I have Airtel Prepaid connection and my no is [protected]. I have chose friends card and while signing the form daily deduction for service was 50 Paisa/day. And later on they increased it to Re.1/day. Now when I want to use my FRIENDS SERVICE and create group with my friends. Their service of *110# is not working and when I called to Customer Care and asked them to do so they again started one more condition of min bal of Rs.30/-. When I recharged my mobile and again called them frequently for the same they locked my number so now I am not able to connect CUSTOMER CARE AGENT.

THIS IS LITERALLY OUTREGIOUS, AND SUCKING CUSTOMER LIKE LITCH.

IS [protected] YESTERDAY ( 09/02/2010 ) I HAVE DONE RS, 63 AIRTEL EASY RECHARGE AT 1:59 PM ( TRANSID [protected] ) FOR LOCAL & NATIONAL FREE SMS PACK, AFTER THAT I HAVE DONE RS, 35 AIRTEL EASY RECHARGE AT 2:00 PM ( TRANSID [protected] ) FOR LOW CALL RATES AND DONE RS, 50 AIRTEL EASY RECHARGE AT 2.01 PM ( TRANSID [protected] ) FOR TALKTIME. AFTER ONE HOUR AT 3PM I HAVE SENT MESSAGES TO MY FRIENDS BUT MY AMOUNT WAS DEDUCTED AT THE NORMAL RATES. FROM THIS PROBLEM I PERSONALLY VISIT TO YOUR KOTA HUB AT NAYAPURA BRANCH ( KOTA RAJASTHAN ) YOUR HUB EXECUTIVE TOLD ME THAT THEIR SERVER IS DOWN AND THEY MAKE A CALL TO CUSTOMER CARE AND GIVE THE WIRELESS PHONE TO ME AND THE EXECUTIVE SAID TO ME TALK TO OUR CUSTOMER CARE EXECUTIVE, THEN I TALK TO HIM I TOLD THE PROBLEM HE GAVE ME THE REF NO.[protected]. AT 7:46 PM I MAKE ANOTHER CALL TO AIRTEL CARE ( 121 ) FROM MY OWN NUMBER FOR MY COMPLAINT SOLUTION BUT YOUR EXECUTIVE USED ABUSIVE LANGUAGE ( GAALI ) TO ME AND CUT THE CALL.. FOR THIS I AM REGISTERING A CASE TO CONSUMER FORUM. GIVE REVERT WHY HE USED THE ABUSING LANGUAGE.

    To : WHOMSOEVER IT MAY CONCERN

    Dear Sir/Madam,

    I am contacting you to seek help for the due refund of Inr. 6000 from Airtel, against the
    above Sim [protected].

    I had bought a data card from Airtel paying them 6000 Inr. for hardware and activation and 6000 Inr. as a security deposit.

    My office bearer visited Airtel office on Residency Road on 17-Sep-2008, and submitted our letter asking to cancel and terminate the above Sim Card.

    The receipt of the same has been acknowledged in writing, by Airtel Residency Road office.

    From November 2008, I started receiving calls asking me to pay outstanding dues ?

    Hence, my office bearerr, visited the Airtel Residency Road office twice and was told the refund would be given within a few months. The third time he visited, he saw the office was permanently closed.
    He then, went to Airtel Bannerghata road, and was asked to resubmit the same letter dated 17-September-2008 to them. Which he did on 25-Nov-2008.
    From November 2008 till 07-October 2009, my person has been visiting Airtel, Bannerghata road office, every month.

    The dates of his visit are listed below :

    25-Nov-2009 ( Ms. Pooja recieved the copy of the letter already submitted on 17-Sep-2009.)
    11-Feb-2009 ( Mr. Raghavendra Rao, said he will get back to us.)
    05-Mar-2009 ( Mr. Kumar at 1410 PM, informed him that we have to wait for 3 to 4 months to receive the refund in March 2009. )
    11-Sep-2009 ( Ms. Bharati at 11.10 AM, informed that they will call back. )
    07-Oct-2009 ( Mr. Mohammed at 1520 PM, said he will call back. )

    The above visits were made asking for the refund of our deposit amount of 6000 Inr. The answer we got is the same. We are checking and we will get back to you.

