Sir ,
Am anilkumar kv, an airtel sim holder for more than 2 year. Am using my no. [protected]. Nowadays they(airtel) are simply activating hellotunes, cricket score update services, jokes services to my no. & taking money from my account without my knowledge. Twice i complainted the customer service centre and got my money back telling that they will not make such a mistake in future. But still they are activating some services to my no. without asking permission from me & withdrawing money from my account. Am a postgraduate degree holder . I can complaint to custemer service centre & can get my money back.Even my case is so then what about for the poor & uneducated customer of airtel . Please take this complaint seriously and solve it for me and our fellowbeings.

    AIRTEL is Rejecting my Porting Request but not they even inform me about the rejection by making one SMS.
    AIRTEL rejecting my MNP application. Process of Porting started on Date:10/02/2011 and porting id given to me is AZ145472. Which expires on Date:24/02/2011.
    I am using AIRTEL no [protected] (Nagpur,Maharashtra) for nearly the last 3 yrs . And i want to change my mobile operator Through mobile number portability from AIRTEL to TATA Docomo.
    And i went to TATA Docomo show room and i submit my id proof and porting charges porting ID.

    But i receive a message from TATA Docomo that AIRTEL mobile operator reject your porting . Then i went to the head office of AIRTEL (Dharmpeth area,nagpur) to know what is the problelm , they told me that there is no prob from AIRTEL side you have to contact TATA Docomo they havent complete the processes of porting ,so i again go to TATA Docomo office (civil lines,above icici bank Nagpur, Maharashtra). so they show me that AIRTEL had rejected my porting request so we can't help you in this.Then i again go to AIRTEL office and they again told me that thats not our resposibility they are simply delaying my complaint saying somany lies. from last 10,12 days they kicking me like footboll from AIRTEL office to TATA Docomo office but no onc can tell me the exact ptoblem. Actually MNP is a customer right. but here AIRTEL is denying that right for me.

    I am planning to file a complaint in consumer court for compensation. it is big mental harresment to me. PLz help me....

    about this problem i had called
    at AIRTEL customer care at 121 . 198 , 999 number several times and also visit the customer care office at nandanvan and head office at Dharmpeth.

      Airtel — Removal of cell Tower

      Sir,

      Sub:Request for the removal of cell tower in residential colony

      We as residents of telecom nagar colony,Gachibowli,hyderabad are facing health problems because of the cell tower located in our neighbourhood.

      As per the g.o no cell tower is to be located in the residential colony.But the airtel has put its cell tower in the heart of our residential colony that is in plot no:101 ,H.no 2-48/101.

      It has been there for the past 3 yrs.Hence i kindly request the aothorities to remove the cell tower in the residential colony.

      Transmission Towers — Health hazards caused by transmission towers.

      Sir/Madam,

      I live in Shalimar Bagh, and I am concerned about the transmission towers installed in my neighbourhood. There are two transmission towers and as you are aware of the health hazards caused by the radiations emitted from the towers I want you to do something about this. These radiations are more harmful than the pollution caused by vehicles and can cause several life threatening diseases. Everybody has right to live healthy and our health should not be in the hands of few selfish people and mncs. Please do something about this.

      I am certain that you will help me in sorting this problem.

      cell tower is at low level which causing health problems and the tower is below 15 meters height....which i think against the norms. most of the children's play on the building, they are effected.

      Airtel — Complaint against Cell Tower

      Sir,

      I would like to give a complaint regarding an Airtel tower in an area which in right in the middle of a residential colony and beside to my apartment Veera's Arcade. and the antenna's are facing towards my flat.

      The tower is located in Rajadhani Co-operative Housing Society,Near Kalyan theatre,Old Bowenpally, Hyderabad,Andhra Pradesh - 500011.

      On the south side there is a 5 storey apartment Thirumala Residency, which also will be in the main beam and 30 metres away.
      There are also many play schools for very small children in this residential locality.

      Around 30 families staying in it. There are lots of small children in the apartment. The fourth and fifth floors are in the main beam.
      Recently it has come in the newspapers that cell towers are not to be installed near schools, play grounds or in residential areas.

      And having the tower so near is a very serious health hazard for all the residents and am seriously worried for the health of my family, the other families in my apartment and the school kids.

      I request you to kindly shift the tower from the present location and move it far away from the residential area.

      Am attaching the layout from google maps.


