Dear Sir,
I was using one AIRTEL mobile no. [protected] under post paid of Rs.999 for 03 years time. On every bill some extra amount was charged as SMS Others for which they got no solid ans for what they charged and after calling at 121, they normaly waved off. But when they keep on charging regularly I stop releasing the payment and send a mail to resolve this problem else give me waver of double of what they charged acces/ wrong billing.

They have not given and solution and disconnect my mobile connection. Now they send me one person after finalising that they will give me waver and final payment of Rs1,335/- to be made to their collection agent mr Rakesh and the NOC will be send withen 24 hrs.

Now neither they send me NOC nore they activate my mobile. Also would like to inform u that once they charged for 03 years they should not block my Incomming. If the payment was due then they can block my out going only.

Hence i will request you to kindly take some action to activate my connection as i m loosing lot of my business due to this no.

Airtel Postpaid Connection — NO Actions on complaints

Hello Sir,

I am using AIRTEL postpaid connection from long period of span. From last 2 months there is one Yahoo Zone service is activated on my account which I requested to AIRTEL several times but UNfortunately, they are not responding to my complaints cum requests.

EVEN I believe this site for complaints is also not so effective towards conducting any actions over the complaints what I feel at this moment, since I have made the complaint here 1 month ago as well and I didnt even received any feedback or acknowledge thro call or mail.

This is govt site and it happens everywhere in GOVT work as I believe...

IF the site coordinators are really want to help thro this site to the peoples, I would request for taking the actions as soon as possible on these complains against the Service providers.

AirTel — Not given connection after payment

Dear Sir,

My name is Anand Pare, 356, Shay Nagar NX, INDORE. I applied for airtel broadband connection with modem, on approx 10th May, 2010 with 1500/ Rs. and committed that i'll get the connection within 02 working days. I didn't get my broadband connection till now. When i asked the person who has came to my house, he told me everyday that today connection is given. Now, I am waiting for connection for past three week. And Each time i call to people, they told me that i'll get the same within 1-2 days which never happens.

    I had applied for a prepaid mobile connection from Airtel mobile service under pre paid category after fullilling the required formalities and depositing the requisit fee on[protected], vis.-a-vis. to Mobile No. [protected]. My connection was activated on the same day but it was without the in comming call facility. From that day onwards I had made numbers of complaints but so far I couldn't get the in coming call facility activated by the service provider. Therefore you are requested to get my so called disabled service restored.

      im a Airtel user of past 5 years its services best than other networks. . . but last 1 month im facing lots of difficulty i Cant able to connect to customer care no 121 . . my ivr is blocked i complaint many times there is no proper responce. . ur agents r not having helping tendency to customers . i need my ivr get released very soon . . otherwise i ll make this issue to consumer court . . .

          I am facing so many problems to connect with customer care I sent couple of mails to regarding this issue but they are not resolved this is issue how can I recharge and adding new packeges and cancel packages they are not responeded

            Sir, I am using airtel prepaid ( [protected]).I was using GPRS from last two years.I recharged with Rs.98 on 16.08.2009 for GPRS services.After recharge I could not use GPRS. I complained to customer care for about 12 times in a month. My sim ditributor also complained several times.Every time they provided a number (12118) and GPRS settings.12118 was not not a valid number.After one month it lapsed. Then I requested to transfer that amount in my main account. They replied that it is not possible. Pl. advise what to do now?

            pre-paid — about GPRS activation

            Hi,
            couple of days before I have taken GPRS connection. But it is not working. I have got three sms from Reliance but all the three sms which I have got were in symbols. Which I can't understand. so please help me.

              Airtel — updating of payment

              Sir,

              I, A. Ramprasad, having post-paid mobile connection No.[protected] (CUG, APSRTC, HYDERABAD, A.P), have paid the bill of Rs.300/- for the month of August ( bill No.[protected] dt.06.09.2007 ) on 17.09.2007, vide receipt No. 30039. But the same is not credited to my account and same is being shown as outstanding in my account. In this regard I request you kindly verify the above and see that the amount is credited to my account.

              airtel billing — Not Update of Bill

              Few words i would like to Say about the overwilling response of the Airtel Billing servie is airtel provide the worst mobile service in mumbai .Its my mistake that i am connectd to the airtel billing plan, If we have an authority to set the ratings than airtel will be on the to of the charts starting form upside down.
              Network worst -10 out of 0 - 10 never the system is working whenever we call the customer care they try to hide their identity. One common reason they have
              sir our system is down
              our system is going under maintainance
              kindly call after some time we will try to help you.

