.AIRTEL Mobil costomer care service is very poor .you can not get executive to listen complaints.ihave not subscribe airtel live service for cricket score but they are sanding sms and deducing money every day .I have sand sms to stop this ser vice and also tried their cc no 121 but no result.THEY ARE CHARGING RS 1.50 FOR EVERY CALL ON 121 COSTOMER CARE NO

    Hi,

    This is with regards to Airtel Connection (broadband). The connection was with my friend who has moved out of bangalore and he wanted to transfer the connection to my name. This was to be done free of charge as communicated to him by Airtel. It has already been over 12 days and I am still awaiting for any call from Airtel. The last call I received was by a lady from Airtel asking me my present address (the address to which the connection would be transferred), and she assured me that it would be done in 2 working days. It already has been over 8 working days and I have not received a single call from Airtel regarding this.
    I tried following up on this, but all I get into is a round robin situation, where one department transfers my call to some other dept and this never ends. I got hold of a number to which I can contact, and I have been trying to contact the person, but again, this guy routes my query to some department which does the same.

    This is highly unprofessional behaviour from Airtel and I would really appreciate some quick action on this. For a new connection it hardly takes 3 days but for a existing connection to be transferred its taking more than 10 days (and I dont even know if the process for transferring has started or not as the Airtel Guys are not updating me with the Service Request number. I have repeatedly asked them to tell me the service number so that I can follow it up with the call center, but to no avail).

      sir, i have made request to cut my addon number [protected] which i am not using for 10months. insted for that number they repeatedly cutting my main number ie [protected]. I am practicing in corporate hopsital as emergency surgeon. because of their irresponsible service even after somany complaints they are not rectifying that.

      Sir, i am using Airtel past 5yrs and my No is [protected]. on 3rd Nov 2009 i have made a request to cut my ADD ON NUMBER ie [protected] which i am not using for the past ten months ( complaint No[protected] . But you have cut my main number next day for which again i made a complaint ( No[protected] on 10th Nov 2009. again today ie 12th Nov 2009 my main number was deactivated instead of my add on number for which again i have To made somany calls which makes me emotionally arrogant.         Complaints in Airtel services.

        Dear Sir.
        I am using this mobile service since July 2008 and find it is most anti consumer related. Not only that it runs nefarious business and there is NO Customer Complaint cell.
        1. On 4th November I got one incoming SMS from 5432105 that “Jobs on mobile will be renewed in 3 days. You will be charged Rs. 10 for 10 days service. To deactivate, dial *321*661#. Send tips to 5432105for career tips on job success.
        I dialed then and there on *321*661# in order to deactivate but on the contrary, IT WAS ACTIVATED!! What nonsense!!
        Again to day dated 17th Nov 2009 , I got the SMS from 5432105 that “ jobs on Mobile service has been renewed . You have been charged Rs. 10 for 10 days of service . Send TIPSto 5432105 etc.etc.
        I DO NOT want it nor I accepted , then how they can deduct Rs. 10 forcibly?
        2. Further on few days before, I got the incoming SMS from 543211 that “your hello Tune service will be renewed in 3 days & you will be charged Rs. 30 for 30 days. To stop Hello tunes call[protected] or type STOP & SMS to 121.
        I immediately called[protected], but it was never connected. Rather I got a further message from 543211 that ‘Thank you for calling the Hello Tune services. Call [protected]@Re.1 per min and say the song name / movie name to find your favorite Hello Tune.”
        Seeing this 420 business, I sent SMS to 121, but the reply came “Sorry, no matches found. If you wish to stop your paper bill and subscribe email bill, please send STOP BILL<EMAIL>.
        What NONSENCE again? Hence this unwanted hello tune is being continued!
        3 On 4th morning I dialed Airtel Live 543212 to see if I can lodge a complain, the recorded version started “to listen in Hindi, put 1. Etc etc” and for all NONSENCE versions for 1.03 minutes, I was charged Rs 12.00?? what are all these ?
        4. What all nefarious business?
        5. I get SMS every day several times regarding Cricket Match results for which I never requested nor interested. But Airtel disturbs me a lot and charge the same from me.
        6. This hallow tune is not required by me and at each month they send SMS and it is mentioned that to stop, pl, send SMS etc.I do it, but they are just charging Rs. 30 from me per month for no reason.
        7. I have also lodged complaints in Airtel`s internet complain box , but they never reply , nor acknowledge.
        8. In Airtel service there is No Customer Complaint Cell or System, nor do we know where to lodge the complaints (they have done it purposely to loot the people) but simply paying our hard earned money to Airtel for no reason at all!!
        Hence I request you to take my case seriously and please see I am no more cheated by Airtel. At least I want to know where the Customer Complaint cell is. ?
        Airtel should be booked for running such 420 business and to deprive so many innocent customers every day.

