I am a user of the Airtel prepaid service by the number [protected]. I never activated the 'Tadkalive' service, yet, hundreds of rupees have been deducted from my account. Please deactivate it and take strict measures as required.

Hi..
I have registered the complaint regarding the balance deduction because of tadka live service.
Last 4 times I got my money back and a message saying that the problem has been resolved and the service has been deactivated.
But this thing is happening again and agian.
Today again I got the message that tadka live fortnightly subscription is due on aug 11.
I called to airtel customer care but they don't know how to do their job.
I have Complaint numbers and the messages as a proof, And I want to go in consumer court If this doesn't gets resolved this time.

    Dear sir I m Bideshi Samantray My Airtel Mobile number [protected], Since last 24Hrs i m trying to call 198 tollfree customer care but no one is responding to my calls ,so if this will happen then tell me what we can do ?? do u think it will be better for us to visit always their show rooms without doing our duties and other works ,do this airtel think we r their servants????? We can also live without Mobile connections but we hav kept to be in contact with our loved one's so if this kind of customer care service airtel will continue then one day it will face a huge loss and it will loose its every good customers and now its a competitions market there are a lots of mobile operators they do provide better service from airtel,so its my suggestions to Airtel that i[censored] want to stay alive in today's market then stop harrashing ur customers otherwise people will not be looser the company will be looser,do u think by selling sim in low price will make u a good amounts of customers ,no never u will always be looser,bcs it is very easier to keep old customers than to make a new customers i[censored] provide good service no body will leave ur network and if this bad service remains to be continued then within no time u will have to close ur telecom and sell it to anybody mind it .

    I am Satya Prakash Singh. my mobile No. is [protected]. this is postpaid connection. on 25 th of April 2011, I got rs.198(3GB free) plan internet activated in this number. today my unbilled amount is rs. 2698. I am very care full about my call and internet use. this is too much amount than my use. let me know what should I do.
    If you can not solve my problem, I will disconnect your service.

    Airtel is Too Much Bad, Poor, Fraud, Liar, Unfaithful, Unbelievable, cheater & 3rd Class Mobile Service Provider.
    I also very much agree with Bideshi Samantray comments.
    I am Shalini from chennai.I tried for airtel customer care and i posted my complaint regarding sms booster pack activation but they didt solve my complaint.They told me to wait on the for the moment and then they disconnect my customer care line.Then later for 1 hour i tried for customer care i didt get any response.They cutted my line to customer care.

    Airtel is very very very very bad.Their service is also very very bad.
    Now its a competitions market there are a lots of mobile operators they do provide better and very good service from air-tel.So i am informing my friends, relatives, neighbors, colleagues and the viewers not to buy airtel sim cards and don't waste your money.
    my no [protected], 198 customer care no not responce, i have mcheck problum, AIRTEL DOES NOT ACCEPT TRANSACTIONS FROM YOUR MOBILE this msg willcome.pls check and clear the problum,
    It has been observed that everday Rs. 1/- has be deducted from my talktime recharge towards cricket alert, which was not instructed by me any time. I have already instructed to Airtel Complaint No. 198 for the same.

    I am sorry to inform you that no action has been taken from your side, it will force me to discontinue Airtel Services.

    Please look into the matter and do needful urgenlty.

    my no.[protected] activate on 24th August 3G service & recharge by 102Rs for internet use but from sevice provider not send setting message & also i don't know how network automatically gows on 3G network & automatically gows on 2G network. meanwhile when i used internet on 3G network but balance deducted from 2G( not from rechage plan of 102 Rs.). so balance deducted rapidly. one problem common problem with service that never cumminication with custmor care from mobile(121). i went 6 times show room to convey my problem.

      Dear Sir/Madam

      I refer to the complaint no: 44496826, Landline no:[protected]

      I wish to inform you that i am quite upset with your customer support and a "clueless & incompetent" technical team. Below is the narration of reasons as to why i am forced to describe airtel technical team as one.

      I called your customer care on 24th morning regarding "internet not working". they told me that they will be sending an engineer and nobody turned out on 24th. I had to call again on 24th evening to "remind" your customer care. they gave me a commitment that an engineer will be prvoided for rectifying the problem and that he will come to my house in the morning.

      Based on the commitment by your customer care, i laid off few important appointments for the sake of attending your field engineer during his visit. The engineer came to my house @ 1.30pm and to my surprise he literally came empty handed, ie without any tools or even a standby modem. To my surprise he did not even have a RJ45 patch cable to test. The engineer came and did some revamping of the modem through router page and it wasn't sucessful. He then said that he would come back after some time talking to his senior and left my home around 2.30. I waited for him to come back and indeed he did come back @ 4.30 again empty handed. I asked him if it was a router/modem problem and he said it could possibly be that only and tried to leave. I stopped him and asked him to install a stand-by modem and he said, his agency does not have any standby modem currently and that he would get it by 25th morning and do the installation (i am skipping the number of commitments made by the engineer on providing a stand by modem, since that would only make this mail lengthy without addressing the issue.) Please be informed that i am not making any complaints against the Field engineer Mr.lokesh who came to my house for rectifying the problem, as he tried his level best and he was competent enough to handle config problems. But the agency for which he works is just "crap"and that you must take the onus of appointing such crappy people as your support agents.

      on 25th afternoon he came back with a standby modem (Beetle 110X) which i suppose could have been picked up from trash bin as it looked just like a piece of garbage with so much of dust and scratches) He did all the things that he could do and to his best of his knowledge. But everything failed. I provided him with my laptop, just to check if the LAN port on my desktop had some problem. But the modem did not work on my laptop too. He then tried to connect it with a wi-fi router but that again failed. He went back saying that "thats all he could do" and that he will contact airtel official to test the MUX and Port end.

