    This company is hoax company full of harassers and broken systems. Due to the Pandemic I have had to change cities and no longer required the Airtel broadband connection that I was using in Bangalore. I called Airtel help desk multiple times to register a cancellation request to which they never payed heed. Out of frustration I also reached out to them via mail on [protected]@in.airtel.com to cancel my connection.

    Despite making several attempts to get my cancellation request, Airtel seemed to have made up their mind to continually harass me. Calling me 2-3 times every single day asking for bill payments for future 3 months (since it's an advance rental plan)!! Why should I pay when I have already requested cancellation and you have acknowledged the same through mail.

    With the customer executives its a different kind of nightmare altogether, when I explain my problem and ask to speak to someone incharge they conveniently cut my call and call me back again later.

    I had heard of many terrible similar experiences of customers with Airtel when it came to cancelling the broadband connection, but never though I would go through the same.

    I want Airtel to stop calling me at once for prepaid bill payments for the month of January- Feb- March 2021!
    And I want an apology for the continual mental harassment by them. I also want to know how Airtel plans to rectify this broken system so that future consumers don't face the same issue.

    Hi team Airtel,

    After spending hours on you IVR and trying to find a deactivation option on your thanks app, I have resorted to writing a Mail.

    I wish to discontinue my Airtel broadband service.

    Please discontinue this service at once. Incase you need any other information please let me know at the earliest.

    The outstanding bill amount is for the coming months which I should not be liable to pay.
    I will also not be liable to pay any other charges from the day I have sent this mail to you.

    Under no circumstances/offers will I be persuaded to continue this service, so please do not offer alternative packages or so.

    Please kindly reply at the earliest.

    Hi Airtel team,

    What is wrong with your customer service???!!!
    It’s been quite sometime since I have posted this mail to you, letting you know that I want to discontinue the broadband service!!

    Not only did I not receive any reply from you, moreover I get calls everyday single day!! Its been almost 8-9 phone calls asking me repeatedly why I haven’t paid the bill!! And me explaining over and over that this is advance rental plan, when I have said I want to discontinue why should I pay for months of November and October?!!

    Airtel I would like to inform you, this is customer harassment, the next time someone communicates with us please ensure that they are talking about discontinuation of the service and not bill payment.

    If this issue is not resolved soon, please know I will not hesitate to take this issue to the next level.

    Very poor customer service, I will not consider Airtel for any of my future internet providers and inform my relatives and friends of the same.

    By when can I expect the connection to get disconnected ? Can you please also send an updated bill? The current bill you have provided is for months of Oct and Nov which I will not pay.
    Provide a new bill only until September that I will accept to pay.
    I continue get calls from Airtel for bill payment? I don’t understand why? When I have repeatedly told the same thing over and over again. Extremely extremely horrible customer experience.

      For the past 3 years we are getting very weak signal (voice and data) in
      our residence:
      V. SRINIVASAN, HEMA SRINIVASAN
      KENDRIYA VIHAR, BLOCK - C7, FLAT- 93
      PARUTHIPATTU, AVADI
      CHENNAI- 600071.
      We lodged complaint many times, but no outcome. This problem is faced by all residents (572 families) living in this Kendriya Vihar colony (Phase- 2). There was a proposal to erect a tower nearby area by AIRTEL. But nothing happened. It is a very serious problem and Airtel technicians need to visit this site and interact with consumers and find a permanent solution for this weak signal (both voice and data). Many times we have to come out of our flats to open space to receive the mobile call.

            R/Sir, I am a broadband user of Airtel Service provider, in the month of Mar-20, i raised a complaint to customer care of Airtel for resolving my issue to get the connection maintenance, but due to instantly started to pandemic covid 19 situation, no one could visit at our location, whenever we raised complaint received the same message from the Airtel customer care to have a visit very soon by the Airtel Engineer once the problem of Covid-19 is resolved, but never made a visit.
            Now the situation here is that my broadband connection got discontinued automatically, i was informed by one of Airtel Engineers.

                But from last 2 days I have been getting issues in my area where the internet disruption is happening and my broadband is not working and which is a problem for me where me and my wife are working from home and due to which both are work or productive timeis getting seriously impacted.

                I have attached the screenshots for the message coming for disruption.

                I really want you guys to please take this complaint very very seriously as I want someone to look into this and check why this outage has been started.

                Also from my area there are 3 person who are responsible for the technical assistance but no one pick up the call and check the issues details are given below

                    Hi Airtel customer support team

                    My Airtel no is [protected]. I use iphone for this number. Complaint is that calls are getting disconnected frequently. I don't receive calls and my friends complain that, I called you and you did not receive the call. This is because I don't get the ring at the first instance. If I call any one the signals are very bad. Even the 4G net work is not appropriate as expected. If no action from your end to rectify the signals, I have no option but portability. Please look into this issue immediately.

