Dear sir,

Please look into this matter. I am completely stunned with the response that i recieved from Airtel. I am not ready to pay this amount and I am very disappointed with the service I m getting call regularly regarding this. Please guide me what i can do. They are not ready to listen recording when their representative commited fake details for which i have charged. Hope i will get satisfactory response from your side.

I am airtel mobile service user of above mentioned mobile number: [protected]. I
am very gunuine with Airtel and was using airtel happily and i did not make any
default in payment of airtel bill. I am using this number from more then 2 yr.
This is my first bad experience with airtel and have faith that my problem will
get resolved. Problem is mentioned below:

* On 5 March 2011 I got an sms from AIRTEL REGARING Airtel 3 g service. I got
exited and called up airtel customer care representative Named MR VIVEK
intraction id is[protected] regarding this. They give me detail of schemes i
opted for 200 rs scheme of 3g in which i was offered 200 mb usage i said ok.
But i told that i am already using gprs service of airtel of Rs 98/- with the
usage limit of 2 gb download and unlimited usage. they suggested me that not to
deactivate that service also. when you want to good speed then choose option
dual mode on your network mode and for basic use you can choose gprs by
selecting gsm mode. On dual mode you will get 250 mb usage and with gsm mode
you will divert to gprs mode with 98 rs worth.

Then i activated 3 g service worth 200 rs and gprs worth 98.. and use the same
on my daily usage. I have nt used 3g service for more then 50 mb usage. I
basically use gprs connection.
after 10 day i got an sms that i have crossed my limit of 3100. i got worried
and called up your customer care and talked with Jatin sharma dated 17 march 11
and intraction id is[protected] i which i was told that there was no such
scheme. he informed me that i cant use both service of gprs and 3g
simaltonously. and i was charged as per 3g tarrif rate.
I told them immidiatelly to take some action regarding miscommitment done by
your representative and i told them that to activate my previous 98 rs
unlimited connection they told me that scheme is vanished from airtel. I am a
sales guy and i need internet connection thats y i activated 198 connection for
same 2 gb usage.

on 23 march 11 i again got an sms that my usage is approx 5100. again i talked
with Manju and intraction id is[protected] in which i explained each thing to
them they told me to be patiece and we will cut down the charges which is
included in my bill but let the bill generate first. Yesterday i got sms
regarding bill payment of 10600/-.
I want a complete solution.


QUESTION : why should i charge 10000 when my credit limit is 3100/-?

QUESTION : Why should i pay this amount when the fault is on your customer care
persons behalf.?



QUESTION : What is my fault.

Question : Why should i pay 198 for same usage which i previously paying rs 98
only?


Please take some action and suggest some solution as early as possble. I will
not pay my bill unless it get resolved.

    I opted for MNP, leaving Airtel and joining BSNL, probably Jan 22, 2011. My mobile number was ported out and it worked from Jan 24, 2011. I had given dues upto Jan 24, 2011 to airtel.

    First to my surprise, airtel didn't disconnected the number after Jan 24, 2011. Both the SIMs continued to work both way : outgoing and incoming. I made frantic calls to clear the picture and status of my number to Airtel for nothing. BSNL was also unable to spell out the exact status. But both of the SIMs continued to work. I could receive and make calls from both SIMs, meaning that both of the service providers were running my number. It was clear to me that a big billing problem is going to happen for me.

    Now after two months in BSNL, BSNL disconnected my phone number. When contacted, they said that I have dues with Airtel. When contacted to Aittel, they demanded Rs 124 for a period Jan 24, 2011 to Feb 9, 2011, with out any mobile bill for this period.

    Whereas I had bill from BSNL for the same period (Jan 24, 2011 to Feb 6, 2011 and Feb 7 to March 6, 2011), which was deposited with BSNL. Left without mobile connectivity, I had to just deposit Rs. 124 with Aitel. That too Aittel provided nothing at the time of deposit, that this is your last bill, nothing is pending against me, or the bill print/email of this period.

    Now my question is, is that possible under MNP, that a mobile number can attract two bills for the same period of time? Isn't that a fault of the company arranging the MNP service. Why dues of a company are not reflected to the other service provider at the time of porting. And the companies are just blindly stopping and making difficult for the customers this MNP facility.