      Right from that time, you guys are trying to figure out where exactly is the problem, but till now neither your technical team nor your customer support has been able to give me a solution. I have spoken to around 10 customer care officers and to Ms.Priyardarshini of the escalation team and to Mr.Amrut, who introduced himself as priyadarshini's boss.

      Please be informed that i am sick and tired of calling your customer care and repeatedly repeating my name, telephone number, nature of complaint and the long hours that they put me on hold to get back to my query.

      I wish to inform you that i have been with airtel for the last 8 years and that i am a gold subscriber. Good to note that you have given me such a position. But the sad part is that you have completely lost my trust of being a good service provider and a technically competent team of people. Sad that the SLA that you offer has gone for a complete toss and it doesn't bring anymore value to the customer, when not implemented and adhered to. Its even more disgusting to note that your technical team is totally clueless on the problem. It only goes on to say that you have lost valuable people to the competition and that they have grown stronger by offering me a new broadband connection with the same kind of SLA and money back guarantee with free live demo and Zero Entry Cost.

      i have been a staunch supporter of airtel and an ardent blogger for a long time. I write reviews read by millions of people and have written so good about airtel (http://www.mouthshut.com/review/Choosing-a-DSL-Provider-slpnppltt) when i truly enjoyed its services in the past

      But now, having understood how much airtel has changed from being a value service provider to "just another" service provider is quite hard to digest. I may not want to have business transaction with "just another" service provider and such incompetent technical team.

      This is my last request to resolve my issue and i am "Pleased" and generous enough to provide you time till 5pm tomorrow[protected]Sunday). I know its a sunday, but this will prove if you are really a customer's company and truly regret for having "jailed" me inside my house awaiting resolution.

      Failing to comply with my final request to resolve the problem, you may receive a disconnection letter for all my airtel services which includes my 5 airtel mobiles, 1 airtel DSL and Landline connection and 2 airtel DTH services, by 11.30 am on[protected].

        Dear Sir/Madam I Bideshi Samantray,Father- Madhab samantray,D.O.B-06/10/1977 of address: Village-phulapokhari,P.s-Baranga,Distt-Cuttack-Pin-754005-ODISHA,Contact Number:[protected], would like to bring into ur notice that I have faced a great trouble by using this airtel service and i was putted in trouble only by airtel when in the night at 10pm when i dialed to my home for medical emergency as accident took place in the road but at that point of time i found suddenly my outgoing calls and sms are barred by the airtel service provider,when i called to 198 toll free customer care they didnt respond to my calls,i have tried more than 1000's of times to contact with customer care but they didn't picked my call and in such serious medical case i was not able to contact anybody due to this airtel,I have purchased the this sim on 3rd January2011 at the time of purchase i have submitted my Driving License Xerox copy & Passport size photo to the Airtel Relationship Centre Cuttack and after 3days of purchase of Sim i have received a message from Airtel that Thank you for choosing Airtel we are in receipt of the documents submitted by you.

        Therefore i Request D.O.T and TRAI to please look into this kind of matter punish these telecom operators and help atleast those people who hav till now not faced such kind of problem today i faced this problem and it may be tomorrow any person may face this problem,there should be made some rules that before barring they must inform the customers abt this so that one can be aware of this.From this bad experience i will suggest all my realtive in my home using 12 airtel connections to port in to bsnl and leave airtel now i know that BSNL best hai mere liye aur humsab ke liye bhi ,hatao ish ghatiya airtel ko .

        Airtel — outgoing calls barred without informing

        I had taken two new airtel postapid connections and it was activated imediately in the month of febuary 2010. After few days both the numbers was barred from outgoing calls and it was not informed to me. When i raised a complaint with the customer care, they were not ready to take complaint. they accepted that they do not have any proof that they had informed to me before barring the outgoing calls. It was like 10 days i was not able to make outgoing calls. They also misguided me to submit all the documents in any of the airtel outlet. when i went their with all the documents they told i had to submit the documents to the same executive whome i took the connection as it was an corperate connection.

        i asked the airtell not to bill for the barred period but it was and I had to pay the bill for the barred period as well.
        My airtel sim was barred, outgoing call is not going, my account balance is 20 RS.
        WHAT CAN I DO?
        GIVE ME A SOLUTION.

        Airtel — suddenly outgoing calls were discontinued

        I have done the MNP from BSNL to Airtel[protected] around 6 months ago. Incoming/Outgoing calls were working well untill yesterday night. Suddenly my outgoing calls were discontinued. Whatever the number i try to call it goes to 121 customer support, also the customer support representative. They were telling that my outgoin were discontinued due to the security verification failed. If i call by my mobile either me or the customer support representative couldn't hear the voice. Howcome past 6 months nothing happened and suddenly they discontinued my outgoing call telling the security reason?. Even airtel didn't try to call me for verification. They do call me only for marketing purpose.