    Today, we have learnt that the concerned number has been billed by
    Airtel till March 2009 or May 2009, and then closed.

    Since the date we have submitted the cancellation letter on 17 September 2008, there has been no usage on this sim from my side.

    Hence, we asked Airtel to arrange the rightful refund within this month, failing which we decided to send a legal notice concerning this matter.

    As per my telecon this morning with Airtel Customer Care, I have been informed that I have to pay 3249 Inr. which is outstanding as the billing has been done till May 2009.

    How can Airtel not adhere to a written customer request for termination of a sim card and continue billing a consumer ?

    I trust that the consumer complaint cell will help to take action and close this issue once and for all and get me back my due refund of 6000 Inr.

    Airtel — Non termination of services

    I had cleared my billed as well as unbilled amount at Airtel ARC at Malad West and placed a request for termination of services. i was assured that the services would be terminated within 48 hrs. However the requets was not executed at their end. I have also tried to make repeated calls to Airtel regarding the matter but everyitme the executive asks me for my details and says that no such request is reflecting on the system. He then places the call on hold saying tht he would tranfer the call to a senior person but the call automatically gets disconnected after a few minutes. I also tried to registered the complaint through the website but the web server was done. I had also tried to approach the ARC on July 12 but they too were unable to help at the moment i went saying tht their systems were down.

    I don't understand why is airtel making a simple procedure so complicated and tiresome.

    But, till date there has been no resolution and i have not recieved any refund cheque for the amount due to me ?

    Airtel customer care just keeps on replying to my e mails with an automated e mail saying the matter is being looked into ..

    Its amazing that my hard earned money is not being returned to me .. the indian consumer really is nowhere.

    Finally Airtel adjusted 4500 Inr in another bill, out of the refund of 6000 Inr which was due to me, . and closed the case.

      I accidentaly subsccribed into tadkalive, realising the mistake I immeadiately unsubscribed at a loss of Rs.100/- through SMS. After confirmation of the unsubscription, yesterday I was again charged Rs 20/- to renew the subscription without my consent. As I am not intersted and did not subscribe to it I would like you to recredit the amount back in my account and ensure the same is not repeated again.         Hi Sir/Madam
        My name is abhishek Agarwal and i am having airtel prepaid connection my number is [protected].

        Few week back airtel had activated the service known as Airtel live without my request and on 21 jan they had activated the matrimonial alterts service. I logged a complatint to deactivate the service and reversal of charges for these services as same is not requested by me.

        Toady on 23 Jan they give me a call from number [protected] and when i had asked the details and proff for a SMS sent by me for activation of these charges they had disconnected the call and closed my complaint. This is really frustrating as they are using there monopoly and deducting any sort of charges.
        These type of things must be stopped in future

          Dear Sir,

          On 26/11/2009, I received an SMS from Airtel which said that Rs.333 recharge for full talktime is available even on roaming. My validity showed as lifetime (That is, Sep 04, 2012). On 27/11/2009, I charged the prepaid Airtel no.[protected] through Citibank Mastercard for Rs.333. To my surprise, the same was billed to me on the credit card though my balance is shown as zero.

          I tried to call support nos in Mumbai and in Karnataka. None of these calls would go out from my Airtel no! Instead, I had to make STD calls to Karnataka support no. using another non-Airtel phone on 29/11/2009. After a long talk of nearly 20mins with support personnel and escalating the matter to the manager, one Ms. Sheela, I was told that the same will be resolved (meaning the amount credited to my airtel no. or refunded back to the credit card).

