I'm an airtel costumer, and am using airtel postpaid service.
I started using facebook's free site, 0.facebook.com, which facebook announces to be "without any data charges on Airtel Live network", hoping to have access to facebook for free.I registered at 0.facebook.com on 3rd march 2011.

But I was surprised when I saw that I had around Rs 150 charged on me (when I checked at *121*2#) after two days, on 5th april 2011.

Well, 0.facebook.com is not more than a kilobit per page and there is no meaning for charging me Rs. 150 in only two days.

When I called the customer care they told me that they had not heard of any site as 0.facebook.com and told me that I am ought to have charged for any site that I open through Airtel Live settings.

When I opened Airtel's online bill viewing and checking service (at www.airtel.in), upon logging with my username and password, I was notified that they are unable to process my request and to try later.

Please help me out of this problem and please refund me the money if possible or take concerned steps.

    Hello,

    I have taken Airtel broadband connection few months back for Higher education purpose. It was working well until 12 Feb 2011 but suddenly I started facing problem of frequent disconnection. Connection is not stable for 10 minutes also some time & speed is tremendously reduced.

    I have launched several compalints with Airtel customer care. First complaint was given on 15 Feb 2011. All the time they are assuring problem will be solved in 24 Hrs but these 24 Hrs are not yet completed.

    I am suffering a lot due to this & I have called several times for this to Airtel. I have also given compliant with nodal office & also with appelete. But until this time no one have time to look after it.

    Instead they send sms like..problem has been resolved (without attending),you were not in house..our people have visited(whereas nobody have visited us)..

    I want a quick solution on this problem ..Pls help me..

      I am using the number [protected].
      this is my additional number which i do not use regularly and each time i insert this card and start using it its balance is reduced by 50 to 100 rupees due to activation of some or other service. Then i have to call those arrogant customer care executive and talk with them just to here that we can not give you the refund and all. after convincing them for so many times they give me the refund. this time also same thing happened. I haven't used the mobile for so many days and after starting it i found that the balance is reduced by almost 25 Rs. when i talked with customer care escalation officer (Mr Jitendra Kotwal), he said "we can not refund the amount. Do whatever you want to. Its not our fault that you do not use the number regularly. You need to check it regularly. And he was so confident that the service was activated by us. We haven't used it then how can we activate the service." These guys should be shamed of doing such things. Each time i start using this card i come to know about some service. Airtel is hope less and should be penalized for such things.

      Please help me in this.

        HI ,

        I have taken a airtel digital tv connection 4 months ago.

        I have recently moved to a new place with in the same area(i.e whitefield).

        I have raised a request for relocation 5 days back.i.e. 02-mar-2011.

        They gave me a request number and told me that it will be done in 48 hours .

        They gave me a phone number of the engineer.

        he never called me and I tried his number and I was not able to reach him for 2 days.

        I really do not know what is their SLA for this kind of request.

        It is bad from their part not fixing the antenna for 5 days.

        I have missed all the important cricket matches.

        God knows when they will fix it.

        Airtel is a worst brand!!!

        Hi

        I bought SONY BRAVIA 22'' EX3 with which the company lucratively give the three month free Airtel Digital TV connection @ Rs.725. But when you call the customer care of Airtel (stupid of all) for generating customer ID (it takes time) and then your phone number takes 1 day to register in theri database (big problem) the worst is - before hearing your grievance they will try to upsale the other products such as HD TV connection, etc etc packages. that a new client is calling you for assistance and you are up selling other products.

        Managed to get some executives number from the store where I first inquired about the TV, he took all my serial number, SPS number o the card I got with the TV and promised me to send people for the installation the next day. Even worst, the installer called and promised 1 hour which has till not happened (its already 24 hrs). Interestingly everyone's mobile is switched off.

        They are all looters. WHo suck the blood of the people. Airtel would give such a shame-full picture was not expected. These are the days when people promise hours and delivers it while taking one/two is itself a crime.

        Hope I am being heard.

