I have a preapaid airtel mobile connection bearing number [protected] which was barred by the mobile service provider (airtel). Even after paying recharge for activation amount of Rs.29/- and talktime of Rs.222/- vide transaction ID numbers: [protected] & [protected] on 13th December, 2009 I am still getting the voice mail that my connection is barred.
Kindly activiate my connection.

AirTel — prepaid service barred

dear sir/medam,

I Mr.P.santosh kumar reddy. My airtel prepaid number is [protected]. I got a message from custmorcare, adress verification failed . after that my service as barred since last 10 days.
i resubmitted my documents at the date of[protected]. till now i didnt gat any service. I contacted at airtel office in shivam road the name of "accent communications". They told me that again my address verification was failed. But no one can come and verify at my home.
i will be the same address. I am using internet connection with this number.
please solve my problem as soon as possible. This is my alternate number [protected]. If you want any information from my side please make a call to me.
I know the service of airtel but why this time i am getting so much trouble with your executives.
please solve this as soon as possible.

Airtel Prepaid — serviceses barred

Dear.
I had purchased airtel prepaid connection no.[protected] after a week its services barred by the provided although i had submitted all the related papers
with customer relation out let.
my complain is about speed . i have taken a Data card connection of plan 999at 08 kbsec but it is much slower than 03 kbsec . i tried to complain to customer care many times but the call didint reach to it .a customer care call reach to me only when i have to pay the bill .after that nothing matter to airtel company .when i had complain about it the officer talking to me say that he will wrote a complain but it doesnt even matter to them .

    I put top up(Serial No:[protected],14 digit code [protected]) on 12 Dec 2009 evening on my card no [protected] ( LIFE TIME SCHEME PREPAID CARD purchased in June 2007 ) and my validity got WRONGLY MIGRATED from 31 JUNE 2021 to FEB 2011.

    It has been 3 years IT WAS SHOWING JUNE 2021.

    The customer care excs. told me that it will be fixed in 24 hrs.But still it is showing the WRONG VALIDITY.

    They are NOT PICKING THE PHONE when I am trying to contact them thru 121(toll free no).They are putting me on recording WHICH ASK TO SEND SMS.

    I talked SUNDAY EVENING to SOMAN and his senior AJAY MENDE who misleaded me giving wrong comitment that it will be fixed in 4 hrs.

    This migration is AGAINST THE LAW and the SCHEME they had offered to their CUSTOMERS.

    TOP DOES NOT AFFECT VALIDITY.So, I want my VALIDITYshould be RESTORED to JUNE 2021.

    WHY A CUSTOMER SUBJECTED TO HARASSMENT IF TRY TO TOPUP THE CARD.

    I request the company to look into the matter or else the matter will be forwarded to the TRAI for necessary action

      Dear Sir/ Madam,

      I am Airtel Postpaid Customer having Mobile Number: [protected] and IMEI number of Handset Motorola V8 is [protected]. Since 12 December 2009 Evening handset is showing "Unregistered SIM" message and no network is available. After Primary Check found that problem persists due to IMEI number validation. So, i want to know the way to register SIM and access Airtel Services on said Handset.

      Motorola — SIM ERROR

      Its is showing SIM ERROR.
      My motorola hanset c168 i used since last 5 year but exidently problame is sim error so please help me emmideatly

      This is to inform you that I am Himanshu Dua & I am using Airtel Prepaid Connections ([protected]) from the last 8 years. Now as per the Latest Recommendation by Dept. of Telecom regarding the IMEI No. of the handset, which says the IMEI No. of any handset in India must be registered otherwise that handset will not work or the Service operator will not provide services if their Sim card is inserted in that handset without Registered IMEI No. effective from 1 Dec 2009.

