my supprise my connecction was not cancelled and moreover the customer care executive hung up on me because he was not able to answer my question, and let me tell you i was not abusive, even though the phone was put down on me twice, finally i was told that the issue will be sorted, aginf after few day i got a call from your collection people asking me o pay the bill, i aging went to your branch aging it was the same story, after visiting the branch atleast 5-6 time my issue was not sorted, and finally we are on the stage werein my relative, friends etc are recieving the calls from collection people and they are telling them that i have not paid the bill, the last supervisor that i spoke to was Raman on 50101 from your branch he assured me that he will take care of everything, nothing has been sorted, and the bill has mounted to Rs 1500 for the services that i have never used ( strange!!!) now i am going to consumer court for this issue, and will be demanding for compensation for all the hassle and grife that airtel has given me, if you people wants to sort the things out then make it with a suitable compensation.