          I have a digital TV HD connection ([protected]). I opted for the two new HD channel offered by Airtel i.e. Discovery HD (Ch-338) and movies now HD (Ch-198).

          The costomer care told me that I shall have to migrate to a new Satellite and so the alignment of the dish has to be changed. After almost one week and repeated requests, instead of sending anyone to change the alignment, they have now promptly migrated my connection to second satellite and no channel is now available now. Its been 2 days since they have been giving false assurances.

          The local airtel care centre is demaning money for this migration. Why should the customer suffer (RS 200) for the decision of the company to change the satellite??

          This is absolute cheating by Airtel to deny the customer of the services and charge them for it.

            Dear Sir;

            My mobile no.is [protected].

            My complaint is related to curtailment of balance without using any services. While, I have contacted on AIRTEL complaint centre no.198 on dated 05.03.2011 which request ref. no. CBDCK[protected]. But, no action has been taken and each day @ Rs. 1/- to Rs. 5/- is being curtailed from mobile without using any value added services. One point is also noticed that after doing complaint, when I have tried to recomplaint through their complaint service no.198, no one has picked up the call in customer care centre. I have also complained through mail on 11.03.2011 and 16.03.2011, but no action has been taken.

            When I have tried again to contact on customer complaint service no.198 of AIRTEL on dated 25.03.2011, a customer care person has picked up the call. When I have told about confirmation for request reference no. CBDCK[protected], he has cut my call without any hesitation. After that again, I have tried to contact in customer care, but noany reply got from customer care and has been disconnected my call.

            I am also attaching my mail correspondence with AIRTEL as follows which is self explanatory:-

But, today, again, it is observed that Rs.3/- is deducted from my balance. May I know why?

            Please look into the matter and confirm it. If any service is started on this no., please stop it.

            I want to clarify also that when I am going to write the massage STOP and sending to 1210 or 121, I am just getting the massage i.e. Your request to stop service has been received, we shall get back to you in a few minutes with the option. Dial 57875(Toll free) and set your favorite song as hello tune.

            After some time, again, I am getting massage i.e.

            The following services are active on your mobile:
            To reply type the serial number of the service that you with to STOP
            1. Cricket Score Pack

            After this again I am going to type the serial number of the service with STOP.

            After that, Again, I am getting massage from you i.e. DND is deregistered. Please contact on 1909.

            When I am contacting on 1909, DND is deregistered.

            I want to say also that no any service is active on my mobile no.[protected].

            Please clarify why my balance is curtailing without the use of call.

            Please resolve it within 2 to 3 days, otherwise it will compell to take action against AIRTEL. It is very bad thing that you are cutting my balance Rs. 3.00 per day without use of any service.

            Please look into the matter and resolve it as soon as.

              Hi,

              I had purchased the airtel 3g card from Tell connect, Sarojini street,T.nagar, Chennai 17 on 11-Feb-2011. It was earlier very slow with speed ranging around 24kbps. My connection number: [protected])

              Atleast it was working for a few days, then we had a number of issues using the connection.

              Please find the details below:

              1. We were asked to recharge the sim which was perfomed, and after a number of repeated calls to the customer care, at last they are saying that the connection is active. We never got a responsible answer from any of the customer care representatives.

              2. Currently we got a message saying that the account cannot be activated since there is more than 50 GB available in the card. No surprises that there is so much still in available since the card was not working for most of the time and thanks to the irresponsible customer care representatives, the issues are also not getting solved.

              Every time i call customer care at[protected] they give me a standard list of activities that needs to be executed like reinstalling the software, checking the settings, etc and when they run out of options, they hang up on me.

              I hope you do have track of the complaints I had raised earlier in this regard. Every time I call, each representative puts me on hold and i think is trying to tire me out of calling them, and when i ask a qn and they dont have an answer, THEY JUST HANG UP.

              I would like either my connection issues to be solved or a refund of the amount I have paid till date and end of this useless service I had bought and am regretting till date.

                I purchased a Beetel qwerty dual sim mobile phone from you with a free offer of Airtel DTH. Upon receiving the said mobile I was instructed to contact the Airtel customer care to get the DTH system istalled at my home on payment of Rs825. But on dialing to the said airtel officials, the call was either not heard or they told me some other phone numbers to contact which were vague numbers as there was no response from those numbers.Now after a month or more I have realised that I have been cheated by the HOMESHOP 18 officials as well as the AIRTEL DTH officials. Shortly I will be apprachin g the counsumer court for redressal of my complaint and seeking the compensation for monetary loss and mental disturbance.

                  I am Kamesh, from Chennai my customer ID is [protected] i have two settop box connection under this Customer ID. Due to frequent signal problems i opted for disconnection of my second setop box connection and had contacted customer service and my second settop connection was disconnected on 7the March'11 but the daily rental being deducted from my balance was still not changed it included my second settop box also. Despite complaining several times about this to customer care service the problem was not solved. and my balance was reduced double the amount daily for just using single settop box. I feel very displeased with Airtel DTH service.

                  If they validity period is about to end they will not forget to call or msg reminding me do recharge but a proper grievance they will not respond.