      I m really Thankful for an operator like Airtel who had taken the initiative for the same……
      Here I just want to tell you that I am using Motorola Handset ( Moto Razer V8 ) having the IMEI No. “[protected] “ .This IMEI no. is a Registered IMEI as per the Airtel Record (which I had confirmed from the Customer care) But Still I m not able to use Airtel Sim in my this Handset ……Although all the other operators like Vodafone, MTNL, IDEA sim cards are working perfectly fine & only the Airtel Sim cards are not working showing the message as “Unregistered Sim”. Moreover I had also put my Airtel sim in other nokia handset then this is working perfectly fine this shows there is no problem with my sim card but there is some problem from my operator i.e. Airtel

      I had also visited to Airtel office in my town but those people there are not aware about such kind of problem so they told they will not able to help me out……

      So here I request you to please look into this matter & try to resolve this issue as soon as possible………

      I dont face any issues if i use any other service providers (like Vodafone, aircel, BSNL..)
      i have checked my IMIE with airtel customer care and they confirmed that the IMIE number is valid.
      I dont know why i face this issue with Airtel Alone.

      I am facing same problem... I am using Motorola Rokr Z6, IMEI [protected] which is Valid on TRI ...My Aitel Network is out again...not network bars!!... But its working with other networks IDEA, Vodafone, Cellone... I don't want to loose my handset and number...Please Help...

        hi,
        I have put rc95 plan in Airtel prepaid connection in easy recharge and it is for internet pack in which they have announced the timing like morning 8:01 am-11:59 pm usage is 100 MB and night 12:00 - 08:00 am usage is 2 GB.when i was used after 12 also they have been charging the amount till now the airtel have been taken more than 200 rs and i had called many times to the customer care but they said tat they will credit the amount since it has been two months over they didn't pay any single paise for wrongly taken amount.so pls taken this as complaint.

        Airtel — Wrongfully charging to Credit Card

        I was a user of Airtel postpaid corporate connection which was converted to pre-paid on 16th Oct 2008. During the converison at the customer relationship centre, I was informed that the standing instructions for cross charging the credit card will stand cancelled as soon as the connection is converted.

        In the month of Nov & Dec 2008, I have been charged Rs 415 & Rs 330 on the pretext of some old outstanding which was not charged earlier. They have not bothered to notify me and did charge out automatically.

        In addition, I have logged various complaints for the poor network services in the area where I am staying since May 2008 (Ref no[protected]/[protected]. I have to try the phone at different angles before I can receive or make a call apart from frequent discnnection. This has not been rectified till date. While sepaking to their customer service manager, I was informed that the complaints cannot be looked into as the connection has been converted to pre-paid and I will need to log fresh complaints.

        It is clear that Airtel wants to make money and not bother about the quality of service. I am not sure if TRAI is looking into these complaints and taking appropriate action to safeguard consumer's interests.

        Airtel — Wrongful Charging

        My had got a new Airtel Prepaid No sometime in January 2009 with a prepaid amount of Rs. 200/-. After which i was not using the number. Yesterday when I switched the phone ON, I was unable to make any calls. On enquiring with the Airtel Customer care, I was informed that they had been charging me Rs. 3/- per sms for some Cricket alerts, for which I have neversubscribed nor were they able to provide details for the same.

        Today I have got a recharge done for Rs. 595/- to which Rs. 15 was deducted as outstanding amount. How is this possible on a prepaid mobile. I was also asked to send a message "STOP' to the number 121 to deactivate the Crickete alerts. However on doing so, i got a message from a number 1210 stating that I had no active alert package. Then why was i being charged Rs. 3 per sms and wher did my Rs. 200 of charge disappear.

        LAstly I have now recevied a sms from Airtel stating that Rs. 3 has been deducted towards VAS. Again I have no clue as to what is VAS or why I am been charged for the same.

