Hello,

I have taken Airtel broadband connection few months back for Higher education purpose. It was working well until 12 Feb 2011 but suddenly I started facing problem of frequent disconnection. Connection is not stable for 10 minutes also some time & speed is tremendously reduced.

I submitted all the papers to vodafone. After couple of days i got the message from Vodafone as "Your Porting Request AT644544 dated 06Mar11 has been rejected by your correntopeator due to The porting code does not match the Donor allocated porting code for this number....

SetTop Box issue and takes 1 week resolve

According to TRAI FAQ question 15, customer is not supposed to pay any amount to Airtel DTH company or to service engineer if there is any problem with the SetTop box. When I called to airtel customer care one of the execuitve told they wont follow TRAI regulations and he mentioned they will replace/repair for only one year and customer need to pay 100Rs to service Engineer everytime he makes a visit.
