    i got a message in balance which said "recharge with 222 and get full value. offer valid for ten days."

    assuming as a regular recharge that i do like full value in 333 , 555 ,777 etc i did this 222 too. But i got only 2 RS in my main balance and got 220 rs in *123*1#. after that i learnt that this 220 will collaps to zero after ten days.

    i feel cheated since i am given the scheme through a misconcepting scheme line saying "recharge with 222 and get full value. offer valid for ten days." it should mean that custmor can get the recharge with in the ten days but in actual it meant balance for recharge which is no way wise to do.

    i tried talking to airtel officials in my city who failed to solve my problem and gave me his boss's no. leter he also gave me further his's boss's no. but all saying the same stereo type thing that its a scheme etc....

    i want my money to be credited in my main balance and i want no time limit scheme which is offered through over smart ways of the company.

    i expect companies not to befool the custmors with the sms like that.

    Dear Rahul,
    You are very right. These companies are always sending you some misguiding promotional messages. Once you pay the money, you will feel cheated. These sort of complaints should be sent to TRAI also.

    One more thing, when you used to recharge with 333 or 555 you might be getting the full talk time, without affecting your original validity. I also afraid to recharge these full value coupens. Will you please help me to clear my doubts.

      i have applied for an Airtel broadband connection on 26Oct,09 by giving a cheque of Rs500 having no.271619(State bank of India) with form no.1964216. but the connection can't be given due to your technical problems. after that i have told to apply again by filling a new form and also Rs1000 and they have also said that the cheque of Rs500 will be returned back to you very soon. they have taken Rs1000(cheque no-038577 Canara Bank) again with the new form(No[protected] on 18Nov,09 and said that the previous cheque will be returned back. but the previous cheque is already cleared from my account on 7Nov,09. i have talked to Mr.Pawan and Mr.Avinash Choudhary about this on 23Dec,09 and they have said that your cheque will be returned very soon.
      WHY THEY ARE TELLING LIE TO ME?
      i want my money returned back very soon.

      also they said that you will be given cash back offer in which you have to give Rs1000 and Mr.Avinash Choudhary has also promised Rs3000 speed on demand offer. now he is saying only one offer will be given. so why Rs1000 will be taken from me?

        Hi,

        I am Kannan Raghupathy. I live in KK Nagar, Chennai Area. I applied for the Airtel DTH connection along with Airtel Broadband (Internet Connection) on 7th December 2009. I gave all the supporting documents including the ICICI Bank Cheque in the name of Bharti Airtel Ltd (Rs. 1000.00, Cheque No
        050272 ) and Bharti Telemedia (Rs.999.00, Cheque No 050272).

        I got my Broadband connection after following them for more than 8 days. But I am yet to get my Airtel DTH connection (Digital TV) and its been more than 20 days since my Cheque got cleared. When I called the Airtel Associate, I am not getting a proper response and they are also not ready to
        communicate anything to me. I called them each every day to get my DTH connection but still no luck.

        I have made two complaints (First one on 24th December '09 and the second one on 26th December 09) to the Airtel DTH customer care number and gave all my details. They said, they will get back to me
        regarding this in 24 hours and still they haven't get back to me. And one more thing is they are not giving any complaint number also since I am not a registered customer with them (That's the reason I got from
        customer care people).

        The first complaint I made with the Supervisor named Praveen and the second complaint I made with
        the Supervisor named Sri Hari. Both of them got all my information like my door number, cheque details and the Airtel Associate details.

        The guy who took the application from me is not picking up my calls. The associate details are as follows:

        The last response I got from those people was, my Cheque is cleared from my account but it is not reflecting in their CitiBank Account. How come? I have been talking to a guy called Moorthy (+[protected] for last 4 days who is working for Airtel and he is the one who gave me this kind of response
        and yesterday he said that, he will make a complaint on behalf of me to the Airtel DTH and get the complaint number. He hasn't get back to me yet.

        I don't know what to do in regard to this. Is this the way Airtel treat customers?

        I would like someone to take severe action on the above mentioned associate as well as on the Airtel people. I am totally frustrated and exhausted after calling them each and every day with no result.

        Please do the needful ASAP.

        Airtel DTH Connection — Installation

        I have Purchased Airtel DTH Connection 0n 2-July-2010 but it is not installed up till now i have got both customer id & pin no both but customer care is not responding.

        DTH airtel — complaint for connection

        This is to giving you complaint that I laxman singh had submitted ur airtel DTH subscribtion fee on wednesday 03/11/10 to celebrate life events p. ltd.karol bagh Delhi and your executive said that after ur payment within 4 hours our engineer install ur connection but till date 06/11/10 no body came my home its mean ur executive and ur company tell lie about ur connectivity, hw can i trust ur commitment in future
        This means u guys do only commitments but cant fulfill the same and now my opinion is complitly change about the airtel service.
        And it shows tha you people just sold your product & slept out after that.

