I,Mr. Harmesh Bhambi,senior citizen and resident of C-887,East of Kailash have been getting some "model of the day" services per month by airtel.Please note I never subscribed to the same but still have to pay Rs.50 unnecessarily!

Airtel — black day celebrated by airtell

The great company is celebrating 31st dec and 1st jan as a black day, means the company is charging money for SMS(even though free msgs service is being activated). they are also ruining our festivals by charging compulsory for a SMS.
can't we inform TRAI & goverment about it.

just for making money thease telecommunication companies are following this kind of a ridiculus tricks.
I, Stuti Sinha is facing the same problem. I never subscribed for the sub model servirce of Airtel and have to pay for the services. Please help me out of this.

    This is to bring your kind attention that my outgoing and incoming calls of [protected] were barred even after paying my bill. I paid the bill of 400/- to one of the Airtel stores (North West Marketeers(p) Ltd. 32, main Bazar, Hudson line, Kingsway Camp, Delhi-110009) on 3rd Dec 2009. Then I went to my native place Panjipara (West Bengal) to sell my house. I had limited approved leaves from my office and my cell phone was the only way for communication at that time. I gave my number to everyone including clients who were interested to buy my house. Suddenly on 24th Dec 2009 it started showing that SIM card registration failed. I was in complete shock, all my plans came to halt and no one was able to contact me and I had only one option left that is to come back Delhi.
    I came back and called 121 on 28th Dec 2009 at 10:41 PM and asked the executive to loge a complaint and he gave me the complaint number as[protected]. I went to the Airtel stores (North West Marketeers(p) Ltd. 32, main Bazar, Hudson line, Kingsway Camp, Delhi-110009) on 29th Dec 2009 again and they realized their fault and recharged my account with 400/-.
    When I tried to find the status of my complain then I came to know that the executive made me FOOL actually he gave the reference number to me and lied that he had logged the complain. Now my concern is that who is responsible for the inconvenience caused to me. Due to this kind pathetic service of Airtel I was not mentally disturbed but also I faced monetary loss. How will Airtel compensate this heavy loss of mine?

    i took a new postpaid connection 3 weeks ago. but now connection is dead. i informed the franchise, but no use . they r telling it ll b ok soon . since yesterday i cant use my phone .even im not able to contact customercare

      We wish to inform you that the Mobile Office 200 MB GPRS Free(1 Bill cycle), thereafter 10p/10KB pack is active on your airtel mobile effective from[protected].

      But now on consuming 179.1 mb data they are charging Rs. 958.30/- from me and no one is interested to resolve the matter. When I call to 121 customer care number they let me know that yes you are overcharged and bill will be rectified. but on mail they answering that all the charges are correct.

      I got stucked in Airtel's false commitment and paying unnecessarily for around Rs. 1000/-. by which I can use 10 gb data downloading in 10 months on normal services provided by them.

      please look into the matter. below are the offer details


      Browsing Charges: 200 MB GPRS is free(1 Bill cycle), thereafter 10p/10KB pack

      Total Usage on bill dated[protected]: 183430KB. Hence, you have consumed
      179.1MB(prorata charges)
      Amount: Rs. 1958.30/-

        This is regarding my postpaid mobile no. [protected]. I have been requesting Airtel to change my company name from Ness Technologies to AI Consulting. I had first submitted the request on 1st August 2009. Every month I call up Airtel to request again to make the requested changes and get a commitment from them that from next bill, the correct company name would be printed. But till now the old company name gets printed on my bill. Due to this, I am unable to use the bill for taxation purposes.
        I have talked not only with the customer care executives, but also with their managers AND the NODAL OFFICER. It seems that the actual department which makes the necessary changes is not bothered and is not doing the needful.
        I have the relevant emails that i have sent to Airtel's customer care and the nodal officer on the published email IDs.
        I would like to say that Airtel has hired people which are either incompetent (they do not understand the simple request of changing company name) or they are totally indifferent to customer needs.

          DearSir/Madam,

          My name is K. P. Saravanan and my PF Number is HR/GGN/10693/015735.

          I applied for PF withdrawal from my previous company (Bharti Airtel Services Ltd.) I was sent the privies company form10C and 19 for the month of April 2009. I kept waiting patiently but there was no reply from anyone.

          . I approached BASL with my complaint in July 09 and they said that they have recd the request and it would be done in 60 days time.

          I contacted BASL again in Oct 09 and they said that they have done their part and application is pending in EPF office Gurgaon.