      I am sure that Airtel will resolve this issue immediately with a high priority.

      then how do our cellular phones work?
      Cellular Phone Towers
      Cellular (cell) phones first became widely available in the United States in the 1990s, but their use has increased dramatically since then. The widespread use of cell phones has led to the placement of cell phone towers in many communities. These towers, also called base stations, consist of electronic equipment and antennas that receive and transmit radiofrequency (RF) signals.
      How do cellular phone towers work?
      Cell phone base stations may be free standing towers or mounted on existing structures, such as trees, water tanks, or tall buildings. The antennas need to be located high enough so they can adequately cover the area. Base stations usually range in height from 50-200 feet.
      Cell phones communicate with nearby cell towers mainly through radiofrequency (RF) waves, a form of energy in the electromagnetic spectrum between FM radio waves and microwaves. Like FM radio waves, microwaves, visible light, and heat, they are forms of non-ionizing radiation. This means they cannot cause cancer by directly damaging DNA. RF waves are different from stronger types of radiation such as x-rays, gamma rays, and ultraviolet (UV) light, which can break the chemical bonds in DNA.
      At very high levels, RF waves can heat up body tissues. (This is the basis for how microwave ovens work.) But the levels of energy used by cell phones and towers are much lower.
      When a person makes a cell phone call, a signal is sent from the phone's antenna to the nearest base station antenna. The base station responds to this signal by assigning it an available radiofrequency channel. RF waves transfer the voice information to the base station. The voice signals are then sent to a switching center, which transfers the call to its destination. Voice signals are then relayed back and forth during the call.
      How are people exposed to the energy from cellular phone towers?
      As people use cell phones to make calls, signals are transmitted back and forth to the base station. The RF waves produced at the base station are given off into the environment, where people can be exposed to them.
      The energy from a cellular phone tower antenna, like that of other telecommunication antennas, is directed toward the horizon (parallel to the ground), with some downward scatter. Base station antennas use higher power levels than other types of land-mobile antennas, but much lower levels than those from radio and television broadcast stations. The amount of energy decreases rapidly with increasing distance from the antenna. As a result, the level of exposure to radio waves at ground level is very low compared to the level close to the antenna.
      Public exposure to radio waves from cell phone tower antennas is slight for several reasons. The power levels are relatively low, the antennas are mounted at high above ground level, and the signals are transmitted intermittently, rather than constantly.
      At ground level near typical cellular base stations, the amount of RF energy is thousands of times less than the limits for safe exposure set by the Federal Communication Commission (FCC) and other regulatory authorities. It is very unlikely that a person could be exposed to RF levels in excess of these limits just by being near a cell phone tower.
      When cellular antennas are mounted on rooftops, it is possible that a person on the roof could be exposed to RF levels greater than those typically encountered on the ground. But even then, exposure levels approaching or exceeding the FCC safety guidelines are only likely to be found very close to and directly in front of the antennas. If this is the case, access to these areas should be limited.
      The level of RF energy inside buildings where a base station is mounted is typically much lower than the level outside depending on the construction materials of the building. Wood or cement block reduces the exposure level of RF radiation by a factor of about 10. The energy level behind an antenna is hundreds to thousands of times lower than in front. Therefore, if an antenna is mounted on the side of a building, the exposure level in the room directly behind the wall is typically well below the recommended exposure limits.
      Do cellular phone towers cause cancer?
      Some people have expressed concern that living, working, or going to school near a cell phone tower might increase the risk of cancer or other health problems. At this time, there is very little evidence to support this idea. In theory, there are some important points that would argue against cellular phone towers being able to cause cancer.
      First, the energy level of radiofrequency (RF) waves is relatively low, especially when compared with the types of radiation that are known to increase cancer risk, such as gamma rays, x-rays, and ultraviolet (UV) light. The energy of RF waves given off by cell phone towers is not enough to break chemical bonds in DNA molecules, which is how these stronger forms of radiation may lead to cancer.
      A second issue has to do with wavelength. RF waves have long wavelengths, which can only be concentrated to about an inch or two in size. This makes it unlikely that the energy from RF waves could be concentrated enough to affect individual cells in the body.
      Third, even if RF waves were somehow able to affect cells in the body at higher doses, the level of RF waves present at ground level is very low -- well below the recommended limits. Levels of energy from RF waves near cell phone towers are not significantly different than the background levels of RF radiation in urban areas from other sources, such as radio and television broadcast stations.
      For these reasons, most scientists agree that cell phone antennas or towers are unlikely to cause cancer.
      Studies in people
      Very few human studies have focused specifically on cellular phone towers and cancer risk. In the largest study published to date, British researchers compared a group of more than 1, 000 families of young children with cancer against a similar group of families of children without cancer. They found no link between a mother's exposure to the towers during pregnancy (based on the distance from the home to the nearest tower and on the amount of energy given off by nearby towers) and the risk of early childhood cancer.
      The amount of exposure from living near a cell phone tower is typically many times lower than the exposure from using a cell phone. About 30 studies have looked at possible links between cell phone use and tumors in people. Most studies to date have not found a link between cell phone use and the development of tumors, although these studies have had some important limitations. This is an area of active research.       Studies done in the lab
      Laboratory studies have looked at whether the types of RF waves used in cell phone communication can cause DNA damage. Most of these studies have supported the idea that the RF waves given off by cell phones and towers don't have enough energy to damage DNA directly.
      Some scientists have reported that the RF waves may produce other effects in human cells (in lab dishes) that might possibly help tumors grow. However, these studies have not been verified. Several studies in rats and mice have looked at whether RF energy might promote the development of tumors caused by other known carcinogens (cancer-causing agents). These studies did not find evidence of tumor promotion. Research in this area continues.
      What expert agencies say
      The 3 expert agencies that usually classify cancer-causing exposures (carcinogens) -- the International Agency for Research on Cancer (IARC), the National Toxicology Program (NTP), and the US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) -- have not classified cell phone towers as to their cancer-causing potential.
      According to the World Health Organization:
      Considering the very low exposure levels and research results collected to date, there is no convincing scientific evidence that the weak RF signals from base stations and wireless networks cause adverse health effects.
      In commenting on cell phone towers near homes or schools, the Federal Communications Commission states:
      Radiofrequency emissions from antennas used for cellular and PCS [personal communications service] transmissions result in exposure levels on the ground that are typically thousands of times below safety limits. These safety limits were adopted by the FCC based on the recommendations of expert organizations and endorsed by agencies of the Federal Government responsible for health and safety. Therefore, there is no reason to believe that such towers could constitute a potential health hazard to nearby residents or students.
      Do cellular phone towers cause any other health problems?
      While high levels of RF waves can cause a warming of body tissues, the energy levels on the ground near a cell phone tower are far below the levels needed to cause this effect. Thus far, there is no evidence in published scientific reports that cell phone towers cause any other health problems.
      Can I limit my exposure?
      Cell phone towers are not known to cause any health effects. But if you are concerned about possible exposure from a cell phone tower near your home or office, you can ask a government agency or private firm to measure the RF field strength near the tower to ensure that it is within the acceptable range.
      What should I do if I've been exposed to cellular phone towers?
      There is no test to measure whether you have been exposed to RF radiation from cellular phone towers. But as noted above, most researchers and regulatory authorities do not believe that cell phone towers pose health risks under ordinary conditions. If you have additional health concerns, please consult your doctor.