          Since the issue was not resolved till 01/12/2009, I wrote an email to Airtel (Ref id:[protected]. In the reply they told me that my SIM card validity had expired, which was clearly not so. As mentioned above its a lifetime validity SIM card which I've been recharging often enough to keep it lifetime valid. But instead they chose to bill me Rs.333 and gave me no recharge. On escalating the matter to Nodal office of Karnataka on email id nodalofficer.[protected]@airtel.in on 04/12/2009 and again a reminder on 10/12/2009, I received no replies at all even after over a month has passed! I request someone to kindly intervene and resolve the matter please.

          airtel prepaid serive — top up amount not credited

          Sir,
          My prepaid number is [protected]. On jan 28 i top up my no for Rs 100 using net banking service hdfc Ref #[protected] but till now my no is not top upped. Rs 100 was reduced in my account. I contacted your customer service 5 time but bad response on your side. I confirmed with hdfc bank they clearly said no wrong on their side. I clearly want to know my status of complaint and what happening on your side? If I call your staff they are disconnecting my call. I terribly unsatisfied with your service and decided to change my and my friends and co-staff air tel network to some other good network


          You are not even ready to hear our complaints.

          Dont try to cheat us.

          I am terribly upset with your worst customer service.

          In our office we use airtel post paid service and now due to this incident my co-workers are in plan to change their post paid service to some other good customer service oriented network.

          Last word : Better you change your attitude of satisfying customer queries otherwise You may lose valuable customers

          Air Tel - Pre Paid Recharge — Recharge not Credited

          This has ref to air tel pre-paid no. [protected]. There was an offer on by air tel for recharge with Rs 10 for lifetime validity recvd as SMS on 4th July & again on 6th July on the above number. Accordingly the above mentioned number was recharged on 5th June. Confirmation of successful recharge was recvd as SMS on 5th July 5:53 PM stating within 48 Hrs airtime will be made available. At the time(8th July 11:32) writing this complaint the above number remained without airtime being credited as per offer by airtel. The number has balance talk time of about Rs 143 but can not use as air tel has credited the recharge even after 60 Hours. Just feel this is some way of fooling common people.
          Sorry, the no. lost a 1 in typing.. its [protected].
          Needless to say, Airtel didn't respond to the mails sent on the given id [protected]@airtel.in. I'd sent all my contact details with email id, land and cell nos. There are just more crooks in the business now.

          I found in 'MY AIRTEL MY OFFER - BEST OFFER' category that recharging with Rs.66 will be given full talktime. I checked today (27/04/2011) and recharged for the same amount. But i got only Rs.0.10 credited to my account balance. I just want to get my full balance credited.

            I bought airtel data card of 1800 and a plan of 999/- of 256kbps but i am only getting 3-5 kbps. I had not even thought that i will get that much speed its really hopeless internet connection. Could anyone make it correct or fine for me i will be thankful to them.

            Airtel Data Card (internet connection) — Beware of Airtel-

            Dear Sir,

            I had taken Airtel data card internet connection on 11th of June 2008 vide connection no. [protected]. At the time of connection I was assured that there will be 256 kbps speed but I found it is not more than between 1 kbps to 9 kbps sometimes less than 1 or 0. I contacted several times Airtel customer care executives but nothing has been done.

            Now I am trying to connect but it is showing error I contacted again Airtel customer care executive and he told me that my connection has been barred due to negataive address verification. In the comment they mentioned that my home was found locked. They visited my home 3 times on different time slots.

            In fact, no body has come to my home. My family members are always remains at my home. Airtel people were having my mobile number and I was not called even a single time. How can they say like this when no body has come to my home.

            Airtel has charged Rs. 3000/- from me for data card and activation charges but now it seems that I have been cheated and I have lost Rs. 3000/-.

