On Sunday (20-mar-2011) I got a SMS from BL-INDIAGAM as below.
You have been subscribed for 3 days free trial of World Cup Videos Subscription. http://122.170.122.191/he/ar/advdpack/main.jsp

I unknowingly clicked the link attached to this message and canceled it soon. Even though I have been charged Rs 99 for this.
Also I am not asking for any subscriptions. So please revert me the amount (Rs 99) and stop sending similar messages in the future.

Also today (23-mar-2011) I got an SMS stating that,
Thanks for using WCVideo pack subscription service from Airtel. You have been charged Rs 3. Get latest games at http://gclub.in/ea.
So please revert me the amount (Rs 3) and stop sending similar messages in the future.

I am a prepaid customer from the last 3 years with Airtel. My cell no is [protected] in the name of Mrs Jayshree Mehta aged 60 yrs old. On 27thMar'11, I had a balance of 26 rupees. I recharged with Rs 275/= so I had a balance of Rs 301/- Thereafter I made six calls on the 28.3.11 & I found that Rs 58/- was deducted from my balance & showed Rs 243/- as balance.
I tried calling the customer call center at least four times & everytime I called the executive would caut the line on some pretext. I was told the I would get the refund in three days & that some bollywood themes were activated on my ceii by airtel by mistake. Airtel has found new ways of looting the customer. I am looking at changing my service provider to Tata as senior citizens like us donot have money to throw on looters.

FYI. I have formal reply from airtel stating that ALL my services are deactivated and only calling and GPRS are enabled on my pre-paid mobile on 29th of March 2011. Just now I received a message which reads "Thanks for using WCVideoPack subscription service from Airtel. You have been charged Rs. 3. Get latest games at http://203.115.112.29/eagold/?source=od_alhome.

Rakesh: Please dont copy paste your message again. Resolve this and then confirm that you did something for airtel customers! (BTW, you are doing very good for airtel company!).

    two days 16feb and 17feb the call chrges done as per the system ie 50 paise per any call india

    after 17feb tilldate the call charges are applieng 1.2 paise per second ,to any call india

    given complient to bharti airtel ap customurecare office twice , but there is no action on the issue
    i have a pre paid no [protected] of airtel . last two days company dedected rs110 and 132 from my a/c . on contacting customer care they di'nt give any responce after contacing sevrel times they tell icalled to a international no but i did'nt. next time they again deducted rs 132 for no call. this will happen to my brother no also. on cotacting customer support they did'nt pick phone. one person name ashu very rude on customer support

So i request you to call me immediately on my alt no: [protected] / [protected] and refund the amount which was wrongly charged. If you are not providing any solution I'll report the issue to TRAI.

      Hi,

      Since today (March 22, 2011) afternoon, around 1:30pm I have been getting blank calls from an un-known number [protected]. After searching through internet I came to know that this number belongs to Pakistan.

      I do not have any relative, friends, known person from this country. So I called up Airtel customer care, and have requested them to block the number. Though Airtel have logged a complaint for my request, but no action seemed to be taken care. I am still getting the blank calls at 7:30pm same day.

      Please resolve this asap. I do not want to be called by fake numbers.

        I had done an online recharge to my airtel prepaid mobile no [protected] with my Axis bank account for Rs 299/- and I got only Rs. 1/- .The recharge was done on 22.03.2011 at 06:23 pm and trans id is 49777582.I got an SMS the same afternon "recharge with 299/- and get full talktime.Offer valid for 30 days". Henceforth I recharged it for Rs 299/-
        Kindly refund my amount back or I shall report the matter to senior authority.

          I have a complaint regarding my sim card rejection.from last 2 days my sim card is rejected.i am using this card from last 6 years.i have given my id proof at the time of purchase and from last 5 months i am in thailand .my sim has a balance of 287 rs and validity till 2012.i use this sim in thailand for incoming sms.My card has unregistered now so i informed this to my brother in kerala and he contacted customer care, they replied that we called many times for id verification hence not receiving call they disconnected it..sir how can i receive call in thailand as incoming charge is 100 rs.they should have been informed me in sms .so please take this complaint seriously i can provide my id proof at any time any where, or i will send a scanned copy. Please re activate my connection.my mobile number is [protected] .my e mail [protected]@gmail.com.
          I will be coming back to cochin in december 2011 and after that i need to use this sim card.

            My name is daizy choudhary. and my airtel mobile no. is [protected].first of all without my knowledge they started Airtel WORLDCUP subscription service on my mobile and the moment I recharged my mobile again They renewed the same service without my knowledge. And both the time they charged me money for the same even though I was not willing to take these services. And this is not the first time Airtel has done something like that. They are master of this exercise. I request you to please look into the matter and do the needful.