        U know the most funny part of the Airtel PostPaid GPRS? you will not be able to check how much you have used of the 2 GB, at any given day. you simply have to belive airtel if they say you have exceeded your quota..this is absurd. and why they use term UNLIMITED, when the limit is 2GB?

        There should be a chance for getting to know for how much data used of the 2 GB

          Hi, I ported 3 numbers to airtel, 2 from vodafone & 1 from aircel. I got a message stating my porting is successful few days after submitting the request & my new sim was activated & working fine for a week. Suddenly my line got disconnected. On contacting airtel, i was told that it was successfully ported from airtel side but vodafone has still not disconnected the line. On contacting vodafone, they have mailed us saying vodafone has ported successfully & hence we received that message stating "your porting is successful". Now airtel does not care to respond to our mails regarding this. I live abroad & i am unable to contact the customer care even. Not sure what to do.

          I am pizzed of with the airtel service!!

          You know what my problem is. They ported to airtel from docomo. But I do not receive any messages/calls from any docomo numbers plus any other service(other than airtel) take s ages to contact me now. Plus now after 3 weeks they say the documents I submitted are not valid.I went to nearest airtel relationship center, they say photograph in passport copy is not clear, I being a student have constraints of not having original passport with me. This is not it, I tried talking to customer care, I called at 121 and 198 but they dont have an option to customer care representative there so I called from the airtel relationship center. First someone talked then she transferred to her supervisor and then she again transferred to her supervisor, and this supervisor puts the call on hold while I am speaking.
          Third class service, I will never in my life get any service offerred by airtel and would suggest anyone who reads this, prepare yourself to go through hell i[censored] take up anything from airtel.
          Horrible service, no respect for customer, No satisfaction.

            Dear Sir/Madam,

            I have done a airtel recharge from a retailer for amount Rs.444(which is shown in airtel online recharge as full talktime with no validity).

            When recharging i was in Maharashtra and recharging Tamilnadu SIM and will be in roaming for next few months.