          Hi,

          My name is Hafizuddin Ansari from Howrah. I am trying to change my current mobile service provider to Uninor. Presently I am using Airtel and my mobile number is [protected]. From the last 45 days I am trying for number portability to switch my mobile number from Airtel to Uninor. For this I sent an SMS for PORT number and then submitted the necessary documents to Uninor.
          After two weeks Uninor replied that Airtel is not realeasing the number due to some technical errors. When I approached to Airtel customer service then they replied that everything from their end is OK and there is some fault from Uninor. I contacted Uninor and they said that they are OK from their side. Later after lot of request Uninor asked me to re-submit the application. As per their request, I have submitted the documents again. But later I got the same response.
          Uninor again said that it is the fault of Airtel and when contacting Airtel then they are saying that its Uninor fault. Later I visited Airtel Service Centre in Howrah Dobson Road and they said that it is TRAI who is not allowing me for number portability.
          Please suggest whom should I go and what should I do to solve this problem as soon as possible.

          I went to Uninor store on Monday and I got a written letter from them that the application is canlled by Airtel and not from Uninor. They also informed that Airtel did not mention any reason for the same. When I visited the Airtel store then again the people sitting over there are saying after seeing the letter that its not Airtel's fault. When I asked them in written then they simply denied and asked me to contact the Nodal Officer withour letting me know the reason for cancelling the application.

          PLEASE HELP ME.

          As per your resolution I sent a mail to the adresses which you have mentioned.

            Respected Sir,

            I am Sarath P Raj from Triupunitura in Ernakulam dist. in Kerala. I have using Airtel prepaid connection for the past 5 months [[protected]]and I have charged for value added service of Airtel for 3 times without my knowledge. Once my account was put in hold by Airtel for the address verification purpose and I went to the nearest Airtel office in Ernakulam which in Elamkulam. And they verified my account and when i reached my account Airtel has took my Rs 25/- for using a value added service.
            When I called their customer care office in the number 198, the customer executive told that I had used their offer to talk with a film star which was in the period my account was in the hold for the address verification.
            I couldn't understand how that became possible since they airtel executive told me that I wont be able of receiving and incoming or make any outgoing calls.
            The next time they charged me Rs 25/- again claiming that I had downloaded java games from their Airtel live. I didnt connected to their any portals and it was downloaded automatically that too I had complained there and the deactivated that offer and I told them to activate the Don't Disturb service and they told that they had activated that still I'm receiving those unwanted message from Airtel.
            Before two days again I received a offer message from Airtel and when I was notified with a new message in my cell phone, I opened it to see whom it and it was a offer message from Airtel and when I opend the message, the product has been activated even without clicking the link the had provided and again they charged me Rs 10/- for downloading a java game from them without my knowledge.
            Now I understood the cheating of Airtel that, they had made these offer message automatic activation when a customer is opening to read whom send the message.
            Airtel has deducted my Rs 60/- claiming that I'm using their value added service which are activated by them and not me and am also not satisfied with their customer care executive's response.

            Hoping that my compalint against this will be considered and expecting justice.

            I have a complaint regarding your Automatic Activation Services... On my No. You have activated Caller tunes without any Prier information and my balance is already started to deducted... i have already spoken to the Coustomer Care but i havent got any Good responce from that side... and as i m using my No. there was NO Caller tune activated on my No. bt i Got a Sms from ur side thats is of Balance Deduct I.e. Rs. 60/- from 90 Days...
            I have spoken to your one of the Executive they put my Phone on HOld for 27 mins... but i havnt got any responce still and now they have activated my caller tune after my call... which i really dnt want...
            ... Hope you will revert me asap... otherwise i have to take anymore actions on this...
            Matter is not of Balance or MOney... its of Services and Informations only... i m w8ing for ur responce ASAP...

              I have been facing problems with the Airtel DTH Set Top Box (STB) ever since its installation in Jan 2010. The STB was replaced on many ocassions during the warranty (6 months). Thereafter each time, they charged service charges for replacing the STBs. Even during the replacement it is common to see the technician trying out 2 or 3 STBs before finding one that 'works'. However it works only for a few weeks and fails again. Please note that the replacement STBs are not new but pieces that have been repaired over and over numerous times.
              This time I refused to pay service charges and asked Airtel to replace the STB free of cost because I cannot be expected to keep on paying for sub-standard service and poor quality of STBs. After numerous complaint over 5 days, I got a call from Airtel yesterday that my STB would be replaced Free of Cost. However when the technician arrived, he said that he was not aware of any such offer and that I would have to pay for the replacement. He called up the service centre who also confirmed that the charges would have to be paid. I called up the call centre and they also were not aware of any such offer and said that I would have to pay. The tel. no. from which I got the call regarding the free of cost replacement was not reachable.
              I reluctantly agreed to pay (because of the ongoing world up cricket matches which I did not want to miss). However, even the replacement STB was found to be defective on installation! Thank god it happened right away. Had it happened later, I would again have had to pay serrvice charges for another replacement. This has reinforced my belief that the Airtel STBs are indeed sub-standard. I think it helps the company generate constant revenue through service charges; the customer be damned, they couldn't care less.
              I do not feel like wasting any more time and energy on complaining again and again and have decided to end this issue once and for all. I have therefore asked Airtel to terminate my DTH connection immediately and refund the balance amount in my account. If they do not act promptly, I plan to take the matter to the consumer court and also claim compensation for mental agony and harrassment.

