Dear Airtel Ops Manager,

I want your urgent intervention on to get my account balance corrected by rupees 310.

Case summary:-
 Refilled my account with above mentioned amount = 16th Feb’11
 When checked on 18th Feb’11 services were not working
 Logged complaint on 18th Feb’11 and on 19th
 case id =5517964
 Till 20th Feb’11 issue is not resolved.
 I had spoken to various customer care executive (Siddharth, Priyam, Mayur,Praveen) and none could resolve the query today spoke to supervisor Monika and Rahul But she kept on speaking on different topic and was very rude and aggressive.

Made me feel as if I’m a beggar and she’s doing great favor by listening to me and finally disconnected the call.

I have only two question for you:-

1. When will this error get corrected?
2. What do you have to say about the customer service provided by your executives and supervisor? Do you recommend that we should stop your services because your team can’t manage it well?

    I am the owner of a postpaid connection from airtel.I had a phone call from a local police station and a officer visited my house regarding phone calls from my number to another phone number.The owner of the number is accused of theft.The officer said that i have made those calls from my phone number about 1-1.5 months ago...the number of calls was 16.But i even dont know the number.I called that number in front of the officer and obviously the owner of that number dont even know me.The officer left and he also said me not to receive any further calls from the number,if it comes.I called airtel customer care after and they said it is impossible,WHERE I KNOW CALLER ID SPOOFING is possible.The following article from wikipedia proves my statement..(http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Caller_ID_spoofinghttp://en.wikipedia.o...

    I want to stop the connection,and want to block the number also.But my complaint is how come a company like bharti airtel have such a loophole?This kind of problems is not expected anyway...

      Sir, I have broadband connection number [protected] situted at mohannagar durg. in bill for the period 17/01/2011 to 18/02/2011 in bill details an ammount of RS.285 is shown as call to otherthan airtel mobile however the calls were no made by us. moreover in webside call details not shown against this bill, except this all other call details are available.

        I have been following with Airtel for my network signal fluctuation at my house which is located in Marathahalli, Bangalore since Nov 2009. I have been getting assurances from then that the network issue will be fixed soon. Further there are 2 tickets open with them and no one has taken any action to correct the same.

        I can not change my number as I have updated the same in many importatnt places. They are simply taking the advantage of the same. Even Airtel people know about the issue of fluctuation and no one is interested in taking aaction to correct the same.
        Even if I have tried for Mobile Number Portability and again these people called me told soon the network issue will resolved and by this time my MNP number is also expired.

        I do not know how to take action on Airtel. Please help me .

          This is with reference to My Reliance CDMA Prepaid Mobile No. [protected] to which I liked to convert into Airtel GSM Prepaid through MNP. In context to that I have generated UPC Code RDMG57UT & submit the documents to Airtel Dealer on 20th Jan for porting. After 7 days he returned back my documents without mentioning any reason to me after doing great follow up with him. When I speak to the customer care of Airtel they suggested me to submit my documents along with the request directly to their Airtel Store.

          Than again I made a request through their Airtel Store "Elegance Distribution" by generating the new UPC Code RD129958 on 1st February. After doing repeatedly follow ups & visiting this store around 4-5 times they cannot able to state the reason why my no. was not converted into Airtel till 16th Feb.

          Than again I made the third request to another Airtel store "Sanchi Infotel" on 17th Feb by submitting my documents & generating UPC code RD173491 for the third time but till today my mobile no. is not registered is with Airtel & due to this reason they neither can track the status of my MNP request nor they can register my complaint for this irregularity.

          Even their store people can't able to tell exactly where my all the requests are stucking up instead they are giving me the vague excuses regarding technical problems just to buy more time. Talking to their customer care is another headache as if I ask them to get us speak to their senior since they are unable to solve my problem they just keep you on hold & disconnect your phone call after 15 minutes of good waiting time that some of their senior will come on to that phone call.

          This is ridiculous as this is not expected from the No.1 service providor of this industry.

          I would like to request Higher Officials to make some controlling point for these kind of irregularities as until & unless there is no controlling point, this MNP service will not be at all beneficial for Indian Customers.

          I would also request you to kindly look into this matter so that this problem can be resolved at earliest.

          Hi,i'm vivek ahuja from punjab.I had a BSNL No. since 4 to 5 years old. i just port it into AIRTEL on 27 january, on 8 February, my no. is disconnected from BSNL, but still uptill now it is not activated in airtel, as per terms, i submitted idntity documents two time,more than 30 times i made complaints to customer care executives, more than 10 times to senior executives, once to Airtel Nodal officer Mr. Amitabh and also visited three times In AIRTEL office,but my no. is not activated, Plz help me what and how i can take legal action against company.....