        I feel completely cheated by Airtel. PLEASE HELP

But as per customer very very advance service by airtel company Not a any engineer visit to my home and not solve my any problem but airtel company is deduct 100Rs. in my account.             நான் கடந்த பல வருடங்களாக ஏர்டெல் ப்ரீபெய்டு
            செல்போன் எண் [protected] உபயோகப்படுத்தி வருகிறேன்.
            கடத்த அக்டோபர் மாதம் GPRS-75,GPRS-250 (1 GB free usage) என்ற

            புதிய சேவை குறுந்தகவல் வந்த சில வாடிக்கையாளர்களுக்கு மட்டும்
            என்று வாடிக்கையாளர் சேவை மைய அதிகாரிகள் 12 முறை,
            சுமார் 20 நாட்களாக கூறிவந்தார்கள்.என்னிடம் 2 எர்டெல் ப்ரீபெய்டு
            இனைப்புகள் உள்ளது.[protected],[protected] என்ற இரு இனைப்புகள்
            உள்ளது.அதில் [protected] என்ற எண்ணுக்கு மட்டும் அந்த
            சேவை குறுந்தகவல் வந்தது.அந்த சமயம் தங்களின் பார்வைக்கு
            மின்னஞ்சல் மூலம் புகார் அளித்திருந்தேன்.ஆனால் அந்த புகார் மூன்று மாத்ங்கள் ஆகியும் நிவர்த்திசெய்யப்படவில்லை.அந�... புகாருக்கு தாங்கள் அளித்த விளக்கம் திருப்திகரமாக இல்லை.

            மேலும் அதன் விபரங்கள் கீழே இனைத்துள்ளேன்.
            இந்தநிலையில்ன் மேலும் ஒரு புகார் ஒன்று 01/12/2009 அன்று
            கொடுத்திருந்தேன்.

            1. JOKE என்ற SMS ஒன்று 06/12/2009 அன்று மாலை 01:06:16 மணி அளவில்
            தமது செல்போனில் ஒரு குறுந்தகவல் ஒன்று வந்தது.அதற்காக
            எனது கணக்கில் இருந்து ரூபாய் 1 எடுக்கப்பட்டதை பார்த்ததேன்.
            உடனே 121 எண்ணுக்கு தொடர்புகொண்டு சேவை மைய
            அதிகாரியிடம் புகார் ஒன்றை தெறிவித்தேன்.நான் தேர்ந்தெடுக்கப்படாத‌
            சேவை ஒன்று தற்போது நடப்பில் உள்ளதகவும், இந்த சேவை
            கடந்த செப்டம்பர் மாதத்திலிருந்து நடப்பில் உள்ளதகவும்,
            அத்ற்காக எனது கணக்கிலிருந்து பணம் எடுக்கப்பட்டதாகவும் செய்தியை
            கூறினார். இந்த செல்போன் இனைப்பு என்னுடய தனிப்பட்ட
            உபயோகத்திற்காக பயன்படுத்தி வருகிறேன்.ஆனால் நான் இந்த (ஜோக் 54542)
            என்ற சேவையை புதுப்பிக்கப்பட்டுள்ளது.

            ஆகவே தவறான காரணத்திகாக என் கணக்கிலிருந்து எடுக்கப்பட்ட‌
            பணத்தை திரும்பதருமாறு புகார் அளித்திருந்தேன்.
            இந்த நிலையில் அக்டோபர் மாதம் (20.10.2009) DO NOT DISTRUPஎன்ற சேவையை
            நடப்பில் கொண்டுவர 121 சேவை மைய அதிகாரியிடம் புகார் கொடுத்திருந்தேன்.
            இந்த சேவை (45 நாட்களுக்குள்) டிசம்பர் மாதம் 06.12.2009 நடப்பிற்கு வரும்
            என்று உறுதியளித்தார்.

              i'm using the airtel landline phone connection for last 6 months, and i put on the one new connection, new connection bill is processed on the date of 20th of the month. first month bill hasbeen processed good. and next month bill is very high value amount of the bill but, usage is low, so, i want the itemised bill is also, but company collection exe. not response the complaint. i have don't pay the amount. now the time airtel company's new collection executive is torture of the payment.

              please release to me. thanks

                    I am an IBM India Pvt. Ltd. employee based in bangalore. I purchased a new SIM from Airtel with a Postpaid connection and was told about a package called -149 Gati plan_kk with Airtel advantage pack in which I was supposed to get 200 Min local, 200 SMS's free, and Airtel to Airtel STD @ Rs. 0.50/min. Since Day1 Airtel has activated wrong plans and even after my repeated requests and complaints they have not done anything about it. Since the day of activation 3-4 incorrect plans have been activated and the bill that I have got has been calculated according to all those incorrect plans.