              I Abhilash Pothen a coustemer of Airtel broadband of Madhya Pradesh (Bhopal ) dist.. using the land line form 8 years my Land line no is [protected] and my Account No is 11733824
              and having the rental plan of (449 + service tax.) that bring my bill to 495 monthley... but from few month they have change my rental to (549 SURF plan ) without intimating me or without my written permision...... i have log many complants to the coustmere care ...... they said the company has disconting that 449 plan.... but as per the company rules if any coustmer is using any plan they cant disconning it ....... then how did the Airtel company discontinue my plan.... this means they are trying to increase my billing..... that is injustice to me ........ so its a humble request to get me justisce for only this reason i have log complain to consumer court.......

                Its a problem with numerous customers. I wonder how much money AIRTEL would be generating through such faulty activation of services. The people who do not know what to do in such cases are at great loss. Many a times these are poor customers throughout India. Or even some rich people just let it go. But for sure, AIRTEL is at great profit.
                I never thought a company like Airtel will do this. Are they bankrupt or something?

                I also got this service activated without asking. Deactivated it and again it got activated. Thank God I had some paise left and Airtel didn't eat it. Called CC he told me "yes you activated it, its not our system fault and we got proof for it" and asked me to get itemized bill @ Rs50.
                What kind of robbery is this? :X
                I didn't authorize Airtel customer care to subscribe me cricket updates. They themselves activated it and took my balance. Jerks!!! :X

                I'm gonna throw this [censored]ig airtel SIM away!

                    Dear All Customers,

                    Airtel is by default enabling its chargeble Value added services like WAP, Airtel Live, Downloadings as default features and violating TRAI Rules.

                    As per TRAI guidelines, "No Value added service should be enabled to a customer until his explicit consent". You may download the same from TRAI website.

                    Airtel charged me Rs. 3000 extra for this unwanted Airtel live, WAP and downloadings as Value Added Services (Waste value added services). No body from Airtel is listening..

                    My First question, who told airtel to enable this feature as default feature..


                    I have written this complaint to Nodal officer also, they dont have guts to reply my mail. They all are waste bodies. They dont have common sense and courtesy to reply.

                    I am one of the victim, is there any body else who can join me to fight against Airtel.

                    Also can anybody from TRAI (Telephone Regulatory Authority of India) can help in filing a case against these suckers like Airtel..

                      I too bought a new 6303 and sent a sms for free data usage of 3 months.

                      I did sms " MY DATA" to 543210
                      and i got the reply that the service will be activated within 24 hrs and it has nw become more than 48 hrs the service is till now not activated,

                        Dear Sir,
                        I am using the airtel prepaid with no. [protected] (Chennai). The trouble is that i am recieving unwanted advertisement SMS which to my surprise are also getting charged. Without utilising the services of the network effectively my prepaid top up gets emptied out.
                        It is very annoying that sometimes the no. of such SMS is more than 50 per day.
                        Kindly let me know how to stop this ad SMS.

                        I AM SUNDARAM, AGED 54. LOT OF ADVT ARE RECEIVED THROUGH MY AIRTEL PREPAID CELL PHONE. ON COMPLAINING TO STOP IT THEY ARE TELLING THAT IT WILL TAKE 45 DAYS. WHEN THEY ARE ABLE TO SEND THE ADVT SO MUCH FAST WHY CAN'T THEY STOP IT ON THE SAME OR NEXT 1 OR 2 DAYS WHEN COMPLAINED TO THEM ? I AM SO MUCH IRRITATED TO RECEIVE THE SMS ADVT TO GET CINEMA ACTRESS PICTURES ETC. ETC.
                        MY COMPLAINT REGN NO IS "W[protected]" DT. 23 Aug 2008.