            I got a message that Rs 1 is added to my regular account and Rs 444 is added to some dedicated account. But while roaming i not able to use this dedicated account.

            To use this amount, please transfer the same to regular account so that i can use this while roaming.

              Sir, on 2nd March, 2011, I recieved a message from Airtel service of charging Rs. 30/- for the subscription of jokes. Earlier the jokes used to be recieved once in awhile, to which I did not care. But charging for the service which I had not subscribed is unauthorised. Since the year 1998, I am the customer of Airtel, in these recent last few years, these kind o[censored]nauthorised charges are being taken out all of a sudden without any notice or information. Leaving me helpless to make an urgent call, if required. What do I do ? time and again I cannot keep on recharging, so as to keep my self in touch with others. Since 1998, I am using Airtel service, with different connection. But, after coming to Maharashtra, in 2001, I opted for Airtel Prepaid connection for the good service provided by the company earliar when in Delhi, Now I am not getting to know as to the company is compelling me to switch to other service providers. I request the company officials to let me know the reason for such behaviour. on top of it, the calls to the call center are charged, which is ridiculous. Or do the company want me to tell my friends, not to opt for Airtel service ?. Again the request to refund the charge of Rs. 30/- back to my prepaid number[protected] and oblige me.

                I have a landline connection from airtel with ph no[protected]. This has been disconnected by airtel on non-payment of "INFLATED" bill.

                Actually, I have been receiving INFLATED bills since last 3-4 months. On several callseach month to customer-care, they were "waiving-off" the surcharges and I was only paying a part of the bill. They were giving the "waiver", because they admitted that "F&F" discount was not included and they gave this reason as one of the reasons for INFLATED bill.

                But last month, phone connection was disconnected, citing the resaon that "waiver" was rejected.

                PLEASE GO THROUGH MY TELEPHONE BILLS FOR LAST FEW MONTHS AND NOTICE THAT "F&F" DISCOUNT IS NOT BEING PROVIDED AND HENCE I RECEIVE inflated BILLS and pl. help me in restoring my connection.

                I am a registered user of airtel landline[protected] for the past three years and have never been a defaulter in payment of my bills. The amount of bill generated for the month of July 2011 was Rs 2019 and the due date for the payment is August 18th, 2011 . However I am surprised to learn that the phone has been disconnected well before the due date i.e on 11th of August due to 'non payment of the amount'. I then made online payment of the required amount on 12th of August 2011, still my telephone line has not been resumed .
                I fail to understand the motive behind the disconnection, is it to harass the subscriber????

                My questions which i would like to put forth to the higher authority of airtel are as below:
                1) Why my phone line has been disconnected when the due date has been mentioned as 18th of August, 2011
                2) Why the line has not been resumed even after payment of the amount well before the due date

                CAN ANYONE HELP ME IN FINDING OUT THE NAME, TELEPHONE NUMBER OR EMAIL ID OF THE HIGHER AUTHORITY OF AIRTEL, I CANNOT FIND IT ANYWHERE ON THE NET.

                    I had been your customer for last 3 years and had not faced too much trouble. In December, I requested my services to be shifted to another location within Noida. You were unable to transfer the line because o[censored]navailability of your services in that area(Sector-82, Kendriya Vihar). I asked to cancel my connection. Despite of that I have been receiving calls and regular bills. I understand that I had to pay the last used bill until Dec which i did last month and I have all the proofs with me. Your executive who called me Mr Kunal told me that I will receive a confirmation within few hours of FnF that my connection had been cancelled. But no intimation was received. Moreover this month again I have got the bill and your representatives are harrasing me by calling again and again. It is really a shameful thing for a company like yours. I use the mobile of your company but I think if this is the attitude that you guys have, trust me the market has much more to offer. No customer would need your pathetic customer service. If Ino actiuon is taken, I have to go to the consumer forum to get it sorted as I have all the proofs and reciepts of all my payments.

                    Airtel Broadband — Bills getting generated even after cancellation

                    I shifted to new home in gurgaon and going by my prior experience with Airtel Broadband I decided to continue with them and logged a shifting of connection request. They tried for availability of socket near my area and when they couldn't, I lodged for cancellation of my number. For 1 month, I got calls which said that please dont disconnect numbers as when ever you will revert back to airtel, you can use the same number. I still persisted on cancelation but nothing happened. Finaly I started getting calls from bill dept and then i went to custoemr care and surrendered all equipments myself. Even after all this I am getting calls for my undue amount.
                    Prior to all this, I was a fan of airtel broadband services but after all this experience I have disconnected all the three lines running from airtel and now I am a happy customer of Vodafone and Tata Indicom

