Dear Sir

I am Vishal Shah, my airtel dth customer id is [protected].

I am Airtel DTH customer from last one year. In last one year, I never faced problem in my Airtel DTH. However from last few days i am not finding picture on my TV as sharp as it used to be before few days. I had called customer care yesterday but they said that for sending a technical engineer at home i need to pay him Rs. 100.

Kindly make me understand if i am paying montly rental then why i should i pay Rs. 100 as a service charge??

Why a esteemed company like Airtel wants to make money by applying such cheap tactise of collecting money for technical service?? Why would a customer like that a engineer should visit at their home without any reason??

Today morning i had got a call from a engineer (his number is [protected]) who called me up and when i denied to pay Rs. 100 disconnected my call abruptly. Is it really a way to behave with a customer?

Hope to see reply from Airtel on urgent basis.

    Hi,
    I am having 3 airtel mobile connection. Since, the network was very poor at both my office and home, I wanted to port my Airtel no. to VODOFONE. But airtel is giving foolish reasons that i have contract with airtel (ie. CUG.) Then I removed form CUG again submitted the MNP request. They have rejected my porting request again stating that have outstanding. which is nothing but current month amount which is only 22Rs., 10Rs, and 15Rs.
    already Airtel has my advance amount and they can adjust from that.
    If Airtel is not able to resolve the issue, why they are not

      Dear sir,

      I am a customer of AIRTEL cellular mobile services at Bangalore since 10+ years.

      My cell no. Is [protected].

      I want to shift to VODAFONE cellular services by using the mobile portability services introduced recently and I have initiated the process for the same on 12th Feb 2011 and as a receipt acknowledgment I have got the portability code (Porting ID AX548467) with validity up to 26th Feb 2011 But still, M/s AIRTEL is not activated my service. Therefore, kindly take necessary follow up step and activate my number in VODAFONE by changing from AIRTEL.
      I requested AIRTEL to let me change the services by using portability service.
      It would be very kind and really appreciative if you could help me out in resolving the problem at the earliest.
      Kindly look into this matter and do the needful.

        Airtel does it again. I have been a customer now for almost 10 years in Bangalore and Delhi with Airtel proving once more that they do not care about their customers AT ALL.

        Last year in March 2010, I had called customer service in Delhi with a complaint that the plan I was paying Rs. 2222 for was being given to new customers at Rs. 1699. They said plans do change and they cannot automatically change it for me until and unless I call them and ask them for an upgrade.

        So I asked them why my Plan was no longer featured on their website and I was told that the Rs.2222 Plan was discontinued, but customers who were already on that Plan would continue on it unless and until they called Airtel and requested an upgrade.

        Basically for six months or more I was paying almost Rs. 800 extra every month because I did not call them about an upgrade.

        So I asked for my Plan to be upgraded. Since I was anyway upgrading, I also checked for a higher speed of 2Mbps which they said was not possible due to last mile problems after they did a feasibility study - so I could get only 1Mbps. So I settled for the Freedom 1699 Plan at 1Mbps with a cap of 100GB after which speeds would be reduced to 512 Kbps.

        Knowing that Airtel cannot be trusted I requested a PDF of my Plan and also took screenshots of it as it was in April last year - I still have those documents.

        Last week I get an email stating that I had consumed 80% of my download limit of 30GB and that if I cross it, my speed would be brought down to 256Kbps.

        The usual calls to 121/198 began all over again and I was told that Airtel had discontinued my plan and the new 1699 Plan was a benefit for customers at double the speed of 2Mbps which they had automatically upgraded me to. However, this plan has a cap of just 30GB with a reduction to a measly 256Kbps in case I crossed 30GB.

        Excellent! So, when they were getting extra money from me, they could not automatically upgrade my Plan to the new cheaper one without my request, but when it comes to a Plan which gives me more speed with more restrictions they are free to downgrade my Plan and disguise it as giving me the benefit of double the speed.

        Also, suddenly, the feasibility and last mile problem seems to have been solved automatically to give me double the speed but with hidden restrictions that are completely unfair by any standards of corporate ethics or even simple customer service.

        After several calls to customer care and the usual attempted calls to nodal officers who NEVER pick up the phone, I was promised by customer care that my Plan would remain the same as the one I had taken.

        However today I get an email saying I have crossed my limit and my speed has been brought down to 256Kbps!

        As a 10 year old customer who has recommended Airtel to several of my friends in both Delhi and Bangalore, I have now started actively looking for other ISP options and I will never recommend Airtel to anybody ever again...