        Airtel DTH — Video problem form more than 15 days

        Dear Sir,

        I am a existing customer of Airtel DTH from August' 09 my customer id is [protected]. From the last 1 month my DTH was occurring problem like there was signal problem in between the viewing but that was tolerable because it was happening ones for 5-6 seconds in 2-3 minutes. As the problem was continuously increasing i called the customer care, Service request reference no. is 5499024. Engineer from the airtel comes, examine the problem & said to change Set-top Box (STB). After a payment of 350/-(for STB replacement) + 100/-(as visit charge) he replaced my new STB with a very old STB (on[protected]. Now there is new problem started, as video is not coming except 3-4 channels. i again called the customer care & registered a complain (Request no[protected]. This time engineer came (on[protected] and after examine STB & Dish Antenna he assured that the problem will be resolved, but the problem is consistent. The engineer (Sumit) have visited 3rd time[protected] BUT THE PROBLEM DIDN'T RESOLVE, i did complain for this matter 6-7 times, problem of the STB or Video (whatever) is consistant & even now i am not getting any response from the engineer.
        Please provide the suitable solution for my problem and do the needful as soon as possible.

        Airtel DTH — Reg.installation of new Airtel DTH

        Hi,

        I applied for Airtel DTH online.
        I showed some interest on a airtel DTH website and next morning I was contacted by an agent from Vriti Infocom and he stayed online with me till i transferred money from my online account. he promised that an Airtel Engineer will come in the evening and install Airtel DTH and also activate it before he leaves.

        But its been 3 days now. No one has come to me. Vriti people do not answer my phone call .

        I am affraid that they might have cheated me and taken my money.
        my payment slip No. is 11683 dated[protected]. what should i do now?

        Airtel DTH Connection — Connection is not working from last 4 days

        I have a Airtel DTH connection in my home. I am residence of Bangalore. My DTH Connection id is [protected], my connection is on the name of Mohit Verma with the registered Phone No. [protected].

        Problem started from Saturday April 30 at 8.30 pm. after a heavy rain showers my set top box signal dropped & showed message that signal loss. The same night i called to customer care they have told me that someone would visit my home by tomorrow morning (May 1) 10.00 am. So i waited for the technician till 12.30 but no one has come & after that i left my house for some work. Then in the same evening i called back to customer care, again they told me by tomorrow morning (May 2) my problem will be resolved but as again no one came to my home till afternoon so again i gave a call back, again they told me that problem will be solved by 7.00 pm. for sure. As it was expected by now that Airtel people are not taking customer problem seriously so no one came to day also. So three days (May 2 & 3) has left & my problem is still there. Again i called to customer care & talked to Mr. Manoj Patel from exelation department he assures me that any how my problem will be resolved by tomorrow (May 4) within 12.00 am. But as i said before no one came till 2.00 pm. Again called back & tried to talk to Mr. Patel but he was on leave so this time i talked to Mr. Sachin he gave me the Mobile no of technician who was suppose to visit my home. His name was Madhu & Mobile No. is [protected], at the same time i talked to him he told me he will come within 15 minutes. But to my surprise more than a hour passed & technician didn't come so by 3.30 i called him again, i got the same response that he is coming. Finally he arrived at 5.30 pm. & started scanning the problem, he found the problem & informed me that wire has broken, so i told him to fix it. But the main surprise for me was that technician came to resolve the problem but without the necessary tools( Either i can blame it on technician ringing mobile or my bad luck for choosing Airtel). I suggested him to buy the wire connector from near by shop but he started saying he will come tomorrow morning by 8.30 am. (May 5) with tools. I have left with no option but to trust him he left & didn't showed up till now (11 am).


        Now I have come to a conclusion that the word professionalism, punctuality, service & promise is not in dictionary of Airtel. I am highly dissatisfied with the service i got, today is the 5th day with same problem & nothing has happened yet. I am giving you the option if you unable to solve the problem then take back your connection, so many vendors are in market who can give me good services.
        Today is May 10, i have calls from Airtel DTH Team & they assured me that technician will visit my house soon but still problem is same as usual!!!

        Airtel DTH Connection — INSTALLATION

        I HAVE BOOKED A DIGITAL TV CONNECTION THROUGH ONLINE ON 27 MAY 2011. WHILE BOOKING MY TRANSACTION DID SUCCESSFUL AND I HAVE GOT CUSTOMER ID[protected]. BUT AFTER IT NO MAIL AND NO PHONE CALL COME TO ME.
        AND CUSTOMER CARE NO ALWAYS AFTER INSTRUCTION DISCONNECTED AND THEY CHARGE ALSO BUT NEVER COMMUNIOCATION DONE.