                    I am not willing to pay my outstandings until the bills are revised and the correct bill plan is activated. Also when the new bill is generated I want an Airtel representative to visit and explain to me the entire itemized bill and how it has been calculated.

                    This has now gone beyond Airtel's We don't care attitude to a level of Harrasment. I want some serious action to be taken against them.

                      i m ajit shekhawat from ahmedabad ,i was the your first customer in my aptts and felt proud on dth tv. but now i feieling i made a big mistake by deal with airtel digitel Tv.
                      since last two days my service was not working and i chrahed is as usal package 155/ i recharge with 200 rs. but still it showing -59 rs.

                      when i called to customer care and come to know that my plan is for 3 month worht rs. 440, i got shocked .... when i talk in detail found that one month back i got a call and he was asking about my three month package and balance was 700 rs. as per the CC excuative. but there was not enough balance ................... i denied the offer but the customer care office has been freezed the same .....

                      now sice two days my service are not working and many time call to customer care but getting the same reply .that issue will same shorted out by backend team .....

                      if with next 6 hours i wll not get the sollution will go to consumer court.

                        Dear Sir/Madam,

                        I would like to raise an important issue with Airtel. I have trouble sending SMSes for past two days. When i send a SMS it doesnt get delivered and shows pending in my mobile. For this i tried to contact the Airtel customer Care to lodge a complain but, to my dismay, i found no option to contact an executive to whom i can get assistance with.
                        When i call 121 and [protected], which is the Customer Care numbers of Airtel, IVR of Airtel gives the following options
                        "1. To know more about the best offer Press 1, for value added Services press 2, To Know Balance & Validity Press 3, to Recharge Now press 4 and to Repeat Press 0. "

                        These options will not be helpful to me and doesnt solve my problem. Airtel in its website also has no number that might help its customers to talk directly to any customer care representative to rectify problems.

                        I request Airtel to kindly look into this issue of " NON AVAILABILITY OF ITS CUSTOMER CARE EXECUTIVES" to its customers.

                          I am really disappointed with the service and the customer care of airtel and this has brought me down to sending a mail to you at [protected]@airtel.com, nodalofficer.[protected]@airtel.com but even that mail was left undelivered.(Mind this email address was given to me by the executives of airtel). Now let me get down to the details:
                          I had asked for a GPRS activation on this no([protected]-Mumbai circle). and as it is a reliance CUG that only GPRS plan that can be activated on this no. is Rs. 99 rental unlimited GPRS plan and I too had asked for the same but someone of you "Stupid" executives activated a wrong plan because of which I got a GPRS usage of Rs.1965.25 on one bill and somewhere this amount on next month's bill. I have constantly been calling the customer care for last two months and everyday I get the response that "sir our senior is aware of this issue and will call you in next 72 hours and till today this has not been resolved. Also This happened not only with this bill but next month's bill as well. Moreover now my outgoing has been barred as well due to non payment of bill. This is ridiculous I am ready to pay the bill but atleast these people should settle the amount. I am really pissed off with your service and with service of this kind I dont think I will suggest Airtel to anyone.