                        Airtel / Prepaid — NDNC breached

                        I have registered for NDNC on November 19, 2007. The reference number for this is W[protected].

                        I still get calls from agents on behalf of Banks and Insurance companies.

                        I would like to know where the complaint for the same should be lodged.

                        Airtel Prepaid — Unwanted ads/sms

                        My mobile number [protected] has been registered for DND for several months. My reference number for registration is S[protected]. In spite of this, I keep receiving10-12 advertisement smses everyday which is really annoying. It takes up so much of my time to delete them all and I have no interest in these ads. Please look into this problem and stop sending these smses.

                          Hi,

                          I had bought a Airtel Data card worth Rs 4200 (including sim charge) on 1.11.08 for a airtel showroom located at NandiDurg road, Bangalore. (It was delivered at home). The datacard stopped functioning after 15 days. I have logged so many complaints in the customer care but there is no response till today. It's a year now and i want to take action on it. I bought it as i had some urgent work. I had a huge loss due to late communication. I could not complete my task and deliver due to the faulty card and no service even after logging the complain.

                          Airtel — No speed and no service reply

                          I have purchased a data USB modem from Airtel show room. When I have purchased that time in the brochure they have mentioned that I will get speed of 30 kbps minimum, but I have not received speed more than 2 KBPS. They are charging very high prise for the USB Modem, when I have called them they said that it will improve sir, and they said me that please make technical complaint to [protected]@airtel.in, but I have not received any reply till now. Please do the needfull to get my payment back. I have paid 5050/- for the modem and 1000/- Rs. as deposit. That also I have to use for 6 months, if I am not using then they will not give met that money back to me.

It was not activated and I have logged complaints in the customer care also, but there is no response till today. I want to take action on it. I bought it as i had some urgent work, as i am doing a 2nd year engineering course. I had a huge loss due to the poor service. I could not complete my task and deliver due the fault card and no service ever after logging the complaint.

                            This is regarding inconvience caused due to CAREFREE ATTITUDE o[censored]r executive at V.P.Road Branch[Charni rd,Mumbai].

                            I had submitted documents DL+Pan card to Yusuf sarai, New Delhi Office on 20/5/08. They confirmed the completeness of documents provided as outstation customers. But while I was on roaming my Outgoing/Incoming stopped on 23-24 June08. I had resubmit documents at South Ex. Centre on 30/6/08. After enquiring on 2 July they told that to take duplicate sim from Nehru Place. On contacting Yusuf Sarai Mr. Mahendra told that your SIM get PD. Take another connection. No one give me answer for what reason they deactivated sim in such a short period. What about my Balance of more than 200 rupees and vailidity of one year.
                            I really get embrassed by behaviour of Airtel Customer Care.

But, On apr. 09, when i used my sim card i found it was deactive. Therfore, i talked to customer care they informed me you did not make any single call to anyone, so it became deactive they also said to start me again submitting a photo and identity paper. Then i made all necessary process with 120 rs/ fee to restart my sim card.
                            But it could not start, i made them call and call. I mailed Airtel Customer Service more than 5 or 6 times which i can show you with unique identity number.
                            Now, what can i do? I should claim it in consumer court or not.

                            My sim card is activated on 15 october 2009 by taking all the documents ( Address proof, Id proof and one photogragh) at Airtel office,near paradise, Secundrabad.I submitted these documents to Mr. yadigiri.
                            But on 26th october2009 it was deactivated all the calls( all incomming and out going calls are barr) and calls are rejected becasuse the documnts are not submitted.
                            Because of these Again I submitted all the documents to Mr. Yadigiri on 26thof october2009 and he said he will solve this issue immediatly. but this is the 5th day till now my problem is not solved.
                            I taken this moblile number only for interview purpose I have to attend telephonic interviews on 27th,28th and 29th of October.
                            Because of this problem I missed all the calls and I lost my good carrier oppertunity.
                            When I am trying to call Mr. yadigiri he is not answering to my calls and not responding and I am doing continues calls to his number he switch off his phone.
                            Airtel is responsible for all these things.
                            I spent lot of money to travell Airtel office so many times but still Iam getting problem.
                            As a lady I am requesting you to people please solve my problem on immediate basis, I have to attend some more telephonic interviews and at this moment I can't change my number because all where I submitted this number.