              Airtel Postpaid — No updation of the bill payment

              I deposited all my dues on 24-june-08, but still no updations of the same have been done due to which my number has been temporarily disconnected.

              Airtel — Bill paid But not yet updated

              I was using airtel no. from the last 2 years .
              i paid a sum of rs 1000/ in dec 2007 thr MCHEK . till date they have not updated as they said they are not able to trace that amount.
              They have disconnected my no. from the last three months .
              i have almost 10 complaint no. regarding this topic from airtel .
              also i ahve submitted the hard copy of that card statement to these people .

              I deposited all my dues on 7-oct-08, but still no updations of the same have been done due to which my number has been temporarily disconnected.

              Airtel — call charges not matching as assigned

              My mobile no. is [protected].I have purchesed the shim in Hospet, Karnataka on July 2008. While purchesed the call charges were 50paisa for local calls and Rs1.50/- for STD calls. Now i am paying Rs1.00/- for local calls and Rs1.50/- for STD calls.I have been giving repeted complains but not getting any respond. Its high time kindly solve this.

Cleraring on 4.12.2010 but this bill amount addition in my next month Bill for the period 23.10.2010 to 22.11.2010 is 584.81 i.e (584.81 + 318.35 Previous Bill )total 903.16

              airtel billing — 05224107636

              A broad band connection was taken from Airtel in the month of May'10 against 3 months advance payment of Rs. 1800/- later on I had requested to disconnect it . after all verifications, it was disconnected,but after a week or so the connection was reconnected.On asking through customer care it was informed that I had given consent for reconnecting it on some low rental plan.(BUT I AM NOT AWARE OF THIS CONSENT) I requested not to continue it but of no avail.Bills started pouring in and calls for payment too started and I repeatedly told Airtel people to disconnect the connection, but just to deaf ears it was.
              Finally, in the first fortnight of Oct'10, one Ms. Meenakshi from Airtel Delhi office resolved my issue and asked me to pay Rs. 300/- against my usage during Aug and Sep '10 and confirmed that all other balance will be waived off.( since it was a compulsive usage for me beside the connection was disconnected for 7-10 days) Also a plan of Rs. 450/- was offered to me on discount ie. Rs. 225/- per month was specifically told to me over phone.The entire deal was then confirmed to me through the Airtel Lucknow Office.
              I paid Rs. 300/- on 28th Oct'10 as promised but my Oct'10 bill too was inflated one and previous balances too showed up. which was very dissappointing and unexpected of Airtel.
              Since then I am repeatedly Lodging my problem and complaint to customer care and once or twice I received calls from Airtel Delhi office they promised me to revert back but still my status remains unchanged.

              MAY I REQUEST HERE TO CORRECT MY BILL AND WAIVE OFF MY UNDUE OVERBILLING AS PROMISED TO ME ENABLING ME TO PAY MY GENUINE BILL ON TIME AND ENJOY GOOD EXPERIENCE WITH AIRTEL

                My mobile No [protected] [ Chennai ]. On[protected] I received one message after completing the call that " top up with RC155 and get Rs 155 full talk time ". According to that message immmediately I rushed to local dealer and recharged the same. After recharching I got one message that " Recharge successful on[protected] at 12:51 pm.Talktime Rs 138.53. MRP Rs155.00. Trans ID[protected]. Enjoy 1 sec pulse with RC64.Rech today! "
                Instead of full talktime I got Rs 138.53 only. Regarding this I contacted 121 customer care and he replied that they given wrong message. So that they could not credit full talktime to my account.
                And also he shouted that go and complaint anywhere. I got loss of Rs 16.47 [ nearly I lost 82 calls because of 20 paise per one call ] and also I am suffering from mental agony.

                sir I request you to kindly do justice regarding this and also help me in preventing this type of fraud messages in future.