    Should I leave this forum and go to a forum advising me on how to file a complaint in consume court? please

    1. unable to resolve any issue
    2. didn't contacted through mail as you said in you email that with in 10 days...
    3. no phone call from your office (which never come on the records of the customer to be useful in appellate authority of Airtel, then TRAI Public grievance cell, then proceedings of the court of law!
    4. Unable to send the mobile bill for the said period through mail, I understand that if you cannot produce the bill for the period in question, your are hiding the facts.
    and other matters related to the overlapping bill.

    Please reply point-wise. I am attaching the mail which I got from customer care.

    I ported out from airtel under MNP in January 2011 w.e.f from Jan 24, 2011.
    Mobile # [protected] Punjab circle)

    I am now customer of BSNL, and I have been billed from Jan 24, 2011 onwards. (I
    am in possession of the bills from Jan 24, 2011 onwards).

    Your company has called me up for non payment of outstanding bill for period of
    Jan 23, 2011 to Feb 8, 2011?

    Clearly this is a overlapping period as regard to a single mobile number,
    attracting bills from two sources. Now I understand that you have asked BSNL to
    stop/withhold the mobile services to my number([protected]) for non payment of
    pending bill. My mobile number is out of service since April 1, 2011.

    I would request you to

    1. Look into the matter for the overlapping period of billing period.

    2. In the records of BSNL I am their customer from Jan 24, 2011, whereas you
    claim that I am your customer upto Feb 8, 2011? Is that possible for a single
    mobile number and be in service of two service provider?

    3. Your stand on claiming bills and directing for this overlapping for
    withholding mobile services from my current service provider is totally
    unwarranted, and regrettable and shall attract justification.

    4. You have not sent me the mobile bill through email or otherwise for the
    period Jan 23, 2011 to Feb 8, 2011. Your outlets and call centres are unable to
    mail this bill to my email or give me in print?

    5. If I am paying the outstanding bill, which I was told yesterday is Rs
    125.00, shall be under protest and refundable if the Consumer Court direct you
    to do so.

    6. Your attempt of asking/directing BSNL for withholding/discontinuing mobile
    services has caused me lot inconvenience and BSNL is equally responsible to not
    verifying all the facts for billing with the previous service provider(Airtel).

    7. At the time of porting out I clearly understood that you were not
    comfortable for your customer who intended to port out from your service. As a
    proof please check my frantic calls to 121 during that period, and your calls
    to me offering lot many services.

    8. Please share billing period information and required dues with BSNL and
    inform me so that BSNL do not stop my mobile services at your incomplete and
    unjustified information.

      Airtel Recharge Scam

      Airtel Details Scam.

      I recently recharged my mobile with 200 Rs and i got only 1 Rs at the time of recharge. After a Day it says my 3G is activated. I asked about the talktime i got ie 1 Rs, the retailers answers Ridiculously, " DID I CALL YOU TO COME AND RECHARGE WITH ME" infact i went inside his shop seeing Airtel Logo and a Sign Board which read AIRTEL.

      So is this the way to talk and provide service....

      My mobile number-[protected]

      I was receiving lots of promotional messages and being charged for these messages everyday. Then I activated DND through airtel website and got this message:

      "Your DND preference has been changed to fully blocked. Your registration number is S[protected]."

      Still money was getting deducted from my mobile then I called airtel customer care service on 30th March 2011 (request reference no: CDRGP[protected]) and spoke to Customer Support person “Sonal”. I explained my problem to her and also informed that just now I received a message (“Comedy Zone will be renewed in 2 days and will be charged 10 Rs for 10 min”) for which I haven’t subscribed. She deactivated Comedy Zone service and said I will register you complaint and assured that now onwards no money will get deducted from your mobile for any such kind of messages.

      But still my problem was not solved and my money deducted from 58.14 Rs to 56.14 Rs. Again I called airtel customer care on 1st April 2011 (request reference no: CBDPA[protected]) and this time Deepak has attended my call. After explaining him my problem he said you will have to send one SMS saying STOP and said some number. I said, “I will not do anything from my end since I have already registered for DND and have spoken to your customer support “Sonal” and got assurance that money will not be deducted from my mobile”. I told him that I am really fed up of all these things and I can not call again and again and send messages to stop services which I never subscribed for. Now it should be your responsibility to take some action and deactivate all these false subscriptions for which I am unnecessarily getting charged.