                            I am a user of Pre-paid SIM (Sim No - [protected]), of Air Tel since last approx six months. Since last approx 15 days, some unknown scheme / service is provided by Air Tel in the form of Received message, which is forcibly activated without making any requisition form customer end. Therefore, an amount of Rs 5/- per day is being deducted forcibly form my Prepaid amount.

                            Now, may I ask a few clarification:-
                            (i) Why at all without making any requisition, any service is being activated.
                            (ii) After making so many calls to Air Tel Customer Care, the different operator tell the different replies like: (a) Your Game Club is being renewed daily automatically, (b) Your Air Tel live sevice is being activated that to without any requsition. (c) An unwanted SMS of "Enjoy full songs" comes to Mob and amount is being deducted.
                            (iii) In spite of making so many repeated complaints to Customer care, the amount is still being deducted forcibly with a false consolation at all the times that now it will be alright, but it is never resolved till date.

                            It is humbly requested to interven into the matter seriously please.

                            During the past week i have received the message and phone call regarding the submit of the documents and on submitting the document for 3 times and also repeated call from my side to confirm the status i came know that Card is on my name and address for these i have checked so many times with customer care people i they informed to avoid the message.Because there are sending this in Bulk SMS.

                            On 27/10/2010 i have contact to Airtel Customer and spoken to there Manager M/s.Anjali regarding the Issue. She cross checked my details. Confirmed me that nothing will happen.

                            On 2/Nov/2010. my simcard is deactived with out any information.

                            Again i have contact Airtel Customer Care spoken to there executive Rasul. He informed that the due network problem. Sim is Deactive and by the morning it will be solve.

                            As per the conversion Again with Airtel Customer Care manager M/s. Anjali on 03/11/2010 evening i came to know that my number is deactived. it went for the recycle. With out any prior information they deactived my numbers which is being for seven years. Because of these i am getting of lots of inconvience and i want immediately number active.

                            Airtel prepaid mobile — Sim deactivation

                            Sir I have been using this number [protected] since last 5 years. Recently I have went to Bangalore for official purposes. I took the new airtel connection out there number is [protected]. But when i inserted my kolkata sim in my mobile i discovered that the same has been deactivated. I did not understand the reason for the same and went to the bangalore customer service centre but they replied that they are not able to solve this problem as the sim is of Kolkata.

                            This sim is of great impotance to me as I am using it for last 5 years and it will be absolutely difficult for me to change to a new number for kolkata.

                            Further the customer service of airtel has detoriated significantly. The quality which the company use to provide has taken a great setback particularly in feild of customer care services.

                            All these factors are resulting in shift of customers to another operators who provide much cheaper services. As we are not getting the desired quality of service for which we are paying the premium charges when compared with the charges of other operators.

                            I purchased a prepaid airtel sim [[protected]]by giving proper id proof and filling up the required form .However airtel office deactivated my sim saying that the address given while buying the sim was not correct .they asked to again fill up the form and give proper proof,which i complied immediately.When i went to submit the form i was told that my sim has already been cancelled and cannot be restarted now.I had given this number in some very important applications and this sudden cancellation is causing great inconvinience to me.Also i had about 250 rs balance in my account which has been forfieted by the company.I want airtel to immediately refund the balance or restart the sim so that i can use up my money.I request airtel officials to look into my case or else i will be forced to go to consumer forum for it.
                            Ya its 100% true in airtel. Even it happen to me and to many of my friends. Always airtel charging money from our main balance if once we received the automated call from airtel. Eventhough we cut the call within 2 sec after hearing the computer generated voice, they used to charge us rs.15 or rs.30 based on the call we attend. If we contact customer care means, they used to tell that we only pressed the corresponding key for charging the money. Its highly irresponsible act from airtel. These problems arise if we attend the calls regarding hello tunes, airtel radio subscription, etc...also they used to set hello tune by themselves and charging from us by telling that we only select that song. See we know whether we select any song by pressing * and 9 or not, but they used to tell that because you press only, we are charging. Someone stop this idiotic thing from airtel...