              I have airtel dth connection from sep 2009.My Airtel DTH I.D is [protected] It started giving problem about one year back of no signal every fortnight.for getting service we have to really run from pillar to post , frantic calls to airtel customer care and executives are good for nothing. Airtel engineers close the calls without even speaking or visiting customer forget about solving problem.Airtel DTH was bought by me on goodwill of Airtel in broadband service and Airtel Mobile service which i enjoy from past many years. I am repenting my decision today. Again it is not working from 20th march 2011 and till today i.e 22nd march 2011 i must have done atleast 10calls to customer care . I laugh at the name cusotmer care.There is nothing called as customer for them and care is not their in their dictionary.Due to brand name of Airtel many people will keep falling in their prey and their business will keep on running. Cusotmer care is doing great job in closing customer complaint to make their numbers in uptime gurantee.AN every time they issue a new comlaint number.
              LIST OF CUSTOMER COMPLAINT REFERENCE NUMBERS:4124480,4131326,4124480,4148544,4176492.fr om 12th october to 18th october 2010 after registering complaint they came and changed dish antenna and it started working fine last month on 15th feb again there was issue of no signal and it was closed after repeated request by reference number 5438889. with a rider from engineer that u have to pay 100 rupees for the service. trust me u can not move the dish antenna by ur hand and they say some one has done it delibarately or some monkey has shaked it. so funny.on 20th morniing again same problem was there when i contacted airtel digital tv customer care i was told that it is due to sun outage it will be o.k by afternoon.whole day io was wasting time on their commitment. on 21st morning i again sent a complaint with reference number 6165759 but no response today again i was given new complaint number 6197575. which will be closed by afternoon 3: 30 P.M but till 6: 15 P.M no call forget about solution.

              Can any one share email i.d or number of top excutives of customer care or CEO AJAI PURI.where it can be escalated.
              AITEL DIGITAL TV SUCKS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

              My recommendation
              NEVER EVER BUY AIRTEL DIGITAL TV CONNECTION.I DO NT KNOW OTHERS ARE EQUALLY GUD OR BAD.

              these guys r too much... i realy sucked my blood out of me i'm almost with d phone from past 3 days n waitin fa their engineer... all my 4 day hav gone to toss coz this fellows but still my tv is not workin at all
              I totally agree with that. Air Tel customer care support is very slow & make all fake promises. I have wasted three days of my leave waiting at home for Airtel service engineer.I have wasted lots of hours & money trying to call them. Air tel is not recommended for HD. TV satellite connection.

The persons calling always make excuse, they have received miscall from mobiles, wheareas i never did so, their intension aleays remain to collect personal information about me and my family.                   Airtel activated directly DND i.e Do Not Disturb services on my Mob. No. [protected] ; due to which i cant even recieve calls from Job Sites for my JOB references and also another promotional sms , calls , and cant even get feedback from Just Dial and all promotional services...

                      My number is [protected], On around 11th of March i ported my number from Reliance to Airtel.
                      From that to now hardly i am able to contact customer care people once or twice. I use to contact them using friend's phone or so. Second thing, I got a messaged stating "All local calls at 29p/min, STD calls at 40p/min 300 sms valid for 30 days." This tariff is still not working on my number. Moreover i expect this tariff to be applicable atleast for an year.
                      And Now, today i got a message from Airtel stating- "Kindly deposit your prepaid Enrollment form at the dealer from where you purchased your sirtel mobile to enjoy continued service".
                      But i have allready submitted my Enrollment at airtel office (Airtel center at madhapur), while purchasing this SIM card.                       Hope you people are trying to fix issues i am facing. But still nothing is moved.Moreover today o got message from Airtel stating"As per govt. directive, service on your airtel mobile have been discontinued due to non-reciept of your prepaid Enrollment Form. Kindly deposit at the dealer from where you purchased your airtel Mobile and enjoy uninterrupted service."
                      As already told i have already submitted the form and all required documents while purchasing this SIM as i purchsed this SIM from Madhapur Airtel outlet. Today again i went that airtel office Madhapur, they told they update me and will look into this issue. Do you people want me to daily go to Airtel Office.
                      Obviously i am not expecting such service from your side.

                      Well FYI none of my issues are resolved.
                      1) Still tariff i mentioned in my previous posts in not applied on my number.
                      2) Still no update from your side what is the status of document i submitted.

