I have lodged an complaint on 29th of March'2011 towards the dish tv picture problems and the same is still pending.
I am surprise that after so many calls/reminders, I am not getting any support form your end and still suffering. I have updated my new address burt the same is not updated from your end. If this continues, i will not be continue with airtel Digital connection.

    Hi,

    My Customer id #[protected]

    I registered a complaint about the connection problem (SM2) on 29th March 2011. Everyday when i call the customer care center i get a response that the engineer will come the next day morning and rectify the problem, which never happened for the next 2 days.

    I expected at least sending an email to [protected]@Airtel.in will get the attention of representatives but even that never happened.
    I never got a response to the emails sent to [protected]@airtel.in other than the auto generated email.

    As a final step i emailed to the nodal officer of our division, then someone from Airtel Dth called an informed me that the problem will be solved in a day but it took 2 days.

    So after 5 days of struggle, finally the problem is rectified.

    TRAI regulations for DTH says "In case of non-receipt of signal, 90% of complaints must be redressed within 24 hours." I don't think Airtel follows the TRAI regulations.

    I recommend customers to reconsider their decision when purchasing Airtel DTH.

    I am facing same issue and I had posted a complaint on 14th March[protected]. As per the response from customer executive they have to realign the Dish to receive new channels and they will send technician to realign the Dish. Till now no one visited my place to realign the dish and I had posted couple of more complaints regarding the same 6559093 on (2nd April 2011) and[protected]th April 2011)

    They realigned my dish after 23 days of the complain being registered, wanted money for realignment altough airtel says its free. after they went the channels stopped coming after 3 -4 hours . now again i have complained and now they want money again to come and attend to the problem !!
    I have used airtel for 1 year and trust me its not worth it, NEVER will they respond to your compain in 5 to 6 days and totally unprofessional to work with. the customer service is very very poor . and are the "yes " sir " yes mam" type with no insight or authority.
    If you want ot be frustrated like everyone i know go ahead but trust me you will curse yourself for going ahead with airtel DTH.
    they are not interested in this business and their customer service is pathetic !! it took them 12 days to install ! and now 23 days to realign and after that my signal disappears !! what a joke even street vendors have better customer service.

    I am from Shillong. I have been having the same issue. It took 5 days for the engineer to come and try to rectify my problem. I was having clear picture but no sound and on the first day I called I was told that they will send an engineer within a couple of hours when nothing happen after 24 hours I called them back again and I was told that there was no complaint registered under my name. No one had a clue and have to provide my ID No., Cell No. and Address and after calling them for about 15 times finally an engineer came. But on the next day itself a message on the screen of my TV appear... the message of "ERROR CODE SM2". I called the No. [protected] which took 6-7 mins to connect and I was told that the problem would be rectify in about 30 mins. But the problem still remains till date. This morning I called again but did not get any response. My first complaint was on the 11/04/11. I was even told by the Customer Care in Shillong that there is a fee of Rs. 100/- to be paid.

    After reading the above complaints, I guess its wise to disconnect if my problem is not rectify immediately.

      Since last 2/3 days I am unable to enjoy my TV. It is happening all through out the day. Please consider this as a high priority issue. If today I will not able to see world cup match then I will disconnect the same as I can not afford the loss of World Cup final match and India is other side. Also my oriya pack has not been activated in my account. Customer care number is not responding as well. Please call me back to discuss the same and also resolve the same as soon as possible.         Sir,
        I have a prepaid connection. My mobile no. is [protected]. i am activate 3g service when it is start. but it can never work. when i complaint it they didn't give me any response. they give only complaint no. I am complaint for this 3 time in airtel customer care. my last complaint no. is "C3GVO[protected]". When I am force the Customer care then they close my customer care connection. To this 3G service I am recharge my phone with Rs. 200 (for 250 MB Internet uses).

            I am a new customer to Airtel Broadband Services. My broadband services got activated on 2nd March 2011.
            I opted for the 1300 INR plan and I stay in the Viman Nagar area in Pune.

            I am was very happy with the speed of the internet speed. But this happiness was to be short lived. :(
            The broadband service suddenly stopped working on the 26th March 2011 morning.

            Now the problem starts.

            26th March - I called up Airtel Support on this day. I got a response that there is a back-end problem and false Commitment from Airtel Customer Support that the service will be up in 48 hours.

            28th March - As the broadband service was still not working, I decided to call up customer support. The Customer Support informs that the broadband cable is cut and the local political parties are not allowing fixing it. There is no deadline.