                  Hello,

                  I am a prepaid customer from Hyderabad, Andhra Pradesh with mobile no. [protected]

                  I have been on roaming in UP (west) & NCR since mid-August. I ran out of balance. And received a message from Airtel saying..

                  "Dear Customer, Incase you do not have enough balance while on roaming,Recharge with RC 222 & get Talktime of Rs.199.27.Standard roaming call charge applicable."

                  I have got this message very frequently while I have been on roaming. Now I went and got the recharge RC 222 done, but I received only Rs. 2.22 in my main account on 22-Oct-2009. (TransID[protected]. Thus I was not able to make or receive any calls for 2 days.

                  So, I went to the nearest relationship center and they flat out refused to help me saying this is not a local no. & that I need to contact Airtel Hyderabad and gave me this number [protected] . I was also told that I will have to make STD calls on my expense to get a resolution.

                  Airtel is a national company and you should be able to help in such cases. The current circle where I am roaming should be able to help roaming customers from other circles.

                  Anyway, so I started making calls to this number. And I say calls because I have been making calls to [protected] almost 4-5 times daily to get a resolution.

                  Around 80% times, the call does not connect saying number ([protected]) does not exist. And I used my mother's Airtel phone to call this number.

                  When the call got connected, I was told I have received Rs.222 in special/dedicated account # 8. I did not want that. I wanted Rs. 199.27 in my main account as per the message sent to me by you.

                  Anyway I checked & there were Rs.222 credited in the account # 8, but how do I use this account. The executive told me you must have some balance in your main account to be able to use this account # 8. So, I was told to get a recharge of Rs. 55 which gives me around Rs. 46 in my main account.

                  Now I made some calls and noticed that it is my main account and not the account # 8 that is being charged. So tried to call the Hyderabad customer care number again. When I got through, I was told I can't use this account # 8 while I am on roaming. I have to be in my home circle to be able to use that special/dedicated account # 8. So why did that message indicate to get RC 222 while on roaming?

                  Plus, what's even better is this account # 8 expires within 4 weeks. So it will expire on 20-Nov-2009. I am not going back to Hyderabad before that. So, in effect I have been cheated out of Rs.222 in the first place and then on the numerous STD calls that I made to your useless Hyderabad customer care number. Now the customer care executives aren't available there anymore. Instead I am asked by the system to send 'Airtel' to 121 and then a generic reply comes, which doesn't improve things anyway.

                  Yesterday my mother remarked that I have wasted more than the actual amount on this stupid effort to get it resolved. And she is correct. This has cost me around Rs. 500 already.

                  I am very dis-pleased and urge you to resolve this problem as soon as possible. Either
                  (a) I should get the Rs.199.27 in my main account and you can take this Rs.222 from account # 8 back which I am not able to use anyway, or
                  (b) I should be told how to use the account # 8 while roaming. But this should be soon so I can use this account # 8 before it is about to expire.

                  Please note that my family have been Airtel customers since a long time and you risk losing all o[censored]s to your rivals.

                  Hi, my number is [protected] and I have also been misguided by the CSR I have totally spent Rs.150 + 109 for this but not even single paise I got the credit.

                  So, As soon as I finish the month from the compIaint I going to forward the complaint to TRAI and consumer court for needful action.

                  The CSR also said that he is going to levy STD call charges if i call to customer care.

                  As I think our indian common man can as for their rights if they wishes. I have made a step forward to fight with the illegalities and inconveniences of Airtel. Hope you all would join me.

                    Dear Sir/ Madam,
                    I, Mr.Himanshu Vora, have a postpaid connection with Airtel past 3 years, I suppose.
                    My mobile number is [protected].I have made my payment of Rs.1129.13 for September 2009 by cheque ( Bank: Bassein Catholic Co.op Bank Ltd., Cheque no: 770233, Dated: 16th oct 2009, Cheque passed on: 23rd oct 2009 ). But this updatation is not done in my account. I called up customer care to know why is this so. The complaint number then provided by customer support officer is 29001291. As per the officer, I have submitted the photocopy of passbook mentioning the bill amount deducted from that account. But still there is no response from their end.This is the first issue.