            Please suggest how can I get back my amount Rs. 3000/-

            You are in a much better situation than me. I bought the 3G version at Rs. 3500/- which was supposed to give me 3.1 MBPS speed. However, I am getting the same speed as you are. That means 1/1000th of what I had paid for. Never thought Airtel could be this bad! This is beyond my imagination. All those who have not yet taken a connection please beware.
            This is still ok. With me, I have been told 300Kbps speed and got 80Kbps. Plus, few sites are not available on Airtel gprs. Airtel has promiced 3G service, but its not yet released. It should give EDGE service, while only GPRS is provided. Which doesn't give speed as promiced/expected. After complaining for full one month, and getting "we can not help you" service, I stopped using my number. And now, I am getting regional manager's letter, then some legal notice from their lawyer. I didn't expect Airtel to give a very pathetic service and on top of that harass customer like this. I will suggest never go for Airtel's 3G data card service.
            i m totaly agree...
            the agent told me there will be the speed of minimum of 236 kb/s but i reciving only around 40-50 and i also had taken the unlimited pack of 999 (1130 approx)...which is really costly for me and when i did the complaints against the speed and want to return the devise they refuses to it back, ...
            I m now bieng helpless...
            I also agree. I have been complaining since January 2010 till now for airtel data card less speed issue.Every time they told me that within two days your problem will be resolved but no results yet. Airtel is worst.

                Respected sir/madam,
                I had requested for disconnection of my add on no. [protected] on the month of oct 2009 . on my request there is no action. On the next bill circle, i was surprised to see the chrges of same no. After enquiring, i came to know that my application of disconnection is not forwarded & mis-placed by pacific communication,sco-19,leela bhawan, opp.icici bank, Patiala (Pb.). On again request by pacific communication, i again gave them request on 26/12/2009 & request no is :30138258 . On the seeing of next month bill statement, i was again surprised to see the charges of that mobile no.. I am a very busy surgeon . I received so many calls from Airtel to pay the bill otherwise airtel will disconnect my all numbers. I am very fedup from calls made by airtel. Please give appropriate action against them ASAP.Please feel free for contact me on my given no.

                    Aitel have infomed me that they are reducing the speed of Broadband connection for my Phone[protected] at Chennai on reaching 100GB of Downloads by approx half to 1149 Honeplan, which is a breach of trust and agreement of terms of service at the time of offering me the Service. Also I want to know under what authority, say like TRAI recommendations etc, they are unilaterally doing this. my efforts to seek redressal through their Customer Care is in vain. please do the needful.

                          Sub: complaints ref no:[protected] and [protected] – regarding
                          My mobile no is [protected]. I’m using your airtel prepaid service for the last two years.
                          Now i’m in a plan to change my mobile service to other network along with my family members’ numbers. Reason is above mentioned complaint reference, just go through the conversations between me and your customer care persons.
                          The mistake is mine. First i used your gprs service. While i’m surfing in net cricinfo.com i accidentally touched a games download link (my mobile is a touch screen mobile). That’s my second mistake. After that i received a message from airtel live mentioning that my balance is reduced for downloading games from airtel live using wap. 99 rupees gone. Well actually you take it from my account without my consent. I gave a complaint this to customer care. They talked nice safeguarding your service.
                          Just a accidental single click, you took my money. Well, that’s a nice way to earn money.
                          I’m spending around 400 rupees for a month for using airtel service for various recharge. But this is the response from you.
                          I’m thinking that you purposefully put that link in most of the pages in such a way that if accidentally someone clicked that link you will take their money even without downloading any thing. Check my account. I didn’t download a single kb from that address.
                          Ok any how, you won, keep my money. No need to return. Even if i go to consumer court you will win. But i’m going to throw away your sim card after all our rate cutter validity over on april. Not only me all my family members using airtel because i’m using it. They ll also throw it. So you are the loser.
                          There are various ways to earn money. But this is cheating. Bye. Only fools will download games by spending money when there are thousand sites giving it free of cost.

                          I hav activated GPRS on 30 dec 2009 at 11.30 after that i was been charged 15rs for activated GPRS which is unlimted GPRS service, after that i started browsing and i was been charged 30ps/50kb also and i was having 32 rs and minus 15rs of GPRS means my balnace was 18 rs and it was reduced to 0.00...so plz i request to give refund for wat i charged for 18rs with no .[protected]

                            after the 07-jan-2010 we daily receive a call from the Airtel side to pay your bill , why should we pay the bill if we already give a request either to disconnect this connection or give a broadband connection with the same number.