                    This is to inform you that myself Manjari Mahajan..I had a airtel broadband connection..And on last month on 6 july 09, i clear all my previous balance and wanted to disconnect this service and i have the cancellation receipt with me i.e no is 243884.I really get harassed from your calls.i am a working girl and your customer care executives daily call on my no and tell to pay the bill.what a bull service you have.And on last weak at around 9 p.m i receive a caal from you people that mam your bill is pending please pay it...One of your executive name Nitin Gupta had a talk with me, firstly i want to clear this is not the time to call anybody but airtel people may be they lost somewhere and didnt see the time...he told me that your bill is pending i told him i have already pay thebill and disconnected the net.den he told me mam your balance is 100 rs. i said sorry i dont even pay a single peny to you.And stop giving calls to me.And i wait for 2 days for the confirmation from him.he gave me a number also [protected]...Now Its Heights...You people really harrass the customers...

                    I made several calls to airtel customer care number since December 2010 for disconnecting my connection.

                    But till date my connection is not disconnected and you are adding bill month on month whereas I am not using it any more

                    On calling airtel broadbandcall centre on 6 Dec 2010, call id 1303295.I was told that my rental is stopped and connection would be disconnected.
                    On calling airtel broadband call centre on13 Dec 2010, call id[protected].I was told that I would get the full & final bill and someone will come to my house from airtel for further formalities on disconnecting.
                    On calling airtel broadband call centre on 06 Jan 2011, call id[protected].I was told that my request of disconnecting is under process and I would not be billed further.

                    My grievance here is that neither till date my connection has not been disconnected nor my bill genration/rental has stopped.
                    Till date the same has compounded to Rs 3044.

                    Why should I pay for not using it since 6 Dec 2010 when I was assured that my rental has been stopped?
                    Please issue me bill til 6 Dec only

                        in the month of February 2011 i activated one day internet pack of 5rs. and on receiving the confirmation message that it is activated i connected my mobile to the internet and started browsing
                        but after a few minutes i came to know that i had been charged from my balance for the browsing and my balance of rs.75 had come down to rs.0

                        but wen i checked the internet balance left by dialing *123*10# i had found out that till MB was left in my account
                        there was no airtel live access point in my mobile so there is no way that i had used that

                        later i tried to activate the same pack again and access net through my mobile browser for two days and mobile office access point was not getting connected to internet
                        how come i'm charged for activating the pack but not allowed to use my pack

                            I requested for port my airtel to docomo([protected]). the request was accepted. after that airtel customercare officer called me and introduce many offers to me. So i changed my mind and decided not change my operator. I deactivate portal id request that the way of the officer told me the format ( CNCL PO [protected]). but after 2 days i received a message that ' your port request has been accepted and will be ported on 1 mar 2011 22.00pm. after that date i can,t use my number as airtel or docomo. You please not i already cancel the port request. then a call to docomo but they are told i must contact airtel offfice for details. but i contact airtel customer care they avoid me. what can i do sir ? please help me.

                              airtel broadband connection deactivation
                              Sir,

                              I am Sunil Sinha. I had an airtel broadband connection for which my user id is 15626841_mp.
                              Sir i wanted to deactivate the airtel broadband connection for which i have complained several times but stilll my broadband connection is not deactivted.
                              The airtel company keep sending me bills for that broadband connection. Before this i had paid my whole bill when i used that connection , and also paid the bill for the period when i had not used my connection and its simply very shameful service provided by airtel.
                              Sir I am not in a mood to give any money for that connection. So please kindly help me out in disconnecting the connection as soon as possible.

                              I requested Airtel customer care by phone and then by mail to cancel my broadband connection on 06 December, 2008. Airtel contacted me on 10th December, 2008 and asked for reason. I told and requested. Airtel confirmed that it will be done by 7 working days. Till now they yet not deactivated and asking me to pay bill for this month. I am going throug mental pressure. I took the connection in my rent house, which I left, but the landlord couldn't make fresh agreement with others as my Airtel line is still there. I repeatedly requested to Airtel for that, but they didn't contact me.
                              I requested Airtel customer care by phone kindlly deactivat broad band connection but we want only

                              land line connection under 549 plan our Account No.12936951 and Telephone Number 42163230.

                              These people will run after you to give you the connection but when it comes to parting with the customer they behave in this manner. I am facing teh same issue dude... I swear ...would never suggest airtel to anybody and will never take there connection again.