                            Might be that was the bloodiest mistake ever in my life when I decided to purchase Airtel digital TV as a gift to my family. It happened exactly one year before. Literally I never felt such type of poor customer care. We really facing problem from them of no response. And now I fed up. I totally lost my patience now. That’s why I am approaching this way. This is not happening all of sudden. Actually we are renovating our house and doing construction for the first floor. Our workman / labor are facing some problem with the dish antenna and they people have disturbed the direction of the antenna. Now we planned to shift the antenna to other place on same floor. For that, we (me & my wife) are trying from 7th of December regularly to the customer care of Airtel DTH (no.[protected] & 12150). Every time we faced the computerized system and after so many buttons we are able to connect the technical or customer care representative. All the time we received same response from them i.e. “We’ll see the matter and trying to resolve the problem. We are booking engineers time slot for you and the engineers are coming to your residence within this and this time. They will call you before coming, so make sure your presence at home.” But till date we neither receive any phone call from the airtel staff nor any engineer at home. They booked at-least 3 complaints of mine. Every time same response. First time my complaint was booked with the complaint no. 158335 on 07.125.09 and with the assurance to resolve the problem any how before 6.29 pm of 08.12.09, but still no response. We again contact to customer care they again booked my new complaint with no.1592314 on 09.12.09 and time slot was given this time is 3 - 4 pm of 09.12.09 and assurance to resolve the problem before 6.19 pm of 10.12.09. On 9th up to 6 pm after getting no response from them I went to the local service center of my city. There I met a co-operative fellow he listened my problem and he himself contacted to the customer care. He again got the same response and got a new complaint no. along with new time slot. This time the complaint no. is 1595017 and the time slot is 9-10 am of 10.12.09. But the result is same, no response. Mean while I have lost my cell phone with the registered no. I already informed to the customer care executives and given my all the contact nos. for any communication. On 10th after waiting for a long time we contact to the customer care again for so many times. At the last at 5.30 pm I got one direct no of Mr. Vinay Sahu ji ([protected]) to contact. He divert me to another no. of Mr. Uday bhai ([protected]) after two three communication finally he gave me a new time slot for the same day and assured that the problem will be resolved before 8.0 pm. But sir, no response again from any engineer. After waiting up to 8 we again contact to mr Uday, this time he gave me the direct no of an engineer Mr Rajesh ([protected]). He told me to wait up 9.30 pm. And trust me we waited till 10 pm and again try to contact to all above nos. After a long time I got Mr Uday and he told me to wait up to 8.0 am of 11.12.09. Still it is 10.30 and still it is no response.
                            I don’t know who will receive this complaint, but please sir now I am totally fed up and request you to please dis-connect my connection and adjust my balance to my prepaid mobile connection at the earliest.

                            Airtel DTH — No response from service engineers

                            Hi All,





                            First few months went with out any issues . Two days back while viewing , the connection got disconnected with a pop up window "no signal ". I called customer care to report the incident . Even after two days , I have not heard from them . I have 3-4 complaints registed for the same issue (2491260, 2483198, 2491246 are them) .... I even had few instances where customer care executive keepng me in hold for 15 minutes and then disconnecting it .



                            Waiting for a call from ENGINEER (suggested by customer care) . Air tel is not recommented as they give poor after sale support .

                            Yesteday night I again called customer care and I was surprised to hear from them that all my requests have been attended and issue is resolved sucessfully ... (MAY BE AIRTEL HAVE SOME AMAZING WAY OF RESOLVING THE ISSUE WITH OUT VISITING THE LOCATION) .. After comunicating this information the customer care executive disconnected the call .

                            I again called them many times to get this issue escalated . How can they resolve an issue with out even attanding the case ????????

                            The most irritating among them was an execitive called Bala ... he tried resolving the issue him self (that is what he told on phone ) by keeping me on hold for 15 -20 minutes with out any answer (He him self disconnected the call at a later stage) ..... I again called them and asked for Bala ... some one picked the call and I was shocked to hear that in his knowledge there is no one called Bala in that department ........

                            After tring for few more times I got a chance to talk to a person from escalation team who introduced him self as Malinga Arjun. He was very polite and listened to what I had to say . He said that it was some kind of mistake from service department (some agent from my area) that the earlier requests were closed with out resolving the complaint . he reopened the case told me that saturday 2 PM is the max time it will take to resolve .He even convinced me that this will be taken care as he wil do the followup .

                            IT IS ALREADY 2.30 PM and no call from any one .....


                            Let me try once again and see what is happening to my complaint . I am an IPL fan and I missed both semi finals because of the great service from AIR TEL ..... Today is the third day after which I raised the complaint ... no responce from them till now .....

                            I called customer care once again as I was supposed to get a resolution by 4 PM today and no one called up till now ...... The customer care executive directly passed the call to his senior ... who introduced himself as lal.

