Dear Sir,
My number is [protected]. I was with IDEA, due to network issues (as against there advertisements), i opted for number portability. I chose Airtel, and my porting request got approved on 13. Post that, the IDEA sim is of no use. As i was told, i had put on the Airtel Sim. There was a thank you message and welcome message which came from airtel. It shows full coverage. But i was not able to make calls, neither incoming or outgoing.
I started calling to customer care, each and every one giving me their own suggestions. Meanwhile, its a prepaid. I was not able to recharge the card. They suggested me various options, well, nothing worked out.
Hence, i asked them to connect me to the supervisor. I had talked with 3 supervisor so far, to my surprise, all gave me different suggestions. They all registered complaints with a turnaround time of 24-72 hours.
End result, i still cant use the sim. not able to make call or receive calls.
Today its the 5th day. As per my understanding the porting should happen in 2 hours downtime. Why is this delay, and why no body has any information.
I feel, MNP is of no use, another way to make money and harass customer.

Complaint marked as Resolved
Surprisingly, he told me that the complaints were registered in wrong departments and hence it was never getting resolved. Also, the complaints were taken by so called supervisors.
The response given here, seems to be a generic one. If you had already looked at it and pasted the standard response, you could have come to know that this was resolved.