      After dropping the call…WHAT HAPPENED WAS UNBELIEVABLE......

      Continuously I received these messages:
      • Thank you for choosing astrology. Listen 20 min prediction for 20 days at 20 Rs.
      • Thank you for subscribing airtel radio. You have been charged 20 Rs.
      • Your friend chat id is 3421641. You have been charged Rs 20.
      • Thank you for choosing hello Tunes. You have been charged Rs30 for 30 days.
      • Thank you for choosing missed call alter service. You have been charged 15Rs for 30 days.

      And the whole amount got deducted from my mobile, currently my balance is: Minus 10 Rs.

      OH MY GOD … DID “DEEPAK” ACTIVATE ALL THESE NONSENSE SERVICES FOR MY MOBILE NUMBER?? THIS WAS REALLY PATHETIC AND HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE. I HAVE NEVER SEEN SUCH KIND OF RESPONSE/SERVICES. FIRST YOU EXPECT CUSTOMER TO CALL ON CUSTOMER CARE IF THEY HAVE ANY COMPLAINTS AND WHEN WE COMPLAINT WE GET THIS KIND OF RESPONSE FROM YOUR SUPPORT TEAM. I WANT ANSWER AND MY MONEY BACK.

      Airtel Prepaid — Deduction of Charges automatically from the Balance.

      Dear Sir/Madam,

      Inspite of several complaints to the "Airtel Call Centres", I am facing problems of deductions of charges of VAS Download. It was earlier used by me. As confirmed with "Airtel Customer Care" that there are some deduction of charges due to "Other Websites" which are being opened at the time o[censored]se.

      The Charges which are being deducted is due to packs which are activated such gcclub.com. I complained about the same to the customer care, but also these charges being deducted without any intimation.

      Request you to return back my deducted amount from the Mobile Service Providers.

      If the same continues, I shall request all readers of such complaints to switch on other service providers. As they provide better facilities with better rates. They don't also cheat the customers for the unnecessary deductions which are being done by "Airtel Prepaid".

      Awaiitng for an Positive revert on the same.

      I am a user of Airtel Prepaid Mobile service. Every 15 days I am getting sms on my mobile that Rs 30/ or Rs 10 will be deducted from my mobile balance last message being received by me on 5th of December stating that "Your News service will be renewed in 3 days. Renewal charges Rs10/10 days." from service call cerntre 555630. or bolly services subscription.

      For that I have to go personally to the airtel office at Ashram road under sr no 51 Ahmedabad to deactivate the subscription. Today after really getting tired with the services from airtel office I wanted to meet the senior person to know the procedures for deducting the amount wihtout giving knowledge to the customer. (Also if I want to talk to them throught my mobile we have to deduct .50 paise or some amount per second to talk to them ) I have been informed that there is no senior person and I have to wait in que as per number given in a chit.

      Sir, I am an office goer and its not possible to sit for hours together. If this is the way they take money then its better to stop the services and use the other services.

      You are therefore requested to go through this content and take proper action against the service people so that without my consent the airtel should not activate any servuces to my mobile as the money which we are paying are hard earned money.

      I sent a mail to airtel email customer care service and got immediate response and solution to my above mentioned problem. I also got my money back and all the unnecessary subscriptions are deactivated. Appreciate their Email Customer Care service.
      The same thing happened to me also...money deducted for comedy zone...which i never subscribed for...activated DND last week.
      lodged a complaint to ..and a cc to mr Rakesh Ranga. let's see what airtel can do.
      Hi all sent a mail. to the customer care and got back my money..didn't expected that actions would be taken so fast...hats off to airtel customer care...

          This is my 3rd complain regarding the issue i am facing of not getting the promised data download of 50 gb at 4mbps speed as per my plan of impatience 1799.As per my broadband data download plan i was promised 50 gb data download at 4mbps of speed and unlimited download at 256 kbps after 50 gb of data download but i got 40 gb of data download at 4mbps,I have complained 2 times before this through emails but nothing is being done regarding my complain.I am very much dissapointed with the kind of services i am getting.
          By looking at this i feel that BHARTI AIRTEL LTD just know how to cheat their customers.