            29th March - Service still not working! Talked to customer support executive(Name - Miss Kumada) in the morning. I got another false commitment that I will receive a callback before 1800 hrs. Obviously I did not receive any calls.

            01 April - Service still not working! Talked to customer support executive (Name - Mr. Sushil Kumar) in the late evening. He informed that there is no deadline for this problem as nobody knows how much time it will take.
            I asked him to inform Billing department so that the issues around the services is considered during bill generation. The executive informs that I will have to speak to billing department myself.
            And when I asked to give the call to a supervisor, then the call was put on hold and eventually the call got dropped automatically.

            Questions to Airtel Broadband service provider
            1) Why is the valid permit not taken from government bodies before laying out cables in any area??? Why should the customer consider the problems between Airtel and local politicians?
            2) Who will bear the losses which I have incurred due to unavailability of services?
            3) Why is the customer forced to contact thousands (exaggeration) of departments???? In this case why can’t the technical support department coordinate with the billing department to take care of billing???
            4) How can the customer executive just drop the call when an escalation is demanded?

              I am facing too many problems again and aging by Bharthi Airtel Prepaid Mobile Service.

              Honorable Members,

              last evening I've received a SMS from Airtel @ 18:06 Message center Number[protected]. We Have Changed * copy *9. you have only pressed *. please reply with 9 or call[protected]free) to Make Sri Anjanaya Suprabhatam your Hello Tune. you will be charged Rs30 towards Hello Tune Subscription charges and Rs. 5 For song.)

              The moment I saw the sms I had called the 198 Customer Care & the guy called Prabhakar the agent is only willing to talk in Local language & constantly saying that there are no such charges on your account & nothing is been deducted from your account, by that time from my balance RS 30 were deducted and later said I am transferring your call to my supervisor and kept me on hold for 17 minutes and the call got droped.
              I received a sms by 20:28 in the evening I receive another SMS from (543211 ~ Thank you for choosing HelloTune. You have been Charged Rs30 for 30 days. to stop this service, call[protected]toolfree).Call55234 to avail Festival DhamakaOffers). same time one more SMS from (543211 ~ Your callers will Hear Sri Anjanaya Suprabhatham as your HelloTune. Song Downloaded Charges @Rs15.)

              Since 20:28 Hrs I've been trying to call the 198# as usual they have blocked my number once again. the IVR message disconnects the call even after pressing the option #4.

              Honorable Sir / Madam... I would like to ask you all a simple question Why a MUSLIM person would like to have a (Sri Anjanaya Suprabhatham) as a Hellotune.

              Ever since I've taken this connection I've never opt for a Hello Tune.

              They Have made this as their business of cheating the customers on daily basis. whatever they public in the Ads they repeat they same thing on daily basis.

              please help me out I am fed up with this cheating business of Bharti Airtel.

              Kindly show me a best way of taking an legal action, it's a sheer mental and Financial Harassment on monthly or by monthly basis.

              Kindly take a strong action this time as with my last complaint one person calls & wants me to tell him what I have written on your website later he was suppose to call me back till date I am receiving the call from them.

              This time a total of Rs75 deducted in one evening, I don't know I've stopped the service now by next morning I may end up with another shock.

              Wrongly Amount deduction & Barring of 198 Services
              Dear Consumer Court,

              In recent past I had raised a complaint on Airtel prepaid mobile.

              for changing my tariff plan after recharging with RC27 for the reduced call charges.

              this was resolved by the Airtel Delhi Office one Rep contacted me, she informed about these things, ever since that day a new problem has started. my calls charges are been deducted extra (i.e.) if my call ends @ 10th sec im been charged some times 11paisa or 12paisa. ever since the day this rep had called me since that day my customer care 198 toll free number never gets connected or (BARRED)

              Other problem what I am facing unsolicited sms's from all these [protected]/ 722/ 738/ [protected].... and I am registered for DND services since way long back when I had taken this connection in 2006. now upon checking The server says That the service is not registered. I have tried this one more time today to re-register for the same service. The Airtel DND service would not allow me to re-register as this new service wants me to select these options as follows.
              Options.
              1. Banking/Insurance/Financial / Products/credit cards.
              2. Real Estate.
              3. Education.
              4. Health.
              5. Consumer goods and automobiles.
              6. Communication/Broadcasting/Entertainment/IT.
              7. Tourism and Leisure.

              I would like to know the Meaning of Do Not Disturb Services. they have covered all most many things in these options...