                        I activated your new service(airtel broadband tv) three days ago, but later i found it really pathetic.I was unable to watch any channel. It forced me to unsubscribe the same within two days. It is surely a disappointment for me, for such a poor service by a well established reputed organization.                           i got a message that MMS is activated and 2 rs has been taken for this service.. when u try to unsubscribe there is no way to do this.. Also u cant call customer care.. what the hell these ppl want.. they are looting all the customers....
                          Hi My mobile number is [protected] and this happened many times to me. so far nearly 6 times 2Rs has been taken i hope. why is it happening without customer concern. I need immediate resoultion or im planning to switch the operator and i have to lodge a complaint in TRAI too..
                          FYI i didnt activate any MMS services
                          This problem is continuing..even today i lost 2Rs for the service which i didnt opt.. i heard from an officer who called me that i have activated the service and no way it will get activated withot my concern... I think they are testing my patience by telling this.. hmm no way i would say service is very bad
                          i would like to know whats been done, even today i lost 2 rs. how could u say it is resolved... poor service i would say
                          i've the same complaint rs.2 is detected for mms subscribtion which i didn't opt or activate..my number [protected]...pls resolve the problem by unsubscribing it..
                          Its better to change the operator rather than being with this operator for 6 years...

                              Hi Sir,

                              I am using Airtel around 2 years,I have 2 numbers. But in one my number ie [protected] in which from last 6 month extra GPRS are getting charged, As we called them then they told its mistake and some amount the charges and told it wont be happen again. But same mistake is getting repeated again again, GPRS get activated Automatically and they charged me for that.

                              I purchase a new nokia handset model-3110 series with airtel network connection on date-5.7.08 .At that time i recharge with Rs 220.00 top up voucher and also pay Rs 299.00 for gprs activation.the customer care said that the gprs activate on monday, i.e 7.7.08. when i communicate with customer care on monday they told me your gprs already activated but your mobile upgradation not done, for that it will be take two more working day. but when i follwed the procedures said by them there is no answer given by then.The customer care do not take my calls and also my complain.So i requested that after 4 days of my cell phone purchase and adequate acesories purchased there is no activation of gprs system in my hand set.Take necessary action to my complain.

                              Dear Sir/Madam,

                              This is with reference to the bill number[protected] bill date April 7, 2011 for my Airtel Mobile No: [protected] - Relationship Number[protected]

                              I have been holding this particular number since the year 2000. I have never faced any Billing issue for the last 11 years. This current month's billing has come as a shock to me. My amount has been arrived at 4793.31 as opposed to my average bill of around Rs. 1500. I had activated the 3G facility on my mobile phone a couple of months back. My first billing after the 3G PLAN of Rs 100 rental a month was activated was Rs. 2346. This amount was justified as I had used the services when I was on roaming usage in Kerala.

                              This amount of Rs. 4793 is totally not justifiable, as I am always 99% on WI-FI connection at my office as well as my residence. I had activated the 3G service only to use it as required whenever I do not have access to a internet connection. I was prior to this using a 2G service. I am at my office from 11:00 in the morning to 6:00 in the evening. The moment I reach office, my connection automatically changes to WI-FI and so I will not have to use the 3G service at all. Once I reach my residence, I again have my WI-FI activated as I have an Unlimited Broadband plan at home too. Infact my WI-FI at my residence is switched on almost the time round the clock. My residence number is 42642129. You can have this checked at your end.

                              I would like you to have my bill checked as there is a huge discrepancy in the billing. There have been amounts mounting to around 500 to 600 on certain days and that too around late evenings to midnight which is next to impossible. Whenever I browse the internet at home, I make it a point to check if the WI-FI is switched on before I even attempt to make a browsing. In such circumstances how can I be billed for the 3G usages of 344578 duration/volume costing 5277.90, and in fact I use my laptop with the WI-FI connection for any of my work. The phone is not used for any major browsing, except for checking my official mails, for which anyways, I always check if the WI-FI is activated always to avoid using the cost of the 3G service.

                              This is a very very big discrepancy in the billing, and is not justified by any cost. You have to check my residence number of 42642129 in which you can verify that the WI-FI is always on. It is very difficult for me to make such a huge payment. I request to you to investigate into this at the earliest and provide me a fair and justifiable answer to my problem. I had a very high regard for Airtel and wanted to always use the 3G services, but after such a unjustifiable billing, I was forced to cancel my 3G services yesterday afternoon with immediate effect.

                                On 3rd March 2011 I got call at 2.10pm from No. [protected] to My no.[protected](Uttam Kumar.S).I didn't press any key after receiving call only I disconnected that call after 2.26 minutes but at 2.21pm I got message that I have Choosen My Tune and Rs.15 deducted from my Balance.So Please I request AIRTEL COMPANY to Refund my Money...