          It is really disappointing the way this whole process works and we have to wait for years, to get our own money. Some strict action needs to be taken against this.

          Bharti Airtel — My Issue is Pending from last 10 months...

          Poonam, this is Piyush Gupta. We had a telephonic discussion on July 1, 2009. My Account close Issue is still pending, as per discuss with you, I did not receive any call from Airtel, So as you were saying, I made payment, which is on higher side as on my monthly bill.

          You have included Rs. 1100/- for advance rental plan and service tax with number. I never request to activate. I request to Airtel please discontinue this number because you are not able to solve my problem, instead of discontinue my number, Airtel activate advance rental. I will not pay that amount.

          I received a call from unknown number he him self say mediator from Airtel and consumer. He was saying he is an Advocate. Ha was doing loose talk. He is not supposed to do like that. If he is from Airtel side then please inform him do not do like that other wise I also can take some action against him as well as against Airtel. Because I have informed so many time to Airtel regarding my outstanding balance.


          How would I know, he is right fellow or not. And why I give that much of amount. I will give my actual bill what ever is outstanding…

          I am again requesting to customer care officer / Applate officer / Nodal Officer please pay attention in my case and take some action regarding the same. I want to clear my account As Soon As Possible.

            Hi I am sumit kapoor and i had applied for a new airtel broadband connection in november 2009, a person named rajesh from Devesh enterprises ( Airtel ) came to my house and asked me to fill up the form . i filled the form and an amount of 2100 rupees as registration and installation fees to him.after one day i got a pone call form aome line man form airtel that there is no feasibilty of a new connection in my locality.i called mr rajesh and he said he will come back to me, which he never. i called hime after two days and to my surprise he said that we cannot provide you with a new internet connection. i asked hime to refund my money to which he told me that a check from airtel will be sent to my address with in four days. after a week i tried to call him and he never attended to my call. this contibued till one month. and he never called me back. after that i called to airtel AP customer service and told them about the problem and they assured me the cheque will be send to me by 29 of nov 2009. i called them back by 4th december as i didn't recive any cheque form airtel.After all this i agin called airtel customer care and warned them of severe conquences by police as i was about to go to police station for logging an FIR , on 6th morning i got a call form airtel and they told me that i will be getting my cheque with in a week by 12th dec.Finally i got the money back on 14th dec after approx one and half month ,without using any services form aitel and my money was blocked with them. I request people readinf this to please black list any person coming to you from Devesh enterprises for any new connection of airtel broadband as he is a irresponsible person and would request the airtel authorities at higher level to please look into thses types of cases and try to figure out some solution ,so as to minimise such instances.

              I have been recieving calls from a mob no.[protected] and asking for some Anubha or Arti saying that he got my no. from Airtel Tadkalive Website. I tried to complain on airtel customer care but no results came, they said that the whole id has been created on the website from my mob. no. plz do something and delete my id from tre,my mob no. is [protected].

                Hi Sir,

                I had an AIRTEL post paid connection with the number +91-[protected]. I had lost the SIM card in early 2009. Some time later i got a call from airtel that i have unpaid bills for that number. As it was my mistake that I did not cancell the connection, I paid all the pending amount on 2nd week of July 2009 (which are mentioned below) and requested to cancell the account.( I was forced to pay the money to have the account cancelled).

                On 23rd November, i got a mail from Airtel that i still have a due of Rs:957.28 towards the connection. I had replied on the same day to that mail specifing that i have cancelled the connection, but i did not get any reply from Airtel.

                After that i got about 4-5 calls from Airtel for the same problem and when i told them that i had placed a cancellation request already, they informed me that they would get back to me, but every time new representative used to talk with me.

                On 4th January i got a call from Airtel legal department for the settlement of the same issue and as i dont have any service request number for which i had placed for the cancellation, they informed that they will go legally if i dont settle the bills. I clearly informed that i had cancelled the connection long back and even if we make call to that number, we get a reply that it is not a valid number. Airtel is billing for invalid numbers also.

                Please register my complaint and suggest me.

                  I want to bring your attention towards Airtel pathetic services thru following facts :


                  Sep 30, 2009
                  1. I talked to your customer representative Mr Mohd. Amir for the availability of broadband connection at Sector-92, Noida, U.P. I was given Service Request No[protected]. Eventhough I knew about the non-availability of your circle at Sector-92, noida through your web-site , I still thought of confirming thru your customer representative which was my 1st mistake. I was told that confirmation will be given in a time of 3-4 days which never came to me.