                If you cant get this, i wish to disconnect my subscription. I had enough of your irresponsible replies and call.

                Please don't call me and ask me to contact IPTV helpline [protected]. I have called several times in the last one month and got the response from them that they are pre-sales helpline and dont have access to backend application to change the IPTV package for existing customers.

                I want call only from Appellate Officer who is responsible for IPTV connection. I certainly don't encourage anyone else to call me. Please don't waste my time,strictly.....

                  This mail is OBVIOUSLY aimed at the Chairman and CEO of Airtel Group. Gentlemen would you all ever get to know the poor quality of service Airtel provides to us?

                  Do you all ever get a feed back that Airtel sucks?
                  Do you know how frustrating it is to try and communicate with the majority of you Airtel customer service people??
                  the problems we face-
                  1. your customer service people are almost illiterates. You give an option of English/ Hindi but none of them are capable enough to speak in English at all! Why do you get people in for the english department when they are not eligible??

                  2. Your broad band service is not upto the mark. You rake in money but never have the time to improve on it. Money is the final end point of the road of improvement for you Mr. Mittal i presume.

                  3. Please kindly train your customer service people in a way that they can use their brains a little bit rather than just to mumble out technical details exactly the way they've been taught. When they start conversing they seem like a group of pigeons- same brain dead answers. Do they understand what they do???

                  PLease kindly improve your service Mr. Mittal and Mr. Kapoor. BUt the shame in India is that all the telecommunication lines are as bad as each other. So the competition is in nothing except which Chairman rakes in more money.

                  Airtel Landline — Over Billing & QOS

                  I have made complaing Regarding ISD over charges .
                  & even BTSOL & Airtel Switch team has verified the problem of over charging in ISD .

                  Still i cont... to have the same problem .

                  1: when Airtel charges for TDM Voice why is the Quality offered is VOIP ?
                  where the recivers reive our call as no number / local number /Private number .
                  and quality of voice is horriable, billing is overcharged.

                  On an average its 10 % of the bill.
                  all my email to Nodal & support have gone unreplied tlll date in last 3 Years except automated reply.

                  Hope Big Telco like airtel will at least care to reply to genuine customers email.

                  I fully agree with the post and think that all my points have been brought forward in this post.
                  To add my comments, I will say that Airtel is basically a money sucking company which knows only to mint money without thinking what their customer is receiving in return. Perhaps they are too proud to be Numero Uno. But they do not know that what goes up comes down with the same speed. A little example is they charge 50 p per minute for listening to their customers. Has the company has gone so bankrupt that they feel proud to charge this 50 paise which even a beggar on the street does not accept. Change you attitude towards customers right now else the customer will change you. Is the message clear Mr. Mittal.
                  I support the views and concerns raised by my fellow sufferer in the hands of Airtel.
                  Airtel is just minting the money by cheating the customers through activating the value added services even without a customer subscribing for. That is why Mr.Mittal and Kapoor are so rich in India. They are sucking the blood of the
                  customers on whose income they are runnig the show. In India, every Indian wants to have a value for their money. But not by the type of value which the Airtel is extending. Mr.Mittal you may be sitting in a highly sofisticated Air conditioned office and house but don't forget that all these have come from the common man's earning.

                  Even I am one of the dissatisfied customer's of Airtel. As mentioned above no body seems to be literates. They do not know even to talk a single sentence in English correctly. Above all this they take fake complaints in the sense they take only complaints which they think is easier for them to resolved and rest of the issue what the customer says over the call will not be recorded at all anywhere in any of the request number howmanyever times you call. Because I experienced the same kind of , useless and frauduelent service. I have been on the call since Mar 11 2011 until Mar 29 2011 for the same issue and I have spoken with nearly 10 different people starting from Customer Cre till Cancellation desk and all of them seem to be useless and fraudulent people who give only fake and false promises. I will definitely share my horrible expereince to all my friends, colleagues and relatives and save them from using this service. Airtel Sucks!!!
                  I fully agree with the views expressed by all the above fellow sufferers like me. I had a life time prepaid connection for the past 7 years. This number is used by me in all my contacts all over india and abroad, bank accounts, mutual fund investments etc

                  The connection was obtained after furnishing all documents such as address proof, identity proof etc.