        Airtel DTH — No Connection/Installation of DTH

        I paid Rs.4780.00 on 1st March for 2 new DTH connections.

        I was promised as per your company rules to be installed within 24-48 hours.

        I received SMS with my customer id and the date of installation, 6th March, 2012 @ 9:00. but nobody turned up till now and nobody bothered to inquire about the installation.

        It is about a week now since I paid the amount.

        I sent 3 emails to from the company’s url, I get the same standard response, nothing convincing.

        I spoke to many of company customer reps, who have no clue how to resolve this issue.

          This is for Customer ID [protected]. I was re-locating from Chennai to Bangalore and I wanted to take my Airtel DTH connection with me. When I called up their helpline for this purpose, they told me to pay Rs. 300 and then their engineer will come to my house and uninstall the equipment.

          However after I paid the amount, they just de-activated my connection and no one from Airtel came to uninstall the equipment. Every time we called their customer service center, we were told it would be done in another one hour, another one hour and so on.

          In the end, I had to mysel[censored]ninstall the satellite dish, wiring and package it. This I could have done anyway without paying Rs. 300, had their useless customer service center told me that they do not handle uninstallation in the first place. I would strongly advise that people avoid Airtel DTH, as their Customer Service is terrible.

          Airtel DTH — Money taken - No service provided

          I bought a Sony LCD which comes with Airtel DTH. When I called Airtel customer care for installation, they gave me a customer ID and asked me to recharge it with Rs. 1000. I recharged it and ask for the installation. After taking my money, they never did the installation. I called up many times to their customer care but no one has done anything. They give you a request number and close it without doing anything. My Customer ID is [protected]. Never opt for Airtel DTH.

          Airteldth — No Service

          Dear Mr. Mittal,

          This mail is in utter frustration after following up with your AirtelDTH customer care for last 20 days. I bought a multi-room connection and it required multiple follow-up to get the STB installed. Since then it's almost 15 days none of the channels are activated.

          1. I called up customer care.They logged complaint 5894001. No action after that
          2. I called customer care again, they said complaint is being forwarded. Where do they forward, I do not know. No action again!!
          3. After that called up customer care several time and the response has always been that someone will contact within 3 Hrs but no one has ever contacted.

          I think Rs 999 has gone complete waste. In case you are listening to this post, I would expect some action.

            I own a Airtel Prepaid connection for more than 5 years. But now a days the signal is very weak, escpcially at Madurai - TVS Nagar , Alagappan Nagar etc. When I tried to complain this, we were told that there is issue with our Handset. This must be the best joke of the year. Lot of people around this area is planning to switch to other service providers.. So far no serious response from Airtel to sort of the issue.

            Airtel — Very poor signal

            Sir,
            I am residing in the village of Manavely, next to villianur Commune. For past few months we are experiencing severe poor signal problem of Airtel network in our area. Regarding this i registered my complaint also in Airtel services. But the reply was no fault with them and I can change my handset and try they mentioned. There is no problem with my handset and all the people in our area using Airtel network experiences this problem. As a longtime user of Airtel I will greatly appreciate if this problem is take into action and rectified soon.

              Even though the complaint is lodged against the Airtel SIM activation provider no disposal is received with any positive aspect till time and already one and half month have already been passed.
              I have purchased a GSM SIM of airtel from my nearest reseller Mr.Durga Mishra(Phone No.[protected]) of Sakhigopal(Puri) on dated 21 Nov 2009 and the mobile phone no is allotted to me [protected]. I had submitted the requisite documents to above mentioned reseller.
              And after two days I had recharged the value Rs50/- for getting the Powerplus facility.
              Again I had recharged from a local shop Rs 340/- through easy recharge and got the sms reply as such: RECHARGE SUCCESSFUL ON[protected] at 03:02PM.talktime rs 340.00.MRP rs 340.00.TransID[protected].Best Jobs!dial *321*661#FREE.
              On 27 Nov 2009 first the outgoing facility is blocked. After complaining to Mr.Durga Mishra and after his durable trial it was found Incoming facility is blocked and I got the solace that the processing is being done and I will be getting through within 24 hours and I had to wait.
              Weeks by weeks passed.And when 2 weeks had elapsed I was told to talk to Area Manager Mr.Priyabrat Mohanty(Contact No.[protected]) to confirm where is the lapse.
              He did the same practice to solace me to wait and your SIM would be activated.
              Lastly It was found the SIM is out of order and invalid.
              Being a consumer and providing the requisite documents if such case will happen and no official authority is interested to listen me give me the disposal what to do against my money which is deposited (recharged) is totally disgusting and the belie[censored]pon airtel is absolutely lost and Will any such consumer have the belief that Airtel company is doing a best support to consumer ?
              I am bothered about my money deposited_ can I get back and what is the method to extract my money. If I will get back my money then I shall go for Other company's SIM to activate my Mobile and to the frank speaking I am totally frustrated dialling all in channel including the officers of Customer Careof Airtel.