                            Please sort it out this problme we havn't expect this type of services from the Airtel

                            Airtel Broadband Services — excessive bills that too before the due date

                            The internet facility was installed on 10th of september and we started availing the services from 12th of september...but the bill has been sent for the billing period 23rd of august to 22nd of september on 29 th of september, which means the bill has been sent within the completion of one month.All the more the bill is sent for Rs746.80 though the plan we have opted for is of 499 . Accordingly the bill shoul be maximum for Rs 550 even if the add tax to the amount and amount 746.80 is impossible to receive. My due concern is this company should be sued for misdirecting their customers within as shortest time as possible as we received the bill within the completion of one month and dat too for an extra amount.Please take the necessary action required.

                              I subcribed for message voucher of Rs. 20. My balance deducted at that time and SMS came that maessage will be credit within 24 hours but nothin done yet.

                                i want to 3 months mobile postpaid call details ( h. b.gopal. mobile no. [protected]
                                I have postpaid mobile connection no. is [protected], I had regularly paid bill for the mentioned no. by doing SMS to 121 for bill then I paid the same amount. I had asked for bill statement to send it on my Res. address But no action was took I don't know why?
                                But Now from last 2-3 months I got more than Rs. 900.00 bill for every month and my use of mobile is not much more because this no. comes under Reliance Corporate Plan.
                                I had visited AIRTEL Gallery at Kalyan to launch the complaint regarding to this but in-vain.
                                I request you pl personly look into this and I will not pay 1Rs. till I will get the bill statement.
                                I talk every day to Customer care no. but still i did not get any bill statement.

                                Hopes you help me in this regards.

                                  Dear Sir,

                                  I have applied for the 2nd Broadband connection from your organisation on 10th Jan 2010 with Ref no – 5879300 on Customer Care 121. A sales executive Mr. Alok ([protected]) contacted us for the Broadband connection and filled an Enrollment Form No. – 1883188, with amount of Rs. 2447/- holding Chq no 588089 dated 18 Jan 2010, we decided to opt 256kbps plan with a telephone connection along with the plan. He himself very much sure for the availability of TAG in our area, where as I spoke earlier with the Airtel engineer for the connection as the there is no tag availability in our area.

                                  Further he sends a technician Mr. Sandeep from Tilak Nagar for the wiring done and the new telephone.

                                  On 20th Jan 2010 Mr. Alok made a call to us for the non availability of TAG in our area as the same is confirmed earlier went to very shocking and humiliation on our part.

                                  This seems to be very unethical in terms of customer retention.

                                  As a sales executive he is liable to be known the customer requirements.

                                  To a very extent when we ask for the refund he gave another Senior Sales executive Mr. Vipin Garg’s ([protected]) mobile no and said to speak for the refund he replied with the false statements about the connection and the amount will refund within 15 to45 days.

                                  This is more rudeness from a distinguished company like yours that you give a chance to those people who doesn’t know the meaning of Customer Care.... Is this the way of your company handling the customers?

                                  Kindly take a stringent action against these people Mr. Alok and Mr. Vipin who continuously make false statements with the customers for their own benefits.

                                  Kindly acknowledge the same and do forward me with the ongoing status in this context.

                                  Further, if there is no action takes place against these people I am liable to go to the consumer court for misleading the customers in evident to these people as well as the company.

                                  I recharged my nobile with Rs14 after choosing a plan from AIRTEL WEBSITE on 10.6.2015. It said ALL STD CALLS @40p FOR 18 DAYS. In simple language ALL STD CALLS mean STD Mobile n Landline. However I do not get this benefit when I call a STD landline.
                                  In the same list it is clearly mentioned that for Rs41 ONLY STD MOBILE CALLS @35p.One understands that the benefit is only for STD monile calls.
                                  The language on the website is misleading and cheats the customer.