                  I had been abroad recently for about 5 months and on my return to India, to my surprise and dismay, I find that my connection is disconnected and stopped working though it had a balance of over Rs 1000/-. I took up the matter as usual on 121 only to be told rudely that my number is disconnected and it is recycled and nothing can be done about it and I have to forfeit the balance too. I never got any intimation or notice that it will be disconnected as per their so called process.

                  I was never told that connection will be disconnected if not used for a few months. It is illegal to disconnect a live line without giving sufficient notice to the subscriber.

                  I visited the air tel customer service center in Hyderabad and requested for help. They said they cannot do anything about it.

                  I sent an email to their nodal officer for andhra circle and got a reply that nothing can be done about it and they were gracious to advice me to go for another connection

                  I sent an email to their appelate for andhra circle with the same result.

                  Now I intend to write to TRAI and ombudsman.

                  The service is terrible and totally unsatisfactory. My telephone number which was illegally disconnected by Airtel was [protected]. My email id is [protected]@gmail.com

                  Is there anything else I can do. I also intend to file a case with consumer court.
                  Everyone is right. Who is that Rakesh Ranga (This fellow does not exist)?
                  Even I had similar bad experience from Airtel mobile.

                  On 27th of May 2011 suddenly my outgoing call got disconnected. When I enquire about the same in 121 they have told me I have to submit the documents in the nearest Airtel office to continue the Airtel service. The same day I have submitted the doucments in one of Airtel outlet in Bangalore and they have told it will take3days to get reactivated.. After 4th day of document submission I called 121 asking weather document has been received or not. They have told they have receieved it yet. On the fourth day they stopped my incoming calls also. Again I went to Airtel office to check the same.They have confirmed they have submitted documents to Airtel. It will take another 2 more days to get it processed. When I called Airtel about the status of document. They are saying now the mobile number has been recycled. I need to go for a new number? This is the number I have given in all my bank and communication. Now I am not even able to any online transaction also. Whom do we need contact for such action from Airtel.

Purchased a new connection from your Airtel Outlet at 3B2, Mohali from Gurprit (Executive) and paid him sum of Rs 300 for registration of new connection as per company policy. he provided me a sim with MDN number [protected] and told me that somebody may visit at my home at above mentioned address for Verification with in some days but there is no visit made to my home till today and the Mobile number is also barred from your end . When i asked your CCE at 121 he told me that my services are discontinued due to house found locked or person not residing at this address.
                  Please tell me is this possible that a connection is given to me and i paid Rs 300 for the registration at store and after that when i got my bill after sum days of activation the amount of rs 300 is still there added in grand total of Rs 500 and see my foolishness that i paid it also on 17/05/2012 with rect. number [protected] . Why ? and second thing is this i received your welcome letter at the same address. Then how is this possible that your verification guy came and found my house locked at day time or i m not residing there.
                  This is my request to you please looks into the matter and if possible re-initiate the verification tell me the other process to continue my services

                  One of that latest money making racket of airtel is PC Secure Services. Even if you dont opt for it, it is suddenly pushed down your throat, through an email stating that you have asked to start for the services, even though you have never asked for it. This is a deliberate ploy to fleece customers money, for services that they do not opt. You will have to go through a whole process of addressing dumb customer service executives (guess the word executive is grosssly inappropriate here !!), and pay money for your complaint !!! Airtel wake up, smell the coffee before it gets too late... Guess their new ad actually means JO TERA HAI WHO MERA HAI AUR JO MERA HAI WOH BHI MERA HAI !!! Would get out of Airtel Broadband ASAP.