                    I have placed a request for Bill plan change in September, so that my Bill plan gets changed in October 2009. At present, I have LX 350 plan. I was willing to go for Privilege 299 plan. But due to some problem at your end ( some technical issue ), the bill plan did not change. I called up to know the status in October 2009 they tell me now it cannot be changed since your cycle has started. I understood it and placed the request again.Now before 3rd November 2009, I confirm again that is the request still there, they inform me that it is still there.On 4th Novenber 2009, I call them to ask that Is the plan changed? They tell me,No it is not. It is their mistake.They will get it done.The customer care officer issues a complaint and the same complaint number is[protected].Then I get a call from Airtel ( Number is -[protected] ). And to my surprise, I come to know that THIS PLAN IS NO LONGER VALID. YOU CANNOT GO FOR THIS PLAN. Then the officer tells me you have a payment due of some amount Rs.4000/- so you cannot change your plan which is related to the first issue.

                    This is really very tiring and very much UNPROFESSIONAL from your side.I need the plan to be changed this month itself and also the payment updated in 1 day itself. ( Today is 4th November 2009 ). I have also logded a Complaint with Indian Customer Complaint forum.Please look into the matter seriously or I will have to take some more severe action which I am not willing to.                     Airtel (post paid) — Regarding payment for non-usage

                    Dear Sir,
                    My wife Mrs Kalyani has taken postpaid Airtel number [protected]. We have used it for 2 months and asked for its disconnection on 28/04/2009. At that time bill was Rs 610.00. We have asked Panvel airtel office to adjust Rs 500/- that has been paid as an advance and paid Rs 110/-. Their have agreed for the same.
                    Again, I received a bill on 3/6/09 asking me to pay 628.89. I had been to Airtel office Panvel and asked about it. They were saying that your conection is temporarliy disconnected and you need to pay it. After arguments, they have inform that I have to pay Rs 500/- and later my advance will be posted by cheque. I have paid Rs 500/- (Transaction id:[protected]

                    My question to you is
                    The same thing could have been told on 28/4/09. So that they is no need to receive any airtel bills!.
                    We expect Constumer friendly service from Airtel but not in this way.

                    Airtel post-paid — Non Updation Of Payment

                    Res. sir,

                    I have paid the Rs. 1000/- to airtel executive at my home as per the telecon with airtel customer care and told it to pay it at my home but till date no one taking the responsibility apart from that they regret my payment.                       Hi,

                      I am bearing with Airtel Post paid number [protected] with Chennai Circle. Plan is 249 rupees with HCL Corporate account CUG Plan.

                      In my October month bill statement, i have found Rs.843.98 as One time charges. I called customer care regarding this amount and what is the meaning of one time charges but cutomer service executives are not clarifying my questions and i am not getting detailed statement.

                      When i was taking nthe connection, i was told that there will not be any hidden charges, but i am considering this as hidden charges.

                      I called customer care many times. the answer from them is either system is down to clarify my answer and will get back to you after 48 hours.

                      I am not at all satidfied with airtel service, i need proper justification and resolution from airtel.

                        I was using a Rs119/= booster for three months which gave me the benefit of 30p/min to Airtel mobiles and 50p/min to other mobiles and local sms at free of cost. These benefits are for three months and this booster doesnt include any talktime. I recharged with this booster just last month. Today I recieved an alert saying if I use Rs64 booster I will be charged 1p/sec for Airtel and 1.2p/sec for other phones. There was not any "conditions apply" intimation or anything regarding sms or the previous boosters.
                        Now I am charged 50p for sms and my previous booster was cancelled. Now I am at loss. There was no intimation regarding the cancellation of previous boosters. They announce every new scheme daily, there is no transparency in their schemes. When I complained to their customer care, they were not bothered to clarify clearly. They are not ready to show transparency in their schemes. It is total cheating. Customers are taken for granted. Had I known if the previous booster will be cancelled or I will be charged much for even a sms to Airtel, I would not have gone for this booster option.
                        I am at loss. Kindly ask them to explain their schemes and boosters clearly hereafter. They refused to cancel and refund the money. Why cant they cancel the booster and refund my money? It is totally unacceptable.