                            times, stating that I have not submitted the documents. But I have submitted
                            all the required documents in REACH Communication(Opp. K4 police station) on 2-Mar-2011 to transfer the ownership of Post paid mobile number from Kishore Babu K(Old Customer) to Srilekha N(New customer). SR number is 36135483. My LOC number for the request is 1. When I went to REACH Communication, they have entered incorrect mobile number in LOC and send that document to AIRTEL. They have mentioned that they will send the corrected to AIRTEL. And requested for action on REACH communication.

                            From Airtel i have received an e-mail stating that ...."Further, we would like to inform you that currently the incoming and outgoing call service has already been active with effect from 09/05/2011 in your account.

                            Taking note of your current concern, we have raised a complaint against the documents submission. For your reference, the unique Service Request number is 37423946. Our team will be contacting you by[protected] within 09:30 hours."

                            I have been a valued customer for airtel (9849598XXX) for a decade and suddenly my number got deactivated without my notice. Though there is a lot to tell about my experience to retain my number will tell you in brief. I had to relocate from AP to karnataka and asked for MPN as tata docomo offers 1p/sec on roaming during that time and airtel was on minute based billing. I have purchased tata doc sim and sent airtel for MNP they made many calls to my number to hold back despite buy another service provider sim I thought to remain with Airtel. As I have changed residence I was occasionally using my AP number. They have activated some service without concern and kept on deducting my balance so I thought not to recharge and kept on using only incoming whenever in Andhra. Suddenly they have deactivated my number even though I used just 2 days before for incoming calls. I have sent mails within one week of deactivation and kept on following up with airtel to have that number as it has my banking sms and lot of people who know that number. Today they called up after one month of interaction with 5 sent and 5 received mails, told that some documents are missing so we have deactivated. If documents were missing they should have asked on the day 1 of my first mail. Hope people who are reading this mail kindly think before taking a Airtel connection and people who want to retain should take necessary steps.

                            Hi,

                            I am an Airtel user for past 6years for the number- [protected], but since last year i am out of India but i made sure to maintain my sim so that it remains active, all of a sudden few days back my sim was deactivated without any prior notice or atleast a mail, when i contacted customer care i got 3 different reasons,
                            1. first time executive said that my validity has expired and if i would recharge it, it would be fine.
                            2. Second time i was told that its deactivated due to Negative Verification.
                            3. at last i was told that its deactivated as maybe i did not use it sufficiently or did not get it recharged as required.

                            After all this variety of reasons i asked them for a way to get it reactivated and i was promptly told that it has already been realloted to a new customer although if i try and call my own number it goes "not reachable" and it was baffling that within a week of deactivation they are saying it is realloted to a new customer.

                            Furthermore when i stressed on more details, there was no one to answer and each time i am getting a same copy pasted reply from the nodal officer of Airtel- ncr(Ms.Swati). My friend also went to airtel relationship centre for a probable solution as the number is very important to me as its distributed in my all official and personal contacts, but it was really dissapointing that even the manager at the store did not had any answer to our queries.

                            This behaviour is highly unacceptable from Airtel and i am looking for a way to get reasonable answers to my queries. Also i would like to know is this under a law that a deactivated sim can be realloted within 7days??

                                    I have lodged the complaint on 29.04.2009 regarding non working of set top box but by giving some temporary solution they avoided the replacement. But finally when the complaint of hang of set top box increased i lodged complaint vide complaint no.1462701, on 11.11.2009. And without any person attending the complaint i had received a msg that your complaint has been resolved , and when on asking clarification on 12.11.2009 , Mr.Nihar, Supervisor had assured me of resolution within 24 hrs and generated a fresh comp. no.1468862 dated 12.11.2009. And on 13.11.2009 a person from OSEAN Infratech , surya nagar , Ghaziabad named Mr. Bansal came(Piyush had sent him from the service agency) came and taken away the set top box for repair/replacement with an assurance to get it back by 14.11.2009. No one had informrmed but i had got a msg again that your complaint has been resolved . And on lodging protest a fresh complaint no.1479608 dated 14.11.2009 sent. No action was taken on your behalf. And the situation get worst when your service provider on contacting informed that he is not in town and will come whenever he will return to ghaziabad. And after that neither customer care nor Piyush had received any call from me throughout the day( sunday 15.11.2009)
                                    Hereby i inform you to return me my set top box repaired/unrepaired within 24 hrs along with compensation for mental agony of Rs. 1 lack. And this mail may be treated as LEGAL NOTICE.
                                    You will receive the copy of complaint within a week.