                  I feel ashame to use Airtel DTH Service this will even raise doubts to useing Airtel mobile connection also.

                    I would like to caution & get help from consumer forum on a call I received from [protected] on my airtel mobile number saying that I have won a lottery of 15.25 lakhs on my airtel sim number. The person calling mentioned that he was calling from Mumbai on behalf of Airtel & he could have the cheques delivered at home at 1800hrs today or I could have it collected from my nearest branch of SBI. The person calling also said that your voice is being recorded & I would need to disclose my pehchanpatr number. Also that the recording would be played in Sahara One channel at 2100hrs tonight. The pre-condition before which cheque details would be disclosed was to remit a sum of Rs.5,500/- to their account. Suspicious of this, I immediately checked the area code +9230 on the web & found out that this call was originating from Pakistan whereas the person calling mentioned that he was calling from Mumbai. I feel this a new method devised for money laundering by anti social elements & request that a thorough investigation be carried out on the above mentioned number & if possible nab such fraudsters at the earliest. I mean how could they get hold of my sim number which was exactly the same number he had quoted! Now, I am even more of the opinion that somebody from Airtel is hand in glove & compromising their customer numbers/details... Waiting for a response...

                    hi i am kunal goswami i have also received such a call and immediately i check on my balance almost 200 rs were deducted the person on the call says he is from Delhi actually of some other country just once i get my hands on this frauds my brother have also received such a call from RBI bank fake lottery and same happened with him he lost 10000 plus he submitted his bank account password for it sorry guys be sure dont trust this kind of calls
                    This is Asif from New Delhi and i received a similar call from a person posing as Vineet Srivastava from Airtel Noida Sector-15 office. He called at exactly 3:59pm on 19th July, 2011 to my number:[protected]

                    He asked me to rush to a nearest recharge shop and when i started enquiring more, he started abusing.

                    Please take necessary steps as he is spoiling Airtel's brandname.

He repeated the same story of my no. getting selected and winning Rs. 25 lakhs.I was asked to contact a person at another no. which he said belonged to the chief customer care officer at Airtel Mr. Rawat from mumbai. The no. was [protected] and all the time This man kept repeating the same thing. He asked for my ration card no. and account no. I told him that I would report it to media since I am the winner of such a big amount .Also he mentioned that the name of the draw is KBC.He was all the time addressing me as mohtarma, which is an urdu word. I informed him that I would involve media and police into this. Inspite of this he kept on and on. I disconnected and found my balance was Rs. 150 less as compared to my available balance before the call.People at airtel, we request you to follow the case. It could be something big.
                    I also received a call from a similar number [protected] . I received numerous missed calls and finally when I called back I was told a similar tale of winning the airtel lottery. I was told to contact a computer generated number [protected] (MD Akash Verma) for further details. I suspected that this was a fraud and asked him what his mobile number was. Realising that his fraud has been caught he started using abusive language on which I disconnected the phone.
                    I just hope some disgruntled airtel employee is not involved in this. Concerned authorities please look into this

And all the time This man kept repeating the same thing and speaks only in hindi.

                    When I was asked abt making this public he told it will be done by company after crediting this amount in my account, He told me to credit 15k in his company ac as registration fees, I told him to deduct 15k from my 24Lc and he immediately disconnected the call

                      airtel broadband and landline connection is providing very poor services. On repeated calling to customer care they are giving request no 44502660 against my landline no [protected] and saying again and again that a engineer visit has been scheduled but till now no technical person has ever visited to my home place. When i have requested to forward my call to their senior person they replied that they are busy and they will call back later on but never ever they have called their customer . when i am again calling they are putting me on hold for 25- 30 minutes . Till now airtel services are in a very poor condition.

                      We are a Big Corporate in Faridabad and Using Airtel's Services for last 7 Years with more than 500 numbers.

                      1. While all the desired document had submitted at the time of taking these connections also (7 years ago) for all our numbers. We again submitted these on demand of Airtel and it was recd. by collection agency on 27.11.2009. After two months (in Jan.10) Airtel is again demanding documents for the same. We requested the same executive of collection agency to collect the documents again but no one came. Now after two months numbers are barred. We treat it as mental harassment.

                      2. Earlier we were informed that Auth. Signatory is not updated in Airtel's system and due to this, two other numbers got barred

                      We have been using Airtel Services for last 7 Yrs. and at the time of booking all collection we provides documents. If documents are not with Airtel or not updated in the system, where we are responsible ? This is not the way that first barr the services then demand documents, why ???

                      3. We want to let everyone know that The service level & response time we are getting through current system is not as good as we have been getting from our Customer Relation Ship Executives in the past. Only one man who was looking after our account was having a good working manner by which he was able to made us satisfied and now C.R.E. services are not being provided by Airtel due to which "Mr. Manoj Kohli (CEO), Mr. Dinesh Vaid (Sr. Manager) , Mr. Gaurav Sareen (Asstt. Manager), Ms. Meera Srivastava, SMEQFS, Corp. Help Desk, 121" this big team is working on hehalf of ONE MAN (C.R.E.) and problem are still not being solved on time.

                      4. Our CUG Issue : 22 numbers have been identified for which CUG needs to be corrected, which was under the process for rectification since 4-5 months Today when recitification is done, It has created a new problem. Billing Error. Billing consolidation got totally disturbed.