                          i am active 24 hour internet pack the mobile office on it .. at 3/11/09 at 4:30 p.m ..i have charge 20 Rs. but at after 7 hour again charge of 20 Rs. rather than it is the pack of 24 hour...no one have listen the my complain...

They blocked the SIM on 27.09.2009. They are not gave correct answer and say, "your proofs are not submitted". I'll submitted my proofs two times already. But they are not activate this No. [protected]. I'll contact with SIRI communications, Kadapa, they are talk ith me "I send a mail to AIRTEL authotrities, they are activate that", but not activate. I'll gave a complaint already.                               This to lodge a complaint regarding faulty subsciptions being issued by Airtel .

                              Yesterday I received an sms saying sms BP to 121to get your current bill plan details.sms NBP to 121 to get details of newBill plan offerings. I sent NBP to 121, in response in got an sms having details of various new offerings out of which I wanted details of Simple 149 the code for which is SP 149. I did not get any information of the plan, however in half an hours time my inbox received 4-5 sms saying "Thank you for subscribing to Hello tunes/Astrology service/Airtel missed call Alert Seva/Airtel Radio/animations etc. and that you have been charged for the same.

                              This is to bring to everybodys notice that I have not subscribed to any of these services nor do I intend to pay for them. This is some fault in their software which they need to repair. Hope fully I will not be subject to trauma of moving from office to office to resolve this matter. Their customer care numbers are not approachable from my numbers as I have a Retailer plan. This is the only way I can put forward my grievances to the company and to consumer forums .

                                my k.s.n.raju my mob no:[protected] iam using this number from past 4 years as i wanted this number to be converted to prepaid i have settled all my dues on 2392009 and on 2592009 they have issued me a new prepaid sim card on the same number with a receipt by collecting RS 300 with an advance recharge of RS 100. but on 28102009 i found out that the number was alloted to somebody else. after visiting their respective officers no action was taken and it was causing me a lot of distress to my bussiness and even approached consumer forum and i found that supreme court ordered a separate tribunal to be set up for complaints against telecommunication companiesand that is yet to set up in banglore so its causing me a lot of problems and distress please kindly help

                                1. On dt.10.12.09 I recharged Rs.68/- for power plus of 1 year in Airtel
                                2. Subsequently I got a message that same facility is available on same date for Rs.38/-, which was previously Rs.68/-
                                3. If 38/- is the actual value of the power plus then how Rs.68/- is also the value of same.
                                4. I complain more than 5 times to the Customer Care Executives to return my Rs.30/- fairly.
                                5. Non of them solved but denied to confess the mistake in procedure of Airtel management.
                                6. If Rs.68/- powerplus is closed and Rs.38/- is active, then I could have got my talktime of Rs.68/-.
                                7. Is it fair for a company like Airtel to exploit the cunsumers like this.
                                8. I am requesting to return my Rs.30/- as my talk time.
                                9. It is found that Customer Care Executives are disconnecting the Phones without solving the complaints.
                                10. Even then they are making some tricks in their system so that it is not possible to contact them.

                                Please consider my case fairly.

                                  I have been asking for details and reasons for debit of Rs.4404.40 x5 ( 22222/-) times entered in your record but no answer is coming to me on what grounds the same entries have been caried out in the span of 10 minutes. I have been told that it is on account of GPRS but I fail to understnd how same amount of data can be downloaded in 10 minutes times causing the same amount usage in five entries. Further I had no equipment to use such data all along.

                                  I have written to Airtel several times but tey are only threatening to disconnect but have no answer. I have already deposited Rs.10000/- as an adance in order to keep my services working and have further been paying all their bills on normal usage. The answer from Airtel is awaitd.