                As on 9/12/09, Airtel website mentions under easy recharge that on re-charging Rs 777 full talk time will be credited.
                On 9/12/09, I had got my phone no [protected] re-charged with Rs 777 but full talk time was not credited.
                On lodging complaint, on 11/12 I was told that scheme is available for selected customers and on Lapu re-charge. No such condition is mentioned on website.
                On 22/12 I was told that scheme is not available. It was there on website.
                On 1/1/10 I was told that scheme is applicable for Rs 333 and 444.
                All the arguments of Airtel are wrong as scheme shown on website does not support their contention. It clearly says that full talk time with zero processing fees and zero service tax.
                I request Airtel to give me full talk time or support non-denial with data on their website.

                  I have an airtel broadband connection[protected] which was connected at the address: 1987, Top Floor, Sec 37, Noida. I have moved to a new location (Address: A-52, Sec36, Noida) and requested for shifting of my connection on 23rd Dec, 2009 (Shifting# 294952) Also I requested for the waiver of the shifting charges (ref#[protected] and I was told that I will get the waiver of shifting charges which amounts to Rs. 300/-

                  But this connection has not been shifted till 31st Dec, 2009. I received a call from a representative from airtel named Atul ([protected]) and he told me that the connection cannot be shifted due to technical reasons. Since then I have been trying to follow-up with Airtel and nobody is taking the ownership.

                  Can somebody help me ?

                  Hi Consumer complaints..

                  I have been using Airtel Broadband connection since last 3 yrs and I have upgraded from 128Kbps to 1Mbps just surely because of the service I've had from these guys... It was awesome...

                  Its gets awful now,,

                  I am going to move to a different location in my city, which is inside the city limits.. Airtel claims to not to provide me service there..

                  I am in Chennai.. I am currently at Choolaimedu and the new service location is at Andal Nagar, Alapakkam, Porur area.. The nearest location where Airtel is providing service is a few feet away at Metro Nagar, Alapakkam.. Airtel have claimed there is no feasiblity of the same.

                    Dear Sir/Madam,

                    I have to say that when I have main balance in my acouunt then it doesn't work GPRS service of Rs.96 and it is deducted through main balance while commitment is different that it will be deducted from 2GB and 100 MB free main balance according their condition.

                    In these days airtel is really cheating to the customers. I was using GPRS on dated 28th December, 2009 between 12:00 am to 8:00am. I lost of Rs.95 from my main balance. While I have already recharged GPRS pack of Rs.96 which is valid till 12 January, 2010, which has a promise of 2GB free internet access.

                    I am asking why happens this type of deduction? Why is airtel deceiving to the customers? Will this scheme of deduction will be fruitful for Airtel or Airtel User? I think, a simple person will not tolerate this type of cheating and they will change their sim and will get new service of another company and their mouth of words will always be negative against airtel service in public.

                    When I talked to customer care, I am told your deduction was due to browsing, but my one another friend who is also getting the service of GPRS. He uses daily internet including browsing, downloading, searching, everything.... but his internet access is going smoothly without any deduction because he has nil main balance. I also would like to mention his name: Santosh Kumar, mobile number [protected]. He also lost Rs.72 and 100 MB of main balance. Due to deduction of main balance, he left the recharging of mobile and I am sure he will remove the service of airtel.

                    So, consider my complain seriously and return my deducted amount of Rs.95.

                    Once I had also a complaint while I was using Rs.250/- p.m. Although I was an old user of Airtel gprs since Rs.99/-, I had to request for stoppage of the services in complusion...

                    We shall truly change the sim after introduction mobility of mobile-numbers.
                    My deduction of Rs.72 was returned but if some one does not try more than one time who cann't get back. Example, above written complaint is really unsolved till time for Mr. Raman (my friend), has no sufficient time to fight against deduction of small amount Rs.95. Now, he is really feeling bad that Rs.96 GPRS pack is fraud and will not get back.

                      Airtel company has disconnected my customer call center no 121 from past 10 days and was very bad impression from the service provider and my dedicated account facility is fake facilty to all.
                      They are not providing proper add through media or sms.

                      How does one contact Airtel when the landline does not work and when all other numbers are unattended? I tried[protected] several times but no one picks up the phone. If this is the level of service, I am sure I am not the only one who will wish to leave for a better alternative.