            Sir,

            This is to inform you that I am using two airtel mobile service for last three years. But recently when I contact customer-care from these two No; (given below) for asking some problem through dialling 121 and 198, I can't access to them. I dialled from another airtel mobile and telling my problem to customer-care. They say's with in few days your problem will solve. I contact airtel office in Kadavanthra, Kochin. They mailed to chennai office about my problem. Too many messages are getting in my mobile from customer-care, telling your IVRP is working fine. Even for last three week I can't acces to customer-care. I think they are cheating me

            I am also facing same problem. What I understood when I contacted Cochin office is that if you make few calls to the customer care they will stop this service and all your attempt to contact customer care will end up in hearing a automated message.

                my name is lijas mohd ali. I have been using one of the best network providers called Airtel. It was a good service provider in the past but now a days airtel people are not upto an average service provider. They went below average. So i am not satisfy with airtel now because i am not gettting good offers and good service.infact i am expecting an offer because all othernetwork providers are giving attractive offers like that i do need to get it from your part.

                i want airtrl to airtel 10 paise
                airtel to other 30p
                outside kerala 50p

                if i get an offer like this i will contiinue airtel otherwise i will change into some other network provider. I am waiting for your reply

                  Respected Sir,
                  I have gone for an installation of Airtel DTH HD Connection. The installation guy name Pawan Kuma gave me a receipt No. 1222 of Rs. 150. According to him Airtel Provided 2 Connector free of cost. One will be attached to the back of Airtel Digital Box and other to the antenna which is installed on the terrace. What he told me is that he has installed 3 extra on the terrace, so I have to pay him Rs 150.
                  My wife did pay him. Later, after coming back to home, I could not find any extra connector. I made a complain to airtel, complain no. 565980.
                  Its almost a month, whenever I call them regarding this, the line gets disconnected. Further, according to one of the call center person, this case was closed for no reason. By the time I request them to reopen, the line got disconnected again. Every time I complain regarding line disconnection, all they say is sorry. and as soon as I inform about my problem . The line gets disconnected. This is clean cheating. I dont know with how many of them they are doing this. Not all people are technical and check all these things.

                    Hello Sir,
                    Despite repeated complaints, speaking to the call center supervisors for activation of BIS 399 for my mobile number [protected](Chennai) since 21st of March 2011 to till date and spending over Rs.100 on those calls , i am still not able to access MOBILE OFFICE SERVIES on my Blackberry.
                    Everytime I make a call to the helpline, I get an assurance that the service
                    will be activated within sometime, or a maximum of 24 hours, and advise me follow the below procedure.

                    Though i try the below procedure repeatedly for every 24hours, neither balance deducted nor the service activated.

                    SMS <BIS 9300> 121

                    i receive the following sms from Airtel
                    "Your request for BI has been registered with us. Thank You.
                    "Dear Customer, We already have a provisioning request under processing. Please wait while we process your request."

                    Airtel GSM Services — Unable to acess Mobile OfFice service

                      Sub: No Response from Airtel DTH to align the Dish to get new Channels.


                      My Complaints regarding new HD and Regional channels. I'm calling customer care from last 15 days to recify my problem. They have rasied 2

                      Service Requests SR#6326524 (Open from 10 days), SR#6548275 ( Open from last 3 days). I'm getting SMS from Airtel as this request will complete within 24

                      hours.I also got one Mobile number of their service executive in that SMS. If I call that execitive he is simply replying that I'm not working in that area

                      contact customer care. If I call again customer care they will say it will be sovled in 30mins/2 hours/one day...playing like anything. But I'm not able to see new channels & getting any call from Airtel executive to resolve this problem.

                      I have activated and paying money for HD pack (NGC HD, Discovery HD, Movies Now HD) and not able to watch activated HD channels. I'm getting error SM1 for

                      Movies Now HD and Discovery HD) & also for new Regional Channels Sakshi TV, TV5, Bhakthi TV. They need to realign the dish to new satellite to get these

                      channels.

                      I'm not getting any reply from them and really really fraustratued with this. I'm taking this as very serious issue. I'm the Airtel customer of Airtel

                      Broadband/Landline, Airtel HD DTH , Airtel Mobile.