        I have no idea who comes up with these brainwaves in Airtel but I can assure you that despite his MBA degree, he has no idea how to retain customers or keep them satisfied.

        I was assured by some customer care senior executive today that they would revert me to my original Plan of 1Mbps with downgrading to 512kbps after the limit of 100GB. When? Who knows? Who knows if anything will change until I actually change my ISP!

        My download speeds have crashed to 256Kbps on Happy Holi.

        Thank you Airtel for your complete arrogance and lack of concern for your customers.

          This is just to bring into your kind notice that Unfortunately I am a customer/subscriber of your “AirTEL Cellular” Today undersigned has personally visited to one of AIRTEL RELATIONSHIP CENTRE (M/s S S D N Enterprises ,G-1,DDA Bldg.,20, Nehru Place, Delhi-19) to pay my due bills for last months. After a long queue When I reached at Payment Counter, one gentleman told me CARD PAYMENT is not possible. Immediately I rushed towards ATM & came back with CASH, again waited approx 30 Minutes in queue to make payment. Finally when I asked/suggested/requested them to form additional counter for customers as waiting time/queue time was approximately 30 minutes (with Low cooling AC & no drinking water facilities). Unfortunately they misbehaved with me & clearly told me to go & do complaint whatever/wherever I want as they are not making profit from AirTEL. I felt very bad & pity on your future that in such a competitive environment when you are spending too much on Advertising perusing your customers to use/bond with you for forever then How you can give franchise to such Unprofessional person/agency..

          Now as anyone can feel, “AirTEL” enjoys an outstanding reputation only. Our present experience has rudely shaken our trust in your esteemed company. As a loyal customer, our family/friends has subscribed at various stages. The incident is nothing short of a fraud perpetrated on us..

          Your response should reach us in a week's time failing which we shall be constrained to use other avenues to seek redressal because It appears “AirTEL” is just not bothered to address my complaint. It’s just not possible to believe that AirTEL behave this way.

          Please revert per return “Else I will have to spread your Service feedback among our well wishers” as well as “will go to meet MR SUNIL BHARTI MITTAL for my rights” as our offices are in same building because I know about the service Industry as I am also working in Customer Service Industry


          As well as at this juncture, I must give you some feedbacks about the less no of BILLING COUNTERS ,as I always use to struggle just to locate & pay my bills. As you know very well that In this current era we all are running short of enough time to go physically, just to pay the Bills. So your company should have some Collection Executives or should have opened Some More Counters for the same purpose..!!

          I have purchased a new duplicate sim on dated 21st May 2012 from Nehru Place customer relationship office and they told me that it will be activate after 24 hrs. but today is 4th june 2012 (14 days). but still my new duplicate sim is not activate. when i try to make a call so there is flash a message that "Error in Connection". when i have contacted to customer care of Airtel so they told me that i have to contact to that customer support office where i purchased it. But i have allready submited all the forms and documents which they demand.

          I have already taken a full day leave from my office for purchase a new duplicate sim now i cant take another leave for this matter.

            It has been observed from last few days that the numbers which I am calling from my airtel mobile no. [protected] has been hacked by other person. this is such a impossible thing which I thaught before. but after getting call from unknown person to those whom I called maximum, I am now confirm that somebody is getting my call list through other resources.

            The person is getting all the details of myself which I have given as a document to purchase the mobile phone.

            Please look after the issue.

                AIRTEL 3G Data Card - Speed was mentioned as 7.2 MBPS at the time of purchase but i am able to get only 60 ~ 70 KBPS, also i am not able to get in touch with customer care for 3G Data Card.

                I'm planning to buy Airtel USB modem but I'm seeing a lot of complaints. My concern is you are saying the modem can give upto 7.2Mbps, so we are expecting at-least half of its speed. If this cannot be achieved is there any provision to reduce the bill amount or cancel the bills to customers until the speed issue is resolved ?

                  Gone those days when Airtel used to be one of the best service provide & customer relationship company.

                  I have taken 2 airtel digital TV connection, and it out of service since one week becouse of the no signal, instead of the timely raising the complaint & doing the repeated follow up there has been no progress on the issue, every time there is just a false commitment. Also surprisingly airtel has blocked my customer id to abondoned my call when every I reach callcenter people on [protected] or toll free 12150. Its a new strategy followed by airtel to escape the call from customers whoose issues has been pending since long.