                                I had recharged for whole year data subscription worth Rs 2700 . I was debited instantly but no recharge, i tried contacting airtel multiples times regardind the issue but once i call their helpline no there is no option to proceed, worst customer care they have .
                                Airtel just loot their customers on failed recharge also i didnt get my money till now as they promise it will be credited back to account..pls resolve this issue..2700 is a big amount. I would suggest people never try to pay for a recharge plan of more then 1 month and try to avoid airtel services..previously i hated jio but atleast they are not so cheap like you guys .

                                  I looked at Airtel website (https://www.airtel.in/dth/Kolkata) and found 3 types of connections were available -
                                  1. Xstream Basic
                                  2. Xstream Premium
                                  3. HD-High Definition

                                  I booked my Digital TV connection by dialing[protected] after consultation with Airtel Customer Care Executive on 25 Nov, 2020 after looking at the information regarding New Digital TV Connection on their website and on 26 Nov, 2020 in the afternoon, installation of the same was done.

                                  But to my surprise, I found that a SD quality Set Top Box had been installed, although I never asked for any SD Set Top Box and I have never been informed that I would be given SD Set Top Box.

                                  I am totally frustrated by the process followed by such a renowned company to give poor quality Set Top Box and I feel cheated.

                                  I never even imagined that some professionals of such a renowned company like Airtel could be involved in such an unethical activity of giving inferior quality Set Top Box without even letting the customer know.

                                  I registered my complaint by sending a mail to [protected]@airtel.com with all these details on 26 Nov, 2020 and by dialing[protected] on 27 Nov, 2020. I also sent mail with the details to AIrtel Nodal Officer (nodalofficer.[protected]@in.airtel.com). But so far, didn't get any resolution. Therefore, I am raising my complaint looking for a quick resolution.

                                  Kindly replace the given SD Set Top Box with a HD Set Top Box at the earliest.

                                    In the month of November 2020, TDA had applied for the Airtel Xstream Fibre 5G Service for the whole office setup including (back office and front office). It was with high service prospected that a so-called big name like Airtel offered us uninterrupted high-speed internet service.

                                    But the truth of reality turned to be contrarily worst as it within two days it's internet service went out of track and many of our systems were inactive with the broadband connectivity and upon calling them they were sending inexperienced hardware personnel for the task of networking which is a software task.

                                    More than half month has passed and half dozen times TDA registered a customer complaint regarding but on in all the same story, upon pressuring as to what the exact issue, they said it is related to networking and they do not have any man for it. The internet connection gets active on some systems only while on others it goes missing.

                                    This is the futile situation of this tech giant firm which claim to provide the so-called "best internet service". The area manager does not have even a clue as to what can be done, they are only concerned with billing and false offers.

                                    TDA calls out Airtel (Bharti Airtel Ltd) to address this grave issue and resolve at first hand. If they really have "spine", If they really care for customers then we are expecting a solution to it.

                                    We are highly disappointed and irked with this service quality and conduct by Airtel and hereby declare not to pay a single penny till the solution is provided and urge everyone to raise their voice against this big company's anti-customer side.

                                      I, Javed Ahmad Khan, am using airtel sim. Since last two days there is no network in the sim. I went to airtel store in New Delhi and been told that sim is not registered in my name, so same Mobile number can not be issued to me. I am using the same number since last 8/9 years. I purchased the sim using my college identity card when I was in Dhanbad. Also all my ban account, aadhar are linked to the same number. I need the same number. I am ready to submit all the document needed like aadhar /pan.

                                        Hi,
                                        My mother ported her Vi number to Airtel in early August. She went to Canada later in August and left her Airtel number with her sister in India. After two months, her Airtel number stopped working completely and gives an error "Not Registered". Her sister went to Airtel store to get it checked but they said that sim is bad and no longer works. They refused to replace the sim. The number is 15 years old and is the primary and only contact that everyone has. It is also linked to her bank accounts and all other government services where phone number is mandatory. She cannot pay anymore bills because she cannot get OTP without getting the number fixed.

                                        I also contacted Airtel through Facebook and Twitter, but no one has been able to tell me the problem and how to fix it. They keep on asking me to provide an alternate number for them to contact. I live in Canada so I provided them my Canadian number. They always come back by saying that "They tried to call us but couldn't reach me". I have heard the same response so many times when I didn't receive a single call from Airtel. I also asked them to provide me a number so that I can call from here but they did not provide that either. I asked to provide proof of calls that they made and they did not provide that either. I asked them for complaint reference number and they haven't given me anything even after asking more than 10 times.

                                        Customer Care on Twitter told me on 24th November that the validity of the pack has expired on 20th November and I should recharge. I did an online recharge of Rs 49 but got an error "Sorry! Your request could not be processed. Please try again later". The amount is already debited from the account. My mother is so stressed because of this and it is so annoying to hear the same response over and over again from Airtel.