                      I'm going to discontinue all the services from Airtel if this problem is not solved immediately and I will go for other Operators.

                      Airtel DTH HD — Component Video not working

                      Hi,
                      I have Aitel DTH HD Connection and i'm trying to connect my tv through Component Video Cable but it's not working(My Customer ID is: [protected]
                      Pls dont tell like this...Our area Service team (Bangalore- 560076) is not responding on this. I'm not getting any call from them. I'm fighting on the same issue from last 15 days. I need an immedialte resolution.
                      I'm trying to call to nodel officer from this morning, but its always busy...seems they kept the receiver away from the phone. seems they dont want to receive any calls from customers.

                      I'm getting some calls from North region (Noida/Delhi) asking about the resolution. But they also not able to do any thing.

                      I'm wondering, Airtel need to do any miracle to migrate my dish to new satellite ?

                      I was frustrated with your service. I'm the Airtel Customer of BroadBand, Mobile, LandLine & DTH.

                      This may be the last month to me to use all my Aitel Services (Broadband, Land Line, Mobile & DTH HD)

                      Please note that I have raised Service Requests SR#6326524 (Open from 15 days), SR#6548275 ( Open from last 7 days) to resolve the same issue.

                      I have opened this compliant in consumercomplaints.in on 3rd April. Even till today no one came to my home to resolve this issue. Also nodal officer number is alwasy busy ( intentionally making it busy ).

                      I need the correct date and time for the resolution. I'm waiting here for morethan 15 days. I'm paying the money for new channels without watching. Requesting you to understand me.
                      My Airtel DTH HD CustID:[protected], I have rasied complaints about satellite migration nearly 18 days back i. e on 26th March'11 (SR#6326524). Again raised one more request on 1st april'11 (SR#6548275) for the same.

                      You people are saying today, tomorrw to solve the issue. Please let me know howmany days it will take for the satellite migration. Its hardly 15 mins job. I dont know why you people are taking so much time to resolve this issue.

                      Also no response from our area service engineers (commmunications network, mobile :[protected]).

                      And our Nodal Offer phone numebr is always keeping busy intensionally[protected]. Receiver kept away from the phone.

                      I'm paying t he money for HD channels without watching...I'm treating this as very serious issue.

                      Finally Airtel DTH Team did the Satellite migration. They charged Rs.100 for service charge as I have raised this request in 6th month (mar'11) of my Airtel DTH Connection. They came now in 7th month (April'11) saying your 6th month worranty is comepleted so you have to pay Rs.100.

                      So I paid that amount for their service...But I told those service enigineers as I'm not getting good singnal from SES7 Setellite while doing the migration. I'm getting the Signal Strength 60% only. So Now my HD Channels clarity is not good and they are looking like normal channels.I have seen excellent HD picture quality with INSAT satellilte.

                      They are telling that for HD box we will not get more than 60% Strength. So is this the real picture clarity Aitel DTH is giving ? or this is the problem with SES7 satellite ?

                      Dear Airtel presense,

                      Finally, after one month fight Airtel DTH Service engineer came to my home and did satellite migration. After that I'm getting poor Singnal Strength ( Its 55% to 60 % max) . Due to this I'm getting poor HD channels. Clarity is like SD channels. There is not much difference between HD and SD channels here.

                      I requested service engineer to look for improvement of the signal strength. But he told This is the MAX Singnal strength you can get in HD Box.

                      I think for this kind of HD clarity no need to go for HD STB.

                      Please confirm if 60 % is the maximum Signal strength is possible in Aitel HD STB?????

                      else tell me the problem with your new satellite SES 7?

                      Finally Airtel Service Engineers charged Rs.100 to do this work. I'm not happy with this kind of poor HD quality. pls rectify this ASAP.

                      From today Starting 6:15am, I facing some other issue... All the new channels got deactivated. what t he hell is this ? Only for this new channels I requested for the migration. I have activated these new channels (Sakshi TV, Bhakthi TV, TV5 & HD Pack [ NCG, Discovery&Movies Now] 5 days back after satellite migration.

                      From today there were deactivated and showing the error code 4. I have sufficient balance in my account. Requesting you to resolve this issue immediately.

                      Airtel DTH HD — Airtel DTH HD - Four Issues, after several complaints still suffering

                      I am Airtel DTH HD Customer ID[protected].