                        Recently I got this number from a shop which is on Ajmer road,

                        As desired, I have submitted Phototocopy of Driving licence, A photocopy of Pass port, a letter from my present company and based on this the subject number was allocated to me after paying Rs. 525/-

                        Next day I got a call from your office for physical varification.

                        I was asked to resubmit a photocopy of Pass porrt since The photograph was not clear the same was submitted by me immediatly

                        In between lot of call came to me from your office and i was asked to submit a photo id proof, which i already submitted,
                        Latter on my number was disconnected for want of photo ID which three times i submitted.

                        We talked to Air tel official and as per him the number was to get activated yesterday night only since he was travelling,

                        As off now the number is yet deactivated and i am using my reliance black beery i.e. official phone for personae use which is really inconvenient to me.

                        I am totally frusteted the way i am being treated, I think i made a big mistake selecting Air tel

                        Please advice me how i should surrender this number and can get my balance amount .

                          Sir two months back I have purchased Airtel in Dehradun a new connection [protected] and all vérification done from airtell.

                          Now when yesterday in the morning I switch on my mobile it showed SIM CARD REGISTRATION FAILED when I reached one of outlet of airtel at sharanpur chowk at Dehradun they send me at their collection centre for new sim but when one of executive of the company discussed my matter on phone with somebody they said that my number has been alloted to somebody as my verification not done then they asked to go main office in Patel Nagar industrial area at Dehradun, there I met Mr. Hosiyar a senior official, he said due to Airtel some technical problem occured with my number as by mistake of airtel my number has been deleted from system.

                          Now sir I would like to put your attention towards my case as for last day I am suffering as I am not able to contact my business circle as my sim has been blocked I am not able to retrieve my contacts feed into sim.

                          Sir I really very harassed by the action of airtel and I expect soon action from your side to that I will get justice from your end and also I will apply for the compensation as what I have suffered and got mantely harrasment due to il-legal action of airtel.

                            my balance is being reduced and i talk to customer care they say you have activated some services which i have not.the person to whom i was talking was very rudely talking to me and aftersometime he disconnenct my phone.first of all i want to know is this the servies provided by airtel.i am also using another companies sim but i have never seen such a poor service.first of all i want to complain against the person to whom i was talking and how my balance is reduced though i have not activated any services

                              Dear Sir,

                              I am a retailer of your esteemed company at udaipur with mobile number [protected].

                              I did recharge of Rs.345/- to one of the customers in the view of knowing that there is a full talktime on it without any boundation. But when i did recharge, after 1 day i came to know that the balance was not added to the main balance. the balance was credited in the account of *123*6#.

                              When i enquired about it after the enquiry from the customer, i came to know that this amount is to be finished within a month. I suffered a loss due to this poor information system of this company.

                              When i discussed in details with my wholesaler, he also told that they are also unaware of this scheme. Nothing can be done as they also came to know after the registration of such type of complaints.

                              They tried to convince that we should check our sms's of the schemes regularly.

                              i put a bet sir your head will also start aching by getting enormous amount of repeated sms on the mobile.

                              You just put your foot in the shoes of retailers for one day and feel the ache and irritation of repeated offers on sms's.

                              I bet for sure that you will also delete the message without reading because of the following reasons:

                              1. retailer is not only selling your recharges but also doing allied works.
                              2. most of the retailers have the mobiles of low sms storage capacity.
                              3. retailers have other works also then to read sms regularly and daily.
                              4. most of the retailers dont know to read english, they just get the information from the wholesalers.


                              In my case i suffered a loss of Rs.300 in the recharge of 345.
                              To whom should i blame you decide where is a loop hole for this poor information system.

                              Sir Rs.300/- doesn't matter you but matters us because we have to do the recharge of Rs.10000/-. which means 2 months without profit for me.

                              Now the ball is in your court for the decision. Waiting for reply with some concrete decision.

                              Also let me know of whether this amount can be reversed or not.

                                Hi,
                                This is a complaint regarding my Prepaid->Postpaid migration on my Airtel connection.

                                I have been having a Prepaid connection from the past 5 years with a history of high balance. Recently I decided to move to Postpaid connection to activate my blackberry services and make the payments easier( i was told my balance has to be high otherwise). And today my connection is been barred of any communication and no bothers to mention me the reason for the same. Here are the chain of events,

                                Date 14, December, 2009:
                                I call Airtel Customer care to confirm the process to convert to Postpaid and activate blackberry services. I was told that I need to submit a last month salary slip, address proof and pan number.