                            He was also very much concerned about my issue ... from him I learned that the new time limit (max) for resolving this issue is TOMORROW MORNING !!!!!!!!

                            He even told me that I had made 26 calls in the past three days asking for an update on the resolution !!!!

                            From him I learned that the max time AIRTEL take to resolve an issue is 48 hours ..... Even after 72 hours I am not hearing any thing from them other than apologies and new complaint numbers ........ I will wait till tomorrow morning ... what else can I do ?????

                            Maine apka airter dish TV purches kiya hai . dish TV leke 2 mahine ho gaye hai. lekin jabse ap ki set up box liya hai tab se muje uski service nahi mil par hi hai. jab maine apke custmer service center se bat ki to . kahate hai ki apki abhi 6 mahine complit nahi hogaye . apko koi charge pay nahi karna pade ga. lekin apki distrubuter bolte hai. ki apko charge pay karna pade ga .

                              regarding network problem is govind puri area near kalkaji . . i m facing this problem from last 2years . but there is no solutions till date . i talk to Network team nd customer care the told me so many time sir are network team are work there . and they also told me i send network team person to your house for survey . the also came to my house 2 times.                                 Iam Poonkuzhalie from chennai and I was employed in satyam bangalore as a trainee. When in bangalore I took a mobile post paid connection from a dealer who used to visit satyam campus regularly.
                                I was using that number for a year and every month i used to pay my bill on date without any pending.
                                When the crisis happened to satyam we were all thrown out of the company and had to return home without jobs...due to all this mishap i was not able to pay my postpaid bill for 5 months which iam no more using...The balance is now around 3500.
                                Iam jobless now and it is impossible to do the payment now.
                                Now what the people from Airtel Dealer do is, They have traced all my bill and daily keep calling the numbers in bill and threatened my friends and collegues that if the payment is not made then we will take a police action....I have said then several time that Iam ready to face any legal note rather than calling my peers and doing such non-sense activities....
                                Once they called my senior manager and they created a hell a lot of problem to me ....
                                what can be done in this case....

                                  10paise to airtel mobiles and 50 paise to other network..
                                  Recently my friend accidentally recharged Rs 22 Freedom plan scheme to my number.. Recharged Details date : 10/12/09 time 6.22pm transid[protected]
                                  After that my call rating is set to one paisa to airtel nt and 0.12 paisa for other network ..
                                  I have complaint to costumer care they said that no retain the 245/- 6month valid it as been lost…. I[censored] want to retain that scheme means again recharge 245 but its valid for 3 months only…. Now I need to stay back with my previous state 245/- 6 months validity ….                                   Thank u 4 taking step to solve my problem... But u have said that no rules to permit to get back the previous plan.. I Accept the reason that u said that Rs22/- EC as been recharged (accidentally) to my number... But fault on ur side, because ur team as failed to do what the costumer needs ... so in future please avoid the in-convince to rest of the costumer... Any way thanks 4ur response...

                                      Airtel is deducting DAY GPRS balance when i uses GPRS at night time (12:00 AM to 8:00 AM). Till now i have use only 302 MB of my night balance, but what is wrong with their counter that when i uses gprs during night time my night gprs balance used also increases and simultaneously my DAY GPRS balance left also gets reduced.

                                      I had lodged a complain with Service Request number [protected] in this concern for my number [protected], but for this one of airtel guy called and told that night 2 GB is for only downloading, if i will do browsing then the balance will be deducted from DAY GPRS balance or will charged from my main balance. These airtel ppl always cheats in this way.

                                      Today my DAY GPRS balance was deducted around 75 MB, which i had used between 4:00am and 7:00am.

                                      At 4:00am my DAY GPRS balance was 300.29 MB and at 7:00am it was 224.80 MB. Till now i have used only 520 MB of my NIGHT GPRS.

                                      I had recharged for Rs 250 to get 500 MB for DAY GPRS balance and for Rs. 96 to get 2 GB at night, but most of my day GPRS balance has been deducted during night time only.