                      I have 4 Issues-
                      1.I Topped up Rs.2000 with My American express Credit Card & was deducted immediately from my card on 18th April 2010 7.20pm but it still didn't showed up to my online account.
                      2. When I bought it I subscribed Ultra pack for 1 year but it is still showing Sony mega Pack with validity till 4th June 2011... one month passed.
                      3.I was promised for Movies Now HD, still showing unsubscribed channel.
                      4.I want portion of that Rs.2000 to convert my Ultra pack to Super ultra pack...

                      I have complained several times but fake promises only so far.... Airtel DTH service SUCKS man...

                        Sir, My customers ID No. is [protected]. It is verymuch shameful for Airtel Digital TV corporators that I had lodged a request on 31st March 2011 to add a channel no. 297. Inspite of that again on 2nd I had filed a request stating that it is utmost urgent and immediately channel no. 297 should be added. Both the times customer care office told me that till the next day upto around 1630 hours your additional channel request will be resolved. Sir, My brother who is a journalist on live india channel no 297 is already in Bareilly and he is feeling uncomfortable if he doesnot go through channel no. 297 ie live india. He would be back on 5th of April 2011 to Mumbai. Your engineer called me up on 2nd April 2011 afternoon by his cell no. [protected] and told me that he would be coming in a short time. I explained him the address. By the way when he did not turned up, I again called him and asked him that why he had not turned up. He told me that within 2 hrs. he would come to my residence. After three hours I called up him again, whereas he told me that he has forgotten and will come any how before he goes to his home. When he didnot turned up I called up your office at Pune where they straight away told me that today they cannot add up new channel and I should have to wait up till tommorrow. On next day ie, today 3rd April I again called up to your pune office and tried to speak with your supervisor of call centre, where my call was not transferred to your supervisor and put on a long hold, I awaited for 10 minuted 35 seconds. Now it is already 12.55pm and my channel request has not been activated.
                        I bring to your kind notice that inspite of such negligency and irresponsibilities by Airtel Digitel TV I am very much mentally disturbed.
                        You are requested to take up the matter seriously.

                          I have a serious complaint to make.

                          I had filled in the promo offer form on the airtel website for digital tv April 1.
                          And, got a call from Ms Vriti Agency a DSA of Airtel. They even sent me a couple of
                          mails with the offers available.

                          A caller named Shantanu Vishwakarma promised digital TV installation by
                          12 Pm on April 2, but only if I made the payment instantly online. If NOT the money would be refunded.

                          That was my only condition for my opting for Digital TV that day.

                          I made a payment of Rs 3,950 online between 4 - 4:15 today and he
                          confirmed receipt verbally and gave me a number: 3322501. He also
                          promised to email me a confirmation receipt in 5 minutes.

                          He also gave me a number of Mr Manoj Saha (or Shah[protected]

                          I have called his number at least 10 times for the receipt and
                          he does not pick up the call.

                          I have also called the airtel help line number[protected] and NO ONE seems
                          to have an answer.

                          I also called 12150 and here as well have not got any concrete answer.

                          I got a confirmation SMS from Airtel at 8 PM on APRIL 1 that the engineer will be setting this up by 9:00 AM on April 2.

                          On the day of committed installation I waited till 10:00 and since no one called or came I called 12150 and registered a complaint. I was told that complaint had to be done with the ESCALATION DEPARTMENT. On speaking with them I got the complaint number [protected] and a confirmation that the installation would be done by 2:30 Pm.

                          The whole day passed, no one called or came and the installation did not happen.

                          And there's no response to the refund request as well. If Airtel could NOT LIVE UP TO THE COMMITEMENT why did they force sell for making a payment. This is total harrassment and fraud I would like to get the refund and penalty for robbing our family of watching the the world cup finals.

                          Thanks for posting the response Mr Ranga. But the only resolution for this is a full REFUND. Would like that completed ASAP. Just to update, I got at least 5 calls yesterday almost forcing for installation when I DO NOT WANT to install Digital TV. That is NOT a resolution.

                          Would appreciate if the telecalling harassment is STOPPED and the actual resolution which is a full REFUND is done. I had all good intentions for a long relationship. But if Airtel does not value customer relationships once the payment is made on a sale, I guess its the worst brand to go for.