                                On the same day I approach a Airtel Relationship Center and submit all the documents along with filling new forms and signing the same. At that time the person across the bench informs me that a new number will get activated in 4 hrs and a migration will take 7 days. I agreed that 7 days is ok for me, so please go ahead and process it. I paid Rs.300 as some security deposit. He tells me that I will recieve an SMS on migration after which i have to swap my old sim with a newly provided sim.

                                Date 22, December, 2009:
                                Nothing seems to happen till date. I had to take the evening off and spend 2 hrs at the Relationship Center understanding what is going wrong. Then he mentions that my address verification is pending and called up the verification section where I gave the person the landmark and route information to reach my home.

                                Date 23, December, 2009:
                                Nothing happens again. I have to take one more evening off and spend about an hour at the Relationship Center just to make one more call to the Verification Section. This time I take the number i can call in case no one turns up at my house again.

                                Date 24, December 2009:
                                Today, some one completes the verification but nothing happened again. All of a sudden my phone stops working at 9 pm in the night. I assume that my postpaid is activated and swap the sim. Everything is working fine along with me recieveing sms on how to use various features in a airtel postpaid. Still no sign of Black berry services.

                                Date 25, December 2009:
                                I call up airtel customer care(121) and ask them for a status on my blackberry activation. They have no clue. So I lodge a complaint. After which i decided nothing is going to happen and fill another form for Blackberry services. Everything seems fine and service got promptly activated by evening on the same day. The phone works great for several days.

                                Date 29, December 2009:
                                At about 11:30 AM, I recieve a SMS stating that my connection is Activated with a Deposit of 300, Activation fee of 0 and Number Charge Pamnt as 0. And then at 2PM. another message saying that my credit limit has ben revised to Rs. 600.

                                At about 3PM all of a sudden I am not able to make any phone calls or send any SMS. At 6 PM I call up 121 asking why my services have been disabled. I get a reply saying I have not submitted some document. I wanted further information on what exact document do they want. He then claims that I have spoken to one of his collegues and he has told me about the missing document. I tell him can you tell me what documents are required, he has no clue. And i am supposed to spend one more evening in Airtel Relationship center for knowing that. I call up second time ask him to connect to the relationship center so I can talk. Unfortunately they have no way to connect to their own relationship center. I then call up the number that was given to me while i was running around for the address verification done but that number is now invalid.

                                I had not received even a single call from Airtel before that stating that i have to submit some document. In my opinion I must atleast be given 24 hrs time for submitting any critical document and may be a week time for non-critical document. Airtel disconnecting the call just like that, without a reason, invalidates the entire reason to buy have a phone. If in case I had some emergency situations that i have to call some one, I end up with a bricked connection. I dont think Airtel would take responsibility for the damages in such a situation.

                                Now its a bundh situation in Bangalore and the Relationship center is probably closed. I dont want to take chances of stepping out of my house in such a situation when i am not in a position to tell my loved ones even where i am.

                                Other bit of information that I wanted to add is, I stay with my family and my mom always stays at home atleast during those days.

                                The relationship center is 100Ft Road, Indiranagar, Bangalore.

                                Please let me know what exactly am I to do. Why am I to spend so much money and time for a service I pay as requested from Airtel. I do not want to loose my number as its a long standing number and many friends and business contacts have the same. I do not want to go another time to the Relationship center, I feel its just a fruitless effort.

                                  Few Days back i took a airtel prepaid connection, so i submitted all the documents as shopkeeper told me.
                                  after two day i got a call from airtel that submit your local address proof, i asked them will my office ID card work? so they said that "yes".
                                  Now after 3 days my document rejected and reason was local address proof. so i submitted electricity bill of my flat.
                                  but still they cut my connections on 28th December.

                                  now customer service agent says that we didn't documents. a person Call "Bhavin"
                                  from "Gyanesh Store" who is dealer of airtel connection, didn't submit my documents, and blaming on company that its not his fault.

                                  So now who is responsible for all these things and inconvenience which i am having still today ?

                                  hi iam using airtel connection and i cannot call some numbers for this i lodged a complaint on 6th sep 08 and they ask me to wait till 11 sep 08 so that the complaint can be recitified but after 11 sep 08 also my problem is not fixed again i call and enquired i got a reply from other side that i have to wait till 18 sep 08 coz they are looing into the problem ...which is very pathic on the part of airtel because they take so much of time to fix a some problem and they make big promises in all sorts of media...while making promised they to make sure to stanfd up to it ...but iam vey dissappointed about airtels services ... and i also request all dear citizens dont go for airtel connection...they lure u in the begning but after u take connection u will be amongest the one like me...so do think over it before going got AIRTEL connections...

                                    Hello,

                                    My account number is: [protected].
                                    Issue: My actual bill amount is supposed to be Rs. 200 and change, but I have been charged Rs. 1,200 and change.