                                My name is Uttam Kumar S using #[protected]. I changed prepaid to postpaid. The Airtel Employees working in Infosys Technologies,Electronic City are cheating customers by saying per day 100 sms free but while I get the bill I came to know that 100 sms per month. This made me sad and I again changed to prepaid. But I request you to Refund my Amount which was deducted for Value Add Services Rs.598.94 which I need to pay to convert from Postpaid to prepaid.
                                The Airtel box for recharge in the terminal Electronic city (blore) is faulty.
                                I lost my money while recharging.
                                I have even got the slip with me.The Airtel people aren't even ready to recharge or repay my money.

                                  Dear Sir,
                                  On 19.03.2011 I have recharged of Rs.100/- for Airtel Dish T.V. & I have also received a SMS on mobile of Successful Recharge. Alc Bal. is Rs.70/-, But from 19.03.2011 night to in the morning on 20.03.2011, I have tried so many times But I can not see any chanels & Customer representative is not available on mobile.

                                  My Airtel Digital T.V. Account No. is [protected]. On 20.03.2011 I have also send mail to Airtel Customer care. On 20.03.2011, I have tried 15 times to contact on mobile to Airtel customer representative ,But he is not available, only message is coming to send SMS as HELP to No.54325.

                                  Today on 21/03/2011 at 2.29 p.m. Airtel Customer representative is available on mobile, but he is also not responding & not taking my complaint.

                                      My Name is Kalyan Goswami. I had purchased a DTH connection on 17th of March 2011 and Airtel collected the amount from me on the same day. They said they would try to get it installed on 18th, however no response from them on 18. I called the customer care on 18 th to check the status, they said it would get installed on 19th. I receive no response on 19th so called up customer support. They promises a call back which never happened. On calling them up on 20th they inform that it would get installed on Sunday by 12PM - no response from Airtel again. Airtel gives me a number of so called Zonal Manager Arun Kumar[protected]. This phone has answering machine that it is only on business hours the phone is answered.

                                      I called the Zonal Manager thrice and after waiting in the queue they disconnected the phone thrice. I called up customer service they follow their manager and disconned the phone twice. Third time they took my call and I ask for escalation. They transfer me to another agent pretending to be Sr Supervisor (Who she was not). She transfers me to another lady so called supervisor (Ruchika) who says that i would recieve a call back in 15 minuits form the manager. No call for an hour. But the engineer now called me after 2 hours --- What a service!!!

                                      I didnot expect this from Airtel. If this is the service in the begining then how would it be later? I want to stop the service and want a refund. This shatered all the good vibes that i had with airtel for past 10 years.

                                      Please address this at the earliest.

                                        I have bought a new Airtel simcard and it has been 2 days since it has been activated.
                                        I want to start blackberry internet services. When I send messages for that, everytime I get the same reply "We are unable to process your request." I called up 121 and the call centre executive said he was about to transfer my call to his supervisor. Then he hung up. Ever since I have not been able to talk to any executive, as I call 121 and press all the desired buttons, the computerised system just hangs up saying that try *121# for any service you need. I mean what should I do. I am already fed up of Airtel. I cannot even reach, any person to complaint or talk to, in Airtel.
                                        Problem solved: Just called the nodal officer...says that its because the verification has yet not been completed...once its finished I can start the service.
                                        Airtel Blackberry services are pathetic, awefull. I really regret taking this service from airtel . People in the customer service are not properly trained and they even do not have proper info .

                                        I am a blackberry customer . I called up to the customer care to see if I could use my device with my laptop also . No one was actually able to give me the proper info . One of the customer care rep said it was possible . One of them said it was not possible, and the problem is when ever they see that the issue cannot be resolved they just disconnect the phone . The reps I interacted to was Ashita and Sharmistha . They should be immediately retrained or people like me will leave airtell and start with some other service provider . And not to mention they do not even know how to talk properly . They were enough rude to me as if they were doing some facvor to me or something . Is this the way a customer is treated ?
                                        Yea I'm also agree wd dis guys, actly I'm also fed up of dis airtel executive they nt responding well, , I called him wen my bb weekly plan gt deactivated within a day, so I cald the cstmer exectve bt they nt tkng any intrst to help me, me actly get irritated frm dat guy they nt even ready to give a cal to his seniors.Now airtel sevices r just pathetic they nt even respond well, executive always use to say call on 7070 nd 1 more no bt wen I try to cal on dat they responded "ye suvidha apke no.pe uplabdh nahi h" nw any1 suggest wat shud I do to get out of dis bekar services or shud I opt sme odr service provider.So anybody can help me..get me out of this hell airtel services..!