                                I have a Airtel DTH connection (ID-[protected]) since Oct 2009. I had been facing DTH set top box not starting immediately since few days, but since i could not reach the toll free & tolled numbers, i left the umpteen tries since the set top box used to start up alas in 10 minutes after warm up.
                                But since yesterday, the set top box has completely stopped working & the lights keep flickering. I have been trying from as many numbers to reach them even smses of "HELP" on 54325 as mentioned in an sms which came from them.
                                Have also lodged a online complaint with them but to no avail. Is any of the AIRTEL management listening to their so called "Customer care" numbers not working.

                                Please look into the matter as i will have no other option than switching services to other service provider.

                                Hi my customer ID is [protected], there is major problem in the set top box, and it completely switched off for last two day and i have been calling the customer care for last two day. I have never had such bad experience with any customer service department.
                                First it takes 5-7 min to get connected to a callcenter agent and they keep you on hold for 10-15 min and hung up the calls. And again when you call back they say there is some technical problem
                                A request to all don’t buy airtel settop box and if bought they don’t expect any customer support.
                                Same here, its been 16 days now, no resolution. My Airtel HD STB Box hangs every hour or so, no fix even after 5-6 hours on call. Connection ID: [protected]. Manish.

                                Im thinking of Switching to TataSky in April'11. Im paying Airtel Rs 650/- for 3 connections, now I think its not worth. I was Airtel loyal customer in Broadband too, and was very happy with their service, which is why I chose to buy Airtel even if it was expensive at that time. Now I am repenting.

                                  1) On 28.02.2011 I used airtel mobile office with 450 MB internet balance and Rs.510/- main balance in hand (in respect fo my airtel no.[protected]) in checking my e-mails for which an injustice has been there from airtel in the form of creating a vacuum in my main balance (deducting more than Rs.500/-and kindly leaving twenty one paise for consolation).
                                  2) It is reiterated that I was checking my e-mails only on 28.02.2011 with 450 MB internet balance and Rs.510/- main balance in hand. But in between when one mail was delayed in opening then I checked the connection and found that internet balance was reduced to zero and main balance to 21 paise respectively from 450 MB and Rs.500/-.
                                  3) Immediately I lodged a complain through email to [protected]@ in.airtel.com and in response to which yesterday on 01.03.2011 at about 18.10 hours I received a phone call from the no.[protected] intimating me that the wrong deduction of more than Rs.500/-by them was correct as I had used airtel GPRS instead of mobile office.
                                  4) In this context this is to mention here that
                                  a. The default setting in my mobile Nokia N 73 and in my Laptop Sony Vaio connecting through Nokia PC suite is MOBILE OFFICE. Then how it can connect something else?
                                  b. If, however, it had happened so is it so costly that merely viewing 3-4 mails would cost 450 MB internet balance together with more than Rs.500/- main balance?
                                  c. Moreover, I had subscribed for 2GB airtel mobile office for one month. They allowed me to use it for 25 days (1550 MB) but for remaining 5 days (450 MB) I was switched onto airtel GPRS without my consent with an intention to deduct more than Rs.500/- amount from my main balance? How it happened?
                                  d. Can I access airtel 3G or Broadband? Certainly not as I have not subscribed for those. Similarly when I had subscribed for 2GB airtel mobile office for one month then how it is told that I have used another pack of internet? Only because sufficient balance were there in my account to have a foreplay with it time and again?

                                  I had activated GPRS plan MO for a day and wrongly deducted 30rs instead of 15rs.I called theCC and the reason they gave is server is down so ur request could not be registred. I had deactivated the service exactly after 24 hours and for their mistake they make me pay . This is not the first time they give such reason as server is down. Still I get the conformation that request has been registred so pls tell what type of server they follow as they say something else.

                                  the problem is that on 6th april at 9 pm i activated gprs
                                  (mobileoffice) on my phone.

                                  and on 8th April i have deactivated my service of gprs at 5pm by

                                  then the customer care person said it is been deactivated by them .

                                  but the next day i.e from 9th April airtel is charging 14.99rs daily

                                  after calling to customer care they told due to technical error it has
                                  not been deactivated so i will get refund .

                                  but next day the same issue is going on and from that day after
                                  calling to customer care couple of times they did not took any action
                                  on it.

                                  due to no action i went to airtel gallery in mumbai at chembur diamond
                                  garden tere i meeted mr basant i told my problem to him and he told
                                  the amt will be refunded (at that time my refund amt was rs 60)

                                  after 3 days the same issue is going than i contacted the branch
                                  manager of airtel's diamond garden branch of chembur.

                                  she told that ur sevice of gprs will be deactivated within 6 hours and
                                  my refund amt of 120 rs till that day will also be refunded to me .