                                    This is regarding providing the wrong information and misbehavior by your representatives, employees and the agents about the services and the complaints raised.

                                    I took my new connection on 30th Nov 2009 and the first bill got generated on 9th Dec 2009, in which I've been charged Rs. 950 extra where I shouldn't be charged. The bill says:
                                    - Premium Number: Rs. 750
                                    - Activation Charges: Rs. 199, where I'd paid the activation fee while taking the SIM itself.

                                    Here, Airtel relationship Center on 100 Ft road, Indiranagar - where I took the connection, the representative didn't tell me that the number would be chargeable. He just took the activation fee and the deposit amount from me.

                                    - If the number is chargeable, the number fee would have been collected from me at the time of collecting SIM card itself - this being the common sense that every customer care representative should be knowing, no one did help with the waiving off these additional charges.

                                    Instead of trying to resolve this issue, they have surrendered my account to some third party people (I believe they are collections people in case of defaulters) who called me from Chennai and kept bugging me by hell of calls and hell of messages to pay the bill, where in I have told the customer care people clearly that I will not pay the bill unless the issues are resolved.

                                    - The activation fee had been waived off but the premium number fee hadn't been waived off.

                                    Your employees named Sujatha, Suguna, Kapila who are call center people told me they will call me back on the issue and update me the status but had never called me with the status.

                                    And there are many reference numbers with I don't remember (You can look at my account for other complaint numbers and service request numbers).

                                    Yesterday (29-Dec-09) when I again called customer care, Kapila told me something irrelevant and when I insisted her to let me talk to her manager, she connected me to Ravi - who is the floor manager that time (sometime on 29th Dec in the afternoon).

                                    He, instead of telling me he will try to work on resolving that issue, was rudely talking to me saying that the bill generated was valid and they cannot waive off the amount at any cost - because it's the services charges. And that's it - not even he tried to convince me with the issue. He was just sticking to the point that the bill was right and cannot be waived off - as if I was telling the false things or false claims.

                                    When it continued, I was pissed off by his behavior and asked him to cancel my account. At least then he could have convinced me. But instead of that, he said he would help me in cancelling the account and connected me to cancellation department.

                                    Then I happen to talk to Raghavendra (from cancellation team) who had helped me - told me to go to Airtel outlet and let them talk to him.

                                    - A floor manager couldn't help me in any form but the cancellation team did. A manager himself is ready to lose customers and you could think of the team he would be leading - how would be their attitude towards customer services.

                                    Then, I went to the relationship center where I took the connection and called up cancellation team from there and let them talk to the agent sitting at the counter.

                                    Now, the issue had been resolved – they waived off the extra charges they have put on me for nothing.

                                    My concern is:
                                    1. Even after calling hell of times and raising hell of complaints, no one could help me or got an idea to call that relationship center and ask for the issue.
                                    2. And Mr. Ravi, being the floor manager, did talk to me as if he is least bothered about the customers and was ready to lose me without even trying to resolve the issue.
                                    3. Instead of working on resolving the issue, called me hell of times; sent me hell of alerts to pay the bill and even surrendered my account to some third party collections team as if I am a defaulter.
                                    4. It is your duty to call up whomever it is required and clarify yourself instead of insisting me to walk in to the showroom again and let them talk to you, which shows your inability to handle the customers and their concerns - due to which you would lose many customers.
                                    5. Why should I (customer) waste my time, energy, money and whatever to walk in to the relationship center when there is no mistake from my end, leaving behind my office and work, where you yourself can contact them over phone for any clarifications?

                                    - I would have cancelled my account with Airtel if the issue wouldn't have been resolved. It's not about the money which I have to pay; it's about "why should I pay you extra for nothing"???

                                    It was so prolonged conversation with customer care people and still couldn't help unless I took an initiative to walk in to the showroom. The problem was at Airtel’s end but not on my side.

                                    Not only this issue, have they activated the services which I haven’t asked them to activate. Later when complained, they disconnected those after charging me the monthly rental for the same.

                                    Finally, it's the WORST people you have in your customer care and the services are UTTER WORST. I started the complaining process somewhere in the 2nd week of December and it took more than 15 days to resolve it, that too with lot of idiotic mental torture and harassment indirectly.

                                    - If possible, warn those people who couldn't help me in any form and rather did talk to me very decently indecent claiming me as a culprit - namely Sujatha (Cust. care), Suguna (Cust. care) and Ravi (Floor Manager).
                                    - Or train your people and let them provide decent services rather than guess works.

                                     For your information, this type of behavior by Bharti Airtel’s employees is eligible to file a complaint against the company with the consumer court for this kind of “Financial Harassment & Mental Torture”.

                                    Please acknowledge this and act upon the same.