                                    This is a highhandeddedness of the company and you along with your serviceprovider is playing with innocent consumers.

                                    to afternoon i was switch on my settop box.it was on and coming neatly.after few minuts picture was off and some smoke is came out. now it is not working.. one more problem is whenever we call to customer care the numbers yu are given are not responding.i was anble to reach customer care. so thats the reason i am sending mail.please resolve my problem immidiately.my cust-id =[protected]

                                    Dear Sir,

                                    I am a existing customer of Airtel DTH from last one and the half year,my customer id is [protected]. My set top box was not working properly for the last one month,I registered the complaint regarading my set top was also get replaced but still it was not working. As the problem was continuously increasing i called the customer care, Engineer from the airtel comes, examine the problem & said to change Set-top Box (STB). After a payment of 350/-(for STB replacement) + 100/-(as visit charge) he replaced my new STB with a very old STB (on[protected]. It worked only for a day, i again called the engineer and he gave me the another STB but that also doesn't work. after that i again registered a complaint on 14-feb-2011 and they replaced the same on 23-feb-2011.again the same problem occurs. again i informed them on 25-feb-2011 but they does not come yet.
                                    also they provided ud the repaired one STB and not the new one.

                                    Now i am getting totally fed up with my DTH service..please do something.

                                    Please provide the suitable solution for my problem.

                                      I have an airtel postpaid connection and two months back while i was sleeping i got nearly 30 messages saying thanks for downloading ........you have been charged..... like this. I have never used airtel live site in this connection and even i have unlimited gprs plan under my connection still they charged me 1200 rs for the service that i have never used those services, after that i asked them to disconnect my connection the very next day i got a call from there customercare, saying not to disconnect the connection for this reason as they will rectify that soon,but no such measure has been taken from their side. Even their nodal officer send me list of things downloaded,which i haven't .Even the same thing happend to another number but they have discounted that amount for that connection. Anyway i am not gonna pay for the unused service. so beware of them may be this is a new trick from airtels part to get revenue. So dont get cheated..........................................

                                      Airtel — Overbilling of GPRS service - Postpaid user

                                      Hi,

                                      I have been using the Airtel postpaid mobile connection ([protected]) since about more than 8 years.

                                      On 4th Dec 2011, Airtel have activated the GPRS service of 200MB package on my mobile without my knowledge/confirmation.

                                      As per the package, after one month of 200MB free, they have started charging the data from 4th Jan 2012 (10 paise per 10kb)

                                      Once I got the bill on 21st Jan 2012, I shocked by seeing the bill of about Rs.1900+. Here they have charged me about Rs. 1300+ for 127MB of data.

                                      Then I raised the complaint (no.[protected] to airtel regarding the reversal of the amount, which they have not agreed fully.

                                      Point here is - Airtel has activated the GPRS service of 200MB package without my confirmation and they started charging for the data left and right. This is really cheating the customer. If they would have contacted me while activating then i would have opted for Rs. 98 package which gives 1GB of data free.(here i have just used 200MB + 127 MB = 327MB and they have charged so much..not at all acceptable..it really hurted the loyal customer of 8 yrs)

                                      I have contacted all the level of customer care representatives- 3 levels - floral, nodel & appellate. The output is they feel that it is correct but they can provide me only 350/- waiver. This is not acceptable. This is injustice. Why i should pay where it has been charged incorrectly.

                                      This is really cheating the customers!!!! Be customer centric to be success in the market....

                                        AirTel — VAS PACK 30

                                        I have not subscribed to this pack and Rs.30/- was deducted from my account. I don't want this pack on my cell. Stop this non-sense of subscribing things like this and cutting money from user accounts. I want my Rs.30/- back into my account.

DURING OCTOBER '09 I HAVE RECHARGED MY SERVICE RS.44/- AND RS.152/- AND THE SAME AMOUNT CREDITED TO THE DEDICATED ACCOUNT WITHOUT INFORMING ME. MY CELL NUMBER IS[protected].