                                  and after 5 hrs my service of gprs was been deactivated by them but
                                  the refund was till not been given to me.

                                  now the issue is that the amt of 120 rs is till not yet been transferred to me.

I want to inform you that, I have wrongly charged for my GPRS service. On dated 08.07.08 at 12:09PM my account balance was Rs582.00 and I download a game from Indiagames whose charge is Rs99.00, But they charged me Rs.198.00. Same as on dated 17.07.08 at 12:30AM they charged me Rs100.00 without any download. I'll be greatful to you if you kindly inform me what is the reason of this wrong deduction from my account and how I'll be get back this wrongly charged amount.

I talked for Rs 450 and i have a balance of Rs. 500 now with 90 more days by June 11 th . however i got a message saying that my validity will expire by this June month ( remember by offer my validity is still there upto august month) When i called a customer care and enquired this they were saying that the airtel is wrongly credited rs 1110 for a 599 plan and they were going to reduce the same after three months. ie by june month.

                                  Just analyze this answer - its my amount and i have paid more than Rs 1000 and i got the offer but now am in terrible position where am going to lose my 3 more months and also the remaining Balance of Rs 500.

                                  Am sure if this is going to happen am going to quit AIRTEL and i will go to VODOFONE.

                                  Just analyze this answer - its my amount and i have paid more than Rs 1000 and i got the offer but now am in terrible position where am going to lose my 3 more months and also the remaining Balance of Rs 500.

                                  Am sure if this is going to happen am going to quit AIRTEL and i will go to VODOFONE.

                                  I have been wrongly dedected amt from account 30 Rs bcoz of Devotional download pack which i have never subscribe, I have complain it on 18th oct 2008. Still customer care gives false promises that it will be credited into account. 121 and 198 and [protected] all these number are blocked dispite personaaly visisting there showroom. these peopole are unable to so;ve problem . Now they are telling that i have been wrongly dedected amt bcoz of incoming calls. This is shocking. Such a pathetic attitude of Airtel. They alwaz lie that sorry for wrong dedection and then they block customer services. This is worst services

                                  On 20-Mar-2009, Rs 10 for 10 days was deducted regarding Airtel Friendz chat.
                                  0n 24-Mar-2009, Rs 20 for 20 days was deducted for the same.

                                  Once i hav paid for 10 days how come it has been deducted again.All the customer care numbers hav been blocked. PLEASE HELP ME OUT.

                                  I am using the connection no. [protected]. I was suddenly charged for making an ISD call whereas I haven't made any ISD call from my Phone. Somedays back, I had a talk with a Customer care executive but he failed to satisfy my problem by saying that my complaint has been forwarded to the higher authority. But no higher authority has tried to get back to me so far.

                                  Airtel / Mobile Office — charge from main balance for using MO

                                  I have activated Mobile Office Service by recharging 498/-. But from yesterday whenever i connect to internet from my mobile the charge is deducted from my main balance. however AIRTEL launch this product as unlimited internet usage.

                                  Airtel — Soon Airtel Is going to be in 100 th position

                                  If this proposal to charge customers for calls made to customer care is accepted, it would have,in my opinion,the following impacts:

                                  1. Customers would be put on hold for longer duration to milk money.

                                  2. Over a period of time customers would become intelligent and start making calls from office phones etc.

                                  3. A lot of customers who don't have the second option would stop making calls to customer care even if a caller tune is activated without request and so on. You might even find companies start charging us wrongly by a few rupees every day in the hope that no one would dare call customer care.

                                  4. If the calls made to Customer care become very less these telcos would not need to hire many for call centers. So job losses would occur and economy would have some impact due to this.
                                  They have activated some pack called CRICKET pack by their own and after complaining not agree to return the money .I didn't expect from company like Airtel.
                                  I am holder of Air tel mobile phone no - [protected]. On 15/4 I found that a sum of Rs 30 has been wrongfully deducted from my prepaid balance. On lodging a complaint with Air tel I was informed that this amount has been deducted on account of so called services taken by me by dialing 543216 number which is said to be regarding friend chat service. I never opted for such service and neither I ever indulged in ringing up on this number. I am a senior citizen. The Air tel did not refund the amount to my balance. This is third instance of such wrong deduction. I was refunded Rs 30 feb 2010.

                                  Ya its 100% true in airtel. Even it happen to me and to many of my friends. Always airtel charging money from our main balance if once we received the automated call from airtel. Eventhough we cut the call within 2 sec after hearing the computer generated voice, they used to charge us rs.15 or rs.30 based on the call we attend. If we contact customer care means, they used to tell that we only pressed the corresponding key for charging the money. Its highly irresponsible act from airtel. These problems arise if we attend the calls regarding hello tunes, airtel radio subscription, etc...also they used to set hello tune by themselves and charging from us by telling that we only select that song. See we know whether we select any song by pressing * and 9 or not, but they used to tell that because you press only, we are charging. Someone stop this idiotic thing from airtel...