              Airtel — cheated me once again

              I am totally disappoint with Airtel service....On 25th july i was just calling to my friend...at that time i got msg thn i checked it and it seems that your last call charge Rs3....than i got one msg from company that i have activated news update...what this???after that i called customer care executive..they told me that by GPRS i activated it....i told him that i was just calling my friend..how can it possible than i hve used GPRS...than he told very rudely that in my systerm it shown like that......i asked him to give my refund back...he told me that sir its not possible...I was totally cheated by airtel...plzz help me....and sir it is second or third time..before that they had activated caller tune...i told that i never activated that..they refused to give me refund...
              i am one of the retailer in Mehatpur distt una himachal pradesh but i donnot know the retailer because they do not want to know your id and i am giving the 1 lakhs to 1.25 lakhs income to airtel but these people does deserve for this they are doing their monoply so i request you to pleasel look into the matter or shall i leave this air tel service because other company is also taking the fight with air tel if you want more harass language i am ready to give because i am retired defence pecsonnal and want to server aitel
              i am agree with this this type of people and airtel service
              yes, the airtel company providing such kind of this bad services..they cheat the customer...but at last we are the common man...so we dnt have ability to fight with them...so we have to suffer...their is no another way...If you have another way than plzz tell me...

                This is my second complain regarding AIRTEL BROADBAND 4mbps 50 gb data download plan which i am using. Very disgracefuly i am saying this nothing is being done regrading my complain of not getting the specified data download of 50gb at 4mbps. I got around 40 gb of data download for the month of march which i checked in my account details and after that my download speed got slower to 256 kbps. When i complained about this to their technical department they said our server shows that u have exceeded your download data and nothing can be done about this.BHARTI AIRTEL is the worst company i have ever experienced. They just know how to cheat their customers by giving false details and false data plans to their customers.I am using BHARTI AIRTEL BROADBAND services from the past 3 to 4 years and paying my bills on time then also they are not doing anything to rectify my problem. I am very much dissapointed from BHARTI AIRTEL BROADBAND services and i highly recommend everyone not to get any kind of sevices from BHARTI AIRTEL

                I would like to file a complaint against Bharti Airtel Ltd. for
                'mental torture' for the following matter.
                I am using bharti airtel broadband services under their plan of 4mbps speed in which they provide 50 gb data download at 4mbps and after 50 gb data download they provide 256 kbps of speed for data download.But regularly as per my records which they display on personal account information they cut the speed from 4mbps to 256 kbps before 50 GB data download.I am very much dissapointed with their services and after regular complains on their customer care helpline telephone numer nothing is being done.

                  I have been receiving SMS from [protected] number for past 2 years. So many times i called to that number no one is picking up my call. I have make a complaint to Airtel, but no response. I gave a request to Do not disturb service on November 2010 but till date the service is not activated. Please help me
                  this is also true in my case.this DND servise is a complete useless. these people never ever consider our request and just keep us misguideing about all their stupid services.we must stop using airtel if this continues.u just take ur DND registration no. and contitune to harss the coustomer care executive about. we need to stop them because they need customers, we dont need services like this
                  I have been receiving SMS from [protected] and [protected]. So many times i called to that number no one is picking up my call. This is very disturbing in day-today activities. Please do the needful.

                            I had bought a Sony Bravia LCD TV on 28th March from M/S Nandilath G-Mart. Along with the TV i had received an activation kit from Airtel Digital TV (HD).After going through the instructions as per the kit. I was given the customer ID [protected] . I was insructed to recharge Rs1000/- through this ID and was promised that the installation will be done within 48 Hours. After they failed to keep their promise i had called the costumer care executive again. They started giving me silly excuses like " Saarry saar the database got corrupted".After contacting the local nearby dealer i was again told to contact the Ernakulam Office of airtel but my calls were not being taken up. I am fed up of this irresponsible attitude of the employees of an MNC. I request the company officials to Hire sensible employees who gives a damn about the customers rather than these Callous Officials.

                            I have faced similar issue with Airtel DTH (Gurgaon 122001 Haryana) service.

                            Installation was promised immediate.
                            After calling Airtel sales (Mr Akshya ) he again promised. After no body turned up he smartly handed over number of franchisee who said boys have gone home. Please call tomorrow.
                            The local service manager Mr rahul when contacted says i will oblidge you tomorrow.
                            Airtlel needs to improve customer service if it wants to be number one.
                            I suggest customers not to pay before connection is actually installed.
                            I request Airtel to refund by booking mount.