                  I've purchased a 3G device with postpaid connection on 29/10/2012 from Airtel store located at E-1/1, Sector-7, Rohini with the name of Ahuja & Co. I've opted for Rs.950 plan which is an unlimited plan. After 5-6 days the speed of the device was slow, when I contacted the customer care department of airtel they told me that the usage limit of your plan was exceed the normal limit and also told me that on my device plan of 450 was activated. When I contacted the store from where I purchased the device they told me that they can submit a request for plan upgrade. Before 5-6 days my number was locked when I contact the customer service they told me that I've exceeded my maximum billing amount and told me to pay Rs.1348 for 10 day o[censored]sages from 29/10/2012 to 8/11/2012 under 450 plan. When I contacted the airtel store they are telling me to submit the amount. In this case by the real plan the maximum bill I've to pay for 10 days is around 400 but the store person put the blame on airtel customer service team and customer care put the blame on airtel store. I've the copy of bill on which they mentioned the 950 plan when I purchased the device. Please help me.

                    Iam carring Airtel Prepaid Connection [protected]. I given MNP Request to switch to Vodafone. I got the UP ID AT644544 from 1901.

                    I submitted all the papers to vodafone. After couple of days i got the message from Vodafone as "Your Porting Request AT644544 dated 06Mar11 has been rejected by your correntopeator due to The porting code does not match the Donor allocated porting code for this number. Pls contact your current operator for further details"

                    I contacted Airtel but the didnt respond.

                    Kindly help to sort out this.

                        I have never activated friends chat on my mobile. But a message came on 5/3/11 saying 30 Rs has been deducted from my account. I was astonished as how could they deduct this charge without my consent.

                        I even dont know what is friends chat on airtel.

                        Tried around 50 plus times to complain to airtel customer care but they the IVR is a bogus thing. You cant ever talk to a customer care executive to know why they have deducted the amount. When I reach the IVR, they say 50 paise would be deducted for 3 min for talking to customer care, I press yes by pressing 1 and still the IVR say thank you for calling customer care. Dial 121 for knowing balance.

                          I recharged my prepaid Airtel account for Rs. 50 on 27th feb/2011,and i immediately got a message that account has been recharged. But for some unknown reason Rs. 30 was cut from my prepaid account. I have not taken any paid services like hello tunes, caller tunes etc. This is not the first time such an incident is happening. Please help me by giving the appropriate place to complain. No customer care executive comes to line when i try to call. The call gets cut after some pre-recorded voice leads me to some other call.

                            I was an Airtel Broadbandi, Bangalore, user for nearly two years. The fixed line number allocated was 42115300. Throughout I faced minor issues with the service (bill not delivered, lack of automatic upgrade, no automatic change of billing address even though the internet connection was shifted !, etc.). The internet connection was however stable and speed was as desired.

                            In June 2010 and July 2010 I received a bill for Rs. 800 (Rs 400 per month) for local circle calls. I refused to pay the bill unless I got itemized call details since I rarely use the land line and have no local contacts. I used to get a call from Airtel almost every alternate day for about a month inquiring whether I had paid the bill and my response each time was "Give me itemized bills and I will make the payment". At the end of the call airtel rep always promised me itemized bill. The bill never arrived. Finally I lost my temper and was angry on two calls. This time they did send me an email with by billing invoice. No itemized call details ! After that they disable the connection. I complained again and this time the rep said we can't provide itemized call details ! I needed internet badly so I went ahead made the payment and things were smooth. I did not get call charges worth a rupee in the next months.

                            However in the month of October - November 2010 during which time I was out of town for 20 days I was surprised and shocked to receive a bill of approximately Rs 1000 for local calls. I was furious. I complained refused to pay till call details records were provided and the same cycle continued. I did not get the call records! Finally I had it with Airtel and I asked for cancellation of the connection.

                            After a month an agent from airtel came to my place for final settlement. I told him that I'll pay if I get call detail records. He agreed and asked me to file a complaint with customer care which I promptly did.

                            I got no reply for about over a month.

                            Harassment

                            After a month suddenly in the morning I got a call from Delhi. A person claiming to be a section officer for Delhi police started firmly questioning me on my personal details and asked me why I was not in Delhi High Court. I was naturally shocked and asked him what is this regarding. He said did you not get two court notices. I said no. Then he told me
                            Bangalore police were on their way to arrest. Me and my family were thouroughly shocked with what was happening. He then gave me a number of another person who claimed to be a
                            high court advocate while refusing to divulge any information. I called the lawyer who then told me that Bharti Airtel has filed a case against me for non payment of dues and to
                            ld me that they were filing criminal charges for not appearing in Delhi court hearing which just finished in Delhi. I had never received the notice which I told her. She said sh
                            e has proof. I told her that the only proof acceptable is my signature and that instead of police coming to me I am going to the police with there two numbers. She hung up at th
                            is. Next the alleged section officer from Delhi called. He told me that he would make sure that nothing happens if I pay up in half an hour. I agreed just to get some advice fro
                            m my dad who happend to be a CID officer. He immediately told me that this was just a scam to force me to pay up. After half an hour the alleged police officer calls back and as
                            ks me if I paid up. I told him I didn't and asked him for his full name and rank and posting. He got furious and started abusing me calling me a thief stealing from Airtel. I to
                            ld him that I know he is just a collection agent for airtel and I am not afraid he could do what he wants at which point he started using vulgarity. I told him about my dad bein
                            g in police which is when he hung up.