                      5. We have booked an FCT Connection on 16.01.2010 through a CSA who assured activation within 2-3 days. After 9 days we recd. a call from Airtel. The person who was calling told me that "Your Company / Address Verification is NEGATIVE). We are glad to see this service that after 9 days of booking connection, we are being informed that our company verification is negative where we are already using more than 500 connections for 7 Years.

                      6. For all above disputes we requested Asstt. Manager (Customer Relations) to visit us, he does not have time to come, he does not have time to work, even he does not have time to talk to us. He comitted to visit us on 27.01.10 and we are still waiting for him. Since 27.01.10 I am trying him and at that time he was in a meeting (as he said) . And till now I am waiting for his call, May be he is still in a meeting. Even If I makes a call, he does not picks it up.

                      We have send all aobve issues to Customer Care, many officers, appellate authority, Nodal Officers etc. etc.

                      All above matter has also been sent to the Top Man of the company and also to CEO of the company. Airtel , The Leading Telecom Company of India. And I am still waiting for the response from Airtel but they even don't revert emails sent by us.

                      So by Writing this, I just want to let everybody know that How a Leading Company is Providing Serivces to Its Corporate Customer.

                        I have Airtel sim from last 3 years which was procured at Mumbai ( Thane ) . Now I am at Kolkata. And I have recharged with Rs 100/- ( hundred rupees only ) and its Transaction ID is 41184683 dated 26.03.2011. But I have got only Rs 1/- ( one rupee only ) top up. So, if there is any changes in the TOP up rules Airtel has to inform their customers first. Without informing they have given only Rs 1/- against 100/-. I want my money back. And looking forward for the better service from Airtel.

                        I have recharged with 125rs for 2g data on 21-Mar-2014.Recharge was successful and 125rs is deducted from my account(through net banking). transaction ID is[protected]. However, 625mb is not credit .Customer care people are not bothered to take a complaint on this.

                          AirTel though it is advertising all over about 3G, it does not have 3G network in all towers. Their services is below average. Except for first one week, there as no time I saw "H" (HSPDA) on my mobile. It was always EDGE. The speed is so bad even streaming radio at 24kbps is buffered frequently.

                          Now after one month of EDGE speed with 3G plan of Rs.450 per month for 600 MB. I got unbilled charges for data as Rs.10,000. After their discount the cost for me is Rs.5400/-. What the hell is this? The technical support person who visited to analyse the 3G speed problem acknowledge that 3G is not from all towers. But all through outer ring road I didn't get 3G speed (H).

                          The billing problem for data usage is the second time in 3 years. Earlier also their technical team claimed they gave me 2.5 Mbps speed with their GPRS network !!

                          The support and also the nodal officers are waste. They only send long canned responses for small information. Their network and billing are horrible. No wonder their stocks have fell down last 3 years.

                          Airtel — Unfair billing and ineffective support from customer care

                          For my billing period from september 12 to october 12 I used to get messages from 'Nazara ', daily, telling me that I am 'charged Rs 30 for some services which I have downloaded'.When I got this message, the first time itself I called customer care and complained that I haven`t done any downloads and I don`t want to get any message like this any more.The customer care executive told me that it won`t repeat anymore and they have deactivated something.But again it came and, I complained.After my third complaint the person who talked in regard of airtel told me that they can check it only when the bill comes.
                          When the bill came I was additionaly charged Rs 650 as download charges.When I complained they told that I have transfered data!!!.After that they were ready to raise it as a complaint and I was told that I wilkl get a call back.I called customercare again after two days and I got the same reply.Now they have additionaly charged me Rs 100 in the next bill as late fee and when I called back they told me that they cant do anything about this and repeated that I have transfered the data.
                          When I called customer care and asked to 'activate GPRS FOR RS 99 PLAN ' facility for me in the september october billing period they told me some procedures.Later I came to know that this was not for activating GPRS but for something else .I was charged seperately for browsing 30 ps /20 kb and another some 100 plus rs for some other net facility.Total charge for the billing period was 1604.Clearly this bill was due to the wrong informations provided by customer care and passive attitude towards my complaints
                          Kindly help me on this unfair charges levied on me.
                          Even I faces the same problem. On just navigating 2 pages of website...
                          my 10MB data gets used.

                          Airtel — Ineffectiveness of customer service

                          Hi,

                          My name is Arul Silin Ninchal, I am with airtel service for more than six years, here the problem is ineffectiveness of customer service, my airtel number is [protected], from this number it is very hard to reach the customer service, so I tried from another number (i.e.) [protected], the representative transfers the call to his supervisor, I am waiting online for more than 45 minutes (1june2011 9.00am -9.45am), but no one turned back, once again I tried from my number it has been blocked.
                          My complaint is that, on 24th of last month approximately they have taken around Rs.50 for data usage even though I had sufficient data balance, I called for refund and they assured for refund, but I didn’t received it, like wise on 31st of May they have charged 30 without my authentication, the representative assured me I will refund it, till no use, then I send port message to change the network then somebody contacted me and told me I will refund and gave some offers inorder to hold me. I had some questions to you
                          1. Being a prestigious institution why they are behaving like this? (many of my friends having these complaints)
                          2. Why it’s hard to reach customer service?
                          3. Why they are making the customer to wait for such a long time? 45 minutes
                          4. Why customer service ignoring the customers & irritating?
                          5. How to claim the compensation for that?
                          6. Will I get solution ?