                  Because of the all these made a resolution to switch to other service provider and seeking the disconnection & refund of the amount I have paid upfront.

                    I am Aditya Pasalapudi and we have an airtel broad band connection with phone number [protected]. Our billing cycle starts from 5th of every month and we have a usage limit of 25Gb. This month on March 8th I received a mail saying that we crossed 25 Gb of our usage limit. We are surprised to see that mail , as we have not used 25Gb of data. From March 8th we are receiving a speed of 400kbps and sometimes even less than that. On March 15th we saw the unbilled details in our user account and we are surprised to see that we have used only 9.5Gb till March 15. So immediately we raised a complaint[44172012 ] to airtel asking them to verify our usage and to provide the full bandwidth. They never responded to me back till today. I called them 4 times after that to check the status of the complaint and they never gave any update on that, simply they told me that i have to wait till 23 march to get resolved. Why should I wait till 23 March ? So we thought of disconnecting the connection and called again to customer care to do that. During the process they used to disconnect the line in between. They disconnected my line 3 times. Finally I am fed up with the connection, I am filing this complaint to aware other to check their usage details as airtel is cheating customers by limiting their bandwidth.

                        Before 6 month I am using Nokia 3110c and in that I have activated mCheck. Then after I changed mo mobile handset to Samsung GURU it give long battery life, but because Airtel's mCheck service frequently asks to activate and just because of this I have to charge my mobile battery everyday....

                          I put a top up of Rs 110 denomination ( TRANSACTION ID [protected] on 19th march 2011 night .but due to ignorance of the stupid retailer who is running the shop in chennai. My 110 has gone to booster pack. this was not told by the retailer but ny airtel customer care which i checked with them. Rs. 110 has been utilized as a booster pack rather to make top up.hence I request to revert it

                          Rs 110 as booster pack not as top up. from which date? this question is also askedby the retaler. because he does not know. then why airtel has not told this to the retailer??????????????
                          when I asked the retailer he told for 110 the talk time may be of Rs 96 but when this incident has happend the retailer says that the customer should also be aware of this . my question is the retailer should guide us properly for my 110 rs he will will be also getting some money. then what for he is sitting there?????

                            Airtel — Thinking that nobody can't do anything

                            My friend,pranai told me to recharge 98 (which is related to internet) to his mobile no [protected] .
                            I went to a retail outlet i recharged ,the retailer without knowingly recharged with the same amount.What happened is , actually with 98 amount there is no recharge exists,the actual recharge is of 94.
                            He didn't get single rupee balance or internet recharge.He told me about this.Then i called to customer care 121.They told me that not to worry just go to retailer and tell to cancel the transaction and get the problem solved.
                            I went to retailer and asked him to cancel the transaction.He called to know the procedure to airtel CC.He said this is not possible.Then i talked with retailer customer care executive they simply told me cancellation is not possible.

                            I had given money to retailer for recharge.

                              I have been an airtel DTH customer for more than a year now. My customer id is [protected]. I would like to bring out the pathetic customer care service provided by Airtel DTH.

                              ***IF YOU ARE LOOKING FOR A DTH SERVICE PROVIDER, PLEASE DO NOT OPT FOR AIRTEL AS THEIR SERVICE IS THE WORST I HAVE SEEN IN ANY SERVICE INDUSTRY IN INDIA.***

                              1) Their call routing system is from stone-age. Most of the times, the call to customer care does not get routed to technical personnel, it gets abruptly disconnected after pressing the desired options.
                              2) After 4-5 tries, if you are able to get thru to someone, then the person just listens to you and does not even know how to speak proper english. Believe me, I have spoken to atleast 10-15 so-called 'customer care executives' till date and very few of them speak proper english.
                              3) On top of that, most of the time the cc executives just cut you off. This is the most frustrating part of the whole story. The moment they feel that you are a tough customer or then can't solve our issue, they disconnect the call.
                              4) Supervisors are no better either. Though they speak fairly well, they blatantly lie on your face and cuts you off if they are not able to resolve the issue.
                              5) For any issue, without checking the issue, the plain SLA for closure is 3:30PM EST next day, which is never met.
                              6) IT'S THE LEAST RELIABLE. EXACTLY ON IMPORTANT DAYS IT WILL GO OFF AND CUSTOMER CARE GUYS WILL TAKE WEEKS TO FIX THIS ISSUE. LAST TWO TIMES IT WENT OFF WAS FOR FOOTBALL WORLD CUP FINAL LAST YEAR, AND IPL SEMI AND FINAL LAST YEAR. NOW ITS CRICKET WORLD CUP AND ITS AGAIN DOWN!!!