                                  I have already asked them to answer in 7 days or I will be taking the recource of moving to consumer forum. I am getting threats of disconnection and if you disconnect you would be doing so at your risk. Against the bill no.[protected] dated 25 10 2009 for the charges incurred during 23 09 2009 to 22 10 2009 Rs. 2245.02 I have already paid vide cheque no. 705857 on PNB dated 02 11 2009.

                                  Kindly order Airtel to come out with facts and they should stop harassing customers in this manner



                                  You are once again reminded to give me the answer on the debits as shown above.

                                    First of all without any prior notice airtel activate a stardust pack on my mobile No. [protected]. Three weak ago i.e. on Monday 8 December 08, i am ask your customer care executives to deactive my stardust subscription pack. But he dont. Then Next Monday 15 December 08 my stardust pack renewed and Rs. 10 will be deducted on my account. I don't understand this. I complaint it and customer care executives tell me that your scheme will be deactivated. But scheme will not deactivate. Now on Tuesday 23 December another Rs. 10 will be deducted on my account. I am complaining for this to your customer care executives to please deactive stardust subscription pack but they will not help me. Now i am asking you if scheme will not stopped till december 25 i will take such a Legal Action for you. So, please cooperate with me otherwise this is very bad for you and your company.

                                    Without my knowledge AIRTEL activated Stardust package for my mobile number [protected]. And they started to debit Rs.10 every ten days from my prepaid balance. I ve registered complaint three times and the so called "responsible customer care" told they ll deactivate it on first week of december. But with their prompt reaction again amount was debited Rs. 10 again from my balance on 24th december when i asked for the status the responsible executive told me to deactivate airtel live gprs facility without any reason. I deactivated that too.now too those irresponsible executives refuse to give proper reason for that and today 02-01-09 also am debited Rs.10.
                                    I dont know what the hell these people are thinking. 70 % of the people are using airtel but still they dont value customers need means they dont deserve that much customers. Am going to register a complaint for that again and even after this if am not provided a solution then i ve to change my network to a better responding one. Loss of one customer like me wont be a big deal.. Soon i ll create a blog on this and see how much customers are having the same problem..

                                    We are not earning to pay daily rental for message and unnessary service charges on recharges and these kind of government holiday charges for messages. Even after bearing all the inconveniences people are using the network and still they are adding burden with these package craps to the customers means they are awaiting a PROPER RESPONSE from us.

                                    Lets unite for this issue. And who ever experience this problem send a chain of mails following this..

                                    i am ask your customer care executives to deactive my stardust subscription pack. But he dont. Then Next stardust pack renewed and Rs. 10 will be deducted on my account. I don't understand this. I complaint it and customer care executives tell me that your scheme will be deactivated. But scheme will not deactivate. Now on Tuesday 23 December another Rs. 10 will be deducted on my account. I am complaining for this to your customer care executives to please deactive stardust subscription pack but they will not help me. Now i am asking you if scheme will not stopped till december 25 i will take such a Legal Action for you. So, please cooperate with me otherwise this is very bad for you and your company.
                                    By mistakenly I clicked on startdust add and without confirmation airtel has activated stardust service .
                                    I had called them(airtel customer care) 2 times that to stop this service, but still each week my 10 rupees are deducting.

                                    I am frustrated now .What should i do ???????
                                    First of all without any prior notice airtel activated a stardust pack on my mobile No. [protected]. thrice i have asked your customer care executive to deactivate my stardust subscription pack. But no response. meanwhile stardust pack got renewed and Rs. 10 is getting deducted on my account each time, ending up with nil balance. I don't understand this. i warn you this time if stardust scheme doesnt get deactivated within 2 days, i would have to take a Legal Action against your company. I am sorry to say this.                                     I am using airtel mobile services for quite sometime now and recently I have been getting charged Rs.10 for subscription of Stardust pack. Everytime I load with vouchers the charging starts and this has been happening for quite sometime now. I have called the Customer Care and filed a complaint with them but there has been no change. The same deduction continues.

                                    Fusion Lounge is subsscribed on my No. whenever i recharge. Please stop it and also return my money.Rs 15 is deducted whenever i recharge