I BROWSED GPRS, CHANGED TARRIF PLAN.TILL NOW I WAS SATISFIED.BUT FROM PAST 1 YEAR I AM GETTING SPORTS ALERT FOR 30/- RUPEE PER MONTH AND FUSION LOUNGE FOR 15/-FOR EVEY FORTNIGHT. I WANT TO DEACTIVATE, I DID CONTACT YOUR OFFICE AT MY PLACE IN GULBARGA,KARNATAKA. BUT STILL THERE IS NO RESPONSE. I HAVE THRE NETWORK COMPANY SIMCARDS NOW. IF THIS SERVICES ARE NOT CANCELLED AND I WOULD NOT GET CHARGED FOR THAT I WILL CONTINUE WITH IT OR ELSE I HAVE TO CHANGE TO OTHER SERVICES.

                                      SUB: Concern with regard to non- refund of money collected (500) for Internet Broadband Service (TBLR 0075160 dated 12 January 2010).

                                      Dear Sir/Madam,

                                      I would like to bring to your kind attention a very regretful experience that I had with Airtel BroadBand services. With the intention that I would be getting the best of the internet services, I had contacted Airtel Bangalore team to check for the feasibility of their service in my area (as specified above). One of your associates named Muniraj (with mobile no [protected]) came to my home. He had taken cash of Rs.500/-, my passport copy & my photograph with the assurance that connectivity would be provided by 20 January 2010. Once the payment was done, the scenario had taken a dramatic turn.

                                      Following are my concerns.

                                      • The associate named Muniraj, had not reverted back to me with the status of my connectivity.
                                      • Muniraj had not even uploaded my TBLR 0075160 to the Airtel system. This was confirmed by the Airtel customer care team.
                                      • I tried contacting the customer care service department, but they were not helpful in any way.
                                      • After days of repeated calls, Muniraj responded that “We could not provide you broadband connectivity in your area”
                                      • After making lots of calls to the customer care center, they have registered a service request (request no 28568954.).
                                      • I tried reaching the associate Muniraj, but he kept promising me that he would be returning the money soon.
                                      • A lady from the Complaint cell named, Vinoda with contact no[protected] had called me up and informed that she will follow up on this issue. She did not revert back and when I contacted her she was telling that she had lost all my details and needed the details again. This was quite embarrassing for a customer to keep calling your customer as well as complaint cell repeatedly .
                                      • I fear to recommend Airtel to my friends circle.

                                      I Need the following actions at the earliest.
                                      • I need my money back at the earliest.
                                      • Please ensure return of my documents and photograph along with the cash.
                                      • I need a time frame as to when all the settlements would be completed.

                                      Considering the suffocation that I have in my mind, I think this is the most polite email that I could sent you out. Would appreciate a quick turnaround.

                                      These aspects had made me think twice to have any of bharti products hereafter.

                                      I have the same experience. I had applied for airtel broadband in July, 2009 in Kolkata but till date have not got any refund of Rs. 500/- that they collected. After following up for more than 6 months I left any hope and I have now relocated to Bangalore.

                                        Few days back I received a mail from airtel corporate connection department informing me of court notice filed against me for not paying the Bill.
                                        I read the mail after the date to appear in court had already passed.
                                        Actually when I got transferred from bangalore to pune I asked Airtel to discontinue my connection. I did not make payment because I had not recieved the Bill.They cancelled my connection without asking for payment or sending the Bill.
                                        After sometime one person from airtel called me asking to make payment. I asked him how to make the payment. He told me to do so online which i couldn't do as my connection was already closed. I tried to pay to nearest Airtel center but they said this is Maharashtra centre and you cannot pay here. Meanwhile I asked the person to send me the bill to my mail id but i didn't receive it. On further asking for any alternate method to pay the bill he provided me one address to send a cheque in favour of airtel. But I told him that as soon as i receive the Bill I will make the payment. That person talked to me very rudely and said you people dont pay the bills and make useless excuses and cut the phone.
                                        I ignored the matter but then they sent me a court notice saying that i have to appear in bangalore court. As I am in Pune it is very difficult for me to go to Bangalore.
                                        How should I deal with this matter. Should I pay the bill without receiving/going through the bill or hire a lawyer for this? Please help.

                                        how can I be assured that the notice has been withdrawn?
                                        I would appreciate if I get a mail from your corporate collection department mentioning the case withdrawl.