                  2. After waiting patiently for so many days, I talked to Ms Parool regarding the SR No[protected] for which she told that it has not been forwarded till date. When I shocked to find that no action has been taken for 20 day, she quickly agreed to tell me the status in 2 days. Within 2 days I was told that Airtel broadband is not possible at Sector-92, Noida, UP.

I notified the customer representative Mr Nazim (Retention Officer) on Oct 27, 2009 via SR No.[protected] to regarding the immediate disconnection of above mentioned account no. i.e. 13998803 as I have shifted from the existing residence to the newer one. Instead of my repeated insistence to disconnect, he told that it will be checked for the feasibility for the connection at new location. I told clearly that the non-availability of circle has already been checked at your site and also thru SR No[protected] dt Sep 30, 2009 but he paid no heed to my advice.

Since a simple disconnection was taking so much time and I was not sure about the status of my connection, I decide to check via your web site, I found that it is still showing active. The I talked to your representative Mr Rehman for status of request no-856642. Again it was not even forwarded and was lying idle. I was assured of reply and action within 2 days.

                  7. I again checked your website. The account no was still showing active. Also to add insult to the injury the bill was also prepared up to Nov 22, 2009 whereas I have asked for the immediate disconnection on Oct 27, 2009.

                  For your reference, I also had a BSNL connection on my residence which was disconnected on the same date which I mentioned in the request. This is for the people who compare service of Airtel to BSNL.

                  As on date bills are being raised. I am so disgusted about Airtel services and your customer representatives that I have stopped about asking and talking to your representatives about the connection. I have deposited my Nov 2009 for the charges upto Oct 2009.

                    i was using prepaid blackberry connect plan for 299 on my nokia e90. since i got blackberry device itself i approached airtel to deactivate my 299rs plan from my e90 for the last 2 months..till now they have NOT DONE and they are deductiong 299 plus taxes.
                    I have sent many mails..to nodalofficer.[protected]@airtel.in .[protected]@airtel.in,sudha.[protected]@airtel.in
                    but till now nothing has happened..they are telling to send UNUMP to 121 but it takes to someother services
                    my complaint number is[protected]
                    they are not really genuine in deactivating..as they have the upperhand of just deducting from the prepaid phone..
                    i have sent more than 20 emails in this regard...none of the customer care guys really know anything of how to deactivate...also the website does not provide any clue of deactivation..

                      Myself rajesh dhardev from kutch dist. gujarat, i am using the airtel prepaid in gujarat, two days ago i was started the AON service for gprs, in the gprs i was download two game from free zone, from www.waptrick.com/games, as because of the free zone its not chargeble, but the company airtel charged me 25 Rs. on first day, after that i called customer care for the same, from there one madam named jyoti supervisor of team, has returned me the same amt, after one day when i am in my work & that day my Aon service is not activated, but at 07:00 Pm i have received one msg. writting that i have charged 10 rs. for the game's club from airtel, as i not serfing this site for first time, this site i always use & i never charged, but the airtel company still charged me the same.
                      After that i called customer care for the same & one executive told me that they can't return my amt., i hardly informed him for the same but he told that the charged cutted was right & after during the call he droped the call & so again i call for the same & i asked previous executive name but they does't give me that.
                      so please do some for me as this company is not correct, & Right now my airtel link to talk executive is not active, i think they barred that link for me , i called three times previously in the day.

                        Dear Sir,

                        I have an Airtel connection for last almost two years - this month they have blocked all the Toll Free numbers for residential clients. This is said to be done for some security reason. The only security reason I can think of financial security of Airtel - they are forcing me to dial a international number which results in huge revenues for them.

                        I have decided to pull the plug on Airtel - but I write in for other who may be facing similar issues with Airtel
                        HI sir now we are present stay in hyd ..so i want new land line connection offf air tel please give replay as sooon as possible...

                          I have airtel pre-paid connection no.[protected], I am facing a problem of 121 service since 6 months. My 121 service goes stop again and again without any reason, It makes me unable to contact the customer care. I complained to customer care by other mobile, they said "we are not able to start the service", then I contacted (By e-mail) the nodal officer. But even they can not resolve the roblem permanently.

                          Please help me!

