Myself dolly my number is ([protected]) i have port in to your airtel service on 19 feb 2011 from the day i am facing a problem before porting, I had filled a form from internet for porting from aircel to airtel as when it was going to be port i was told that i will get a scheme i.e 1000 sms (local) free for 60days, airtel to airtel 10 paisa, other 30 paisa, STD 40 paisa (60days) FTT on 30,60,120 (30days) now from the day of porting i am giving complaints but as usual theysay it will take 2 days ,2 days .....as going on now today is 5 march 2011 still my problem is not yet solved i dont have enough time to go in any airtel gallary & show the sms , i complaint to Mr rahul area manager of mumbai (chembur) he tried but still i have not got free sms scheme only he provided me call scheme that is airtel to airtel 10 paisa other 30 paisa
I am very upset with this porting although i have got sms from airtel on 24/02/2011 9:09 am & the msg was like this....
Dear Customer,Welcome to Airtel. U hv got 1000 loc SMS (60 days ), 40p/min STD calls (60 days),10p/min Loc A2A (60 days), FTT on[protected] days)
Then whats the use of giving this sms if you cant provide any service to a porting customer so how come i would think to continue with you your senior Executive tried to help me but it is of no use now they are saying me one scheme can be activated for free 100 sms everyday is that i have to recharge with 4 rs but their will be condition that i will be charged 1.50 or 1 rs for 1st 2 sms so it is not o[censored]se if i pay 3rs daily then i will get the scheme then why the hell you provided me any scheme before porting really
I have been stuck with this ....every day i have to call to the call centre for the complaint is thier any solution for my problem i hope you will provide me solution as soon as possible .......
Or else me some new scheme as i am a porting customer atleast you should give a priority to new customer..who have ported to your service provider ..

I bought SONY BRAVIA 22'' EX3 with which the company lucratively give the three month free Airtel Digital TV connection @ Rs.725. But when you call the customer care of Airtel (stupid of all) for generating customer ID (it takes time) and then your phone number takes 1 day to register in theri database (big problem) the worst is - before hearing your grievance they will try to upsale the other products such as HD TV connection, etc etc packages. that a new client is calling you for assistance and you are up selling other products.
Managed to get some executives number from the store where I first inquired about the TV, he took all my serial number, SPS number o the card I got with the TV and promised me to send people for the installation the next day. Even worst, the installer called and promised 1 hour which has till not happened (its already 24 hrs). Interestingly everyone's mobile is switched off.
They are all looters. WHo suck the blood of the people. Airtel would give such a shame-full picture was not expected. These are the days when people promise hours and delivers it while taking one/two is itself a crime.
Hope I am being heard.