                          After this experience, I am actually re thinking my relationship with Airtel on mobile services as well. For your information, I've been a Airtel Enterprise customer with reasonably high usage.

                          Just to update that nothings changed in the last 7 days. I've been getting calls for resolution and a promise to get the full refund back on my credit card within 7 days (this was not just a call but also a message last thursday which is a week back.) Everything but the refund is happening and I don't want to pay interest on credit card payments as a further harassment. This is NOT a Rs 100 or Rs 200 issue but Close to Rs 4, 000. KINDLY DO THE NEEDFUL.
                          Finally, the problem got resolved comprehensively. Thanks a lot. I was pleasantly surprised with the refund happening and also Airtel doing a great make good gesture. Thanks a lot guys at Airtel. I hope this level of service gets down to the field staff fast so that such problems don't happen.

                            company say us that u have a free airtel digital tv connection with tv.nd,
                            They also say u will set up dgtl connection anywhere in rajasthan. but after few days when we say for set up connection,they regurarly ignor us, so plez taking action against following compny distributers,

                              I had a vodafone connection [protected]. I ported in to airtel from vodafone on 14 feb 2011 in order to use friends and family service provided by airtel and in this regard I ported all my other numbers as well to airtel. But to my surprise I found that the IVR is not accepting non airtel series to the friends and family list. My repeated complaints to customer care went in vain. I then contacted the nodal officer [[protected]] who also couldn't solve the problem. Finally I approached the appellate authority [[protected]] and i'm still waiting for their response. It has been over 45 days now and the complaint is still on. Most disappointing point is that Airtel never cares back to reply the customers as to why is it getting delayed. Why didn't they get their systems updated before MNP implementation? and why cant they just manually add numbers to my FNF account? i request the concern authorities to take this seriously and help me out with this issue.

I got a Rs.62 message card put up on 25th of march and it suddenly stopped working on 30th of March, i sent a mail to airtelpresence via this website. The message card starting working on 31st March.                                   I have two issues.

                                  1. This is with regard to the customer service 121. i am unable to connect to customer service representative. i get to the point where the message says you will be charged an amount for this call and then asks me to confirm by selecting 1. After confirming this, the line simply gets disconnected.

                                  2. In addition i keep getting automatically renewed for some utility service called Games Club even after i have sent STOP sms to 121 and discontinued the service. this keeps getting renewed no matter what i do. i even tried to the balance in my account low. but the moment i recharge it automatically puts me for this subscription.

                                    I contact airtel digital tv through internet to install airtel digital cable tv into my home . they contact me on my mobile and ask me to submit 1690/- advance payment for airtel digital tv. they sent there representative
                                    to collect the advance amt. of Rs. 1690/- , i paid 1700/- and the agent has given me the receipt of receiving amount from harbans nagpal from Vrti Infocom pvt. ltd. till date no installation has been made. i had call them many times, they answered me we are sending our Representative to your house but nobody came.
                                    this harassment is last from 6 months.please registered my complaint and take strict action against them therefore in future they do not harass anyone else.

                                    Airtel DTH — Non Attendance of complaint

                                    I have been using Airtel DTH for about 2 years now. Recently I shifted to Lucknow. For the re-installation of the dish I called the customer care on 23rd Dec 2010 Ref #4862073. They told me that the person will visit me within next 2 hrs. After waiting for a day, I called them again(24th Dec 2010) and I was given a new Ref # 4874441 with the same old assurance of 2 hrs. Since then i have been calling them continuously for the past 3 days but the service has been dismal with no response. Every time I call them they ask for my new address.
                                    I request you to please resolve the complaint and do the needful.

I CONTACTED HELPLINE AND LODGED THE COMPLAINT.I RECEVIED COMPLAINT NUMBER 9049811 BY SMS WITH ASSURANCE OF ATTENDING TO THE COMPLAINT BY 11 AM THE NEXT DAY.TILL DATE THE FAULT PERSISTS AND FALSE PROMISES ARE GIVEN BY THE HELP LINE AND THE NODAL OFFICER.THE CONSUMERS ARE KEPT IN TOTAL DARKNESS. THE CALL CENTRES ARE OF NO HELP.