                            After this incidednt I have again placed three different complaints to airtel one for harrasment, and two for itemized bill and they continue to send me the billing invoice. I t
                            ried to contact airtel officials higher up but the reps just send me on a three hop drive from R.T.Nagar to Jayadeva Hospital to Domlur. Each office replies that they will resol
                            ve this problem but no result yet.

                            Should I go to police or should I go to a consumer court. I have been wronged on three accounts, incorrect billing, lack of transparency and harrassment.

                            Airtel — WRONG BILLING AND NO ITEMIZED BILL

                            Sir,
                            I am using the no# 98100144**... I am currently using 495 top of the plan. I have 30paisa calling and 1 R SMS rate
                            What surprises me is that though I have high usages of talk time, my SMS rate has been increasing ever since 5 to 6 months
                            I have a monthly subscription of itemized billing – rental paid every month 50 Rs
                            And guess what, I only get the call rate notification and nothing regarding the smses... When asked, I have been told that Airtel doesn’t provide this facility...
                            And when I persist, they send me the same by courier and promise me that in future I will receive the itemized bill in full (call rate as well as smses). But that was only for one month .
                            Funnily I am also being deducted money for the so called value added services for Airtel live –and the rep on call insist that I have subscribed to it and they insist that I have used this service no matter how much I plead innocent... They literally obtrude their policy rules and insist on something that you as a customer have not used.
                            The icing on the cake is your conversation with the team leader who repeats the same as the rep on the call only that it seems that he hasn’t taken or reviewed his customer relational skills.
                            The action to the reaction is that it makes my head boil!
                            Logic says to me that why will use 432 RS on SMS every month when I have a 30paisa calling?
                            And if I want to cross check then why is it that I am not allowed to receive the SMSES data
                            (Every other subscriber gives you full details – there’s no concept of policy stating that SMSES data cannot be sent)
                            And yes, I only want the hard copy by mail and I am strictly against checking the details on net. Sorry if that hampers Airtel saving paper policy! (I am poor I don’t have net at home and don’t have the access to It anywhere else)

                            Broadband & fixedline phone — Wrong billing & harassement

                            This is in ref of my tel nos.[protected] &[protected]. After very first month of installation of these two telephones, i requested for surrender of internet facility & change of tariff plan to voice plan only on these two numbers.
                            I was offered a voice only monthly plan of Rs. 180 rental which i approved of, and your 121 customer care executive assured me the applicability from next billing onwards.
                            But to utter regret, the same has not been done despite of my repeated reminders, written requests & follow up with collection executives.
                            As a result, i ceased usage of both the numbers whereas a few payments were also made Despite of non compliance o[censored]r repeated assurance.
                            I am fed up now of receiving ur nonsense calls of harassements everyday and want to surrender both the numbers.
                            I can forward reference nos.of my requests and photocopies ofwritten requests along with dates of despatch for ur convenience. Kindly look into the matter at the earliest & redress my greivance. Looking forward to an action suitable o[censored]r reputation & committment.

                            Airtel Broadband — Incorrect Billing and Harassment

                            Hi,

                            I had Airtel Broadband connection and now i've disconnected the line after issues pertaining to billing which was very common.

                            I had unlimited plan and changed to limited plan for a month and after that period i reverted back to unlimited but this Airtel did not reflect this change in the next bill and despite repeated calls to the customer care regarding this, which they told will solve in 2 days the issue was never happened. Repeatedly i was bombarded with their stupid on-line calls to pay up the bill.