            Hi My name sreenivas,I have disconnected the airtel digital tv account on january 24. They had taken my dish and set top from me. They promised me within 14 days they will send the balance amount to my addreess. Till now they have not send to my address. I have called up so many times to customer care. Every time they telling the same thing they will send within 14 days. alomst 1 month over. No use calling customer care.

            Airtel is cheating me. Almost 2 months over.They have not resolved my issue. Kindly take strong action on them. I have call up more than 50 times and not getting proper response from them. Till now I have not refinded.

              Mobile Number Portability

              Dear Sir / Madam,

              This is Vishal Mohan from Delhi.

              I am an existing AIRTEL customer " +91 [protected]".
              My Complaint is that i want to switch over to Idea Cellular Ltd.
              I had received a message on[protected] stating " Your Unique Porting ID is AD864929 and the expiry date is[protected]".

              My request was successfully registered on the same day.

              After two days that is 18-02-11, I had received a message from 1901 stating that "your port in request for mobile number +91 [protected] has been REJECTED by your service provider due to LEGAL REASONS.

              I have contacted the customer care (121 and 198, [protected]) representatives (had to wait a lot to speak to an executive directly) to find out what the legal reason is and they that we are forwarding your call to our senior executive and then the call gets disconnected.

              I even called up Idea Cellular Ltd. customer care , where i was informed by them that they were happy for having chosen Idea and said that Airtel had rejected my application.

              Well i did get a call from airtel customer care every time. i did tell them that i'm no more interested in airtel (due to a number of reasons) & have decided to switch over to Idea.

              Now i have a few doubts,

              Firstly will this transfer happen ? if not, then will my number be still active?

              i do not mind getting a new simcard, but i would be happy if i can retain the same number.

              Please resolve my problem as soon as possible. Because airtel has reject my number portbility appilication without any reason. so plz help me

              Airtel — Rejection on my Number portability

              Dear Team,

              Pls register a complaint for the below issue:

              About 5 days before i have requested for the number portability to move to other network but the request has been rejected stating the contractual subscription/agreement issues.Pls clarify what is the reason of rejecting the request

              l I have been using the AIRTEL -Mobile Number:[protected] Connections from 2007. But right now my work place and and home does not have proper coverage so i planned to switch to Vodafone.

              But when i asked Airtel person they say that they have not rejected.

              Infact i want to change my network for sure. Dont want any compromising calls. I have provided enough time to satisfy me.

                  i have been using airtel digital tv since oct 2009. since then i am unable to view i tv, my account page and other services...and there is no improvement also..they have been saying that page is being updated...but no improvement.this is the worst dth provider in a.p with less number of news channels and poor customer resposibility...i have requested many times to add new news channels and also dd sapthagiri channel...but there is no response...is it possible to put complaint in consumer court for causing inconvinience...and also the customer care number is not working from bsnl mobile

                  My customer id is [protected] and i had requested for relocation of dish TV on 16/02/2011 which they promised to get it fixed by 17th evening, today its 23/02/11 and nobody has called me back. they had messaged me a number to contact in case problem is not resolved that number is either busy, not responding or switched off which is extremely irritating. i have called on the toll free number several times but after holding for 15-20 mins call drops off. i have lost more money trying to contact them than my 3 months subscription fee which is ridiculous. i highly recommend not to but dish TV connection due to horrible customer services.

                  I had purchased 32" Sony Bravia LCD before one week and after contacting several time to customer care on phone you people are not able to install Digital TV at my home (Junagadh, Pin 362001). Every time I had been diverted to different process to contact the dealer of Airtel Digital TV and asked for the installation.I had also tried for that and got replied that they do not have stock of HD TV. very ironic !!!

                  I have experienced very poor service from AirTel and it seems lack of networking and alignment in technical as well as sales team from Airtel Digital TV even before it yet to be installed. Eye sores for team Airtel way to go friends...

                    now today morning my no got disconnected without any information or intimation

                    due to this my business get stucked by airtel

                    also i want to know how can i start my no ASAP.

                    I have paid my all dues to earlier service provider (vodafone) and also i have visited Vodafone Gallary by today, they said no issue from our side and all clearance given by us.

                    so i called airtel customer care and told all story, so they said visit our gallary, after that i have visited our airtel gallary and they said u have to complain to customer care

                    so now what should i do and where should i go to get start my no by tomorrow morning it self.

                      i zafar khan,a user of airtel mobile connection complaints that even after activating DND i am recieving commercial calls and sms.It has been irritating a lot and i wish that this complaint is taken under consideration seriously and as soon as possible.My number is +91 [protected]

                      Profoundly it is regretted to state that on my airtel mobile no.[protected] unknown persons referring them advocates of Airtel Bharti Ltd., have made calls on 09/05/12, 15/05/12 and 21/05/12 with threat that in Tees Hazari Court, Delhi a case is being registered against me under section 417, 418, 419 & 420 IPC for non payment of dues ot Rs.12, 800/= and to get rid from further problem I must pay the amount to the person whose name will be intimated as soon as I agree in doing so.