                          My Name is Abhishek Gupta . I Got Airtel 3G Dongel activated on 19/05 /11 . My Sim no. is [protected]. I have opted for 2GB PLAN @750/- On using the services for 18days my connection was barred on 05/06 on inquiring I was told that bill amount is 30, 000 so unless i make the interim payment the connection can not be activated .On telling them the statistics which one can see while using the dongel it was showing usage of only 1.24GB but seems logics does not work in Big Companies like Airtel and I was told that I have to wait till the final bill is not generated ... Which means company has not allowed me to use 0.75 GBS which was balance in the plan .
                          Now once I have received the bill there was another shock for me as the amount was showing 16, 000 even though the itemised bill which they have sent is showing the consumption lower than 2GB . I am in touch with their diffrent offices - Nodal, Appelete asking for reasoning of this sort of inflated bills and the discrepencie in the statistics which is being shown in Dongel ( Live usages ) and bill which is as high as 61% .
                          I have again told to wait till few more days time untill someone got to attend the reasoning right . In between my dongel is useless for nearly 20 days and since it is post paid connection - I am paying for the rental without usages ..
                          Will any senior officer from Airtel will take note of the same and resolve the issue and customer dissatisfaction ..

                          Airtel — 3G Billing is atrocious

                          Take Care while using airtel 3G services.
                          I got a plan for 200 Rs where 200 MB of data is free and after that 30p/20kb

                          Unfortunately I over used it to 290 MB and I got around 1500 billed for the extra 90 MB.

                          There is no alert that I have used my limit or there is no way to de-activate 3G if my limit is crossed .

                          This is totally unfair on the service provider part even though I am aware of my plan .
                          The should send the alert in any case if my limit is crossed .

                          And the billing rate is also high in Airtel if the limit is cross (30p/20 sec) compare with Vodafone which gives plan better than airtel and if the limit is cross it is only 2p/10 sec.

                          Hope Airtel notices this
                          Airtel 3g Goa is miserable.
                          Billing is screwed up big time.
                          No response from customer care.
                          They say they ll give you a call back in 4 hrs and nothin happens even after days.
                          They register a complaint and give you the SR# and when you send an SMS to clarify ur SR status, you get a reply SMS "No records found".

                          These people deserve their stocks going down. No more curses.

                            I had an idea no. [protected], I applied for MNP on 08-03-11 through a local airtel dealer i.e, Standard Communication, Laxminagar, near V3s Mall. The no. has been activated on 15-03-11 but deactivated on 22-03-11 without any prior notice. When I asked to the airtel customer care, they told me that they have not received my documents yet. Again I applied with the same docs on 23-03-11, and communicated with the distributorn of East Delhi and Airtel Centre, Laxminagar through phone and mails respectively, but all efforts went in vain. The no. has not been activated yet.

                            I am facing a lot of problems as the no. is deactvated without prior notice. I am blocked to communicate with my important dealings.

                              As i am using my airtel prepaid no. for more than 4yrs . and i am using postpaid no. too from o[censored]r company . My prepaid no. is [protected] . I ad me called to ur customer care no. for an clarification of my message booster . one guy picked up the call and said there should be a minimum amount of 1rupee . usually i use this prepaid no. only for message & for browsing and i will my postpaid no. for other things & even i am using broad band service with ur company only . In such cases i told k to that guy and recharged my account for 10rs and 17rs for net . when i started message it was charged for every message . so i called up airtel customer care again . the guy who pick the call . he did not respond well . He maid me to get tensed . Later i cut the call after appreciating him about his service . Den now my net access also in problem . so try to call once again to get a help regarding this , but that ad blocked my customer service . I am also working in customer service industry in a good position . but airtel customer care had through me to damm . good job guys . i planned to cut all my service with airtel

Dile 121 then all about what we can purchase i feel they have started now sale & dont listen after getting money. Nowhere we can speak to Executives. This is horrible. I dont think this kind of cheating shold be allowed.

                                I have an HD Airtel Digital TV connection: . Recently Airtel added two new channels: Discovery HD and movies now HD. I requested for these 2 channels to included in my package. However, the response was that the dish needs to be realigned to ensure that these channels can be received. However, in spite of repeated requests no one has tuned up to realign the dish and provide the new channels.

                                It was assured that there wopuld be no charges for this re-alignment. But the local airtel people called up and said that they would charge RS 200 for it. The change of sattelite is not initiated by me. Why should the consumer be penalised for the company's decision to change the satellite?