                              Now coming to my latest issue -
                              1) My Set top box started showing weird errors for past one week and I had to keep resetting it multiple times as instructed by customer care everyday for it to work properly.
                              2) On 14th March, some of the channels were showing some error and I got the account refreshed thru th customer care ( as usual after multiple tries) and the cc guy told me the issue will be resolved in 30 minuts
                              2) It did not get resolved, and on 15th March, it just stopped working and LED started flashing red and green lights, it just wouldn't boot up. I raised a customer complaint and they again tried to troubleshoot it online to no avail.
                              3) I called the cc again after their normal refresh/wait time, and they put in a request for the engineer to visit home.
                              4) Next day I took a leave from office and waited at home, no one turned up! And throughout the day, customer care number was not reachable!!! Absolutely ridiculous!!
                              5) Next day, on 17th I again tried to reach customer care guys and same old way, the person on support was giving me next day 3:30pm SLA and I insisted on talking to a supervisor. Supervisor (Sachin - Indore customer care center) and he raised a complaint on behalf of me (No. 6100757) and did not know why the technical service guys did not turn up. He put me on hold for 1.5 hours and finally assured me that the issue will be right away resolved, and tech support will come within 8PM.
                              6) No one showed up and I just wanted to throw the STB away and switch to some other service provider. But Sachin told me that they were busy with some other work and they would come by next day 12PM to the max.
                              7) Noone turned up (Assigned support center guys were Mutthiah Enterprises - [protected]) and I had to call them up and finally they reached home by 6:30pm today (19th Mar 11) .
                              8) They brought a repaired STB for replacement and foolishly tried to convince me that its a new piece. From the looks, it was very roughly used, with no paint on it and looking like a metal crap piece. (The funny part here is: YOU HAVE TO GIVE 350+100=450 Rs WHEN YOUR STB STOPS WORKING. AND THEN THEY GIVE YOU A REPAIRED STB WITH NO GUARANTEE. IF IT STOPS WORKING AGAIN, THEN THEY WILL GIVE YOU ANOTHER CRAP PIECE WHICH MAY AGAIN STOP WORKING NEXT DAY - BUT THEY WILL KEEP ON CHARGING YOU!! NICE HUH!!)
                              9) Now starts the real torture story! These guys asked me recharge my account online and then they would activate the STB-ViewCard pair. They immediately left without waiting for me recharge the account online. They were not ready to take money and insisted on online recharge.
                              10) As the pathetic online portal airtel has ( I don't know which company maintains Airtel's online portal. Out of 10 times that you try to login, it will let you login only 4 times, otherwise will throw stupid 404 errors or some java exceptions! Out of the 4 times you were able to login, your payment will fail 3 times and if you are lucky it may go thru finally, but your credit card would be charged 4 times!!!)
                              11) I did a recharge and started calling customer care, and have called them atleast 10-15 times since then.. These guys just give contradicing information and blatantly lie on your face. I spoke to many people named Ankit, Soni, Supervisors name Rahul ( He just disconnected my call) Jitendra, Hidayat Khan.. none of them are able to solve the issue.
                              12) Some say hardware engineer will come and pair the viewcard and STB onsite. How stupid!!
                              13) Some of them asked for another day for resolution. Some was so arrogant and just disconnected the call.
                              14) So I am finally throwing away my STB and switching to another service provider. Unnecessarily I recharged for anothr 1000 Re today and I would rather let it go than spending unproductive time and building up frustrations on a pathetic product/service line like airtel,
                              15) I am also switching away from Airtel mobile numbers that my family has including wife, dad and mom. I'm not going to take any airtel products in future!!

                                My customer id is [protected]. In the month of February 2011, I have logged a complaint for Set top box not working. Complaint no.5350313. One of your agent Vishnu(mob no-[protected]) came at my place, took visiting charge of 100 rupees and went back saying need to change the set top box. It usually not available at the service station, i have to order it from head office. 8 days had gone, he did't came back. Then I logged new complaint 5693772. One more agent Vishal-mob no-[protected] had came to my palce, was trying to sort out the problem. Next day he came with set top box and changed it. From next day set box is passing current from it. Now when i am calling him to work it out. He is on leave. Now today the so called new set top box has stopped working and not at all getting operated by remote. Again I have ordered for new remote also, and this box is also not working by new remote. One of your technician did came to my place to see what is the problem. They have said set box is not responding, need to change and it is risky to operate as its passing current. When I was trying to call your local service center on [protected], nobody is picking up the call. I have never seen such a cheap cutomer service with any company.                                 Dish TV — DISH TV Customer Service

                                Hi Friends,

                                Please don't go for Dish TV product...u will face a bad Customer Service support.
                                I am facing the service problem with them...