                                  I had recharged my account with 201 rupees on 12/02/11

                                  & my balance was drastically reduced afterwords;

                                  Airtel has already blocked my number as they don't want to revert my money;

                                  When I called Airtel through someone else's mobile number & inquired about wrong deduction; then I was informed that Airtel has mistakenly deducted my call charges as 60 paisa minute.

                                  But my call charge scheme is 1p/1s.

                                  So my every call which are less than 60 seconds; I am still charged with 60 paisa which is wrong.

                                  So give me my money back; also give me detailed call charges deductions of my usage as I don't trust such a cheat company.

                                  Also on 20th & 21st Feb 2011 Airtel has again charged me with some wrong deduction.

                                  Give me my money back & don't credit to my account but send money order for the same amount because I want to change my number from Airtel to BSNL through MNP.

Today at early morning @ 6am i had activated a small 3G Pack amount of Rs45 150MB For 7 Days. i hv utilized maximum 130MB from my data but all data balance got deducted and even my main account balance is now 0.0 that time i had 106INR in my account. i am sending you some screenshot of Dongle with following details data Transfer, usage, other activity etc. Please refund my balance in my main account after that m not going to use Airtel services any more. its my humble request to you.

I got connected to the same person though but then Airtel has debited Rs. 14 for that call. Although I admit that the no. was wrong but was not connected internationally and was local vikhroli no. where I talked to the correct person. When I tried to register a compliant, the person is not able to understand and are not interested in helping. Now if Airtel can understand the problem refund my money.                                     This is Anand Bhatia and my airtel mobile number: [protected] .my landline line no is[protected] .i am facing lots of problems since last 3 months.according to my plan and schemes i should get discount of F & F Family i.e FRIENDS AND FAMILY DISCOUNT,which i am getting .i have complained so many times but after so much effort i got only for 2 months. discount of 3rd month is not yet approved.i have so many references numbers given by supervisors of customer care but there is no use of that.my wife received confirmation calls of approval of waivers of 3 months.but now outgoing services of my landline connection have disconnected.my wife spoke to noddle officer also. he assured me that he will try to solve my problem,but he didn't.
                                    i have paid My bills on regular basis.THERE ARE SO MANY DISCREPANCIES IN MY BILL .THERE IS NO F&F DISCOUNT GIVEN ON MY CALLS .NOW I AM VERY MUCH DISSATISFIED WITH YOUR SERVICES . NOW WHAT I WANT IS MY WAIVERS SHOULD BE APPROVED & MY OUTGOING SERVICES SHOULD CONTINUE AS BEFORE AND IHIS PROBLEM SHOULD NOT OCCUR IN COMING MONTHS.

                                      This is very disappointing feedback from Airtel as they are not ready to leave my number from their service after requesting the portability of my number. I have sent the message to 1900 requesting PORT and I got the unique ID. I also contacted Vodaphone to transfer my number to their service. After some days Vodaphone sent me a message saying that my portability request has been rejected by Airtel. I contacted Airtel, but they are not transparent about their service. I am really disappointed by Airtel and their service. please someone tell me suggesting what should I do now. I want to leave Airtel.

                                      We have sent the message to 1900 requesting PORT and I got the unique ID for 6 numbers. We confirmed BSNL to transfer my number to their service. We have sent the port id for 3 times and still your network has not been supporting. Then after 4 days BSNL have the message to the consider sim card that the unique port id has been rejected by your network provider and the UPC code is incorrect. How could be the UPC code wrong 3 times for all the 6 numbers. We have sent the port id for 3 times and still your network has not been supporting. Its very disappointment for us. Please close the problem immediately.

                                        Iam Senthilkumar,i purchased SONY 46' BRAVIA TV on 17 th feb 2011 at chennai.The showroom people said that AIRTEL DTH HD connection is free with this TV.After contact with AIRTEL DTH customer care at [protected], they told recharge with RS 1000/.the customer id will be given.My customer id is [protected].The instrument supplied and fixed on 24th feb 2011.From that day onwards i called customer care daily there is no proper answer.finally 26 feb they give the service engineer no [[protected]].The service engineer picked the call only on 28th feb and the problem will be solved within 1 hour.After two hours he never picked the phone till now [1st march 2011,at 8.30 p.m].