                            And after a month and half of calling to customer care things didn't change much, now that I've disconnected the line, am getting calls from collections department to pay it up. These guys sound quite rude and now they are threatening to send a legal notice and are saying i cannot do anything but to pay up the amount.
                            Which amounts to close to 5000/-

                            Airtel Broadband — wrongly claim higher amount & give harassment calls

                            Hi this is Monika Grover resides paschim Vihar,delhi,using one broadband connection . I request airtel people to disconnect my connection due to some renovation going on my place. my request has been registered with them whose Complaint ref no is 902123. After few days i received call from representative by suggesting us to keep your connection temporary disconnect without any cost & afterwards whenever you required get it active . now after 3 months they come up with huge bill saying temporary disconnect will cost me Rs 250/pm. when i ask them to show some proof ,then they start harrasing me & says recovery agents will automaticall get out their money out of you .
                            I am MBA gradaute,working with software company with persuing CS. so i can't expact such behaviour from airtel guys. Kindly resolve my issue.

                            Airtel Broadband — bill not received and incorrect bill

                            Hi,

                            I dont have any words to describe about the airtel customer service. I took this airtel broadband connection in the month of june but tillnow i havent received any bill from them. I have called their customer services and complaints 198 and nobody was able to resolve the problem everytime they are disconnecting the calls i dont know how many complaints i raised for this everytime the advsr will say that yes you will get a bill within 3 working days. On top of this they will say each time that they have sent a bill and they will give somebody name. how can they send my bill to a diff person? it is really their inability to send a bill.

                            From the day 1 I have been facing these problem with airtel guys the person who came at the first time to collect the money and to register for the bb he told me that they can give 699 rs plan and for the first one week i would be having only limited option which is 4GB and after one week he promised me that i will be getting unlimited for the same price with reduced speed i accepted that and also he mentioned that the charge for the hub is only 600 Rs but when they came to install line the other person says that it is 800 Rs my impression on airtel gone from this point. When he took that money 699 while registering for this he said that they will install this within 4 days but i waited for this for 8 days I was really disappointed by each and every time with airtel this is not the customer service i am not going to recommend this to anybody in my life.

                            Now they are not leaving me any way as they are not sending bills but they will call to pay the bill and also after the first week i spoke to the guy who promised me that he is going to give unlimited bb but there is no response from him he says that he was busy and he will ask me to call again and again and after some time he told me that sir we will give from the next bill date 11/07/2011 but it is same story again that guy absconded and to verify this i spoke to airtel cust services on 12190 they told there is no order placed on the account for the unlimited option i spoke to them before 11/07/2011 to confirm this and also they told me that they dont have any option like that so i req them to close this account as i am not getting what i want and am not getting bills so they told me they will take req for this and again afte some time i got a call from one person he told me very nicely sir why dont yo go with unlimited for 599 Rs i said ok if you can give this for 599 am happy and he mentioned that it will be effective from 11/07/2011 as they can change the plan from only billdate so i said ok and I thought that problem was resolved but it was not as he hasnt placed any order to change my plan ....again same story am fedup with this and till now am waiting for my bills and again they told they are going to activate unlimited option i think i got it now again am not sure as they told me that they have activated it by 11/08/2011 postponed it seems??? for some reason...

                            Oh my got i never wrote this in my exams also these airtel making me to write like anything? I have never expected this kind of service from this company and they will disconnect the calls if you call the cust service because they cant deal with this and they cant answer my queries.........Finally now i asked one of the advsr my outstanding they are saying that it is around 1200 Rs......Tell me now what to do i paid already 699 and this bill is for two months it seems but after paying 699 also the charge is around 1200.....so for their mistake again they are charging late fee.. and they are telling that I have used extra bb so if am getting unlimited how can i exceed with a speed of 256kbps i will not be able to download with this speed ..? this is nt acceptable as they may think that am only one cust and they can ignore me but i dont bother but i wanted to tell this story to be cautious about this airte ...in my opinion i suggest not to take this bb connection even u will face same problems..If you call cust service u will not get help ? and they will disconnect your call after placing your call on hold for almost 20 mts that is time waste.

                                Myself dolly my number is ([protected]) i have port in to your airtel service on 19 feb 2011 from the day i am facing a problem before porting, I had filled a form from internet for porting from aircel to airtel as when it was going to be port i was told that i will get a scheme i.e 1000 sms (local) free for 60days, airtel to airtel 10 paisa, other 30 paisa, STD 40 paisa (60days) FTT on 30,60,120 (30days) now from the day of porting i am giving complaints but as usual theysay it will take 2 days ,2 days .....as going on now today is 5 march 2011 still my problem is not yet solved i dont have enough time to go in any airtel gallary & show the sms , i complaint to Mr rahul area manager of mumbai (chembur) he tried but still i have not got free sms scheme only he provided me call scheme that is airtel to airtel 10 paisa other 30 paisa

                                I am very upset with this porting although i have got sms from airtel on 24/02/2011 9:09 am & the msg was like this....