                                1. Very bad communication with the CC people/agent.
                                2. No product knowledge.
                                3. No respect on there communication
                                4. No on-time support / service
                                5. Bad technical trouble shooting skills..

                                if i want to say in one word.."No Professionalism".... Don't concentrate on Sharuk Khan new adds ..please concentrate on Customer service too..

                                  HI ,I am receiving links to vulgar sites.This is happpening daily five to six times and I am getting embarrased for this.This is a very serious issue as it's causing lots of trouble to me.If this is not addressed quickly ,I may choose to switch to other telecom service provider.Following are my details:-

                                    I HAVE AIRTEL CONNECTION. EVEN WITHOUT SUBSCRIBING FOR VALUE ADDED SERVICES LIKE FRIEND FINDER, HELLO TUNES, CALLER TUNES
                                    ETC., CHARGES ARE BEING DEDUCTED FROM MY BALANCE AND I RECEIVE A MSG FOR AMT HAS BEEN DEDUCTED FOR SO AND SO SERVICE. IT IS NOTHING BUT DAY LIGHT ROBBERY BY THE AIRTEL COMPANY. BECVAUSE OF THIS PROBLEM I CHANGED MY EARLIER SIM TO THE PRESENT SIM. MY NO.IS [protected]. ONCE I WAS REFUNDED
                                    THE AMOUNT BY THE COMPANY GIVING THE REASON THAT THERE
                                    MIGHT BE TECHNICAL PROBLEM. BUT I CAME TO KNOW FROM MY OTHER FRIENDS THAT THEY ARE ALSO VICTIMS OF THIS TYPE OF DEDUCTIONS BY AIRTEL. BEING SUCVH A BIG SERBVICE PROVIDER, THE COMPANY SHOULD NOT INDULGE IN THIS TYPE OF CHEATING/DAY LIGHT ROBBERY WITH ITS CUSTOMERS. WHATEVER DEDUCTIONS THAT HAVE BEEN DONE IN MY A/C SO FAR FOR THESE VALUE ADDED SERVICES SHOULD BE REFUNDED TO MY A/C BY THE COMPANY.....WILL THE COMPANY SEE THIS COMPLAINT OR WILL IT BE RESOLVED TO MY SATISFACTION?

                                    By mere showing lip sympathy by the Airtel will not solve my problem. Will the Airtel refund all the deductions made in my a/c.?

                                      airtel doesnt provides good services doent give any notification of anything and above all whenever i try to contact customer care the computer operater gives insturctions and disconnects the phone.i am fed up from airtel its the worst operator i regret i switched on to airtel before that i never had any problem.and secondly the trai rule is really horrible.it has more disadvantages than advantages especially for students, how can 100 sms is enough for 1day?those who dnt have balance are dependant on sms pack and this rule is being a big problem.plz stop this rule noone is in favour of it.rather put restictions on marketers advertisements only.atleast 300 sms are needed per day. plz listen to my complaint. thank you.

Yet I constantly receive promo calls and messages from Airtel and various other numbers saying buy this, buy that... Please look in to the same and kindly get them to stop these promo calls and messages.

                                        I have to say I am very very dissapppointed with the way you have been handling my complaint. I did receive a call from your executive however I am yet to receive any resolution for the same. I have also emailed you the details from my gmail id and I can forrward you the email once again. Anyway why do i receive promo calls from your call center executives asking me to take new connection? The numbers are - [protected] & [protected]. Please advice me why I get promo calls from your call center executives asking me to take new airtel connections. This is not expected. the numbers for your reference are - [protected] &[protected]. Please provide me my national DND registry number as well urgently.

                                        Thanks for the response. This is to inform you that though the promo calls have stopped the messages have not. I am receiving messages from 2 -3 numbers and the tele marketer is smart enough to use a different number every time. The numbers are +[protected], [protected], [protected]- for purchase of la mod power saver and [protected] for sightseeing tours from 360' himalayan & +[protected] for sightseeing from Jetair tours.