                                    Sub: Request- Regarding-Taking action against Inabaility of customer care deparment of Airtel to resolve the problem, retrival of balance which has been deducted from my mobile no: [protected], setting the call charges as per terms.
                                    I am M.RAJIV who has shifted from Aircel to Airtel through mobile no portability ( mobile no: [protected]) on[protected].
                                    At the movement while iam taking Airtel connection, I have opted the plan 1paise/ second for lifetime and I have also prescribed for Do Not Disturb service. But later on marketing team of airtel are disturbing me, even iam in DND list. Later on I have subscribed the plan, rc: 61 for ‘½ paise/ second’ valid for one month, on[protected]. It went good for two weeks but after two weeks I noticed that iam charged at 1.2paise/second. As iam in offer period I should be charged at ‘½ paise/second’ (or) as per the nominal lifetime offer 1paise/second, but iam charged at 1.2 paise/ second. I called to Airtel customer care several times, but the IVR has not connected me to the customer care agent( the customer care department is useless and the IVR is not disconnection the line without obeying the instructions of the customer who is calling). At rare instant even when iam connected to customer care agent, the line got disconnected within 30 seconds while iam speeking to customer care agent. I even do not received a call back from Airtel, inspite of repeated dissconntction of line, while speaking to customer care agent. How would I speak to customer care agent when iam not connected to it? As I not not have hope that I can solve this issue from my mobile. I walked in to the local Airtel outlet at Pindala cheruvu/ Kakinda. I explained my version and requested them to forward a written complaint which I have given. The Airtel outlet executives replied that we don’t take written / oral complaints for prepaid connections, but u can call directly to Airtel customer care from our phone. As per the instructions given by them I dailed to 125 and It took 15 minutes to speak to customer care agent even from Airtel outlet.
                                    I spoke to customer care agent for a long time and lodged a complaint for balance deduction (with a complaint no: CBNRA [protected]). The spokes person replied that you will receive a call back for Airtel authorities and the complaint will be resolved in 2 days. I waited for 1 week but the complaint was not resolved. Later on I again walked in to the Airtel outlet and spoke hard with the Airtel outlet executives to solve the issue or else I will skip to some other network. They replied that you can proceed as your wish and we cannot forward your issue, It is upto you, you can call to the customer care department or else go to Airtel prepaid outlet located at mainroad in Kakinada and we do not deal with prepaid complaint as this is a postpaid outlet. Then I walked in to the Airtel prepaid outlet at Kakinada, they replied that we cannot resolve the issue due to lack of facilities, said that it is better to speak over the phone at Airtel outlet by dailing 125.
                                    Finally I again went to Airtel outlet, dailed to 125 and waited for 1 hour to get line connected. As line is connected I spoke to the customer care agent and explained my problem to them and lodged a complaint( with a compliant no:[protected]. The customer care Authorities replied that I will receive a call back from Airtel customer care Authorities on 22-03-11 at 4.00 pm. I did not receive any call untill 25-03-11. Hence I called to Airtel customer care on 25-03-11 at about 10.00 am, but the same problem( the line is getting disconnected) was repeated inspite to know the status of my complaint.
                                    I am vexed with the services of Airtel, proper justice has not been given to my complaint.
                                    I request the Authorities to give good service from customer care to resolve the problems of the customer. I wanted to bring to your kind notice that Airtel is deducting balance from the customer( especially from illerates) in different ways ( like hello tunes, asttology, cricket) as more % of customers are not aware to compliant against them and get problem resolved.

                                    This is another of my complaint for the same stupid customer service of airtel.

                                    I was facinated by the Music on Demand. So I subscribed it..... unfortunately.

                                    I thought, and many people in airtel say, that the 100 bucks was for one month subcription. I listened to the songs for three times in the month. and all the three times, the full subscription amount got deducted. Then I wanted to unsubcribe again.

                                    The same silsila......

                                    Now it is the fourth month....nothing has happened.

                                    I called the cust care. they told to call a number to unsubscribe. Called .... they say, that the service is not active on my phone. They were giving me the option only for subcription. Called the cus care again. They say you are subscribed to it and that is why your money is deducted every month.

                                    Exept for the first three times in the first month, I never used this service. In the first month itself, I got a ticket number to unsubcribe the music on demand. They told, (after long long sessions of pleading, firing etc....), that the service will be deactivated in 24 hours.

                                    The same thing goes on and on and now it is the fourth month,,,, every month they are deducting 30 rupees. No one knows why... on what subcription..... I have no other choice but to change the number which I hate most. I never change my number. I really don t know what to do......

                                    AirTel — Music on demand

                                    Hi

                                    Music on demand service was activated on my prepaid number without request. I have been trying to un-subscribe it for the past 2 months but have been unable to do so. I have made several calls to Airtel customer care and have been told to dial toll free on 543213 and select option 4 and then 2. No such option is available on the IVR but the they claim it does.

                                    I am unable to resolve it and every month they deduct Rs 30 for a service which i dont use.

                                    Please help.

                                    I am having prepaid connection with no.[protected] on which i am getting Shloka SMS in written as well voice message for which i have launched complaint at Airtel outlet at Tilak Road Sadashiv Peth & F C Road, Pune. My complaint no.is [protected] & [protected] such complaint no's which difer from time to time are being given to me from last 15-20 days.                                     Airtel - Prepaid Connection — Music on Demand Service charges

                                    I am subscriber of Airtel prepaid service (Mobile no. [protected]). Airtel has been charging me Rs 30/- pm since July08 till date without my consent. I have not used this service at all. I came to know about it when I called Airtel on 10.04.09 to inquire about deduction of money from my prepaid account. My complaint no. with Airtel is [protected]. I want to know how without my consent they can put on this service & when I have not used this service at all, why they should not refund the money deducted for 7 months. It is not question of only money, but it is not good practice on part of Airtel. Can I complaint to TRAI about it? What are the regulations about it? Can I ask them to produce records of my consent either recorded or SMS?
                                    Hi just talk to customer care, they give u refund. I got refund on my postpaid.