                                Then whats the use of giving this sms if you cant provide any service to a porting customer so how come i would think to continue with you your senior Executive tried to help me but it is of no use now they are saying me one scheme can be activated for free 100 sms everyday is that i have to recharge with 4 rs but their will be condition that i will be charged 1.50 or 1 rs for 1st 2 sms so it is not o[censored]se if i pay 3rs daily then i will get the scheme then why the hell you provided me any scheme before porting really

                                My number is not working from 4th april to 14th april. So i m very bother by your porting service.I m facing more problem your portiblity procedure. It is procedure only 7 days but there are 10 already go but my no is not working.

                                  The problem is connected to Airtels Rs 98/2gb monthly plan which is clear (In Rs and in GBs)
                                  However the customer being told that after 2gb its 30 paisa/ 50kb is not plain and clear

                                  "Additional GB charged @ 6000/- is something which i was never informed" and it is Shocking


                                  Also normally i look for msgs from Airtel under the TAG of 121,247.
                                  Whats the Reason of sending Critical/ Important information under AD- Service ??.

                                  The 121 msg which i received on 16/2/11, is the first time i became aware at that time the bill dated 12/2/11 was already generated.
                                  that's when i called to check the issue on 19/2/11

                                  why no intimation was given through calls ?? (when the charges are going above normal)


                                  i called back again around the 28th feb to know further as i was promised to receive a call back.


                                  Also now when i checked the AD_Service- the first msg sent to inform me about the charges was on 9/2/11 by then gprs charge was already 31 times over ??

                                  and the second AD-Service msg just after another 5 days on 14/2 the gprs charge was already 120 times over.


                                  Hope the issue is resolved with YOUR help

                                  Sorry to say that the issue is not resolved so far. Also i have not received any proper communication from any airtel department. Its already been more than 20 days.

                                  Hope Airtel will resolves the issue.

                                    I sent the e mail earliar on 02/03/2011 to you to refund Rs 300/ due

                                    to failure of mobile recharge. but to my utter surprise instead of Rs300/

                                    to refund, only Rs50/ was refunded on 05/03/2011.

                                    I wanted to recharge the mobile -[protected] through AXIS NET BANKING

                                    for Rs 50/ on 01/03/2011 and the message came" operating system not available,

                                    please try later". In this way I tried five(5) times on 01/03/2011 and on 02/03/2011

                                    one(1) time . But six times my S/B A/C -[protected] was debited

                                    @ Rs 50/ each totalling Rs 300, but the mobile [protected] was not recharged

                                    a single time.

                                    Please look after the matter so that remaining amount Rs 250/ may kindly

                                    be credited at least to ensure to credit your good-will & to instil confidence

                                    in public that they have no apprehension to recharge through NET BANKING.

                                    And at the same time it is a message that we get justice from this platform ;

                                    other wise the situation makes us believe that if mobile recharge is failed but

                                    A/C is debited , there is no guarantee to get the money back.

                                      According to TRAI FAQ question 15, customer is not supposed to pay any amount to Airtel DTH company or to service engineer if there is any problem with the SetTop box. When I called to airtel customer care one of the execuitve told they wont follow TRAI regulations and he mentioned they will replace/repair for only one year and customer need to pay 100Rs to service Engineer everytime he makes a visit.

                                      Why can't Customer go to nearest Airtel DTH Customer Center shop get settop checked in Airtel Shop and if problem with settop Airtel engineer in Airtel Shop can replace right there before engineer visit. I have seen the basic issue will be the settop box not performing properly.

                                      System Operator malfunctions?

                                      upto five years) as the case may be, within 24 hours of receipt of the complaint of malfunctioning. This will not apply to cases of complaints of malfunctioning where the
                                      set top box has been tampered with by the subscriber. .

                                        I m an normal retailer of Bharti Airtel Lmt. where i provid sam services for customer like- salling airtel sim, recharges, mobile bill payments, broadban bill payment etc.

                                        But after the sim activation i had to request to distributer to pick that customer id. But they never pick at right time due to that customer's sim got barried from Airtel.

                                        Please take action against them to modify this services