                            I have an airtel post-paid connection for last 3 years. Mine is CUG 399 plan. I have tried changing my bill plan several times, but it never reflects in the system. I am getting very huge bills. Recently I tried to change my bill plan to "Freedom" plan that is 1p/sec plan. I followed the instructions mentioned in the website, i also got an sms from 121 saying "Airtel Freedom 249 plan would be activated on your airtel mobile from the next billing cycle and you will receive an sms..." I received this message on 14th Dec, 2009 and my bill plan is supposed to change from 27th dec, 2009. But i find no change in my bill plan. can someone please help? My working hrs are very odd and I am not able to take out time to reach nearest Airtel showroom.

                            airtell/freedom plan — non-activation

                            I have a airtell no. [protected] of post-paid connection(Freedom-plan) about 9 months ago. According to this plan i had given Rs.1500 for this connection, after 6 months i have got bill of Rs.1355 including advance 6 months rental fees of Rs. 896. Due to shifting my job from u.p. to jaipur i paid my bill delay $ according to retention executives of Rs.1400 and they commited me that my no. will be start within 2 days. Now after 12days continuesly i m in touch with ur call center and Shikha srivastava(C.R.E. of shan traders, civil lines, allahabad) $ they r saying that ur no. is permanentally disconnected. So PLEASE take a quick action and start my no. as i had paid my 6 months rental advance of Rs 896 and seeing my old payment records otherwise i will be force to not have faith in AIRTEL...
                            I need an explanation to my complaint. I am using a CUG connection. If my problem is not resolved soon, i can promise you that my word of mouth will affect the Airtel Sim card users in my company.

                              Dear Sir,
                              I am having mobile no [protected] which I had taken about 10 months back as PrePaid Mobile No.

                              On Govt barring Pre Paid mobiles in J & K I got this number converted into POST PAID after submitting all requisite documents.

                              The phone worked as 1 Paisa /Sec for 2-3 days and then suddenly all outgoing calls have got barred.

                              Following Complaints with AIRTEL have not been responded to till date despite the fact that I had Rs 287 /- Balance in my Prepaid Account And had also paid Rs 99/- for conversion to 1P/Sec.

                                    I wanted to bring in notice of the company that the kind of service provided by the Airtel employees is really pathetic.
                                    Just writing customer focus in Vision & mission statement, will not serve pupose. Ground reality is worst.
                                    In spite of registering the complaint more than 30 - 40 times from last 4-5 month, till no action has been taken from their end. My complain ref nos are sometimes even not communicated to me. I had a talk with escalation manager of Post Paid section also who told it will be resolved within 5 days.

                                    Lots of commitments were made by them but they didn't even have a courtesy to reply back about the progress of work and I am still struggling with my network problem. My card is a corporate post paid type.

                                    Secondly when we have not paid bills due to unavailability of services or solutions, min 40 calls a day come for reminding bill payment.

                                    Also false commitment regarding money waive were done by your department but still not kept their words.

                                    It was really a tedious experience with Airtel.

                                    I was very loyal customer of Airtel since 6 yrs (frequently switching b/w diff no. of airtel for security purpose every year), but airtel has hurted us like anything.

                                      Blackberry service Activation Problems
                                      I have a Blackberry 8520 handset (which is sim locked to airtel).I am a prepaid user and I had used the airtel bb plan 299 for the first month, for which it worked efficiently. From the next month onwards I wanted to reactivate the plan. For that I messaged 121 for activation but I am receiving the msg that
                                      "we already have a provisioning request under processing. please wait while we process your request."
                                      And it has been 3 months that I am still waiting without any activation. I sms'd 121 atleast 100 times also called the BB technical support 20 times and am running around the Airtel customer service center, I am getting a frustrating response that there is a server problem and it will get sorted out but there is no time limit for this.

                                      I am facing the same problem, the BB support center keeps telling me they will speak to the technical team and get it fixed but they don't. I am tired of calling and asking for help. I regret having an airtel connection and plan to switch as soon as possible if this problem isn't fixed, my mom has a blackberry with vodafone and it works perfectly

                                        My self rahul nema ( P. No. [protected]) has applied for conversion of post paid to prepaid connection on 03/10/2009 & paid the dues Rs 130 on 05/10/2009 to M/S shree ganga communications , haridwar.
                                        I had completed all the required formalities in the above mentioned office but the needful has not yet been completed.
                                        I have also talked to customer care executives twice or thrice but to no avail.
                                        I have received a bill with an amount of rs 1258 for the period of 05/10/2009 to 05/12/2009.
                                        It is really frustrating to be dealing with a company which boasts itself to be the best telecom operator in india.