                                    But i totally agree the practice is unfair. Thousands of people aren't even aware of this.

                                    I was having Balance of Rs.45/- on 4th Feb 2010 and My mobile was switch off. When I ON mobile Monday morning 7th Feb I found Balance of -9.00

                                    1) I spoke to Prepaid phone kept at desk and agent informed that your mobile has some service subscribed that is why it is deducting charges from Balance.
                                    2) Agent stop such service and informed me that now I will not get such service sms.
                                    3) I met desk agent they informed to register in 121 and 1909 for START DND. But it will take 45 days to activate.I received SMS for DND registration confirmation.
                                    4) Today at 10:33am I received sms from 555630 that you have successfully unsubscribed from “Gamelounge” To get the list of feature picture post Dial *321*44#. I have never enabled such services and they were charging to my account.

                                    5) Today at 10:33am I received sms from 555630 that you have successfully unsubscribed from “Cricket” To get the list of feature picture post Dial *321*44#. I have never enabled such services and they were charging to my account.
                                    6) Today at 12:37 I received SMS from AD-54521 You have been renewed for romance subscription service from Airtel you have been charged Rs 10/- get latest games at http://gclub.in/ea. I want to know who has renewed subscription? On my behalf and I have not acquired any services than why it is debited Rs 10/-
                                    7) Today at 12:37 I received SMS from AD-54521 You have been renewed for Boly subscription service from Airtel you have been charged Rs 3/- get latest games at http://gclub.in/ea. I want to know who has renewed subscription? On my behalf and I have not acquired any services than why it is debited Rs 3/-
                                    8) Also received call from 5999 which I did not take it available in my cell miscall register.


                                    The above services were renewed from my PREPAID amount and paid to such vendor without my knowledge. I have accumulated 540 SMS just to show Airtel customer services.

                                    I would like investigate and refund all my money which was paid to AD-54521 and 555630.

On the cover bearing No.[protected] H-2, but on the sim bearing No.[protected] H-2. In view of the above, I faced so much inconvenience and not activated till today. I contacted number of times to the concerned Customer Assistance M/s.R.K. Assocaite, behind Gandhi Park, Guntur, backside of Gandhi Park and he always not available, only two girls are available. The in-charge person is not responded properly and behaved as a rogue through my another mobile to the in-charge No.[protected], but not lifted the cell phone. For the above inconvenience, who held responsible 1) Company 2) M/s.R.K. Assocaite, behind Gandhi Park, Guntur and do justice.
                                    myself habeebulla from mysore, karnataka my mobile no is [protected]. i am facing some problems regarding my airtel prepaid connection. 2 months back i wanted to port out from airtel, suddenly i got a call from airtel & they gave me low tarriff plan but last seven days the plan has changed so again i thought of changing the network. on 25th april 2011 @ 12:44 i got a call from airtl again they told me abt low tarriff plan i said activate it they said it will take 24 hrs, i said ok after 24hrs i again called then they said 48 hrs to activate again i called they said 78 hrs i totally fedup.6 days over the plan not yet activated, they have barred my outgoing call to customer care. on 7th day when i called to customer care the executives behaviour was rude. in my house we r 8 members all r using airtel now we thought of port out from airtel because of airtels poor service.

WHY???? i should pay for this.
                                    when i call to customer care again he told me that he cant refund money.what a shame.why this poor service given by them.please stop the service immediately and refund my money.

                                      I , partner of M/S Planners Koncept have three mobile nos. [protected], [protected] & [protected] in my firm, the payment of which is done by me since the last 3 yrs approx. Recently since about 6 months, even after paying the mobile bills within due date, I am harassed by nagging calls from the company stating that the payments have not been made & they keep on calling about 3 times in a day which causes a lot of problem. Every caller asks the same question - my name, and then saying that the payment has noe been done. when it is told to them that the payment have been made, they all ask the same details - chq no., date, receipt no. even after being told that these details have already been given. This is the seventh time the same story is being repeated, their employees do not record the payments given and the consumer is unduly harassed.

                                      I have made payment for Airtel Mob. No. [protected] on 20.06.15 of Rs. 900/- through citrus pay via internet banking. The amount of Rs. 900 was deducted from my bank account but the bill remain unpaid. Please refund the amount deducted from my bank account.

                                      I have received call from [protected], the person from other end asked me to be at SBI ATM for refund of my amount of Rs. 900.

                                      As guided by the person i have done transaction of transfer &quot;card to card transfer&quot; from SBI ATM.

                                      After the transaction i was asked to wait for an hour and check my account, the amount would be transferred.

                                      But instead of refunding my amount, Rs 500 was again deducted from my bank account.

                                      Please take the necessary action as soon as possible and refund the amount deducted.

                                        In such a high competition market this is what Airtel does to its customer . Hope this mail reaches the desk of Sunil Bharti Mittal . Really admire the person & services o Airtel . I am loyal customer of Airtel since 9 years when you launched telecom .