                      I referred the matter to airtel authorities but yesterday by their email I noticed that they did not take it seriously
                      and on my mobile advised to report with police as above numbers do not pertain to them and they cannot help me though in the matter the prestige of airtel involved .

                      Please take up the matter appropriately and inform accordingly otherwise I have no option but to arrange the issue of
                      Legal Notice to airtel and the persons who made the calls whose identification has been sought from Local Police.

                        Hi ! I made 2 airtel recharge of Rs. 333 each on 20/02/2011 via ICICI Online banking for mobile number [protected]. Though the bank showed the transaction as "successful", I got a sms from 555555 stating that "The request cannot be processed. Please try after sometime". I have also not got the recharge amount in my mobile. Request Airtel to resolve my query.

                        I am Mr.Vijay Prabhudesai having Airtel mobile no.[protected]. On 9.4.2008 I converted this mobile from postpaid to prepaid, after visiting Airtel Galler, Thane. No information was provided to me that time. After 2 days as minimum recharge card of Rs.97/- was not available at the shop I recharged for Rs.200/-. Next month I purchased Rs.97 validity recharge card and tried to do the recharge but I was not getting the message "Service Class change violation." After calling customer care several times and after receing numerous complaint reference number till today the complaint has not been solved( even I mailed to [protected]@airtelindia.com). Today on 6.7.2008 anybody calling my mobile is giving the message " It is temporary out of service." If on the website it is showing that Rs.200/- recharge validity 30 days and Grace period 90 days how this is possible.Please help me out
                        I charged my daddy's mobile through internet banking on 18.06.2010 But till date it is not charged. The details are as under.

                            I am very frusturated by the Air Tel service since last one month. My cell number is [protected] and since last one month airtel activated a love pack without my concern and frequently charging 1 rs for 1 day.
                            I do not like such things from Air Tel and want to drop my sim card for forever.
                            This is frusration limit and giving warning to custmor care that if they will not deactive this unwanted love pack, i will charged case against the airtel service.

                              It being a trend of every company that they start any scheme on customer mobile without any intimation and deducting the charges for that scheme.I am air tel existing customer([protected]).They started a new sms scheme(job alert) on my mobile from last one month and deducting 1 rupee on daily basis.It is requested you please take necessary action against such theft by these communication companies and refund the same amount in account.

                                Cricket update services have been activated on my airtel Delhi number [protected] without my consent. I have even wrote email to stop the service and tried to stop the service by sms but it does not stop. Airtel have previously also activated these kind of services on my number on its own. Please stop this service at once and do not activate any service of this kind in future without my consent.

                                    I am now fed up of airtel services as they have gone haywire.
                                    Airtel is deducting money from account and even they have stopped the services of my no [protected].

                                    Now I have switched to vodafone and it is better than airtel ..sorry airtel.

                                    It is a request to all the users of mobile, please do not buy airtel connection as it has started cheating on consumers.

                                    They do not respond to customer's complaint.
                                    To my surprise the forms which we submit to the shopkeepers for prepaid number, do not go to the airtel office and are kept with the agents for weeks.
                                    This results in no outgoing and incoming calls and call centre employees say that our form has not been verified or ID is fake.

                                    I do not know what airtel has to say but i want to say that please do not buy airtel connection, rather go for vodafone or reliance atleast they do not cheat.

                                      I had subscribed to the Cricket Daily Pack Service. I had received a message saying "Congratulations! You have been successfully subscribed to Cricket Daily pack service.You will be charged Rs7/week.To deactivate Sms UNSUB SWCUP to 55383."
                                      I wanted to deactivate the pack so I smsed UNSUB SWCUP to 55383 and I got a message saying Invalid Keyword.
                                      This is wrong and I don't want to be charged for this service.

                                        why is airtel customer care not reachable or always busy.. its busy even when i call in midnight or early morning at 6am.
                                        i have got some complaint.
                                        Rs.20 have been deducted from my balance. i am calling customer care since so many days.
                                        why is airtel not willing to listen to their customers complaints? there is no such problem with all other companies like vodafone and tata indicom.
                                        i am extemely worried.. i need balance urgently and airtel is deducting balance unnecessarily by activating world cup alerts on my number.