                                    Airtel Postpaid Connection — Mental Torture for a so said bill payment

                                    Respeted Sir/Madam,

                                    This is to bring to your notice that airtel has been posing humongous problems for me since 2 months now. I am seriously fed up with airtel connection.I had a airtel connection with the number [protected].It was in the name of Rajender Negi with the address being 5/13 Dayalpur, Delhi-110 094

                                    I got this number closed down on 29th august, 2007 with the final payment of Rs 2210/-. This was the full and final payment and I did inform the customer care that this number is being closed down by me now.

                                    After one month i received another bill and then i spoke to customer care. I even spoke to a Senior person at that time and he himself agreed that it was the company's mistake and that it would not repeat. However, again after few months I received another bill.I again spoke to customer care executive and they told me that I should ignore that bill.

                                    Now two months back i got a reminder from Airtel through a letter stating that i should clear the bill (which I was asked to ignore). The number mentioned in the letter was not reachable so I spoke to the customer care again and again they asked me to ignore that reminder.

                                    I have spoken to airtel customer care so many times and every time they agree this is their mistake. But this time they crossed all limits.People from airtel collection agency went to my house last week to collect the payement for a bill which really doesn't exist. After 29th august there has been no outgoing nor incoming from this number.I have been asked each and every time to ignore the mistake.

                                    Now I had made up my mind to file a complaint against airtel and I told this to a supervisor of customer care (he refused to tell me his name and my complaint number). He just gave me this email address therefore I am writing this email to you.

                                    I also received a threat call from a 'so called airtel lawyer (Mr Tyagi).His contact number is [protected]. Another person from Tis Hazari also called me and threatened me.I have been speaking to your executives since last six month on a regular basis and every time they tell me that my number has been closed down and there is no balance to be paid.Today finally when I last spoke to your executive, He tells me that i have a balance of Rs 710 to be paid.I am disgusted with your services and am being made fool of by you people continuously.

                                    Today I received a legal notice asking me to pay Rs. 1500/-. This is the so said pending payment. I spoke to Mr. Dinesh (Airtel customer support) and his senior Mr Satish (Reference no. 9518993). They do agree that it is their mistake and I should ignore the legal notice but to save themselves they mentioned that for harmony I should pay the so said pending payment of Rs. 1500/-.

                                    I am being mentally tortured by airtel since last 06 months on a regular basis. I hope to receive some help from you. I hope that you take this matter seriously now and look into it.
                                    You just copy & paste the same message to all the complaints or what? Just work on the issues and try resolving them instead of false proving that you are concerned about your customers with this fake messages. Seems you post messages here just to keep your brand safe, but you do not work on those issues.

                                      I have Airtel SIM from last 1 year & use internet as per need .
                                      This time on[protected] use GPRS E-Recharge of Rs 89 & SMS get with successful recharge with ID as [protected] ( with 89 Rs for GPRS )
                                      But when I try to activate internet by dial *567*1# it reply as insufficient balance , please recharge & try again .

                                      I try to call Customer care 27 time , but no response & finally I went to nearest Airtel customer center at 7:30 p.m again recharge with 30 Rs for maintain min balance .

                                      CC Executive promise that service activate after 4 hr since need time .
                                      I accept & say OK !
                                      But same problem again.

                                      Now can Airtel look seriously into this matter ? And let me know exact person who can solve this ?

                                      I have used airtel 24Rs/- plan for internet usage where i used to get 200MB of storage, but since last one week when again i used to recharge for the above plan
                                      the message says the recharge was not successfull and even today i had tried
                                      again the same message came for me as Recharge not succesfull and even i called for the customer care almost 20 times but no one is solving my problem and today one of the person from the customer care has kept me in hold for Half an hour and then afterwards he cut down the call.

                                      Please rectify me this problem or else tell whether it is possible for you to rectify or i have to contact any more authorities regarding this .

                                        Sir,
                                        My new Preapaid Airtel SIM No.[protected]F and Mobile No.[protected]. Purchaseing on Dt. 25.11.2009 on submitting the all reqired documents to M/s Prince Telecom, Jamalpur, Near Goal Market, Ludhiana. SIM was activated on next day but after 15 days my outgoing call was disconnect so. I once again resubmitted all require documents to the retailer but till date my sim card is not activated.As per retailer opinion they have send the documents to the distributor, when i talk to distributor they are simply avoiding and asking for contract with Local Airtel Office that is M/s Sunil Telecom, Near Shingar Cinema, Ludhiana. They suggest us to purchase another one New SIM and the present SIM card once the connection is disconnect not possible to reactivate on submitting the documents. So cant help any thing. 1. My question who is defaulter ? 2. Why the New SIM card is not reactivated on submitting the documents two times?