I have call to customer care many times but they deniey to lodge to complaint for such type of display and they asking to call me to Asst. AIRTEL DTH when i call there his cell ph swtich off.                                 I have been constantly disturbed by promotional calls and promotional
                                sms, cricket sms, etc. and loosing huge amount of money in additional to
                                mental torture. I contacted customer care centers but in vain. Moreover sms to
                                either 121 or START DND to 1909 doesnot work in airtel as I have tested and
                                failed.
                                Hence, I request you to take up my problem and deactivate promotional
                                calls and promotional sms, cricket sms, etc. at the earliest.

                                  This is to bring to your notice that I had bought an Airtel Digital TV DTH connection last year and was happy with the same. I had just trusted this brand as I was using this mobile service since last 7 years. But, as with TATA SKY and other private DTH operators, true face was shown now which was so frustrating that I had to share my experience here.
                                  There were some new channels introduced on Airtel for which the dish has to be re-aligned which is known as Satellite Migration. This was not even informed to me by any means but found it on when I called the customer care waiting for almost 20 minutes. It has been almost a week and 5 complaints regarding this issue have been booked with no result. Moreover, yesterday I had a talk with Mr. Abhishek who was the Manager on duty and he as usual gave false acclaims for the 7th time that the engineer would come to my home today. But, same thing continued and they were falsely committing once again.
                                  It is very disappointing as I did not atleast expect this from Airtel as I have also heard many bad experinces for TATA SKY and RELIANCE BIG DTH. Also had been using DISH TV.
                                  Please help me if you can in this regards and let us see if these people can understand your language.

                                    Wow now another bench mark set by so called engineers of Airtel Digital TV. After 5 days one engineer 'Roshan-[protected]' informed me that there will be charges of 100 bucks per visit on no fault of mine. I told him that I will call the Customer Care desk then. I informed the supervisor/dealer Chandan-[protected] about this. He said there is no such charges. Few minutes later I received another call from another engineer Kuldeep Rana-[protected] who insists to come and resolve the pending issue.

                                    Now to my surprise 'Roshan-[protected]' came to the scene again and call me that he is coming to fix it. It is his good fortune that as I was in office he succeed to collect the charges from one of my family member who was unaware of this.

                                    Enough is Enough. Now you people should get ready for the real game. Copy of all the emails as well as call details will be forwarded to press.

Till now in the morning it is the same and not resolved. I didn't slept till 1230 AM. It is harassment. Now it is never easy to connect the call to your call centre. I am trying since 8 in the morning.

Furthermore, the engineer 'Roshan-[protected]' returned my money and informed that they only do the things as advised by supervisor/company. Was apologetic for his conducts. So need to take any action against him. There is lot for you to do for improvement in Customer Service of Airtel Digital TV. Better you should focus on that.

                                    I am having a digital TV and made a complaint to Airtel and they have given me the request number but the same was not forwarded to the dealer/agent when contacted the dealer they say no complaint received when again contacted the airtel custoemr care they given new request number with another feed back. They are making fool of customers and giving them wrong feedback and information. Realy this was never expected from Airtel atleast. Airtel is providing poor and pathetic service to his customers.

                                    i have just taken a airtel HD DTH connection is January, and till the time i have faced atleast 3 times problem but other two problem has been resolved within 3 days but now this time 5 days has passed but my problem is not resolved. my customer id is [protected]. i got one request no. on 11321151 on 26th aug 2011. and no engineer had come at my home and i got msg that my problem has resolved, and again i make a complain on 27th aug and got r.no. 11351112 and again engineer did not turn up and i got msg on 28th aug that my problem has resolved. i am having tata sky set up box also if by tomorrow my problem will not be solved then i will switchover to tata sky, kindly check in depth of the problem.

                                      I am attaching your information pamphlet with this mail which clearly
                                      shows the English movie channel WB to be a part of English Plus
                                      Package. As I am entitled to Economy sports package for the first 4
                                      months which did not had any English channels as I wanted so I
                                      separately opted for the English Plus package. But then I was not
                                      given the channel WB. When I called your customer care executive they
                                      plainly refused any information of WB being a part of this package.

                                      Please look into this matter and please arrange to provide me all the
                                      channels that are shown in your pamphlet.

                                        I, Priya Chaku, staying at Jodhpur, Rajasthan, had opted for mobile number portability for my number [protected] from vodafone to airtel a month ago which was done after a lot of complaining.
                                        Today at around noon my sim got blocked without any information and I am unable to make or receive any calls or messages since then. People calling me receive an information saying that this number is out of service. The person from the airtel office said that my number has been rejected.
                                        I would like to know the reason behind such inconvenience caused yet again and kindly do the needful as soon as possible.
